Lineman satish mane of kalyan mseb is not responding for the breakdown in his area and he swithoff the phones, when we multiple trying him. he stately saying that he will not attending complain in next two hours as its his lunch time. such type o[censored]nresponsible person must be punished for his behaviour. we consumers are suffered due to ill staff.

Hi, I live in A/P - Pohale T. Alate, Tal - Panhala, 416229.
There is frequently power cut in our area, and when I call sub division for enquiry, no one gives me any valid reason. Because of rain, MSEB has cut down power in my area on 28/04/2022, it's been 4 days, still they have not repaired the power line, and whenever I ask, they say, it's in progress every time. I am a job person, currently working from home due to pandemic, because of this issue, I am suffering a lot, it's affecting my performance on job.

Could you please do something about it.

I have recieved high bill this month. This is not expected as the average bill has been around 800-900 for past one year. Please look into this matter urgently.

It is time to retaliate against Msedcl power cuts. Residents dwelling in Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) are not lesser mortals than their counterparts staying in Mumbai/ Greater Mumbai. MMR covers Panvel to Vashi, Airoli to Vashi, Thane to Kalyan/Karjat/ Kasara. Each citizen is entitled to uninterrupted 24x7x365 power supply. During the elections, scores of politicians queue up for votes but the elected corporators do not bother for the residents suffering such inhuman power cuts. Msedcl is managed by a bunch of Simians who dwell in caves and are misanthropes. Msedcl has been resorting to load shedding and irregular power cuts in Khanda Colony Sector 9. The residents have been suffering despite paying all their bills on time and the situation does not seem to improve.
On every Tuesday power cut is imposed by Msedcl for 9 hours from 10.00 am to 7 pm in Sector 9 Khanda Colony in Haware Vrindavan Tower ABD CHS. On 30th April 22, power cut was imposed from 6.00 pm to 8.45 pm, 9.30 pm to 10 pm, 11 45 pm to 12.15 am midnight, 29th April 22 from 10.30 am to 6.20 pm, 26th April 22 from 10 am to 8.30 pm, 23rd April 22 from 11 pm to 12 midnight, 22nd April 22 from 10 pm to 12 midnight, 12th April 2022 from 10 am to 7.15 pm, 19th April 2022 from 11 am to 4.15 pm, 20th April 2022 from 11 am to 2 pm and again from 10 pm to 11 pm.
Power cuts imposed on 1st February 2022 from 11am to 5 pm, 8th February 2022 from 2 pm to 6 pm, 22nd February 2022 from 2 pm to 5 pm, 8th March 2022 from 11 am to 6 pm, 15th March 2022, power cut was imposed from 2.30 pm to 6.30 pm and again a late night power cut on 15th March 2022 from 2 am onwards till 4 am, 28th January 22 from 11.30 am to 5.45 pm, 21st January 22 from 10 am to 4 pm, 14th January 2022 from 11am to 4 pm, 18th January 2022 from 10 am to 6 pm. Power cuts imposed on 28-12-21 from 11 am to 4 pm, 21-12-21 from 2 pm to 5 pm, 14-12-21 from 11 am to 2 pm, 7-12-21 from 3 pm to 5 pm, 30-11-21 from 10 am to 12 pm, 23-11-21 from 12 pm to 2 pm, 1-11-21 from 2 pm to 5 pm, 26-10-21 from 10 am to 5 pm, 5-10-21 from 2 pm to 5 pm, 28-9-21 from 11 am to 6 pm, 7-9-21 from 11 am to 5 pm, 31-8-21 from 2 pm to 5 pm, 24-8-21 from 11 am to 4 pm, 17-8-21 from 12 pm to 5 pm, 10-8-21 from 11 am to 3 pm, 3-8-21 from 11.30 am to 4.30 pm. On 30th July 2021, power cut was imposed from 10.30 am to 11.30 am, 29th July 2021 from 2 pm to 6.15 pm, on 27th July 2021 from 8.45 am to 2 pm, On 7-7-21 there was a power cut from 7 am to 11 am, on 29-6-21 from 11 am to 5.30 pm, 22-6-21 from 10 am to 5.45 pm, 15-6-21 from 11 am to 4 pm, 8-6-21 from 11 am to 4.30 pm, 1-6-21 from 12 pm to 6.15 pm, 28-5-21 from 10 am to 7 pm, 25-5-21 from 10 am to 7 pm, 16th May 21 from 5 am to 6.45 am, 15th May 21 late night from 2.00 am to 4.00 am, 11th May 21 from 10 am to 6 pm, 11th May 21 12.30 midnight to 2 am, 9th May 21 6.30 am to 8 am, 7th May 21 from 3 pm to 5 pm and again a late night power cut from 12.30 midnight to 1.30 am. Msedcl imposed a power cut on 24th Aug 2020 from 5.15 am to 5.45 am, 23rd Aug 20 from 5.00 am to 6.30 am, 18th Aug 20 from 11 am to 5 pm, 16th Aug 20 12.30 midnight to 6 am, 11th Aug 20 11 am to 5 pm, 5th August 2020 from 4 pm to 10 pm and again a late night power cut from 12.30 midnight to 2.30 am. On 31st July 20 there was a power cut for 2 hours. Again a power cut was imposed on 28th July 20 and on 21st July 20 for 3 hours. A late night power cut was imposed on 21st July 20 from 3 am to 5 am. Likewise another late night power cut was imposed on 5th July 20 from 12 midnight to 5 am. Again power cut was imposed on 5th August 2020 from 4 pm to 10 pm and again a late night power cut from 12.30 midnight to 2.30 am. Power cut was imposed on 4th June 20 from 11.45 am to 2.15 pm and again at 7.15 pm till 10 pm. On 2nd June 2020 power cut was imposed from 10.30 am to 11.30 am in Sector 9 Khanda Colony. Again a power cut was imposed on 3rd June 2020 from 11 am to 10 pm. Again on 4th June 2020 a power cut was imposed from 11.45 am to 2.15 pm and again at 7.15 pm and till 12 midnight the power was not restored. Msedcl imposed a power cut on 12th May 2020 from 10 am to 6 pm in Sector 9 Khanda Colony. Again a power cut was imposed on 26th May 2020 from 10 am to 7 pm. Again on 27th May 2020 a power cut was imposed at 5.45 pm and till midnight the power was not restored.
Due to these power cuts, residents are a harassed lot. The late night power cuts make a person fell groggy the next day and incapacitate them for the entire day. Msedcl is solely responsible for the health problems faced by most of the residents as they feel sick with fluctuating levels of blood pressure, headaches, asthma, heart palpitations, high pressure in the eyes due to sleep disturbances. Online classes conducted by the school and coaching classes go for a toss and the students cannot cope up with their studies.
MSEDCL only wants an excuse to hide its inefficiencies. MSEDCL is still not able to supply 24x7x365 power to existing residents even after all these years. They also do not allow other power players to supply power. They have screwed up entire Maharashtra State with their power cuts.
As a result of such power cuts, the following are the problems faced by the residents:-
1. Costly vegetables, fruits, milk, batter and other perishables etc stored in the refrigerator get spoiled leading to tremendous losses.
2. Residents feel sick with fluctuating levels of blood pressure, headaches, asthma, heart palpitations, high pressure in the eyes due to sleep disturbances.
3. The mobile phones conk off and the Internet connection gets disrupted and communication is cut off leading to severe inconvenience.
4. Students are not able to study from lectures on online school lectures and youtube videos due to power cuts.
MSEDCL has been torturing the residents over the last 32 years despite them paying all their bills regularly and that too well before the due date. Load shedding is not the solution and electricity generation is the need of the hour.
With the advent of technology, there are more than 96% of the populace who use the following gadgets which have become a basic necessity of life rather than a luxury item- Washing Machine, Refrigerator, Television, computer, laptops, Smart phones, Microwave Oven, Pop-up toaster, Electric Iron, Air conditioner LED lights, fans etc. Usage of these gadgets definitely consumes power between 150 to 200 units per month. However, the first power consumption slab of Msedcl is still at 0 to 100 units whereas with development, this first slab should be 0 to 200 units. Secondly, Wheeling charges are being levied which is very high at Rs 1.28 per unit and should be reduced to Re 1 per unit. The Electricity Duty should also be reduced from 16% to 10%.The Fixed Meter charges are very high at Rs 110 per month which should be reduced to Rs 50 per month. There is a corpus in the Consumer's Fund and this should be distributed among the eligible consumers to reduce inflated bills. We appeal to the Central Government and MERC to get this resolved permanently. We appeal to MERC to refrain Msedcl from imposing power cuts.

For Consumer[protected], BU 4769, the meter shows faulty in Bill since last one year. In spite of regular complaint raised. Still it i not been resolved. All world now a days works online but Mahadiscom it still expecting customer to visit to their office just to raise complaint offline. Currently i am at site since 1 year so online complaint raising is the only option left with me.

Msedcl is the worst electricity board in the world. Everyday we are facing power cut issue for 1 hour. If you are not capable of handling the load and use inferior quality of infrastructure, hand over the entire operations to private sector.
MSEDCL has most inefficient and incapable technology and employees.

Mysel[censored]mesh Ambre using mseb electric meter with legual connection since many years. Now suddenly they have imposed security deposit amount without any information. And it's made mandatory. Though I m a regular consumer who payed every month bill on time also in covid period but then too this msedcl is making corruption money on name of merc.

Electricity cut in my area. Thane naupada. MSEDCL is the worst of worst electricity board. If you cannot provide good service why don't you hand it over to tatas or ambanis or adanis. Msedcl is corrupt and most least efficient organisation. You deserve to be insulted in front of public by abusing.

Msedcl imposed a power cut on 4th January 2022 from 11am to 4 pm, 18th January 2022 from 10 am to 6 pm, 1st February 2022 from 11am to 5 pm, 8th February 2022 from 2 pm to 6 pm, 22nd February 2022 from 2 pm to 5 pm, 8th March 2022 from 11 am to 6 pm, 15th March 2022, power cut was imposed from 2.30 pm to 6.30 pm and again a late night power cut on 15th March 2022 from 2 am onwards till 4 am, 12th April 2022 from 10 am to 7.15 pm, 19th April 2022 from 11 am to 4.15 pm, 20th April 2022 from 11 am to 2 pm and again from 10 pm to 11 pm. MSEDCL only wants an excuse to hide its inefficiencies. MSEDCL & Town planning authorities are very corrupt and sanction new projects in Navi Mumbai without increasing power generation to supply 24x7 power to existing residents as well as prospective residents in upcoming projects. As a result of such power cuts, the following are the problems faced by the residents:-

Residents of Navi Mumbai are those who have shifted from Mumbai as encouraged by the Central and State Government where there were no power cuts because it was insulated by three power companies - Tata, BEST, BSES. However even today after more than a quarter of a century, MSEDCL cannot supply 24x7x365 days power supply. The moot point is that if Navi Mumbai (Vashi to Panvel/Airoli) has to become a Smart City & the future Airport node, it cannot afford to have any power cuts and it should have 24 X 7 power supply round the clock. It is high time the Maharashtra Government understands the need for changing the Power Distributor in Navi Mumbai from MSEDCL to another player like Reliance or TATA Power. TATA Power will supply cheaper power and also insulate Navi Mumbai by supplying 24 X 7 power for Navi Mumbai from Vashi to Panvel/Airoli.
More than 90% of the residents who have shifted to Navi mumbai from Mumbai are ruing their decision now due to the wretched brute and misanthrope MSEDCL.
Now after more than a quarter of a century, the power cuts have not stopped. This Disruption is a Criminal offence and terrorises the residents into submission. The Msedcl officers responsible for these power cuts should be prosecuted. The perpetrators of this crime should be publicly hanged.
We appeal to the Central Government and get this resolved permanently. The power cuts destroy an upcoming Smart City- Navi Mumbai. We appeal to MERC to refrain Msedcl from imposing power cuts. Maharashtra Government should issue a notice to Msedcl for power cuts as they do so for any power outage from Tata Power.

Please advise why additional security deposit of Rs.1000, while consumption is normal or not exceeding the limits in recent times?
Please suggest if there is additional consumption/

I can't even register a complaint online using mahadiscom.in or mobile app or customer care number.

Not getting what to do now.

I have been charged with a heavy security deposit charges of Rs 8490 on my CA number of[protected]

I am also getting very high bill off lately & in march it has been Rs 6190.

This is way to high Security deposit & electricity charges which are levied month on month

I request you to please look into the same on priority

I dont what is this Security deposit ? & why am i charged so high ?

First of all, no one is replying on [protected]@ho.mahadiscom.in, if not want to reply on mail then why it's created.

Second, Everyday electricity is not available during water supply.

In last two month facing wrong reading, billing problem.
Online complaint raised but closed as it is without any action.
In Feb'22 bill - reading more-around 80 Units.
In Mar'22- Bill given without current reading (Avg Billing) even - Meter is easily visible (Parking area) as it is in common society.
