I had a booking with reference no. Jvzswn with emirates and the amount paid was rs.50571 including rs.859 convenience fee. On 24-5-20 their app was showing as refundable amount of rs.50571 (Full paid amount) but today[protected] it is showing as rs.49,[protected] only but this refundable amount is incorrect since the flights were cancelled by the airlines due to travel restrictions and not by us. Hence the customer should not be charged for the convenience fee. Had everything been normal and the customer would have cancelled it would be considered ok but already the customer suffered due to not being able travel and then trying to rebook or think on other lines. I find it unfair that the customer has to pay even a penny for anything which was not under his/her control. Mmt is trying to extort as much as possible from customers-their policies keep on changing. On 8-5-20 they were refunding the full amount of rs.50571 but now they are deducting rs.859 and this is not fair. The airline is issuing open tickets for 24 months to be rebooked without any fare difference or charges in any alternative flights but the agent is insisting on fare difference if i opt for an open ticket and book on a future date. Hence i decided to get the full refund but that too they are not willing to refund in full. I wish the airline steps in and issued an open ticket to us with no additional payments in future. The airline asked me to approach the agent and this is the story. Another peculiar restriction they are adding is that if i opt for refund the amount would be credited to their wallet which would be valid for only 12 months and not to my source account. Thus they are in a way forcing us to book again through them and if we are not able to use up that amount they would forfeit it. No company insists on transferring the money to its wallet - all refund to the source account without any conditions.
Please intervene and ask emirates to allow us open tickets with no further or additional payments during rebooking or rescheduling. For round trips booked although through agents they are ready to reschedule flights directly on the request of customers within 24 months if half the journey was impacted due to covid restrictions. Likewise agents should have no say and should either refund the full paid amount or reschedule without any fare difference. Better option would be that airlines directly reschedule the flights on customer request and agents have no role in rescheduling. I find agents are trying to extort as much as possible by hook or crook without any rational base.
If fare difference would be charged at the time of booking i would prefer to get the full refund without even deduction of convenience charge.

Changed my mind and instead of cancellation opted for open tickets to save my money from being deducted from the refundable amount.In any case emirates is providing the option to rebook without any fare difference

The policy of crediting the refund to MMT wallet is not fair since international flights are highly priced and specially emirates flights are very expensive and it would be difficult to utilise the wallet amount in a year.Further how can cash wallet be forfeited within one year-it is our cash lying with the Company and should have lifelong rights if the customers.Is thus not cheating policies being promulgated by MMT?Kindly curb these practices and compel them to refund full amount paid to the original source instead of wallet.

At MMT there is the option to file a claim
For open ticket as per image attached which means we can have an open ticket to travel at a future date which would suit us without having to pay any additional fare or charges but MMT is insisting that fare difference would be applicable although the booking date was 25-2-20 and travel date was before 30-11-20 and as per emirates these are covid affected flights and would not entail any charges or fare difference.Kindly ask MMT to keep the tickets open and reschedule without any fare difference.

Still their policies differ from those of the airlines and they are adamant for charge of fare difference.It seems illogical to me that a covid affected flight beyond our control would be charged for fare difference

Since convenience fee would be deducted to the extent of Rs.859 I preferred keeping my tickets open and go fir rebooking on a future date

    The governments of both counties india and usa have passed an order not to penalise customers for cancelled flights.

      My one is k5qdfl and my travel date was 23rd may and flight got cancel by airlines on april 1st week.in that case i have requested airlines for refund and they have refunded my amount from credit shell to make my trip to transfer it to my original payment mode. But make my trip is continuing denying that they have not get any refund. Where as spice jet finally said that they have refunded on 5th may and amount should reflect within 48 hr and take this as final announcement that mean make my trip is not refunding. Some time saying airlines have refunded as credit voucher. Sometime did not get refund. Calling every 3-4 days and everyday saying something new. Have recorded all conversation with mmt. I have all mail which i got from spicejet.

      My amount is 26300 and make my trip should refund it. Airlines has refunded so they don't have any write to keep my money. They should solve my prob except escaping. They should contract airlines regarding refund if they have not get it yet. Totally they got amount but they are getting with us. Trying to convince us some how to keep our money to their wallet.

        I had booked a flight from chennai to shirdi by indigo bearing pnr no. Jipzfz and booking reference no. Nf[protected].
        Due to present conditions of coronavirus indigo vide their email dated of 22nd march 2020 informed me that they had revised the schedule for the flight and gave an alternate option for cancelling the booking at no charge.
        Considering the above i had cancelled the entire booking directly with indigo as per the online option.
        Upon cancelling i received an email on 22nd march 2020 itself from indigo informing the acceptance of cancellation and refund of rupees 12152/- and same to be informed to the travel agent (Ie : make my trip). I informed m/s. Make my trip regarding the cancellation through their app on 23rd march 2020 and also attached screen shot of indigo's email (As per requirement of make my trip) showing the confirmation of cancellation and the refund thereof with an advise to contact the booking agent that is m/s make my trip.
        However on 28th march 2020 i receieved an e mail from m/s. Make my trip of having processed a refund of rs 152/- only, where the refund of the entire amount of rs 13272/- paid was to be considered citing the present condition of covid 19 and as per indigo's communication.
        Inspite of various e mails to m/s make my trip there is no action taken by them to make the balance full refund of the booking amount totalling rs 13272/- (Including make my trip booking charges).
        In the meantime m/s indigo through their replies dated 3rd april 2020, 19th april 2020 and 21st april 2020 to my mails (Which were also sent to m/s make my trip but no reply recd. From them) having time and again confirmed that full refund of the booking amount has been sent to m/s make my trip.

        All the necessary communications recd. From make my trip and indigo have been attached.

          While i was booking a ticket from bengaluru to raipur on 20th may, 2020 for my brother, my money got deducted but the booking failed.
          They are having no option to address such issues on phone, the only way is through email but they are not responding. I sent them emails with screenshot of bank statement and also the chat support provide in the application is also of no use as they are asking for the booking id to proceed which i dont have as booking process failed.
          The service is very pathetic and there is no way i could reach out to them.

                This is regarding booking nf[protected].
                I totally understand the current situation due to covid and everyone is struggling in their own way and thinking about profit and revenue. Same time as a prime customer i can expect atleast minimal response in this critical time.

                I have made booking on 6th april. For airasia hyderabad to jaipur with pnr r9ztrh. Due to covid19 flight got cancelled so as per instructions i have rescheduled it to 7th may as per instruction provided. Now again flight got cancelled and i have initiated the request for refund/credit. However i am not getting even single response from makemytrip or airasia. Airasia people are hardly bother about their bookings. Airasia tool ava, tried to initiate the credit but no use of that its saying check with booking agency which is makemytrip. Again i have submitted the credit account form which was provided but after submission no confirmation or any acknowledgement. After that i have initiated the refud request from makemytrip also but so far there is no update.

                How can you be so irresponsible and playing with out hard money. Its not only about money but about service as well and how much time we are wasting for such kind of irresponsiblities. If you go and check reviews people and angry and crying because there is no clarity for our bookings.

                Requesting you to please contact me and clear the directions so that i can proceed with my further bookings. Or have to think twice before using makemytrip.

                Hope you will understand the concern and revert back asap.

                It just automated message which you guys are sending to all customers. Why just can you put my money back to Wallet or some other alternative. ..Airasia saying talk to MMT, MMT is saying talk to Airasia ???? Simply tell me what could be the solution here???/ ...are you guys realizing how people are getting frustated because of your worst service. Can you please make arrange a call to my number [protected].

                  I have a flight booked via makemytrip online with booking idnf[protected].
                  I have a zero mmt cancellation bought along with the flight ticket.
                  I had bought this zero cancellation offer for 999 inr during the booking.
                  My ticket clearly states that airline cancellation charges before 3 days is zero including makemytrip charges. Zero cancellation fees : 24 hrs before departure.
                  I called mmt on contact number[protected] and have registered a complain[protected] and[protected]
                  I do not wish to change dates, as this was a return flight booked. The inbound flight was already cancelled due to lockdown.
                  I have been only offered credit shell for same passenger, which is of no use to me.
                  Why did mmt charge me 999inr, if mmt cannot fulfill the zero cancellation policy. This is money making scheme for mmt and a fraud.

                  I need full refund as per the zero cancellation policy and do not need a credit shell.

                    I had a ticket booked from sri lanka to bangalore on indigo on march 20th 2020. The flight was cancelled by the airline and i was called by the sri lankan office and informed of the same. As per the airline, i would be entitled to a full refund of the return fare.

                    I have also received a mail from indigo airlines confirming that the refund amount has been processed through make my trip. However, this is being ignored by make my trip and they have not processed my refund. I have mailed both parties many times and have over 25 mails in correspondence to both parties to have this refunded.

                    My pnr number was tjl8pz, a refund of inr 6, 857 was processed for indigo flight from colombo to bangalore on march 20th, 2020. Attached is a copy of the mail recieved from indigo.

                    I prefer to have a full refund of the said amount and not with make my trip wallet, but to the card used to pay for the ticket.

                      We have booked our flight tickets to bali and our departure from hyderabad to bali was on 05.03.2020 and arrival from bali to hyderabad was on 13.03.2020.. We have raised queries and awaited for assistance by way various means of communication to mmt to my bad luck none of them reverted. As a last resort i have sent various mails for mr. Deepak karla (Ceo) help but there was no reply from him too. One fine day somehow i could able to get one contact number of mmt and they asked me to share all the details. I have shared each and every proof of my chat/e-mails everything to mmt executive ms. Vandana she has checked the details and finally said that refund/postponement is not possible i request you to look into the matter and help me with postponement of the flight tickets/or the refund as the situation was caused by covid-19 which was not under our control..

                      It has been two days now no one has reverted, pathetic service of MMT. What is this Deepak Karla (CEO) doing I don't understand. The customer care executives are not bothered they are just like Tape recorders they are not even escalating the issue to the higher authorities and even sharing the details, if asked they are saying they are not aware of the details. Ridiculous that staff doesn't know the E-mail ID/contact numbers. . Hoping that I will get some solution through this site..

                        I have booked a flight from raipur (Chhattisgarh) to amritsar on 17 march for the date 25th march with booking id nf[protected] and pnr 2j0slq, which is cancelled due to covid-19 by the airways and i also called customer cure on 22 march to cancel my flight, customer care executive cancel my flight and said that full refund will be initiated soon with in 7-10 days and asks me if i want to book for any other dates but that didn't work and i apply for refund. From that date till now i haven't receive my refund and i called make my trip many times but its all a waste. If the company is charging for booking with in a minute and why should they took that long for refund. On 18th april i received a message which i attached below.

                        We have received the cancellation request for your makemytrip booking id nf[protected]. Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, there has been dynamic changes with the airline cancellation/reschedule policies. We will be able to process applicable refund if any, only once we receive the same from the airlines, subject to the terms and conditions as may be prescribed by the airline. You do not have to call or write to us to check the status as the relevant information will be auto updated once received from the airlines. Appreciate your understanding. Please ignore if you have already received the applicable refund for your booking

                          I had booked tickets to travel to us through kuwait airwys.. But, due to covid, the flight was cancelled. I had requested for refund. But the refund is credited to mmt wallet where it says we could ony use it for future travel & hotel booking.

                          I have paid the ticket from my bank account. Kuwait airlines too refunded it. What authoority does middle man mmt has to hold the funds with them? It has to be returned to me?

                          [protected] (Toll free) is non operational. The website does not have an option to post a query regarding this.

                            I have been trying to reach MMT help desk but they abruptly disconnecting my call. I want refund in my bank account rather than in MMT wallet but they are not even listening to my complaint. I have been trying to reach them for the last 2-3 days.

                              Its been 55 days since the airlines cancelled the flights and i have cancelled the same on make my trip, but till now i have not received my refund till now even when government said people will get full refund from airlines, after 55 days today someone called and emailed from makemytrip saying there will be cancellation charges and whatever is left will be credited to makemytrip wallet, first of all we are accepting cancellation charges upon that they are not offering my refund to original mode of payment.. Please help me get my refund in original mode of payment..

                                  I booked my ticket from BLR-IXD with Indigo on MakeMytrip app.
                                  Indigo cancelled my flight with PNR: 'NH5TRC' and offered my to book another flight or cancel that flight promising that entire amount will be refunded to my account with no penalty as the fault was theirs.
                                  I cancelled this ticket on 17th Feb 2020 and refunded amount should have been credited to my account within 5-7 working days but still I haven't got the refunded amount in my bank. I contacted Indigo about the same and they told me that they have processed the refund amount in my booking agency wallet that is MakeMyTrip and now MakeMyTrip is responsible for crediting the amount to my bank. I tried contacting MakeMyTrip about it but all their customer support are shut down due to lockdown and their website complaint forum does not work at all. I tried emailing them but always get a robotic response to use complaint page on their website which doesn't work.
                                  Also the worst part is that MakeMyTrip shows that journey as completed and even dares to ask me about the feedback of how the journey has been.
                                  I am completely frustrated by the support MakeMyTrip gave me at this difficult time and I will never book my flight again with it.

                                        I have cancelled my booking on may1st and request for refund but after two weeks on May 15 it’s again showing booking confirmed. I contacted airline customer care, they said that they already issued the refund to MakeMyTrip but it’s showing still booking is confirmed.
