I made a booking from delhi to bangalore in INDIGO airlines for 24 november 2015, the money transaction was successful and it showed that booking was confirmed.but today on 24 i went to airport with my ticket but the indigo airlines said that there was no information for my ticket, then i called makmytrip, initially they said that the ticket was cancelled but later said that it was airlines fault and denied refunding the money back. They showed all reasons, my flight was on 8:30, i had to beg for my tickets as i had no clue what to do, my PNR: E8C9WZ
BookingID: NF[protected], flight: Indigo 6E - 131.
I had to cancel my tickets forcefully but they are denying from refunding the money.
I thought this should be put into notice, these companies are fooling the peoples with their money, please take serious steps, company should pay penalty. i wont refer anyone to book from makemytrip.

      Please dod not use Make My Trip (MMT) for bookings. Especially bus bookings.

      They sell tickets with wrong information. The pickup & drop information is not accurate and they do change bus timings and sometimes buses as well. They do inform you about timing changes but not the details. on asking the same, they will not provide any information.

      When you complain to them, you are royally ignored and you would already paid the money.

        Hello, My booking id is IN1510Q5S264821. I cancelled this ticket on 25th October 2015. Till today I have not received refund. I have called your customer support almost 10 times. Every time they say my issue will be resolved in 5 working days. How can you keep customer's amount with your self. I talked to airline they said they refunded amount on 25th Oct 2015 to makemytrip. You should provide interest on my amount. If I don't receive my refund in 3 working days I am moving to consumer forum. Regards, Amit Kumar

          I booked ticket through makemyTrip and due to personal issues want to postpone or cancel ticket. I tried contacting makemytrip serveral times and got response all the times, I can do online. Worst part here is I am unable to cancel ticket online with below message on their website- -- Sorry, the information on cancellation fees for this booking is not available online. In case you wish to cancel or modify this booking, please call us at[protected]Toll Free) or[protected] -- Support team always responding back you can cancel ticket online. This is disgusting. I am trying to cancel from past one week and it became my daily part to call them and talk for 20-30 min. One guy from support responded back to me- "Why don't you try online when are able to see for less price in online and why you are contacting us". Guys, This is very bad experience for me. I hope within 2 days, this company will cancel my ticket and let me know refund status. Regards, Lakshman

            We had booked a ticket and while making the payment Makemytrip.com website crashed. This happened on 19-September-2015. We immediately got a call from Makemytrip asking if we want to rebook the tickets. We rebooked the tickets on 20-September-2015 and then we realized that Cash has gone from our account twice to Makemytrip.com. Post that we raised a complaint to Makemytrip. Following is the timeline of Events which has occured: 01 - October - Compliant was raised by us. Reference id is[protected] 03- October - Query answered by Mr. Deepak kumar apologizing for the inconvenience. He reverted that amount will be refuned in 72 hours 04-October - We explained the issue again as Mr. Deepak had got wrong description of the issue 08-October-2015 - Mr. Ankush Chauhan replied to email with an incorrect resolution and requested another 72 hours of time 08-October - We replied with the correct description of the issue 15-October - Ms. Neha Sharma replied asking us to wait for another 72 hours 20-October - We followed up again. We escalated to the first level 22-October - Mr. Palwinder Singh replied and requested us to wait for 72 more hours 25-October - We followed up again. For the next 10 days, we did not get any reply from them 07-November - We followed up again 09-November - Ms. Jyoti Chouhan replied and asked us to wait for 72 more hours. She also requested us to Provide the Bank Statement for the third time 09-November - We provided the Bank Statement immediately assuming that finally we will get our money back 13-November - Ms. Jyoti Chouhan Replied asking us to wait for 72 more hours 16-November - Ms. Jyoti Chouhan replied asking us to wait again for 72 more hours 20-November - We followed up without any response 23-November - We have followed up again Additionally, the website does not allow us to escalate beyond the First Escalation. I sincerely hope this is not a deliberate ploy of the company. For a company, which is able to track website crashes & failed bookings in Real-Time, I wonder how long it will take to investigate this issue and refund the money back. It should not take too long if the intentions are right toward the consumers. I sincerely hope there is a resolution to this after posting it here. Rgds, Aravind

            I have submitted the Bank Statement Multiple times to your customer Care. It is very clearly mentioned that the transaction is successfully reached Makemytrip account. It shows the following reference in the statement as well:[protected] R[protected]

            I have checked with my bank also. They have also confirmed that account has reached the beneficiary.

            Also when the crash happened, we got a call from your customer care in the next 30 seconds asking whether we got the tickets to our email id.

            I don't know what the problem is here. It would be very helpful if you could check and revert again as I have a clear confirmation from my bank that the money is credited to makemytrip.

              I have booked flight that time flight departure timing was 5.20 hrs from Mumbai and arrival timing was 08.45 hrs in Cochin including Hyderabad halt. At present today i have checked PNR status it is showing arrival at Hyderabad at 6.40 hrs and Flight from Hyderabad is at 10.15 hrs which will arrive Cochin at 11.45 hrs the difference is of 3 hrs what changes you guys making without any intimation how will i manage i don't know please response me positive solution.                 While booking my ticket on MMT through my mobile, after giving the credit card details i got the message "sorry for the inconvenience, your payment could not be fulfilled successfully". So thereafter I went and made my booking again. To my surprise I have now got confirmation of both the bookings on my email. The booking ID of ticket booked through my moblie is NF[protected] and NF[protected] I request you to kindly cancel the ticket NF[protected] and refund the entire amount to my credit card a/c, since the error is from your end and through your app." My Email id is [protected]@gmail.com .                   My name is Ritesh Jesrani. On 5th November, 2015 I tried to make an online Domestic Flight booking via Make My Trip: Mumbai to Bhuj return (3 adults, 1 child) via Jet Airways. During the first transaction attempt I received a message on the screen that the transaction had failed due to some communication delay/issue with my bank. No booking ID was generated by Make My Trip. So I attempted the transaction again. During the second attempt the transaction was successful but the Booking could not be held/confirmed by Make My Trip and I have received the refund for this booking as per details below: Booking ID: NF[protected] Refund Date: 05 Nov 2015 Refund Amount: INR 46936 Refund Reference Number:[protected] However, my bank based in Oman, HSBC Oman SAOG has confirmed that the transaction has occurred twice i.e. Funds were transferred to the merchant (Make my Trip) from my HSBC Oman Credit Card twice for the same amount. As of now I have only received only one refund from Make My Trip for the second transaction. The enclosed snapshot of my HSBC Credit Card statement clearly shows that the above transaction has occurred twice but only one refund has been provided by Make My Trip so far. I sent an e-mail and a complaint to Make My Trip to demand a refund for the first transaction (Complaint Reference ID:[[protected]] . However, on both occasions they are simply replying about the status of the refund that was processed by them i.e. Booking no. NF[protected]. There is no mention of the refund status of the first failed transaction at all. As such Make My Trip has not processed the refund for the first failed transaction. I don't live in India so it is proving quite difficult to reach the company over the phone to address this issue. I request Make my Trip to kindly consider my complaint and promptly settle the refund for the first failed transaction as well. Regards, Ritesh Jesrani.

                    [protected]@gmail.com on makemytrip i have tried to book a ticket on 7th october for the spicjet flight for 26 Oct, 08:15 hrs Mumbai (BOM) to 26 Oct, 10:10 hrs Bangalore (BLR) first time booking failed at 3:20 PM on 7th october for this booking wallet balance deducted + Rs 4102 deducted from andhra bank account (screen shot of the statement attached) wallet balance credited back and but not the bank amount 2nd Time: booking succesful at 3:43 PM for the same sector wallet balance deducted+ 4102 amount deducted from my State bank debit card ending with 6473 (bank account statement attached) i have sent several emails to the makemytrip team but they are saying booking was successful (it was successful second time only), i am not getting any proper reply from makemytrip i have also requested to check the payment with payment processor if they have received it or else please provide me the payment processor name so that i can contact them no satisfactory reply till now

                      We booked a room for two nights in Writer's hill via Make my trip booking Ref Id:[protected] for October 2nd and 3rd. We got a confirmation immediately after booking. On October 1st afternoon a few hours before our departure, we got a call from Make my trip that this booking is NOT confirmed. So our holiday was ruined at the last minute. On top of this Make My Trip has not refunded our money till today (November 20, 2015). Such a fraud company. Instead of compensating us for ruining our holiday by this last minute cancellation - despite giving us a confirmation Make My Trip does not even have the professionalism to refund our money. Will Never book through them again even. Such frauds are in business !!

                        Hi, I did domestic hotel booking on 31st October On Mobile app. 3 times money was debited from my account but there was no booking done. I got message from Makemytrip that the money will be refunded with 3 to 7 days. When i called to customer care to ask why my booking was cancelled they its there technical fault and most bookings where cancelled on 31st oct. It has been 21 days now not even a single booking amount has been refunded. I had been calling again and again to your customer care but there is no help. My husband has been to the Makemytrip office many time they are say same line with 3 days it ll be refunded. It a horrible experience i m facing of poor customer care service. You guys are fooling me by give extended dates. I want you refund me ASAP and solve this issue. In my recent conversation with your customer care person, said me to provided the bank statement of 31st oct, to see whether the transaction was done. Even after sending the bank statement, there is no call from makemytrip. Given below are the complaint ID and Booking no.                           At the initial of trip the hotel was not confirmed so we had to take the pain in getting it confirmed via agent of makemytrip.com which lasted for 1hour & at the end of trip there was neither any appointed car vehicle to pick us up from airport nor the unavailability of the car vehicle was informed beforehand though the car rent was already paid at the very initial & the rest of the service rendered at our disposal was just satisfactory.

                            Hi,

                            I attempted to book a spicejet flight on 27th October 15 where I used Rs.1700/- from makemytrip wallet and the remaining balance i.e. Rs.4136/- was paid using my SBI Credit card.(Transaction id is given in subject line)

                            The transaction failed and the funds are not refunded neither in my wallet(Rs.1700) nor in my SBI crebit card(Rs.4136).

                            I had received a message saying money will be refunded in 3 working days.

                              Hello
                              Yesterday I did round trip rail booking through make my trip app.
                              When I was making booking there is option come fill the passengers details like name, gender, age etc...
                              I filled the name first then asked me fill the age of passengers for that need to scroll down the age option n numeric will come but once I scroll down the age option only 11 showing rather then 11 to 100.
                              I escape the age option bcoz I didn't find my age 35 in scroll down option but after escape/quit option, I was unable to process my booking there was a pop up window showing that first fill the age that time I was not having any option so I choose age 11 or booking has been generated by the name of child but my age is 35.
                              If I will journey on this booking it will be crime or reject by railway dept so yesterday I called to customer care of make my trip they told me your request for amendment taken n u will get your query resolve in 24 hour.
                              They didn't gave me my complaint no & when I asked the customer care executive to connect me your senior person to talk to this matter then he put me hold 45mnt n disconnect the my call.
                              Today again I called customer care to asked my complaint status then he told me we don't have ur complaint no & again he give me today another complaint no, again asked him connect me to concerned person who will take care my query so he put me hold 30 mnt n disconnect the call.

                              During my complaint process if the train seat booked fully then how will I or u do amendment n make fresh booking.

                              Hello
                              Yesterday I did round trip rail booking through make my trip app.
                              When I was making booking there is option come fill the passengers details like name, gender, age etc...
                              I filled the name first then asked me fill the age of passengers for that need to scroll down the age option n numeric will come but once I scroll down the age option only 11 showing rather then 11 to 100.
                              I escape the age option bcoz I didn't find my age 35 in scroll down option but after escape/quit option, I was unable to process my booking there was a pop up window showing that first fill the age that time I was not having any option so I choose age 11 or booking has been generated by the name of child but my age is 35.
                              If I will journey on this booking it will be crime or reject by railway dept so yesterday I called to customer care of make my trip they told me your request for amendment taken n u will get your query resolve in 24 hour.
                              They didn't gave me my complaint no & when I asked the customer care executive to connect me your senior person to talk to this matter then he put me hold 45mnt n disconnect the my call.
                              Today again I called customer care to asked my complaint status then he told me we don't have ur complaint no & again he give me today another complaint no, again asked him connect me to concerned person who will take care my query so he put me hold 30 mnt n disconnect the call.

                              During my complaint process if the train seat booked fully then how will I or u do amendment n make fresh booking.

                                I had done booking of two flight tickets on 11th nov . Booking I'd is NF[protected] for amount of 7528 . But when I saw my credit card statement, I was charged twice for the same booking . For the same passengers, on the same flight on the same day another I'd was created, NF[protected] . At the website of make my trip, this I'd is showing as unsuccessful . But payment for the same amount was deducted at the same time as the first payment . I have written repeatedly for past week to the mail I'd provided by company but I have received no revert . Request your assistance in getting my refund on priority .

                                  I had book flight ticket from patna to pune via delhi on 5th oct.Date of journey was 8th Dec'2015.Same day i had to cancel the ticket, after cancellation i got a mail from MMT that they have received the request for cancellation for booking ID NF[protected] & the refund will be processed in 5 working days.But the refund was not made .
                                  so i called & mailed them on 22nd oct for the issue, to which they replied that there was some processing end from their end & the amount will be refunded by 28th oct.But still no progress.
                                  After so many follow up & mail, on 9th nov they replied that the ticket for DELHI to PUNE sector is not yet cancelled .So it is your fault .They asked me to cancel the ticket first and then the refund for both PATNA-DELHI & DELHI-PUNE will be done.
                                  I did as per them & cancelled the ticket on 9th nov.
                                  On 10th i got a call from MMT Representative that both the ticket is cancelled and i will be getting the refund in next 3 days.
                                  Still no progess was there.
                                  On 16th nov, got a mail from them that the refund process is delayed and i will be getting the refund by 19th nov.

                                  And now 19th nov also over.
                                  I escalated the problem to step 3 on their website but every time they reverse it to step 2 such that the issue should not reach to management.
                                  I really feel like shouting at them and using bad words on them .

                                  After following up for 45 days, i feel like helpless and there is no support from MMT at all.
                                  They are just cheaters and have worst customer support.I Dont even know if i will get my money back or not.

                                  After so many follow ups, mails, telephonic conversation i got my money back after 1 month 25 days..Was not expecting this kind of customer support from Shamelessly they replied same thing every time that the amount will be refunded in 3 days.and again same mail after 3 days. To all people who's refund is not processed for many days, why dont we ask for interest of the money for the period they kept the money with them. I doubt it is a system failure or mistake by MMT in late refund of money.I think it is done purposefully to earn interest on customer money.

                                    I tried to book a ticket from ahmedasbad to indore. And during payment I selected myWallet but it is showing empty. I have 500 rs. in myWallet I am not able to use it. I need only bus ticket booking. I don ever need to book hotel or flight. So please look in this matter as soon as possible.

                                      There is no one for listening earlier makemytrip people cancel my booking NH[protected] by their own decision and refund me where non refundable policy applied in cancellation its all done because cancellation done from their side. Earlier I have been checked in a hotel booking ID-NH[protected] faced problems-called to MakeMyTrip people-promised me for satisfactory revert but revert came-no one listened I had to checked out hotel in 2hrs.No action was taken no refund provided no complaint proceed against my appeals. This time I do not want more hotel services experience with MakeMyTrip.And want to cancel my bookings whereas hotels are ready to cancel booking with full refund also given confirmation on mail.                                         I haven't received my 20% cashback yet.

                                        I have been told to use HDFCHOLIDAY code to use this offer. first they said this code is not right then when I provided the attachment which was forwarded to me they said you had not applied it. There was no apply button and had confirmed it with the booking adviser who advised me to just mention the code and it automatically gets applied. This is not the right way to attract buyers. pathetic experience ever

                                        I confirmed with your expert before making the payment.
                                        Only mistake I did was I haven't taken any screen shot. You guys know that customer doesn't do that and you can say whatever you want.
