Hi Friends,
I have been a customer of LIC HFL for 3.5 years. With my own experience, I have Found LIC is worsting banking organization across the domain.
1. Service is pathetic, no one is there to listen to customer.
2. they ROI after a fixed period is very high, (almost 2% higher than market rate)
3. Their Service time is almost double as compared to other govt/private banks.
4. disbursement time in CLP plan is quite high, SBI takes 2-3 days for disbursement while LIC take >20 days for the same task.
5. Now I am doing balance transfer, they took >15 days to provide list of documents and foreclosure letter.
6. After Loan closure, again LIC is asking for 4 weeks time for document retrieval which should not take more than a week time.

Comparing to nearest competitor SBI, they address these tasks in almost half of the time.

Over and above when I write a mail to their Customer care, I always get auto reply that some one revert back, but to my surprise I haven't got a single call/reply from customer care team.

I know most of the customer may not have faced these issues, however Service quality and capability is best judged in crucial times.

I have tried & tested and basis that I am sharing this feedback for every-ones benefit.

    My loan a/c no.[protected]. I have taken loan from LIC Housing Finance Ltd. from Asaf Ali Road Branch. Loan was taken for 15 years. I came to know that they have increased my tenure from 15 yrs to 20 yrs. and they have increased interest rate I.e 12% per annum which is not justified.       Loan No :[protected] I have been trying to reach the agents since July'2015 for LOD but I am not getting any help which could help better. They have sent me those docs on 18th but I have not received it so when I asked them about the tracking details they said they dont have it. Then they again sent me document on 26th in Professional courier which didnt deliver it to me rather it sent back the docs by mistake to Bangalore office. I have been asking these people to send me a soft copy but none of them are responding to me. They are not picking up the phone also they are rude in their mail communication. Currently I am located at Bhubaneswar and I cant physically visit to bangalore for every small stuff. They should understand this and deliver what is committed by them.
      Almost after a month long follow up in mail & phone they have sent me a softcopy but before that i had gone through a lot of pain which i cant explain in words. Bitter exp remain in ur mind for ever and that is where u loose faith. I lost my faith from this organisation completely.

          SALE DEED is missing from LICHFL. I have executed my Sale Deed from J.P Nagar branch, Bangalore. File was processed by Hanumaan Associates. I have applied for List of Documents for Take Over from LICHFL to SBI on 20-June-2015. Now I came to know that my sale deed is missing from them. I tried to contact the Area Manager of J.P Nagar. I tried to speak with her in person to sort out my issue, but No proper response from Area Manager: Chitra Anandhy. (J.P.Manager) Mob: +91 - [protected] Also contacted Dy. Manager & Other relevant staff: 1. Saraswathi: +[protected] 2. Meenakshi Name of the person & Agency: Diwakar Naidu from HANUMAAN Associates. Mob: +91 - [protected], +91-[protected] This Hanuman Agency is 3rd among the Top 10 Business provider list for J.P.Nagar, Bangalore branch. Both the Agency as well as the LICHFL are together and they are not at all responding.. It was a worst/Bitter experience with LICHFL. Neither the LICHFL team responded not the Agent who executed my file responded.

            I had health insurance from LIC (jeewan arogya) with policy no.[protected]. I claimed for the medical expenses on June 4, 2015 now it is August 26, 2015 however sadly and disappointly I am still waiting for reimbursements. Now I regret for not taking any cashless plan. Kindly look into the matter and do the needfull, thank you.

              Dear Sir,
              I registered the auto pay facility of SBI to pay premium online on 11/08/2015 and same day I paid an amount of Rs. 25457 from lic website towards the policy number quoted above in subject line.
              On 20/08/2015, I got message that I have paid the same amount through SBI auto pay lic. I have also emailed to lic regarding this. and also make phone call to the concerned branch, they are saying we have got one premium only on[protected]. The details of the transactions are as below.

              Transaction Date : 20-Aug-2015

                Received a phone call from LIC (Caller said so) number +91-[protected] asking about confirmation of my policy number siting that some cheuqe of bonus has come back provide details of your policy.I said I havent received any cheque my address has also not changed in mean time. He said information was sent to your agent. I said please let me know which policy as I have several policy & different agents. He said policy which you pay half yearly. I said I have 3 to 4 policies which I pay half yearly. He said for which you have installments of more than 3000. As he was using wage details I asked him please give me a policy number or agent's name. On which person from other side said "AAP APNI MARWATE RAHIYE" & cut the phone.

                          My policy number[protected] . date of maturity on the original policy- 09 th Aug 2015. Below e- mail that i had written to LIC branch - 918 is self explanatory. Till date there is no revert. I have lost out the opportunity of investing in their own scheme of varishta yojana, and the last date was 14th Aug, I am completely fed up and i want LIC to pay for the for the harrasment caused by them, loss of maturity funds otherwise i would invested and got interest. Thank you, Jayalaxmi Shetty Above mentioned policy has matured on 9th August 2015 as mentioned in my original policy and I have still not got my money in my bank account. I had already forwarded my original policy and bank details etc to LIC well on time. When I checked on 10th August with the 918 branch, I was told that in the computer system the maturity date is mentioned as 9th September!!! This is the reason why my money is not paid!! Is this my fault??????? Why should we suffer for your carelessness?? I will certainly not accept it. This maturity amount of approx RS 332000/- is earmarked to invest in your institution in my husband's name under Varishta pension scheme which is closing on 14th of August. We are salaried people and cannot have any other income other than the above amount. Please ensure that the money is transferred under this scheme at any cost and you can keep doing investigation at your own time later. I am not asking for my money in my account.But i want this money to be invested in the scheme before the end of the last date. Necessary supporting document has been already submitted to the above branch and I was told that the same is being looked into. I am extremely upset on this issue and the trust that we have been having with LIC is completely shattered. If this problem is not resolved, and if I miss this opportunity of investing in the scheme, you will be held responsible and I will go ahead with legal.                             I have faced the issue while making premium payment using IDBI payment gateway and money got debited from my bank account. I did not receive any receipt.

                            When I tried to call the service center numbers provided on portal no one received my call.

                            I have received the receipt after the complaint forwarded to LIC.

                              On line premium receipt not received /generated Sir, I paid premium through 'Citibank Credit card' policy no.[protected] amount 1382.80 on 19th Aug. I call and Confirmed with Citi bank that the amount is already approved to the LIC payment. But still the Online Premium receipt is not generated. Please send me online receipt to my email.                                 I made complete outstanding payment on 10th August 2015 and this cheque got cleared, all outstanding amount got deducted from my account which included principal and interest till date. I was also promised there would be no more EMI deductions as the account is settled. But still on 17th August 2015 the EMI got deducted from my account through ECS. This is complete cheat and fraud. Looking forward to get some solution on this. Even after settling the account EMI is being deducted which is not ethical at all. My account number is [protected]. EMI of amount 32928 got deducted unnecessarily. Due to this my bank balance got disturbed and i had to arrange for funds instantly for other purposes. I had kept this amount for some other use and these guys deducted the EMI and i had to arrange for funds then. This is ridiculous. I want my money 32928 back credited to my account ASAP and with compensation as well.

                                    Sir, I saroj devi take a lic policy of 20 sep 1996 .my policy no. Is[protected]f Rs 75000 .According to policy bond Lic give after maturity one third of sum assured(Rs 25000) and monthly income benifit equal to one percent of the balance two third of sum assured. Lic is give me Rs 25000 and rs 500 per month till jul 12.after jul 12 lic refused to give money. Pls clearfy my problem because i am so frustrated by going lic office too time.

                                        Dear Sir, Two years back I had taken a 10 year Bima Nivesh policy through your LIC agent Mr. Bhavesh Chandra Kshyap (working with Jehanabad Branch, Patna-1 Division) with a starting premium of Rs. 100, 000 yearly. At the behest of your LIC agent the amount was paid to your agent' account as LIC doesn't accept first premium by cheque according to him. But till now I have not received my policy documents or the payment receipt. Upon inquiry from your branch manager at your Jehanabad Branch I came to know that he has no information about any such policy and is not responsible for the misdeed of the LIC agent. I have all the evidences of payment to his bank account as well as recordings of telephonic conversation with your LIC agent Mr. Bhavesh Chandra Kashyap in which he has admitted that he has already deposited the premium with LIC, whereas your branch manager denies it. In above mentioned circumstances, I'm left with no option but to file a consumer case against LIC and your agent for recovery of this money with interest as LIC doesn't make any endeavor to make their customers aware of procedures for payment of first or any subsequent payment of premium to LIC and taking advantage of this your agents claim that they are authorized to receive money on LIC' behalf. Later on these unscrupulous agents dupe your customers and you watch all this as mute spectators just as your branch manager. However, I'm still looking forward to resolve the matter amicably which will save the face of your branch, division as well as the brand name LIC. I will choose not to take the matter to consumer court strictly on following two conditions. 1. LIC or your agent return my money with interest. 2. LIC takes punitive action against such errant agents who mislead and cheat your customers. Awaiting yours on an urgent basis as I'm running out of patient.                                         Please find below mentioned idiotic reply from LIC. The agent is lying it is evident. But why the jehanabad branch manager is shielding him. Why would I give money to an LIC agent for purpose other than life insurance? He is not my father in law. He had submitted the proposal for LIC but didn't deposit the money. I know at least 3 more persons he has cheated. I have all the evidences including recordings of telephonic conversation but the branch manager is not interested in that for reasons known to him only. If he wants to escalate the matter I will make sure he gets his lesson. Meanwhile IRDAI had called and has taken cognizance of the matter and they too are investigating the matter from their side. This time I'll not let him get away Scott free.
