I have taken a loan from LIC as per below Loan Account # I have received a demand letter dated 07th January from my builder and I have approved of it on 08th January
The demand letter states this to be disbursed before 22nd January failing which I bear a penalty of Rs.77/- per day

I have received an email today 19th Jan
a. Attached is an empty document (G 14 & Promissory note) asking for signatures with interest / amount in blanks when called for details I was responded with negligence and impatience by the representative. The only option I was given is I can sign a blank document and send it to their offices through my parents or afford a risk and courier the blank documents duly signed. (decision unilaterally taken by the LIC representative without even understanding or listening to my constraints)
b. If one has to physically go to their office to sign these documents it has to be informed with prior notice, I have aged parents who cannot handle this by themselves and I have been transferred to a different state none of these procedures were informed earlier for me to set apart time and finish these procedures.
c. The Agent Kannan has not clarified or even attempted to listen while I tried to request for assistance with the above constraints I have. He is in utmost hurry to get a blank document signed by me for reasons best known to him and offered resistance when I requested for additional help he stuck to one option of me to only go by this emailer.

It is ILLEGAL to have signatures taken on a blank form, I totally disagree to absurd emailer demanding an imperative signature in blank documents. At the most when a call was placed requesting for details it was answered in the most callous manner asking to ignore the BLANKS and the same would be taken care of by LIC.

who in LIC authorizes for below such mailing activity? Does LICHFL do this activity of taking signature on blank documents? Please clarify.. secondly if one has to come in person do you all give such callous last minute information? Does the below emailer kind of information is contained in any of your terms and conditions which I failed to observe?
sir / madam, i request this to be treated with utmost sensitivity and render assistance to me i dont desire to pay penalty charges for a delay from LICHFL.

With due respect that I had taken a policy since 2001 under the policy name Jeeven Dhara,which has nature since 2011 but My agent Mr Amar nath tiwari has converted such mature amount in another policy(policy no[protected] by giving wrong information or on the behalf of mid saling
. so in this circumstances please do the needful.

I'm paying Rs.70000 as premium per year. But when I enter the policy no, "already registered" is coming and I could not proceed further to get the Premium Paid certificate.

Sir, I have purchased a policy in the name of My wife Mrs Sangita Shinde policy No.[protected]. The first pay out was due in Aug 2004. and the cheque of Rs 10,000/- has not been deleivered nor is creditted at our end , Infact we didnot know the policy is endowmwnt and has regular payouts. when we shifted to Panvel , we got next payout. I would like to ask authoritities to take up the MATTER. I have already lodged the complaints at various forums but nothing has come to my aid.

sir, i am holding a lic policy in Ernakulam branch (code 696) bearing policy no.[protected]. I have paid my Last due premium for the month of aug 12 at Ramanathapuram branch at cash counter on 08 sep 12. In the month of december when i was trying to pay my pemium of the month of nov at the same counter the cash counter clerk told me that you have to pay for the premium of sep 12 which was already paid by me. I informed to branch manager and he told me to resolve the problem. Now its more than 15 days no action is taken.

I want to transfer home loan taken from LICHF in dual rate scheme to SBI. Loan started from Nov 2011.
I have opted the following scheme.
1) First 3 years fixed 10.7% interest.
2) from 4th year till end floating rate.
In the loan outstanding statement it has been mentioned that I need to pay 2% of existing loan amount as "pre closure amount". I have submitted all the attached circular to LICHF agent but still LICHF stated that I have to pay 2% of existing loan because it is not from my own source.
Loan is going to transfer from LICHF to SBI. Since it need to consider as own source. Loan which is transferred to SBI, I only need to pay it.

if I transfer the loan from fixed to floating rate even then 2% pre closure is applicable stated by LICHF.

RBI and the National Housing Bank banned pre-payment penalties on the dual rate loans. But still I have been charged by LICHF.

I have requested the statement on 5-Nov-2012.Requesting you to help in this context. Please let me know what steps I need to take to avoid "pre closure amount" penalty.

I have had enough of LIC Housing Finance and their services. There have been mistakes right from the sanction letter upto to the EMI calculations. I have literally get into the war zone to make LIC staffs understand the problem despite the mistakes are pretty evidently seen on the documents they provided, fight to get it corrected; and the fight is at the chief of the Regional Office in Bangalore. To make them see, understand, accept and get the problem corrected is a 3rd world war.

The lady heading the branch office is such a useless woman, I wonder how she managed to get that position. She neither understands anything nor does anything.

I have been spending a lot of time and effort, phone calls, mails etc, just sick and tired of making the mistake of availing home loan from LIC. No responses from the Mumbai Head office.

I have another 13.5 years to toil with LIC, hope LIC does something to hear customer's complaints and responds. Otherwise, I would have to settle with them, pull out and go with some other financial organization. But before that, I would definitely discourage all future loanees I come across and also spread this horrific experience through all the Social Media sources.

I had taken a policy form LIC (Joint with my wife) for Rs.1,00,000/-1,76,900y is a JEEVAN SATHI (Double cover joint life plan) with profits (Withj accidents). The policy numher is[protected] and maturtiy date being 28/02/2013.

I find that upto 28/02/2012 I have paid to LIC Rs.10631X 15 = Rs.1,59,465 and the maturity amount indicated to me is Rs.1,76,900 incllusive of all bonuses for 15 years. I feel that this is very less. Even the savings bank interest of 4% works out more and every year LIC had been announcing bonus to the extent of Rs77/- to Rs.95/- per annum per thousand , where my money has gone is not clear

I am filing this piece of text just to let the people, who are thinking of applying for housing loan from LIC Housing Finance, know the shocking reality about the racket working under the mask of LICHFL(Ist Floor, K-59, Lajpat Nagar II, New Delhi-24).

My friend Mr Sebastiane who had applied for a housing loan from LICHFL Lajpat Nagar 2 on 16th of September 2012. The LICHFL executives, Mr Vikas ([protected]) and Mr Praveen ([protected]), collected the application form with supporting documents on 16th itself. After that the process of enquiry (both at his house and office) and all done as usual. There were no calls or anything from their end after that. When Sebastiane called them and asked the status of loan, they asked for more documents. Every time he called them, they repeated the same (more document). 40 days passed like that. Whenever we contact them, we got the reply "It's done, you will get the approval today evening/tomorrow evening, the officer is hospitalised, my dadaji hospitalised so i could not collect the paper" etc. At last one day we visited their office at Lajpat nagar-2. There we got the shocking response from their end. Again they started the old drama, asking for documents, We need this paper that paper etc. Even after submitting all the documents they asked for, they started on reducing the loan amount From 20 Lacs to 12.5 Lacs.

At last the day came, the executives Vikas and Praveen came Sebastiane's home with lots of documents along with approval letter. Sebastiane signed All the documents, Gave them Rs 5000 as their personal charge along with signed cheques along with a Rs 12,000/- cheque on favour of LICHFL. They assured us that the Loan cheque would be ready in 2 days. That 2 days extended to 2 weeks. This time they came with another drama. They said Sebastiane should close on of his personal loan which deducts an EMI of 4300/month from his account.

In short, they have taken our quality 75 days and put us in a real hell. At last we took back all the documents and cheques given and said Good bye to LICHFL. We lost plenty of time, around 17-20 thousand Rupees, and peace for sometime.

So friends, if you thinking of applying for Housing loan, please Keep away from LICHFL.

By doing such things with 10 customers in a month, LICHFL (Officers) can earn more than 1.2 Lacs without paying a penny.
