On February 23, I used the MakeMyTrip app on my phone to make a hotel booking for a night in Niagara Falls. After entering my payment details, the screen did not load after the final step so I checked "My Trips" in the app and nothing showed up. So I closed the whole app and tried to make a booking again. This time, the booking went through and it showed up in "My Trips". However, when I checked my email address there was 2 confirmation emails, so I quickly called MakeMyTrip. The agent on the phone opened up my Booking ID and I explained my situation to him, however he kept referring to the cancellation policy and that I would not get any money back. I sent an email to MakeMyTrip and I have not even received an email back since then. I tried calling again the following day and the lady on the phone refused to listen to me and when I tried telling her I two duplicate booking ID's, she kept saying "we're talking about this booking ID only so tell me what you want for this booking ID". She literally repeated that 3x without even listening and trying to understand my situation, and was very rude. I tried emailing them again and even filed a "complaint" but still no response from them.
Summary: The MakeMyTrip app had a glitch and caused me to double book for an exact same hotel room. I attempted on multiple occasions to contact the staff at MakeMyTrip but they refused to provide me with a refund.

In reference to your complaint, we have validated your case with our concerned department and post validation we have initiated full refund of Inr 17947/- from our end on 16-Mar-16 towards the original form of payment i.e. in your Federal Bank account. The same should be reflecting in your account as per your bank processing cycle.
