I had a booking made on 20-4-19 and immediately found that the app had by default charged me for travel insurance of rs.249 which i had requested for refund and i was told that the refund was processed on 23-4-19 to the source paypal a/c and then to the actual source but nothing showed as refund for 3 months even after rigorous follow up with my bank and paypal besides mmt. Only after 3 months i got the refund-had i not followed up i would have lost my money due to false statements made by bhawana and other chat executives.in april i had received lots of calls from mmt confirming that refund had been processed.
Can anybody approve of such policies adopted by a big goodwill travel agent like mmt?

Refund for travel insurance made after lots of follow up for more than 3 months
I have already paid ₹850 to makemytrip.They have received the payment.But I am unable to find my booking.Repeatedly i'm calling their customer care but no response from their side.This is happening for second time.
I booked a flight with reference I'd EMT61616159. Amount got deducted from my account but payment transaction got failed. I have waited for 1 hour but didnt received any amount back to account. Very very horrible service.

    Hiii i had made a hotel booking of hotel le roi in the name of suryakant giri of 21 july 19 to 22 july 19. And on 20 th july i had called custmer care for an information if i could posponed dates or not and they had changed my booking dates without my information. Ie on 22 july19 to 23 july19. And on hotel on 21st i had to pay rs 2500 and stay for the day. And now mmt is asking me for invoice and saying that you are telling lie that you had stay on 21st. And hotel le roi delhi is also not given me any invoice and now hotel is also denying that they could not give back dated invoice. I had wasted my time and money. Make my trip is very bad.. All the fault is of mmt and they are not telling or asking from hotel. Kindly help me to get back mu refund from mmt

      I booked a room in pondicherry thru make my trip for 10th august and my check in time was 12 pm. When i reached the hotel at 12 pm, the staff at the hotel says they are not accepting online bookings anymore. When i contacted make my trip, they are asking me to walk-in to any nearby hotel and check for rooms availability. If i have to do this, then what is the point in booking a room in advance. Until i reached the hotel, i had no idea that my booking was cancelled. And here comes the funniest part. When i tried to search for a room for next week, this hotel is still listed in make my trip app as available.

        I have mmt travel finance of rs.200000 through capital float.. It is appearing in my mobile app and whenever i am going on the final payment page their is no option to use this credit facility. I tried more than 10 times to contact make my trip customer care and when they hear why its not appearing there. And issue is not getting resolved. When i called capital float customer care they says everything is fine from our side you need to speak to mmt customer care.

        I don't know but problem is not getting resolved and feeling i am dumped by this offer.

          Hello, i had booked a flight ticket on make my trip app for 10th august 2019 from kolkata to bagdoga on 8th august 2019. Booking id: nf[protected]. The booking was confirmed. Price : rs.4323. Next day that is on 9th august 2019 i found an unauthorised booking details on my app. Booking id: nf[protected]. Name: ankush sahu. I immediately called make my trip customer care... Number :[protected].. Time: 12:18 pm. And i complained about the said unauthorised booking and display on my app. The executive from make my trip verified my details and confirmed me that the said display is by some mistake and asked me to ignore that particular booking. Then i asked the executive to again confirm my ticket from kolkata to bagdogra and provided the booking id for the same. The executive confirmed my booking.
          Now around 02:52 pm on the same day...9th august 2019, i received a message on my phone, on my whatsapp and on my mail id that my ticket from kolkata to bagdogra has been cancelled and refund is in progress. Refund amount : rs. 243
          Original ticket price: rs. 4323.
          I checked on my make my trip app and it was true. My ticket was cancelled and the other unauthorised booking (Ankush sahu) was also showing cancelled. I immediately called the make my trip customer care and complained about this cancellation. They transfered my call to someone named: imran. I updated imran about the complete scenario from ankush sahu booking display to my complain in the morning to cancellation of my ticket. He verified my details and told me that the cancellation was done from my end and he cant help me now. I told him that i have not cancelled my ticket and also about the fact that the other unauthorised booking (Ankush sahu) was also showing cancelled. I told him that i will incur a loss of rs.4000 because of this unauthorised cancellation but he refused to help me saying its my fault.
          Because of all this i again had to book my ticket from kolkata to bagdogra at a much higher price (Rs.6439).
          Please help me get my complete booking amount back from make my trip.

          I have not cancelled my ticket on make my trip. Its a fault from their end.. Of their doing.. Why should i incur a loss for that (Rs.4323).

          I am a very old and loyal customer of make my trip.. I am very satisfied with their services till now. This is my first ever complaint against them. But if i am not wrong then why should i bear the loss.

            I just booked a hotel in bhubaneshwar for 727rs. But accidentally i put the date for 25 august instead of 17 august. Now when i am trying to change my dates it is deducting the full amount as a penalty. Now other option for me is to cancel and rebook the hotel. It is the policy of makemytrip that no cancellation charges are there for booking but again they are not refunding any money. When i called to their helpline no customer support person is talking and machine itself is disconnecting the call.

              I booked a bus from delhi to lucknow
              The shree krishna travel agency had no bus going to lucknow but took my booking under false information that was shown on the make my trip official website. They did not refund my money and left me alone stranded at mori gate delhi at 11:30 p. M. With no ride and as a female i need not emphasis on the safety issue in delhi at such an odd hour.
              This is fraud and if not resolved i'll be taking my complaint to a court.

                I had booked 2 rooms of a hotel in mysore on 29/07/2019 to 30/07/2019 hotel palace inn oyo property 10760. We reached hotel in evening at 9.00pm asking about our room keys the hotel staff said we haven't received any booking in your name, i showed him our confirmation mail, but he denied by saying we cannot do anything since we haven't received from mmt. I got stunned listening to this and called mmt customer care for help they said it's our mistake n we will resolve your issue within 45 mins, i said we are waiting with our infant childs outside hotel property so plz do it fast.

                45 mins crossed i felt nothing is done by mmt, i booked same hotel by paying 2600 /- cash which i booked earlier by mmt for 1760/-

                I kept on giving calls to mmt about this concern each n every time multiple customer executive spoke with him by describing the entire story to all of them but no solution from anyone n no feedback call received till next day morning.

                One of mmt executive told me that by mistake your booking got transferred to ludhiana hotel, so i said its your mistake n mmt should make necessary arrangements. I asked them to give me refund and the additional amount i paid in hotel amounting rs 840/- they replied by saying they will give 700/- in my go cash account. I also demanded to give a free hotel voucher for me for the trouble caused by your technical issues.

                I received refund but they didn't deposited 860 in my go cash they transferred it in cash reward which gets redeemed only 25% which was of no use.

                So mmt have proved that they are not professionals n they don't they responsibility of customers even if it is their mistake.

                So plz avoid booking with mmt.

                  I booked ticket with makemytrip india for travelling from bangalore to pune. My pickup was at 7.35 pm on aug 8, 2019. I was waiting at my pick up point more thn 2.30 hrs. Meanwhile i called more than 10-12 times to travel agency for enquiry of bus but they told me to wait for bus. Around at 10 pm they told me about cancellation of my bus. I was going to attend the exam and i missed that because of makemytrip. Makemytrip and anand travel agency associated with mmt is responsible for my loss. Even i have not got my refund of booking also. Please help me to get justice. I have attched copy of my ticket book with this appication. I will give all proofs if needed.

                      Make my trip has given me a mmt travel finance of 200000inr through capital float. Whenever I booked my air tickets, travel finance option was visible.
                      And from 15days its not appearing in my booking page. i tried to contact make my trip customer care but they told me technically problem thats why we withdrawn the service. Already my cibil shows i take a 2lac loan from capital float, thats why others bank not provide me any travel loan.Please resolve my this issue as I have to book the tickets.

                        I had booking in hotel in cochin hotel denied to give check in and make my trip tells give my 20 mins i will do something i was roming on road for 4 hrs
                        After 4 hrs i got room
                        Same problem happen again in allepey they also not giving check in i am not getting if they don't want to give check in why they are taking booking

                          I booked a ticket for my sister from coimbatore to chennai on the 16/07/19.
                          Through make my trip app. But after the payment the money got deducted from my debit card but ticket booking confirmation not happen... I e my ticket booking got failed. I called the makemytrip customer service to confirm the ticket status. But they told me that the ticket booking got failed and my money will get credit nin 3 working days.. Again i booked another ticket but similar way that also got failed by deducting my amount..
                          Now two times my money got deducted.. Nearly 8000 rupee.

                          After 3 days also my money not got refunded.. When i called the makemytrip customer service.. They are telling me that it's is in between the payment.. Gateway...

                          Till today whenever i am talking with them the are just tell like there refund team is working on that...

                          Till date i have not received my money back..

                          Kindly help me in getting this refund amount..

                          The service has been pathatic and i now tried of asking them.. But no proper reply.

                          I have been using MMT Finance for past 5 months and now i cant see my 2 lakhs credit of MMT finance payment. Please provide the MMT finance option back and when can i expect it back in payment gateway

                            I have never come across such a pathetic hotel in my life. First thing when i got the room i was shocked, i booked the hotel as per the images provided of the hotel on makemytrip, to my surprise the double saver room which they provided was entirely different from what they had shown in the photos, the worst was yet to come, when i switched on the AC, the AC also was not working, it was not cooling the room, i told the person i[censored] cant change the room its ok, but i cant sleep in this room as the AC was not working at all. I had my mom with me, i cant let her sleep without AC. So i spoke to you people Makemytrip, i even made them talk to the Hotel Sheetals person ( i guess he is son of the hotel owner). I was surprised when his son said that sir if you are not able to understand you can leave the Hotel, i will refund you the whole amount, he was so rude. I was given 2nd room in that the AC was working but the AC was making so much noise that it was not possible for us to sleep in that room, Even the tv channels were not coming in that room, so i again went to the reception and told the person in the reception that my AC is making lot of noise and even the channels are not coming in that room, the person in the reception was the owner of the Hotel, i was surprised the way, the loud tone he used to talk to me, I[censored] want to leave you can leave now, i will give you the money you have paid, in 600 Rs you cant get everything, he dint care about the customer. I dont knwo what kind of attitude they have, why so much attitude, they dint care about the customers. I was given 3rd room in sometime the room was fine, but again the same issue, the AC was not properly cooling, the hotel person had told me check and see i wont change the room after this, Ac was initially cooling after that the cooling stopped, we literally could not sleep the whole night as the AC was not working properly, i knew that i cant complain again as they will say you people are simply saying, and i was actually tired shifting my things from 1 room to another ... i dint want to change my third room.. i left the hotel early morning around 6.50 A.M. I dont know how the Hotel is even running, this people misrepresent people by providing fake photos and mislead customers to come to their hotel, The photos which they showed on makemytrip of hotel rooms are so different, rooms are nothing like what rooms i have actually seen, very small and congested rooms. They are fooling the customers, so that people book their rooms, up of that the attitude they carry i dont know for what. I am shocked that OYO is operating such hotels, i dont know how. I want strict action be taken against such hotel. Makemytrip should blacklist them, as this is going to spoil their brand name, as it is operated by OYO. Makemytrip people should escalate the issue to OYO Rooms and strict action must be taken against them. They deserved to be blacklisted.

                              Hi team,
                              I had a bad experience in this hotel i had to leave the hotel within 6hrs because there were no service provided no food no drinking water nothing was available... We were harassed by the hotel staffs. Kindly refund back my money. I had already raised a complaint but no response from makemytrip... Executives are not at all professional in makemytrip.

                              I want to get delete my account from MMT unfortunately there is no option available to delete Or deactivate.
                              I cannot find any other way out to delete it so
                              could you please do it from backend.
                              I do not find any use of the rewards points and do not use MMT on regular basis.

                              If required I will create new account.

                                I just made a booking from Varanasi to New delhi by air India.

                                I wanted to book the flight for 10th august but mistakenly it was booked for 10th september. So i instantly cancelled the booking.

                                I had paid Rs.1959/- for the booking but receiving a refund of Rs. 374/-.

                                Also, if the complete amount is not refundable then also you can deduct your nominal charges and refund the genuine amount. Infact i have cancelled the ticket in less than 15minutes after booking still the complete amount has been deducted.

                                If this is the refund policy of Makemytrip then will think twice before placing any booking in future.

                                Its been 2.5months now and I guess there is nobody out there to resolve my problem. If you people are not interested in resolving the issues then you should not even ask for the problems.

                                Worse experience in make my trip.

                                  Sub- Complaint against Hotel Golden Crest at Gangtok.

                                  Honorable Prime Minister

                                  Undersigned is a Person with disability and booked an executive room at Hotel Golden crest at Gangtok via Makemytrip(MMR) by paying the Pre decided fee as on 24/06/19.

                                  When I arrived at its entrance, I was shocked to see its sharp and slippery steps without any kind of ramp and handrails that is violation of a binding provision under RPWD Act 2016.

                                  Its floor, Toilet were inaccessible and I had get minor injures because of this inaccessible place.

                                  Its only wall fan in room was damaged and we have to spent night in such a panic condition.

                                  There was network issue so I had sent my grievances at Whatsapp of MMT but no action was taken.

                                  I condemn that this hotel is not eligible to book as MMT assured category and my booking amount must be refunded at the earliest.

                                  Because of my health issues, I avoid telephone.

                                    Hello,

                                    This is a complaint against make my trip that is online hotel booking website. I have booked a hotel in lonavala for stay from 26 july to 28 july from makemytrip mobile application and my booking number was nh[protected]. Problem that was occurred was when we reached at the property on 26 july we came to know that property was badly damaged by the rain water and we were not able to check-in in this hotel/property. So we called the property owner for clarification. He said that i have marked my property in black list as the property is damaged since 1 month so that any online booking could not made. But mmt (Make my trip) has given us booking. We called to customer support to get back up from mmt. They said that we will be given an alternative option to stay but the problem was not solved till 8:00 pm 26 july. So we have to search and stay for that night and it took more money to check-in some hotel late hours.
                                    Customer support told us to give us solution in next 24 hours, so we called next day also but they were not giving the solution and giving reason that your case has been escalated to our higher management team to get it solved. Then we keep calling every day to customer support but they repeat the same thing that you will be called by our higher team. They give fake assurance every time and just try to extend the time.
                                    Now today (6 august) it is ten days and problem is not solved yet. I only request the concerned person to initiate for the refund that i have paid for booking plus reimbursement for more money that i have to spent for my hotel booking on those 2 days.
                                    Now this is extreme level of disappointment. So get this problem solved as soon as possible.

                                      I booked an airasia airlines ticket from new delhi to bangaluru through make my trip (Travel date 19 july 2019). The ticket was cancelled by make my trip and air asia without my consent or intimation. I had not received any mail, sms for cancellation either from make my trip or from air asia. The make my trip app showed that the ticket was confirmed. On contacting the customer care of make my trip, they did not provide any reason for cancellation and are not accepting their fault. They have also not provided and resolution to my complaint and have not refunded the amount back to me. The customer support of make my trip is saying that the ticket was cancelled through ava chat on airasia website (Screenshot attached). The airasia customer support are saying that the agent from make my trip had made the cancellation on 26th of june 2019 and the refund of rupees 1098 was made back to make my trip with transaction id[protected] please register this complaint against both make my trip and airasia as they have cancelled my airline ticket without my permission and no refund has been provided to me
                                      I even booked two tickets for the next which were of double the price. I want refund for that as well

                                        I made a booking in jul using mmt travel finance with no cost emi for 3 months. I did not receive any biller or confirmation on the same. Upon inquiring it is understood that they have technical glitch in bill generation. Due to which i decided to preclose the whole loan amount and i could do that through mmt app.

                                        But still there is confirmation from both the vendors. Neither makemytrip nor capital float.

                                        Really a terrible experience with mmt. Cant believe some feature has been rolled out without testing first.
