On Aug 19 2023, I bought a gold package from MB to put my home under rent. However, 90% from starting date I got fake calls. The most awful situation was that, I got a call from a person named ‘Akshay kumar’ mentioning that he want to take possession of my property and when I realised he’s fake, I blocked him.

However that didn’t end there. Because of awful MAgicBricks, I started getting all owners request to me, wherever this ‘Akshay kumar’ started requesting for rental property. Which added further frustration as I started getting messages from other owners thinking that, I’m ‘Akshay kumar’. Since I wanted to avoid any fraud on my name, I deleted my house post on 9th day as to avoid any other owner requests coming to me thinking I’m that fraudster ‘Akshaykumar’.

I did raise this complaint with MB with all evidence of the messages and requested for my refund. However MB mentioned that, while they agree that, there was a cross connection of messages sent from ‘Akshay kumar’ account to mine, but they are reluctant to pay my money back. I already lost peace because of this issue as my phone number got exposed to others through Akshay kumar account and this isn’t at all acceptable as its threat to personal identity. I need MB to act properly and pay back to the frustrations I’ve gone through.

Bottom line is they fixed this issue after a month, when the person is going through all frustrations, they never know as their app is a failure. Hence they need to compensate me for all the frustrations I’ve gone through

    Neither any email id is working, nor any contact number is working, This site is a big fraud, I have bought a digital package of 5000/- to rent out my property but the responses I am getting are bluff seems they are employees of Magic brick

      I am writing to register a formal complaint against Magicbricks.com, a property listing website, for their negligence, misrepresentation, and failure to deliver the promised services. I am seeking your intervention to address the injustices I have faced as a customer, and I am relying on the Indian Consumer Complaint Forum to provide a fair resolution.

      My complaint revolves around the services I availed from Magicbricks.com for listing my property. I engaged with their platform with the hope of attracting potential tenants and completing a seamless listing process. I provided accurate and comprehensive details about the property, including descriptions, high-quality images, and the desired rental price. Additionally, I invested in a premium listing and a Digital Marketing package, expecting enhanced visibility and quicker tenant acquisition.

      However, my experience with Magicbricks.com has been overwhelmingly disappointing. Despite following their guidelines diligently and investing considerable time and effort into optimizing my listing, I have not received the services that were promised. The lack of interest in my property listing raises serious concerns about the authenticity of Magicbricks.com's claims and the effectiveness of their platform.

      What compounds my frustration is the continuous mismanagement and the need for me to consistently initiate communication to avail the services I paid for. This lack of proactive assistance and the necessity to repeatedly follow up on services that were part of the package showcases a lack of professionalism on Magicbricks.com's part.

      My grievances reached a breaking point when I decided to cancel my property listing due to the cumulative dissatisfaction with Magicbricks.com's services. When I approached their customer support team for a refund, I was informed that there is no refund policy in place, leaving me feeling cheated and helpless.

      Despite raising multiple concerns and tickets with Magicbricks.com's support team, I have received no satisfactory response. This lack of accountability and disregard for customer feedback further exacerbates the frustration I am experiencing.

      In light of these issues, I am turning to the Indian Consumer Complaint Forum to seek redress. I implore your intervention to ensure that my complaints are addressed appropriately and that necessary actions are taken against Magicbricks.com for their negligent practices.

      I have attached relevant documentation and evidence to support my complaint, including communication records, payment receipts, and details of the services I purchased. I kindly request that you treat this complaint with the utmost seriousness and urgency, as it concerns both the financial losses I have suffered and the emotional distress caused by Magicbricks.com's actions.

        I have found pg from magicbricks name is tripathi living Navrangpura Ahmedabad. The pg owner is said that if I want to visit the pg then I have to pay deposit amount of 2000. That will be refunded if I don't like the pg. I paid 2000. Then I asked about the location and confirmation of my admission. He says that It is in under process. To verify the amount of 2000. I have to go on gpay. And add note that verification of the 2000. And says that enter the registration pin that is 35289.
        I said that if I enter that it will deduct my money. He said it will not deduct any money. It's just for verification. I avoid many times but he is continuously pressure for entering pin. I entered and my money is deducted 35, 289.
        Then he said it will refunded after 24 hours. Please wait. I trusted him from the magicbricks because it's showing verified partner.
        Now please do something for my loss of money.

          I Aready shared screen recording of the web based and magicbricks app based errors in my emails and repeated calls to Magicbricks support.
          I need Magicbricks to process my refund immediately.
          I have never been able to contact phone/whatsapp a single tenant even though I purchased a Titanium plus package of worth Rs 12, 000( Rs 6000+ with offer) on Aug 8th 2023.
          I am denied of basic service from Magicbricks and instead been defamed.
          Even though I uploaded 16+ beautiful photos of my property, I was told by Magicbricks that
          even more better photos will be uploaded by photoshoot.To my utter disappointment, The photoshoot person deleted most of my beautiful pics and uploaded crappy photos of some unfurnished home in my listing which isnot my home.As you can check the history, I already had a finished home with lights and modular interiors.Pls check your call history, how many times I tried to reach Magicbricks .This is defaming and I lost potential tenants just because I hired Magicbricks.I would go to the consumer court for Magicbricks wasting my precious money, time and resources if the refund cannot be processed immediately.

            Scammed and refund pending

            I have posted for my property to sell vide id no.68092035.
            After that I received calls from your operatives to subscribe for paid service for better response.
            To avoid any fraudsters, I used your app, which guided me to subscribe Diamond pack on Saturday and I paid Rs 3999, for it.
            However my property is still not synchronised with my diamond pack. Whenever I open the app it directs me to subscribe for the Diamond pack.
            I have complained on your app in customer support more than five times but without any positive response.
            30 minutes back I received a call from one of your operatives that I have subscribed a wrong pack and I should pay another Rs 4000 plus to get my property under silver plus plan.
            I refused and asked him to utilise my amount Rs 3999, already paid and convert it to any other plan beneficial for my property.
            I am really worried what has happened to my paid amount. If you cant use it for my property please refund it. Or please update your records and shift that amount to any suitable package equivalent to this amount.
            I am not at fault as I paid as per suggestion of your app.
            I request some one higher up in your company to take a note of this decrepancy and sort out the issue in my favour.
            If not done, I will be constrained to go to consumer forum.
            As I am fedup of non co-operation from your callers and website.

                Though I applied for your trial offer, thereafter Platinum membership, I later on
                decided not to go further and deactivated my account from your site. But due to active standing instructions, an amount of Rs. 3442.00 got debited from my credit card.
                I am now asking for refund of my hard earned money. Hope the issue gets resolved soon.

                  Hello Team,

                  I have been searching for 1 and 2 BHK property for rent in banglore HSR layout so got a listing on your website.

                  I have contatced the owner and his manager, they DUPED ME FOR 1 LAKH rupees on the basis of token money and security. After taking money from me they deleted the listing from website and also their phones are switched off now.

                  I'm attaching the listing images and also when searched again the same listing images are uploaded with different account details.

                  This is a very SERIOUS MATTER as SPAMMERS are using the website to target innocent people.

                  PLEASE HAVE A LOOK AT THIS MATTER AS POLICE WILL ALSO GOT INVOLVED.

                  Please kindly help, I belong to middle class family its a very big price.Hope you understand.

                    I booked for packers and movers service in the month of May (shifting date 3rd June) and paid ₹500 as advance amount(below is the screenshot).

                    However, magicbricks team failed to provide me the service on time and there were lot of chaos within the team (very inefficient team) due to which the service was cancelled on 3rd June 2023. The RM assigned to me was Mr. Nagendra (mobile - +91 [protected]). The person who contacted me and initialized this booking claims to be Ms. Sneha (mobile - +91 [protected]).

                    On 3rd Jun, Nagendra said he has cancelled the service and a refund would be given within 8-10 working days. I haven’t received any refund yet.
                    Upon calling Nagendra, he says he has left the organization. Ms. Sneha is not responsive since 3rd June.

                    This kind of negligence and fraudulent activity from magicbricks side isn’t acceptable.

                      On 27th of May’23 I booked Magic bricks for Packers & movers. They opened a whatsapp group with the vendor in it. They asked for all the things details and everything. They have posted everything clearly in the group which includes all the things that we have but still Shyam packers & movers brought a small tata ace like vehicle. They had to come by 6am in the morning but came around 9am and was shifting for the whole day till 12:30 in the night. The vendor person’s name is Rakesh, he sent just 3 men for the shifting. It was really hard to carry things, we was helping them. If we are doing the work why should we hire someone. Also in the process they damaged our ACs, bed made of teak wood, steel Almirah, a cloth drying stand, etc. I need full refund for those damages. Also Rakesh didn’t send anyone to install our ACs, inverter & water purifier. I tried contacting him but he didn’t answer my calls. I even told my movement manager but still no response. I had to pay 4500 rupees for each AC to fill in the gas and to weld & install them.

                          They have complete fake data about rental properties and figured out they are cheating people with the name of MB prime membership.

                            Magicbricks has fraudulently collected 100 % Refundable home loan securitydeposit Gold deposit of Rs 4999/- from me on 16.09.2022. The details areattached. They have not provided any services under the same hence I claimedrefund. They promised me refund subject to providing cibil report. Post sharingthe same they informed me they you have home loan and so it is not refundable asper Terms and Conditions The grievances are 1) Is Magicbricks entitled to collectsuch 100 % refundable deposit 2) Whether they have forfeiture rights if so whythe same has not been mentioned on the Application screen/ Payment screen orinformed by the RM They are cheating the public in the name of refundabledeposits.                               If zero or minus rating is possible I would have given that. Never book packers & movers service from them. I made a mistake by booking. No movement manager contacted me. My movement time was morning 9 am. I was not sure whether the movement will happen till 12 noon untill the vendor contacted me. After that problem started I was assured about carpenter service and accordingly quotation was increased by 1000. After reaching my place vendor said they are not informed about the carpentry service. 2000 will be charged extra. I tried to contact frontdesk number which is given in booking window. They said concerned team will contact me. Concerned team did not contact me since the booking. At time of service and payment I was not sure whom to contact. Great thing was the concern team stopped picking up vendor's call also. Now two o[censored]s left to fight the customer (me) and the vendor. Dear MB team atleast let me know whom to contact in such situation? Who was the great movement manager?
