I am sharing the transactions which I have recently done with MMT.

My husband is an international traveller and uses MMT extensively for air ticket and hotel booking. Recently, while he was in Brussels on 15th of March, he tried booking Air ticket using his MMT from Brussles to Oslo around 11:00 PM Central European Time. Somehow, ticket booking failed, even though he had keyed in credit card and ther details, showing the message that 'Ticket Booking has failed as MMT server is busy and could not complete the booking'.

However, right after this failure, he received a phone call from noida number MMT office on his UK Number +[protected]+++ asking about the difficulty he had been facing while booking the ticket. He told MMT executive about the sequence of event, on which executive mailed him following link on his personal ID for making the payment. Holding the call while executive remained online he tried making payment again using the given link but apparently it didn't work. This time, he had tried using netbanking thinking problem could be due his credit card. Somehow executive also couldn't understand and call ended without any help.

Thereafter he attempted one more time using netbanking but resulted into failure. Meanwhile he also noticed the surge in fare and he decided to try again in morning. Next morning around 6:30 CET he tried booking ticket once again which again resulted into failure showing the same message.

Having tried so many times he finally decided to using another site eDreams where he had to book the business class ticket for the same flight which he had been attempting to book in economy on MMT.

When he arrived on airport and reached on check in counter he was told that he had 4 tickets under his names. Three of them were in economy while the other one was of Business. It left left him puzzled and shocked because in his knowledge and belief he had only booked one business class ticket successfully on eDreams. He instantly called up MMT call Center and informed them about the problem. First executive said his tickets are showing NO SHOW but when He told them that He is at airport right at the counter of SAS Airlines and has more than 2 hours before flight departs he couldn't understand what to do. He requested him to cancel those three tickets as they had been wrongly booked by MMT while He was not informed about the successful booking. He even made him talk to SAS airlines executive and requested him to cancel the tickets urgently. However, executive told my husband that tickets are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled. My husband insisted on talking to the senior manager but he was not put through with anyone senior. Later my husband had to catch the flight so I took up the matter with MMT executive.

Based on above situation I would like to remind you that we have been using MMT extensively for hotel and ticket booking. However, following incident has shaken my trust in MMT and after this incident I have stopped booking tickets and hotel on MMT. I am writing you with the hope of getting the refund of 3 tickets which were booked by MMT successfully but were left with misleading or failure messages for customer which led us into various attempts of booking.

I see two fundamental points where MMT has failed. First, MMT cannot be trusted anymore and second you have mechanism in place to make customer book the ticket but there is no general sense in your customer executives to make right decision to support customers. It is very obvious none would book the same ticket multiple times had he been served with the right status of booking. Further, my husband could have been informed on his UK number that the ticket was booked successfully. He was not in India and had no access to texts on his INdian number where MMT may have sent some messages.

Meanwhile, he also raised this issue with SAS and he has been advised to raise a complaint on http://www.flysas.com/feedback

I am hoping MMT would look into this issue and refund the money which is about 70+ thousand INR for these three tickets. But until then I assure you We would not use MMT.
Meanwhile, I have been following up with MMT for almost a month now but no resolution. Each time I get to hear diferernt stories from MMTexecutives.

    I bought a trip to bali on 15 March and made a initial payment of 15733rs .my transaction Id is nl[protected] but my booking got cancelled on the basis of non availability of seats.From dat day I am asking for my refund and calling you again and again but whoever picks the call says that we will contact you shortly but I guess you don't understand the word called, "shortly".your customers care services are so bad and poor .I guess you have become so expert of handling consumer cases dats why you compel your customers to file a complaint against you for harassemnt.I don't know you understand the meaning of services even so don't harass me anymore and refund my money or will meet you in consumer court only .my complaint Id is[protected].

      I booked bus ticket on 26.03.2016 from Hyderabad to Bangalore. The money is been debited from my account however the ticket has not been processed. I received a message saying I will be getting call from customer executive in 30min. Its been more than 3 hours, I have not received any call yet.
      I personally called them after waiting for so long, the customer executive was very rude, and his answer was not appropriate for my question. The resolution given was not at all convincing and apt for my question. This is not the first time I am facing this problem with your portal, this is the third time my account has been debited and I receive refund after 10 to 15 days. Very very disappointed and unhappy with Makemytrip and Customer service.

      In reference to your complaint, we have validated your case with our concerned team and found that on 26-Mar-16 a bus booking transaction has got failed and an amount of Inr 1579/- was charged from customer’s E-wallet (Mobikwik) account. Please be advised the we have checked with our payment gateway and they have confirmed that full refund of Inr 1579/- has been processed from their end on 27-Mar-16. The same should now be reflecting in your account. If in case this is still not reflecting, request you to please share your bank statement since 26-Mar to till date so that get this validate with your bank

        On 23rd march 2016, i booked hotel in lonavla from the makemytrip website. This was for two rooms with check in date on 24th march and check out on 26th. I paid online on makemytrip website by using credit card.

        On 24th evening at 7:54 pm, when i reached lonavla, i tried to find the address and hotel as given on booking reference. Unfortunately i was neither able to find on online nor on google map. Then, i called the hotel manager (Darshan) and asked the direction for hotel. He enquired me detail of my booking and told me that makemytrip has cancelled my booking. So, they are all sold out, can not provide me hotel. I told him that i have not cancelled the hotel, and full amount was already paid. He said, he will call makemytrip and call me back agian. After 15 minutes, he called me back and told me that there was some communication gap between makemytrip and the hotel. So the rooms i booked have been already given to someone else. As it was miscommunication, he said he will arrange alternative and gave landmark and asked me to reach there.
        After 10 minutes drive, i reached at the landmark given and called him again. After calling 5-6 times, he sent me sms (Sms content " [protected] deepak my caretaker"). I called that person (Deepak) and he said that he will reach at my location in 2 minutes and asked me to wait there. After 10-12 minutes, he came to me and asked me to follow him. I insisted him to tell us where was he taking. He said that darshan asked him to take us to his place (Two bhk bunglaw), "you have to stay tonight there, no one was living at that house for some time, so need to clean it, it will take 1-2 hours for cleaning.) i also asked him about facility of that house, but that was absolutely different than the described on makemytrip.

        I called makemytrip and explained the situation, after 15 minutes call, makemytrip person mentioned that darshan (Hotel manager) will arrange my stay in same hotel where it was booked. Then, when i called again darshan, he said that he is out of room in booked hotel, so he will arrange my stay in another place where it is better than earlier arrangement. I waited for some time. During these conversation, deepak has already left.

        Again i talked to makemytrip, they ensured that rooms will be arranged as per booking, no need to worry, they asked me to wait for makemytrip's concerned department's call. After waiting quite long time, chirag from makemytrip called me and asked me for situation, after i explained him, he hanged up phone saying he will call me back after resolving the issue. He called me back after 10 minutes and told me that he is still trying to resolve issue, need to wait for some more time.

        After some time darshan called and told me that he has arranged rooms at farm house, he will arrange person at my place to guide the way. After waiting 10 -12 minutes, again deepak came on bike with his friend and asked me to follow him. I asked him where is he taking and how is the condition of rooms. He said he does not know the condition of place, but it will take 5 minutes drive from there. I agreed to him and followed his bike. (I was driving my car with family).

        Chirag from makemytrip again called me and asked me to confirm whether i have checked in to hotel or not. I said no, and explained the situation. He got surprised and told me that, the hotel manager darshan has informed him that i have checked in to hotel just before. He said he will check again and hanged. After following bike around 15 minutes through a dark road, i started worrying, i can not see lights even far far away.

        Meanwhile, chirag from makemytrip called me again and asked my situation, after i explained him the condition, he got surprised and asked me to stop and ask deepak where is he taking. I stopped my car and gave signal to the bike for stopping. From far away, he gave me hand and light signal to follow him further, and left. I stopped and decided to wait there for some time so that i will get to know detail. But unfortunately he did not come back. It was already more than 10pm at night. After struggling for more than 2 hours to resolve the issue, i really pissed off.

        Instead of waiting at middle of jungle, i took decision to take u-turn and get back to lonavla market. I explained the situation to chirag from makemytrip while going back to lonavla market. He also felt helpless after seeing whole activity and told me that he will help me on all the possible extent and hanged the phone. After that i neither got call from hotel nor from makemytrip. I searched some other hotels in lonavla and finally able checked in in kumar resort at 11:45pm.
        The very next day (25th march), i called makemytrip, he took me on conference-call with hotel manager darshan. He agreed on phone that there was communication gap due to which i was not able to check-in last night. But he insisted that he has spent huge energy on arranging hotel at night in farm house, he can only refund money of one night (Booking was for two nights). I insisted to makemytrip and hotel manager for full refund and also compensate for my time and situation. Hotel manager darshan said he can only agree for one night refund and said he has to take care of other customers so can not discuss it any more and hanged the phone. Makemytrip guy said, i have to sort it out with hotel, he can not help me. Afte i insisted further, he said he will escalate matter to his manager and his manager will call me in four hours. I did not receive any call after-ward.

        I also wrote email to makemytrip later mentioning the detail of activities that happened last evening (Complaint reference id :[protected]. Later makemytrip replied that makemytrip can not do anything, and not able to refund my booking amount.

          I booked 4 tickets (2 adults + 2 kids) on 23rd March thru MMT departure Qatar Airways QR 557 & QR 701 on[protected] Mumbai to New York and return[protected] QR 778 & QR 556 Miami to Mumbai. I paid full amount Rs.2, 53, 358.00 via my Credit Card. I received booking ID #NN[protected] with in minutes. The email confirmed the booking and also mentioned I will receive the airline PNR with in 4 hours. Since I did not receive the PNR the next day I called MMT and they said their systems were not working and I should try again after 4 to 6 hours. I called them the next day first they said my booking did not appear in their system and later on with my cc they traced the booking. They provided me with a new booking ID NN[protected] and asked me to call in the even for my airlines PNR.

          To my shock in the evening when I called them I was informed my booking was not accepted and they blamed it on the airlines and my money would be refunded with in 3 - 4 days. I requested to speak with the supervisor and the tickets cost had increased by Rs.20, 000, she informed me that he was busy and I would have to wait for an hour instead she would arrange for a call back. I never received any call back. Now I have to look either alternate tickets or pay higher fare I also want to know who is going to pay the difference in fare and also the interest o[censored]sing my money for X number of days. I would like to take MMT to consumer court and get them to pay the damages.

            I cancelled my booking because I booked with default head count of one, so I cancelled and thought to rebook with head count of 3. Once i did cancel my money is completely taken away. I talked to the customer care and asked at-least add the extra head count and reopen the same booking. But they replied it is not in our hand, money is given to hotel and it cannot be refunded. So I rang up to the hotel, but the hotel management said refund is allowed one day before check-in date and also money is with makemytrip only till that time. When I checked the same hotel in goibibo it is true up to one day before check-in is able to refund with 10% cancel charges.

            Thanks for your feedback, I understand the marketing strategy is different for each, but my other question is if booking is cancelled by mistake and why you hesitate to reopen the same Booking ID at the same time duration?

            I also understand reopen of cancelled booking have many issue from your side, but still you should consider the time duration and other criteria and mistake which happen manually.

            I spoke to the customer care immediately when I felt something happened wrong from my side.

            Also your website didn't show the cancellation charges applicable if I do so. Warnings and alerts are mandatory when we do this kind of transaction, also you need to show the cancellation charges applicable before accept.

            May be you can cross check this with Goibibo website. Finally I pushed to book same hotel in that same day.

            You have given your comments when we do booking of the ticket, but i asked you when we do cancellation of the booking, there is no clear pictures of how much charges applicable on cancel, it is showed only after cancellation.

              I booked a ticket from bangalore to delhi.and end system booked it for Delhi to bangalore.not my mistake.. I have already raised a complaint[protected] regarding this. But they people are not agreeing on this.
              this is not the first time when I am booking the tickets with make my trip I never faced any problem in past.. If you can check my account. when I m saying that I booked for bangalore to delhi only.. Why you people are not agreeing on that.. If you actually value your business with us. You will definitely resolve this issue.. Hope you people will do the needful and refund my amount.

                  Subject: regarding complex, fraudulent, hidden terms and conditions of makemytrip using their bonus mmt wallet policy to earn extra revenue.

                  Dear sir,
                  I had booked a flight from bengaluru to kolkata for journey date 17th march 2016(Booking id nf[protected] with an offer related to their promotion going on by makemytrip using code “mmt2016”. According to this offer, there is flat inr 2016 off in the flight with a small asterisk related to terms & conditions. But there is a catch in this offer. The cashback will be credited in mmt wallet and kindly note that only 5% of total booking amount can be used from mmt wallet at any future booking subject to a maximum of inr 500. For example, if i have booked inr 5000 flight then i am eligible to use only inr 250 from makemytrip wallet.

                  Even after this discrepancy, i am ok from above policy as they belong to bonus part. But when i cancelled the booking id nf[protected], the makemytrip has deducted rs 2016 from the cancellable balance by saying that i have received rs. 2016 cashback as per the offer. But kindly note that i can't use that bonus amount rs 2016 as per my convenience due to a restriction of 5% of total booking amount from mywallet. I still have rs 2016 in my mywallet bonus section which i can't use as per my convenience.
                  On the contrary, when the cashback is in the credit card account the mentioned terms & conditions are bit clear for cancellation policy as makemytrip also know that cashback is real money for the consumer. I am attaching the screenshot of one of the examples which i have captured from makemytrip site.

                  So, i kindly request you to take action against makemytrip against illegal & complex revenue practices of makemytrip, which is making money by fooling customer and instruct them to show clarity of offers. Every time a customer can't read a full page of terms & conditions and then makemytrip wallet policy and that too in complex english language. So, please save customer like me. Very few customer can raise the complaint about the same in consumer court due to various reasons.

                  Complaint number[protected] &[protected] has already been raised with makemytrip. If i didn't get resolution then i will go to the court. I wont take this issue lightly as this is related to many consumers of makemytrip

                    It is to be inform that I have booked a online executive room at Hotel Delhi Pride, New Delhi NCR 12A/28 WEA Saraswati Marg, Karol Bagh New Delhi, INDIA for dated 17.03.2016 with my family through makemytrip.

                    Makemytrip Booking confirmation ID is NH[protected] booking date 10th March -2016.

                    For your information, my flight was very delayed and arrived at hotel around 9 PM with my family without having lunch and than hotel manager said that your accommodation has been arranged to other hotel. When I checked that secondary hotel the rooms were so cheap and non comfortable. I asked immediately that I want my rooms which I have booked through make my trip, and than hotel manager we don't have executive of any rooms available that has already been given to some other customers which was for me so astonished. I asked the reasons but they have just given excuses and all. Till 11 PM no hotel has been given to us and my wife & my kid was so much hungry and tired which is really hurts to me. This is only because of duff and dull hotel management. Finally they have arranged a hotel for me which was around 4 Kms away from this hotel. The room which they have given was only Super Deluxe room and when I Checked in secondary hotel, no dinner facilities were there. I was really feeling helpless. During sort out and finding accommodation I lost my Ray Ban Goggle which costing to Rs. 5500/-

                      I have booked ticket (booking id- nf[protected] on 16th jan, 2016 from varanasi to delhi but on airlines platform. Ticket cancelled by medical officer on varanasi. And make my trip returned amount of rs. 1689/- after deducting rs. 900/- of their charge (rs. 300/- each person) on 6/2/2016. But as i talked to spice jet airways customer care no. They said they have returned full amount to 'make my trip' & another amount of rs. 6981/- on 02/03/2016 but 'make my trip' doesn't refund amount of rs. 6981/- to my account.

                        I had made a Hotel booking of Rs. 3287 through Makemytrip App on 13.03.2016. For the same booking, Makemytrip charged me twice and debited twice the same amount of Rs. 3287 for single booking. I have received the confirmation from my HDFC Bank credit card as well about the double payment. On seeking refund, they initially said that they have received only one payment (whereas my HDFC bank confirmed double payment) and now they are not responding at all or delaying the refund.

                            Respected Sir,

                            I booked my holidays through Make My Trip from 08.03.2016 to 17.03.2016 and experienced dreadful / horrible & unpleasant holidays during our entire stay. I would like to share my experience with you and I am not interested in apology from you but want compensation for the trouble/Mental anguish/torture given to me & my family.
                            1. My first interaction was with Ms. Shivani Tandon, Travel Expert,[protected]/extn. 3839. This lady is most incompetent/incapable/hopeless and not fit to become Travel Expert. She does not have any knowledge of hotels/ places / distances/ condition of the hotels etc. Lacking expertise in travel industry. When I contacted her on 11th Jan., 2016, I explained her my requirements, travel plan, my preferences of hotel, our comfort zone, our age etc. It was specifically/repeatedly told to her that since I will be travelling with my wife and other couple (in all four persons), I need hotel with four star facilities regardless cost.
                            2. Ms. Shivani Tandon arranged my holiday booking for the period 08.03.2016 to 17.03.2016 (Nine nights & ten days) i.e. from Mumbai to Amritsar to Dalhousie to Dharmashala to Chandigarh to Mumbai with hotel stay at Amritsar, Dalhousie, Dharmashala & Chandigarh. She had also booked my air tickets from Mumbai to Amritsar & from Chandigarh to Mumbai. She had arranged car for travel from Amritsar to Dalhousie to Dharmashala to Chandigarh. She had also planned our itinerary for all the places.
                            3. My Mumbai to Amritsar flight was booked through Spicejet and Chandigarh to Mumbai by Indigo. Ms. Shivani Tandon who had booked my entire holidays did not know that we will be carrying baggage’s for our stay for nine nights. Such an irresponsible attitude. While going from Mumbai to Amritsar Ms. Shivani Tandon booked us in Spicejet with only hand baggage eligibility/allowance. This is nothing but foolishness/stupidity. I had to pay Rs.1600/- to spicejet vide receipt no.502541 dt. 08.03.2016. Ms. Shivani Tandon did not inform me about such kind of deal. I want refund for this entire amount from Make My Trip because ticket issued by Make My Trip shows that I was allowed to carry 15 kgs per person.
                            4. The car which was arranged for us was without any carrier and there was no space for baggages. At the end, this problem was solved and owner arranged to fix up carrier to his car.
                            5. My first stay was at Hotel Sallow International, Amritsar from 08.03.2016 to 10.03.2016. This hotel is in filthy area near Amritsar Bus stand close to many urinals, garbage ground with lots of animals around. It was crowded place & lots of indiscipline traffic around. Hotel itself is filthy and rooms were very small & tiny/stinking &rotten smelling. No décor etc. Had problem with their Air-conditioner. Only one person could move in the room due to shortage of space. The owner showed me his e-mail received from Make My Trip where I found that Make My Trip paid him Rs. 639/- per day for the room and Ms. Shivani Tandon told me on 11th Jan., 2016 that hotel room rent is nearly Rs.3, 000/- per day. In fact I suggested her few hotels but she did not book them. By doing this Ms. Shivani Tandon had cheated me and looted my money. She was trying to save money for Make My Trip and putting me into inconvenience for the reasons best known to her.
                            6. I immediately contacted Mr. Sohaib Pathan on 8th March, 2016, (after reaching Amritsar) from Operations & Reservation department, Executive Domestic Operations, ext.44017 & Office no.[protected]. This person wrote to me on 12th Jan., 2016 that he will be my single point contact and for any problems during my holidays I should contact him. Mr. Sohaib Pathan showed his inability to help me and put me to Mr. Himanshu Panchal another executive from Customer Support department who only apologized and did nothing. Himanshu Panchal started giving me stereo type /standard answer. My wife also spoke to him and requested for better hotel for which he told us that we had to pay Rs.14, 000/- extra for better hotel. I made many calls on my mobile to your executives but they did not bother to help me and we had to stay in such a shabby hotel for two nights. During my stay I found many good hotels around and in good locality which were between Rs.2000/- & Rs. 2, 500/-.
                            7. My second stay was at Dalhousie from 10.03.2016 to 13.03.2016. We stayed in Hotel Bombay Palace. It was same story here also. No water in the room for no. of times. We had to bring buckets from elsewhere. No hot water. No heater was provided. They demanded money for providing heater in the room. No breakfast was available before 9.00 a.m. In this hotel ground floor is under total renovation and there was no maintenance of first floor. Door locks were damaged and could not repair it. This hotel was also shabby, stinking and poor quality. No proper reception. Receptionist is used to sleep/ disappear in the night disconnecting intercom. I again contacted Mr. Sohaib Pathan who was not available on the number given by him. While I was standing in reception area of Bombay Palace, I found that they were charging Rs.550/- per room per day and Ms. Shivani Tandon charged exorbitant amount from me.
                            8. Our third stay was at Dharmashala in Hotel Anand Palace from 13.03.2016 to 16.03.2016. This hotel was ok. But again poor maintenance. Poor quality of Pillows & cover/bed sheet etc.
                            9. Though our stay at Dharmashala was up to 16.03.2016, we left the place on 15.03.2016 and proceeded to Chandigarh. The itinerary provided by Ms. Shivani Tandon says that it takes six hours to reach Chandigarh from dharmashala. But in reality it takes minimum eight hours due to ghat section etc. How can person start from Dharmashala after breakfast and reach Chandigarh in the afternoon and visit Rock Garden, Rose Garden, Museum & Art Gallery. Only Shivani Tandon can able to answer.
                            10. We did not stay in Hotel marc Royale at Chandigarh because this hotel was very far from main town almost 15 Kms. away from main city. Outskirts of Chandigarh main city. Again filthy area. No restaurants around. No good locality. We stayed in Hotel Hometel group of Sarovar Hotels and had to spend from our pocket.

                            MY CONCLUSION:-
                            1. Make My Trip is a cheater/fraud Company and loot their customers by providing substandard/low budget hotels. The room which costs between Rs.500/- to Rs.800/- Make My Trip charge exorbitant amount from customers. You provide very average hotels not worth staying for the people like us.
                            2. Executives of Make My Trip are fraud. They are with you till the time they get full money from customer. Does not know ABC of Travel business. They have not visited hotels personally which are on Make My Trip list and hence do not understand before offering them to customers.
                            3. Ms. Shivani Tandon, Sohaib Pathan, Himanshu Panchal are incapable, ineffectual, incompetent and hopeless executives of your company. If they remain with you for more time, I am sure you will lose your business slowly but surely.
                            4. I am hundred per cent sure that you must have earned not less than Rs.40, 000/- from my package paid to you.
                            5. At Amritsar and Dalhousie, hotels are managed for few individuals who do not know anything about service industry. Owners are not staying /visiting hotels for months together.

                            SUGGESTIONS:-
                            1. Make My Trip should give three different set of hotels with different cost. Customer will then have choice to select from list of hotels.
                            2. One executive should be available to help in emergency.
                            3. When you plan customized tour, how can you plan tour to your benefits financial wise and not to the satisfaction of customer.
                            4. When we had given you all the details of the age etc. then how can you place us at inconvenient place, unhygienic environment, without proper facilities etc.
                            5. I know for sure that Make My Trip is not running trust and you also want to earn profit. But at what cost? By putting customers into trouble.
                            6. Your executives should visit all the hotels on your participants list and make sure that those hotels are worth staying for the customers like us.

                            MY CLAIM :-
                            1. I want refund of amount Rs.1600/- paid to Spice jet.
                            2. I also want some portion of amount paid to hotels as damages for mental torture/agony.

                              I have made a flight booking costing 8333 RS, but the amount is deducted twice. (8333+8333) Rs. MakeMyTrip also confirmed the receipt of amount twice. Now when I am asking to refund extra amount they asking bank statement details and all, I have already provide once, but i should not provide my bank or my personnel details again and again. rather they should check with their accounting department or concerned bank for any other transaction details. It's been long for my being registered complaint, no action done so far. please help.

                                Make my trip lured me into doing hotel booking in their site showing the free room night offer and they say now that the offer code was expired now within a month of booking even without intimating me. When I called the Customer care, they lied that a mail was sent to me telling about the expiration of the coupon. I checked the website also where nowhere it was mentioned about the expiration of the coupon but maybe it was buried in between hundreds of Terms and conditions which would amount to cheating unsuspecting customers. These kind of sleazy offers with hidden conditions actually lose the faith that customers like me have on Make my trip. I went for booking on Make my trip in light of these offers when clearly Goibibo had better rates.

                                  I had booked a hotel on 22nd Jan, 2016 for stay in New York for 30th Jan for one night on Make My Trip and paid INR 7661. Later on, I had to reschedule it for 2nd Feb.

                                  I put in a request under Manage Booking on 27th Jan and also called them on 28th Jan. They sent me a payment link on 28th Jan but the payment did not go through because of some problem at their end. They said that they will resolve the problem and get back to me on 29th morning. No one called me on 29th morning, so I called them back.

                                  They had still not resolved the problem and asked me to wait for some more time as they had written to the concerned department on high priority.

                                  In spite of making numerous calls, the problem could not be resolved. As there was not much time left to change the booking, I called the hotel directly but they could not make the changes as the booking was done by a travel agent.

                                  I kept calling Make My Trip on 29th Jan, but every time they had the same thing to say. That they have written to the concerned department and it is on priority and the issue will be resolved soon. That someone will call me in 4-6 hrs. By that time, it was past midnight.

                                  When I asked to talk to a senior, I was told that they cannot do so. I also wrote to [protected]@makemytrip.com, but have just received a standard reply. If the booking was not changed in next 12 hrs, then this booking would be null and void as it will be of no use to me. I would have to make a new booking at the hotel and make full payment again.

                                  I could not cancel this booking for full refund as the cancellation date was till 28th Jan.

                                  I had to book this hotel again from another website for 2nd Feb and made the payment again. When I called Make My Trip, I was told that I will get my refund in some time. It is now 2 months and my refund is pending.

                                  I request to take a look into this matter and resolve it at the earliest so that I can get my refund.

                                  I have been constantly in touch with one Ms Rittika Chakraborty and she assured me that they will take care of the matter and will refund me soon. But I am yet to hear back from them.

                                    Feeling really disappointed and upset on how MakemyTrip deals with their customers in case of mishappening / road accidents while on trip. Yes, I am talking about accident that occurred in Mysore on 27th Dec 2015, where my son, daughter-in-law and my grand-daughter came into death trap.


                                    This is regarding Booking Id: IN1508B4S659221 in the name of Puneet Garg done for Bangalore-Mysore-Ooty from 25th Dec to 30th Dec where city transfers were made through taxi. However on 27th Dec 2015, due to negligence of driver, their car met with a serious accident in spite of warnings that were given to driver by my son and daughter-in-law. My son had been fighting for life for 5 days far away from family and is on bed since then. But as a service provider, MakemyTrip don’t even have sympathy to ask or give help to your customers if they fall into these type of situations. I know that my daughter-in-law got few calls on first couple of days but at that time she was not in position to talk, but later on when she approached MakemyTrip for help and arranging air tickets back home etc, MakemyTrip officials people stopped answering her calls.


                                    My daughter-in-law used to get calls from Kritika Singh from MakemyTrip head office if any help is required, but when she asked for help, she stopped talking. So the calls were just made for the sake of name. Is this the right way to deal with the customers? I would like to ask the leadership team and management team of Make my trip that you take the money well in advance from customer, you have your organizational friendly policies where only organization is at Win situation, so WHY MakemyTrip DON’T HAVE ANYTHING WHEN SUCH ACCIDENTS OCCUR. Where customer should go and ask for help.

                                    Due to rash driving of that un-experienced driver, my son has got hip bone fracture and multiple facial bone fractures and he is going to be on bed for another 6 months. MakemyTrip has spoiled his life and our lives as well. It just means that whether a customer live or die, MakemyTrip need money which is always paid upfront. Right? Shame on You!!

                                    This is worst level of service one can ever receive. Pathetic!!! Now I want MakymyTrip to refund entire vacation of Rs 51K along with the Hospital expenses (6 Lakhs) and extra travel expenses (1 Lakh) that were incurred.

                                      I booked my 2 day journey to Germany online from Mumbai to Dusseldorf (DUS), Germany (via Abu Dhabi and Munich, Germany (2 stopovers)) from Make My Trip (MMT) on 11th Nov 2015.I could have taken direct cheap flight to DUS instead of two hops, but I had to deliver the parcel to my friend in Munich airport and then move to DUS as the halt was about 2.5 hrs.
                                      On 25th @Mumbai airport, i specifically asked Etihad, to offboard my luggage at Munich and asked the boarding pass for the same. When i reached Abu Dhabi, to my surprise i was offered a direct ticket (even issued a new boarding pass to me without my concern) to Dusseldorf instead of going via Munich and the reason for the same was the flight from Munich to DUS was cancelled. When i insisted (after 30 mins debate) that i would bear the expense for Munich to DUS, they allowed me to board flight till Munich and asked me to contact travel agent (MMT) for return flight confirmation.Immediately i contacted MMT via email (and i tried contacting them through out my journey), there was no response. All i saw was somebody else's name on my return ticket back to Mumbai. Etihad refused me to issue return ticket at Germany airport and as my visa was issued for 5 days, I had to book another ticket immediately. When i came back to Mumbai, i contacted MMT to refund the amount, they are just ignoring the fact that Airline never said the flight is cancelled and instead of refunding me the amount, they cancelled it without my permission and returned me Rs 4346 which they should have refunded me Rs. 23, 000.
                                      MMT did cheated on me and did a fraud by allocating the same ticket to somebody else as well and refusing to refund the amount. They don't even care to reply me when i was abroad and listen to me. Thankfully i did had enough credit balance and purchased another ticket, else i would have ended up in a Jail. Can you please help?

                                        Really disappointed when i came to know that there is a rate difference between quote stated by hotel sales team on call and what i booked on make my trip. On call with united 21 resort, i came to know that deluxe a/c room including breakfast is charged @6400/- excluding taxes and i have paid @10945/- excluding taxes to makemy trip. Such a huge rate difference. Recently went online and tried to check the current booking amount stated in website and was shock to see that suite room including breakfast has been quoted at rs. 8260/- which comes in higher category.

                                        Your customer care team told me to drop the email for the rate difference and sorry to say such a customer service just to cheat customer is given b y makemy trip.

                                        I am been fooled by showing discount offers and charged higher from existing. Can you please come as earliest.
