I have booked a tour package with Makemytrip. GoAir flights are cancelled till 12th and I have a package with flights included for 10th. Either issue a complete refund to my bank or arrange alternate flights as i don't have more funds left with me. booking ID NL[protected] It is urgent as the package is on 10th May that is next week. Needs to be resolved by tommorow.

    We had made a booking with MMT for a trip to Srinagar with a package of 2.28lacs. booking id NL[protected]. We made a initial payment of 23000. 2 days back we got a call from MMT informing us that the airline in the package has cancelled our tickets due to internal issue. Now MMT is asking us to pay for new flights or take cancellation fee of 15000. Why should we be penalized for a fault of airline ??? If we have made a booking thru MMT then MMT needs to resolve our issue not punish us by asking us to pay more money than the package. I would suggest everyone to not book a package thru MMT as their policies are not transparent and not at all consumer friendly. Incase of any issue you will only lose your money MMT will not take any responsibility. Please think 100 times before booking a package with MMT. We had the most pathetic experience with MMT and we would recommend others to not use their services. Phone no [protected].

      Hello Team,
      This is regarding my recent bookings and worst experience with makemytrip for to and fro journey from Bangalore to Bali and return from Bali to Bangalore.

      Onward journey from Bangalore to Bali - Booking id - NN22SD1EJ716N3BX4407, and
      Return Journey from Bali to Bangalore Booking id - NN2FP81E0DL0F0XF5750

      There is no direct flight to Bali from India, so we had to go through Malaysia or singapore.

      2 PNR's were created for a single journey from makemytrip
      Due to the creation of 2 PNR's we were asked for visa needs though we did not have any intention to stay in the stop over countries and had an immediate connecting flight.

      The same issue was for the return flight aswell which incurred me a loss of around 1, 35, 000 Rs (one lakh thirty five thousand INR) just for the flights and then room booking also cancelled- along with the cancellation of my vacation which was dreamt by the family.

      I learnt from a local transport agent that they take support of star alliance agencies to unify the PNR, makemytrip being such a global company, they donot seem to have any logic to unify the PNR which has caused a huge loss.

      Please help in filing a case and help me with the refunds

        Make my trip has a misleading pop up which says customers can lock ticket prices for a certain amount in 'Advance' and then pay 'Remaining amount' later. This tricks customers into thinking they are paying a certain percentage of the ticket price in advance to lock the price and later they can pay the remaining price of the ticket. But actually MMT charges the full ticket price later. The lock price is an additional amount that users end up paying but they do not mention that in the pop up, instead they claim that users pay 'Remaining amount' later. This is tricking innocent customers.

          This is to inform you that we are not provided accommodation in the the Hotel Fort View on 22/04/2023 against booking ID NH[protected] as the owner of the hotel Mr Talib Bhat(Ph :[protected]) is not aware of makemytrip booking. Further, the hotel comprises of dingy small rooms and rent is as low as Rs 1000 only. As I have paid Rs 4181 for accommodating 3 people, there is no such room in the hotel which can accomodate Three(3) people. I have submitted a complain and compensation request against request ID:[protected] on 22/04/23. Pl resolve this issue and refund the amount immediately

            - I had booked on Makemytrip hotel with a last minute cancellation option on[protected]. As per the cancellation policy mentioned in the ticket there was no cancellation fee till 11:59:59 on[protected]. There was an option of cancelling the tickets also in the application. However, when I tried to cancel the booking at 11:45 there was no cancellation option in the app, which was present last night.

            I then tried cancelling through the helpline wherein I was told that they are checking with the hotel. Several hours later I received a call from Mr. Ashutosh that the partner hotel has rejected the refund and therefore makemytrip will not be able to refund the amount.

              Scammed of 2.75 lacs rupees for International Holidays booking by MMT

              I booked MMT holidays package worth 2.75 lacs. While booking MMT employee told me that all the bookings (hotel etc) are refundable that's why prices were on the higher side. I could also see 1 rupee booking for the same hotels on MMT itself. They provided visa assistance (that was useless to be honest as their employee just copy pasted details from embassy website, and provided cover letter that had many grammatical errors), and my Visa got...

              I have booked the return tickets for my parents from Ahmedabad to Melbourne where I paid INR 37, 388 for booking extra legroom seats. Singapore Airlines canceled the extra legroom seats for Singapore to Melbourne and Melbourne to Singapore legs of the journey without any intimation. Upon contacting Singapore Airlines they advised connecting with the MakeMyTrip directly as the booking was done through them which is my biggest mistake.
              I have been reaching out to customer care 7-8 times in last 1 month and every time I was told the issue is escalated but nothing has been done till now. It's not the small amount for which Makemytrip is not owning the responsibility.

                Booking done but bus did not arrive at the pickup location

                This is in regards with the my booking ID - NU[protected].

                I booked the bus but it did not arrive at the pickup location even after 1 hour of scheduled pick up. I tried to contact the customer care of MMT but no reply from them.

                I faced so much inconvenience as I was left hanging by the bus operator who was not picking up the phone at all.

                Please resolve this issue and refund my amount as...

                I booked a room today on 01/05/23 for my uncle and aunt and as soon as they reached the location, there was no such property. They contacted the hotel authority, they said that the hotel is 18 kms away from that location. What is the use of filters then? And also, the hotel authority aur MakeMyTrip as well, is not helping in getting by my refund.

                  Dear team
                  I have booked a ticket from MMT from DXB to Del 14 April and DEL to DXB on 6th May
                  I had to cancel the booking for 6th of may

                  I had contacted MMT team before taking my flight on 14th and i requested them to cancel the booking of 6th May,
                  I spoke to several representatives like gourav, abhishek, Rohit and priya
                  Everyone informed that you the cancellation of the booking will not be feasible as the booking is done through one PNR
                  They informed me to take the flight of 14th April and once the flight is completed put a cancellation request for your 6th May booking, there will be charges but you will get some refund. MMT CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE TOLD ME THAT THERE WILL BE SOME REFUND

                  Now when I contacted them after 14th april they told me that there will be no refund!!!

                  I dont know what is wrong with this company, they are clearly cheating the people, i trusted the customer service representative and they just told me that there will be no refund!

                  I want my money back as soon as possible.

                    I had booked a hotel on Make my trip on 23rd of April. I was at the property and the property site was down so they asked me to book online and show them the invoice to get a hotel room.
                    Since I was already at the property I didn’t choose for cancellation option.
                    I made it 100% sure that the date selected was correct : 23rd april to 24th April.
                    BUT after booking the date on the invoice showed as 25-26th april.

                    I immediately(within 2 min including the MMT IVR on their call) called MMT multiple times to report the issue and het this sorted (get the issue fixed and my date changed).
                    I called MMT around 8 times and they kept saying its not refundable and hotelier is not receiving the call.
                    I had to pay the hotieler again the same amount to get a stay at that moment.

                    MMT should have checked why and what went wrong with their app there could be 100 people facing the same issue and they will get away by saying” ITS NOT REFUNDABLE “ customer’s issues are not a matter of joke. MMT was never like that before… MMT DIDN’T TAKE RESPONSIBILITY OF THEIR MISTAKE and hence it costed me… I need the refund as i know 100% its not my mistake….

                    No Response Yet, They closed all the requests that I had raised.
                    This is a FRAUD, The issue was with their app which made incorrect booking - The are Just Saying its non refundable and going away I raised the complaint immediately within 1 Minute of Confirmation. Saying there is issue with your app but they kept Saying its non refundable and My money was gone I see many suck Cases here ... MMT Needs to Refund my money back they just cant get along by saying its NON REFUNDABLE Just Imagine 100 People facing the same issue 2800x100=2, 80, 000 Stuck for no reason MMT this is a SCAM

                      I would like to register a formal complaint against Makemytrip for not intimating me the change of timing for my flight IX-544 from DXB to Trivandrum from 7 AM to 8.45 Pm, April 29, 2023. I did not receive any intimation for the change of flight from Makemytrip and reached the airport for check in at 5 AM on the 23rd. I was told by Air India staff that the change of timing was intimated to all third parties on March 22, 2023. I have also registered my complaint with the staff in Dubai, who have added my complaint, and noted the time of my arrival on the booking reference sheet. Moreover, they issued me the document with the new PNR, which was different from the one that Makemytrip gave me. It was Makemytrip's responsibility to have informed this change to me as I have booked it via them.

                      Just to give some context, because of the lack of communication on the part of Makemytrip, I was able to complete online check-in for the same PNR on April 28th. I am attaching the screenshot below. The wait caused me immense inconvenience as I had a meeting that I was supposed to attend at 7.30 PM IST in Trivandrum on the 29th, and a later flight did not help me as I could not attend the meeting since I arrived only on April 30th by 2.25 AM. If I had arrived by 12.40 PM, I could have attended my meeting. Booking a ticket doesn't mean that the third party can put me in a different flight without intimating me as it is a clear violation of the rights that I have as a passenger.

                      I request that this be looked into so that this doesn't happen in the future, and I need to file a claim for the loss of time and money that was caused as a result of this.

                          I want to register complaint against MakeMyTrip.

                          I haven't travelled on 15th April because the number which was provided by MakeMyTrip of driver, driver was not picking up the call and even I didn't received any Bus Number.

                          I confirmed this issue before pickup time that driver is not picking call and MakeMyTrip customer Subarna Sarkar representative acknowledged and also tried to call from her end as well till 05:30PM and driver didn't picked her call as well, finally customer care representative Subarna Sarkar called me and said at 05:20 PM that "take any alternative and you can leave as you already waited at boarding point from 04:10 PM to 05:40 more than hour" Than I took alternative and came back delhi.

                          And I informed same to Subarna Sarkar She said that "okay even she also escalated this issue and confirmed me with complaint I'd[protected] over emil and said you will get refund soon.

                          but now as per below email MakeMyTrip lying and bus operators also lying said that I travelled but I didn't even if they will check from there customer care representative Subarna Sarkar she will also confirm same but MakeMyTrip not doing proper investigation.

                            TRIP ID - Kashmir + Ladakh Trip (ID NL[protected]
                            The trip was a total mess all thanks to make my trip on ground team, they could have averted the situation by taking pro active measures but looks like they never wanted to. What is the use of having such support system if they cannot take immediate action. I have detailed the problems faced which you can go through.

                            20 APRIL 2023
                            (PER PLAN ARRIVAL)
                            INCIDENT
                            The avalanche took place on 16 APRIL 2023 and the road is closed since then, if this is the case why did not Meher informed us about this when we met him on first day i.e. 20 APRIL 2023.

                            22 APRIL 2023
                            (PER PLAN - Stay at hotel “THE MONTREAL” and Sight – Seeing)
                            INCIDENT -
                            Spoke to Meher and asked him if anything can be altered. The basic idea was to salvage the trip. But the only response I received was he will arrange a call with CS Team. Since they are on ground team, I was expecting a better response from them rather than directing to CS Team.

                            23 APRIL 2023
                            (PER PLAN - Checkout from “THE MONTREAL” and by road to “HOTEL RANGYUL KARGIL”)
                            INCIDENT -
                            No alternative was provided neither any help from so called on ground team.
                            Received CS call and was advised to bear my own expenses.
                            No help on transportation as well. In fact the assigned Driver IMTIYAZ claimed that everything is OK and was eager to pick us, had we trusted him we would have been in total mess. My point is if Meher etc knows about the blockage who is issuing commands for pickup?
                            Reported this to Meher / Pratik but the call went as through its not at all their problem with a simple and patent reply that “we understand and will arrange a call with CS Team”
                            In short I was on my own and had to bear all expenses.

                            24 APRIL 2023
                            INCIDENT -
                            Had already lost hope of any help and booked flight ticket to Mumbai

                            I have initiated word with Gaurav from CS team about refunds, while this is also taking time. There were few updates given to me and I cannot digest simply because I am expected to bear the brunt of mistakes from MMT Team. From whatever I have been told so far.


                            HOTEL RANGYUL 1 NIGHT STAY – I am given to understand that only 50% will be refunded, why so? When things were known to Meher why did he not action and cancel plus made us aware. Why should I be bearing this loss?

                            HOTEL ROYAL HOLIDAY HOTEL 3 NIGHT STAY – I am given to understand that only 2 nights will be refunded. Again when we cannot reach Ladakh why was this not actioned?

                            I am yet to hear about 3rd hotel and transportation refund which will be a bigger chunk. Is there a way you could expedite the matter?

                              I have recently booked a train ticket from Gudivaada junction to Anantapur Railway station on 24th April, 2023. The booking was unsuccesful but I did not get my refund back even though the expected time limit is completed. When I visited the customer support portal, it is showing that the amount was credited. Then I opted for create ticket option to get the status, it is also not working showing that something is wrong.

                                (PNR: RG7QKA): Due to schedule change, my SpiceJet flight SG 3701 from Delhi-Rajkot dated April 28, 2023 has been cancelled. but no refund and information recieved from Make my trip india office about cancellation & refund . I went to airport on 28th April then only came to know about the flight cancellation. I wasted my time to wake up early in the morning by booking to & fro transport fright. & booking of hotels

                                  I am not able to delete my MakeMyTrip account. There is no such option given. Customer care numbers are useless and auto response. There is no person who can help you on phone. This company is simply useless. I booked hotel and by mistake the booking is deleted. I wanted to re-do the same booking But there is no option. No live chat option to help customers. Email ids are [protected]@...

                                  How to reach them for any queries ? I would prefer not to continue with such irresponsible enterprise. so I want to delete my account.

                                    I have booked a hotel online and hotel pictures was different and when I visited the hotel was different.
                                    I called customer care support they said you can book another hotel and we will provide you resolution within 72hour.
                                    But end of the day I received a call that they won’t refund, it’s my fault that I left the hotel even it was a completely different building and very scary and dirty room.
                                    MakeMyTrip team is very insensitive towards their customer.
                                    It was a horrible experience, I won’t recommend anyone to book hotel from makemytrip.
