We had taken an international trip and MMTBlack says that in which case we are entitled for Rs 20, 000 discount on the next trip. We have been following up but with no success

    We are not happy with the customer service.
    We logged many queries with Make my Trip and also asked someone to call from complaints handling team, no one called so far.

    Go First cancelled their flights so we are unable to fly. We were told to book our alternative flights and they will refund when/if Go First refunds. If we don't go we will loose all hotel and other activities money.

    We wanted to know how much were flights tickets cost from the package..still no answer.

    Also wanted Go First booking Id... still no answer.

    We were told we must understand the situation as hotel will not refund if we don't go... why they can't explain the situation to the hotel? They should also understand the situation.

    We can't book alternative flights as alternative flights seems to expensive.

    Would you be able help?

      This is in regards of our booking id NL[protected] booked on 1st April 2023 Kashmir package worth Rs 2.28lac for 3 people from Mumbai. Which was a 6N/7D trip. We were very happy to book our 1st package trip on Makemytrip (MMT). Little did we know this was the start of a tornado in our lives.

      On 2nd may we got a call from MMT relationship manager informing us that Go first airline has gone bankrupt and now they won't be flying. We were completely shattered as to what will happen to our trip now ?? However since we had booked from MMT we were relaxed and at ease that our trip is in safe hands.

      Next on 3rd may we get a call from our relationship manager informing us that since our flight won't fly we will have to rebook ourself on a different airline by paying another 75k for flight. Which was a shocker as we had already paid our 1st installment of RS 23000 and now they are demanding extra 75000 over and above our package of 2.28lac.

      However we tried and convince our mmt relationship manager that since this was not our fault and it's beyond anyone's control can mmt book us on another flight within our promised package ?? To which she replied mmt will not take any responsibility and the only option is to either pay the balance amount or cancel the trip by paying 15k as penalty. We asked them as to why the deduction of 15k as it's not our fault and it's the airline which has got bankrupt so why penalise the passenger ??

      To this our relationship manager replied that MMT has paid the various vendors Rs.1000 amount as booking token in order to confirm our package. In reply to this we asked her to provide us the bifurcation of all the vendors they have paid. We also asked her for PNR no of the flight which they said they have booked for us. She replied in negative and told us blank NO she cannot share the details. When we told her to book us on an alternative flight within our cost for that too she said NO. When we resonated with her that since we are cancelling our trip due to flight error so kindly hold back the token paid to the airlines and refund the rest of the amount atleast and provide us the flight charges once they get the refund from the airline that too she did not agree.

      Now we could not cancel the trip as we will lose the entire money of 23k and if we take the trip we pay extra 75 to 80k over and above 2.28lac and even after that there was no confirmation for our trip whether there will be any more problem or not ??

      As days kept passing we kept requesting MMT for cancellation and initiating our refund. However all our requests fell on deaf ears. Our relationship manager did not even sympathise with us and all the time kept asking for balance payment. As she wanted us to pay the money come what may. All this while the MMT manager and her team mates kept pressuring us to release the next payment without giving us any confirmation for our trip.

      Our package had a date of 10th may 2023 that if we cancel on or before 10th may 2023 we will get 8k as refund after deducting 15k as penalty from the Rs23000 which we paid as 1st installment. We kept sending them mails from 9th may 2023 left right and centre to cancel our package and MMT relationship manager and her senior sonali only kept mailing us to write 'We want to cancel our trip' and do not write any of your problems or request for refund, only then we will accept your cancellation otherwise the entire money paid by you will be forfeited.

      We declined to write what they wanted us to write and told them to accept our mail as an official request for cancellation of our package. We did not wanted to cancel our trip but MMT did not leave any stone unturned and made sure we either cancel or pay up the balance amount. They even confirmed us over the phone that they had just blocked our package by paying 1000 to each vendor and not actually paid them the entire amount. So it was not difficult for MMT to deduct just the airline cost of 3k and refund the remaining amount as they deal with their vendors on a daily basis.

      Our trip has been cancelled finally by MMT but they have not issued us a refund. We want to alert everyone booking their holiday packages from MMT by looking at Alia and Ranveer singh but the reality is MMT does not care about its customers and only cares about the money that the customer has to go pay to MMT. In all this fiasco none of the employees of MMT ever sympathise with our situation all they cared about was their balance payment to be paid at the earliest. Not a single apology from any of their employees even after explaining them our situation a million times over the call. Our next step will be to file for a consumer complaint against MMT in order to get our full refund and compensation for the mental harrasment that MMT gave us. Instead of enjoying our Kashmir trip we are now made to run from pillar to post to get our refund. Avoid MMT at all cost unless u belong to a bigger goon family then MMT...

        I have booked a tour package with Makemytrip for Srinagar from Mumbai. booking ID - NL[protected]. GoAir flights are cancelled. I have received
        email from makemytrip today that book flight yourself. How will I book. I checked the prices it is around 50k for one person and 90-95k for 2 persons. Either issue a complete refund to my bank or arrange alternate flights as i don't have more funds left with me. booking ID NL[protected] It is urgent as the package is on 21st May that is next week. Needs to be resolved by tomorrow.

        Please help urgently. We are booking packages 2 months in advance for save money and if we are getting surprises like this then what we need to do here. Makemytrip please understand I have not booked only flight on your portal, I have booked complete package. If you can't arrange the flight then please cancel the booking and refund as this cancellation is not from my end.

        I am trying to reach make my trip customer care from afternoon. Dropped multiple emails but I have not received any reply from them.

          I booked a bus journey from Sagar to Jabalpur on march 30, 11:12 p.m. The money - Rs. 613 was deducted but the booking failed. I haven't received a refund yet. This is so shameful for such a big company like Makemytrip. There is no option to talk to their helpline, no real person only automated messages. Please help me get my money back. I did not receive any booking id so cannot complain in their application either. I am adding the gpay payment screenshot as proof.

            I am reaching out to you as the MMT customer care is not helping me with my issue. I have booked my honeymoon package trip via MMT (Booking ID: NL[protected]. Due to the Go First issue my flight has been cancelled. Your team is asking me to book the tickets on my own. How come MMT being a travel company can't make alternate travel arrangements with other airline. I am looking at the flight ticket prices which is costing me approx. 1 lakh for 2 adults round trip. My overall package cost is 85K. It's not at all feasible for me to book the flight tickets on my own due to the rise in fare prices. Your team is not giving me any other option. Also, when I asked for alternatives, they have not provided me anything. When asked to refund the package amount, they are asking me it will be as per the cancellation policy which is current 0 as it's only 5 days remaining for my trip. I can't reschedule my trip as me and my wife are working professional and will not get leaves later.

            Please understand that this trip is special for me, it's my honeymoon trip which is very special. I have paid the entire amount. Now I can't pitch in 1 lakh just for flight tickets. This is ridiculous, your team is not even calling me back and when I call the customer care number it's not connecting. There is no contact person to whom I can reach out to.

              I had booked 2 rooms in Hotel Park, Phuentsholling, Bhutan, through make my trip (MMT) for 1 night of 11th April. I had submitted all details w.r.t. no. of people being 2 adults and 2 kids in each room with correct age of each child. I paid for the room charges as shown by MMT. While check-in I was asked to pay extra charges of Rs.750 per room i.e. total Rs.1500 for extra bed in each room. I was never informed about this earlier. I had done the booking one month in advance i.e. 12 March 2023. In-spite of giving all the details w.r.t. no. of children and filling in all details as required by MMT, I was unnecessarily and uninformed charged extra. When I complained to MMT customer care about this I was not given any response to my query for about 8-10 days stating that the hotel person is not reachable, and today i received a call from an arrogant MMT executive who I think had already prepared herself about denial of mistake from MMT side. After she argued with me that you have to pay for extra beds as per hotel policy while check-in, which is not the norm as per my knowledge, I asked her if the terms of MMT specify such thing. And she was caught. What she argued later was way beyond imagination. She said no such term is there but "there is neither a term that such extra charges won't be asked by the hotel". It is highly unexpected that such a big player like MMT puts such childish arguments through its representatives just to save itself from compensating for the unnecessary charges that its regular client had to pay. I am generally a calm person but she hit my nerves by saying such a useless argument. The representative was a so childish that when I told her I will have to take this to a consumer forum she replies - if you are taking this to a consumer forum I will also escalate this to my seniors. This was her language and tone. I was horrified with such responses from a consumer "CARE" representative. I request you to kindly help me get the refund of Rs.1500.

                I have cancelled my one trip on 28th april 2023 and i supposed to get Rs. 6162 for that cancelation. My Booking ID is NN7F7DDIZV5IIC4U9507. Its being 12 days and i have not received anything. I have also contacted many times for this and also provided all my details like bank statements but still not received anything yet.
                They also asked me to connect with bank with the RRN number provided by the MMT. I spoke to the bank and they told me to ask MMT to visit the any bank branch with the transection and UTR number. I informed the same on 3rd May 2023. but still my issue is not resolved.
                They are not listening anything now and one of their agent named sourav instead of resolviong my issue he is saying this is not an issue.
                Kindly help me to get my refund back.

                  In reference of my Booking ID - NL[protected], here I like to share with you very unsatisfactory attitude of make my trip team members
                  As already discussed with your team members that We have deposited the full amount in advance for our upcoming tour. As already discussed and clearly explained to you that we have booked tour package on MAKE MY TRIP online portal to get our tour convenient and comfortable. This is our first international tour and I am not much aware about booking of flights and international hotel that is why I have opted your services and paid the full amount against the flights and hotels etc as per your demand.
                  Now today your team member told me that I can not fly as my flight has been cancelled and I have to book flight on my own basis. This way of services and attitude are very pathetic. us. As I already explained your team member that I am not able to get flight and hotel in international tour so I taken your services and for which I have paid you in advance.
                  Now requesting you to please arrange me some other flights and arrange my tour. Please try to cooperate us and if flight is cancelled then this not my and your fault but as a tour service provider you must be responsible for arrange some other option to complete my tour and for which i have paid you full amount in advance.
                  Here we can bear with you with opting other date also if not possible to arrange now then you can give me other dates of the same tour in the any months of september 2023 to FEBRUARY 2024. But please remember we can not afford any extra charges for which you are demanding else you refund my all advances. So I have given you all possible options and you are responsible to solve the issue.
                  so please revert me back with any best option out of these three option.
                  If you can arrange my tour on same predecided date then please let me know urgently within 24 hour so I can have arrangement accordingly.

                  At last please bear with us while we are bearing with you. We are the customer of you and you are the service provider and with keeping this thought in mind only you can sustain your customer otherwise next option is only for legal procedure to get my either tour package or advance amount with penalties against my mental harrasment.

                    Good evening
                    I booked from salem to gudalur(ooty) but the bus operator says the bus is going to Gudalur in theni district but in MakeMyTrip it showed wrongly as Gudalur(ooty).Because of the mistake from MakeMyTrip website i booked this bus.I have booked it after cancelling it once( NU[protected]) which costed me cancellation fee of Rs.370. Then i booked a new ticket (NU[protected]) which costed Rs.1185.Now I couldn't able to board this bus because of the destination mentioned in the MMT app and website is not the same in the bus operating route.
                    The bus is not going to Gudalur(ooty) it is going to Gudalur(theni)
                    MMT should refund these amounts because of the mistake from their side i ended up booking a wrong bus.
                    Please dont forget to update the correct thing in your app and website so that it doesn't happens again.

                    But the bus is not operating through gudalur (Ooty).it's completely MakeMyTrip's fault and they should initiate full refund for this ticket since I haven't travelled

                        Dear Sir, I have booked north east trip through MMT for 7 night 8 days.
                        Booking id is NL[protected]. My three flight bookings are of date 22nd May 2023 from Delhi to Bagdogra through Go First.
                        And three ticket on 29th May 2023 from Bagdogra to Delhi through GoFirst.

                        As we all know, that Go first is cancelling their flights randomly. I don't know if on 22nd May 2023, Go First flights will be operational or not. I don't want any last minute hiccups.
                        MMT has planned my trip. Ideally its MMT's responsibility either to refund my money for whole trip or arrange some alternate flight.

                        MMT is irresponsibly asking me to book a extra flight tickets from my pocket for safer side.
                        That's very unethical and unprofessional behavior. If that was to be done, I would have planned everything myself. What was the need to contact MMT.
                        When I asked MMT to cancel my trip, They are not ready to refund my money. WHY MMT has booked through Go First. Its not my fault at all.

                        It is obvious that on last minute, flights are getting costlier. I choose MMT plan for economic budget. I am not in condition to book another 6 refundable ticket separately. Anyways, its my loss at the end.

                        I want my trip to cancel and want my hard earned money refunded to my bank account. I don't want any relationship with MMT now onwards.
                        Please help me in getting my money back.

                          Please do the needful asap i didn't get the refund amount of rs4713/- which is an unsuccessful transaction and your executive told i will get with 2 -3 days max but today is Monday already 3 days going to be over but no refund till now...ticket is also closed as resolved no it's not resolved till now.

                            Recent stay at Hotel Aira Xing @ Paharganj on 29 & 30 -Apr-2023

                            Booking through makemytrip is not ideal at all. They take money from small and low standard hotels and promote them to book, they even take advance payment. Regardless you dont like the hotel and there will not be an services provided, you cant find anything which were expecting, even you complain their customer service is disaster in handling the situation. Once mone paid never comes back, they just give false promise.

                            I had stayed in the Aira xing hotel for 2 nights, had to book b looking at some good pictures and reading many fake reviews, also some savers as promoted by makemytip. I was travelling to Australa with kids and family so i was with lots of luggage, once went inside, was really difficult for me to shift to other hotel. I had complained multiple times to hotel management and makemytrip customer service. They asked to send picture but did nothing. Had to call many times but no one bothered. Asked for an option to book other hotel or make the refund, nothing was done. I would never book with makemytrip and would never recommend anyone else to do so, Hotel doesnt have an outside and inside appearance, lift not working, no geyser, phone not working, tv not working initially, room dirty, bed sheet and mattress comfort was dirty, broken bed and bath doors, full of bad smell, tea order was taking more than an hour as they were getting from other hotel. OMG, how they decide to promote and sell this kind of cheap place.

                                Dear Sir,
                                I had booked my 6N/7D trip to Kerala via MMT. Booking ID NL[protected].
                                On Day 5 (07/04/2023), we were to stay at Super Deluxe Houseboat By EGH - Holidays Selections. The Houseboat was super poor quality. After complaint also, no alternate arrangements were done. I have the proof of complaint in soft form. These proofs are sent to MMT and many tickets logged but there is no resolution happening. All tickets are automatically closed in under 1-2 hours without any contact to customer. Hence i am forced to raise this complaint.

                                  I had taken a package to Thailand. The flight got cancelled two times. This time I got an email that the flight can't be rescheduled. Also I am not able to reach customer care. Very pathetic service. My plan is on 12th may 2023. I am wasting my money, my time and plan with make my trip portal. Really need some resolution asap.

                                    A flight ticket was booked for Sri Nagraj, GM of ITI Limited Palakkad from Thiruvananthapuram to Bangalore through MakeMyTrip (India) Private Limited through Google Pay from HDFC Bank Account. The Google pay receipt attached Rs 5582. Neither Ticket nor refund from MakeMyTrip not issued.

                                      On MMT, a round trip from Bangalore to Kolkata was booked. However, it was cancelled. The same booking was done again. On connecting with Airline, they refunded the full amount back to MMT due to booking the same flight within 1-2 hrs.
                                      MMT only partially refunded the amount ₹ 9, 576. Multiple calls were made to customer care no. All of the calls ended with the assurance that the full amount will be refunded back to me in the next 72 hours. This went on for the next 3 weeks.
                                      Now when we call customer care, they don't connect with the supervisor, they beat around the bush saying booking does not exist.

                                        I have booked a tour package with Makemytrip. GoAir flights are cancelled till 12th and I have a package with flights included for 10th. Either issue a complete refund to my bank or arrange alternate flights as i don't have more funds left with me. booking ID NL[protected] It is urgent as the package is on 10th May that is next week.
