I want make my trip to compensate me with full refund paid for the europe package and trouble, agony and terror i faced.
Here's my story to the so called brand makemytrip's callous attitude towards customers and you will be surprised to know how their executives lie when they are asked for refund.
I am a freelancer and a young citizen residing in maharashtra and this incident with me can leave anybody with panic and feeling of being cheated. So, my humble plea to is not only to get us compensation rather to make people aware of this online agency’s trivially treated business policies.
I would just like to your kindest notice the facts below casing our sufferings because of makemytrip:
1. Misleading information : i planned a europe trip. After getting visa of czech republic i contacted makemytrip to prepare the package for me. Their executive contacted me. I asked her whether it is important to visit prague in czech republic visa and she told no need to visit prague. I paid makemytrip an amount of rs 310000 in an advance and the executive prepared an itenary from delhi to amsterdam than from zuric to delhi. On the day of boarding ie on 19th dec 2018, the airlines denied us boarding on the ground that we do not have prague on our itenary. Our whole itenary got wasted. And we were thrown out of the airport in the middle of the night in a pathetic state.
2) non fulfilment of own commitment: in spite of makemytrip's 24 hours service commitment, they are unable to provide us emergency relief. Inspite of continuous pleading to give us an emergency number of a senior official so that we can call them, they did not gave a heed and everytime we had to call their universal customer care number and every time a new customer care executive picked up the phone and we had to narrate the story all over again to every single executive. All they were doing were transferring the call from one person to another.
3. Fake vouchers ; after getting betrayed by makemytrip in the boarding, i paid makemytrip again to rebook the tickets as i needed to visit europe asap as the validity of my tourist visa was only valid for ten days. So rebooked the flight for next day by paying a hefty sum of money, which made me literally bankrupt (I had to sell my phone too as the money which i was supposed to carry with me, i had to pay it on tickets again) so i cannot explore a single thing in europe. The package included disneyland vouchers, so it was the only hope for me to explore. So i went to disneyland only to find that the vouchers which makemytrip sent us were fake and invalid.
3) severe mental harasment to customers: inspite of calling and sending numerous mails to makemytrip regarding the mishappening which happened to me, they didnt even bothered to give back a call. When we call, all they could say that your request is being forwarded and the case is under escalation and you will recieve a call back from our side within 24 hours. But no calls or mails are being recieved. Every day i call three to four times to their so called customer care number only to get utter disappointment. Its so wierd and really very disheartening to know that if you need to make a fresh booking, you will recieve a call within one to two hours by their executive but if you need to make a complaint... No response...
On the other hand it’s so shattering that makemytrip being controlled from india itself neither could inform us about visas nor even agreed to cooperate us anyway nor provide a decent compensation for the agony they caused me. I didnt had money left to buy food in europe because of the negligience of makemytrip.
You can see above how make my trip ignored their own responsibility towards their customers. I am not seeking anything more other than what i lost because of makemytrip. I belong to a lower middle class family, and this trip was the result of one year severe day and night hardwork which was totally ruined by makemytrip. Even when they ignoredmy email demanding the refund of what i paid, they did not responded even a bit.
Rest of the things are mentioned in my petition and i hope this bench of honourable judges will understand the trauma, agony and severe feelings of insult that i had gone through and will give me justice considering my plea.

Updated by jilmil23 MOREOVER YOU DONT HAVE A GRIEVIENCE REDRESSAL OFFICER, AS PER RTI ACT.. AND YOU ARE VIOLATING THE NORMS OF GOVT AS WELL
no piece of the document is produced:
- each passenger full name
- date and place of purchace
- PNR or order number
- e-ticket IN FULL which shows the conditions
- the agent''s ful name / operator of the site, if any.
So, such anonymous complaint has no grounds and has no reasons.
You are advised to save
- each e-ticket
- each PNR with receipt;
You can submit the exact complaint at the site of the service provider.
The servcie provider can satisfy your claim, refuse to satisfy, within 15 days, if in India.
It is usless to request the same subject matter more than 2 times from the same air carrier (example, gimme 10000 ruppes for the unidentified cancellation).
The later solution (if no compensation received) is via local court only.
The expected expences for legal civil matter can be:
- government fees [ from 2500 ruppes total] + own efforts on the collection of ecah document,
- legal fees for assistance of a lawyer or of legal professional [ from ~10000 rupees] + own efforts
The fair court shall award all reasonable losses, moral compensation, paid fees by judgement.
