Me and daughter, booked a SuperTownHouse in Jaipur through MMT. It was a special discount scheme advertised by MAKEMYTRIP. Unfortunately, I was overbooked. The alternate property (Brahmaputra Palace, Jaipur) I was sent a link to the location, which was sadly and surprisingly far from SuperTownhouse, my initial booking. That was the first mistake MMT made by giving me a location very far away from my original booking. Do they not check the location when providing alternative arrangements?

And when I reached Brahmaputra Palace at 11 pm at midnight, I realized it was in an old area, and the building was dilapidated. The room had paint peeling off and broken furniture. Maybe it was an old lodge. How can MMT even advertise or recommend such places to their female clients without verifying the authenticity of Barhamaputra? I called Cust care again (twice), and the agents kept asking me for pictures!!! So insensitive, careless, and very unprofessional of MMT. I completely trusted MMT reviews and landed in Jaipur in the middle of the night. My daughter and I were shocked by the state of the place MMT provided as an alternative.

I had taken an airport taxi to reach the Brahmaputra Palace, and the kind taxi driver told me he would help me out. He made a few calls and I got a last-minute room at Hotel Bellavista.

So you see my issue with MMT. I lost my payment on SuperTownhouse, and I had to pay 8200/- Rs extra at my new location, and also since the location was so far away from my initial booking, I had to incur extra taxi charges of more than Rs, 6000/- for my commute to Manipal University Jaipur. My initial booking, Super Townhouse, was near this university. That is a loss of more than 16000 INR due to MMT's carelessness and insensitive customer care.

And the delay in resolving this issue!!! Unbelievable delay. Such a successful platform like MMT is making such pathetic delays in customer feedback, especially after such a traumatic experience for two women customers. an di am being rfused refund due to hotel policies, and thats what MMt is claiming.

    I had a terrible experience with this booking. I had fully paid in advance for a non-refundable apartment in Vienna for my family of 8. However, upon arrival, we did not receive the key. Instead, a man showed up at the property and started shouting aggressively, which made us feel extremely unsafe, especially with children present.

    Despite making multiple calls and follow-ups, we were repeatedly told that the local team would contact us – but no one ever did. We were left stranded outside the apartment with no help, no access, and no responsibility taken by their team.

    This level of negligence is unacceptable. They took the full payment and then completely vanished when we needed support the most. I strongly urge others to stay away from this service – it is unreliable, unprofessional, and cannot be trusted.become of which we have to again book hotel on spot which was too expensive

      I booked a flight from Vientiane to Kolkata (for May 26, 2025) through MakeMyTrip on May 21 around 9:30 PM. The payment went through successfully — I even have the transaction proof — but even after more than 24 hours, I’ve not received a confirmed ticket or PNR.

      What’s worse is the absolutely unhelpful customer support experience. I’ve called multiple times, and each time I’m just told to “please wait 1 or 2 hours.” No real updates. No ownership. No resolution. It's like speaking to a wall.

      This has caused tremendous stress, especially as the travel date approaches. MakeMyTrip's lack of accountability and urgency is deeply disappointing. If a customer pays for a service, the minimum expectation is timely delivery or at least responsive and effective support — neither of which was provided.

      Extremely dissatisfied with the experience. Would not recommend booking international flights with them unless they improve their support drastically.

          I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction regarding a recent bus booking I made through your platform.

          Travel Date: 05 April 2025
          From: Ludhiana
          To: Katra
          Passenger Names: Priti Singh, Raju Singh, Aditi Singh
          Total Amount Paid: ₹2985.85
          After booking, I was contacted by the bus conductor who informed me that the bus would not be departing from Ludhiana as listed on your platform, but from Chandigarh. Due to this misinformation, he asked me to cancel all three tickets and assured me that I would receive a full refund within 7–10 working days.
          I followed his instructions and canceled the tickets, but I have not received any refund till date. It has now been over a week, and despite multiple attempts, I have not been able to reach your customer support via phone or through the app. I also requested a callback on your platform, but I have not received any response from your team.
          This situation has caused significant inconvenience and financial stress. I expect a prompt resolution and full refund of ₹2985.85 at the earliest. If I do not receive a response within the next 3 working days, I will be compelled to initiate legal action and file a complaint on consumer grievance platforms.
          Looking forward to your urgent response.

            Dear MakeMyTrip Team,

            My name is Mahesh, and I had booked a hotel at VITS Shalimar Ankleshwar for the dates 8th to 9th April via your platform.

            Booking ID: NH[protected]

            Due to a change in my travel plans, I intended to shift the booking dates. However, I was unable to find any option to modify the dates through the app or website. As a result, I had no choice but to cancel the booking.

            Following the cancellation, I received a cancellation summary which clearly shows that the refund amount after deductions should be zero. However, I have not received any refund so far, and it appears that no amount has been disbursed.

            I am attaching the relevant screenshots for your reference. Kindly review the case and assist in processing the refund at the earliest.

              I had booked a train ticket from Nagpur to Jaipur (12969) through the MakeMytrip application but due to a change in my travel plan, I cancelled the ticket on March 20, 2025, but even after 4-5 days today, I have not received the ticket money refund. Since I want to get another ticket, I have to refund the ticket money as soon as possible.

                I had booked ticket through Makemytrip on 4-April-23 for three persons from Phuket-Delhi-Mumbai, reference booking ID NN28QTLKY3224H6A9729.
                The flights were cancelled by GoFirst due to operational challenges and now the GoFirst is bancrupt.

                I have been chasing Makemytrip but there is no refund.

                It is extremely important for me to get the refund as I am a retired person and I have put in my hard earned money to book these tickets.

                  Recently we made our airline booking through this aggregator and were thoroughly defrauded by their unethical and illegal operations and activities.
                  This was a Disastrous Experience and this Customer Suffered Inconvenience & Loss - Reg Booking Reference - WUHHGR thro' Make My Trip / by Malaysian Airlines, a booking made on 14.02.25 for a trip commencing 17.02.25 to 28.02.25 – Chennai/Melbourne/Chennai.
                  Here is a brief narration of the terrible experience (both, booking as well as journey) we had, making our booking with Malaysian Airlines through Make My Trip. This is to bring to your notice and attention how the aggregators are ruining the name and reputation of standard and quality airlines like Malaysian Airlines and probably others too, and in the process literally killing their customers! Recently, we were called upon to make an urgent trip to Melbourne, Australia in order to attend to a domes􀆟c emergency. On the 14.02.'25, in order to make the booking, we initiated/investigated the process thro' the Malaysian Airlines website. However, for one particular leg of the journey, ie from KL to Melbourne, on the night of 17th Feb '25, the MA website notified us that there were no seats available! Since the date was crucial and the travel an urgency, we were forced to investigate through an aggregator, namely MMT. MMT also said the same, that there were no seats available for the flight on the night of 17th Feb 25. Fearing that flights/seats were fast getting filled up, we went ahead with this booking only but now with a layover in KL of 16Hours! When we arrived KL on the evening of the 17th Feb 25, we proceeded to the Malaysian Airlines Transfer Desk to check if any other flights/seats were available to Melbourne. And surprisingly enough, there were! The staff there informed us that there were 8 seats available, in that very same flight, so they were perplexed as to why we had made this booking with a 16Hour layover. He also expressed his concern that there was not enough 􀆟me to follow through with the process and the procedures required and in our best interest advised us against making any changes at that late hour.
                  An initially indicated fare of Rs 82948/- was quickly, expertly and miraculously hiked to 87507/- as indicated below, by MMT.
                  The discount of Rs 2000/- which was on offer, was never received by us!
                  MMT charged us / made us pay for ONE seat and failed to issue or make available the remaining three seats! All along they conveyed the impression that the preferred seats were included in the initial fare displayed, the amount of Rs 82948/- and that no additional amounts were due or payable for the seats chosen or for baggage or for meals. As a mater of practice, we have never paid any additional charges either for seats or for baggage and Malaysian Airlines has never charged us either! MMT showed us one seat only, for the fourth and last leg of the journey and conveying the impression that the other seats were selected and paid for in the price shown /paid. Which was not the case. We had to purchase this separately from Malaysian Airlines! At an additional cost of Rs 2948.00
                  Though we purchased our travel insurance through MMT through a link that they had offered, we found that the insurance was issued to their name only. This was never indicated to us prior to the purchase of the insurance. We paid for the insurance in full, but they got the policy issued in their own name as the Policy Holder. This is not only unethical but is also illegal. And they gave us no indica􀆟on about this BEFORE we made the payment! This amounted to Rs 1572.00
                  The ini􀆟al fare indica􀆟on was the sum of Rs 82948.00 which was quickly and cleverly hiked to Rs 87507.00 which was the amount we had to pay to MMT. This included a number of spurious and dubious charges, a difference of Rs 4559.00
                  Though we were specifically under the impression that the flight we had chosen did not require us to pay any additional for baggage, seats and meals, MMT charged us for the same.
                  All in all, a totally useless and miserable experience. While we have incurred loss, have experienced unnecessary inconvenience and discomfort and were aggrieved,
                  The excess amount charged by MMT due to their spurious and dubious accounting and other malicious practices is Rs 4559.00 plus 2000.00 plus Rs 2948.00 which equals to Rs 9507.00 This amount is claimed as a refund from MMT for the immediate tangible loss due to excess amount charged by Make My Trip, due to unfair and unethical trade practices, which amounts to cheating.

                      I have filed my 60-day single entry visa for United Arab Emirates through MMT on 17th March 2025 and the website mentions that it will be filed on 19th March 2025. But today is[protected] and the status is still not changed. The documentation requirement includes my scanned copies of my passport first page and last page + my passport size colored photo + my hotel booking confirmation + my return ticket and I have uploaded everything on the website. I have contacted the customer support team over the phone which is given on the website which is [protected]. I made a call on around 9:30 in the morning on 20th March but the executive I was connected too clearly denies they don't handle visa queries and she don't even have number for visa customer care for makemytrip. She told me to check on the website even though I clearly mentioned that the website has given this number and I can't see any specific number related to visa. My travel date is 13th April and I have booked my flights and everything and right now I'm so tensed about visa situation and money paid to MakeMyTrip.

                          MakeMyTrip has proven to be a shameless, money-grabbing company that lacks both customer service and human decency. I had a medical emergency and was physically unable to travel. Naturally, I requested a simple date change or at least a partial refund; but what did I get in return? A robotic copy-paste response refusing to help in any way.

                          Despite explaining my situation, their customer support team showed zero empathy and happily hid behind so-called “policy restrictions.” If you think booking through MMT gives you any safety net in case of emergencies, think again. The reality is, once they have your money, they don’t care about you, your circumstances, or even basic human ethics.

                          Instead of acting as a responsible platform, they shove all blame onto hotels and take no accountability for helping their own customers. This company is nothing more than a middleman that takes commissions while leaving customers stranded when they need help the most. If they cannot intervene in genuine emergencies, what is the point of their service?

                          Desirable Resolution:
                          Full refund for my booking due to medical emergency.
                          Immediate intervention and change in policies to accommodate genuine emergency cases in the future.

                          MMT has a duty towards its customers - not just its profits.
                          Let’s see if they care enough to act.

                            I had boarded a cab from Jaipur to Gurgaon on Sat 1st March via Makemytrip.

                            As I deboarded in the night I could not see all items and left my goggles in the vehicle. There after I have been reaching out to the driver and he said he will give it back in Jaipur as he belong there. When I came in Jaipur he said he is 50km away and will give when he comes. I reached out to his Jaipur travel agent Sharma Cab Services[protected]. He said he has got the googles and asked me to transfer Rs300 for rapido to deliver on same day. I transferred on Tuesday afternoon and thereafter he is not picking the call or informing me.

                            Please help me get my goggles back and take strict action of this driver/cab service for harassing the passengers.

                                "Horrible Experience with MakeMyTrip – Zero Accountability & Mental Stress!"

                                I am beyond disappointed with MakeMyTrip’s unprofessionalism and lack of accountability. I made a fully paid and confirmed hotel booking for my family’s stay in Dubai, only to be informed later that it was canceled due to a "technical glitch" on MMT’s end. Despite multiple emails and follow-ups, all I got was a call from their so-called “Customer Delight” team—offering no real resolution!

                                This experience has caused immense stress, financial loss, and emotional distress for me and my family. I booked this trip to relax, not to deal with mental agony and endless follow-ups for something that was entirely MMT’s fault. Their silence and inaction only prove how little they care about their customers.

                                I urge everyone to think twice before trusting MakeMyTrip with your hard-earned money. If this issue is not resolved immediately, I will have no choice but to escalate this matter to consumer forums, legal authorities, and social media influencers to expose this negligence.

                                    I booked a bus ticket from Prayagraj to janhsi on 16th feb around 9:30 pm and the bus was about to leave at 11:30 pm from nehru parking which is 3 km away from my house and around 10 pm i got a call from the bus operator that the pickup point has been changed and the bus is standing on kaushambhi bypass which is 39 km away and google map showed it will take approx 2 hours to reach there so i called customer service for a refund and they denied saying that its not in their hand the bus operator is not giving approving the refund. Its a scam i went to the nehru parking and there were almost 30 people waiting for the bus which never came as all of them got the same call to reach kaushambi bypass and its Mahakumbh time in prayagraj so can drivers were saing they will not go that far as they only want to go to sangam .

                                      I, Kartik Isher, a resident of Banglaore, am writing to lodge a formal complaint regarding the booking I made through MakeMyTrip, wherein the cancellation policy was misrepresented at the time of booking.

                                      When I initially made the reservation on MakeMyTrip, the website clearly mentioned that the booking had a free cancellation policy until 5th Feb, 2025 till 1:59 pm. Based on this information, I proceeded to make the payment. However, after completing the payment, I saw better deal and wanted to cancel this to book that but I was shocked to see that the cancellation policy had changed to non-refundable, meaning I would not be eligible for any refund in case of cancellation, despite the prior information provided.

                                      This abrupt change in the cancellation policy is misleading, and I believe it constitutes an unfair trade practice as per the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. The representation of the booking conditions at the time of purchase is deceptive and caused significant inconvenience to me.

                                      In an attempt to resolve this issue, I contacted MakeMyTrip’s customer service. Unfortunately, my experience was unsatisfactory. I was put on hold for an extended period, and despite requesting to speak with a supervisor or higher authority, my request was not honored, and I received no resolution. I am adding a video as evidence, where I made the same booking for the same hotel, and until the payment step, the website still displayed the free cancellation option.

                                      I have already tried to resolve this issue through customer service, but since there has been no response or resolution from MakeMyTrip, I am left with no choice but to escalate the matter to the Hon'ble Consumer Forum.

                                      I am seeking the following relief through the Consumer Forum:

                                      A full refund of the payment made for the booking, as the cancellation policy was misleading and changed after payment.
                                      Compensation for the inconvenience caused by the wrongful cancellation policy and the failure to adhere to the advertised terms.
                                      Please find attached the relevant documents, including the booking confirmation, screenshots of the website showing the free cancellation policy, the communication with MakeMyTrip’s customer service team, and the video as proof of my claims.

                                      I respectfully request the Hon'ble Consumer Forum to take appropriate action and provide me with the necessary relief.

                                        Dear Team,

                                        I am writing regarding my bus booking from Hyderabad to Allahabad on 24th January 2025, with Booking ID NU[protected]. Unfortunately, I received a regret message via WhatsApp from Dhanunjaya Travels stating that my journey was canceled due to a vehicle breakdown.

                                        Here are the details of the message:

                                        Dear Passenger,
                                        😔 We regret to inform you that, Due to vehicle breakdown your journey on 24/01/2025 is cancelled with Dhanunjaya Travels.

                                        Dhanunjaya Travels

                                        Further, when I contacted the bus operator on their provided number, my calls went unanswered, and I did not receive any communication from them.

                                        To address this, I filed a claim for a refund on your platform, as the cancellation was entirely the operator's fault. However, I was extremely disappointed to see that my claim was closed without resolution. Your response mentioned that the operator denied canceling the bus, which directly contradicts the message I received from them.

                                        I have attached all relevant screenshots and proof for your reference, including:

                                        My attempts to contact them, which went unanswered

                                        This cancellation caused me great inconvenience, as I had to make an urgent alternate booking, incurring additional expenses. Since the cancellation was not initiated by me, I strongly request a full refund of my booking amount.

                                        If my issue is not resolved promptly, I may be forced to escalate this matter to higher authorities. I hope for your kind understanding and quick resolution.
