unfair higher fare charged by lying that there was fare rise

I booked a ticket yesterday night through MMT and the fare is showing as Rs.118231 at the airlines but Mmt has charged 129993 -the airline itinerary shows the correct fare but on offline booking the agent Rishiraj Kashyap wasted my time on call by talking unnecessary things and then all of a sudden said that fare had increased by the airline and forced me to pay additional amount.Even now Cleartrip etc are showing that there are seats available...

Reference no.[protected]Booking id nn[protected] the refund on e flight ticket mumbai - kathmandu-mumbai amount rs 13050 is still not received in my bank card account although ticket was cancelled online at their website on 15th feb 2020. Mail communication is still on without any result. Further the cancellation charges in this agent is high compared to others like goibibo as my recent experience.

    MakeMyTrip have started new visa service last year, I was planning to go to singapore and send them passport details and money for visa for me and my kids. Next day they called and said tickets are compulsory for Singapore visa since my travelling dates were not clear due to coaching classes I couldn’t book tickets so I cancelled visa application, I paid for 3 visa application, they say they’ll refund it in 15 days but not refunded till now as of I check my statement if the refund is to my credit card, I also want confirmation from them, there is not specific costumer care department for visa section and tickets and other section people say they can’t help me with this. So I am trying to contact MMT for past 7 months about this visa cancellation refund but no help, I even sent mail to their customer care but no response

    This is not resolved some guys took money from my account in the name of help desk from consumer complaints.in I have give police complaint, such a waste forum, thieves everywhere glory to india

      Flight of air tanzania was delayed in jnb by about more than 2hr 30 minute which was supposed to reached by 12:45 pm at jnb whereas air tanzania was reached at after 15:15 on date 19/08/2019.

      This flight departed from mumbai about 1-1.30 hours or about 7 am instead of 5.50 am. It reached to dar a salem at about 12pm (Local time) which was supposed to reach at 9.40 am (Local time). And then connecting flight lended to johannesburg at about 3.30 pm (Local time) which supposed to reach at 12.45 pm (Local time). And so that we missed our next flight to maseru which was at 3 pm from jnb.

      After lot of requests on the help desk, air tanzania responsible person came at international transfer desk and then he has provided us accommodation for the night and when asked for the new ticket for the missed maseru flight of south african airlines, he told that his duty time is over and also next flight is on the next day so they'll give solution on next day morning at the help desk.

      On next day morning, no any responsible person came from air tanzania at the airport to give us the solution. We also tried to contact air tanzania but no any response from their side also. Makemytrip executive also tried to contact air tanzania but even after waiting for about an hour no any response from their side also. And there was only 1 flight available for johannesburg to maseru in which seats were available so that we've to book it at any cost which is at zar 8342.86

        Reference: scoot flight tr-100

        I am writing here in connection with the above flight which i have booked onto on 24th november, 2019 with booking id nn[protected].
        The flight was supposed to depart from singapore at 5:30 hrs on 11 feb, 2020, but was cancelled by airline due to outbreak of coronavirus in wuhan, china.

        According to scoot airlines announcement over the cancelled flights, i am entitled to the 100% refund against my unused itineray via original payment mode. According to my enquiry with the airline, the scoot airline has already refunded the entire amount to makemytrip. This flight was cancelled by the airline so nor the airline or makemytrip is liable to deduct any part of the amount as any kind of fee.

        But makemytrip has only refunded me a part of the amount paid which is around rs. 19222 out of rs. 23934.

        I am looking forward to receive the outstanding amount of rs. 4712. And also request to provide the breakup on refund.

        I tried to reach makemytrip through email [protected]@makemytrip.com and even through app where they have already closed the forum just after incomplete refund.

        I attach a copy of the ticket, screenshot of refund amount received and details of refund already collected by makemytrip from scoot airline.

        Why MakeMyTrip is too slow to respond to their customers when they have complaints. Otherwise, they show themselves as very welcoming at the time of booking.

          I booked my train ticket from rameshwaram to chennai egmore for 9th may 2020 in make my trip portal.in this process before getting into irctc web portal 1530.46 deducted from my account without booking and then i didn't received any alert msg or booking status from make my trip portal. Still i didn't get no response from their end (Very poor in customer response). I lost my amount on 21.02.2020 who will be responsible? I there any employee working in this portal or its running on its own?
          No failure msg also received from make my trip. Why?

            Due to mmt, we came to know the hoysala resort coorg, mmt is the mediater to us to showing the hotel amenities. The resort is pathetic and not worth. Kindly should be taken action against mmt for misleading us in selecting the resort. They should be independently verified at their end before posting on the site. We really get nervous when we entered the resort, no hot water, no tv dish recharge, lock was out of order, poor house keeping service, no electricity and many more. We wanted our money to be refunded for the poor services provided by the hotel management for which i make responsible for mmt for misleading me and my family.

              I have booked a room in sea sun, home stay, aurovillle bus stop, ecr main road, periyamudaliarchavadi, pondicherry on 21 st february 2020 for one night stay from 22nd february to 23 rd february 2020. I have paid rs. 3224/- (Online payment. I reached with my family on 22nd february 2020 at aurovillle bus stop, ecr main road, periyamudaliarchavadi, pondicherry, but i couldn't identify the building as no name board was displayed there. After long enquirers i reached the above said place. They showed me the room. It was really horrible. I understood that the room was not safe to stay with my family. The place and room was not clean. So i didn't occupy the room.
              I think this type of hotels will certainly damaged you good name and reputation.
              I request you to refund the amount paid. The details given below.

                I am trying to book international tickets for 6 passengers since y'day, but no one is properly coordinating. Y'day kajal sharma reallocated my case to ali because her shift is got over. Late in the evening ali called me and said that he will call after studying my case but i didn't received any call yet. Today i call again and someone has connected to international flight booking department and i waited for 30 minutes after call got disconnected. Again i called ín the evening someone took the call i think his name is saurabh and same he repeat that "i will call in 5 mins" but i didn't received call yet.
                It's really worst support i getting from the support team.
                I am thinking to take yatra service.

                    I have attempted a flight ticket booking on dec 29, 2019, there were 2 failed transactions were the amount was deducted from my hdfc and sbi for rs.11373. Make my trip has processed refund to my hdfc. However i haven't received refund to my sbi yet. It has been 50 days, make my trip says refund is processed and gave me a reference number arn number. I have gone to the sbi branch but bank has confirmed me that there is refund transaction with that arn number given by make my trip. Make my trip has given me a wrong reference number. No matter how many times i call make my trip, they keep telling me they are still working on the issue. I have shared my bank statement, evidence from sbi mentioning they cant find the transaction with the arn number given by make my trip. Please help me on this incident.

                      change in my cab booking time

                      I have booked a cab from makemytrip at 9.30 am, for mumbai international airport fo r 10.15am, however they have changed my booking time to 11.30am.

                      When i called the customer care number and informed them about the issue and said i have a flight at 1.00 pm and cannot take a cab of 11.30am.

                      They said because u have booked at 9.30 am, that's why the booking i done at 11.30.

                      I had booked flight tickets to singapore on make my trip but due to corona virus i have cancelled the tickets but make my trip is not offering any refund and refuse to give any information.

                      They have purposely delayed the information and blaming it on airlines i had spoken the agent also he said he would get back but they called last min so that i do not get any refund.

                      I have cancelled the trip because of corona virus.

                      They refuse to give any reason when i told them to give me mail bu airline they will not refund the money they have not provided any information.

                        This is with reference to my trip booking id nc[protected] booked on 15.01.2020 for journey from ludhiana to karnal (6.15am) for which advance payment of rs585/- was made by me. I got the message from mmt that driver detail will be updated two hour before the arrival. I had to start my journey at 6.15am to reach office in time. To my dismay no updation was there from mmt about the driver detail, when i had chat with myra (Your so called help) at 5.06am reply was "as of now the driver details for this booking are not available. The curd reply from customer care when i myself contacted your helpline it was informed"no cab could be arranged and kindly arrange it yourself". I asked for alternate cab option but no support my provided.
                        At 5.00 am i was left with no option available with me. Booking made by me a day prior and mmt assurance of cab was left with simple reply"as of now the driver details for this booking are not available. The same reply from customer care when i myself contacted your helpline it was informed no cab could be arranged and kindly arrange it yourself.
                        Is this the service we as customer expects from such a reputed company. If it was the fate of our believe on you it will always be better to rely on taxi services. Further more the compensation amount which i was offered was rs.619/- for which my complain was closed by priyanka mishra on pretext that i was unable to attend call. After that i repeatedly had chat with your executive with the assurance that matter will be taken up with higher executive. Still no reply for mail sent to mmt.

                          I have booked a trip from hyd - coimbatore trip id nu[protected], same has been cancelled by the operator. They told me it will reflect within couple of days. But till the date it was not reached my account. They complaining internally rather than resolving the issue. No one is taking responon this. Just cheating the customers. Unnecess. I paid 300 as a card penalty for their inefficiency. They using customer money illegally. No one is responsible in mmt. What kind of md, ceo they have even sop. Very worst company i've even seen in my life.

                            I made a hotel booking from mmt and made payment online because no pay at hotel option was available. When i reached hotel for check in i was told that i cannot check in because they are not accepting online payment. And i was not allowed to check in. I called to customer care for more than 6 times. Everytym they told wait at the reception for 15 min. I waited for 2hrs and within this 2hrs i have called them multiple times but everytime i got the same response that we are looking into the issue and our agent will call you within 10min but i didn't receive any call till 2hrs. This was really frustrating, firstly my check in was denied and secondly i was asked to wait at reception for more than 2hrs. But then also no response from mmt side.

                              I booked flight for 14 feb 2020, when i print ticket, date of travel it was showing as 14 march 2020. I called mmt customer care they told it's your mistake they can't help. I always cross check twice before any transactions, i clearly remember that i have selected 14 feb. This is the scam they are doing, even many airlines also part of this fraud, they share cancellation charges, among and that how they create money. Mmt website is created in such a way that it will change travel date in background while you make payment. They will earn money for booking, cancellation and for date change, and you will loose your hard earn money. This is advise to all to nit to book flight from make my trip website. It's scam.

                                Hi,

                                I cancelled a flight booked via mmt and haven’t received my refund amount yet and i not satisfied with the excuses made by mmt executive team. I feel totally harassed from them and wasted bunch of my time in chasing for my own money. It would be great if you can escalate this or take this forward to court. I want my money back along with interest for delay and still mmt team is delaying this with everyday new excuses.

                                  Booking id is nn[protected].

                                  Before going to abroad, i have confirmed with mmt regarding baggage information. They have confirmed with air india and replied that for student visa holder one extra baggage of 23 kg is allowed.

                                  But when i reached at ahmedabad airport for departure, i was charged rs 17980 by air india for 23 kg baggage.

                                  I registered complain regarding to make my trip but they have not provided resolution for this.

                                  So what is the meaning of your confirmation from make my trip. We have presented mails proof along with student visa. But air india denied extra baggage of 23 kg and allowed only 2 bags of 23 kg luggage.

                                  I have paid rs 17980 for extra, i. E. For 3rd bag of 23 kg.

                                  So please do the needful.

                                  If such information was provided by make my trip after confirmation with air india, thenafter also if customer was charged then who will pay this amount?

                                  Please escalate this case to make my trip delight team and help me at your level best.

I wanted travel in a custom made personal special tour because of my physical disabilities and interests. I researched extensively for specific flight timings, hotels and vehicles to meet with specific special disability needs and also the sights which i specifically wanted to see.
                                    Long before i even arrived in india, i made up complete 17 day itinerary choosing specific flights, hotels, and specific places i wanted to visit at every halt on the tour instead of the cookie cutter tour packages because of my physical limitations.
                                    Mr. Inbanathan promised me that he would fulfill all my special itinerary on my travel list without a doubt.
                                    I had paid rs.3, 33000/-in cash since i didn't have that much money my indian bank account (I do not do electronic money transfers even in usa). I wanted to pay by my bank of america visa credit card which was easily accepted by most of the big shops in small towns to big cites from kanyakumari to rishi kesh. But mr. Inbanadhan refused to accept my credit card saying that he does not have a particular accessible machine to accept my credit card! (It is clearly advertised in issaa world tour advertisement web page that it clearly states that they accept mastercard, visa, maestro and upi) since my itinerary for india trip is so tight, i did not have time to change the travel agent moreover i was sick with diarrhea. So i paid the whole amount in cash withdrawing from different atms (Though i was weak and dehydrated) in installments using my debit cards on 25th, 2019 and paid all of rs, 3, 33, 000/-at my cousin's home. When i asked for a receipt for my cash payment of he said he does not have one and i should trust him! Then i wrote a statement of paying all the charges of rs. 3, 33000/- by hand and made him sign his signature along with my signature with details of payment and the date! (If one pays for a small salt packet in any shop the customer gets a receipt!) he certainly wanted to take advantage of my vulnerable position since the date of departure is five days away and i was physically weak.
                                    He did not stick to my specified itinerary and made certain critical flight reservations and hotel reservations (Without consulting me at all and disregarding my needs) which did not suit my time and physical disability. So, in the course of our travel we had to cancel and re-book two hotel reservations and two flight reservations (One for me and the other one for my nephew who was escorting me) paying additional costs though all these cancellations were due to mr. Inbanthan's mistakes. He said one of the hotels at varanasi refunded rs. 16, 128 for cancellation of three nights. Though he told me that asia air did not refund any money for cancellation of flight i know that they refunded rs. 842! So altogether he owes me rs. 16970/- in total. I did not pursue the cancellation refunds of one other hotel and one other flight reservation.
                                    From the date of november 14th, 2019 i am requesting mr. Inbanathan of issaa world tour to refund the money he owes me. I asked mr. Inbanathan to deposit the money he owes me into nephew, mr. Ravikanth's (My escort on this tour) bank account.
                                    Mr. Inbanathan said that he incurred additional charges and he would pay only rs. 6000/-! I repeatedly requested him to send me the proofs (By e - mail or text messages) of the additional expenses and deductions to see we can look and reconsider. So far he has refused to do so until now! For the past one month he has not even replied to my e-mails, text messages and phone requests at all!
                                    I would much appreciate if you can look into this and guide me to retrieve my refunded money which is taken by my travel agent, mr. Inbanathan?
                                    What are the choices i have, to get back the money he owes me?
                                    Do you know where i can complain about these kind of frauds against foreign travelers — who can not stay in india for long to take them to court or report to proper authorities? I did not experience any thing like this at all through my extensive travel in india so far all these 48 years since i moved to usa.
                                    Please reply as soon as possible.
