This is in context to the MMT Vouchers issued to me by AMEX in lieu of spending on their AMEX Makemytrip card #[protected]. While amending a booking – return ticket from Delhi to Bangkok, I tried using the vouchers on 7th Nov. ’15, the vouchers did not work and came up with an error “Vouchers not applicable”. I called up MMT and I was told by the rep that any such vouchers are only applicable on fresh bookings and can’t be utilized on amendments/date change bookings. Immediately after that I created a fresh booking and tried using the vouchers, none worked this time too. I called up AMEX and a lady named Pooja/Puja tried to help me out, she went an extra mile and conferenced my call with a rep in MMT who asked me to write a mail at a particular e-mail ID and told me that the concerned team would take 24-48 hours to resolve my issue. I told her that I was on the verge of changing my return date and was already was already on a parallel call with a supervisor at MMT who had created a date change ID for me and I just had to pay the required amount and I needed to utilize my vouchers which I had earned with high spending on AMEX card. In case she could get me a resolution then, if she could speak to a senior and arrange a voucher code worth the same value and replace it with the one issue to me by AMEX. She said she could not help me with it. It was very disappointing and frustrating for me but I was helpless. Since I didn’t have much choice, I went for the booking and paid the amount online. Even if I could use one voucher at a time, I could have saved Rs. 5000 while making the payment since I have two “active vouchers” worth Rs. 2000 and Rs. 5000 respectively. At the same time I ended up over 2 hours of my precious time on a weekend talking to you and AMEX and ending the conversation without a resolution. I waited for a call back from the MMT team, expecting to receive a call from a Customer service Manager, however, I received a call from a lady named Margaret from Team Priority of MMT. I have had several conversations with her so but in vain. One is really difficult to understand and two she is dumb to the core that she hasn't been able to understand what was the issue and what resolution was I looking for. They have finally issued me a set of two new Voucher codes valid till July 2016, however I did not want that. I wanted a cash back of Rs. 7000 on my credit card since I could have saved the same amount while making my booking. On her last call on 3rd Dec. '15, she was supposed to get back to me with a compensation amount in lieu of the inconvenience caused to me and the time i have wasted so far chasing MMT for resolution. Till date i haven't received any call post that. Please review the entire case and suggest if my demand is legitimate.

    Dear Sir/Ma'am, I had booked a hotel for 2 days (Grant deluxe in Meerut) on 11th november. I checked in at 8 pm on 23rd november 2015 and checked out on 24th november. The payment of the booking was already done on 11th of November 2015 via online payment. On 2nd day of our atay hotel owner said that he did not get any payment from anybody and hence was not letting us check out until payment is given to the hotel. Seeing the situation, I called MMT customer care but did not get any solution. I called again and this time some other executive picked who finally suggested me to pay hotel in cash and assured me that I would get the refund within 3 working days. So I paid 1900 (950rs per day) cash to hotel because i had to catch the train urgently. After 3 days when I did not receive any kind of communication from Make my trip, I lodged a written complaint to Make my trip to which reference ID was also given Reference ID:[[protected]] which further assured me to resolve the issue in next 5 working days. After 5 days when I still did not get any solution they gave me a date (08th Dec 2015) by which I should get my refund. Now I am writing on 11th of December 2015 and I still did not get any information about my payment. I am completely surprise at the inefficient of Make my trip that they cannot resolve the issue even in 20 days. I recommend all the passengers not to book any hotel through Make my trip. There are other online websites available in market which offer excellent services and far more exciting offers than MMT. As a last resort I have to choose the way of consumer forum.       While trying to book a flight from chennai to bangalore, the website does not provide enough information on whether the flight time is AM or PM. When we contact customer service, they re-direct us to the airlines and the airline redirect us to makemytrip. To add to the calls, makemytrip has issues with their website of not being able to pull up records and mention they need 3 hours to get their systems to start working. Further, the customer service mentions that it was our mistake and their website has not issue at all. Is this how makemytrip treat their customer? Would anyone want to book flights from a website who's customer service has no understanding of a customer's issue? Then why demand for a customer feedback when you are not going to satisfy the customer's requests?

        I had made a airfare booking for Mumbai-Chennai round trip on refundable basis and received a confirmation voucher indicating cancellation on refundable basis. (Trip # NP[protected] and NP[protected]. However, MMT issued me a ticket on non-refundable basis. However, due to the floods in Chennai, I decided t cancel the booking as I had senior citizens traveling with me. Now, MMT comes back telling me that the cancellation fee will be as high as the ticket cost. When checked with airline as well, it was told that MMT booked these tickets on non refundable basis. I have tried calling the call center for last 3 days and all in vain with no early resolution. My call just keeps bouncing from place to place. The Supervisor, Mr. Kumar bluntly tells me that nothing can be done on this and refused to give me the escalation matrix to whom I may approach for my resolution. I have sent a few mails to the organisation, but with no response, except for a system generated email. This has amounted to clear harassment, and a classic case of cheating and forgery where I stand to lose INR 35K. It is a shame for this NASDAQ listed entity to behave in such demeaning manner.

          Hi There, I booked ticket(Ticket Number: NN[protected] from south africa to India for round trip, i choosed and paid money for Etihad airways.On Eticket they show Etihad Airways but when i went etihad counter they told me to go to Jet airways.When i went to Jetairways i missed flight, then i wanted to extend the ticket but they couldn't help me to extend my dates they keep on said me to phone later.Customer care people Anil, Akil, Raju on 14 th night spoke to me but they keep on told me to phone later.Because of Makemytrip i lost 30, 000 rupees and 3 days office, total 50, 000 rupees i lost. 1)They gave me wrong information on Eticket 2)They are very care less with Passengers, couldn't help me to extend dates 3)Taking money for expensive airways but giving cheapest airlines services

            Hi Team, I booked a Flight ticket from Chennai to Delhi on 2nd Nov. 2015 and Journey date was 18th Dec. 2015. As company had promised a cash back of rs1500 because of their Diwali offer in which if we are doing transaction for 4000 or more than 4000 through CITIBANK card and applying an offer code " APPFEST " we are eligible to get a cash back of Rs 1500 and last date for cash back was 5th Dec 2015. but till now they haven't provided any cash back although am calling them regularly but still they are not giving any confirmation that either I will get my cash back or not.               I had booked a return international flight on Make My Trip (MMT). Originally, there were four flights in the itinerary. However, suddenly, on day, I got an e-mail from MMT sending me a revised itinerary. The revised itinerary had only three flights instead of four. Their e-mail nowhere mentioned the reason for dropping one flight. On inquiring with them, I was told that one of the flights in the itinerary was called off by the airline. Further, I was told that their back end team is working on the matter and they will provide me an alternate flight in place of the original flight which was called off. After that, for 10 days, I have been following up like a donkey with them on mails and phone calls. I have contacted them at least 15 times in these 10 days. None of my e-mails have been replied. On all the calls, they tell a standard thing: "The issue is being looked into by their concerned back end team and they have raised the matter with them" On one of my calls, they told that they have contacted the airline and they are waiting for a revert from them. When I told them to share that communication with me, I was told that those are internal communication and cannot be shared. I do not understand how a communication with airline is an internal communication. Further, since such communication is related to a ticked on which I am travelling, why it cannot be shared with me? On another call, when I told her to read the case notes, there were two mentions about their so called efforts to contact the airline which were as under: 1. Tried contacting Air India office but the office is closed (My flight is on Malaysia Airlines. Why the hell they are contacting Air India Office?) When I asked for an explanation, the representative told me that they would have written Malaysian Airlines as Air India in short form. Wow, what a creative short form.. 2. Tried calling MH office but number was not reachable (Is the number not reachable for last 10 days? Dont they have any other number or any other mode of communication? The above is all what they have done in contacting the airline. There were no other case notes for communication with airline. And they are telling the matter is pending with airline.. Actually, the matter is not even raised with them and they are torturing the customer for last 10 days. Now I could understand why they are not sharing the so called internal and confidential communication with the airline.. Because there is no such communication. Pathetic Service. I am being tortured for last 10 days (Torture is an under statement.. One should discover a higher degree word for such service by their team) My filght which has been called off is scheduled 20 days from now.. Hope you people will do something and get me justice.

                I bought tickets to Bangkok for 3 people on 4th August 2015 (Transaction Id no NN[protected]‏) but had to cancel the tickets on 30th August 2015 and 1st September 2015. I received 3 separate emails (Reference Number - IN1508R4S330493, IN1508R4S331926 & IN1508R4S346175) stating that refunds for all 3 travellers have been processed. However till date I have received a refund for 1 person only. I have complained to the company numerous times (Reference ID:[protected] &[protected] but have had no luck with my money. Every email I write gets a response after 3 days. Nobody calls me in spite of having given them my phone number at least 10 times. In the last email they have asked me to send them my CC statements to prove that I haven't received any refund. I have replied to them on 1st Dec 2015 with the statements but haven't heard from them. I have been harassed by them for the last 4 months now. They cannot be contacted by phone either as they have moved their cancellation process online and don't entertain any calls regarding that. Who makes a customer wait for 4 months to get a refund of Rs. 40, 000? They are absolute crooks and this is the last time I am dealing with them for anything. I strongly feel that I need to take them to court and make them pay for their horrible attitude towards a customer.

                  Dear Sir, I had tried to Book ticket for 05 passangers including 01 infant on 13.11.2015 from Patna to Nagpur Via Kolkata through my Make My Trip app on the mobile. While booking I used my debit Card ending with No. **** **** **** 0055 for payment of Rs 66070.00 and the same is reflected in the account statement of mine, which is attached herewith for your kind perusal. However, the booking of the ticket was not completely successful ( Booking ID - NF[protected] as I received a mail from make my trip ([protected]@makemytrip.com) on 13.11.2015 at 18:02 that the ticket booking is not completely successful as ticket booked from Patna to kolkata via Go Indigo Flight - G8-542 has been confirmed but the ticket from Kolkata to Nagpur via Indigo Flight - 6E-404 has failed due to technical reason. Since the transaction was not successful, I booked another ticket from the App from Patna to nagpur via delhi successfully. However when the refund amount was not received by me till 17.11.2015, I talked on the toll frre No. and it was told that the Booking in question is not reflected in the system due to some technical error, Hence they would initiate the refund proces manually and a manual transaction for the confirmed ticket from patna to Kolkata was made and refund amount of Rs 32060.00 was processed as available in my login to Make my Trip. The details of the transaction is detailed herebelow :: Login ID: [protected]@yahoo.com. Mobile no is: [protected] Booking Id: NF[protected] Date of Booking: 13.11.2015 Date of Journey :: 21.11.2015 Place of Journey :: Patna to Nagpur via Kolkata Email Id: [protected]@yahoo.com Mobile No: 91-[protected] Amount Charged: 66070.00 On 26.11.2015, when still the amount was not received by me, I again talked on toll free No and talked to one Mr. Deepak and it was again told that only 32060.00 is due for refund and asked me to provide the Bank statement copy for verification fo my claim of Rs 66070.00. Then I had attached the statement of bank account for their kind perusal. I was asked to wait till 03.12.2015, on the day I received a mail that due to technical problems, refund was not processed and I was asked to wait till 08.12.2015.                     I booked 2 student tickets on 25-Oct-2015. I froze my PNR (46JPJD) at 1:24 pm when the price per ticket is Rs 43, 761. But I was charged Rs 5000 per ticket extra and was told that 3rd PC baggage costs Rs 5000/-.                       booking id- NF[protected].i had booked a flight jaipur bangalore on the 22nd of september underbthe flynow coupon code.i am yet to receive 1200 cashback as promised by the scheme.on repeated calls i am told that the coupon was not applied and they need 2 days to get back to me.i have called four times .one person by the name of supriya cut the call on me when i questioned her about the technical fault of the makemytrip app.she was rude and very unethical just like the company.i didnot recieve any mails or sms telling me about my booking.luckily i had the pnr number through which i was able to get my e ticket. i am appalled by the unethical and reckless response from the company.this seems to be a trick of theirs which they apply so as to not have to give away too many offers as my sister too was cheated in the same manner under the myrewards scheme which promised her 3 free hotel nights on 8 bookings.but they are using the same tactic saying the coupon was not applied. as a consumer i am helpless and disappointed at the very unprofessional manner of working of this company.had it been an international company they would be quick to defend their reputation and never treat the customer in this way.it is an indian company and that is why they behave this way, unfortunately.

Though the return ticket of 7th Nov. was cancelled, we availed the air services for the onward journey on 2nd of Nov.2015.                           My initial booking was for Dec 23 and I tried several times to advance this to Dec 19, but I couldn't. I used the online option and I got a notification saying the Customer care will contact you. Nobody did and when I did, she said the tickets are showing as available but not able to book the ticket. I called the Airline (British Airways) directly and they said tickets are available in plenty and only makemytrip can make the change. BIG mistake using makemytrip and the cost is the same / lesser if I had used the Airline website. NEVER GOING TO USE MAKEMYTRIP again. Horrible user experience. Reference - NN[protected]

                            I had cancelled my flight with PNR YYQ4H, e-ticket number[protected] with Air India on 6th Nov. Flight was scheduled for 7th Nov. I had to cancel the flight just the day before the trip as suddenly one flight was rescheduled and due to which I was missing my connecting flight. Hence I had to cancel and immediately book another flight. I was assured of full refund by AirIndia during the time of cancellation as the cancellation was due to the airlines rescheduling the flight. But even after a month, I am yet to get my refund. First, you guys make me suffer like anything by suddenly rescheduling flight and without even bothering to inform ( I got to know on 6th Nov about the rescheduling of the flight only when I myself called up the Airlines for the flight status). I had to incur so much more cost cos of this as immediately I booked new tickets for 7th Nov. On top of that, here I am struggling to get my refund. I have been following up with makemytrip for the refund but there's no response, when I call Airindia, I am being told that I have to contact makymytrip only as I booked the tickets thru them. I contacted makymytrip n no of times. I sent them mail after mail, escalations after escalations and then I wrote to management. But I have never got a single response from them other than just the system generated auto reply acknowledging the receipt of my mails. Please let me know how and when do I get my refund.                                 I had opted Domestic Holiday package to Andaman from MakeMyTrip (MMT). Sales Executive had offered HDFC (12.5% cashback, CODE: HDFCEMI). So I opted this offer using my Credit card. While making payment to MMT I choose HDFC CC with 3 months EMI with Coupon Code (HDFCEMI). But, my HDFC CC statement doesn't show any cashback and the amount was not even converted to 3 EMIs. So I had pay the entire 90, 000/- in one shot to avoid late payment charges from bank. HDFC customer care don't have any clue about this offer (Cashback). MMT customer support is also not responding to my enquirers. I will provide more details in future communications

                                I booked ticket for my Mother-in Law from Bangalore to Mumbai through Jet Airways on November 2nd when there was a Cash Back offer on Citi Bank Credit/Debit Cards. It was informed to me the money will get credited to my Citibank Credit Card by December 4th but till now no money has been credited to my card. Whenever I call up customer support I only get the response in Systems are down & All the managers are busy on other call. I will get the call next but nothing happens. I need the escalation email id of complaints department .

                                Also the Customer Service team is non Supportive & the service by the team is useless I have to wait for more than 45 mins in my each call .

                                  REF Number(NF[protected], amount INR 8, 035) I had booked the tickets from Bangalore to Bhopal via Hyderabad on the 6th of November. The booking did not go through because of payment gateway issues. And since its a technical fault, I was expecting a full refund, which was committed to me by the customer representatives. Till date I have received a refund of INR 7, 835. And since that time make my trip has been spinning me around in circles for the refund of INR 200 which was apparently accidentally deducted by them. It took them close to 30 days refund the failed amount back that too not completely. I am fed up from following up with them, and every time they commit that it will happen in the next 5 days, but I still haven't seen the day yet. Please help.

                                        I had booked the round trip of Pune-Delhi from Makemytrip.com and at the time of booking i applied the coupon for Rs.1200 cashback and it got applied successfully. But when i have not received the cashback i called the customer support, they told me that the cash back will be received within 21 days after the date of travel. But after the date of travel also when i have not received the cashback then i called them again and now they are saying that cashback is not applicable. Now they are also not replying to may mails.
