I had booked Kerala holiday for the month of Jan 2016 and had also made the full payment in November 2015.
Later on I had asked for date change of the holiday for Feb 2016 & I was also assured that it will changed. This confirmation was received in Nov 2015 but since this day, there has been no dat change confirmation received. I had called MAkeMyTrip numerous times. Once even with the supervisor. They assured me everytime that they will respond quickly but till date nothing has been done with my booking.

    Dear Sir /Madam,

    My Name is Sandeep Dasari
    My Makemytrip booking ID is NN[protected] & PNR no is - TSAWHL

    On 18.01.2016 I was suppose to fly From Mumbai to Munich via Istanbul. But my flight from Istanbul to Munich is cancelled by airlines. Provided Turkish Airlines has offered me an alternative flight at 16:00 which wasn`t convenient for me.

    But after that neither Airline has provided an alternative arrangement nor makemytrip has given refund of the ticket which I did not travelled. Every time I call up makemytrip they say contact Turkish Airlines and Airlines said contact your agent.

    I tried to contact customer representative of makemytrip from last 40 days and had talked with many executives and I have written email conversation from customer service. After every 10 days I get email reply and they say we are apologize for this incidence & wait for 48 hours.

    But no solution till date just wait and wait and wait...

      I booked Volvo Ac bus ticket from make my trip to Dharamshala to Delhi, but when i and my clients received bus ticket it is 2*2 non ac bus ticket, so i shocked how it can possible, as on portal / screen is showing Volvo ac semi sleeper bus, so i makes lot of calls and send mail also but they are saying you booked non ac bus tickets and i requests also please check it out and send me volvo ac semi sleeper bus tickets, i send them screen shot of details showing on the screen/portal, but they are not responding, as per screen shot i booked Volvo ac bus tickets,

      Your sorry will not cover my loss (money, services to customers), you are big company but your services are average to clients, Please tell me you are responsible or not, because you are selling deluxe bus tickets by showing Volvo ac bus service on screen, so it is 420 . i want to know you responsible or not. this fact is a big issues so don't take it lightly, definitely i am thinking for justice from consumer complaints or any other sources, so that your company and illiterate & greedy bus operator will get lesson for cheating people.

      As per my compliant, the refund you are offering Rs. 197 /- is just a joke, because loss i got from your end is not filled with money, please go through once again on this matter, if you are offering for refund i want full money back.

        I always book my travel from makemytrip. There has never been any issue booking from makemytrip. For my trip to bali, this year also i booked my flight and hotels from makemytrip.

        However, this time i booked a hotel for 3 nights and later decided to cancel the booking (Only to book a better deal that too through makemytrip). The booking amount was usd 194 and makemytrip charged me inr 13, 089 with the on-going exchange rate. No problem with this. When i later cancelled my booking - which was applicable for 100% refund - i did get a refund. That too on time. No problem at all. However, the only funny thing was that the refund was of inr 194 and not usd 194 (Inr 13, 089). Could have been a system error - as most of the things are automated now days.

        Well i called up makemytrip with my issue - i expressed my concern and got a response that the system is down. Next time (Shortly after coming back from my holiday), i decided to put a formal complaint through mail - so as to have a record of the complaints. So, to start of with i just asked for my refund status. I got a response that the refund has been made and i was also given the details of the refund of inr 194. I then escalated the complaint that this refund should have been of inr 13, 089 (Usd 194) and not inr 194. I was then asked to wait for 72 hours so that they can check and process the complaint. Well, there has been no response since then. It has been over a week now - more than 168 hours.

        No response - no refund.

        My questions to makemytrip is - do you want your customers to be following up with you everyday on complaints? When you ask a customer to wait for 72 hours is that at least 72 hours with no upper limit? Will i be given a refund only when you have earned a considerable amount of interest?

          I have made a prior booking to Delhi, Manali and Shimla with make my trip from Feb 21st to 28th, 2016 with Booking ID: IN1601B8S119486 and also arranged a to and fro flight accordingly . From Make my trip Rahul Bajaj has been given as the POC and he assisted us with the plan till Feb 20th with the cab driver details. As per the plan my wife and I reached Delhi airport at 11:00 A.M on Feb 21st, we received a call from cab driver stating that the roads were blocked due to heavy snowfall and asked us to check with Make my trip. I have called Make my trip department and got to know that Rahul Bajaj is on weekly off so I have asked the agent to transfer the call to higher management. The agent connected us to supervisor Rushub, and I explained him about my situation and asked for an alternate trip or solution . He requested time to check on this and made us to wait for 1 hr in the airport initially, after 1 hr as we haven’t received any update / call we have called make my trip again, Rushub still requested for some more time and made us to wait nearly 8 hrs in the airport ( with in this period we have made multiple calls to Rushub and make my trip and got to know Rushub has gone for a break / left for the day / Away from his desk and also he tried to ignore our calls ). Between this period we received a call from Himanshu Panchal asking us to confirm on cancellation. We are just startled with the question he posed us, as i have been waiting in unknown place with my wife for a very long time.
          We have communicated clearly to Himanshu to organise the trip and for any alternative . Rushub and Himanshu dint provide us any alternative . As he concluded that Make my trip cannot organise this trip and also as they dint provide us any alternative we requested for full refund for which he again denied stating hotel in Manali and the Cab agent are not ready for full refund and processed only 27k out of 47k which I have paid totally. We are very unhappy with the solution and the amount refunded as we haven’t even boarded the cab. Himanshu explained about the cancellation policies and tried to apply those policies on customer end . Here in the situation, how customer will be responsible and penalised as we haven’t cancelled the trip as he clearly told that company cannot organise this trip and also no alternative is provided to us, We understand that policies will be applicable only when customer cancels the trip and not if the provider / company cancels it .Since we denied for the amount refunded, Himanshu escalated to superiors and requested for 72 hours time. We waited for 72 hours and we haven’t received any call.
          On 22nd Feb, we got to know that roads were unblocked so we have contacted Rahul bajaj and informed him about our situation as we are in middle of no where . He seek some time to check for alternative but he did not call us back or either picked up our call as the same scenario we faced with rushub on previous day, later we have contacted rushub and spoke with him for 1 hr, he made us to trust him and the company and requested for 2hrs of time to check on this. After 2hrs, we have called him and he denied to pick the call and we contacted make my trip department, however we came to know that he left for the day by an agent, so the call was transferred to Sandeep, who clearly said that he is the next superior to Rushub and asked us to explain about the situation. We have multiple calls and explained every agent on the situation and lost our patience to explain the scenario again in detail . However we have given a gist and he told that this issue doesn’t belong to their department and he dint help us and disconnected.
          Since, Himanshu filed a complaint on our concern, we are tracking this on make my trip.com for almost a week and finally escalated the same on 27th Feb. in this time period, everytime we called the desk, every agent who answered the call raised their hands and disconnected the call after explaining the situation.
          Till 5th March i have escalated my problem to different levels in make my trip.com but till now no one responded and my money also not refunded.

            I, Mrs.M.H.Lalla, had applied for a work from home through Naukri.com for the role of a holiday expert in MAKE MY TRIP.As per the norm i got a registration form asking for my basic details including date of birth, age, etc.I was sent a mail by their company H.R.dept, Ms.Pallavi Asthana, reconfirming my willingness to work, later a Ms.Muskaan called up to inform me about the interview details etc.
            The interview was slotted for 04/03/2016 [protected]@1pm.
            As soon as i was called in to the room for the interview, the lady who was taking the interview asked for the date of birth and on hearing it says I am over aged and that they have a company policy of a cut off age of 45 years.When i asked why i was not informed when i was invited for the interview, Without blinking an eyelid, very rudely this lady on the panel, Ms.Leena Khurana, says.SHES SURPRISED AND THAT I MAY STEP OUT !!!
            I have mails inviting me to the interview!But nowhere and no one bothered to tell me that my age was a constraint!!!
            When they called me and when i registered, i was made to fill out a registration form with my personal details.DIDNT THEY REALISE IT THEN??
            WHY WAS I CALLED WHEN THEY HAD MY PERSONAL DETAILS INFORMING THEM ABOUT MY AGE??I SPENT 500 RS TO BE THERE ON TIME.IMAGINE THE PERSONAL INSULT WHEN THAT LADY ON THE PANEL ASKED ME TO STEP OUT OF THE ROOM IN FRONT OF OTHER LADIES!!
            IS MY TIME FREE??/ DOES MAKE MY TRIP TAKE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF REIMBURSING MY TRAVEL EXPENSES??
            ALSO CAN THE COMPANY PLEASE ELABORATE WHY A PHYSICALLY FIT 45 YEAR OLD NOT WORK FROM HOME, WHEN THE OFFICIAL RETIREMENT AGE IS 58 YEARS IN ANY COMPANY???
            WE AT 45 ARE MORE PRODUCTIVE AS WE HAVE COMPLETED OUR FAMILY RESPONSIBILITIES AND HAVE A LOT OF QUALITATIVE TIME ON OUR HANDS., WHEREAS YOUNG MOTHERS HAVE SMALLER KIDS PROBABLY WHO MAY FIND IT DIFFICULT TO DEVOTE SO MUCH TIME.!!
            MAKE MY TRIP HAS WRONGLY TREATED ME AND HURT MY SENTIMENTS TOO.IT MAY BE THEIR COMPANY POLICY, , BUT WHERE HAVE YOU MENTIONED IT?? WHY DID THEIR QUALIFIED EDUCATED YET ILLITERATE EMPLOYEES CALL ME FOR THE INTERVIEW WHEN THEY HAD ALL MY REQUISITE DETAILS!!
            I NEED AN APOLOGY, AN EXPLANATION AS WELL AS A REIMBURSEMENT OF MY CONVEYANCE CHARGES THAT I SPENT FOR THEIR INTERVIEW, FOR WHICH THEY MAKE MY TRIP INVITED ME!!!
            I SHALL TAKE UP THIS SAME ISSUE IN THE SOCIAL MEDIA TOO.TILL I DO NOT GET MY FAVORABLE RESPONSE!!!

              MakeMyTrip Booking ID : IN1507B3S068468

              I cancelled 2 of my MMT tickets on Date : 09/11/2015 the refund amount of which is still not been transferred to my account till Date 05/03/2016.

              Since the day i cancelled my ticket i made more than 20 followup calls where they kept me on hold for more than 60 mins each time i called. I spoke to more than 15 MMT executives and surprisingly none turned helpful to me towards my refund.

              the only monotonous reply i received from MMT was -

              " At the outset, we sincerely apologize for the unpleasant instance.
              Thank you for contacting MakeMyTrip Customer Support. We’ve received your query regarding refund for IN1507B3S068468.
              We would like to inform you that we are working on your query regarding the refund. We request you to wait for 72 hours to resolve your query."

              I'am sharing my mail account page with this tweet to understand better WHY TO AVOID MakeMyTrip while booking a flight/hotel/tour package.

                I have book the flight through makemytrip on 21/02/16 twice but its fail in booking my ticket and the amount was debit from my account twice (Rs 4781 /-).But on 22/02/2016 one amount has been receive but the another is pending.I have send them mail an calling in there customer care no([protected]) but they are not giving me response.Please help my issue

                  I had booked in Makemytrip for my family members trip for hongkong & Macau . They had given no of local per person - Macau . We r having no tour on Macau . I had paid for my son' s package amt :- 37500 . But last moment one employee of Makemytrip company mr Harpreet sing had told no package had done, you will get Refund . Still today 9, 000 rs is still pending it was now 7 months .ask them to arrange payment .

                    Made package (Flight + Hotel, inclusive pick up and breakfast) bookings through Make My Trip, unfortunately discovered Make My Trip has ahabbit of not paying the hotels booked& paid through their . Guest traveling to destination is treated rudely and not allowed to stay for the above reason. After time and again persuing with agent some how managed to stay, but it is a mental harrasment by both the hotel and Make My Trip.

                    When I was booking a hotel through make my trip they gave me one deal code which is hotel70 for HDFC bank card customers. I booked a hotel and they high lighted around 21 thousand cash back in total of 48, 000/-. but I was charged 48000/- but the cash back not yet received. they least bothered about the customer complaints. they never reply its really very very bad service. I am requesting all travellers kindly book directly in hotel website. don't book through makemytrip.

                      Dear all lazy Travellers I want to share my experience with makemytrip.com

                      I booked my ticket on 2nd of may 2016 around 2:00pm for a flight from muscat to abu dhabi . the flight was for the same day evening 6:30 PM. I got confirmation email from booking.com and they give me confirmation number NN[protected].

                      Although I didn't receive the email which they said that you will get in 4 hours or before. Now being in muscat and calling to India on a customer care service is very expensive. Somewhat I trusted makemytrip.com as it's a big company and here in business since many years.

                      At airport I got surprise that no ticket booked . I got panic . how they can do this to me and don't bother to inform me .

                      I quickly search the customer care and call them . burnt about 1000 RS on call and asked them to call me back with the status
                      I would really appreciate them tha they called me back to tell that me that ticket is not booked due to some technical glitch .
                      Now I have following questions.
                      1.Why they sent me confirmation email if they was not sure.

                      2. Why they do not inform me even if they find that confirmation from airline is not happened and booking becomes null and I don't have any booking now.

                      3.what about my travel now ( I tried to buy the ticket for the same flight but it was closed. Luckily it's busy route so I bought another airline ticket for flight after 2 hours only)

                      4 what about price escalation(again lucky it was not much)
                      5 . what if taking of this flight would be emergency for me.

                      And now last what about my refund .

                      The ans to all above questions are ( now I can sense makemytrip ideology. It's was second chance with me., don't ask why I go for them again it was one year before and I forget it's was makemytrip only who made me fool)

                      My guess for all above my questions the ans from would be very polite and they will pretend that they are sorry ( only sorry, no compensation)

                      But they are intentions are

                      "Maa chuda bhosdike Tere jaise 1.4 billion hai India me 10% bhi ticket book karate hai online 1% bhi aate hai humare paas aur 10 % case bhi hum bigade to bhi humare paas 1 croer 26 lakh log to ek baar phir aayenge " or phir 10% ki Maya chod do to bhi . hisaab laga lo
                      Hum to arabpati ban jayenge. Phir dukan band bhi HO gayi to kaya

                      It's in Hindi but this is actual meaning of makemytrip

                      I am posting this to as many website as possible

                        Hii, i had done hotel booking through makemy trip, i had done booking in hotel in banglore against ref no :NH[protected], 24 TECH HOTEL, and i got confirmation mail too from make my trip but when reached hotel they said no booking has been done and they had already informed makemytrip guys that rooms not available, at night 8.30 pm, they are informing room booking not done and no rooms avaialble, at night time these guys are expecting girls to roam here and there in search of rooms ... on sending message in their facebook id, no reply got, DONOT TRUST THESE UNPROFESSIONAL GUYS

                          I booked a ticket from Bangalore to Delhi by Indigo which depart on 12 noon. But this flight is reschedule so I cancel this ticket. Indigo also confirmed that 100 % refund will be allowed in this case and they confirm that full amount is given to makemytrip.

                          I used promo code and get Rs 1200/- credit in my account.

                          But I got refund after deducting 1200/- which shell be used for my next booking.

                          If Indigo is refunding 100 % to you, why you are making any deduction.

                            My Flight booking ID:IN1601B8S119393 for a ticket New York-Cochin-New York on Feb 9 2016 was cancelled because Makemytrip did not pay for the ticket in time. I had paid the ticket money fully on Jan 13, 2016. Initially I got PNR and saw the seats assigned. But on the day of my travel, when I tried to check in online, TO MY GREAT SURPRISE, I realized that my PNR exist any more. Makemytrip did not pay the airlines in time. So airlines cancelled the ticket. AS I did not have a ticket to travel to Dubai, I wanted to cancel my hotel Booking ID:NH[protected] and reimburse my payment.
                            Makemytrip is denying to reimburse my hotel booking.

                              This is plain ridiculous! The representative hung up the phone on me, and closed this ticket without it getting resolved. You guys suck!!

                              Please escalate this matter urgently, and have someone senior (and responsible person) contact us for booking ID : NH[protected].

                              We just came back from Venetian, Macau hotel where the hotel did not receive any booking confirmation from MakeMyTrip, and we had to make another booking at Venetian then and there again. I've paid twice for that 1 room, and none from MakeMyTrip is making any effort to resolve this issue.

                              This is worst level of service one can ever receive. Pathetic!!!

                              Resolve this ASAP (if you understand this). Communicate with me, and give me the hotel confirmation number Venetian gave you.
                              Numer of times Customer has tried:8.
                              Everytime you call they just hung up as these people have no assertive response.

                                I installed makemytrip app and received RS.1500. Then I referred 2 friends and I received RS. 2000 I.e. total RS. 3500.                                   On February 23, I used the MakeMyTrip app on my phone to make a hotel booking for a night in Niagara Falls. After entering my payment details, the screen did not load after the final step so I checked "My Trips" in the app and nothing showed up. So I closed the whole app and tried to make a booking again. This time, the booking went through and it showed up in "My Trips". However, when I checked my email address there was 2 confirmation emails, so I quickly called MakeMyTrip. The agent on the phone opened up my Booking ID and I explained my situation to him, however he kept referring to the cancellation policy and that I would not get any money back. I sent an email to MakeMyTrip and I have not even received an email back since then. I tried calling again the following day and the lady on the phone refused to listen to me and when I tried telling her I two duplicate booking ID's, she kept saying "we're talking about this booking ID only so tell me what you want for this booking ID". She literally repeated that 3x without even listening and trying to understand my situation, and was very rude. I tried emailing them again and even filed a "complaint" but still no response from them.

                                  Summary: The MakeMyTrip app had a glitch and caused me to double book for an exact same hotel room. I attempted on multiple occasions to contact the staff at MakeMyTrip but they refused to provide me with a refund.

                                    This is regarding the most unethical and unprofessional way of how MMT had dealt with a case due to a technical fault at

                                    their side.

                                    We have made a round trip booking (BLR to CBE and CBE to BLR) via MMT web portal. Due to a technical system failure at MMT

                                    side, the return journey transaction was failed, however the entire amount was deducted from my account (13, 732 Rs).We got

                                    confirmation only for the onward journey. Upon calling MMT customer service, we were advised to perform a new booking for

                                    return journey and the amount will be refunded for the same. We did a separate booking for the return journey and MMT had

                                    refunded the partial amount (Rs 5509) to my account. MMT also confirmed that the onward booking is intact and there

                                    shouldnt be any issues with it.

                                    We didnt think in our wildest dreams that we will face a nightmare with our onward journey as well. Upon arriving at the

                                    airport, we were informed by the airline authorities (JetConnect) that the onward booking details were not reflecting in

                                    their database. We were left stranded and MMT representative told us to purchase the ticket across the counter and the

                                    fare difference will be refunded by MMT. We had to purchase the ticket at an exorbitant price the airport to proceed with the journey. The MMT representative also mentioned that the amount paid across the counter will be refunded as it was a fault at MMT side. As per his advice, we have sent the e-ticket, Iterinary and the receipt of payment to [protected]@makemytrip.com and vishal.[protected]@makemytrip.com but in vain. Till date, there is no progress on the refund process. We have got email communications from makemytrip representatives that the amount will be refunded and we will be using this as a legal document to file a case against these notorious thugs.

                                    The amount to be refunded is inclusive of the onward journey booking made online and the fare difference paid across the counter.

                                    PLEASE NOTE THAT WE WILL PROCEED LEGALLY IF THE MATTER IS NOT SETTLED IN 48 HOURS.
