Msedcl imposed a power cut on 11-5-24 from 9.15 pm to 11.40 pm in Khanda Colony after a short rainy spell of 20 minutes. The moment the first rains arrive, power is cut and this has been happening nonstop for the last 25 years. God knows what equipment is being used by Msedcl, because in Mumbai there are no power cuts during the first rains at all. Even after so many years it seems we are residing in a backward area due to Msedcl power supplier. MSEDCL has been torturing the residents over the last 32 years despite them paying all their bills regularly and that too well before the due date. Over the years, the population in Khanda Colony has increased tremendously but the transformer capacity has not been increased by MSEDCL due to unknown reasons. When will the existing residents get 24/7 power for 365 days. They have waited patiently for the last 32 years. Mind you, Khanda Colony is located in a city Navi Mumbai with close proximity to the Navi Mumbai international airport and is not a village to bear such brutal power cuts. The residents return home tired and weary from work and EOD there is no power. People are not cattle. It is high time the transformer capacity is increased to cater to all the residents requirements in the locality. The residents appeal to the Honourable Prime Minister and Maharashtra Chief Minister to initiate a CBI enquiry into these power cuts and resolve the issue permanently and provide much needed relief to the residents.

Msedcl imposed a power cut on 14-5-24 from 11 am onwards in Haware Vrindavan Towers ABD CHS Sector 9 Khanda Colony and till now power is not restored. Msedcl imposed a power cut on 12-5-24 from 10 am to 10.45 am, from 1.45 pm to 3 pm, late night power cut from 1.30 am to 2.15 am, 11-5-24 from 9.15 pm to 11.40 pm in Khanda Colony after a short rainy spell of 20 minutes. The moment the first rains arrive, power is cut and this has been happening nonstop for the last 25 years. God knows what equipment is being used by Msedcl, because in Mumbai there are no power cuts during the first rains at all. Even after so many years it seems we are residing in a backward area due to Msedcl power supplier. Due to these power cuts, residents feel groggy & incapacitated & fall sick as they can't breathe properly due to lack of ventilation and they end up suffocating and sweating excessively resulting in fatalities. Following are the problems faced by the residents:- 1. Residents feel groggy and incapacitated and fall sick and their heart rate increases leading to fatalities.2. Costly vegetables, fruits, milk, batter & other perishables etc stored in the refrigerator get spoilt leading to tremendous losses. 3. Mobile phones conk off due to disruption. MSEDCL has been torturing the residents over the last 32 years despite them paying all their bills regularly and that too well before the due date.     For a long time I have been complaining on mahadiscom customer care about frequent power failures in our area but there is never proper response given by any. Today twice power supply failed in our area but there is no such issue for the nearby areas. There is never a proper communication made by MSEB about power failure outages or their resolutions.

      There has been frequent power failures where I live. Upon contacting local subdivision they confirm that there is no load-shedding or repair so they're unaware of the cause.
      That's why they inform us that they'll visit the premises.
      Today I've raised one such complaint and got a call from local subdivision employee saying I need to go downstairs and visit them in person. I went and called them and noone picked up!!! Standing...

        Too many power cuts even after paying huge amount of electricity bills. Even if there is a little pour of rain, electricity is going for 2-3 hours, especially at night. Please do something about it

          Consumer number is[protected] residing in warje Atul nagar. From last 3 days light is interrupted in the night at various timings. Is it due to demand surges or it is due to election is announced. I doubt it’s bcoz of election bcoz last 4 years summer is there.

            Sending bill without meter reading

            I have a 1rk vacant flat, i have been paying my bills regularly I did not notice my electricity was disconnected until nov 2023, upon making an online complaint my connection was restored and I received a bill of 34620/- in feb 2024 which is highly impossible its a vacant flat, for the last few years my bills shows only 1 unit on meter reading and I am getting nominal bills of 130 apprx every month, all of sudden the bill recieved high bill, I have made multiple visit at uruli kanchan office and made online complaints as well but not getting any help

              Before due date they disconnected electricity and removed our meter after that I call customer care call they don't give satisfy solution even staff vary bad they doesn't an idea about office working time and live connection how many time after convert into td connections .Live consumer can't pay recontion bill after paid they will send technical team to connect meter. more than 40 hour time waist but result big zero solution zero. I am new owner of this flat that why I can't get technical last waring because of documents updating. But before due date they disconnected and now don't give any kind of response so please 🙏 as soon as possible reconnect our electricity.

                  Average bill has been coming for few months, this month we have not used much unit yet still high unit has been used. I have received such a bill, even after giving online complaint and writing a complaint in the office, no one has come to check. On the day when the bill is not paid, everyone comes to the house, if the customer has an issue, no one has come. I request you to get the meter checked as soon as possible and turn on the meter display and give me the bill for my usage. And I will not pay any kind of meter cost, display is the issue, meter is not burning, and complaint close without resolution help me

                      Msedcl has been resorting to illegal power cuts in Haware Vrindavan Tower ABD CHS Khanda Colony Sector 9. The residents have been suffering despite paying all their bills on time & situation does not seem to improve.                           The consumer number[protected] for 4733 unit in bhandup east has had. Negative bills since some months. We never received any physical bills too. How can the officials come over and disconnect the meter and take it away without notifying the consumer. Is this the way things work?
