Makemytrip.com — Deduction of money without ticket confirmation
I booked a one way ticket on 4th November, 2015 at around 12:15 pm from New Delhi to Allahabad for 7th November, 2015. During payment via net banking, the amount of Rs 6393 INR was deducted from my account and it showed that my session has expired but no booking confirmation showed up. After the booking, I did not receive any email from Make my Trip. I am shocked to see the message on phone history that my ticket has been cancelled and cancellation charges of Rs 1802 INR has been deducted, even though I did not receive any ticket nor have I cancelled the ticket. I tried many times to contact the customer service executive as they were probably busy, so could not speak to them. Finally Vkas Ali (customer service executive) attended the call and registered the complaint and also mailed me the booked ticked as well as cancelled ticket and gave me the complaint no.[protected]. After the carefully prediction of email, the cancellation charges in phone message and mail ticket were not matching (Phone message shows cancellation charge of Rs. 1802 and email ticket shows Rs. 1, 353). Even cost of ticket has been shown different in cancelled ticket and phone message. Until now I have not received the deducted money of Rs. 1802.00, as was assured by the customer service representative. Please remember, that I have not cancelled the ticket at all, and I received cancelled ticket and ticket only when I made a complaint based on SMS message sent by you. Therefore, you are requested to refund Rs. 1802.00, deducted by you without any authorization, failing which I will take legal course of action.
