Hi, I booked a hotel in Dalhousie via makemytrip.com website. After making the payment online, I got an email from makemytrip stating that my booking in confirmed and I can show the print out of the mail to the hotel reception and can get the room. But after a day or so, I got a call from makemytrip. The guy told me that I might have to cancel the booking since room is not available. I told him that the room was showing available during the dates on the makemytrip website and hence, I booked it and made 100% advance payment as well. The guy told me that there might be some problem with the website and now, he can suggest me alternate hotels in a similar budget. I was very angry with such a response but still I said ok. He asked me 15-20 min to confirm me alternate options. I waited for the response for 2 days. When no success, I tried calling makemytrip and wrote an email to them as well. I asked for a confirmation on my booking but still no reply. I just got married and going on honeymoon in May end and I am really scared about my booking. No body is replying to me about my booking confirmation. I made full payment and still not sure how will it go. Other details are below: Hotel name: Hotel Himdhara, Dalhousie Date of booking: 6th May 2015 Booking ID: NH[protected] Check in date: 28th May 2015 Check out date: 31st May 2015 Room type: Standard room No. of rooms: 1 Amount paid: 4556 INR 1st mail sent by me to makemytrip customer support team (to re-confirm my booking) on 8th May 2015 but no response. 2nd mail sent by me on 11th May but still no response.     Hello, I had booked Bhutan Package recently and completed the trip. The trip went well, that is the positive feedback that i would like to give here. But my complaint is When i initially booked the package from Kolkata my total price was 88 K and very next day the deluxe package price for the same day departure came down making a loss of around 10K for me. MMT excutives fOllowed up previous day to book saying as seats fill prices will increase and so on. Next day, when i questioned customer care executive said, the mgmt has changed the price and they did not have any clue about it and cant pay the difference. Now i am penalised for booking early and travel with fellow travellers who have booked later than me and stayed in same hotel with lesser price. If this issue is not resolved then i will take this to consumer forum and needless to say that i will never book in MMT for the discrimination done to me. I have raised the complaint in MMT portal as well. It was escalated and currently in your queue. My booking id is NL[protected] and complaint id is[protected]

      This is to bring to your kind notice that I booked my bus tickets, 4 in no., from KOLKATA(WEST BENGAL) TO SILIGURI(SIKKIM) in your A/C GREENLINE BUS SERVICE on[protected], and I intended to travel from the same on[protected] along with my three friends. Now i would like to bring your attention to an extremely harrassing incident that took place on the journey, a police man from the WEST BENGAL POLICE DEPARTTMENT boarded the bus with a camera at 23:58 hours on[protected] and wished to see our identity cards and we cordialy co operated and showed him the identity cards, but after that he suprisingly said that we need to go to the JAIL with him and then COURT the following day.The reason he gave was so stupid that I think it's below my dignity to write such an incident, being an Advocate in Delhi High Court of our country but still i would narrate it so that it may not be repeated in future, SO HE SAID THAT ITS ILLEGAL THAT TWO GIRLS AND TWO BOYS TRAVEL TOGETHER IN THE BUS AND DEMANDED BRIBE. THE BUS CONDUCTOR AND THE DRIVER ALSO SUPPORTED HIM IN THIS HENIOUS CRIME. The diver and conductor were drunk at night. It was an actaully EMBARASSING and INSULTING for me and my friends and police also tried to SEXUALLY ASSAULT ME AND MY OTHER FEMALE FRIEND AND THREATENED MY OTHER TWO MALE FRIENDS AND ALSO SAID THAT HE WOULD TAKE US ALL TO JAIL AT 00:25 hours on[protected]; but when I told him that according to the CrPC, ITS NOT POSSIBLE TO ARREST A FEMALE AFTER SUNSET THEN HE BACKED OFF AND LET US GO. Now I demand A FULL MONETORY REFUND OF MY TICKETS ALONGWITH A PROPER COMPENSATION AND A WRITTEN APOLOGY as I had to go under such a harrassing situation along with my friends and I would like to say if i see no action being taken then I am left with no choice but to file an FIR AGAINST 'MAKE MY TRIP' and 'GREENLINE BUS SERICES' and go to CONSUMER S FORUM because if I dont see an action being taken then its an obvious assumption that you also support such inhuman and henious tasks and then I am again left with no choice but to initiate a notion against your services and intimate every person of the same.         I have booked a tour of Thailand for THREE persons. I was attended by Mr. Mohd. Anas and his TL Mr. Anurag Thakkar of Ahmedabad. The proforma vouchers they provided were faulty having booking for 2 travelers which I informed to Mr. Anurag and he ensured that the correct vouchers will be released after we make full payment. Believing the same to be true, we made full payment but the mistake remains the same and Mr. Anurag has given up by saying that he can not do anything. Even other officers at different level are not listening to it. We request them to look into the matter and resolve the issue immediately failing which we will be forced take other suitable action against the travel agency and its officers.

          I have booked a tour of Thailand for THREE persons. I was attended by Mr. Mohd. Anas and his TL Mr. Anurag Thakkar of Ahmedabad. Initially they booked the tour for 20-25 May but later requested to extend for one day as there was no flight of Thai Airways on 25.05.15 which we agreed as we seriously wanted to enjoy the tour. Proforma Vouchers were sent to me which were faulty as the number of travelers mentioned therein was 2. I complained to Mr. Anurag and he told me that these vouchers have no meaning and asked me complete the payment after which final vouchers will be released and every thing will be rectified. I made the full payment but to my utter surprise the final vouchers have same mistake. I am repeatedly contacting your different offices since 12.05.15 but nothing is done and Mr. Anurag has given up the matter by saying that he can not do any thing. In view of the above facts I request to either resolve the issue today itself or cancel the booking by refunding my total amount paid to you along with compensation for this harassment to old people.

              Hi MakeMyTrip Team, I booked the Kerala tour (Munnar, Thekkady, Allepey, Cochin) tour and I am completely dissatisfied with the tour. I was given a driver with Indica AC 8314 and he was supposed to be my Guide for the tour. And he was least interested in showing any place and all he was interested in was to leave us at the hotel every single day. Communication : He said he dint knew English, Hindi A/C : He put very low AC and when we told to put AC he would say weather is good right so why AC. Not just Day 1) He drove so slow that even the three wheelers were going fast and when we told drive fast he told its diesel car and pickup is less. We reached munnar very early. He could shown us some places instead. Day 2) Started for the Erivukulam National Park, he did not guide us anywhere and we had to stay at the ticket stand for 4 hours before we could get the tikcet instead we could have got the reservation done. And then when we told him to take to Dam and the Lake where boating was possible he said it will be closed now and there is no benefit going there, and when we insisted to go there he took us there and it closed at 5:15 while he said it will be closed at 4:00. Tata tea museum: We told him to take to the museum he said it will be closed on monday while he could have taken us on Sunday. Day 3) He did not wanted to take us to Periyar lake instead he was saying go for some ride and it looked like he had some benefit in it. We insisted on it Day 4) We went to allepey and it was worst experience there.. The house boat went for like 1:30 Hours and halted a place until next morning which was a torture. Day 5) The driver wanted us to sit in the Cochin hotel for the rest of the day.. And refused to take us to local sightseeing in cochin. saying its not on the way to cochin. And I then call the supervisor and he asked the driver to take us to Fort Cochin. Day 6) The hotels cab dropped us in the airport and not the driver. Everyday I tipped the driver hoping he would show us places but he dint. MakeMyTrip itenary was good but I would never go with MakeMyTrip because of this horrible experience. And I would say this one thing. People go for vacation for ease out and not get stressed but this driver made me stressed.               Many thanks for your immediate action. Got to know that the company has taken the action. Surely I will want to go with MakeMyTrip again. As I am pleased with the concern shown.

              I have a request regarding the action taken by the Evergreen car tours. They have informed that the driver is terminated and I and my wife are pained with this decision of punishment for just this event.

              Hence if you want to make it up for what has happened I request to please let the Evergreen team to reinstate the driver.

                  On 2nd May on going through the "Make my trip" recommendations I booked a large room at Mango Hotels, Bengaluru for 10th May for 2 nights. I paid the full amount to MMt and they emailed me the confirmation and Hotel booking voucher by email. They sent me sms that I do not need to contact the Hotel directly. After an overnight flight from the UAE, on reaching the hotel, I was shocked to learn that no room has been booked. I was reduced to sitting in the cubbyhole lobby with my wife and daughter while frantically trying to call up the miserable "Make my trip" guys. It was only then that they sent the necessary email to the Hotel. IRRESPONSIBILITY is the least that I can say. I was lucky that the smallest among the so called "Large rooms" was still available, otherwise I would have to go back to the street to search for another hotel. I recommend to everyone "DO NOT MAKE A HOTEL RESERVATION THROUGH Make my trip.

                    Hello MMT Rs 32819/- was charged on 14th FEB and Rs 10728/- was credited on 4th March ( in march statement) There was nothing credited in April's statement Rs 11372/- was credited on 27th April. So till date I received 22100/- and 10719/- is still not received. i am fighting for this since last 3 months and MMT is the only Company which takes this much time and customer's petience.

                      I had booked two bus tickets through makemytrip.com from Nasik to Ahmedabad and return trip (Ahmedebad to Nasik) on 23/04/2015. Booking IDs NU[protected] and NU[protected]. Bus for onward journey (Nasik to Ahmedebad) was cancelled on 24/04/2015 and hence I was forced to cancel the tickets, and had requested for a refund on the same day. I had received sms alerts that the refund process would be effected within 7 to 14 working days, which is already over now, but no refund has yet been credited. I called customer care twice but no effect. Representatives are so passive and egoistic to respond properly. I have had the same experience with Red Bus also and hence migrated to Make my trip. But here again the same thing is happening. Why cant they pay me back my money? They dont have any right to hold my money. Please intervene .                           There are 3 bookings I made in the last couple of weeks which were canceled and this has resulted in failure on Makemytrip’s part to issue refunds. In one case, the cancellation charges MMT showed on the site at the time of cancelation were nearly half of what I was actually charged. At this time, MMT owes me a little more than Rs. 22500 and despite over ½ a dozen calls with lots of holds, multiple email messages to [protected]@makemytrip.com and several hours on their site (which has had a ton of technical issues since yesterday, May 10, 2015), they keep giving me the run around and standard replies of “It will take 6 days to process.” Here’s specific information with booking IDs, MMT Ref IDs, amounts owed, etc. Can you please help out. 1. Booking ID - NF[protected] Complaint Ref No.[protected] Issue - Ticket canceled, refund not issued Amount to be refunded - INR 10271 2. Booking ID - NF[protected] Complaint Ref No.[protected],[protected],[protected] Issue - Attempt to change travel date resulted in money debited from bank account, but travel date was not changed by MMT AMount to be refunded - INR 6304 3. Booking ID - NF[protected] Complaint Ref No.[protected] Issue - Ticket canceled (since travel date change did not work), refund amount (of Rs.1226) lower than what was shown on the site at the time of cancelation (of Rs.5976) - customer service agent agreed that what was shown on the site is the correct amount that ought to have been deducted and that the error is on their part, but saying another 6 days needed to give her a call back. Amount to be refunded - INR 5976 TOTAL AMOUNT TO BE REFUNDED - INR 22551

                            TICKET WAS BOOKED on 9th April. After a week i got a message that ticket got cancelled with out my knowledge. Subsequently when i was expecting the refund i got the refund of Rs. 102/- against my payment of Rs.6548/-. I was harassed, since Makemytrip has cancelled my ticket without even my knowledge and then i had to make an alternate arrangement for my travel with higher cost. Finally on refund they have swallowed the complete my by refunding only Rs.102/- May please look into the details and i would request a written explanation on this harassment. Best Regards, Partha

                              Makemytrip is cheating by taking payment and then confirming booking has failed. Refund would take 3-14 days and their service centre does not answer calls and keeps you waiting for nearly an hour. And then when you complete the online complaint form, you get a message “oops we are facing some difficulties”. But still nobody calls you even though they have a faulty system.
                              My question is all over the world online booking works like this. You go online and search for your flight schedule. When you find the right one, you select “book” and then you are informed that you have a temporary booking and now you can make your payment. You are then taken to a payment page and you enter your credit card or other information and your payment goes through and then subsequently you get your eticket. But the makemytrip system is this:
                              (1) you select the flight schedule and then select book
                              (2) you are taken to the payment page and you give your credit card information and your payment goes through
                              (3) then for some unknown reason, if you get a message that your booking is not confirmed and your payment will be refunded, then starts the nightmare
                              (4) you call up the number given online and nobody answers for over an hour.
                              (5) you call again and again and you go through the circle of options but nobody comes online.
                              (6) so you get frustrated and go to the complaints page. You complete all your details and select submit and lo and behold, you get the dreaded message “…oops we are facing some difficulties…” and your complaint does not go through.
                              This is the horror story about makemytrip. What are your options? Do you make another booking, again make a payment and hope your booking is successful? Can you take that chance? What if you get the same message? So, then how do you travel?
                              Has any government agency or law enforcement looked into this scam of makemytrip.com?

                              Here are my responses to your queries:

                              Booking ID: NF[protected]

                              - Email address used at the time of booking : [protected]@gmail.com.

                              I understand that you have many complaints similar to mine and MMT has no intention to change their system to fix the problem.

                              The facts still remain:

                              (1) Money was illegally taken out from my credit card account BEFORE my ticket was confirmed.

                              (2) A Refund was thereafter processed, but, it takes 3 to 14 days for the money to come back into my account. You are well aware about this delay in money going back into the customer's account and yet you have deliberately not introduced a system that prevents innocent money coming out from a customer's account BEFORE the ticket is confirmed.

                              (3) This is premeditated FRAUD by MMT intentionally taking money before providing the service.

                              (4) When such a big amount is taken from a customer's account, how do you expect the customer to make another booking with the risk of again loosing another big amount? Have you considered this obvious possibility?

                              (5) What happens when there is an emergency and a person has to travel on the dates booked through MMT and for which he has paid MMT but the booking is not confirmed by MMT but available from another source but he has no more money to pay the other source again as MMT has already taken his money illegally? I am sure the courts will give due cognizance to this grave anomaly in your system and will award sufficient punitive damages for the grave inconvenience, upset health and pain and suffering by the customer due to the mis-management by MMT.

                              In view of the above, I am seeking a fair compensation for the pain and suffering meted out to me by MMT.
                              Please do not delay the inevitable by sending me the same stereotype excuse template again and again which is more of a harassment and I do not accept.

                                On 2nd may 2015, I opened @Makemytrip to book a flight ticket. After the complete transaction @Makemytrip showed me a technical error page. Because o[censored]rgency, I booked the ticket 2 more times but the result was same i.e some technical error. After around 10-15 min, I got a message from my bank account regarding the deduction of money thrice, but there was no confirmation from @Makemytrip. Now whenever I called @Makemytrip there executives told me the amount will be refunded within 3 days or 7 days. No action has been taken yet. I am fed up of these people now looking for a justice.

                                  I was making a Ticket when my transaction failed on 20th April. I got a reference no NF[protected]. I called up make my trip and they said its a technical fault and I will get my money in 7 working days. Rs 8781/- was deducted from my bank. The same was not resolved. They asked my bank statement which I provided and again a confoirmation from bank that the money was paid to makemytrip was also provided. They confirmed me several dates for refunds but all in vain.                                     My Booking ID is : NR[protected] Refund Reference No :[protected] I had booked my rail tickets from Hyderabad to Chennai on 29th April 2015 (Amount Rs.4122) Unfortunately due to some technical error money got debited from my account and I got an email from MMT saying that the refund is initiated and will get refunded within 72 working hours and after 72 working hours the amount got credited was 1251??? I wonder where did my rest of the money go??? and after calling the so called customer care endlessly, I spoke to one hopeless agent Kaushal Vinayak who doesnt know to handle the customers and just reads the script (In this case I apologies for the inconvenience caused blah blah).I called the customer care team 4 times and in all the instance the reply I got from them was please wait for 72 working hours and its more than four 72 working hours and still the refund is pending which is really annoying...The service is very pathetic and if this doesn't get resolved this time I am taking you guys to the court. Please resolve this issue ASAP.

                                      I booked a domestic flight ticket from Chennai to kolkata through Makemytrip on 3rd Sep.2014, Travelling date was 4th april2015 of Spicejet airline, But spicejet has cancelled the flight and he given 100% refund due to "no show Flight".I also called to makemytrip for cancel the flight ticket on 31st march2015 and he calcelled my ticket and told that refund will we initiated within 4 days, But after 40 days amount not credited in my account.They are cheating with me, always telling within 4 days refund will be credit in your a/c.But not happend till now.There is no any follow system in makemytrip, they always telling lie..

                                      Thanks to consumer forum.Makemytrip has refunded my amount in A/c on 15th May 2015, It was consumer forum pressure, otherwise they continue cheating with me, I called Makemytrip atleast 30 times but their Refund department representative always told that within 4 days refund will be credited in ur a/c, but not happened.They try to making owl to me.Makemytrip has a complete army of liers.Once again thanks to Consumer forum.Thanks

                                        Dear Sir, I had made a booking through your Organization for the month of October 2014.This was the trip at Kashmir when it was completely flooded and all the travel companies had issued refund for the same as I had got the refund of my Air Tickets from GoAir. But I have been writing regular mails to you but there is no response as yet. I am suppose to get a Refund for Rs. 18500/- but they are keeping on delaying the matter and now they are saying that as it is too late, now we will not refund this amount. I am regular buyer from your a Portal and don't want to end up my relationship in a bad mode, but if you insist that I have no option but to file a complaint in Economic Offence Wing and File a Criminal Case against your Company and Mr. Deep Kalra (CEO) where I am ready to spend more than the money I am suppose to get back from you.
