The service provided by this mseb in wanorie area of pune is really really really pathetic n aweful n sometime brings tears in eyes due to so frequent frequent power cuts. Few drops of rain pours from the skies n this inefficient boards power supply goes off be it 3 pm or 3 am. Sometimes feel so sad to imagine even in 2016 these people are so so ineffecient that they cant combat few drops of water forget heavy rains. Really feel sad world is going somewhere else n we are still stuck in these bloody power cuts. More than 10 rupee a unit with such nonsense service. God save

    Dear management.

    This is to bring to your notice that we are getting over charged in our bills from last 2 months..

    Our usual bill trend is[protected] approximate max..
    But since last 2 months since the meter is changed we are receiving high bills..

    When visited to your center poor way of response is received from people working there..
    Must say highly un professional and un qualified people are hired to attend your customers.
    If this the way u serve.. Sooner or later u will have no customers to serve..

    These kind of high bills are very disturbing and no one to attend our complaints.

    Even after complaining no one has bothered to check meters.

    Waiting for your revert asap.

      I am live Krishna Nagar Polce line, Sec No 20, Chikhali Akurdi Road, Chinchwad Pune 19. In Bld no. 1, room 8 & room no. 14 this homes is using electricity without meter, they take it direct connection form main fuse. They use it near by 5-6 years. one time your officials cuts that direct connection. But home owner give that official some amount & that show is go on. same condition with Bld. no. 2. This blds confirm defaulters. You can received more defaulters in Police Line

        We paid the mseb bill of rupees 990/- online on 19 may 2016 on mahadiscom site
        For bill dated 22april16
        (Bill period 17 march 2016 to 17 april 2016)

        But when may 2016 bill
        Dated 21 may 2016 was generated..
        Rs 986 for april also included as arrears in may bill??

        Pls get it reversed in the next bill..

            I stay in Kalyan(west) Navi mumbai.
            There was a doubt that the meter has been faulty from quite a few weeks because the bills started going up every month.
            It came to my shock when today morning I got my electricity bill stating my month of June to be 4750/-...
            A complete shocker.
            How can they charge unwanted tarrif without any reason,
            i need to complain about the faulty meter & excessive billing.

              From past 1 month (June 2016), there is continuous power cut down for average of 4-5 hours.

              MSEB office does not provide exact details nor entertain calls. we have spent sleepless nights without electricity.

              Even after placing complaint on Toll Free number there is no resolution. We want this issue resolved ASAP.

              Are these people seriously providing electricity to registered consumers or they want to supply it to all without bills?

                I have received my Electric Bill for Rs.3550 and Rs.4150 for the month of May and Jun 2016 respectively.
                The bill appears to be inflated, as I know for certain that our consumption electricity is not so high as to warrant such a high bill. The same can be verified with my usage for the previous months/years.
                I have already lodged complaints at your office with complaint number: 4025671, 4025669, 4025660, 4025656 dated May 20, 2016 for May months billing and 4202273 dated June 17, 2016 for June months billing. However, there has been no resolution for the same.
                While I have already paid the bill for the month of May 2016 Rs.3550 I am not in a position to pay such a high bill of Rs.4150 for June 2016.
                I hereby request that a representative from your electric house be dispatched to my place as soon as possible in order to read my meter and determine whether or not someone has been "stealing" my electricity, or perhaps that my meter is faulty.
                I appreciate if this matter of excess billing is resolved at the earliest. Waiting for your immediate action

                  We have bought a new connection in Diva east in August 2015 however the account has not been activated till now. It is more than 10 months. Every time the officials at Diva office are saying that it will appear tomorrow but tomorrow never comes.
                  I think they are doing this malpractice to get the money from us through the agent they are associated with.

                    I am staying at nallasopara from last 9 years. Lots of things has been changed but mseb light issues are still same. Since there is no load shading but other light cut issues are worst. No proper maintenance causes 3 to 4 hrs light cut.India talking about smart cities and vasai - virar people still suffering with power cut. What the hell.

                    Its my kind request to higher authority, at least for the sake of our request please resolve this issue.

                      It takes much of pain to inform you regarding interrupted power supply nearly on daily basis.
                      My customer no is[protected]
                      You are charging us heavily, increased unit charges for this inconvenience on our part??
                      Your employees are not even that manner of how to deal with customer. They disconnect the call in between. Always ready with the answer all are busy in attending problems?? If all are working so sincerely then why since last three weeks we have a power cut on daily basis for 4-5 hours???

                      If this is going to be the affair on your part than as a customer i would surely see to it to go to the highest level in your dept.
                      I am fwd same copy of email to our local leader also as a proof of our greviance.
                      Hope for a earliest positive action from your end.

                        Since the last three months), I am being charged excessive electricity bills.
                        I have already raised a complaint with the online executive and the complaint no. is 4215804.

                        My consumer No. is[protected] and my BU is Kolshet Thane.
                        The average usage is never too high and no bills are outstanding till date.

                        I do not run any commercial set up and my house also has just one Air Conditioner that too is used rarely.
                        I fail to understand if there is a fault in your meters.

                        This is the third consecutive month that my bill is very high.
                        In fact, just last month, I was made to pay Rs. 6, 450/- and this month you have hiked it even further to Rs. 7650/-.
                        This is way too high and certainly there seems to be a major problem with the readings.

                        Request you to look into the matter immediately and resolve the same at the earliest.

                          Few months back my bill used to come between INR 450 to INR 550. It raised continuously every month.

                          I don't have that many equipments to have INR 5000/month electricity bill.

                          Last month (May) also it was INR 5000. Again it INR 5000 n June now.

                          No person comes to take meter reading, they are doing it on their assumption or whatever they wrote blindly.

                          Before i thought they may be adjusting it in next month, but, it is their employee's uselessness.

                          when i took electricity connection, the apart from meter connection charges, the worker who came to connect a red wire asked for bribe of INR 350 without which he would not come only.

                          The corruption & nikammapan is flowing in govt. employees. First they suck money in the form of income tax & lot other taxes for every thing we buy or do, then, they want bribe as well to do a penny work, really ridiculous. A small work of just noting down the true reading is also a tedious work for them, how India will make some technology.

                          Once some MSEB peoples came home & asking to pay bill in cash, a new looting method i experienced. i used to pay online.

                            Dear Sir, Myself Shivaji Babaji Gawali, 'A' 101, Varad C H S, Plot No. 45, Sector 12, Kharaghar, Navi Mumbai Pin No. 410210, consumer No.[protected], Billing Unit No.4795/KHARAGHAR, I was shocked when i was saw my this months consumption unit is 349 and billing amount is 2920/Rs.(Two thousand nine hundred and twenty only). my last 11 months average bill is approx 600 Rs. I think their is any mistake by your billing department or meter because we are not doing any extra activity with electricity. And i got approx three time more billing unit and also billing amount. so please check the meter reading, meter or any mistake. I hope you will doing best your side and feedback me before 27th June billing date.

                              Frequent power cuts in sector 1 kopar khairane.

                              In the last one month there have been frequent power cuts in sector one Koparkhairane. It seems that one phase which supplies electricity is faulty as this is the phase which experiences frequent power cuts. Can notice power supply on the other phases in the same sector works well. The Msed has the audacity to take off Meyers and cut power to household if bill payment is delayed by a week, yet it doesn't back up such inhumane acts by ensuring...

                                MSEDCL - Perfect example of irregular electricity supply and Outrageous Billing.
                                I wonder how the meters installed could manufacture(record) such sizeable units.
                                We are working class family so during the day we leave it to a 265litre refrigerator to consume electricity.Late in the night I use 1 Ton Lloyd's split 5 star rating AC for 2hrs daily(fixed routine).My previous month's bill was Rs.1920/- Inspite of the same routine this month my bill is Rs.4870.Units Consumed: 490.
                                1.Slight variation is understood
                                2.If there is no one at the house to use Electricity then how can the Units read 490?
                                This leaves us with only 2 options;
                                1.Meter is Faulty or Intentionally such a meter is installed to hike Unit consumption by MSEDCL.
                                2.Connection being Misused
                                My Complaint was registered online 48hrs ago at Mahavitran(MSEDCL) application:[protected]
                                My complaint launched with National Consumer Helpline : 697848.
                                I expect a proper examination/investigation of the Meter/Meter change.Correction to be implemented in my Electricity Bill.Also need to have an assurance such an act not to be repeated again.This is considered fraud/Cheating the consumer.

                                  I, viren arvind kavdi, want to bring to your attention a serious case of high bill (I. E., rs.4800/- for march 2016 and april rs.4950/-)

                                  For the consumer no.[protected]. My case is particular urgent considering the fact that virar mseb has not paid due attention to

                                  The matter inspite of complaining several times.

                                  As per the bill, the meter is currently showing a reading of 38126. I have found that the reading is significantly higher than normal

                                  For my household. All the previos bills have been in the range of rs. 980-1750. It is clear that the excessively high consumption

                                  Howing in the bill can only be due to a fault in the meter or inaccurate meter reading orsome other problem at your end.

                                  I would like a test on the meter immediately. Also, the matter should be escalated to the concerned person at the earliest.
                                  Please replace the meter as it is not functioning and on the dipaly its showing as faulted.

                                      "my msedcl (Maharashtra state electricity distribution company ltd) consumer number is[protected].

                                      My bill for february 2016 dated 08/03/16 (Due date 28/3/16) was for rs 2610. This bill was paid online via billjunction (Transaction id[protected] on 23/3/16.

                                      However my bill for march 2016 dated 12/4/16 (Due date 02/05/16) amounting to rs 6890 showed the february bill as unpaid and included it as arrears of rs 2664.35 though i have already paid the february bill as detailed above. The march bill of rs 6890 was paid online via billjunction (Transaction id[protected] on 30/4/16.

                                      The error may therefore kindly be rectified and the overpaid amount of rs 2664.35 may be adjusted as credit in my next bill".


                                      This is the online complaint i sent to helpdesk msedcl on 23/5/16. That too after several calls to the call centre (Complaint no 3995760) failed to resove the isuue. I personally visited the sub divisional office on 23/5/16 and after waiting for neary 2 hours was rudely told by the official there that he could do nothing since it was an online payment and that i was to send a mail regarding the same to helpdesk msedcl.

                                      In response to my mail i got a request to send my bank statement showing debit of the february bill amount of rs 2610/-. I sent the required statement immediately on 23/5/16 as an attachment in the reply. Thereafter i have sent reminders on several occasions but have met a stony silence. Not even an acknowledgement of having received my mails.

                                      I simply do not know what to do further. Please help.
