Dear sir,
1. I registered a complaint on your toll free number [protected] 'with you hamesha' on 05 apr 17, i was assured redressal in 24 hrs but 3 days have since passed & no action has been taken on my complaint.
2. I am a serving army officer maj vivek rautela who bought xuv w8 on 05 oct 13 from punjab automobiles, ahmedabad in my wife's name maj sonika sharma.
3. We were highly satisfied & happy with the performance of the xuv & never faced any major issues.
4. Being a die hard fan of the xuv, on 03 nov 16 i bought the new xuv w10 from raj vehicles, patiala and was very delighted with the further upgrades in the new xuv.
5. On 30 mar 17, my xuv w8 which was being driven by my father in law in himachal pradesh abruptly came to a halt as the engine stopped!!! (Can i expect this from such a reputed company-mahindra???) after negotiating a turn downhill. He somehow managed to control the xuv to get it to a halt... Touchwood nothing happened to him or my other family members sitting inside.
6. I spoke to toll free number and was told to take the xuv to hamirpur service station being nearest to location after online payment of rs2875 which i did.
7. On 01 apr 17, the engine of my xuv was opened by baba service station at hamirpur (Without they intimating me or giving any estimate of probable expenditure) and they said that the turbocharger has failed!...
8. When i asked them for the reason for the failure of turbo... The tech manager mr ganga singh was unable to explain... Said that 'yeh to kisi bhi wajah se ho sakta hain'... Sir i will not take this for an answer! Safety is o[censored]tmost importance to me for my family & will not compromise on it... Come what may.
9. I was given service quotation of rs 54, 983 on 02 apr 17 without any estimate being given earlier.
10. I have been getting my xuv serviced regularly as per schedule & my last service of the xuv was done at raj vehicles patiala at 50, 000 kms so i met the service general manager mr jitender asking for the reason for the turbo failure... No satisfactory reply here also.
11. Now my grievances are as follows:-
(A) it has been today 10 days since the incident my grievance has not been redressed. As on date my xuv is still lying at baba service station hamirpur with the engine opened!!!
(B) how can the engine of my xuv is opened at only 57000 kms!!! That too after getting regular servicing done as per schedule. Now even after assembling the engine it would never be the same. (I have personally not heard of any vehicle engine being opened before a lakh or two kms on the speedo)
(C) what is the reason for the engine of my xuv to fail, causing the xuv to abrubtly halt... This could have led to a major accident also... Now i no longer feel safe in my new xuv as i feel that the engine might come to a halt anytime with dire consequences.
(D) who is responsible for the engine failure, is it the last servicing station who were not able to detect the problem or was there some manufacturing defect???... I sure need an answer for this question which has compromised the safety of the car
12. I am writing to you to share that now after this incident everyday when i get into my new xuv i do not any longer feel positive, safe or confident that i used to feel before. I think that i have invested too much & too soon on a wrong car that too twice!!!
13. Let me also tell you that sir, i am very hurt, depressed & in severe mental pain. Hoping to hear from you soon...

I Mr. Anish Anant Mahadik, the purchase a Mahindra KUV 100 K4 5 setter(M/s, Siddhivinayak Tours & Travels) from your NBS Showroom at Andheri (W), My first servicing due is 3000 Km and i am given from your G3 service station at Malad (W), (Morning appointment 9.30 am) but unfortunately my vehicle first service is bad response because their service provider & washing member are not perfect wash & clean (after service my vehicle given to me evening 8.00 pm). I am told to check my vehicle for some trouble ( Check the Nut Bold tightness/check the noice to seat bolt) but they are not solve my problem & they are given less response. In their service station the Air compressor is burned to their washing members fault in that reason my vehicle not clean inside the vehicle. The G3 service provider is told me the mahindra shiwari service station is closed, they are given first response to only purchase the vehicle at G3 showroom. so, my first service is bad experience.
