I am writing to bring to your attention a serious issue I have been facing for over a year now, with the MSEDCL Board and the officers at the Chalisgaon division. My account number is[protected].

Initially, my electricity meter developed a fault, prompting me to request a new meter. I paid a sum of INR 5000 for the replacement, only to receive another old meter. Within a span of 5 to 6 months, the replaced meter also malfunctioned, leading me to pay another INR 5000 for a new meter. Yet again, I was provided with an old meter. To add to the woes, this meter was not activated for two months during which I received arbitrary bills. When the meter was finally activated on the third month, it calculated all the previous plus current readings, and the arbitrary readings from the inactive period, resulting in an exorbitantly high electricity bill.

This entire experience has been extremely distressing and financially burdening. The apathy and mismanagement displayed by the concerned officials at the Chalisgaon division have caused me and my family undue hardship. It's disheartening to see such a lack of duty and understanding from a reputable organization like MSEDCL. every month my unit consumtion is just 50 unites but because of their lack of efforts i got around 171 unites

I earnestly request an immediate investigation into this matter. I am also seeking a significant reduction in my electricity bill, bringing it down to a reasonable amount of INR 1, 500 to 2, 000. I am willing to provide all necessary documents, meter readings, and payment receipts to validate my claim.

    In March 2023, my energy meter goes faulty status which number is [protected].

    Kamothe MSEDCL officer suggestion, meters not available at MSEDCL stock and they can replace after 7-8 month when available meter stock. Consumer can purchase from local market and MSEDCL will install it. MSEDCL will pay meter charge Rs. 800 - 900 after installing meter in next bill.

    So I have purchased Energy meter @ Rs 2000 from local market which number [protected] and handover to MSEDCL for installation. Then April 2023 installed by them.

    Till now, Purchased meter charges (Rs. 800 - 900) is not received and not adjusted in energy bill.

      I am writing to formally address the ongoing and frequent power interruptions in Sukhsagar Nagar, Pune. The current state of affairs has reached a critical level, requiring immediate attention.

      Our area/colony experiences daily power cuts, often lasting 8 to 10 hours, significantly disrupting our daily routines . As students preparing for campus placements, these outages are impeding our ability to engage in online classes, complete assignments, and prepare for exams.

      We urge the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd. (MSEDCL) to address this issue urgently and restore a stable power supply to our area. Your prompt response and action are crucial to resolving this pressing concern.

        Msedcl has been resorting to illegal power cuts in Haware Vrindavan Tower ABD CHS Khanda Colony Sector 9. The residents have been suffering despite paying all their bills on time & situation does not seem to improve. Msedcl imposed a power cut on 7-9-23 from 7.30 pm to 9 pm and again from 12.30 am midnight onwards and power has not yet been restored, on 29-8-23 from 9.30 am to 11 am and again from 1 pm to 5.15 pm, on 19-8-23 from 7.30 am to 8.30 am, 18-8-23 from 6.30 am to 8.15 am, 12-8-23 from 9.50 pm to 10.40 pm, 8-8-23 from 10.30 am to 5 pm, 24-7-23 4.30 pm to 6 pm, 17-7-23 from 5 am to 7 am, 16-7-23 from 11 am to 12 pm, 14-7-23 from 9.15 pm to 10.30 pm, 10-7-23 from 8.15 am to 9 am, 10 am to 11 am, 4-7-23 from 8.30 am to 1.30 pm, 28-6-23 from 12 pm to 5 pm, 16-6-23 from 5.50 pm to 6.30 pm, 7.30 pm to 8.15 pm, 10.30 pm to 11.20 pm, on 14-6-23 from 4 pm to 6 pm, 12-6-23 1.50 pm to 5 pm, 11-6-23 from 7.40 pm till 11.45 pm, 7-6-23 from 7.40 pm till 11.45 pm, on 5-6-23 from 5 am to 5.25 am, 1.50 pm to 2.15 pm, on 4-6-23 from 2.40 am to 3.15 am late-night, on 3-6-23 from 1.40 am to 3 am late-night, on 2-6-23 from 1.40 am to 5 am late-night.
        The helpline number[protected] of MSEDCL Khanda Colony is continuously busy as they unplug the receiver during power cuts. Due to these power cuts, residents feel groggy & incapacitated & fall sick as they can't breathe properly due to lack of ventilation and they end up suffocating and sweating excessively resulting in fatalities. Following are the problems faced by the residents:- 1. Residents feel groggy and incapacitated and fall sick and their heart rate increases leading to fatalities.2. Costly vegetables, fruits, milk, batter & other perishables etc stored in the refrigerator get spoilt leading to tremendous losses. 3. Mobile phones conk off due to disruption. MSEDCL has been torturing the residents over the last 32 years despite them paying all their bills regularly and that too well before the due date. Over the years, the population in Khanda Colony has increased tremendously but the transformer capacity has not been increased by MSEDCL due to unknown reasons. When will the existing residents get 24/7 power for 365 days. They have waited patiently for the last 32 years. Mind you, Khanda Colony is located in a city Navi Mumbai with close proximity to the Navi Mumbai international airport and is not a village to bear such brutal power cuts. The residents return home tired and weary from work and EOD there is no power. People are not cattle. It is high time the transformer capacity is increased to cater to all the residents requirements in the locality. The residents appeal to the Honourable Prime Minister and Maharashtra Chief Minister to initiate a CBI enquiry into these power cuts and resolve the issue permanently and provide much needed relief to the residents.

I came to the Indori sub-division office several times, but I haven’t received a response from them. Please investigate this and please set up the connection as early as possible.

            My power has been cut by lineman, without any notice on 22.08/23. I am not aware about this cut.
            When complained about my power failure, i was informed that your bill is pending. This is very unfortunate, because my bill of jully . with 0 units used is mere Rs 120.- only. My next bill generated on 10 August is of Rs 590/- with last date of payment 31 August 2023. It is very clear that mahavitaran has cut my power for mere Rs 120/- pending
            For two days there was no power in my flat causing lot of mental harassment to me & my family.
            I am planning to lodge a suite in consumer court for this harassment.
            Another problem is that the bill paid by Gpay is not reflecting on Mahavitaran app's Payment history.

              Hi Team,

              My consumer number is[protected].

              Government people cut my wire from pole while cutting Trees, I'm without power for the last 2 months. I have visited the sub-divisional office more than 20 times but no one is coming to restore my power. have registered 20-25 online complaints but no one is taking action on it. Can you please help me to get my issue resolve.

                We are facing regular powercut issues in Rambaug colony Kothrud paud road area. We have had complained on mahavitaran app for the same also mailed them about the same. Still this issue is not resolved yet. Our regular routine is hampering because of these powercut issues. Please check and look into the matter asap.

                    I am receiving wrong bills from last four months. No one is taking the meter consumption readings & charging me average bill which is very high than my regular billing amounts. I am raising complaints from last four months. I am getting reply against each complaint that they will take corrective action & someone will visit & resolve it. No one has visited from last four months. This time also I got average bill which is wrong.
                    Is there someone who really take care of customer. everyone are simply looting genuine customers.

                          Never had electricity bill above 2000₹. From last two month it is above 4500₹.
                          This month i.e., July it is 5600₹ unbelievable. Since June we have stopped using AC. This is completely ridiculous. Directly stab a bank and fill your tummy you ###. Don't pick from a common man's pocket. I need immediate action on this concern. Revise the bill and send a new one. If not then never expect a payment from my end.

                              Power outage in Society since morning 7:00AM. Numerous complains raise getting closed without resolution. :-) easy way out.

                              MSEB has no ownership and the amount that is charged compared to the the service is pathetic
                              .
                              if given option would rather prefer private Electric player who taken ownership.

                                  Never had electricity bill going more than 2k rs. Received a bill for 5300/- this month. This is not acceptable. It's not like COVID times where the bill was calculated as an average for more than 3 months. This bill is unfair.
