    I booked ticket on makemytrip just few minutes before, however I selected wrong date, I want to change the dates instead of cancellation because make my trip is charging more amount then IRCTC in cancellation. If date change is not available then they should refund full amount. Please help

      I had cancelled two booking from make my trip ( booking ID: NH[protected] & NH[protected]) Both refunds are not yet received in my account . Every time i am calling them they are asking me to contact my bank for the refund details . my bank has clearly mentioned no money is stuck on their end . the refund amount is rs19405 and rs 11545. i had opted for a full refund which i am eligible with the booking .

        Flight booking not updated on the app

        I have recently booked a round trip flight from new delhi to leh. Despite having the payment deducted from my account and booking acceptance, it has not been updated on the MMT APP!
        there is no history or proof of this booking.
        what is the problem with mmt app and why doesnt my booking show on "my trips" column...

        I have made a round trip flight booking from New Delhi to Leh, the booking was made on 29th of august. however i DID NOT RECEIVE my E- ticket. Neither is the flight booking updated in "the trips" column on the app.
        Please do the needful as i have spent money on the flight and payment has already been passed.

          MMT Case Reference no:[protected]

          1.) On 12th July 2023 our Flights were cancelled from milan to new delhi due to strike in Italy on 15th July 2023 by Turkish Airlines
          2.) Based on conversation with Adarsh Roy ( mmt executive) all necessary actions for cancellation of the ticket were initiated after initial ruckus on July 12th 2023
          3.) On July 29th 2023, it was confirmed by mmt executive that Turkish airline didn't respond asking for a feedback form number which was not available with the customer executive, who asked me to get in touch with Turkish airline directly
          4.) On July 30th 2023, I reached out to Turkish airline to find out that tickets were not cancelled and rather the system stated that we had missed the flight, Turkish airline asked me to raise a feedback form to resolve the issue
          5.) I raised a feedback form with Turkish airline and called mmt customer helpline to ask them to get a confirmation on the cancellation which was actioned by Sophia (MMT Executive).
          6.) Sophia(MMT Executive) responded back on Aug 4th confirming that turkish airline has responded with a. Confirmation that the ticket has been cancelled and the amount should be refunded within Aug 11th
          7.) On aug 10th I have received a mail from Turkish airline to connect with service provider (MMT) for the refund
          8.) I had immediately forwarded the mail to MMT and reached out on Aug 11th 2023 for the status
          9.) Shalini(MMT Executive) confirmed that the ticket refund has been initiated by Turkish airline and is pending with mmt accounts team to verify and update the system, the refund amount confirmed is 31369/- and will be refunded within 48hrs in my account from the date of confirmation by Turkish airline i.e. 10th aug 2023
          10.) Since aug 12th 2023, I have been reaching out to get a date of confirmation for the refund however mmt support executive has been averting all queries and asking me continuously to wait another 24-48 hrs as they have been checking with accounts team for confirmation.
          11.) I have been requesting an audience with senior member to get clarity on what's been happening including a dedicated relationship manager and a mail to mmt account head to get confirmation on the refund but to no avail.
          12.) I have spent almost a month chasing after different mmt executives to get a clarity of the situation but to no avail showcasing sheer incompetence of the customer care framework
          13.) Due to customer service failure at mmt end we have failed to initiate our insurance claim for the flight cancellation which would cover the payout of extended day stay due to the flight cancellation on July 15th 2023, the amount of which has been 20857/- + 1% dynamic currency charges
          14.) Insurance team has responded stating that the will not process the refund due to a delay of 1 month in provisioning required documents
          15.) on 17th Aug a senior executive responded stating that a 48 hr updates will be provided, it has been a week since I have received any updates from MMT even after continuous follow up.

              I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and disappointment regarding a recent experience with my flight booking made through your platform. My name is kshitij rana, and I had made a round trip flight reservation from London to Delhi using the Makemytrip website on 23rd August.The original booking had my departure scheduled for 4th September 2023 and the return date was confirmed for 16th September 2023.

              To substantiate my complaint, I have attached a screenshot of my original booking details, clearly indicating the return date as 16th September 2023.

              However, I was shocked to discover that my return flight date had been altered without my consent or prior notification. The revised return date was automatically changed to 16th October 2023. This change greatly inconvenienced my travel plans and caused significant disruption to my schedule and commitments.

              Immediately upon noticing this discrepancy, I contacted Makemytrip's customer care for a resolution. I explained the situation and voiced my concern over the abrupt change in my flight itinerary. The customer care representative informed me that my entire flight booking had been voided, and I was charged an approximate cancellation fee of 2000. I was further informed that the refund process would take an additional 7 days to complete, subject to airline confirmation. This has put me in an extremely inconvenient and frustrating situation, as I am now left without a confirmed return flight and facing uncertainty about my travel plans.

              I am deeply dissatisfied with this outcome, as it was Makemytrip's error that led to this situation in the first place. Not only have I been unfairly charged a cancellation fee, but I am also required to now book a new flight at potentially higher prices due to the increased demand closer to my travel dates. This not only causes me financial strain but also significant stress and inconvenience.

              I kindly request an immediate and comprehensive resolution to this matter. I expect Makemytrip to take full responsibility for the error in my booking, including the date change and the unjustified cancellation fee. I request a complete refund of the cancellation fee, as well as assistance in securing a new round trip flight booking for the original dates, 4th September to 16th September 2023, at the exact same price as my original booking.

              I understand that errors can occur, but it is the responsibility of the service provider to rectify such errors in a manner that ensures customer satisfaction. I trust that Makemytrip values its customers and their travel experiences, and I look forward to a swift and positive resolution to this issue.

                  I had booked a flight (Srinagar to Delhi for 11 May 2023) on Air Asia through MMT, PNR No. Y5W95T. I cancelled the flight and Air Asia refunded the amount to MMT on 05 May 2023.

                  Despite dozens of phone calls and emails, and assurances, the amount has not been refunded yet.

                    Description of incident:
                    Was travelling between Kochin and Bangalore on July 1st week. Made all my bookings through MakeMyTrip. I had cancelled my ticket from Bangalore to Kochi. And booked a ticket for next day with family.

                    2 days before my travel got a misleading email from MakeMyTrip. MMT send me an email mentioning "Airline has cancelled my flight" which is not true. I was travelling, and this heading and content of email led to the misunderstanding that my travel with family from Bangalore to Kochi has been cancelled by airline. THIS FACTUALLY INCORRECT MESSAGE THAT AIRLINE CANCELLED MY FLIGHT resulted in our family booking another ticket for later date, and not travelling in correct date. A loss of 8000/- and airline marked us as no-show.

                    Worst experience with Make My Trip. Will use alternative flight booking options going forward.

                          Hi, This is to bring to your notice that I have booked my international ticket via make my trip application from lagos to mumbai and paid INR 39, 644. After some days i cancelled the ticket via make my trip mobile app and
                          I received the email that my ticket is cancelled successfully which was well within the time frame, only if cancellation done within 24hrs before departure it is non refundable as per Airpeace policy but I cancelled the ticket before 20 days and since then I have been waiting for refund of INR 35, 106. I have been following up with customer care of MMT since a long time but they are saying that airlines is yet to confirm refund,
                          Now without any notification MMT is saying that the ticket non refundable and closed my request.
                          I need my hard earned money back. So I came in this forum. Such fraudulent travel agent companies should get banned from india who are looting consumer money

                            This is in reference to my ticket cancellation of Booking ID NN2KUFQR6LAVJCA31015 from Make my trip for Airpeace from Lagos to Mumbai flight as on 07th July 2023.

                            As per airline's policy says that if I cancel before 6th July 2023, I will get the refund after a deduction of INR 3353 after that it is "completely refundable". I cancelled my ticket on 18th June which is well within the time frame.

                            I paid total INR 39, 644 and after cancellation charges of INR 4538 as you mentioned in attached screenshot, I am yet to receive the refund of INR 35, 106.

                            It has been a quite long since the date I requested for refund but not yet received.

                            I have been following up with them since a long time also wrote emails to them but didn't get a valid response. Now they are saying that the ticket is non refundable. While cancellation of Economy flexi class is completely refundable as per the ticket terms and conditions

                            Kindly help me out to get the refund of my hard earned money.

                              I paid for a ticket from hsbc upi and the payment was deducted, however the payment page did not refresh. After that I paid again from gpay and it was accepted. So deducted twice. Upon raising a complain mmt said that goods and service provided. Absolute fraud.

                                The issue - we booked a to and fro ticket from Abudhabi to Ahmedabad via MMT on Etihad Airlines. At the time of booking, the check-in baggage details were not available/mentioned hence the assumption being a default of 30 kg check-in allowance is provided. However, I was in for a very rude shock at the airport check-in, when the airline person said it was a no-baggage ticket! The options presented by the desk clerk were to either pay for my 30kg luggage or to upgrade the ticket. I had to pay 31, 000 INR for baggage and the upgradation of my ticket. I was able to afford it but what about people who work on minimal fixed monthly budgets?
                                This is a clear violation of customer communication where such important information is hidden at the time of booking thereby thoroughly misleading the individual and having them face unexpected financial and mental agony. Had MMT been transparent as expected in their information, I would have taken a very well-informed decision instead of being thrown under the bus or the plane in this case!
                                Being such a well-established travel operator, you resort to these low-sided tactics in fleecing your customers. Let me also mention that my return ticket also has no baggage. Do I again pay 30k for upgradation?
                                I expect MMT to be transparent while making bookings rather than leaving the customer in limbo.
