Sub: Wrong Billing done from October 2022 to Jan 2023, when the house is vacant and locked since 1st of June 2023. Customer Number:[protected]..
Dear Sir/Madm
This is to inform that we have not been staying in our house since 1st June 2022 until now of this date. The house has been locked and no one is staying. The electricity bills issued till now is showing wrong billing with following units and amounts as listed below:
The following are the Electricity bills we have been issued since June 2022 until now January 2023.

We made compliant in person at the Assistant Engineer, Ramtekadi Section Office. MSEDC Ltd, Pune. On[protected] and complained that the house is vacant and that the amount and units shown on the bills since October 2022 until January are wrong. The Assistant Engineer agreed to sent his assistant to visit the house and check the units from the meter. We informed the Assistant Engineer that the meter was not showing the meter reading but showed the message “P-53719”.
We were, assured that the billing for February 2023 will be corrected based on the meter reading and the excess amount will be refunded. Then, as the meter reading was due on 3rd February 2023.

    Dear Sir,
    We have purchased a resale 1BHK flat in Mar22. We are paying MSEB Electricity bill before due date each month and the monthly average bill is of Rs700/-.We have paid all the bills up to Oct22. We are using 3 lights and 2 fans in our home. Electricity consumption should not exceed 100 units. But in the month of Jan23 we got a bill of Rs107000/- with electricity consumption of 6000 units. We have checked that the meter no ***79467 is mentioned in our bill but as per physical meter in place has meter no ***79468 . We have never got bill with this meter number(***79468). MSEB people says that they were sending incorrect bill since beginning (approx 10 years). MSEB they have done some correction and provided final bill of 54000/-. But still the meter number mentioned in the bill is the old one(***79467). MSEB has disconnected our electricity supply with out any call or notice. They are forcing to pay the due to get power supply reconnected. Could you please guide me.
    1. Why should I pay for MSEB's mistake of sending incorrect bill since last 10 years.
    2. We have purchased the flat in March22 and Is it my liability to pay the final bill amount for the corrections done for the 10 year period?

              All meters of building 'Opal" at Bay Castle, Nehuli, Alibaug are showing err 562 for the last two months, hence meter reading units are not visible. This has been brought to the notice of Mr. Bagade by the society manager over a two months ago, but no action has been taken. I personally visited MSEB Alibaug office but I was told to ask the society office to follow up for this. Accordingly Mr. Bagade was informed two months ago. The problem still persists

                      The government agreed to the demands of Mseb employees but still they always cut electricity for more than six hours.
                      This firm is not professional and very unethical. Every week we face loss of electricity for more than 7 hours average.
                      Area- Soceity - Viva sarovar, Jambulwadi road.
                      Our society lane faces more problems and this has been more than three years we are facing problems. These people are not professional l.
                      Sometimes, we have power cut for more than 10 hours at night without notices.
                      We are fed up of Mseb. Paying bills on time to suffer power loss.
                      Currently I am writing this complaint with no power.

                        We are facing this issue of irregular power supply form a long time, only in our area we face powder supply offs while other neighbouring areas seen from my house have 24/7 electricity, as a student I'm facing too much trouble by this I'm not even able to concentrate on my studies, i would like to ask why only our area face this problem while other neighbouring areas have constant electricity supply?

                          My Consumer no[protected] electricity meter has been removed without any notice and without any information.

                          Last Bill I received on 1st June 2018 last payment was 30th March 2019 which I paid. From past 1 year bill is showing -750/- (as there was no use, house was shut) so I was relaxed.

                          Unfortunately, I moved out from home city & since it was my 2nd house, somehow it got neglected. at the starting of this year, I came to know MSEB Department removed whole meter (Connection) & now they asking to submit new connection request. With 11, 000/-

                          Why can’t they simply reinstitute same old account, why I need to pay 11, 000/-

                          They are saying its new rule, if there is no consumption from last 6 months, they will remove/stop connection.

                            I have recharged of rupees 2000 for customer id[protected] on 23rd Nov and it was successful .2000 rs got deducted from my bank account but i got server error screen on mahadiscom website after payment done however token is also not generated when refresh the website link of mahadiscom

                            Can you please help me to provide token for 2000 rupees recharge or else refund me back my amount.

                            Please let me know if you want any information from me to revert me payment or token number for 2000 recharge payment.

                              I live in Maharashtra, Palghar district over here we have single electricity distributor which is Maharashtra state electricity distributor Co.Ltd also known as Mahavitaran.

                              In my apartment the one who has Air conditioner installed they received the electricity bill of Rs 2000/- Average. I don't have AC but still my electricity bill crossed Rs2000 and I've been forced to pay bill of sum Rs2500/- for 4 or 5 months. I don't keep previous month bill pending, All the bills are paid on time because we have one handicapped person at home who's age is 18 years. My dad earns Rs14000/- in which we had to pay ₹2500 electric bill.

                              They fit the malfunctioning meter and after complaining for the same they fully denied by saying " Meter is OK " and at the end customer is forced to pay the higher amount of bill which shows high unit usage and blames the fridge and wiring of the house which is obviously not all the customer are going to get check the whole wiring of the house it cost too much for low income group.

                              I reached out many times to the local authorities not a single help they provide, don't even know how to behave with a customer, taken granted treated me as I'm the culprit and they are the king.
                              There is more descriptive details which I want to share but I can't type all over here it might be a long paragraph.

                              I emailed the issue regarding the same to the company's email id and not a single response from them.

                              This whole issue has occurred from many years and in 2022 it crossed the limit of my family patience and potential. It's been more than 6months I've requested them to change the meter and still not a single lead.

                              I'm very disappointed, mentally disturbed with such worst practices.

                              The employees over there working in a office don't even know how the electricity is been produced in India, what to say ? And they treated me like a stupid customer.

                              I've been looking for the genuine help I request any official who help please help due to inflation it's getting very difficult to run the house and we also have handicapped child at home who can't walk so basic fan and television is needed for his entertainment.

                              This high bill spike is major issue over here and don't know how much this electricity distributor is earning through it.

                                I live in a home alone. Before I occupied, a family was living and their expenses were more. But then I came, meter turned faulty and average biling started. I live alone and in the office most of the times. Even in September I was only present for 12 days and still got bill of over 600. My landlord complained but nothing happens. I complained online, they said meter will be changed but still nothing is happening and they continue to send me average bill. They came to cut off the line when it's fault on their side not mine
