Not processing refund

Booking ID - NH[protected]

Booked a room in a resort being fully aware of its no free cancellation policy. Unfortunately there was heavy rain and road slides on the way to the property so we could not make it. Property owner agreed for complete refund and gave email approval to MMT. Its been more than a week and I am not getting proper response from customer care. No refunds yet. Everytime they just say we will call back...

Today 28th Nov Around 26 transactions were initiated within 30 minutes through my Amazon Pay Later account, those are fraudulent transactions.

    Dear MakeMyTrip,

    I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the delay in processing my refund for booking NR[protected] . I booked a Bangalore - Pondicherry PUDUCHERRY EXP / 16573 train ticket on[protected] and subsequently cancelled it on[protected].

    According to your refund policy, I am entitled to a full refund of ₹4238 within 4 working days from the cancellation date. However, it has been almost one month since my cancellation and I haven't received the refund.

    I contacted your customer support team on[protected] and was informed that the refund was processed on[protected] to[protected]. However, I have not received any confirmation or received the funds back into my account.

    I am extremely disappointed with the lack of communication and delayed processing time for my refund. It's causing me financial hardship and inconvenience.

    Therefore, I request MakeMyTrip to:

    Urgently investigate this matter and provide an explanation for this delay.
    Issue the pending refund of ₹4238 to my original payment method ([protected]@ybl) immediately.
    Inform me of the expected timeline for receiving the refund.
    I have attached a copy of the cancellation confirmation email for your reference.

    There's a mistake of name and account holder name are different to clear that the main payment was made by Naman Khandelwal with a upi id ([protected]@ybl) UTR[protected].

        My return flight on 2nd of May 2023 from SFO to Bangalore was cancelled by United / Lufthansa airlines. As the United Airlines flights from SFO to Frankfurt were being disrupted on many days during the last week of April 2023 ( these details are available in flight history o[censored]nited Airlines) my flight was cancelled by the airlines without providing any alternative for my onward journey from Frankfurt to Bangalore. Over phone both United Airlines and Make My Trip assured me a full refund of $482 USD or equivalent Indian currency. ( evidence-voice recordings on 29th & 30th of April 2023 ))After making several calls to Make My Trip since May ‘23 finally On 13th of August 2023
        I received an email from Mr. Arijit De that they need to contact United Airlines and that they will come back to me within 72 hours. Reference number is:[protected]. Now it is nearing 4 months and there is no update on this, and it is more than 6 months the refund is not settled fully. When contacted the airlines they said that we have to contact Make my Trip as we have booked tickets through them. Also Please note flight LH 9053 ( Lufthansa) is operated by United Airlines UA 58

          This mail is regarding inconvenience caused to me on 09th Nov as I had a booking with ATS Travel bus from Delhi to Lucknow got cancelled just 30 prior to departure and still refund not raised even no compensation made by make my trip on last moment I booked another ticket due to Diwali fare waa skyrocket.

            Bus ticket cancellation policies and refund amount

            On 22-11-23 i have booked one ticket from hyderbad gopal to madhura wada, visakhapatnam on[protected] of morning star travels bus.
            Actually i was intended on[protected], but in a hurry i have booked on[protected]. Bus timings are
            picup -11:45.
            Later i realised with in a minute and tried to cancel the ticket but It is showing zero refund. How is it possible.
            Then I tried to call to MMT, but no use, direct voice...

            I have booked my flight ticket in your website make my trip from Dubai to Mumbai and Mumbai to coimbatore on the date of 4th of December. I changed the ticket date from 4th December to 15th of November which is preponed the date of travel for some emergency purpose (I made date change on 11th November) for that your team members said it will cost 20000 Inr so I paid through my card. They said they will be sending the ticket within 4 hours so I waited more than 6 hours even though I didn't receive any e-ticket till 12th November again I called and asked your team they said ticket price is changed while booking so we will refund the amount. They sent the mail also for requesting a refund. Second time again I paid 19622 Inr for the same date change and I boarded the flight. From then till date (23.11.23) the call centre team is not at all responding properly every time they are holding my call for a long time and without proper response or answer they are disconnecting the call. Every day I need to call and say the same full lengthy story to the person who is picking my call. For this itself I lost my time and peacefulness. Kindly give me the refund fast which will be more helpful since I traveled for an emergency purpose I can't wait anymore. I need my refund immediately

                I recently had 2 flights, GAU-BLR (PNR CVMCJV) and BLR_IXE (PNR W6JRXR), cancelled by the respective carriers with option for cancellation with full refund. I took the option, expecting full refund of the amounts paid to Makemytrip. Instead, I received refund of Rs. 13, 912 versus payment of Rs.15, 022 for the GAU-BLR flight. For the BLR-IXE flight, the refund was Rs. 6, 254 whereas I had paid Rs. 6, 882.

                I expect to pay penalties and forteiture of booking fees in cases where I cancel the flight. However, when the airline cancels the flight, I expect to get FULL refund of the amount I paid.

                Kindly refund the additional amounts owed (Rs. 1, 110 for the GAU-BLR flight and Rs. 628 for the BLR-IXE flight) as early as possible. In case the full refund is not possible, please explain why. If i have to pay penalties for flights cancelled by airline, I will be hesitant to use Makemytrip in the future.

                  I had been given a Future Travel Voucher of Rs. 7500 by MMT. However, every time I put in the voucher it is saying that it is an invalid code. The voucher was given to me in May 2023 with a validity of one year. I have tried calling and emailing MMT. Please help.

                        I had made a reservation (NH[protected]) for a Hotel for a stay starting October 20th 2023, more than a month in advance. After traveling 30 hours on a plane, when I was trying to check in to the hotel, I was informed that this reservation had been canceled way back and MakeMytrip was informed.

                        MMT never cared to inform me. I tried to reach out to MMT in the middle of the night, and let me say it is not easy to reach out to their customer service. I was falsely assured by a certain Mr Vikki (DO NOT TRUST HIM), that the issue will be resolved by the morning and I should simply give my card to pre-authorize the room.

                        As the night turned to day, no response came from Mr Vikki or anyone from MMT. I tried reaching out to them many times as our one day reservation was coming to an end. Again I was assured that Mr Vikki will call in 20-30 minutes, but that call never came.

                        I posted this on Twitter and I got another assurance that this will be resolved in 72 hours. It has been 144 hours since the incident, there has been no resolution. I had to re-book the room at rack rates. MMT has not bothered to ask about it.

                        My suggestion is not to trust MMT and especially their customer care.

                        They have no clue about what they are doing. My original booking amount has also not been returned yet despite 6 days of fully knowing that the reservation was canceled.

                        I used to be MMT Black member but this whole experience has left me jarred at the abysmal state of customer care such an organisation has.

                          Visa Booking ID : NV[protected]

                          I had booked for visa from make my trip for my entire family on 8th October, today is 17 October but still make my trip has not processed my application. My travel date is very near. I have done all the other bookings. the customer care is not responding at all. I have also visited their local office but no luck. No one is answering calls or mails.

                          please help ASAP.

                          I had to visit Make my trip office personally to get the issue resolved. It was very bad experience of booking visa via MMT.

                          Make My Trip has said that they have submitted my application but I still see "No Record Found" on UAE Embassy website. Please help me, I have booked hotels and flights for my entire family, just a few days are left. If I don't get my visa on time I will suffer heavy money loss.

                            For my booking NV[protected], I see that the embassy has issued the VISA on 12th October, but this has not been shared to me by MakeMyTrip visas. Request you to please look into this on urgency.

                                  We had booked a trip to bali with make my trip. We had paid in advance for the full trip which included day wise itinerary of places to be covered. However, many places were skipped when we were in Bali which were part of our itinerary. We have complained about it multiple times with the company. However, they are closing it without any solution. We want refund of the services not provided for our trip.

                                    Dear MMT Team,

                                    This is the worst experience I got during my Stay at the hotel booked through your site which was further worsened by the kind of support i got from your Side and customer support.

                                    In spite of repeated long-duration calls no action was taken.I am again writing down my experience and the harassment myself my family and has gone through because of your poor service, .

                                    On 29 September we checked in the hotel, As soon as we entered our room (105, 101) . the AC of both rooms was not working and TV was not operational, .The cable operator was called and he corrected it but AC was still dysfunctional for which the excuse was given, the electricity is not there and they don't have backup . Nothing is specpcified on your site for this issue.They are charging so heavy amount for such poor service.if we wud have known this prior definitely we wud have gone for some other better hotel .

                                    In the evening we ordered our dinner around 7:40 so that we can get it on time as we ordered non-veg things. after 1 hour + around 8:45 pm we started asking for the status as kids started asking for food to which they kept saying 5 min -5 min, giving excuse they provided fresh food .finally at 9:30 we went to dinning hall after 2 hours of ordering food where still no update was there on our food our kids got cranky.we called the manager who didn't turn up .there was one more fellow who was behaving as if the owner of hotel and was very rude

                                    they brought the food in hurry at around 9:45 which was uncooked, still raw with chapatis almost burnt .as we didn't had any option at this time, our kids somehow managed to eat as they were hungry .

                                    when we called your customer support, the fellow spoke to hotel manager to which they replied we have eaten the food.You please explain me at that time around 10 with 3 kids where we wud have gone where there is nothing to commute .

                                    The staff, the managers, the caretaker all were very rude, least bothered about customers.

                                    the calls i made to your customer support also was only supporting the hotel people and i got no resolution

                                    Please check this issue asap as there was no followup from your end neither i can see any of my tickets raised during that time in the system now.

                                    what kind of customer support your are providing why cant i see any of my request raised for that day

                                    I need refund for my Dinner alone which was around 1400 .else I am going to take legal action against your team.
