After following up for last 5 weeks. Make my trip has not refunded ₹8247 and stop answering calls, mails and messages. They are cheating and harassing customers. Airasia has given them the refund but they have not refunded me after receiving from the airline. Airasia gave them the refund on 5th april and i have email from the airline. Initially their agent “arpit sharma” had emailed me that refund as been processed and after 15 days i get call stating they haven’t received refund from airline. While airline already refunded make my trip on 5th april. They are cheating and not refunding my money.

Airline has already given the refund to make my trip. Make my trip has not yet processed refund. Their agent “Arpit Sharma” sent me email that refund has been processed and later on changed his words stating still under airline verification . Airline has already gave the refund. Refer screenshot.

    Respected sir
    I am subhashis tripathy from mumbai… i booked a travel trip from mumbai to kathamandu on 16th march 2020 and return on 19th on march 2020 by make my trip. Due to unavailability of direct flight i got tickets via delhi in both side of travel on indigo like,
    16th march (Departure)
    Mumbai to delhi – pnr no - sqem3r – 00:50 hr
    Delhi to kathmandu – pnr no - yd5yfb - 07:15 hr
    19th march (Arrival)
    Kathamandu to delhi – pnr no - bk68ug - 10:20 hr
    Delhi to mumbai – pnr no - bk68ug -16:00 hr
    But my problem is that due to corona i got massage on 12th march that my flights are canceled as per government advisory. I tried to contact to indigo customer care more than 80 times but no response because both numbers busy that day and tried make my trip customer care like more than 60 times… also i got no response.
    As per my massage link, i tried in indigo website which was very slow and i had two option like reschedule or cancel my delhi – kathmandu and return trip… i tried more than 6 times to cancel but it was very slow then i clicked reschedule the time on same date and i got reschedule time on same date for my trip. But i am surprised that no massage or link about my mumbai to delhi…
    On 13 th march i went to terminal 1 mumbai airport and tried to communicate but i got your those two customer care no and in one hour i got nothing else and no response from your customer care because one no was sounded congested and other was busy … that time i got one massage that my return flight once again canceled. Once again i tried both the indigo and mmt many times…
    At last i canceled my trip both side on same day at 16:15 hr but i surprised on my refund value. It was full amount of my return ticket rs. 8095/- (Kathamandu to mumbai – pnr no - bk68ug) and on departure travel i got amount respectively, mumbai to delhi refund amount is - rs 445/- and delhi to kathamandu – rs.1013/- only.
    Respected madam and sir my complain is that my problem to no connectivity with your customer care and not got proper feedback what to did. But you can think i got massage reschedule on my return ticket and half way (Delhi – kathamndu). I am traveled from mumbai to kathamndu. Not got massage to reschedule my mumbai to delhi if i didn’t go from mumbai to delhi how i travelled delhi to kathamndu. And forcefully i rescheduled my travel timing due to your site slow.
    As per govt. Advisory and i massaged or mailed to both indigo and make my trip but not getting any satisfied response from any of them. Now both are blaming to each other’s mistake.in which i have suffered a lot in this panic time with a handsome financial loss. So kindly accept my application and focus on my problem and help me from this unnecessary financial problem and help in refunding my deducted amount as per your declaration on emergency due to corona pandemic.

      I have booked a flight ticket from make my trip. From kolkata to delhi indigo airline pnr no. Mqi1te. But the ticket was cancelled by airlines and full refund was given by airlines on 22-march-2020 to make my trip. Where as make my trip didnot refunded the amount to me. After many complains they only suggest for their thier self chat option which is ineffiecient. Kindy refund the amount as soon as possible to original source mode.

          Dear sir, the cancellation money against my booking id in1b[protected] has been parked in makemytrip "my wallet". This money can only be used against travel, hotel booking etc.
          As i need money badly for my day to day expenditure, i am not able to use this money. I have chatted many times, but i am not getting any solution.

          I request to refund my money to my bank account (From where payment via net banking was done) rather than parking in my wallet account.

          Request to refund money as soon as possible.

              I booked round trip london-bangalore air ticket for my family. But this trip had to postpone due to covid pandemic. When we tried to change tiickets, makemytrip platform suggested to cancel the ticket with reason of movie and they reimburse money in line with airline guideline as travel voucher which should be used in an year. We checked with airlines and understood that our ticket eligible for full reimbursement because our travel dates. We then cancelled the ticket and indicated the reason as mentioned in makemytrip platform to get travel voucher. But makemytrip considered this as normal cancellation and applied their regular cancellation policy and returned some 20% of ticket cost. When we contacted airline, they comeback to us saying since the tickets booked through agent, they can't do anything much. We tried to. Contact make my trip by phone or email but no response received till. We feel like devastated during such a situation and cheated by make my trip. We are sure that airline might have issued the voucher and makemytrip using the difficult situation for their benefit.

                Booking id - nh[protected] i have a booking of hotel rooms for 26th april 2020. Due to lock down the booking got cancelled and as per the confirmation given by them, i should have received the amount back into my bank account by 19th april 2020. But after passing of this date when i escalated this issue then i came to know that there was no refund made. They are cheating on customers. Also, they are not sure by when this could be refunded.

                  I had done booking via MMT with booking reference number NF[protected].
                  I have emailed to them, about refund, but I am getting reply back to chat and get the issue resolved. At the chat window, No human is sitting. And I am getting recorded chat, no option left with me, so submitting my complaint here.

                    I had booked a ticket by makemytrip for a train journey on 6th of april 2020.. For the journey at 18th april 2020 but due to lockdown all the train has cancelled by ministry of rail.

                    Before journey date i got one notification that all the train has been cancelled amount would be refunded within 3-5 working days.

                    I tried manual cancellation but their server was down for a week. But according to irctc rule amount should refund because i got a message.

                    So kindly help me out otherwise i'm going to supreme court.

                      I had a flight on 24th april from mumbai to toronto but it was cancelled by the airlines due to the pandemic.
                      I tried to cancel my booking on the application but it always appeared 'something went wrong'.
                      I have been trying to contact makemytrip to cancel my booking since the lockdown started but not able to contact. Nobody answers calls
                      Have mailed them several times but no reply.
                      And now my flight shows status 'completed' on the application.
                      MakeMyTrip India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                      Make my trip officials are not responding to my complaint. As per them they have refunded money but put into My Wallet Account of Make my trip, which can only be used for travel and Hotel purpose only.

                      As such, money is with Makemy trip only and earning interest on my money...

                      Pl advise, how to get back money from Make my trip

                        I had booked a hotel through mmt. Booking id:nh[protected], pnr:[protected]
                        I had booked the hotel on 28th feb, 2020 for 2 nights (Check in: 23-may-2020, check out: 25-may-2020). I cancelled the booking on 23-apr-2020, much in advance to date of travel due to current covid-19 situation and risk associated with travel. As per the cancellation policy stated in the booking details, it states cancellation charges will apply if cancelled before 23-may-2020.in case of no show only, there shall be no refund.
                        However, now though cancelled much before it states no refund applicable as the booking was done at high discounted price.

                        Does this reason really justify for no refund when i am not even availing the services now? I have paid a hefty amount of 15760 rupees excluding the discount price of just 3210 offered by mmt for the booking. It's the hard earned money and mmt just can't do this to our money.

                        I would request mmt to refund the money as applicable.

                          This is regarding my itenary number# nh[protected] for hotel booking on makemytrip.

                          I had to cancel the hotel booking due to ongoing covid19 pandemic and contacted makemytrip customer support on myra chat (Mmt chat helpdesk) and got connected to an agent called yash on 19th april 2020. I told him that i wanted to cancel the booking however the mmt app was giving the only option to accept the refund amount in mmt my wallet, instead of refunding in the original mode of payment i. E. My hdfc credit card account. The associate informed me that it is temporary due to a technical glitch and i shall go ahead to cancell the booking and accept the refund in my wallet. After 48 hours, i would get n option for reversal of the credit from my wallet to my original mode of payment.

                          48 hours later, i contacted mmt again and they gave me all kind of excuses and later denied that my refund would not be procesaed back on my credit card and the amount would remain blockednin mmt wallet for future use.

                          I was given wrong information by an associate representing makemytrip and thus have fraudulently held my money in thier wallet without my intended consent and have refused to return back ever since in my follow ups with thier team during the ingoing pandemic covid19 crisis. Due to this, the billed amount of inr 37288/- is blocked on my credit card and i would be unable to pay the same to the bank which would cause me financial damages in the form of late fee and finance charges for being unable to pay the due bill just because that amount is blocked by makemytrip against my consent for a service not utilised.

                          I need assistance to sort this out immediately.

                          Please assist.

                          Refer below to the screenshot of the chat with other associate named Sandeep who refused to comply with what the first associate Yash commited me and admitted that first agent did not know the update or in other words gave me wrong information.
                          I am still suffering financial damages as my credit card limit is blocked and MMTs refusal to refund is going to make my credit card bills due.

                            My Cash Wallet was 15000 which was valid till 14April On 6th April i had redeemed Rs 3000 against few vouchers Then again i tried on 10th April to redeem balance against few more vouchers. I was surprised to see that MMT had stop accepting voucher redemption request. Since then i an trying to get in touch with MMT to clarify about extension of My Cash balance Expiry date but no one from MMT was able to attend my query (I understand due to ongoing pandemic) . I expect that MMT extends validity of My Cash balance by number of days country will be under lockdown.

                              I booked my flight from bangalore to toronto via london (Round trip) from makemytrip for march 18th-19th, 2020 for inr 85, 277

                              However, my flight from bangalore to london on march 18th, 2020 was cancelled by airlines british airways and rescheduled to march 19th, 2020 due to which i wouldn't have been able to catch the connecting flight from london to toronto on march 18th, 2020.

                              Also i wouldn't have been able to catch the return flight form toronto to bangalore via london scheduled on march 19th, 2020

                              Consequently i had to cancel the entire trip.

                              I therefore placed a cancellation request with makemytrip, clearly explaining my situation because of the flight cancelled by the airline.

                              Despite my request to cancel with full refund they deducted rs 17, 993 as cancellation charges against the airline policy of full refund in case of flight cancelled by airlines themselves.

                              I request you to help me get rs 17, 993 wrongly deducted as cancellation charges.

                                I had paid 13835/- for bus tickets booking but as per the govt. Advisory on coronavirus (Covid-19) to suspend interstate buses till 3rd may, for all bus operator cancellations, 100% refund will be automatically processed, but got only 11029/- remaining amount 2805/- not refunded. I'm humbly requesting to you, please take legal action for this concern.

                                  I had booked tickets to tokyo for 17 and 25 april with pnr/131-[protected] and 131-[protected]. The flight was cancelled by the airline and according to them i was eligible for full refund but on contacting mmt they were clueless and said they had no updated from the airline and airline said mmt has not contacted them.i am not able to reach mmt now and am struch in between. Even in their app there is no updated policy of japan airline and no option for refund available.kindly help

                                    Hotel is allowing to cancel the booking and giving refund but mmt wants to keep that amount in their wallet and forcing me to use their services again.
                                    If hotel is paying them back, why are they keeping my money in their wallet and not giving refund to my account?

                                    What if i don't have any plans to use mmt services again ever in future?

                                    How can they hold my money which is more than 10, 000?

                                      I have booked hotel at karbi with mmt with toffee insurance in which it was clearly mentioned that we will get refund on hotel cancellation if we provide canceled air tickets, i have provided all document of insurance and canceled air tickets but mmt is refusing to give refund. They were ensuring till last moment that they are working and will get refund after the booking date will pass but now after 15 day they are refusing to give refund

                                        Booked a tour to paris[booking id - in1b[protected]] (4 nights and 5 days) scheduled from 12th to 16th april through make my trip on feb 17 and paid an advance of 1, 15, 000 inr. Kuwait aiways was booked for delhi-paris-delhi. Hotel pavillon opera lafayette in paris was booked for accommodation. Visa appointment was scheduled on march 4th and by 9th of march our visa was rejected. We've immediately contacted our mmt agent and informed the same and requested the initiation of refund. There was no positive response from them till the very end of march. Then we were provided with an option of refund of only 19, 950 via gift voucher which we refused. As of april 16 we were provided with 2 options -
                                        1. Refund of 19, 950 in the mode of payment
                                        2. Refund of 59, 950 as gift card
                                        According to the cancellation due to visa rejection policies of make my trip, we've immediately intimated them with same and now we are being charged with such unfair cancellation amount.
                                        If there was no guarantee of visa approval then how can they book all the airline tickets and hotel reservation?
                                        Such actions only lead to breach of trust towards the company.
