Title : Looting of passanger at Rural area (Baramati-Morgaon) by ST conductor.

Description:

Dear Sir,
I am a regular traveller through ST bus services. I am travelling to my native from Mumbai using ST buses since my childhood.
Currently I am travelling to Morgaon, Pune for business purpose atleast once in a week.
While I was moving from Jejuri to Morgaon on 08/06/08 at 1.30 P.M. through ST bus, No. MH-12-AQ-8624, I got a very bad experience from the bus conductor. I was asked to pay Rs. 11 as I was not having a change of Rs. 1, paid Rs. 20. Then I asked the conductor to pay me back Rs.9. Then he shroudly told me that I have to carry the change of Rs.1 and it is my mistake that I have not carried the same. Even I suggest to give me that whenever will be available with him during the journey. He immediately replied that It will not be available during journey with confident.
Then I spoke with an elderely person sitting beside me and he told me that the same thing is happening everyday & probabily he is not going to get his 1 Rs. back which conductor suppose to give him today (He paid Rs.10 for ticket of Rs.9 from Jejuri to Mawadi). During the journey shrude behaviour of conductor with other passenger was continued and no body was replying him as most were seem to illiterate.
When Mawadi came, the person beside me was forced to left the bus without getting his money back, reasoned from the conductor that he dont have the change.
When my destination (Morgaon) came, while alighting from the bus I asked conductor to give my 9 Rs. back. He again shrudely told me that he dont have change, either I have to give 1 Rs. to him & then he will give 10 Rs, to me or else I have to forget about money. Then I asked him to give atleast whatever change he had. He offered me 6 Rs. change and asked to forhet Rs. 3. Then I asked him to give his Name and Batch number as I have to complaint about him. He reacted forcefully, asked me to first get down of the bus and told me that he will not give any details of him and asked me to go and do whatever I can do as nothing will make any difference to him. He told me to go to anybody to complaint & he is not bother about such things as such things are happening daily with him. He was too shroud and indiscipline in speaking . Then I told him loosing my patience that he is acting like a begger. then he asked me for the ticket and then he asked 6 Rs. to give back to him and he mentioned on the ticket to pay 9 Rs. to me. Then I argued why he is getting 6 Rs. back from me and writting 9 Rs. to give me back on ticket rather he can write to pay me back Rs.3 balanced. Then the rough started cursing me. He used all the bad words to me he came out of the ST towards me to hit me but one other ST person stop him by doing so. Then he fetch me in the bus like animals and get the bus to Morgaon police station.
In the police station Initially I asked to have complaint about him but as Police man suggest that it will affect me as well and looking in to inconvenience to other passenger I regretted back but asked conductor to write 3 Rs. in place of 9 Rs. Initially he regretted but after policeman insist him then he made the correction (The ticket showing the same is available with me).
Policeman also suggest him that he had to reveal his details to customers whenever they had asked but the roud fellow thereafter didnt give his name. He had mentioned some no. over the ticked under signature which is 52188.
In this case he looted few rupees of the other customers as well his intention was to grab my 9 Rs. aswell as he was knowing that I can not go for such small amount to Baramati to recover it.
This inccident made me thought whether I should travell to ST bus or not?
Requesting you hereby to check the details of the case and give me justice as I suffered from my sociel status and loss of Rs. 3 . According to other people such things are happening regularly. HEnce, requesting MAHAMANDAL to have classes for communication to the conductors so that they can behave in well manner with customers.

This is about local bus service Thane-Bhayander. Recently a traffic signal is constructed just after waghbill ST bus STOP

This has been observed that when ever the signal is green, bus drivers will not hault the bus at the stop. instead he will cross the

signal, which is about 50-100 mtrs away from bus stop


This is now a regular practise that drivers will only hault the bus when passenger wants to get down otherwise he will skip the stop. The frquency for this route is already

30 minutes. This is realy frustrating that People use to stand at bus stop for 30min to 1 hour and then the this people just ignore them

My name is Sunny Trama and i'm a resident of vashi, navi mumbai. I have to travel from vashi to mumbai central everyday. It's a relief that there are 2-3 ST busses every 10 minutes and they are usually 50 - 60% empty. Unfortunately, the conductors don't allow passengers because they say that the 'book is closed'. I'm guessing they have a process of enterring ticket numbers or something and submitting that to their office upon reaching the bus station. In order to finish this activity, the conductors fill the book in advance and then don't allow any passengers. Today, conductor number: 3960 blatantly refused to take up passengers. He admitted that he had closed the books. This has become a routine exercise for me. I have to argue with the buss drivers and conductors despite the bus being half empty and stopping to let people off. After waiting for 45 minutes or so, 1 out of 10 bus conductors lets me in ... I'm not sure if this complaint will do any good. There being no consequences for such behavior is what results in these employees running scot free and doing things as per their convenience. i've spent enough time online and couldn't even find a contact number or email address to report such behavior ... I think this country and its government is freaking hopeless at this point ... No body cares, no body bothers as long as they get their money ... There is little clarity or discipline on right and wrong for these people! I wish there was a system where a common man could be a secret auditor for government services and report such things. I hope Other people out there who get pushed to the extent of taking the time to complain find a place where people are listening ... im regular traveller of ST mahanmandal from my childhood. i usually travel towards khed, dapoli... from mumbai and pune. i just dont understand why these cant have sleeper bus in night? becoz the way ST bus seating arrangement is, its horrible. you cant even seat proper forget about sleeping in night. cant they make some good seating arrangment buses specially for night instead of changing only window style of the bus? from my childhood i can see changes on buses on colors basis or on windows of the bus. cant they think beyond that?

other query is, recently i was traveling from pune via bhor. how horrible that stand of bhor? there is no proper facility if someone has to go for toilet, there is no water. and if ladies got toilet then its impossible, its really disgusting. becoz ST khata charging too much but they cant improve the facilities.

i wish it shud go into private company hand, then they understand.

its very nice that S.T. started online booking but there is a small problem like a person can not reserve the seat from his required place. for example i want reservation from rajgurunagar to mumbai, you will get reservation only that bus which started from rajgurunagar. there are no. of buses which passes from same root but u cant book any of them.

I am working in Butibori & residing in Nagpur & I travel on this route by the bus facility provided by the company in which i am working, but sometimes when we get stucked into long traffic jams of about 4 to 5 Kms before railway crossing, we generally travel by foot upto railway crossing & after reaching there we try to get into the S.T.bus standing in jam near railway crossing. But the response which we get from the conductors is that sometimes they dont open the door & if we ask him to open the door, they reply that this is not a bus stop & i will not pick up anyone from here. but today the response which i got from the conductor of bus no.MH40 N8516 is I think very painful.As I got into the bus with 2 other friends of mine & as coductor saw 3 or 4 other people coming, he closed the door. Those people were standing in rain & were requesting to the conductor to open the door, but he didnt. And when we asked him to open the door, the exact wording we got from him was '' tumhe bhi niche utaar dunga samjhe. ye meri marzi hai kise baithaun kise nahi, chale ate hain mun utha ke''. So this was the whole case or you can say problem we people are facing. I am expecting a positive response from you. Request you to take the necessary action.

There is miss time table of buses of parbhani dist from last 4 months. In bus stand several bus are not found. The density of bus is decreases on parbhani-gangakhade road. Every bus on this road is full & carry’s about 75 peoples so because of this reason some bus are not stopped on village. We does not understand that hug amount of buses present in parbhani dist where they are disappears.

I am regular passanger of S.T from last 40 years.That is only for 100% safety of passangers.But last 5 years I am seeing that "bad behaviour of conductor with ladies passangers " in S.T.Because When any lady pasanger asked to conductor for seat (place in the S.T), conductor gave him a his side seat to that lady or give a seat like where his(conuctor) friend who is trevelling from that S.T, that seat will be offer to that lady.and at the night time these person(Conuctor or his friend (they all are S.T workers)do the bad work with that lady or girl, who will seated near/side with them. That lady cannot said to them because of SHAME.
I saw this TYPE of ensidance with lot of time with LADIES & GIRLS in S.T, travelling.from the S.T . Any gents asked for seat to sit him, conductor cannot give a seat:But there is any lady ore girl, who are single ore travelling with there husband or father, the only allowed to seat that lady or girl BESIDE OF HIM (CONDUCTOR) and ..This is daily routine of conductor.I saw this type of work did by conductor in S.T for MUMBAI, DEOGAD, VIJAYDURGA & KANAKAVALI DEPOT mostly.

I want to notice to you that there is separate seat in new 2x2 bus, for conductor in Driver's Cabin for Conductor and you must give the strict instructions to conductor that he must be seat at on that seat only.Other wise, One Day, there will be get a news to public that conductor did the rape on ladies passanger on S.T & peolple will cannot give support to S.T to travel. .So I requested to you that give the strict warning to change the behaviour of Yours S.T staff(mostly Conducator and there colligues) & strict warning to them.

I have a complaint against Warud Dept Dist Amravati. On 21st Nov 2013, they stopped most of regular buses. They notified us that, its because of we have given buses for some other purpose. What kind of management the dept manager doing by this? Is he not irresponsible in providing the service to public?
