Dear Sir,
Re:- Representation of proposals on my life

I submitted two proposals no. 21784 and 21785 in branch 31B under Delhi Do-3 to LIC ON 5TH April 2009, out of which one was an Endowment Plan of 1 Cr Sum assured for 19 yrs and other was pure term assurance plan of 3 crore for 14 yrs, all my test of LIC have been done thru LIC TPA & at the time of medical examination, I clearly told the doctors about my abdominal operation that was carried out in 2006 in US. I also filled the form regarding my personal history of gastric and duodenal ulcer and attached it with the personal letter in which I mentioned that I do not have any document related to my operation. In spite of best efforts I have not been able to locate those reports. I underwent all the tests called for which ECG, Haemogram, SBT-13, RUA, HBa1c, CTMT, through your TPA.
According to my knowledge my all the tests were absolutely normal. Then on 12th April 2009 LIC asked me to submit the papers of my repeat LFT and the reports of my operation done in 2006 and co-operating to my fullest, I underwent LFT test and submitted my papers to LIC.
After that on 12 may 2009 there was again a demand from your side for repeat LFT accompanied by gastro intestinal disorder questionaire, an ultrasound of abdomen and papers related to my operation of 2006 of which I have been telling since beginning in all of my declarations. Also I have no objection for any other medical tests if it is demanded by LIC. After 3 weeks of submission of my reports I was told that both of my proposals have been declined by LIC. I was surprised by the decision of LIC that even though all my medical checkups had been conducted thru LIC TPA and that too thrice and in spite of all my satisfactory tests/reports, LIC declined my proposals just because of the fact that I have not submitted the reports and documents of my operation of 2006.
Here, I would like to request that I should be apprised of the reason as to why my proposals have been declined. In case term assurance is not allowed to me, I am willing to accept endowment assurance under any plan, SA & term. I am also willing to bear extra premium, if any.
In this contemporary insurance industry where there is stiff and hard competition companies like Birla Sun Life, Max New York are approaching me again and again but because I have strong and immense faith in LIC, I am willing to fully co-operate with this reputed organisation

    This is to inform that i am having a policy in LIC OF INDIA, policy no..[protected] branch of District BAGHPAT.But this year cheques of my policy which i should recieved upto march not recieved yet.i dont know what is the reason for that.i had given countless reminders to the concerned branch manager of baghpat, but there is no response for that.I m a pensioner who is not that much strong to go even outside of my house.i told many times to concerned person but not any response.

    Sub Non payment of 1st cheque of Money Back Policy no[protected]

    I have a Money Back policy vide no[protected] and I submit my premiums regularly through my agent. Though my all payments are update, I have not yet receive my cheque of 1st instalment of the policy in the year 2003 which I noticed during receiving of my 2nd instalment cheque in the year 2008. The matter has been told to my agent but no action taken so far.
    Now my question is
    1. Whether the cheque of my 1st instalment was issued? if so why it was not came to me?
    2. Please send me the status of the Money Back policy no[protected] showing how the money of the 1st instalment adjusted..

      LIC housing finance is a fraud company. they will cheat you like anything...don't think that this is govt. bank . I took loan of 50 lacs from vashi branch. Initially i was told by agents that interest rates will be low because of some offer. BUT OFFER IS THERE ONLY FOR 3 MONTHS WHICH I CAME TO KNOW AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION...GO TO CANARA BANK OR BANK OF BARODA...MY FRIENDS TOOK IT FROM THEM. ATLEAST WHATEVER THEY SAY THEY PROVIDE YOU...They don't cheat like LIC housing finance company...
      agreed...lic housing finance is big fraud...vashi branch is the biggest...never believe these people...these agents...they will lure you with low interest rates first but suddenly they will increase it...
      It is ridiculous that a company with the name tag of LIC is doing like that.

        Dear Sir,
        I am an employee of Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. I have a policy by LIC and amount deposited through Salary Saving Scheme (SSS) form IIT Kanpur pay roll. The policy started on April’2009 and to till date, I have not received the Policy Bond. The policy details given below:

        4. Per Month Installment: Rs.745/-
        NOT RECEIVED POLICY BOND

            We the Rajpal family have applied for a housing loan on the names of my brother Kamlesh Rajpal (NRI) and Meena Rajpal a housewife who lives with me and my dad in Mumbai. The loan has been applied with appropriate documentation (all as requested by LIC India) and has been approved with the sanction letter in hand. After 3 months of struggle with as minimum as 3 visits a day to the LIC office everyday, and face all possible embarrassment of hearing our documents being lost, to the officers being on unpaid leave without notice, them not picking up our phone calls, LIC office in thane not having a workable PC for processing the loan...we finally at the end of the third month last week had a sanction letter from them. And now the loan as per the officers will take another month before we get the cheque as they are demanding a power of attorney from the society of the building which they dont have. Besides, the reason given to us is that post issuing the sanction letter some officer might now wake up to do the research on our documents and the property to see if all is in order which will take a month.

            Can someone help us get us our new home by helping us get the cheque from this (as well known always for its attitude and style of working) govt organisation LIC? our file no is 407908 with LIC

              Subject :- Violation of Fundamental rights and civil liberties being imposed by constitution of India, by your esteemed Institution., a Government organization .

              Respected Sir,
              With due regards, With a very deep heart pain and agony, I have the honour to submit that at Bikaner ( Rajasthan ) 10A Branch, the Managerial staff is misusing the powers rendered to them. In this context, I Submit that my Policy No.[protected] matured on 20.5.2007. I received the discharge form timely and I immediately informed the Branch Manager, that due to unforeseen circumstances, it is not possible to furnish original policy Bond at this time and due payment may be paid to me or to be re invested in any other scheme of LIC, So that I should not be deprived of Interest accrued on the maturity value of my policy., but he promised that I will not loose any monetary loss., and I was Directed to furnish the original policy Bond, when ever possible.
              I submitted the desired documents on 22.6.09, and was told by executive that in 3-4 days I will receive the cheque. Then I came to know that my policy has been forwarded for right off, that too without giving any information to me. I made my personal efforts to the extent that Sky is only the limit. I further add the Cheque No. 501713 dated 15.7.2009 was issued and was dispatched to me vide No.14598 dated 1.8.2009 that I received today only. No Interest was paid to me .
              LIC enjoyed the money for 26 months and I got only the same amount that violated the fundamental rights of mine and violation of civil liberties being guaranteed by constitution., Hence forth I am knocking you door to get released the interest on Rs. 97, 800.00 in 21 days of receipt of this letter., otherwise I will be forced to knock the door of Hon’ble court and whole liability will be yours . Secondly At my level till matter is solved in my favor, I am withdrawing my all policies with you and in protest my near relations policies too.
              Hoping a favorable action at your end at the earliest.

              sir, I fully agree. It is the routine of LIC of India. They are the careless executives at the offices, who dont know fundamental rights. LIC is totally at falt. One must not opt for LIC, as number of cases I know are that of non payment. They are just " MOT KE SODAGAR "
              I HAVE FULLY SYMPATHY WITH YOU, OTHERWISE DON't hesitate in taking the LIC to the court.

IN PUBLIC THERE ARE SO MANY COMPLAINTS OF THIS TYPE WHICH WE HAVE TO FACE IN THE FIELDS HENCE, BEING A AGENT OF LIC, I APPEAL THE ORGNIAZATION TO RESOLVE TE ISSUE IN FAVOR OF MR. RAGHAV . DONT TURNISH THE IMAGE OF LIC WHICH IN TURN REFLECTS OUR BUSSINESS.
              Mukesh Raghav is absolutely right. I admire his decision, It is totally a shame on the part of LIC. At your fourm please do a favor for Mr. Raghav
              I paid the premium of my policy on 05/10/2009. But i cannot view/print my online receipt.
              The staff and officers are noncoperative at this branch.They are not bothered about policy holders after policy is taken .

                I have invested in jeevan akshay imidiate annuity scheme.My policy No is[protected].

                as i was out of the country, i could not submit my chq. no. "209245" dt. 01/05/09 to my bank as it is mentioned that the validity is for three months only.
                what do i do now.
                i am in kolkata and my processing LIC unit is in Munbai/thane.
                pl advice
                I have invested in imidiate annuity scheme.My policy No is 610387 and annuity No. OS-37779-M-30
                I have not received annuity cheques from july09 nor ECS mandate is updated.

                LIC Jeevan Akshay — Non receipt of Claim

                I have sent claim of 3 LIC Jeevan Akshay policies in 29.07.2009. Policies Nos[protected],[protected] and[protected]. Status of claim is not being advised by the branch
                I had the same problem. I did not receive my monthly annuity which was supposed to be credited directly to my bank account. Being abroad, I would not have known about this. The issue has been straightened out now, but only because I happened to return to India in a few months and discovered this.

                LIC barely escaped a lawsuit, as I had all the evidence of a breach of contract on their part. My lawyer even told me be would not charge me anything as he would claim it all from LIC.

                Well, what do you expect from a government of India undertaking? Maybe we should follow the Indian standard of bribing to get our LIC annuity paid to us.

                My policy was registered at the LIC office in Margao, Goa State

                  my refund amount was 3255.00 my receipt no is 31204413

                  YET I HAV NOT RECEIVED MY REFUND AMOUNT .
                  ITS BECOME TWO YEARS LATE WHY MY REFUND AMOUNT IS NOT COMING.

                      Reg: Various irregularities / anomalies in Insurance Policies-
                      Regularization / activation and transfer thereof

                      I am holder of following polices of your esteemed Company:

                      (Premium is deposited from my own a/c in all the above)

                      I had taken the aforesaid policies from your Buxar branch (BO: 502) when I was working and posted in Bihar. I was transferred to Varanasi in 2002 and therefrom to Gorakhpur in 2006.

                      On facing problems in depositing premia and receiving SBs (where applicable), I had requested your Buxar branch firstly on 06.09.05 to transfer all these policies to your CBO-3 (28R), Mint House, Nadesar, Varanasi branch. And, since then I am continuously following (and to utter surprise on outstanding services being rendered by your good branches / offices, I’m still following and still facing lots of problems) to transfer these policies in order to continue the policies regularly. Hundreds of phone calls have been made by me to your no. of officers, to quote; Sh. Anil Kr. Sinha (Mob.no-[protected]), Sh. R.M. Prasad (Mob-[protected] (both stands transferred from your Buxar branch) and one Sh. Khan (still working there) and even CRM, Patna, but all in vain. Whenever I requested over phone I was replied that either MAN is (was) not working or data/documents have not been transferred / received. I again sent a Regd. letter dt. 31.07.07 to your CM, Buxar branch, under copy to Div. Manager, Patna vide Regn. No. 5180 and 5179 dated 01.08.07 respectively to rectify the irregularities, besides talking over phone to CRM, Patna but desired result could not be given. Even, some of my colleagues from Buxar also visited / contacted your Buxar branch for the work but….. Matter was also taken up with your BO: 28-R, Varanasi without any fruitful result.

                       BO: Buxar informed me vide their letter dt. 02.03.06 that they are transferring policies no.[protected] and[protected], AND Policy no.[protected] vide their letter dt.18.12.06, to 28-R, Varanasi
                       BO: 28 R, Varanasi vide their letters dt. 28.04.06 & 21.02.07 informed me that Policy nos.[protected] and[protected] respectively have been transferred to them from BO: Buxar.

                      But still a no. of irregularities are there. Some of the anomalies being given hereunder:

                      1. Policy No:[protected]: I had deposited the regular premium for H/Y Sep. 05 through cheque. When, on 21.03.06 I deposited the premium for Mar.06 at Varanasi, it was again appropriated against the premium for Sep. 05 showing premium due for Mar.06 and since then this policy was technically irregular from LIC side as I could not deposit the premiums on regular basis only due to LIC. Anyhow, this policy could be regularized only in Mar.09 by paying Rs. 982/ by me as fine without any fault from my side.
                      2. Policy No:[protected]: The policy was regular till Jun 2007 when I deposited Rs. 2566/ premium on 12.06.07 at your 29F, Gorakhpur branch. But when, in June 08 I tried to deposit the annual premium at Gorakhpur and thereafter at Varanasi it could not be deposited due to some technical problem with data at 28R Varanasi branch and the June 07 premium was also showing unpaid. After taking up the matter with your Varanasi (28R) and Gorakhpur (29F) branches through letters / e-mails and telephonic requests, the matter could be resolved partially, as neither I have received the SB of Rs. 7500/ due in June 08 till date nor am able to deposit the premium for Jun.09, only your branches know the reason.
                      3. Policy No:[protected] and[protected]: Where these policies stand in your records I am not able to know till date, as a result I could not deposit the premiums since long.


                      In view of the foregoing, I request you as under:

                       Transfer all the above policies to your 29 F, Ratan Palace, Gorakhpur branch (and not to Varanasi 28R branch) immediately so as to deposit the premiums.
                       Refund or appropriate Rs. 982/ illegally charged fine as above because I am not at fault in anyway.
                       Waive all the late fines in other policies i.e[protected] and[protected] because I am not at fault in anyway. I have always tried to deposit the premiums.
                       Arrange to send the SB immediately in respect of policy no[protected] alongwith interest thereon from June 08, besides waiving late fine since June 08.

                      In case my complaints are not redressed immediately and satisfactorily I will be compelled to approach any suitable legal forum.

                      Further in case of any casualty on my wife, or me ONLY LIC will be responsible.

                      Reg: Non-deposit of amount in the policy, premium of which already deposited with LIC.

                      I am a policy holder bearing No[protected]. I had deposited the annual premium of Rs. 2566/ on 12.06.07 with your 29F, Alahadadpur, Gorakhpur branch, but the amount is still not being shown in my policy and it is showing as unpaid due to which I'm unable to deposit the annual premium since June 08 for the period June.08. No. of times my friends have visited your branch and myself at BO: 29F, Gorakhpur for depositing the premium but in vain.

                      I have also not received Survival Benefit, which was / is already due in June 08, till date.

                      It is also worth mentioning that I had several times written to LIC, BO: Buxar (502) to transfer the above policy to BO: 28R, Mint House, Nadesar, Varanasi for further servicing, now I have been informed that the policy has been transferred to your office by BO: Buxar (502), and BO: 29F, Gorakhpur has also rectified the anomaly i.e the premium deposited on 12.06.07 has been corrected.

                      I, therefore, request you to look into the matter, and do the needful at the earliest, merge / rectify the data at yours to enable me to deposit the premium.

                      Further, since I'm not at fault in depositing the premium, hence late fine since June 08 be waived, besides sending the S.B amount by 31.01.09 failing which I will be compelled to approach suitable forum.

                        dear sir,
                        i submit proposer deposited of Rs. 8640/- on dated 31/03/2004 and doc. no. 13697. therefore this policy is not done for some reason, therefore i submit an application for refund money on dated 5/02/2009. then the amount is refunded on dated 29/07/2009 without giving any interest of Rs. 8640/- for the years.
                        therefore i request you to give the interest of the deposited amount from the last 5 years from the date 31/03/2004. to 29/07/2009. so inquire the matter and reply me as soon as possible.

                            I am having one Pension Policy. It was being operated in Warora Branch of L.I.C., Distt:-Chandrapur, Maharashtra, The Annuity of the Policy had vested on 23/01/2006. 25% of Notional Cash value had been received by the undersigned from Warora Branch and Option “F” had been opted for. Quarterly Pension had been started from 23/01/2006 and on that basis; I had received some post-dated cheques from the concerned Authorities covering period up to January, 2008. Cheques were being deposited on my S/B A/c and were being regularized at par. But during June’07, I was transferred from W.C.L. to M.C.L. Sambalpur. Accordingly, the Policy was transferred to Burla Branch (Branch Code: -59 D), Distt. Sambalpur.Cheques bearing No.106259 dtd. 01/08/2007 for Rs. 427.00 and 106261 dtd. 01/02/2008 for Rs. 427.00 of State Bank of India, Dividend Warrant Division, Mumbai Main Branch had been sent to the Western Zonal Office of L.I.C. Mumbai along with my letter dtd. 19/11/07 for further needful at their end. But, the Asstt. Secretary (I.P.P. Cell, WZ) had sent the cheques to kolkata office along with his letter no. WZO/ IPP Cell Dtd.2-1-2008 with a copy to the undersigned for providing further services from kolkata. so many letters had been written to different aurhorities for the fiollowing.
                            1. Payment of Rs. 427.00 for the period from May’07 to July’07 against Cheques bearing No.106259 dtd. 01/08/2007 for Rs. 427.00 and Payment of Rs. 427.00 for the period from Nov.’07 to Jan.’08 against Cheques bearing No. 106261 dtd. 01/02/2008 for Rs. 427.00 and Payment of pension from the period of February’08 onwards till February’09.

                                Dear Sir,
                                I have taken housing loan from LICHFL Patna Area office in July-2008 as per following details:
                                Loan Amount: Rs: 8.0 Lacs.
                                Payment terms: 20 years.
                                Interest rate:10.5% floating.
                                EMI:7984.00
                                Post dated ch. up to July-09 deposited by me to LICHFL.
                                Interest rate was revised by LICHF in Oct-08 and accordingly intimation letter was sent to me for revised EMI from Rs:7984.0 to 8289.0 per month.Present interest rate is 9.5% but LICHFL insisting for EMI of Rs:8289.0 per month. But LICHFL has not revised my EMI as per revised rate of interest i.e.9.5%. Further, LICHFL has charged levy @2% on principal repayment made by me after locking period of six month. This was not stated by LICHFL at the time of sanctioning loan to me.

                                I feel LICHFL officials of Patna Area office has cheaed me by providing wrong and incomplete information.


                                Kindly take up my matter suitably with LICHFL.

                                  Hi,

                                  Recently my father was passed away, he has two LIC policies. One is of 4laks and other one is 3laks. 4lak policy is about to mature in an year and other 3lak one was just started a year ago. So our LIC agent said 4lak policy will clear in short time but other 3lak(which is started recently) may take little longer time as it is recently started and they may do some inquiry. Few days back 4lak policy was cleared, so my mom went to LIC office to receive the cheque, the office at LIC office forced her to sign for a 1.5lak security bond. First he said it is rule that when you taking money after mature or deceased you have to invest atleast half of the money in LIC. As we have to clear all our loans she refused to do that. He threatened her saying he will make other remaining policy withdraw complicated with so many queries. After an hour of arguments she has no choice other than signing the document for 1.5lak bond. He said we can not cancel that bond untill three years, as we have to clear all our loans we are worried.

                                  We are very upset with this situation, as we though that LIC is a life savior, I am help less now. How can I proceed to make a complaint against him so that some one can take some action on him?

                                    your maturity cheques are written in a very careless manner now-a-days. In June this year we got two cheques from LIC Market Plus ; one in my name Kasturi Roy Chowdhury and the other in my husband's name Asesh Roy Chowdhury. Both were of amount 16304/-

                                    My husband's cheque had to be returned for correction as the branch name was incorrect.
                                    My cheque which was deposited in the SBI Jadavpur branch has also come back to me for it was ovewritten in places and not duly signed. Over and above bank has debited an amount Rs 75/- as service charge.
                                    Advice me what i should do with this cheque? How can i get hold of these signatories?

                                      I had applied for a home loan from Thane office from executive Mr Subhash.
                                      I had applied in the month of May 2009 and got the sanction letter on 16th June 2009. Today is the 23rd of July 2009 and the disbursment is still not done. The executive Mr Subhash is avoiding my calls and wants me to follow up on my own. He is asking me to call his Manager and follow up.
                                      Is this the way LIC functions ? Do they harass customers in this way ? I want a solution to this problem as soon as possible because its been 2 months and still there is no reply from LICHFL.
                                      Regarding this mail which was sent on the 17th of july, LIC had asked the thane Manager to revert with the status. Mr Herlekar has been in contact with me for the same but is not able to give any sattisfactory reply. He had told me that i will be getting the cheque on 21st july but still there is no trace.
                                      Today i have been calling him from morning and he is not picking up his cell. Because of LIC's delay I have to incur aloss of 2, 75, 000. The reason being I had finalised a flat which was costing 20 Lacs, but because of the delay the deal got cancelled and i had to take another flat which is costing me 2.75 Lacs. Is LIC going to pay the difference ? I don't think so. But then even after giving all the required documents which was submitted on the 8th of july 2009 there is no revert from LIC.
                                      Please look into the matter.

                                      I totally agree with Mr.Mahesh, we also submitted our file to LICHFL on 6th June;09 but still not received sanction letter or any information on our aligibility to take loan of amount 13.5 lacs.

                                      After submitting the file with complete paper on 6th June'09 to the LIC agent Mr.Vinod Jaywant at thane...our verification was completed by 22nd June...afterword the file is supposed to be given to area manager for sign but till 10 july it was lying at the desk of the agent without any reason... after continous follw-up it was given to the area manager on 10th July...we always misguide by the staff of LIC upon the file status...adn till now we have nothing in hand...now we have only option to go a private bank because we have done the registration on trusting the word of LIC agent...if any one want the loan from LIC please find a good agent not like Mr.Vinod Jaywant...

                                      I have also suffered from Mr. Subhash, the worst caring person @ its customers. I also applied for home loan with all complete documents in May 2009. But still till 31st July 2009 i have not received any sanctiion letter. Belive me i have called him till now for hoping 112 times. for same issue, out of which 70% time he has not answered my calls.
                                      Finally He told me to follow up on my own with area manager. I did that also, but i found he is also not different than subhash.

                                      LIC HFL Not providing any clarity on the Home loan status.
                                      I applied for home loan through LIC HFL in Aug 2011.I completed all my formalities
                                      Now I am just waiting that someday the amount will get dispersed.
                                      The person is not picking up my phone.
                                      I am already late by 1 month.
                                      They have taken my original documents also .I cannot even apply in another bank.Moreover if I do it will again take a months time atleast.
                                      I want to know is there any way of filing complaint against them .I am undergoing a mental tension.Penalty will be levied on me if I will not be able to pay instalment on time.

                                        Dear Sirs,

                                        Name: NISHA NIKAM - FILE NO. 407825

                                        I have already received sanction letter from LIC on 17th June 2009 which took nearly 2 month after submitting all the relevant documents.

                                        My File no is:407825 and submitted all balance documents in second week of May 2009, however was assured of loan disbursement by 10 days.

                                        however i have not yet received my loan sanction amount cheque. My lic agent Mr.Sudhir Lokhande has been assuring me since last 15 days to give cheque every other day...but have not received anything yet. My file is in process either in your vashi office or thane office.

                                        My home builder is repeatedy pressuring me to give the amount or levying interest on me... I am really in trouble..there is no response on your thane, vashi and fort office, where phone is continously ringing but on one picking up the phone...

                                        also as per assurance from agent, I have already left my rental flat & staying with my relatives. ... my electronic equipments & other household items are lying in a godown where there is water logging & rats. I am really in trouble and in bad time only due to LIC 's bad processing and idling in procedures...

                                        kindly requesting give a good response and action at earliest...
