Hi,

We had a Holiday booking on the Makemytrip to Andaman,
Due to Flights issue, booking didn't go well, it has been cancelled.

Now, I'm unable to contact makemytrip for the refund of the cancelled booking.

Booking ID NL[protected]

It is told the refund would be processed within 10 working days, no updates on the refund yet.

Now i'm unable to contact them, the refund is showing failed.

    We booked our 2 bus tickets from Delhi to Manali on MakeMyTrip on 7july2023. The bus changed 3 times on our trip due to break down and permit issues. When we reached Mandi, we were asked come out of the bus due to some break down issue. Driver said that no other bus will come and we need to go on our own by taking another conveyance. We asked driver that how would we reach there if you leave us midway, he said that I do not know you may take another bus. We contacted bus owner CITY LAND TRAVELS but our call was put on hold and we did not get any help. After waiting for hours we got another bus and spent extra money to reach Manali. In this situation of flooding and slide we including 50 other travellers were left stranded on on road near Mandi Himachal Pradesh. When we tried to lodge complaint on MakeMyTrip then our complaint was marked as resolved by giving us the reason that Travel agency has said that bus was not cancelled. In this situation, when no one is helping us we are left with only option to get help from consumer complaints portal as we have trust that we will definitely get help. I have attached photo of bus. Please look into this matter and help us getting our refund of Rs. 1370 and Rs. 3500 which we paid to taxi to reach Manali from Mandi district.

    There is no response from customer care. They have denied to resolve the issue. They have said that refund will not be provided. We will not leave these fraudsters without giving them a lesson that consumers can not be left unhelped when there are stringent laws in India to protect consumers
    Please help us so that we can save our time from reaching higher authorities.

        This is to bring to your kind notice that we had booked a hotel room on 4th July 2023 in the name of Mr.Amit Lamba for the period 4.7.2023 to 7.7.2023 through our account on MakeMyTrip vide Booking ID: NH[protected] (PNR No.[protected]).

        Regrettably when Mr.Amit Lamba approached the above Hotel, he was told that the hotel has cancelled their account with MakeMyTrip since long and despite the Hotel cancelling their account with you, MakeMyTrip continues to take bookings and nor have they received the payment. Presuming the money would be returned to our account as Mr.Amit Lamba had not resided in the said Hotel against the aforesaid Booking ID dt.4th July, we did not immediately bring it to your notice.

        We request you to kindly look into the matter and arrange to refund the amount of Rs.10, 085/- at the earliest and oblige.

          "Bucket Sale" Coupon Codes not working for ICICI MMT Card

          I tried to book an international flight worth 59310 yesterday using MMTICICIFESTINT coupon, but got an error that "MMTICICIFESTINT wont work for selected payment option".I tried again yesterday for a domestic flight with MMTICICIFEST, and got the same error.

              I am forwarding the below complaints submitted by email to Make My Trip officer who booked my trip package but there is no action yet.
              To,

              Make My Trip
              Reference: Private Package for family taken from 21st June to 28th June, 2023 from Delhi airport to Uttarakhand Places and drop to Jaipur.

              As old and regular customer of Make My Trip, I genuinely and sincerely lodge serious complaints towards very substandard services of transport mainly and substandard hotel at Guptkashi, Uttarakhand. Reference to above package, I purchased a private tour package with 4star Luxury Hotel and Good and safe condition Car. I had informed and expressed all the serious problems of very poor and unsafe condition of cars and substandards hotel stay ( 3 Nights in Guptkashi) continuously by phone, whats app to you and vendors, sub-vendors and card drivers again and again.

              Though you attended my calls and whatsapp messages, accepted the problems and tried but the issues/problems could not be corrected/resolved, so Make My Trip failed to provide the assured services as per the amount paid for the Luxury package for the trip.

              Needless to say, that due to involvement of multiple vendors/sub vendors like Trihari Travels, Chawla Travels (sub-vendor of Trihari Travels), 3 different cars and their drivers, not only I paid huge money for the services but never received the promised services. First, there was a very unsafe and shabby condition car was used from Delhi airport to Rishikesh, but changed after a lot of follow up from Rishikesh. Again, another very dirty, shabby and unsafe car was provided from Delhi to Jaipur with no place in back luggage box ( no space due to CNG cylinder) and I was forced to travel with my some of my luggage wet on the top of the car and also luggage kept on the rear seat at the discomfort of my family, as there was very less place to sit on the rear seat. My valuable luggage on the top of car was spoiled due to heavy rains ( as there was no space in back box of car)

              Also, my family was forced to live 3 Nights in a very substandard lodge ( Zero Star) in Guptkashi, though I was charged for a 4 Star Luxury Hotels. Except Badrinath and Haridwar, other hotels were also not luxury hotels.

              Summary is that my holiday tour with family was spoiled by Make My Trip due to continuous tension by calling multiple agencies and still not resolved. I had to run with high risks of accident due to very poor condition of cars on hills, highway and extremely high inconveniences faced throughout the tour.

              I therefore, raise this very serious complaints formally and request Make My Trip to compensate the spoiling of my tour, high discomforts, inconveniences and safety threats on during the travel due to unsafe and very poor condition cars by REFUNDING THE FULL AMOUNT PAID TO MAKE MY TRIP ( Rs 156600) AS COMPENSATION TO KEEP THE REPUTATION OF MAKE MY TRIP AND TO RETAIN THE FAITH OF MINE AS VERY OLD AND REGULAR CUSTOMER). PLEASE BE INFORMED THAT SINCE LAST SO MANY YEARS, I AM USER OF MAKE MY TRIP FOR BOOKING MY TICKETS, PACKAGES ETC.

              Please acknowledge this email and do the needful in refunding the charged money.

              Anticipating a quick refund of tour package charges, I am sure that Make My Trip being a professional company will take the cognizance of this matter and will not only satisfy me by refunding the tour amount but also will take the Quality Control of the vendor services to restore the reputation of the company and satisfaction of its valuable customers. I believe that I will get my refund of tour within a week's time and I will not be forced to escalate the matter to Make My Trip Top Management, social media etc.

              Above is also a sincere feedback on the experience of my family for this tour and services received.

                Delayed response, discrepancy in bill

                I had made a booking of Lemon Tree Hyderabad Hitech city .. the price shown to me by make my trip was way different from the price that i got in my final bill from lemon tree . I was forcefully make to pay service charge 12% which according to bill was optional and because it was a prepaid booking the money was already taken my MMT . Also there was a discrepancy in the base price per room and final bill provide by MMT and lemon tree .. when...

                Today 02/07/2023 at 20:59 amount rupees 8851 was deducted from my account but booking details or any confirmation that makemytrip recieved money is not shown. called customer care but ivr menu doesnt help anything . kindly look into this matter as soon as possible as the amount is big. sharing bank statement below

                  Address: MakeMyTrip India Pvt. Ltd., DLF Building No. 5 Tower B, DLF Cyber City, DLF Phase 2, Sector 25, Gurugram, Haryana 122002, India

                  Makemytrip India Pvt Ltd (“MMT”) booking ID - NN[protected] for flight booking from Mumbai to Denver, USA, by British Airways (“BA”) on 20-Jan-2020 for two passengers.

                  1. The first booking was done on 20-Jan-2020 under PNR 'SD93YK' departing on 3-May-2020 and returning on 30-Jun-2020. The total fare for two passengers was Rs 1, 92, 902.
                  2. On 11-Feb-2020, I changed my return date from 30-Jun-2020 to 25-Jul-2020 and paid the difference of Rs 34, 158 and my total payment became Rs 2, 27, 060/-.
                  3. However, due to COVID restrictions, my flights were cancelled and on 2-May-2020, I received an email from MMT providing me with two credit vouchers. On 10-Sep-2020, I requested a refund of my tickets through MMT’s website. However, it was refused.
                  4. On 30-Oct-2020, I received another email from MMT confirming the credit vouchers and travel validity up to 30-Apr-2022.
                  5. On 25-Sep-2021, I contacted MMT to book the flights against the credit voucher. On 27-Sep-2021, I received an email from MMT confirming the validity of my credit voucher and using the same on the British Airways portal (copy attached). Apparently, the credit vouchers issued by the Travel Agent do not work on Airline’s portal. They were just fooling around with me.
                  6. On 14-Oct-2021, I requested to book the tickets for departure on 24-Nov-2021 and return on 24-Jan-2022. On 15-Oct-2021, I requested MMT to upgrade my tickets from 'Economy' to 'Premium Economy'. On 17-Oct-2021, I paid Rs 79, 776/- which included Rs 27, 135/- as Base fare difference per passenger and Rs 12, 753/- Tax difference per passenger. Total payment paid to MMT was Rs. 3, 06, 836/-. A new PNR 'KOHW3Y' was booked and the tickets were sent to me on 18-Oct-2021.
                  7. On 18-Nov-2021, I called the British Airways to book my meal preferences and I was told that I cannot fly on 24-Nov-2021 due to Covid pandemic and as per the Bubble Air agreement between British Airways and Civil Aviation. of India, without the valid UK visas. Though I was just transiting through Heathrow London Airport. I immediately wrote an email to MMT on 19-Nov-2021 regarding the position of British Airways.
                  8. On 20-Nov-2021, I received an email from MMT keeping my tickets in 'Open' status till 30-Sep-2023.
                  9. On 11-Mar-2023, I called MMT to book my tickets against the Open status for travel in Sep-23. MMT was interacting with BA and was not able to book my flights. So, on 16-Mar-23, I asked for refund from the airline and to my surprise, MMT informed me that as per the BA, it was ‘No Show’ and no refund or change of date is possible.
                  10. On 21-Mar-23, I wrote to MMT that this was not my fault that the Airline did not allow me to board the flight due to Air Bubble Agreement between BA and Govt of India. Also, reminded them that they had given me an email confirmation of ‘Open Status’ of my ticket.
                  11. MMT was literally harassing me by delaying this process for almost two months with the change of three staff (Priya Chattergee, Romi Sahana & Nilanjana Dey) during this period. They kept on stating that they are still waiting for response from the Airline. During this period the fare went up.
                  12. On 11-May-12, Nilanjana Dey from MMT sent an email stating that they are still not getting details about the amount I paid to them. So on 14-May-23, I send them an email with the details of all events and the fare details with the relevant attachments. This new SAGA went on for another few weeks between MMT and BA. Meantime, I wrote to BA requesting to look into this matter and they simply refused to help stating that only MMT can handle this case. What a conspiracy!
                  13.On 23-May-30, MMT booked the tickets and issued me a temporary PNR, and asked me to pay Rs 13, 276 which I paid through Icici debit card. Now the total payment made to MMT was Rs 3, 20, 112/-.
                  14. I waited to receive my e-tickets after making the above payment. Again, no ticket was issued. I got a call from MMT demanding additional payment of Rs 14, 000 per passenger due to some special code they used in the past for my booking. How could I trust this people. This is clearly a cheating, harassment. I refused to make this additional payment and asked MMT to refund the last payment made. Till date, this refund has not come to me in-spite of their email confirmation.
                  15. This is a fraud company and I request strict action against company for harassing and cheating customers without any shame. Also, I request full refund of my money from MMT.

                  I am a 56-year-old and retired person. I cannot afford to lose 3, 20, 000 Rs.

                        I yesterday booked a flight ticket from Raipur to Kochi, Kerala, India using Make my trip site . In the site they had not displayed a direct flight available from Raipur to Kochi and so I booked another convenient flight but later in Indigo site I saw a direct flight. This is cheating by them and harassment to a senior citizen.
                        I need this to be changed without charges to be changed to direct flight.

                          Ridiculous service by make my trip.. Traveling from bangalore to mumbai and mumbai to bangalore for very important work and i had to lock the price for me and my toddler.. I was given 24 hours to book the tickets for the same price.. At first i was added more amount thant what i was asked to pay atleast 1200 more then later asked me to wait for 30 minutes until i try to book again like this they made me wait till 7 pm which was my lock inn period.. I was constantly on a call with mmt customer care they said wait till 7 keep trying or we will refund u the amount, wat are u serious? Y on earth would i want to lock the price and waste a day and pay extra for the flights?? They made me wait until my lock inn periods was expired.. Now all they said is will refund the amount and compensate for the extra amount i paid for fresh booking.. I need compensation for this!!! Solve this issue my day was wasted and been ridiculous.. I just hate how they fake promise passengers for better service! I hope other customers are not falling for this trap …

                            I booked a hotel on 23rd February for 4 nights stay from 24th January 2024 to 28th January 2024. I made my booking through Make My Trip and paid the full amount. I got a confirmation voucher with Booking Id: NH[protected] / PNR: [protected]. I called the hotel same night who confirmed my booking after verifying my booking ID.

                              Hi MMT Team,

                              I have booked a NeuGo Bus from your website on date[protected] for Delhi Kashmiri Gate to Haridwar for two persons
                              I have reached to the pick up point before departure time 9:00PM but bus was not reached there on the departure time. I was waiting and continuesly called for half hour to the contact person number provided by bus operator, who already called me to confirm my booking before 1 hour of my bus timing. I have complained on the make my trip app but not resolved. My departure time was 9:00 PM then I have received the call from NeuGo around midnight 12:00 AM that I am still waiting or gone from the departure point. I asked them why the contact person didn't received my call I was continuously called him for half hour during departure time, he told something went wrong with the person and cut the call. On the complaint raised by me to make my trip customer service they updated the issue has been resolved since no body called me from make my trip and not received any mail from them. I have not received the details how they updated the issue has been resolved.
                              The Worst company I have ever seen make my trip, nothing on name of customer support.

                                I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the experience I had during my recent stay at the RedFox Hotel. I would like to bring to your attention the numerous issues I encountered and request a refund for the inconvenience caused.

                                Booking Details: I had made a reservation for a RedFox Executive Suite for two women from June 21st to June 24th, 2023, for a total of three nights.

                                Unbearable Smell: Upon arrival at the hotel around 1:40 PM on June 21st, we were assigned a room that emitted a strong, unpleasant odor. The smell was so overpowering that it was impossible to tolerate.

                                Complaint Made: We immediately notified the hotel staff about the unbearable smell in the room. They informed us that the floor we were assigned to was designated as a smoking zone. We clearly expressed our dissatisfaction with staying on that floor or in that particular room.

                                Room Change Promise: The hotel staff acknowledged the issue and promised to change our room. We left the hotel and returned around 10-11 PM, expecting a different room. However, to our dismay, we were informed that no other rooms were available and that the smell on the smoking floor could not be resolved.

                                Unsuitable for Guests: Considering the fact that both guests were non-smokers and preferred a non-smoking room, we reiterated our inability to stay in the assigned room. We immediately notified both the hotel and MakeMyTrip, the booking platform we used.

                                Alternative Accommodation: As we had no other option and were unable to tolerate the conditions, we were forced to book another hotel at the last minute, incurring additional costs amounting to INR 53, 000. I have enclosed a copy of the invoice for your reference.

                                Hotel's Responsibility: It is evident that the hotel is at fault for allocating a smoking room, which was not our preference. Furthermore, despite our willingness to change rooms, the hotel was unable to provide a suitable alternative.

                                Past Experience: I would like to emphasize that over the past five years, I have booked numerous accommodations through MakeMyTrip without any complaints or issues. This incident clearly indicates that the fault lies with the hotel and not the booking platform.

                                Refund Request: Given the circumstances, it is unreasonable to expect us to bear the financial burden of a room that was unsuitable and not of our choosing. We kindly request a refund for the entire booking amount, as this inconvenience was entirely caused by the hotel's negligence.

                                Supporting Evidence: To further substantiate my claims, I suggest that you send a representative from MakeMyTrip, who is a non-smoker, to inspect the room for themselves and experience the offensive odor. Additionally, I have taken photographs of the room's condition to provide visual evidence.

                                Considering the lack of alternative options available at the time, we did not opt for a cancellation and instead proceeded to book another hotel. Therefore, the "no refund" policy should not apply in this situation. I trust that you will thoroughly investigate this matter and provide a fair and just resolution.

                                I look forward to your prompt response and a satisfactory resolution to this matter. Please treat this issue with the seriousness it deserves, as it significantly impacted the quality of our stay.

                                  Our trip was confirmed on 6th june to goa where the flight takes off on 9th
                                  On 6th we had a word with mr aakash kashyap regarding the itinerary of the trip and he made a package of 49, 900 including round trip flights, transfers to and from the hotel, a 4 star hotel (hotel reemz beach heaven anjuna) and a sunset cruise on 11th.
                                  Despite of asking him again and again for the hotel he told us that this is the best hotel he is offering us, it has a swimming pool, and the category of the room provided is delux room (4000₹ per day as per the website)
                                  Even after asking him for the other options he said this is the best hotel in the town we can count on him and it is a new property alliance with make my trip recently.
                                  We considered his suggestion and booked this trip.
                                  Just one day before the trip which is 8th june we received a message from the hotel that the swimming pool is under maintenance, for which we mailed aakash kashyap as he committed to be the saviour if there comes any issue in the trip. But the guy didnt even bother to reply the mail, after which we raised a query through mmt app, and received a call back late at night when we were in a meeting and asked the executive to call us back after half an hour. She didnt call us back that day, waiting for her call the next day which is the day when the trip starts, we tried to connect with MMT customer care. After almost 20-30 tries we could connect with one of the executive named gaurav, after discussing the whole issue and requesting him to change the hotel he denied that it is not in his hands and he can only refund us an amount of 7000₹ and we can do another booking by our own or we can accept a compensation of one time meal at the hotel. Which we denied as the hotel charges should be 16, 000₹ as per the room rates. But i guess make my trip doesnt want to give us its side of commission and stay in the win win situation no matter how its consumers’ money is going in the trash. His voice wasnt clear so we asked him to call us back and we never received the call back. Waiting for another hour we again tried to connect and there was another executive who offered us a compensation for 1500₹ first and when we weren’t satisfied she offered us 2000₹ compensation for which she said she would send a mail for the confirmation which we never received, then we again tried to contact the help centre, had a word with riya at 5 o clock just 40 mins before our flight and requested to take an immediate action on which she replied that she would definitely call us back and update
                                  Again another executive lied. We didn’t receive the call.
                                  We reached the hotel at night and saw our so called delux room, which has twin beds for a couple, after the request they joined the beds and there comes a gap in the centre. Which is not at all comfortable to sleep.
                                  We thought we were coming for a vacation keeping all out stress aside, but make my trip gave us the biggest stress with this hotel, which had such small rooms, a broken kettle, and huge spider webs in the bathroom.
                                  Starting our first day in goa on 10th of june, we asked the hotel to get our room cleaned and the spider webs removed, they didnt send any of the worker and after waiting for an hour or so we had to give them the keys and leave for the day, but before that we went for the breakfast when the rain started and the hotel’s management is so sick that they have got slippery floors, where my wife fell and got her ankle injured, after the incident they put the carpet in the slippery area to prevent any other accident, again called make my trip. Had a word with ravi, and asked him to increase the compensation and to do the process speedily, again a fake promise of resolving the issue, and when we cross questioned him and asked him whose fault is this, he hung up the call in between and didnt call back. Never imagined that make my trip hires such liars, and dishonest persons. Or may be the policies if MMT is all against the consumer and just in the favour of itself in terms of snatching the money from the consumer.
                                  Till date we havent received even a single call back and its only us taking the follow ups every day and night on our trip. This is the last time we are asking you to help us and get us a good compensation, as for this pathetic hotel and your fake promises the compensation of ₹4700 seems less.
                                  They guys have ruined our trip and hampered our mental peace which shouldnt be done by a big brand like MMT
                                  MMT doesnt have any accountability towards to consumers and their employees are just ghosting us after every call.
                                  Even after asking for a better compensation, they called me back today saying thats the best of what we can provide.
