Below is the entire history of conversations that took place with make my trip post our booking confirmation received on 28th november 2017
30th nov 2017 - received cancellation from makemytrip of the booking due to volcano disruption at bali. Post contacting your booking agent (Neelam), we were informed that there would be 100% refund for the amount paid as the cancellation was done by makemytrip.
4th december 2017 - we sent an email about our conversation with neelam stating that we were informed that the entire amount would be refunded within 10 - 15 days.
29th december 2017 - post several follow-ups with your team for 20 odd days, we then received an email from priti gupta stating that waiver has been received for amount rs. 50424 and it would take 25 days or more for the pending amount to be refunded.
4th january 2017 - we chased your team asking for when would the refund amount reflect in the account.
30th january 2017 until 22nd february 2018 - we did several chasers asking for an update as it was now 3 month's post your confirmation that the amount would be refunded, we still did not receive the pending amount.
27th february 2018 - finally post our several chasers, your team (Priti) responded that she was following with the vendor and was waiting for their response.
12th march 2018 until march 2018 end - we again kept chasing your team asking for an update on the pending amount.
5th april 2018 - as we did not receive any response from your team, we raised a complaint (Ref id[protected]
4th may 2018 - post we writing to your team again, priti then responded stating that a refund of rs. 43865 has been processed on 26th april 2018 and your team is still pending for the refund of rs. 19000.
16th july 2018 - post several calls and we chasing your team, priti responded that allow 5 days for your team to get back on the pending amount.
25th july 2018 - again as we did not hear back from your team in 5 days, we sent an email on which priti responded asking us to wait till end of day for a response.
31st july 2018 - till now we became used to this unsatisfactory practice of your team of not even having the courtesy to inform us about our issue status, we again sent a follow up email on which priti stated that she has escalated it to the manager and your team has not received any response from the hotel about the pending amount refund of rs.19000.
23rd august 2018 - post asking for an update, we received an email from priti stating that the hotel has denied refund (Mmt ref no[protected]. We even replied to the email stating that we have booked it through make my trip and the booking was cancelled from your company giving us the assurance that the entire amount would be refunded. It's your company's responsibility to pay back our pending amount.
8th september 2017 - we contacted customer care again (Ref id[protected] for our status on the pending refund amount as we are not receiving responses on timely manner from your team.
Till date we are just following up with your team with no response at all about our balance amount.
This has been the worst experience with make my trip. It's really shameful that it's almost a year where we are chasing for our refund amount with your company. Your team doesn't even have the courtesy to give a call back or respond to our emails which is really disgusting.
Despite several chasers we have not received any response, hence would really appreciate if you could look into this personally and provide a confirmation about our pending amount of rs.19000.
We have absolety no support from the contacts given to us nishant rai and priti gupta from makemytrip. Its now a year!!!
