I just made a booking from Varanasi to New delhi by air India.

I wanted to book the flight for 10th august but mistakenly it was booked for 10th september. So i instantly cancelled the booking.

I had paid Rs.1959/- for the booking but receiving a refund of Rs. 374/-.

Also, if the complete amount is not refundable then also you can deduct your nominal charges and refund the genuine amount. Infact i have cancelled the ticket in less than 15minutes after booking still the complete amount has been deducted.

If this is the refund policy of Makemytrip then will think twice before placing any booking in future.

Its been 2.5months now and I guess there is nobody out there to resolve my problem. If you people are not interested in resolving the issues then you should not even ask for the problems.

Worse experience in make my trip.

    Sub- Complaint against Hotel Golden Crest at Gangtok.

    Honorable Prime Minister

    Undersigned is a Person with disability and booked an executive room at Hotel Golden crest at Gangtok via Makemytrip(MMR) by paying the Pre decided fee as on 24/06/19.

    When I arrived at its entrance, I was shocked to see its sharp and slippery steps without any kind of ramp and handrails that is violation of a binding provision under RPWD Act 2016.

    Its floor, Toilet were inaccessible and I had get minor injures because of this inaccessible place.

    Its only wall fan in room was damaged and we have to spent night in such a panic condition.

    There was network issue so I had sent my grievances at Whatsapp of MMT but no action was taken.

    I condemn that this hotel is not eligible to book as MMT assured category and my booking amount must be refunded at the earliest.

    Because of my health issues, I avoid telephone.

      Hello,

      This is a complaint against make my trip that is online hotel booking website. I have booked a hotel in lonavala for stay from 26 july to 28 july from makemytrip mobile application and my booking number was nh[protected]. Problem that was occurred was when we reached at the property on 26 july we came to know that property was badly damaged by the rain water and we were not able to check-in in this hotel/property. So we called the property owner for clarification. He said that i have marked my property in black list as the property is damaged since 1 month so that any online booking could not made. But mmt (Make my trip) has given us booking. We called to customer support to get back up from mmt. They said that we will be given an alternative option to stay but the problem was not solved till 8:00 pm 26 july. So we have to search and stay for that night and it took more money to check-in some hotel late hours.
      Customer support told us to give us solution in next 24 hours, so we called next day also but they were not giving the solution and giving reason that your case has been escalated to our higher management team to get it solved. Then we keep calling every day to customer support but they repeat the same thing that you will be called by our higher team. They give fake assurance every time and just try to extend the time.
      Now today (6 august) it is ten days and problem is not solved yet. I only request the concerned person to initiate for the refund that i have paid for booking plus reimbursement for more money that i have to spent for my hotel booking on those 2 days.
      Now this is extreme level of disappointment. So get this problem solved as soon as possible.

        I booked an airasia airlines ticket from new delhi to bangaluru through make my trip (Travel date 19 july 2019). The ticket was cancelled by make my trip and air asia without my consent or intimation. I had not received any mail, sms for cancellation either from make my trip or from air asia. The make my trip app showed that the ticket was confirmed. On contacting the customer care of make my trip, they did not provide any reason for cancellation and are not accepting their fault. They have also not provided and resolution to my complaint and have not refunded the amount back to me. The customer support of make my trip is saying that the ticket was cancelled through ava chat on airasia website (Screenshot attached). The airasia customer support are saying that the agent from make my trip had made the cancellation on 26th of june 2019 and the refund of rupees 1098 was made back to make my trip with transaction id[protected] please register this complaint against both make my trip and airasia as they have cancelled my airline ticket without my permission and no refund has been provided to me
        I even booked two tickets for the next which were of double the price. I want refund for that as well

          Mumbai on 6 august 2019
          I made a booking in jul using mmt travel finance with no cost emi for 3 months. I did not receive any biller or confirmation on the same. Upon inquiring it is understood that they have technical glitch in bill generation. Due to which i decided to preclose the whole loan amount and i could do that through mmt app.

          But still there is confirmation from both the vendors. Neither makemytrip nor capital float.

          Really a terrible experience with mmt. Cant believe some feature has been rolled out without testing first.

            I have booked ticket on makemytrip on 14 jul 2019 and booking was failed and it shown message like reason for cancellation is wallet money inclusion.
            It is depends on your software issue only. But you blindly blamed like cancellation was done by me. You have to correct your software. Almost 1 month crossed but i did not receive my refund till now. When will i get my money back? It is showing refund was processed on 15 jul 2019. Waiting time crossed its limit. So please try to focus on my issue and let me get money back soon. Booking id nu[protected].

              Hi.
              I had taken an emi option on mmt finance and my emi gets deducted on the 5th of every month and today is the due date but i had already paid it on the 4th.
              Today i. E.5th, the amount got deducted again but in my balance, it is showing that it has been deducted only once.
              Please look into the matter and revert back as soon as possible.

                I was booking for hotel, at that time my payment got debited from my account but hotel not booked.
                While booking after debited my payment the payment failure option showing.
                I confirm from bank they said the payment successfully credited to beneficiary account, and i have a proof of that payment.
                I also tried payment gateway that is gpay they also showing of successfully credited amount to make my trip.
                But make my trip denied to accept the payment is in their account.
                And refused to refund my money.
                I tried many times and also shows the proofs but they denied and always suggest to check my bank statements.
                I don't know what to do please help me out in these situation.

                I booked jetairway flight through makemy trip on 25/03/2019 after that it's cancelled due uncertain closed of jetairways from that day till date I'm continuing follloup with makemytrip for refund but unfortunately I'm not unable to get my refund yet.

                  Mmt not even bother to update refund request reference id:[[protected]] nl[protected]

                  Due to uncertain death of my father have travelled back to mumbai from kaula lumpur on my own cost and requested mmt to refund some not attainted schedule plans amount and flight booking cost.

                  Due to genuine reason have raised request and all related documents submitted by me which was raised by mmt. But not even a single officer have reverted on my request..
                  After two months waiting period also mmt not even taking my request into consideration..

                  This is making me more negative on the earlier service experience i had with you guys.. And will never refer anyone due to such pathetic experience.

                  Have already raised many complaints on my request since June 19.. but till date no confirmation from MMT or escalation desk.. just delay on response mails getting forwarded by company... never seen such pathetic and bad customer service from any company who not even bother to give solution on my request as per genuine reason.
                  Have to return back from my trip on second day of trip due to uncertain death of my father and cancelled my hotel booking and schedule further 9 days trip. Requested Mmt to atleast refund some amount as it's my hard and sole money. But they can't value customers money I guess.
                  Have already escalated this to CEO also but no confirmation from company head also.. will never ever recommend MMT to family or friends anymore.
                  Very very disappointed with 5months delay in response...they aren't even bother to respond my emails...

                    To pay existing Travel finance taken as EMI, Now not allowed to pay as EMI by Capitol Float, only asking for full settlement amount. Due amount not showing in app and only full settlement amount is active.
                    I have MMT travel finance. Today 4th August, 2019 when i was trying to book flights the MMT travel option in not showing in the payment page. I attached the screen shots for further details. Very bad experience with MMT.

                      I booked a ticket from chennai to coimbatore in city travels on 07/07/19 morning 7.42am through mmt. Journey date is 07/07/19 night 10.40pm, without my permission the ticket got auto-cancelled and i didn't get my refund yet. I called the operator and they told me to book a new ticket, then i booked a new ticket and that also was through mmt.in mmt it has been mentioned that i they had refunded the amount on 7 july 2019 and i will see the credited amount in my bank account after 7 to 12 working days. But now it has been 30 working days but still i didn't get the refund i think this is the way of cheating the customers, is it so? And the major issue is they didn't even provide a customer care number, even if we search in net will get the toll free number which is not at all working and it's a # and in mmt app *chat with myra* is there which is utter waste and and this service is an irrational one and the reason why i am sharing this with you all is please don't book any tickets in make my trip because this is the third time i am experiencing this issue and there are so many good booking apps in play store.

                      Certainly not. On 7th july only the wallet amount of 36INR was refunded which is just the discount given by MMT from wallet.
                      But where goes my money 328INR. Don't give fake informations. cheating customers to the core. worst customer service again. People should boycott these apps.

And want to inform you that MMT has ADOPTED A NEW CHEATING TECHNIQUE, that is I have 4100INR in my wallet, but when it comes to booking page it says, insufficient wallet amount. Wow nice strategy to fraud the customers money.
                      And to my knowledge REDBUS app is far better compared to this.It just reveals the truth as it is, like amentities etc...

                        As a regular user of makemytrip services, i have been offered mmt travel finance of rs.200000 through capital float. It is appearing in my mobile app and i have completed the auto debit option.

                        But, whenever i am going on the final payment page their is no option to use this credit facility. I tried more than 10 times and when i contacted make my trip customer care, they are also not able to resolve the problem. And issue is not getting resolved.

                        I don't know but problem is not getting resolved and feeling i am dumped by this offer.

                          I accidently created an account on make my trip. I tried to delete it by looking into the account but couldn't find an option 'to delete'.
                          It is really annoying as i wanted to link it with my email id which is already registered on mmt. And now i cannot merge my two registered mmt accounts
                          One registered through my mobile no and one through my email id.
                          I would be pleased if you could delete it as soon as poosible. Kindly help me process.

                            I was trying to book ticket during ask for payment.. I have made payment but mmt portal shows failed payment.. And later i have received the massage that money has received by mmt and there tran ref i'd.
                            But neither i am able to find the ticket nor able to find payment back option.

                            On mmt help section there is only limited option for communication but with no proper answer. There is only one answer that u will get money back in 60 minutes but already passed couple of hours..

                              I had made a hotel booking for 2 nights in goa through make my trip on 7th jul'19. The booking id is nh[protected] and the name of the hotel was country inn and suites by radisson. The full amount of rs. 11, 245 was paid from my axis bank card. Later the same day i called make my trip and requested for an upgrade of my room category. I spoke to the agent named urna and she checked with the hotel and told me that my room would be upgraded to deluxe at rs 500 extra per night which has to be paid at the hotel directly and as a special offer mmt would refund me rs. 500 to my bank account. I agreed and asked them to proceed. I was assured that the upgrade was done and i received an sms from mmt confirming the charges and the refund amount. On 23rd jul'19 a day before my trip i called the hotel to confirm my stay. To my rude shock i get to know that mmt has not intimated the hotel about my upgrade. I called mmt and spoke to several of their agents who confirmed that the upgrade was not done and they denied that i was given the offer of 500 refund. I was then connected to a supervisor vivek who checked the sms records and confirmed that i was sent this message. He however then checked with the hotel and was informed that the mmt agent had given me wrong information the upgrade charge was 1000 per night and not 500 per night. So mmt has misinformed me about the charges assured me an upgrade offer which was not done. Since there was misinformation given, the supervisor agreed to process a refund of 1500/- and i would have to pay rs. 2000 to the hotel directly for the upgrade to which i agreed. I again received the message confirmation that my refund has been processed. However, till date the money has not been received. I called mmt several times my case was escalated to their customer delight team as well but they cannot provide me till date the exact date when the transfer was done to axis bank and what is the transaction id. They promised me call backs and i have not received any call backs. I paid the 2000 upgrade charge at the hotel and have not yet received my refund of 1500. I have even emailed them my bank statement as proof that the money is not credited.

                              I used makemytrip app to book train ticket from secunderabad to titlagarh on 15/7/19.but my booking failed and money was deducted from my account..I got a message from makemytrip that my money will be refunded after 3-12 days.but till now money is not refunded...please help me I want my money back..

                                I had booking hotel silver sand beach resort, daman for 2 night via make my trip on date 15/07/2019 and full amount paid 13249/- rupees via my hdfc credit card (Last digit 5656) and my hotel staying date on 27/07/2019 1.00pm and check out date on 29/07/2019 10:00am i reach at hotel for staying on date 27/07/2019 but hotel gate close after i had called make my trip provide hotel phone number: [protected], [protected] and discussed with hotel person but they said your concern of check in denied issue at the hotel as hotel was locked as government had sealed the property and they also told already inform to make my trip 10 days ago but makemy trip team didn't inform me on mail and sms and phone for hotel closing after i had called makemy trip team but they didn't any support for second hotel booking and didn't refund my money that time..

                                After since date daily, i am daily calling makemy trip team and they said your case has been register and our team 48 hours in call back but i didn't received any call yet and my money didn't refund..

                                I received on email my register id email via make my trip yesterday, in mention they called me and my mobile switch off call time but i didn't received any call that time.

                                Today, i had call makemy trip toll free number and discussed his team person miss sarika varma and i discuss for refund my money but she had same answer your case register and after 48 hours my team call back after i said i register my case in consumer complaints but she said you will action any thing as this case makemy trip don't care.

                                My traveling on date 27/07/2019 i didn't get hotel room because all hotel room had full so i had paid high charges stay in other hotel that time but it's ok but makemy team didn't paid refund money.

                                I am humble request for you, you will register my complain again makemy trip and i will take also legal actions because next time not cheat other customer.

                                You will discuss with makemy trip for refund my money and revert me as soon as possible.

                                  This is to state that i had booked jetairways flight from mmt for my wife on 11th april, 2019 connecting delhi to stuttgart (Germany). As soon as i got to know about jetairways has suspended all its flight, i cancelled my booking on 19th of april, 2019.

                                  Since then i am asking mmt about refund as it is their policy to initiate the refund to the customer. But they are not taking any action against it. Instead, they put call on hold every time or disconnected. Looks like they are not willing to pay.

                                  Even on the mails, they sometimes respond like "your refund request is in progress" or sometimes "you have not initiated a refund".

                                  We are currently in germany, and its very hard to connect to them. We already spent lot of money while calling them, also sent an email to the directors, but they never gave the resolution.
                                  Hence request you people to please keep this under your notice and take necessary action against this fraud. I am attaching all evidence of the actual conversation between me, mmt and jetairways. Please consider.

                                    I have booked irctc ticket twice in 4 months, both the times i have booked lower birth but every time they provide me the upper birth, the original fare was 1880 but they charged 2049, even then i booked the tickets, but after confirmation they have given me the upper birth. This happens every time when i booked with mmt.. I am totally frustrated with their services. The worst booking company ever you are mmt.. If you don't take any action towards this, i will mail to irctc against you and will file the complaint in consumer care.. I want revert for this.. How every time you guys cheat the people..

                                      Make my trip has given me a mmt travel finance of 200000inr through capital float.. It was appearing in my mobile app and wenevr i tried booking today 1st auguest 2019 option showed me in final booking page.. And from today its not appearing in my booking page and i tried more than 50timea to contact make my trip customer care and when they hear why its not appearing there.

                                      Please note that the MMTF program is temporarily disabled by Capital Float (Lending partner). During this interim, on-boarding of the new user is not possible and the existing user cannot see the MMT travel finance in the payment page. However, the existing user will be able to see the MMTF banner so that he can make the payment towards his existing loans(If any).
