My flight was cancelled due to corona virus outbreak on the 11th april. It is today almost a month that i didnt get my refund. I am able to make no contact with mmt custoner care neither with the airlines

    My name is siddika raj.
    I had booked my flight from banglore to rajasthan on 16th april, but couldn't travel because of lockdown.

    Later on 27th april i cancelled my flight (Pnr: ryjz9z) directly from vistara airlines, and they assured me my full refund (I have all the call recording as proof).

    They already made refund from their side, but i didn't got my money back till now, because make my trip didn't take any action.

    Kindly refund my money as soon as possible.

      I was due to fly on the 1st of may along with my wife from canada to mumbai but because of the lockdown, etihad cancelled the flight on 18/4 and mmt told they will be refunding the amount within 10 days but it's now more than 19 days there is no status update from them. I have to book repatriation flight and i have no money for the same. Worst service provider. The amount due from them is 1.24 lakhs. Without receiving the money i can't book another flight. My credit card is charged and have to make payment to them. Mmt isn't answering any call or not taking any complaints by mail. Their chatbot is as useless as them. Not helpful at all. The whole matter is stressful and irritating.

        Make my trip has not refund my amount that is Rs. 57, 000 after my tickets werer cancelled by the Airlines themselves. it been more than a year and there is no status update.

        This case is from April 2019 and its April 2020, more than a year i have not received any update from Makemytrip.

        I tried to follow up with them on twitter but it's in vain. I'm expecting a early resolution else i will take a legal way to have my refund back.

        Makemytrip is losing its credibility as they consistently delay the refund.

          When am trying to change travel date due to coronavirus one month before, make my trip is charging inr900/- even though no charges mentioned in travel date change policy. I am attaching both screen shot, one is policy, where it is clearly mentioned if i change travel date 3 days before. No charges at all by air lines and make my trip both. However when actually changing travel date, they are forcing to pay 900/- as make my trip charges. Need your help to resolve issue.

            My flight was supposed to be on 17th April, 2020. However, due to the ongoing condition I requested makemytrip to "keep my ticket open" on 10th April. I received a mail from them shortly after stating that they've placed a request for the same. However, the app now shows "trip completed". How is that possible?

              Hi,
              Myself naresh peddy. I have booked ethihad flight from brussels to hyderabad (11-apr-2020) and hyderabad to brussels (03- may-2020). Booking id: nn[protected].

              Due to covid 19, ethihad air lines cancelled the flight. I requested for the refund for the same. But till now i have not received the refund. I have done the transaction through my hdfc bank credit card. Amount is 70, 254 rs.

              I tried so many times calling customer care and i sent mail to "[protected]@makemytrip.com". But till now response or refund from make mytrip.

                Irctc pnr no: [protected]
                Railway booking from mumbai to darbhanga for 21apr2020 was made (Photo enclosed). I have been regularly following up for refund but to no avail. I was assured by the person on helpline number that amount would be refunded within 72 hours but still not received. On the app it shows as "completed trip" when this is not possible as on 21apr2020 entire india was under lockdown. It appears that there is no intention to refund the amount. Kindly initiate necessary action.

                    I had made a booking from mumbai to jammu and back for the 24 may 2020, however due to covid situation cant travel. when tried to cancel pnly partial booking of mumbai to jammu shows cancelled however the flight from jammu to mumbai for spicejet still shows active. the booking id is NF[protected]. neither the customer care is helping nor the chat bot.

                      Dear sir/madam,

                      My name is amit joshi. I made subjected booking with make my trip. But due to covid 19 holiday is cancelled. I have written multiple emails to executive assign to me but she is also non responsive. My flights had been cancelled by provider but and i can see my hotel bookings are also cancelled. But make my trip has not processed my refund so far. I can understand that we are working with 50% resource capacity but at least they should give me some date when they will be initiating the refund. Their non responsive behavior scaring me that i may lose my entire paid amount.

                        Hi

                        Regarding my booking ID (NF[protected]) and (NF[protected]). Both the mentioned booking is of 7th May 2020 from SPICEJET to travel from Patna to Delhi.

                        Since I donot have any plan to travel in near future, kindly refund all my money in my back account not as a voucher.

                          We have booked air asia air ticket to travel from cochin to vizag on 1st april. Due to covid, flight was cancelled and airlines refunded the amount on 13th april to makemytrip as we have booked the ticket from makemytrip. Now this agency is not crediting the amount to my account. They are not taking any calls and no response. When airlines has given the money back then what is the problem of makemytrip to credit the refund amount to my account.. At this point of time single penny is important and government is directing to initiate the refund, these third party agencies are cheating the customers... Kindly dgca or any other appropriate authority has to take strict against these agencies and see that refund amount is crediting back to customer accounts

                            My name is jaskaran singh. I booked my airline ticket from makemytrip in month of feburary for journey delhi to paris and paris to vancouver on 26 april. Due to outbreak of coronavirus my ticket got cancelled due to non opertional and received this email in the starting of month april. For refund of my ticket i talk to coustmer care about it. Thereafter, they answered me for refund of ticket i need to provide them remark from delta airline and then they provide me refund. Moreover, i also provide them proof of remark which was given by delta airline to me for refund. I sent this proof to makemytrip number times but they do not intiate any refund until to this date.

                              I got less amount of refund from make my trip for my journey planned for 04/04/2020 from mumbai to tirupati. I have tried to call them on their number which is now a day gives recorded answer with no solution. My mail is also answered via automatic mailer wherein they are advising me to seek online resolution via website. But i am not getting any resolution. Therefore, i am seeking your intervention. My all details are as under:
                              1. I have purchased mmt double black program in may 2019 with my spouse and daughter as co member. This program provides for full refund of flight tickets at 2 occasions without any cancellation charges and 2 hotel bookings
                              2. Accordingly i availed the 100% of flight fare refund for by cancelling my journey from jaipur to mumbai booked by flight vides id no: nf[protected]. This being the first occasion of the flight cancellation as per terms and conditions of the mmt policy the amount rs.4548 being the full value of ticket was credited to my wallet with life time validity (I. E. With no expiry)
                              3. In march 2020 i booked for another journey with my spouse and daughter (Total 3 tickets from mumbai to tirupati vide id no: nf [protected] by spicejet flight no sg 467 for which rs.11399 was charged to me. Accordingly rs. 6851 was paid by using credit card after deducting rs.4548 the wallet cash which was credited to my account as per details given in point no.2. Further rs.624 was refunded to me due to non acceptance of seat booking charges. Therefore the net charges were rs.10775 (Rs.11399-rs.624)
                              4. Return ticket i booked from chennai to mumbai on 06/04/2020 vide id no nf[protected] for all three travelers by go air flight no g8 304. For this i have incurred rs.5314 by my credit card.
                              5. In view of the spread of covid-19 and widespread cancellation of many flights i opted for cancellation of my journey tickets from mumbai to tirupati on 04/04/2020 as i was covered under mmt double black. I enquired at website and found that rs.7445 was refundable to me after deducting rs.3330 from rs. 10775 i. E. The net amount i have paid at the time of this booking. And accordingly did the cancellation. I did not receive the proceeds till the end of march. Hence i decided to interact with myra (Online support) and accordingly my issue has been resolved as per details on website by crediting rs.645 to my account. It means i have charged rs.10130 (Rs.[protected] and not rs.3330 as displayed on website while cancelling the tickets. Therefore i have been overcharged for rs. 6800.
                              6. Further, i also observed that on mmt website my journey dated 06/04/2020 from chennai to mumbai is displayed as completed. It’s a big surprise as all flights were cancelled due to covid-19 and nationwide lockdown. As per information displayed on your website that airlines are working on this and necessary credits will be restored to my account either on airlines website or on mmt website. But till date i am not able to find any credit note on any of the website for this journey. For this journey i have incurred rs. 5314.
                              7. In view of this i request you to please arrange to provide refund of rs.6800 for mumbai to tirupati flight and credit note from go air of rs.5314 for chennai to mumbai flight.

                                There was a scheduled travel against booking id # nf[protected] & nf[protected]...pnr # yee7gx, mg1jgb. But due to covid 19, no travel took place. I am still following up with Go air and MakemyTrip for refund or credit in my account.. But still no input from them. Need help to get return against this travel. Hope I am giving enough input now...

                                  For my booking in airasia, through makemytrip, due to the lockdown, flights were cancelled. Airasia confirmed refund of the amount to makemytrip, but makemytrip refuses to refund the amount to the source of the booking. Instead they hold the amount back in their wallet. When the airlines and consumer are both suffering, it isn\'t fair for agencies such as makemytrip to make profit out of it.

                                    I tried multiple times and he convinced me that no worry, we will refund you your money as hotel booking has been cancelled before 4 days of starting the trip.
                                    And i have some call record too and proper mail communications too.

                                      Pandemic situation: this is regarding the two international flight ticket done through mmt. Details below. After following up for a month and investing lot of time and effort with the mmt they agreed to cancel the ticket and initiated the refund.
                                      Although the fights were not operational, mmt was not processing the full refund whereas airlines were offering the full refund

                                      The second ticket refund in1b[protected] is not yet received in our bank but we can see the same amount is transferred to mmt wallet.

                                      However, the mmt login says that the amount is refunded to state bank account. I am also attaching the screenshots of the trip cancellation and mmt wallet.

                                      This is cheating from mmt that they have transferred the money in wallet rather then bank.
                                      This is fraud

                                      We are trying to contact them but no one is responding and actioning in this, the amount is more than 1 lakh.
