Booked ticket through make my trip app of different flight but when the payment gateway has been changed at the end, the selections has not been retained hence different flight has been booked.
Called customer care immediately & provided my selection snapshots which clearly states the flight ticket being booked till payment page is different & even though it has been accepted that its fault in their make my trip app, no refund has been generated yet.
Even the repeated followups on mail & call with customer care makes no difference to them & my 10516 amount paid for the junk ticket is at stake.The MakeMyTrip Booking ID is NF[protected].

    1. On 21/02/2016 I logged into your web site to make a return booking in name of Prity Lahri from Mumbai to Jaipur.
    2. I selected flights for booking as per details below:
    a. 4th march 2016 – Mumbai to Jaipur – G8-391
    b. 21th march 2016 – Jaipur to Mumbai – G8-392
    3. After selecting the flights I navigated to payment page of your web-site to make the payment. I provided debit card details of my HSBC a/c.
    4. Before I could get a confirmation on the payment, your web-site reported an error and displayed another page (attached with this mail).
    5. As per the message at (4), it was obvious that the booking did not go through and it was assumed that no payment has been taken from my account.
    6. Meanwhile, I made the bookings directly through another airline.
    7. To my surprise, I got a mail from you confirming my bookings and an invoice, which was never confirmed by you while I was online at your site.
    8. I immediately contacted your call center in India and did not get any satisfactory reply.
    9. I request you to immediately cancel my booking and refund any payment taken out of my account.

      I had booked a holiday package with make my trip.
      Booking id :in1601b8s195248.
      Before booking their behaviour was just outstanding. I was assured to every possible service in case of any problem. But when i completed my payment, i got to see the reality of make my trip. My booking was handed over to ms. Nisha singla who used to call me two three times before payment, did not call me even once after payment despite several requests to call. They have a policy that they send all the coupons within 24 hours, but i did not receive any of the coupons. I called them myself to get the coupons and they sent me the coupons only for hotels not for flights. I also asked them to connect me to ms nisha singla as i had some queies and issues with booking to which he said that this can not be connected right now and they will get back to me but i havent received any call so far even after 15 days. Also, as they did not send the flight coupons, i had to again call them for the same and beg them to send me the coupons. Larger issue was some concerns that i had with booking and they said this can only be handled by ms mallika batra who did my booking but i was not connected to her as well. I kept sending mails to them, kept them calling like a begger and they kep me fooling. Everytime they said that they have assigned a high priority mail to ms mallika batra and ms nisha singla but it was of no avail. As i used to call them all day, my call was connected to superwise once, mr abhishek kukreja, who did not even listened the complained fully and transferred the call to some other unknown department. That is the most rubbish behaviour one can expect from a senior executive. I used to ask them to connect my call to some appeallate authority but none of them did so. They used to either disconnect the call or put it on hold and then disconnect. I even escalated the complaint to their first level, i received a call from ms. Sarvdeep kaur, who assured me of all possible help and promised to get back to me by 15th feb. It is 21st feb now and i havent heard from her again. I even contacted the senior manager of ms nisha singla, whose info was mentioned in a mail if you are not satisfied with my service contact my manager, but i did not receive any response from him also. I called them more than 100 times, escalated complaints on their complaint forum, sent mails but no one give a damn to my complaints. It was all before the trip even started. I knew that even if there is some issue during my trip, i am not going to receive any support from make my trip. On the very first day of my trip, where i had booked a hotel room with flower decoration, there was no flower decoration in the room. I again called the mmt for the same but as always i did not receive any response. This has been a nightmare to book this package with make my trip. The 10 days before my trip started, i did nothing except calling mmt for management of my booking and alas! They could not even respond to my small queries. I have raised the issue to even their second level of escalation but there has been no response from them. I have not seen such pathetic service from the senior management of any company. All those who are going to book with them in future, i would advise you all the luck that your trip goes without any issue, because i[censored]nfortunately there is any issue, there will be no one, literally no one, even after 100s of calls, there will be no one to help you.

        Hi,

        I had booked a trip to Dubai on July 31st 2015 using my HDFC credit card.Booking ID:IN1508B4S001784.Applied the promo code HDFCHOLIDAY.I was supposed to get the cashback(20%) in October but till date haven't received it.Mr.Jaspal Singh was the incharge person all that I would get is we are looking into it.But there is no update till date.I was rooted to Rani Verma\Yuvaraj N.I have dropped a mail as well but they did not have the courtesy to even reply back.This seems to be a Fraud case.Cheating the customers and make my trip does not seem to be a reliable.
        Hope this is looked into and take necessary actions on the respective people/team.

        Feel cheated.Especially if they give you the offers of cashback dont become a victim., they give false promises and cheat the customers.

        Very bad customer service.

          I had booked a tiger airway flight which was scheduled to leave on 13th feb 2016 the flight was reschudled on 12th feb and they informed make my trip which failed to inform me about it due to this i missed my connecting flight booked from make my trip from chennai to mumbai. According to the airline they intimated make my trip on 14th sept 2015. I was put up on singapore flight 2 days latter. I had to rebook flight from chennai on monday morning paying additional rs 20, 000. Need a full refund of the additional flight cost of rs 20000. Tried contacting the customer care team they say problem is with international team and the international team keeps on transfering the call to domestic team.my booking id is nf[protected]

            I booked a waiting train ticket from makemytrip.com & it was in wait list till my journey & get auto cancellation msg from IRCTC that refund amount has been sent to your bank. I also check refund status on irctc.
            I had wait till 15 days and then I generated a refund complaint ticket on 02/12/2015 but no refund till date despite several reminders.

              Hello,

              This is an email to make a complaint against my booking ID (IN1508B4S212311), for Resort Rio Goa.
              My concern is that I made a booking for Luxury Deluxe category with the below mentioned room facilities with make my trip. Please check the mail trail.

              Room facilities:

              But when I reached here and asked for this room, receptionist told us that make my trip has booked a deluxe category with them.
              And in deluxe category, the above highlighted facilities are not available. Also, they showed us the mail which make my trip has sent to them (screenshots attached). I also took a printout for the same. They said that if you need these facilities then you need to make extra payment.
              I am with my wife on honeymoon and waited almost two hours at the reception to get the matter resolved. This was really humiliating for us at such a special occasion. So, manager asked us to take a room and send a mail to make my trip with complete details and screenshots, and keep them in loop.
              After that I had a word with their manager and came to know that make my trip has made a fake commitment with us. And it’s not the first time, they have faced same problem in past with other customers as well.
              Then I called make my trip customer care and they put my call on hold for almost 20-25 minutes, and told me that they had a discussion with manager and they will provide the luxury category room. The customer care executive also asked me to share the room pictures and said that if it will not be up to the committed facilities, then make my trip will compensate for it.
              After all this hassle, resort manager again told us they can just provide the category which is mentioned on the mail.
              Now I just want to know is this the customer satisfaction which make my trip commits. I came here from Delhi, once I entered in resort they asked me to take a room with less facilities which committed to me earlier. I made a booking through make my trip, because this is my first trip in Goa, and I was expecting 5 star facility on my special occasion. But the things was completely changed. I was literally not in a condition to more argue in resort manager, as this is new city for me and my wife with me. Also was really shocked with this experience.
              Request you to look into this matter on priority basis and provide us the solution and compensation for the fake commitment made by make my trip.
              Also resort rio manager, please do the needful in case of need.

              Your department is handling this issue from last one and half month and still not taken any decision.
              I don't know or god knows how many months or year they will take to resolve it.

              The room which they provided were Cozy room (same which you are talking deluxe category). Which has been provided me in my travel.
              I have shared my room photographs and the package which was booked in hotel.
              Also as per my words with hotel manager he told me Luxury Deluxe is different category and the Deluxe which was booked for me on my travel it is same Cozy room category. Literally it's quite unprofessional behaviour. Firstly, you guys made fake commitment and spoiled my special occasion and now telling me Luxury Deluxe and Deluxe category both are same. Did your executive didn't aware while he was booking my package, and providing me fake package and facilities. Did you map the facilities which mentioned in booking and the room provided. Did you checked the mail which MMT sent me and the mail which sent to resort rio. I have that copy of mail which you sent to Resort Rio. I get it from the hotel reception. There clearly mentioned you guys booked Deluxe Category instead of Luxury Deluxe and the facilities which you mentioned in mail was available only in Suit category. Also did you checked the calls which made by you executive, did you checked the call which I had on February 02, 2016, where your executive told me sir please take the room and share the room photograph along with the mail which initially sent to you on the time of booking, we will check it and refund the difference amount for it.
              Literally it's quite humiliating to explain the complete scenario again and again to you. Also you responses, its almost completed one month but nobody called me regarding this scenario with the complete detail.
              You are Yash. Can you please call me and explain me how both category are same.
              I am not travelling first time.
              I am regular customer of MMT Yatra and other online travel sites. But it a worst experience which I had with MMT.

              Also regarding the amount which i paid extra, it's didn't refunded yet. can you please give me update regarding it.

              Please compare the facilities which was mentioned in the mail and then ask to the RESORT RIO, is these facilities are available in LUXURY Deluxe room or not.

                1) I made a transaction with MakeMyTrip for hotel reservation with Lemon Tree Premier Hi-tech City, Hyderabad on Jan 31, 2016 for INR 6963/-
                2) Due to lack of clarity on the early check-in policy I had to cancel the booking to make alternate arrangements, in-lieu to the same I went ahead and cancelled the booking on Jan 31, 2016

                I was expecting a refund for this transaction and learnt that it was a non-refundable booking. Since I was not going to get the refund back, I requested to revoke the cancellation. After placing multiple requests online and emails I was informed that neither will I get the refund nor can the cancellation be revoked. What I fail to understand is that if there is a policy for non-refundable tickets, why does it allow the customer to process cancellation if the company is not willing to refund money. Further to this Lemon Tree rent the room to another customer and earn revenue and I'm penalized for a fine print policy which I was unaware off.

                Being in the e-commerce business MakeMyTrip will have rights to make exceptions in such cases, to my disappointment I was not offered any help from either the customer care or the management of the hotel.

                I request the Indian consumer complaints forum to guide me on how I can proceed to recover my money back.

                  Make my Trip have cancelled 3 all 3 tickets against a request for one ticket cancellation i.e of my son who had an exam and could not travel on prebooked ticket . On 12th Dec, My wife & daughter reached with Valid PNR bur Air aia informed that MMT had cancelled all the 3 tickets after repeated call to both MMT & AirAsia, they were turned back from Airport. After talking infinite no of times and inspite of MMT's promise to resolve within 2 days, MMTfailed to resolve the issue even after 2 months . Refund & compensation promised earlier were never discussed & my repeated calls met with same fate.Therefore, I request for your intervention .
                  I had to arrange ticket at the last minute for them, disrupting all our plan . ant detailsma like our subsequent travel, noting of Asia Asia person at the airport Etc are with us along with several response of MMT call centre promising to settle the issue within 2 days .

                  After 12th of dec, its March now, makemy trip is investigating it . Its a straight forward case where you have cancelled all the 3 tickets when request for cancellation for one done a week back of 12 th dec . SOS from T3 failed to get any response from you or you extended any help to arrange travel in any other day, leaving us high & dry. I have to arrange ticket on my own 3 days lster.

                  Since then your company is playing with time and so far none of the refund was psid, forget about compensation and loss inficted on me by the derailment of my programme . If this is the state of affairs, and looking at the spate of complaints against MMT, i think regulatory authrity need to be alerted to prevent this kind of harrasment to travelling public who book online assuming MMT is a reliable online company .

                      Hi,
                      On 1st of Dec 2015, I booked 2 air tickets from London to Chennai (route via London to Delhi and Delhi to Chennai) in Jet AIrways, due to flood in chennai, the flight from Delhi to Chennai got cancelled. When we contacted Jet Airways for the support, they said the amount will be refunded to your broker account (Makemytrip) and I need to get from them and they didn't provided any support at the airport. on the next day I booked 2 new tickets.

                      When I contacted Makemytrip, they didnt provided a valid response and closed the ticket with-out any comments. I tried escalating this issue, but no use. They said they didn't get the money.

                      I am so dis-appointed, was this how the travels give the response to their customers.

                      At last, I lost my ticket money and I paid nearly 20, 000 to reach Coimbatore and from there to Chennai.

                        On 23rd December 2015 I tried to book one flight from delhi to mumbai from make my trip but due to some issues the transaction failed but amount was deducted from my account till now(15th feb 2016) the amount hasn't been refunded. Whenever I call they say they say we will refund within 8 days but no response. I called the supervisor as well he said he will refund but he didnt. The complaint with Complaint no.[protected] is still open.

                          Further in reference to your complaint, we have validated your case with our concerned team and found that customer has made his Hotel booking on 06-Feb-16 for Lemon Tree Hotel in Pune. The booking was confirmed from our end and at the same time at 23-03 hrs. However, as checked customer has entered an incorrect e-mail id as [protected]@yahoo.com instead of [protected]@yahoo.com and due to this reason the confirmation and Hotel voucher does not reach to customer’s correct E-mail id. Please find the voucher attached for your Hotel booking.

                            Hi all,

                            i have taken the complete package from make my trip on Oct 29. Package is for dharamsala and Dalhousie. Really the arrangements made by MMT is very good also have plan to book more in MMT.

                            I have book the package through online with the help of Heena (not sure). Initially I had tought to make a full payment but CC advisor informed me about the cash back benefits in EMI. I agreed and make my payment through online using emi (HDFC) option with the help of advisor and I am sure that I have entered the promo code but as per advise from CC advisor and advisor informed cash back will pay after 45 days . But stilI now i did not received any cash back to my account already I spent additional 4000 because of EMI. Please check this on high priority and come back to me ASAP

                            I have contacted the customer care in 18th and 20 in both the calls they have confirmed me I will get prompt response but till this date no response. My Bill due date is 25th please come back to me immediately and solve my issue
                            Still I Did not received Any response totally I have made several calls in all calls executive informed me that I will receive call with in 24 hours but now almost more than one month. Please help me to get my cash back form cheapest company..

                            Further, in reference to your complaint, we have validated your case with our concern departments and found that on 19-Oct-15 customer has made a Holiday package booking and has applied a deal code as HDFCEMI while making the payment and was eligible for a cash back of approximately Inr 7300/-. Please be advised that now we have initiate the cash back of Inr 7363/- yesterday i.e. on 21-Mar-16 towards your bank account with refund reference number# [protected]. The same should reflect in your account within 3-5 working days depending upon your bank processing cycle.

                              I booked 4 night in Suncity resort GOA...value + hotel from makemytrip ..one of the very worst experience from makemytrip suggested hotel ...room was terrible and with mosquitoes... We called hotelier for the same, simly he suggested other option...and that was also xerox copy of old one...I check out in 2 hours only ...my wife really vomited once by smell in room..you can ask to hotelier also ..we checked out in just 2 hours ...I don't want to explain more than this..just refund me all my money back as you commits ...below my all 4 bookind id and details..hoping your revert with refund update don't want to waste my time to escalate it again and again...

                                Hi,

                                I had asked the make my trip to suggest me some plan for the weekend of 13th and 14th feb as that is my anniversary apart from it being valentine day. I was assigned a booking executive paromita who promised to give me a good deal but after submission of first quote i told her to explain more options. Today being 12th Feb i have not got any response inspite of escalating on their website multiple times.. They have ruined entire plan because I was sure that they would be able to suggest something good, however i was wrong and this has given me a mental agony of facing my spouse that i have not been able to plan anything.

                                  Worst Experience with MakeMyTrip.com, they are fooling customers.

                                  Flight of air india get delayed by 2 hours, so I cancelled the flight by calling air india customer care, they said they have refunded my complete amount as flight was delayed, and asked me tp talk to MakeMyTrip for refund status.

                                  Total amount refunded by air india - Rs. 3018

                                  on 29th jan I got a message from my HDFC bank that Rs.752 has been credited to your account from makemytrip. So i called makemytrip customer care that why only Rs.752 amount has been refunded, they said I had applied deal code MMT2016 while booking so Rs.2016 has been added in you wallet, I told them that as my booking is cancelled so please reverese the wallet cashback also and give me my complete refund but they refused for it saying its our policy and we will not refund cashback. I told them that airline has cancelled my ticket and they have refunded complete amount so please refund me complete amount and take back you cashback, but they refused.

                                  I asked them ok then if I will book ticket now, then amount of Rs2016 will be reduced from ticket cost and will be used from my wallet, but they said you can only use 5% of your cashback in one ticket.
                                  So in short MakeMyTrip is fooling customers.

                                  It means I have to make 20 bookings from makemytrip to get my cashback, So i will recommend all my friend to not use makemytrip for flight bookings. They just fool customers.

                                  I told them to give this policy in written on my email, but they refused to do so. Even they are not giving me the complaint ID.

                                  On calling again ang=d agin to them they refunded my 250Rs. more, but still Rs. 2016 is with them, they are not returning it, Air India has given me complete refund. If complete booking is cancelled, then they should give me my complete money.

                                  I only want to say these type of behaviour from MakeMyTrip is totally unprofessional and unacceptable.

                                    On May 4th 2015, I bought 3 tickets to travel from Ahmedabad to Bangkok. I followed all the steps on the online site and a booking was never issued and I did not received any confirmation of my purchase. Regardless of this, 992.55USD were charged to my credit card from this company. This is my complaint ID which I've stated on May 2015:[protected] . I want my money refund on my credit card. It has been more than 9 months and I only receive emails telling me to wait for 72 hours on and on. Several times I have contacted by phone and by the support platform but they keep closing my refund tickets on and on. This company has a really bad service, I really need my money back.

                                        I booked a holiday package from makemytrip. After completing the whole payment at 05/02/2016, there was no confirmation flight and hotel voucher. After asking so many times they finally mailed me the voucher. But there were some problem regarding hotel rooms. So that i again called to the makemytrip. They took two days to resolve my problem. I called them at 05/02/2016, 08/02/2016, 09/02/2016/10/02/2016 and 11/02/2016 and each day i talked them around 4-5 hours. This thing categorically showed that they mentally harassed for last 3-4 days. I was also asking them to arrange a call for me to talk to seller who sold the package but there was no such call took place.They harassed me so much.Beware of seller name Malika Batra (makemytrip)(extension number 3440).
