Make my trip accepted my booking request for airline ticket from mumbai to Delhi and return.

While the ticket was being booked, the ticket permitted a cabin luggage of 15kg + 7kg of hand luggage.

However, the ticket sent me to mentioned only hand baggage. While querying this with customer care, they agreed the mistake and asked me to claim a refund after paying at the airline. When i asked them to add that privilege directly, they are not agreeing to do it and are making claims that the ticket never mentioned cabin luggage. I have attached the screenprint when for reference.

    I've booked a hotel room in cosy home, gawahati, and also made the full payment to make my trip account via upi mode by google pay but i have not received the booking i'd and when i reached the hotel the hotel premises said that their is no booking by your name and then i tried to contact customer care of make my trip they don't have the option to talk without the booking i'd. Then i contacted on email i didn't got reply and then i chat on facebook page of make my trip they said they will refund it within 72hrs but i have no money in account to book hotel now... I have attached the email and facebook conversation...

      While booking flight tickets on 1st of november from nagpur to banglore from my bank of india atm card, two times my amount of rs. 2, 130 and rs. 2, 135 has been deducted but the processing was failed. I also lodge complaint on 2nd of november, its been one week but my amount had not been reversed.

      Kindly plz check it and resolve my problem as soon as possible

        I was checking the total amount of booking and when i went payment page accidentally i got click on my saved credit card and after that i received otp no. And i don't understand there is option cancel and submit i click on cancel but how it is possible the was done you check my booking there is not even any promo code i applied i am not stupid without any promo code i will book flight tickets and also passengers names are also wrong because i was just checking total amount of booking and this is cheating from mmt that you click on submit without my permission so therefore i am requesting you to kindly change passengers name or refund my full amount i am using your app since 10 years don't loose your old customer i hope you will take strict action

            I have booked a hotel through make my trip application for my boss at accord metropolitan, chennai on 23rd oct'18 (Booking date) for his one day stay between 24th oct to 25th oct and successfully completed the payment for the booking. Unfortunately, my boss has missed his flight to chennai on 24th oct 18 morning and hence we have requested make my trip for cancellation of the same. But mmt has charged us the entire booking amount as cancellation charges along with tax & service fee which is unacceptable as they are promoting zero cancellation charge for mmt hotel booking. Also, we have escalated the issue to mmt through their customer support but their response was not satisfactory.

            Hence we would like to escalate it in this consumer complaint forum to get partial / full refund of my booking amount.

              Dear Sir,

              I booked a flight ticket on 5/11/2018 for travelling from Mumbai to Kolkata( travel date 13/12/2018) through you. Booking id number is NF[protected].

              During the transaction my network got disconnected and I was not confirmed the ticket in the first go although by this time my payment through Citibank credit card was executed. Hence I had to try second time for a transaction of Rs 6440. In the second try the ticket got confirmed . I got a confirmed ticket also from you .

              I hence request you that one of the transaction being duplicate, please take necessary action on this so that I am not charged twice.

              You are also requested to send an invoice for my entire round trip which is as below :

                I am sheetal pawar. On 06/11/2018, i made a booking for 'hotel millenium park', panchgani, maharashtra. I paid rs.3308 through upi.
                (Rs.3308.00 has been debited from account *6376 to vpa [protected]@hdfcbank on 06-11-18. Your upi transaction reference number is[protected] also sent the screenshot.

                The money is deducted from my account, but no booking generated. I got not no confirmation of the booking. I mailed on share. [protected]@makemytrip.com to get the refund of my money paid.
                But they responded 'please raise complaint through 'manage booking' on their site.' i cant do that as booking is not generated.
                I tried to call on customer care no. But without generated booking it is useless.
                Now only option remains is consumer forum.

                  Dear sir,

                  I (Naziya banu) had book the flight ticket on make my trip on 23rd september, booking reference - nn[protected]. When i ask to customer care to cancel the booking, they informed me that refund amount will be 6110 inr, they also send me confirmation mail (Attached) that refund amount will be 6110. (So i told them to proceed with the cancellation). But i receive only 3874 inr as a refund value (Attached).

                  Make my trip had cheated by providing wrong information & insufficient amount.

                  Please help...

While booking i enter my gst details as well while checking also in formed to customer executive that i need gst invoice. They assure me hotel will provide but while checkout hotel not provide any invoice.                         Hello we had a flight from delhi to leh on the 4th of november at 7am with vistara company. We were there on time and and the boarding happened. But then after 40 min flight the plane decided not to land in leh and went back to delhi. We had to book an other ticket the next day to go to leh. We want therefore a refund for this cancellation. The number we received was 08jg95 in order to do so.

                          Dear mmt, i booked my international tickets yesterday from [protected]@gmail.com. The tickets weren't booked, 35000 rupees got deducted which spoilt the budget of my travel.

                          I booked my urgent travel again from account [protected]@gmail.com but money is not yet refunded. I have to travel within 4 days and mmt is wasting my time as the refund process is not processed yet from mmt.

                          Now i don't have much money to spend there and your customer support agent named rita just said we will process refund in 48 hrs and then bank will take time. No fastrack requirement, no understanding concerns, nothing!!

                            I am holding a savings bank account with icici branch at m. V. P. Colony, visakhapatnam.

                            On 4th october, 2018, there were 2 fraudulent transactions of rs 20, 000 and rs 25, 000 amounting to a sum of rs 45, 000 by somebody from my account through debt card transactions. I was at home and debt card was in my possession and no notifications of otp were sent to my phone during these transactions. I did not authorize these transactions. As soon as i received the sms alerts, i approached the above branch and informed the authorities and blocked my card. As advised, i visited nearest cyber crime police station and lodged a complaint (Fir) to investigate the matter.

                            It was identified from bank statement that the fraudster did two transactions fraudulently through organization 'make my trip'.

                            Make my trip had refunded only rs 20000 out of total amount rs 45000 and remaining silent without replying to mails sent by ap police as well as me.

                                I had booked the ticket from makemy trip since there was a discount on the booking through rbl cards (1020/-) which was also confirmed at the time of booking - but when i checked my invoice - the discount was reversed for 958 and only 62rs discount was given.
                                Why are you all cheating customers through fake discounts
                                I tried contacting the customer care for 2 days - but everytime i call up even after holding the phone for 15 minutes ivr mentions facing high call volumes continue to hold. What kind of customer service is this - there is no use of the auto ivr numbers - it does nothelp & other numbers have high call volumes.

                                  Two spicejet flight tickets and hotel lotus-bay - view in puducherry was booked through makemytrip for 7 days. Flight got deplanned and spicejet declined any further flights availability. They told us they will refund for flights. Have been speaking to makemytrip help centre about the refund for my hotel and hasn’t yet been processed.
                                  They are telling hotel is denying due to non - refundable booking. But here the fault is not mine and due to weather issues in pondicherry, flights itself have been stopped. Makemytrip should take the responsibility of such hotels who don’t respond in the needed manner during an unpredictable incident like this.

                                    Below is the entire history of conversations that took place with make my trip post our booking confirmation received on 28th november 2017

                                    30th nov 2017 - received cancellation from makemytrip of the booking due to volcano disruption at bali. Post contacting your booking agent (Neelam), we were informed that there would be 100% refund for the amount paid as the cancellation was done by makemytrip.

                                    4th december 2017 - we sent an email about our conversation with neelam stating that we were informed that the entire amount would be refunded within 10 - 15 days.

                                    29th december 2017 - post several follow-ups with your team for 20 odd days, we then received an email from priti gupta stating that waiver has been received for amount rs. 50424 and it would take 25 days or more for the pending amount to be refunded.

                                    4th january 2017 - we chased your team asking for when would the refund amount reflect in the account.

                                    30th january 2017 until 22nd february 2018 - we did several chasers asking for an update as it was now 3 month's post your confirmation that the amount would be refunded, we still did not receive the pending amount.

                                    27th february 2018 - finally post our several chasers, your team (Priti) responded that she was following with the vendor and was waiting for their response.

                                    12th march 2018 until march 2018 end - we again kept chasing your team asking for an update on the pending amount.

                                    5th april 2018 - as we did not receive any response from your team, we raised a complaint (Ref id[protected]

                                    4th may 2018 - post we writing to your team again, priti then responded stating that a refund of rs. 43865 has been processed on 26th april 2018 and your team is still pending for the refund of rs. 19000.

                                    16th july 2018 - post several calls and we chasing your team, priti responded that allow 5 days for your team to get back on the pending amount.

                                    25th july 2018 - again as we did not hear back from your team in 5 days, we sent an email on which priti responded asking us to wait till end of day for a response.

                                    31st july 2018 - till now we became used to this unsatisfactory practice of your team of not even having the courtesy to inform us about our issue status, we again sent a follow up email on which priti stated that she has escalated it to the manager and your team has not received any response from the hotel about the pending amount refund of rs.19000.

                                    23rd august 2018 - post asking for an update, we received an email from priti stating that the hotel has denied refund (Mmt ref no[protected]. We even replied to the email stating that we have booked it through make my trip and the booking was cancelled from your company giving us the assurance that the entire amount would be refunded. It's your company's responsibility to pay back our pending amount.

                                    8th september 2017 - we contacted customer care again (Ref id[protected] for our status on the pending refund amount as we are not receiving responses on timely manner from your team.

                                    Till date we are just following up with your team with no response at all about our balance amount.

                                    This has been the worst experience with make my trip. It's really shameful that it's almost a year where we are chasing for our refund amount with your company. Your team doesn't even have the courtesy to give a call back or respond to our emails which is really disgusting.

                                    Despite several chasers we have not received any response, hence would really appreciate if you could look into this personally and provide a confirmation about our pending amount of rs.19000.

                                    We have absolety no support from the contacts given to us nishant rai and priti gupta from makemytrip. Its now a year!!!

                                      I booked a flight ticket on 28th sept at 10:16 pm on makemytrip but once i paid the amount, it showed booking is cancelled. I talked to the support team and they said yes the refund amount will be paid in few working days. I waited for 15 days but i didn't receive the amount. I escalated the issue and from last 20 days everyday they are saying their accounts team is working on the issue or their payment partner is working on the issue but i have not got the refund. It's been more than a month now following up their support team everyday. It's so frustrating and disappointing to have such experience from makemytrip.
                                      Everyday they says they are waiting for their accounts team to get a reply. I want to know does this take 20 days for their accounts team to confirm.
                                      They asked me to share bank statement as well in pdf from the day i booked till today. I sent that as well. There is no refund from their side.

                                      After all my failed attempt i am writing now so that the team take quick action and refund the amount. It's a clear harassment.

                                      When i have not received the amount, why did you mark the complaint resolved?
                                      The team told that i will be getting the refund in 3 days but the same message they have been telling me from more than a month so unless i get the refund don't mark this complaint resolved.

                                      The team said i will get in 3 days but its again 7 days now and there is no refund i got. Why are you guys harassing your customer like this? It's been more than 45 days now since the issue and apart from false promises i have not got anything. More than 20 times i have made a follow up and still following. More than 5 times i visited the bank and got nothing. For how long will this continue?
