For last two to three months bill is coming excessive, while our consumption has not increased. The bill has increased from rs 530.00 in january to rs 1630 now but the electricity consumption is not that much.
The amount has almost tripled please take a action for this or let me know if need to get bill the meter checked.

    Too many power cuts in vishalnagar pimple nilakh area in pcmc...huge electricity bills are paid by us. Power is not their during d day and since last two days every night there is no power. One single rain which is not even like a big downpour, power was shut for more than 2 to 3 hrs.

    It's becoming very difficult especially coz of mosquitoes and heat without electricity

    Before people start to fall sick, Please take prompt action to resolve this issue.

    More than 3 years after the above complaint, the situation has not improved a bit. 8-9 hours of power cut is just intolerable. I think people from electricity board are waiting for people to hold them by collar before they resolve this.

      Its been 10 months that we have shifted in the flat and every month our bill gets increased by 2000/- and now we are paying more that 16000/- per month when all o[censored]s staying in the house are working and so there is absolutely no consumption of electricity the entire day and even at night there is no possible way that we consume electricity worth even half of what we are paying. We complained about it 4 months ago and all of a sudden our bill dropped down to 3000/- from 8000/- which made us further sure that its not the consumtion its the electricity department. they know all o[censored]s are bachelors and working and we wont have time to waste in such matter so they are keep going increasing our elcetricity bill every month.

        I am the serving soldier of indian army and presently serving with ncc, officer training academy kamptee, pin no 441001. My permanent home address is 'sai-sanket" house no 1139, jaimalhar colony, manjri (Bk), teh - haweli, dist pune.
        1. I am the consumer of your company and my consumer no[protected]. I have received the bill for the month of apr 2016, amount rs 230.00. And the same have been paid on 23 may 2016. Now i have received the bill for the month of may 2016, amount rs 420.00 (Including the bill amount of apr 2016). And erroneously i have also paid online through my credit card on 28 may 2016. Hence, in view of the above you are requested to adjust the same in next bill.

        2. Similarly, i have also another connection with consumer no[protected]. I have received the bill for the month of apr 2016, amount rs 1640.00. And the same have been paid on 23 may 2016. Now i have received the bill for the month of may 2016, amount rs 3600.00 (Including the bill amount of apr 2016). And erroneously i have also paid online through my credit card on 28 may 2016. Hence, in view of the above you are requested to adjust the same in next bill.

        3. Please confirm the same for my information.

          Hello sir,

          We have above consumer number (Pune city), we used to get less than rs.700/- bill every month however we got bill of rs.1210/- for the period 26.03.2016 to 27.04.16.In this period my family were not staying in this home and we consumed electricity was very less. I have complained the same in nearest mseb however no result.

          Kindly request you to investigate the same

            Consumer No:[protected] I made a payment of Rs. 14000/- to MSEB via online payment on 26th Jan 2015. I have the online receipt for the same. MSEB credited the amount to the account in the bill accordingly. After a couple of months, the amount of Rs. 14000/- was *adjusted* without any reason for the same. Till date, I have submitted three letters to MSEB about the irregular / illegal adjustment. I have not received any positive response from MSEB. Please provide a solution.

              Dear sir,

              I'm mr. Prashant dhondiba koli, the consumer of electricity being provided by msedcl. My consumer number is[protected]. My home address is as below:
              Flno ua-201, swarvihar, sasane nagar sno 25/30/232 kalepadal / hadapsar pune - 411028.

              From the last one year i've observed that i'm getting electricity of very high amount. For the month of march 2016, i got the electricity bill of 2180/-. For april 2016 as well as may 2016, i got electricity bill of 6490/- each though there were power cuts many times during these months. I agree that i used ac in the night, but the amount difference of the bill which i got for march and april is very huge.

              I even registered the complaint for the march 2016 bill. However the customer care representative asked me to contact the local office of msedcl which is totally ridiculous. If they do not accept complaint over the phone then why they need the customer care department?

              I still went to the sasane nagar msedcl office (Vardhaman township p2) in hadapsar pune. I was asked to submit the written complaint along with the copy of my bill which i did and submitted it on 23-may-2016 mentioning that i want to get my meter replaced. Till 02-june-2016, no action was taken on my written complaint. I went to the office again on 01-june-2016 for a follow up. The officer whom i submitted the bill didn't report to office even after 11:15 am, so i had to leave from there. That office people didn't event provide me their landline number. I again went to their office on 02-june-2016 and this time she sent a couple of wiremen to check the meter. They said the meter is normal but this high bill i reason they also couldn't mention anything. I asked them to replace it and told them that i'm ready to bear the replacement charge of 500/-. They mentioned that they will go to their office and call me on my mobile number which i 've mentioned in my written complaint. I did not get any call from them at all. I'm literally getting harassed with this excessive billing matter.

              Kindly look into this matter and help me in resolving the issue.
              Also let me know in case more information is required.

                With the above details related meter is faulty and defective. Due to this many times we had received excesses & wrong billing.
                Kindly check the consumption history of this no. The average consumption is about 500 units. The maximum consumption was 1095 units in the special circumtances due to some function. Hence the present bill dtd. 23/05/2016 for rs.1940/- is not at all acceptable.

                  My electricity bill suddenly got increased to 13k (Last month) and this month rs14k (Current month bill). Earlier it came around 5 - 6 k. I am not using anything extra or any voltage things.
                  I raised complaints couple of times but no one didnot even came and check the meter to understand where is the flaw. Even i always off 1 week in each month still the charged bill was 14k this month, which is purely impossible.

                  My two recent complaints are:

                  Customer care people says we forward the request to the concerned team and they will call you (Everytime same response). It 's more than 1.5 months now.
                  I am not sure where to escalate this.

                      We are facing repeated power failures of one phase in our residential apartment. Despite posting complaint on the 24 hr customer care number no action is taken till morning and there is no electricity the entire night. This has happened 4 times in the past 12 days. We have even submitted a written complaint about the same to the mseb office in karvenagar. We need a permanent solution for this problem.

                          Dear sir,
                          I am one of the victim from the sai sharan chs located at khanda colony new panvel, navi mumbai
                          On saturday dated 28th may-2016 at midnight we found that our meter room was burn due to shock circuits & due to heavy fire observed. During this situation many peoples are trying to rescue from the location and from society premises, 2 ladies got found 40% burn & immediately hospitalized at ashtvinayak hospital, & 5 children got burn 5 to 10%.
                          Since with immediate help from fire brigade we are rescue from this dangerous fire situation, & we save lives of many others.
                          We got help from police department to rescue peoples from this horrible situation.
                          But at the very out set that mesb team haven't help us at any more, since long time we are asking the help from them but every time they just commitment us but practically on ground level they are fail to reconnect the mesb electricity supply, our entire 40 nos of meters are totally burn due to fire & our entire electricity supply are lost from the saturday midnight from 1.30 am dated 28th may-16.
                          We have given written application them at several offices but till
                          Mahadiscom / MSEB / MSEDCL customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                          I admit one thing her that MSEB team are given us a single tube & single fan connectivity after 24hrs but it is not sufficient, we have done many work from private technician and we started our water motor room connections as well after 5 days we have started lift connection, but this entire service we have done from out side. mseb team haven't help in this regards,

                          Now from the incident happens date we have requested to provide new meters to the location, but they added terms that we have to set up a new meter room, as per MSEB guide line we have done every thing as per their guide lines but at the unfortunate now they said that they dont have the sufficient meter quantity with their stock, I am very surprise that we approach them at the immediate on 29th may, & we have given entire idea about the incident, & asking a humanity help towards entire victims but they didn't manage the meters till date, if they try hard they can able to manage every thing within time, but they dont. we have put up this issue to their local corporator but even they haven't respond positively. we all members now suffers very poor position & tired from this horrible situation.
                          I once again requesting you please do the needful at the immediate and help us to connect with electricity full phase supply.

                            There is No electricity in Sadashiv peth Pune for last two hours now and toll free no is continuously busy . Yesterday also the electricity was shut down for few hours and again today there is no electricity ..Let us know when it will be resolved ..

                            Why are there frequent power cuts since yesterday and consumers are not informed at all about such power cuts which are happening .

                            The toll free number is coming busy and we are not able to llog a complaint ..

                              Why doesn't mseb provide decent electricity in opp sahastrabudhe hospital area of old panvel.I am a customer like many others who face power cuts everyday either all day or in the morning or afternoon or night. What is the use of paying bills regularly when i am not getting their services? I have raised complaints about power failure everyday.

                              Please do needful and correct action.

                                We have been getting an unimaginably high bill MoM, There is some issue in the billing every month 10-15 days our house is empty and the range of bill is[protected] some times 3500 we have complained to nearest office and the answer we get is there is a picture of your meter in the bill and it is correct,
                                This time shockingly the bill is 7880, which is almost double of what we get and it is all time high.
                                Why should we pay Electricity Duty / FAC Charges etc at 16% as we are already paying the highest charges for electricity in the country in Thane District.
                                Request you to help sort out the same at the earliest.

                                  I had abrupt high and faulty bills in the past for couple of months. For which I visited our sub division offices near Park Street and Dange Chowk.

                                  After persuading the matter for long, the Dange chowk office related the issue to my faulty meter and advised that the same will be changed. The order for changing the faulty meter was given on 20th February 2016 of which I have a signed copy. The office allotted some Mr. Mhaskey for the job and also gave me his number for follow up. Despite my regular follow ups the Meter has not been changed till date.

                                  Now, in the month of May'16 (bill is for April'16) again the bill has come to Rs. 7340 as against previous month's bill of 840 and as against monthly average of 204 units / month . This kind of consumption has never been a case for my Consumer No. apart from the month for which I have already raised the bill. Also this huge bill can't be even attributed to high consumption for a family which only has two members.

                                  During the past occasion when the meter was not changed inspite of the written orders, I deliberately held the bill payment (which was faulty) till the matter could be solved but MSEB officials threatened and came to disconnect my connection and after no customer service, I had to pay for even faulty bills.

                                  I have visited Park Street office many a times after taking leaves from my office and facing so much of trauma. Now they mention that since you have come so many times we will give you 350 discount. For 7340 bill they are giving me 350 discount just because I have a faulty meter which they have acknowledged but not changed till date. It is a random decision which is not acceptable to me. First my meter should be changed immediately and then my bill should be corrected based on my average consumption.

                                    There is some problem in the meter. Could smell something burning. It might create some serious issue. Its an emergency.

                                      Hi,

                                      This is inform to you that i am not staying in my flat and its a vacant flat but i received a bill for month of march 2016 which unit consumption of 20. Now in a new bill a previous meter reading is 1 unit and current meter reading is 1 unit. I have logged a several complaint to customer care which are below.

                                      I always got a answer from customer care as we had forward your complaints to concern department and will give a call to you but till date there is no call from anyone. It is one type of harassment to customer and should take quick action on this.

                                        We are 2 working ladies staying in a flat, hance the electricity is not used for whole day except for weekend.

                                        We have a ac, fridge, washing machine, and the ac is used for few hours only in the mornings.

                                        We have been facing high bills for month of april and may. The units consumed on april was 502 and we paid 4, 880, but in may the units consumed is 645 and bill is 7568. The unit difference is around 100 units and bill almost the double.

                                        Can you please check if the meter is faulty or any other technical problem and help us out here. This bill is way too high to believe.
