To The Manager, LIC Housing Finance Ltd., Ameerpet, Hyderabad. Sir, Sub:-HOUSING LOAN – LOAN A/C NO.[protected] – Non issuance of Cheque for Balance amount already approved– Reg. It is to submit that I, G.Balaji applied for Housing Loan on 05.04.2013 vide Application No.[protected] and after providing necessary documents, on 06.04.2013, I got an SMS to my mobile from LICHFL that an amount of Rs.9, 75, 000/- towards loan was approved. On 28.05.2013, I got an SMS that Cheque of Rs.6, 80, 000 bearing No.014570 was issued and later, I have received the same Cheque. From 10.07.2013 onwards, an amount of Rs.9, 123/- towards monthly installment is being deducted from my bank account through ECS till now. The total approved amount towards Housing Loan was RS.9, 75, 000/-. But, I have received cheque only for Rs.6, 80, 000/-. With the preliminary cheque issued by you, I have started constructing the house and waited for more than 5 months for the second cheque. But second cheque for amount of Rs.2, 95, 000/- was not received by me and caused much inconvenience to me and I borrowed money for interest from several persons and tried to complete the construction. This type of negligence by the authorities is improper. Hence, I request you to verify the records and ensure that the remaining amount may be sanctioned at an early date to complete the construction of my house.     I, prasanta gogoi, the joint policy holder in tandem with my spouse mrs chaya dutta of the pol no[protected] had paid the annual premium rs 41092 online on 16/12/2013 but unfortunately the online receipt came only in my spouse's name instead in joint names i.e. me and my spouse preventing me to avail income tax benefit. as the policy is a joint one i need a premium paid certificate in joint names i.e. me and my spouse.but the lic offices in assam are not forthcoming with help.

          Information under R T I Act’2005
          I have availed housing loan from your institution in April’2006 and since then have been maintaining my loan accounts (Numbers [protected] for Rs.2, 00, 000/- & [protected] for Rs.8, 00, 000/-) in most regular manner through ECS mandate and appreciably there has never been single default due to fault of mine.
          Notwithstanding sound track record of my loan account since beginning, I have been put to harassment, humiliation & financial loss due to lukewarm attitude and un-professionalism on the part of your office. Details are narrated hereunder for your kind perusal:-
          In August’2012, my ECS Debit authority was returned by Payee Bank in my Loan Account Number [protected] due to insufficient balance in account, even though my account was having sufficient balance (Statement Enclosed). After over 14 months, in the last of Sept.’2013, recovery agent was deputed to my place and it came to my notice that penal interest is being imposed every month towards default of said & single installment and same has amounted to over Rs. 4000/-. Earlier I was never intimated in any manner what so ever regarding charging of penal interest being repeatedly carried over every month in my loan account.
          I immediately approached your Sapru Marg, Lucknow office on 28th Sept’2013 & 29th Sept’2013 to enquire about the additional interest being charged in my loan account. It was informed to me that against the installment of August.’2012 additional interest is being charged every month though following monthly repayments have been regular and same cannot be waived /reversed. I most humbly requested that I have never been informed that Additional Interest is being charged, but, I regret to say that approach and attitude of your concerned official has been most un-professional & disturbing & arrogant to the feelings of borrowers/your client like me and never expected from reputed institution like your’s.
          During the course of my persuasion & submission that even in Aug.’2012 my account was having sufficient balance and also submitted Bank Statement to that effect (Copy enclosed) and requested to consider waiver as I was not at fault & was never informed about repeated Additional Interests being charged in my loan account. But unfortunately I was made to get out & insultingly told that Institution is not bound to inform each & every borrower as there are lacs of borrower accounts at their end & nothing will be done in the matter. These things happened in the presence of your Sapru Marg branch official Shri K D Ram & others present there on 29/09/2013 (Sunday). In case you are inclined/opened to any investigation /enquiry in this regard, I am ready to be present before any of your competent authority wherever & whenever required.
          As I have no option but to avoid further additional interest from being charged, I deposited the amount as was being demanded and vide instrument no. 412646 deposited cheque for Rs. 25, 122/- towards installment of Aug.’2012 and Sept.’2013 & additional interest for Rs.4, 122/-, reserving my every right for remedial recourse in the matter. Amount of Rs.4, 122/- was charged towards default of Aug.’2012 single installment (Rs. 10, 500/-) covering additional interest of every month, Bank Charges and Recovery Agent charges though I was never at fault as at the cost of repetition, my account was having sufficient balance in my account but I could neither approach my payee banker for remedy nor could adjust /deposit the amount required as your concerned office has miserably failed to inform me about such additional interest being charged regularly every month in my account/at your end, which was your entire internal accounting /mechanism that was happening in my account without any knowledge /notice/warning to me/borrower to adjust/deposit any such default and avoid imposition of additional interest further.
          I was never informed by way of Registered Letters /E-mails/Any statement of account/Visit of your Recovery Agent though I paid Rs. 300/- for Sept.’2013 visit through which I came to know regarding the things and are apprehensive that in case it was not brought to my notice, I would have never been able to adjust /repay my loan account as three to four such defaults shall be sufficient to erode my entire monthly EMI without any adjustment towards Principal Amount as there will never be any information/efforts from your office to alert the borrower and situation shall be most happier for your side. For borrowers like me such a scenario would never be better than Sahukars /Mahajans of gone days of our past.

          Keeping in view of the above, you are requested to kindly arrange to provide me following information to me under Right to Information Act (For the purpose IPO for Rs.10/- enclosed):-
          In respect of additional interest charged on 04/08/2012, 03/09/2012, 03/10/2012, 02/11/2012, 03/12/2012, 02/01/2013, 02/02/2013, 02/03/2013, 03/04/2013, 03/05/2013, 04/06/2013, 02/07/2013, 03/08/2013, 03/09/2013, provide me date wise details of efforts made by your office to intimate me about the additional interest being charged every month in my loan account though EMI was regularly being paid during consecutive months. How come I know about manipulation being done in my account in arbitrary manner and how borrower would be able to take corrective measures if any required as per your books/standards?
          What are intimations made on above dates through Registered letters/E-mails/Statement of accounts/Recovery Agent (Charges being payable by borrower for such visits), if so, kindly arrange to provide me date wise details.
          Only in Sept.’2013 recovery agent was deputed to my place and informed about such misappropriation in my account. I was made to pay recovery agent charges for Rs.300/-, which I paid vide referred cheque. Why Recovery Agent was deputed only after silently charging Additional Interest for continuous 15 months on single EMI amount even though interest @11.90% was being charged on entire O/S amount as well. Fees of Recovery Agent are always paid by borrower, then why such laxity & lapse on your part?
          In case, above intimations about Additional Interest being charged every month were duly made to me, I would have approached payee Banker timely for remedies/compensation in the matter and have protected my interest.
          In the interest of 100% transparency of transactions in my both loan accounts ([protected] & [protected]), kindly confirm whether any additional interest /penalty other than above has ever been levied in any manner in my accounts. This information is required for my perusal/ information as NO Monthly/Quarterly/Half Yearly/Yearly statement/E-statement is issued/made available to me. In case any Additional Interest/Penalty is levied for what so ever reason, details should be provided invariably.
          Whether any enquiry is felt necessitated by yourgoodself towards misbehavior made with me in your office (Sapru Marg branch) on 29/09/2013 so as to defend the image of your institution?
          In meantime I am contemplating takeover of my loan accounts by other financial institution and would be compelled in case justice is not prevailed upon and necessary reversals are not made in my said loan account. Besides, I shall be forced to take necessary legal & corrective measures befitting my interest in the matter.

          Sir,

          I have been in regular follow up with LIC Housing Finance Limited as for one EMI of Rs. 10, 500/- (Aug.’2012) over Rs. 4000/- has been charged in my account without any efforts /intimation from LIC HFL towards adjustment of that EMI (Aug.’2012) though during all subsequent months, EMIs have been regular and timely. Here, I submit that though there was sufficient balance in my account but LIC HFL failed to intimate me so that I may take up the issue with my banker as well have deposited that EMI. On the other hand LIC HFL kept mum all the times and preferred/continued to charge penal interest every month as above. Only in Sept.’2013 Recovery Agent visited my place and whole episode came to my notice.

          I humbly submit whether such practice on the part of LIC HFL is justified and fail to understand whether availing loan from subsidiary of LIC (Govt. Of India Undertaking) has been a crime for which I have been made to suffer in such an unscrupulous manner (charging penal interest every month for one EMI default without any intention of borrower as there was sufficient balance in account, only payee banker was at fault and no intimation was made to the borrower regarding penal interest being charged every month. All subsequent EMIs are paid in my account on due date.)? One can well imagine the horrific situation for the borrowers in case there have been such defaults for more than two or three EMIs. Entire EMI well be eroded and there will be full O/S despite regular EMIs in subsequent months. Moreover, they are regularly charging interest @ 11.90% on my entire O/S balance including that one so called defaulted EMI (Aug.’2012).

          No sensible person will like such default and charging of repeated penal interest in his account, in case it is intimated to him properly and with intention to safe guard the interest of the borrower. Here, LIC HFL has not only miserably failed but intentionally kept the borrower in dark.

          For default of one EMI of Rs.10, 500/- (for no fault of mine & without any proper intimation) I have been made to pay Penal Interest for Fourteen continuous months, Recovery Agent charges of Rs.300/-, Bank charges of Rs.200/-, which is never in the interest of borrowers and against ethics of banking.





          Besides, attitudes of LIC HFL personals have been highly arrogant towards its customers and un-becoming of professionalism. I was insulted in their office on 29/09/2013 which I brought to notice of their higher authorities but nothing has been done as yet.

          I most humbly request you good self to kindly look into the matter and please ensure that justice is prevailed upon by way of refund of additional interest charged arbitrarily in my account.

            Hi, I bought one LIC policy from LIC agent Amit Bansal in Pune. He has taken check from me and send the first premium receipt of that through mail. But I didn't get my LIC policy document. Many times I call this agent asking for policy document, he always says the same thing I have sent out the doc through courier, you will get in a week.Till now I didn't get my policy.             I just screwed up with LIC. Recently I came to know that it is Delhi Cannaught Place Branch (Brach- 120) from where my policy was issued. I contacted them through email and phone, but these guys are so busy in making money by selling there policy that they don't have time to look into customers issue.
            These insurance agents behave like your own brother when they offer there policy, and after selling you are just strangers to them.ge

Currently i am in Foreign country (Ethiopia) and i am not in a position to come in a person to collect provisional statement.When i tried to use website it shows "Email id not Registered" I have sent mail to LIC Anna nagar branch more than three times and i contacted them on phone also, but no one is responding properly.                       I have availed LIC policy number[protected]Jeevean Anand) in the month of March-2013. In the initial proposal they (+91 [protected] got a call from this number) offered medical insurance card for 3 members for 50, 000 INR/ Annual premium. After availing the policy I never got updated about the insurance card, So I raised a compliant no.: [protected] in the month of May and got the reply, “we send premium paid statment to your adress, we have informed concerned development officer .the policy taken is plan 149, it is not mediclaim policy, no insurance card will be issued for that policy”. The concerned LIC officer (Named : Mr. S.Joseph antony raj. Mob no. +91 [protected]) who already collected the original documents and the initial payment (cheque) called me and informed that, “ medical insurance card in on process and you will receive the same within a month”. But I never received the Medical insurance card still now. I did ‘N’ number of follow ups, each time he replied due to some internal problem the process is delay and you will get it soon. After some time I had a verification call for the medical card from + 91 [protected] (In the month of Oct.) but still I didn’t get the insurance card with several followups. Kindly do the needful to close the policy since the benefits are not received on time. Request you to take appropriate action to close the policy without any deduction that means I have to receive the amount what I paid without any deduction.
                      Respected sir for your kind information your policy is jeevan anand and its not a mediclaim policy so because of that no any medical card will be issuing.

                          Dear Sir / Mam, My name is Shivakumar S Kanavi. My LICHFL Loan account number is[protected]. My Customer ID is 18442752. Loan Saction date : 26th June 2012. Loan Amount : 29, 30, 000. Initially when i had taken loan in June 2012, the ROI was 10.4% and I had opted for Floating scheme as suggested by LICHFL person Mr. Jagadish and Mr. Gopi from Jayanagar, Bangalore Branch. It was mentioned to me that this ROI will remain same till 3 months and then update as per RBI status. Suddenly after 3 months, my ROI went to 12 %. I was shocked because when i checked with my friend, their ROI was increased to only 0.2 to 0.3 % who had taken loan at the same time, but from different LICHFL branch. I waited for some more months so that it it come down, but it didn't turned down. So, i visited the Jayanagar branch to check what is happening, there no one was responding properly and inspite they tried to confuse me by giving some or the other reasons, like go and check in NAVI websites, etc...I asked them to show me that how they calculate the ROI and where is the record of change in ROI which they have refered to change my Interest rates, but no one helped me out. Even I was not intimated about the EMI amount to be deducted as I has chosen TRANCH EMI scheme. I am also really frustrated by calling these guys to just come and collect the Demand Letter from the Builder. Nobody will pick the call. Even when we have paid the service charges, processing charges, etc no one is there to take care now. So, I want know the each and every detail of the ROI what the LICHFL has added to my account for every month and how it has been calculated for every month from June 2012 till now Jan 2014. And I just want to know from past 1.4 Years why my ROI is 12% with proof. I want the compensation amount with interest for whatever the LICHFL has wrongly charged to my account and what I have paid extra to LICHFL. Thanks & Regards, Shivakumar S Kanavi [protected]

                          LIC HOUSING FINANCE LIMITED IS A CHEAT COMPANY. I HAVE APPLIED FOR AHOUSING LOAN THROUGH A FINANCIAL ADVISOR, AND THEY HAD ASSURED FOR SANCTION WITHIN A PERIOD OF 2 WEEKS, BUT TILL DATE ABOUT 45 DAYS HAVE ELAPSED, NEITHER LOAN HAS BEEN SANCTIONED NOR REJECTED AFTER SEVERAL ENQUIRIES. THOUGH WHATEVER DOCUMENTS WERE ASKED EACH AND EVERY DOCUMENT HAS BEEN SUBMITTED, BUT IT SEEMS THAT THE STAFF ALONGWITH REGIONAL HEAD DOES NOT KNOW ABOUT BANKING.                             I paid Rs. 592 in the month of November (As usual the computers were not working and i got hand written receipt on LICHFL receipt pad) to get list of documents that you procure against my housing loan A/c. After 2 months, i did many follow-up(In-person and on email) but there is no response from LICHFL side. Request to provide list of documents that you procure against my housing loan A/c.                               I am govt employee. and i was making decision of take loan from LICHFL. As many private firms are also giving sanction loan to a govt. employee very easily and cheques issued without any trouble. but instead of that I approach LICHFL Office at Sector-22 chandigarh. Firstly, Company agent ( Bhupinder Singh) gave false statemnts to me and signed the Documents neceesary for loan sanction.
                              After loan has been sactioned, First Cheque issued, after 20-25 days submitting all the necessary documents.(they told me 7-10 days after documents submission). When i ask for reason, Staff ( Ms. Mandeep Kaur) said its only because verification of documents took time and second cheque will be issued in 7 days or early.
                              Second cheque issued again after 15-20 days. Staff ( Ms. Mandeep Kaur) said valuer took time to reach us. I here want to mention I gave call to her just after our completion of roof. but instead Staff ( Ms. Mandeep Kaur) issue cheque less amount claiming your roof is not completed our valuer told us.
                              Third & Fourth Cheque issued again after 10-15 days.
                              I here want to mention that the behavior of whole staff is not very friendly especially ( Ms. Mandeep Kaur). They dont know how to treat the customer. One inside staff member told me you are harrased because you have not donate fees to the staff members.
                              I just want to suggest all from my personal experince, NEVER EVER CHOOSE LICHFL Office at Sector-22 chandigarh for loan.

                                      I have submitted the form for transfer of my LIC return in my account directly at 12B Branch of LIC near Jasola apollo hospital. The return was expected to be transmit by 28-Dec-2013. But it is still not transfered. I contacted customer care where i got to know that my details yet not submitted by the branch. I dont know what is the reason and no communication is made to me by mobile number or email. Why technology is not used by LIC people while they call or email. Why no intimation is given to me so that i could be updated with reason of not submitting my form. Even they have not given any acknowledgement that they have accepted the online transfer of return form. What is the way of working in LIC. I am customer of LIC since more than 10 years, but i have not seen any improvement in process of LIC while other policy companies are so quick in repsonse and such kind of activities.                                       I got reply from verma.[protected]@gmail.com that I need to send the doc by ordinary post. Isn't that strange that why NEFT is not Registered, i have submitted the form twice. But you are asking to post it once again. My return is getting delay day by day. Why should i post this document by ordinary post. When i am submitting this document by myself twice and still it is not done. I am sure if i will post it, you will say you have not received and delay my task more. I am not happy with such kind of service at all. You have made me frustrated by asking for document and form again and again.

                                      Even i had done enquiry at LIC office at same office, then they have told me that i can send the form through email too. Then why now he is asking to send through ordinary post. Isn't will delay the process more.

                                      Today technology is so advance. Why cant you accept the same on email. If i will sign and send you a scan copy, why that is not acceptable?

                                      Dear i dont need suggestions, I have already given form and checque personally visitng there in the branch, but they have lost it once. And i dont know why they didnt transfered my return second time too. Yes it's strange but true, i have yet not received my return. I am finally sure that it is my last policy with LIC company. You people will never accept your mistake and never improve the way of your work.

While Iam Paying Fee for my Agents on November 25th as a Batch for Six agents my internet payment got unsuccessful Transactions and it got debited once and it not yet got credited back to my account. Then after few minutes i made another payment and it got successful. But the payment made for the first time it not credited back to my account, Its almost one month passed.
