I had booked a ticket with makemytrip for journey dated 25th september from winnipeg to kolkata for rs.56863 on 24th september. As the booking was not confirmed for approx 8 hours after payment was given balance in my mmt wallet for rs599. On contacting their customer center i was advised by their representative mr. Sumit roy chaudhary not to travel to airport the next morning as the booking was partially confirmed. Mr. Chaudhary initiated a refund request and as per makemytrips promise the refund gets credited in 72 hours failing to which they compensate rs100 per additional hours. The timer is still running as of today it has been 401 hours approximately. Initially i was contacted by makemytrip on my mobile number +[protected] but after 72 hours they stopped doing it and i have contacted them many times and all i am assured is they are looking into the matter and would get back to me in 24 hours with refund request being completely processed. However till now nothing has happened and all i have is screenshot with timer running showing the resolution is delayed.
Please help me to get my hard earned money back from makemytrip. Rs56863 is not a small amount.

Complaint marked as Resolved I am writing this with utter shame and disgrace that it has been more than two months now that I am still longing for the amount due which has not been paid/refunded from your end neither has it been initiated..
I have been following up since ages...extremely shameful mmt that I am still being harassed for this amount.
Waiting for the refund to be processed I don't know how else or how long i need to explain my case to each and every support agent of your team and turned down each time, having being instructed to wait for even longer.
Even if I dont consider my 2months wait period, your promise to refund was of 144hrs and it has been 572hrs and I am still waiting like anything for the proceedings to happen

Well the email id used for booking was [protected]@gmail.com and Booking ID
NN[protected]. I would like to bring this to your notice that I was informed by your
associate Mr. Sumit Roychaudhary when my tickets were not confirmed even after 8 hours of
booking that the booking is partially confirmed from toronto to kolkata but my journey
from winnipeg to kolkata is still not confirmed and in no case it would get confirmed so I
should not travel to airport. After that the refund request was initiated from your end
during this call. I was contacted twice by your team within 24 hours on my Canadian number
+[protected] which I had provided to your associate Mr.Roychaudhary assuring that my
request for refund is being looked into. Anyways I hope you will be able to trace your
assoiciate Mr. Sumit Roychaudhary unlike what you informed about not being able to trace
my booking details. However after the two calls from your back end team I tried reaching
out to you guys multiple times over the phone and everytime I was assured that I will be
contacted in 24 hours with a solution which till date is still pending. Makemytrip please
have mercy on me I am an international student and Rs56863 the cost of booking which you
guys have been hold for 24 days now is my hard earned money. Please stop playing this back
and forth communication game to just try to cover up your part and delay the resolution.
For your reference I have attached herewith screenshot of my account that says your
resolution has been delayed and as of now it has already been 592 hours which is precisely 24 days.Just incase you need additional information from my end reachout to me at [protected]@gmail.com or on my canadian number +[protected] or alternate number +[protected] if the other one is not reachable. I hope this time you guys would do the necessary at your end and try to resolve this issue which involves Rs56863 that you have been holding back at your end for no good reason. Please try to understand I can't afford to loose this money. I would again reinstate the same thing I was advised by your associate Mr. Sumit Roychaudhary not to go to airport as I can't undertake this journey with a partial booking and I have done the same. I request you to please help me and process the refund without any further delay
