LIC OF INDIA — Adjustment of premiums

1.I Mrs. Sherly George an employee of Medical & Health Deptt. Rajasthan taken an policy No.[protected] under salary saving scheme in March 2006 from LIC of India, branch 325, Tripolia Bazar, Jaipur.

2. The premium of policy has been deducting every month from my salary but it could not be adjusting in the policy account due to wrong transfer of master.

3. I did not received the policy bond till date.

4. In this regard I made my all the best efforts at various level, but I could not got any positive response.

I have applied for a loan amount of Rs.18 lacs last month. I have paid a 50% amount on the total processing fee i.e Rs.5515/- vide the cheque no.310834 dt.20/7/10 drawn on Andhra Bank, Mylapore, Chennai - 4.

But I came to know that only Rs.16 lacs is sanctioned for me. With this I will not be able to purchase the flat and hence I have dropped the project.

I request you to kindly refund my processing fee amount at the earliest. I need the fund very badly as my father is in serious condition. He needs to undergo an operation immediately. I request you to kindly consider my case as a special one and do the needful as early as possible.

LIC Housing Finance Ltd Indore — Non Refund of Processing Fee

Please help as I am not getting Refund of my Home loan processing fee from LIC Hosing Finance ltd.

Agent sushil mantri has taken the processing fee of Rs. 5512 saying that it will be refunded back to you if you do not take loan from LICHFLdue to any reason. Its only because of his repeated verbal confirmation I have given him the cheque of processing fee.

Please go thru the following mail to understand my case in which both agent & marketing people of LICHFL has hided the fact of actual rate of interest applicability after 3 months of disbursement of loan from 8.75 % to 10.25% (LHPLR 13%-2.75% spread).

I was given verbal information of ROI to be 8.75 % but I don't have this confirmation in writing from these people that ROI is 8.75%. These people have always talked on phone and there is no single mail or in writing any communication from their side until I have given the Processing Fee cheque.

When sanction letter is issued to me only from that letter & terms conditions booklet I came to know the above underlined fact Now these people are refusing to give the processing Fee back to me.

I feel to be cheated by LICHFL staff & their Agent so kindly help me in getting the Refund.

As discussed with you please find my application for Refund of above Processing Fee being taken by not clarifying the Rate of Interest & wrong commitment (Refund will be given in case of Not taking Loan from LICHFL) of your Agent Mr. sushil mantri.



This is with reference to my application dtd 07.04.2009 under Griha Prakash scheme for Transfer of Home loan from HDFC bank to LICHFL. I have applied for this loan transfer only considering benefit of Interest to move from 10.5 % of HDFC to 8.75 % of LICHFL (as committed by LICHFL officers).



Prior to this application there was verbal confirmation by Mr. Sushil Mantri to me that Rate of Interest for the transfer will be 8.75 % in my case and he did not tell me that this 8.75% rate will be only for the first 3 months and later ROI will be LHPLR - 2.75 % i.e 13-27.75 % = 10.25 % as per clause 2.2 (a) of the terms & conditions booklet. The same has also not been communicated by Mr. Aadesh also when I was submitting my documents to him during the first week of April09 . If this information is known to me during my correspondences & verbal communication with sushil Mantri & Aadesh then I would not have applied for the transfer on 07.04.09.Since there is a clear cut loss with the above figures of ROI in transfer from HDFC to LICHFL and if timely informed I would not have even applied for the transfer of loan. Pls see the trainling mail in which I have enquired with Mantri for benefits arising of transfer to LICHFL in 20 Yr & 15 Yr option and my interest in going with 15 Yr option otherwise not to take the loan with LICHFL.



The Loan sanction letter mentioning the ROI after 3 months as LHPLR - 2.75 % as per clause 2.2 (a) in the booklet is provided to me only after I have given initial processing fee cheque of Rs. 5512/- in favour of LICHFL through Mr Sushil mantri. If this was informed to me earlier I would not have given the processing Fee. Moreover the processing fee cheque has been taken with wrong commitment of Refund in case of not taking loan.



When I talked to Aadesh hes telling to claim money from Mr. mantri & when Ive spoken to mantri hes telling that money has been deposited in LICHFLs account and I need to directly take it from them.



My money is unnecessarily being blocked with LICHFL on account of not providing Information and wrong information providing for processing the loan.



So I request you to please Refund me my Processing Fee of Rs. 5512/- at the earliest.

EMI for 15yrs for Out bal of 2963454 is Rs. 29618/-

so total repayment - Rs 5331240

Net Expenses in repayment & switch = 5331240+120000 =5451240/-





Now after comparing case 1, 2 & 3, I have to take loan for 15 Yrs with ROI 8.75% with LICHFL then only there will be benifit to me otherwise as per Ist case my total repyment is lesser.



Please confirm it by today evening since I need to take decision for Switchover to LICHFL or change the ROI of HDFC & prepay them.

I too am a victim of lic housing finances mal practices. they send wrong notices and the apologise. they stop disbursement to the builder without informing me of the same - leading to the builder threatening me with repudiating of the sale agreement.

I dont really trust LIC HFL is capable of maintaining and providing proper records of the transactions with them.

I want to know about LIC Housing Finance Terms & Conditions.

Can i get upto 3 lac loan for 10 years

I totally agree with the concern. Even I am also yet to get a refund of Rs.6118/-. Initially the agent had confirmed that the amount will not be debited unless and until the loan is sanctioned. But before the loan was sanctioned, the amount had been debited. Further the loan was not sanctioned by them. I am still fighting to get the money back, virtually writing a mail daily to them. This happened in LICHFL office, JP Nagar, Bangalore. The agent name is Vinay of Akshaya Consultants ( JP Nagar, Bangalore ). Anybody who goes for the loan from LICHFL, pl don't go by this agent's words.

I would like to invite your kind attention to the following few lines
as under :

I have purchased a brand new Bajaj Discover 135 DTSI motor cycle
no. MP09 MS 4457, from M/s. Rukmani Bajaj, LIG Chouraha, Indore,
on cash purchase basis.

After two months it has become a burdon for me as the bike was
not running properly and giving always tension, as engine disorder,
makes extra ordinary sounds from the engine, battery failure, lights are
also not functioning properly. Milage was also very poor, getting 30-35 KM
per ltr. where as the company was claiming 60 KM per ltr.

Since after two months of purchase, up to now, it has gone 20 -25 times under servicing and in warranty period also the the Company people taking charges from me. I am totally fed-up with company's attitude and non functioning
of the bike.

Kindly arrange to replace the bike or give me a suitable compensation with out any more delay and oblige.

I Abhilash Mattangot already posted transfer of my LIC Policy no[protected] from Renukoot branch (28F) to LIC of India Branch No II T C Road Thalassery Branch Code 7051. But currently not transfer above said case and change of my address, hence kindly consider it sympathetically.

I Seema Upadhyay am living in Bangalore and one of my LIC policy which was taken by my husband Major Rajesh Upadhyay Who was working in Hindalco administration and passed away in road Accident in 204 January. We sifted to Bangalore. Now the policy was in his name but my son's name also was there and the premium got waved off. I inquired here in Bangalore they told it is not transferable as person died. Now my son is turning 18 in this September 19 . I tried to call this office 100 times no one is picking up the calls only. Now I don't know what has to be done as I need to
inform them and tell them about his change of address and account numbers etc. Please let me know what has to be done and how it can be . Thank you .

Chhindwara branch .after matuarity of the policy no communiction was done by the said branch. After repited inquiry by sending a person to thebrach office Parasia no satisfactory information recieved.As I was posted at Nagpur it was verry difficult to me to visit to Parasia office frequantly.My Agent also not help me he just given me a contact no to your Bhopal office for further needfull from my end.however I contact to your office but no information was available there then i lodged a complaint on website and vide griavance no. 182070 d11/05/2009but no respons found. Than again I have contact your office and they informed me no data about your policy were sen by the concerned branch and contact to branch for sending data with an option form. I have collected option form and submited. in themonth of June 2009 but till dateI have not recieved any information.Now I have dicided to withdraw my amount deposited by me and I dont want to continue the policy.I am Also going with this issue to the Distric consumer forum at Chhindwara.

I am a ploicy holder of LIC new mony back policy with mony back later known as Jeevan surbhi/mony back policy with profit .My policy number is[protected] named Mr Ajit K Saxena, the Money back /survival benefit was due on July 2010 amount 15000. Three year back I have given written information to change of Address in LIC branch of Berasia road Bhopal.When I not received the mony back amount in the month July I have approached the LIC office and again submitted the change of address with a request to pay the DD of due amount. Money Plus — 3 premium paid but only 2 premium paid statement is available online

My policy numbers[protected],[protected] I have paid 3 premium till date 1 in 2007 2nd in 2008 and 3 in 2009. I have the all the 3 premium paid receipt in hand for both the policies, but am able to view only 2 premium paid statements online (2008 and 2009) the statement for 2007 is not available for both the policies.I would also like to know the status of the policy .In online it states the next due is in 2010 but the agent has said only 3 premium is needed after that i can withdraw the entire amount as per the market rate ...In this case i have already paid 3 premium why am i shown a due in 2010 kindly let me know the detail policy information...your help is much appreciated in this regard...looking forward to hear from you...This case is informed to agent whom i handed the cheques but he shows no interest in responding...

To get the NAV details, please check following link - http://www.licindia.com/plan_navs.htm As per my knowledge, Money+ is having 3yr locking period, and after paying premium for atleast 3 year, we can surrender this policy, and what ever fund value we have we will get it. I have checked the NAV of money + and market +, it looks like money + is not performing well compare to market +. Both are equaity ULIP policies then how there performance is different don't know.
