I got less amount of refund from make my trip for my journey planned for 04/04/2020 from mumbai to tirupati. I have tried to call them on their number which is now a day gives recorded answer with no solution. My mail is also answered via automatic mailer wherein they are advising me to seek online resolution via website. But i am not getting any resolution. Therefore, i am seeking your intervention. My all details are as under:
1. I have purchased mmt double black program in may 2019 with my spouse and daughter as co member. This program provides for full refund of flight tickets at 2 occasions without any cancellation charges and 2 hotel bookings
2. Accordingly i availed the 100% of flight fare refund for by cancelling my journey from jaipur to mumbai booked by flight vides id no: nf[protected]. This being the first occasion of the flight cancellation as per terms and conditions of the mmt policy the amount rs.4548 being the full value of ticket was credited to my wallet with life time validity (I. E. With no expiry)
3. In march 2020 i booked for another journey with my spouse and daughter (Total 3 tickets from mumbai to tirupati vide id no: nf [protected] by spicejet flight no sg 467 for which rs.11399 was charged to me. Accordingly rs. 6851 was paid by using credit card after deducting rs.4548 the wallet cash which was credited to my account as per details given in point no.2. Further rs.624 was refunded to me due to non acceptance of seat booking charges. Therefore the net charges were rs.10775 (Rs.11399-rs.624)
4. Return ticket i booked from chennai to mumbai on 06/04/2020 vide id no nf[protected] for all three travelers by go air flight no g8 304. For this i have incurred rs.5314 by my credit card.
5. In view of the spread of covid-19 and widespread cancellation of many flights i opted for cancellation of my journey tickets from mumbai to tirupati on 04/04/2020 as i was covered under mmt double black. I enquired at website and found that rs.7445 was refundable to me after deducting rs.3330 from rs. 10775 i. E. The net amount i have paid at the time of this booking. And accordingly did the cancellation. I did not receive the proceeds till the end of march. Hence i decided to interact with myra (Online support) and accordingly my issue has been resolved as per details on website by crediting rs.645 to my account. It means i have charged rs.10130 (Rs.[protected] and not rs.3330 as displayed on website while cancelling the tickets. Therefore i have been overcharged for rs. 6800.
6. Further, i also observed that on mmt website my journey dated 06/04/2020 from chennai to mumbai is displayed as completed. It’s a big surprise as all flights were cancelled due to covid-19 and nationwide lockdown. As per information displayed on your website that airlines are working on this and necessary credits will be restored to my account either on airlines website or on mmt website. But till date i am not able to find any credit note on any of the website for this journey. For this journey i have incurred rs. 5314.
7. In view of this i request you to please arrange to provide refund of rs.6800 for mumbai to tirupati flight and credit note from go air of rs.5314 for chennai to mumbai flight.

    I have booked a flight to and fro from bangalore to japan from march 20th to april 5th. Booking reference no. Nn[protected]. The ongoing flight was cancelled by malaysia airlines on 17th march. Mmt didn't provide me with any alternate flight. I called them, and they agreed to give full refund for the cancellation because the flight was cancelled by airlines.     There was a scheduled travel against booking id # nf[protected] & nf[protected]...pnr # yee7gx, mg1jgb. But due to covid 19, no travel took place. I am still following up with Go air and MakemyTrip for refund or credit in my account.. But still no input from them. Need help to get return against this travel. Hope I am giving enough input now...

      For my booking in airasia, through makemytrip, due to the lockdown, flights were cancelled. Airasia confirmed refund of the amount to makemytrip, but makemytrip refuses to refund the amount to the source of the booking. Instead they hold the amount back in their wallet. When the airlines and consumer are both suffering, it isn\'t fair for agencies such as makemytrip to make profit out of it.

        Hi team,

        I want to share you that i booked a holiday trio via agent-om shukla and mail-id-om. [protected]@makemytrip.com with this booking id - nl[protected].
        I tried multiple times and he convinced me that no worry, we will refund you your money as hotel booking has been cancelled before 4 days of starting the trip.
        And i have some call record too and proper mail communications too.

        Please do the needful.

          Pandemic situation: this is regarding the two international flight ticket done through mmt. Details below. After following up for a month and investing lot of time and effort with the mmt they agreed to cancel the ticket and initiated the refund.
          Although the fights were not operational, mmt was not processing the full refund whereas airlines were offering the full refund

          The second ticket refund in1b[protected] is not yet received in our bank but we can see the same amount is transferred to mmt wallet.

          However, the mmt login says that the amount is refunded to state bank account. I am also attaching the screenshots of the trip cancellation and mmt wallet.

          This is cheating from mmt that they have transferred the money in wallet rather then bank.
          This is fraud

          We are trying to contact them but no one is responding and actioning in this, the amount is more than 1 lakh.

            Dear sir/mam

            I had booked a flight from amsterdam to mumbai departing on the 15th of march 2020 through the makemytrip website. The flight was an indigo airline flight operated by turkish airlines. Due to coronavirus, turkish airlines have canceled all the flights departing from europe. As i was traveling through turkish airlines my flight has also been canceled.

            However, when i contacted the make my trip customer center, they refused to accept that the flight has been canceled and hence they were not willing to modify my flight. I also confirmed with indigo airlines and turkish airlines, and they also confirmed that the flight is canceled. I tried to reason with makemytrip customer care and also showed turkish airline flight status but still, they did not agree with me. I have attached the screenshot of the flight status as visible on the turkish airline website.

            I requested makemytrip to cancel and make arrangements of a different flight but still they didn't. I had to travel from another flight and it costed me a lot of money extra but that's okay as it was required. I contacted indigo directly, and they told me that the flight was cancelled automatically and the refund was initiated from their side to makemytrip (Screenshot attached)
            However, it has been more than 1 month (45 days) since we have told them and the money for our cancelled flight has still not been returned. We have tried dialing the costumer service multiple times but till no avail. We have also emailed them all the details and there has been no response.
            We can understand due to the situation but please help us to get refund as soon as possible as now it has been over 45 days.

            I am attaching all the necessary documents. As you can see the flight status shows completed on the makemytrip website and when i email them or try to contact them there is no response or their typical response. I have emailed them and called them atleast 20 times.

              I had booked flight via makemytrip from mumbai to gwalior, it was a connecting flight mumbai to delhi via spice jet and delhi to gwalior via air india (There was a layover at delhi). Flights got cancelled due to ongoing pandemic and makemytrip is not refunding the amount to bank account instead they are creating credit shell which can be utilized to travel till feb'2020.

              I am not a frequent traveler and not planned to travel till
              Feb'2021, their credit shell is of no use for me.

              I am following up with makemytrip on mail id - [protected]@makemytrip.com but they are not responding even unable to get in touch with makemytrip agent.
              Its been 7-8 days since i am following up but no response.

              Hence i request you to help me in getting refund of amount - 14, 113/- to my bank account as per
              Government advisory.

                I have booked a hotel in dubai for my friend in dubai from 25 march 2020 to 30 march 2020 through makemytrip. Due to spread of corona virus we could not go there because of travel restrictions by government and we requested the hotel and makemytrip to cancel this booking and make the refund and this booking got cancelled and on 6 april 2020 we got an email from makemytrip that this trip has been cancelled and we will get back the refund in 4-5 working days. But till now we haven't received any refund despite of several requests. I request you to please look into the matter and do the needful and help me in getting back the refund.

                  I canceled my ticket on21st march 2020 of the journey dated 22nd march 2020 due to janta curfew having pnr-njw9gj.

                  I got the mail from indigo that i am eligible to get the refund amount of rs 6, 500/- from the travel agent i. E., from makemytrip immediately.

                  But makemytrip is neither refund the amount or nor given any response even after my numbers of followup.

                  Please look into the matter asap.

                    A refund of my airline cancellation fee of almost 8000 due to a medical issue — not related to corona cancellation is overdue. The airlines, spicejet refunded the money to make my trip way back in march 2020. Mmt gave assurances of refund in 24hours, then 1 week, now been more than a month, but my refund hasn't been processed. All the email and conversation screenshots are attached

                      Hi

                      I booked international tickets (Booking i'd nn[protected] for the travel on 24 april however due to the current situation and lockdown in india, the flight did not operate. I have been trying to reach out to customer care team since long time but no success. I have raised a service request but no proper response received till now. This is really frustrating me as i have spent around 1500 aud for the tickets which is huge amount. I would either like to get the amount refunded or other alternative. I am expecting a quick response without any further delays so that i can plan my new trip according my. Also airlines have made it clear to contact the travel agent when the tickets are booked through them.

                      Can I have an update on this? Its been a while since I have raised the complaint.

                          My compliant is regarding my refund status - nn[protected]...
                          I am continuously following up from make my trip from last one and a half month but n o one bothers to reply. Only thing i get is auto generated reply that we have raised the query to airlines and will revert as soon as we receive the funds. However, singapore airlines has accepted the request and refunded the amount (Mail attached for your reference.) it's very difficult for me chasing every week for the same and it's not a small amount.
                          Request you to please take any action. Even there customer care doesn't support.

                            Dear sir, the cancellation money against my booking id in1b[protected] has been parked in makemytrip "my wallet". This money can only be used against travel, hotel booking etc.
                            As i need money badly for my day to day expenditure, i am not able to use this money. I have chatted many times, but i am not getting any solution.

                            I request to refund my money to my bank account (From where payment via net banking was done) rather than parking in my wallet account.

                              After following up for last 5 weeks. Make my trip has not refunded ₹8247 and stop answering calls, mails and messages. They are cheating and harassing customers. Airasia has given them the refund but they have not refunded me after receiving from the airline. Airasia gave them the refund on 5th april and i have email from the airline. Initially their agent “arpit sharma” had emailed me that refund as been processed and after 15 days i get call stating they haven’t received refund from airline. While airline already refunded make my trip on 5th april. They are cheating and not refunding my money.

                              Airline has already given the refund to make my trip. Make my trip has not yet processed refund. Their agent “Arpit Sharma” sent me email that refund has been processed and later on changed his words stating still under airline verification . Airline has already gave the refund.                                 Sub - complains about customer service and refund amount…
                                Respected sir
                                I am subhashis tripathy from mumbai… i booked a travel trip from mumbai to kathamandu on 16th march 2020 and return on 19th on march 2020 by make my trip. Due to unavailability of direct flight i got tickets via delhi in both side of travel on indigo like,
                                16th march (Departure)
                                Mumbai to delhi – pnr no - sqem3r – 00:50 hr
                                Delhi to kathmandu – pnr no - yd5yfb - 07:15 hr
                                19th march (Arrival)
                                Kathamandu to delhi – pnr no - bk68ug - 10:20 hr
                                Delhi to mumbai – pnr no - bk68ug -16:00 hr
                                But my problem is that due to corona i got massage on 12th march that my flights are canceled as per government advisory. I tried to contact to indigo customer care more than 80 times but no response because both numbers busy that day and tried make my trip customer care like more than 60 times… also i got no response.
                                As per my massage link, i tried in indigo website which was very slow and i had two option like reschedule or cancel my delhi – kathmandu and return trip… i tried more than 6 times to cancel but it was very slow then i clicked reschedule the time on same date and i got reschedule time on same date for my trip. But i am surprised that no massage or link about my mumbai to delhi…
                                On 13 th march i went to terminal 1 mumbai airport and tried to communicate but i got your those two customer care no and in one hour i got nothing else and no response from your customer care because one no was sounded congested and other was busy … that time i got one massage that my return flight once again canceled. Once again i tried both the indigo and mmt many times…
                                At last i canceled my trip both side on same day at 16:15 hr but i surprised on my refund value. It was full amount of my return ticket rs. 8095/- (Kathamandu to mumbai – pnr no - bk68ug) and on departure travel i got amount respectively, mumbai to delhi refund amount is - rs 445/- and delhi to kathamandu – rs.1013/- only.
                                Respected madam and sir my complain is that my problem to no connectivity with your customer care and not got proper feedback what to did. But you can think i got massage reschedule on my return ticket and half way (Delhi – kathamndu). I am traveled from mumbai to kathamndu. Not got massage to reschedule my mumbai to delhi if i didn’t go from mumbai to delhi how i travelled delhi to kathamndu. And forcefully i rescheduled my travel timing due to your site slow.
                                As per govt. Advisory and i massaged or mailed to both indigo and make my trip but not getting any satisfied response from any of them. Now both are blaming to each other’s mistake.in which i have suffered a lot in this panic time with a handsome financial loss. So kindly accept my application and focus on my problem and help me from this unnecessary financial problem and help in refunding my deducted amount as per your declaration on emergency due to corona pandemic.

                                  I have booked a flight ticket from make my trip. From kolkata to delhi indigo airline pnr no. Mqi1te. But the ticket was cancelled by airlines and full refund was given by airlines on 22-march-2020 to make my trip. Where as make my trip didnot refunded the amount to me. After many complains they only suggest for their thier self chat option which is ineffiecient. Kindy refund the amount as soon as possible to original source mode.
