I booked my flight from Delhi to Mumbai and return tickets on 30th June, 2014. An amount of Rs.6288/- was debited from my Kotak Credit card on 30th June, 2014 but no PNR no. was allotted to me. Besides, Make my trip of his own transferred my amount to their violete account and now it is more than 15 days I have been contacting MAKEMY TRIPS. Secondly as a result of debit of the said amount and not refunding me the debited amount, the KOTAK BANk has levied me a penalty of Rs.562/-, which in fact MAKE MY TRIPS has to refund me as the amount of Rs.6288/- has not been refunded to me so far. Thus, you are requested to refund me the amount of Rs.6288/-+Rs.562/- to my kotak credit card AT THE EARLIEST.

I got confirmation message about Delhi to Mumbai flight this is the details Ingo PNR is VYS1KQ-6E139 but not about Leh to Delhi so please let me know when will I get confirm ticket or when will I get my money back?

        For my booking ID IN1407B1S018017, I have been exobirantly charged of 3000 Rs than the website when I called the sales rep . When I followed up on Customer care - Sales rep Arnav is mentioned me that it is air fare fluctuations and it is not from his pocket he has charged ! that was very rude ! I booked it on 6 July for 15848, But even today 10 July the airline charges are 2000 lesser than what is charged by Sales person Arnav. I was forced to call customer care and book this on the call due to 3 failed bookings on the same day, This is not airline server issue but it is mistake from Sales rep but he is not accepting the mistake. I am disappointed with the customer support service and sales rep Arnav communication to resolve this query . I want the full refund of the amount which is exobirantly charged as it is ruining my vacation plan and a great disappointment. I want to cancel my plan due to this disappointment. Can you take it up with company and get me full refund for the caicellation of the ticket.

          I had made a booking for package flight+hotel through make my trip from Bangalore to vizag starting 29/06/14 to 04/07/14.My booking id is NP[protected] .29/06/14 night i arrived at visakapatnam and headed towards the hotel booked for me, the hotel name is 99Residency.On my arrival the hotel guys informed me that they don't accept any online booking neither they do any business with makemytrip.com, i was shocked beacuse i had spend 17, 100rs from the debit account and i am hardly left with cash to take care of my other expenses.This started around 9pm in the night, from 9pm to 1 AM, i was standing on the road and calling the makemytrip customer care .I could only listen to there recorded message.Around 1.30 AM i happened to speak with one of their customercare executive who told that they will check and call me back by 10.30 am next day, i asked about my accomdation for that night he didn't have any answer for it.I was travelling alone since am a guy and a lone traveller, i took care of myself at the middle of night.Imagine if the same thing had happened to a female or a family.What will they do . Next day after fighting with makemytrip from morning to evening, i finally got a below standard room.They had completely cheated me with this package.And my business trip also got ruinned.I need them to settle my bill which i had spend for 29/06/14 night stay in a hotel and same bill had been forwarded to Melanie.[protected]@makemytrip.com This kind of online booking agencies should be stopped or strict rules should be made against them by consumer court.visakapatnam is a city iam travelling for the first time and i dont know anyone over there.I was standing on the road till midnight 1.30am without any place to go.Who would be responsible if something would happen to me.I don't want the same thing to happen to any other person.So please impose strict rules on this agencies who put human life in such kind of trouble.           This is in reference to your complain, please note that we have validated your case with our concerned team and found that they have already offered you a refund of INR1000 plus INR500 voucher as a compensation. Based on the bills which you have submitted, we see that you have paid INR1922.80 on your own for the first night (excluding room service) and amount paid by you to us was INR963.00 per night, so the difference amount we are refunding is INR1000 plus voucher of INR500. Kindly note that we re-considered your case and the best we can do is to process cash refund of INR1500.00 on this booking.

          Please treat this as a final resolution on this case and we would request you to please give us your go ahead so that we can initiate this refund from our end.

          I had not received any refund as on date.More over i didnt ask you for any compensation for the loss and pain i suffered because of your firm.
          Atleast you have to refund the amount which i had spend from my hand because of your mistakes.

            Hi Sir/Madam, This is to bring to the information and knowledge of Make My Trip management, I was communicating with one of your employee from the holiday tour department name Ms. Poonam Singh for Turkey delight package from few weeks and she offered a package of AED 10697 for couple and child as attached file 1(till yesterday price on your web showing AED 3999/person), and had ask for discount and she manage to offer me AED 150 cash discount and AED 250 travel voucher and then informed her that I will renew the passport for my kid and waiting for additional discount to round up to AED 10, 000 . she has done her best to assist me. After the renewal of the passport I spoke to her and ask her to send the final offer with discounts but she surprise me with the different price offer (AED 12497)as attached in file 2. It would be okay and fair to me if she has inform or given validity of the quote which is not the case and I was under the impression that she will come up with better offer . The above is still not the case and something new I found from the team, I call your office and then other employee picked the call name Mr. Nitin and I was requesting him to transfer the call to Poonam to speak on the quote and he pretend or may be .. I don’t know, he said I am the manager and told the price offered to you is the final price and the way he was talking to me very rudely, impolite and un professional where I am very upset o see how a person can represent make my trip and keep the customer happy or at least satisfy with the services. And then you say your slogan Customer Satisfaction :Superior customer service, 24x7 Dedicated helpline and over 5 million delighted customers & still growing. The above is not to complaint against him but to bring to your attention and such things should not be repeated again .               I had Booked my vacation on make my trip and my trip commencement date was on 21st June 2014 from Bangalore. This was one of the worst experience that i have received from makemytrip. We were promised a half day city tour and airport transfer but when we arrived at Changi airport the so called tour managers said our names are not part of the list and thus they cannot give us airport transfer and we are cheated thoroughly with the half day trip. I have requested for a refund from the trip coordinator Deepak.[protected]@makemytrip.com but seems to be not working out. Hence I am lodging a complaint on this issue.

                dear sir or mam I booked my hotel booking from make my trip on 19th june, 2014. Booking ref # NH[protected]. company charge to my citi debit card for Rs.10800.00 twice. I did used my hotel booking once. I did complain few times to customer service of makemytrip.com to give me a credit to my citi debit card what they charged twice. They gave me complaint id #[protected]. I call company few times and complain by e-mail few times. I email my bank statement what I got on my mobile to them. I never get satisfactory reply from them. They don't listen my situation. I am traveling all over India now a days. so please help me to get my money back what they charged twice.                   Booking id: NF[protected] You people are testing my patience. It seems makemytrip Finance dept is managed by ! How the hell on earth you can't understand simple sum of mathematics. Dear, I request you to read my QUERY properly one last time I booked a ticket on 6th June from BANGALORE- KOCHI for 2 adults & 1 infant Cost me : 12590 INR I cancelled the ticket next day and the amount refunded to me is just 4412 INR ( 9th June) 287 INR. ( 27th June) I am attaching the letter sent by makemytrip on cancellation which states that refund amount to be 9900 INR I am attaching the my bank statement which credits only 4402 INR ( on 9th June, 3 days after cancellation) How on earth you charge 7901 INR cancellation ticket !!! And after 3 weeks wasting my time and testing my patience you are refunding mr 287 rupees more !!! I want my remaining 5221 rupees to be refunded at earliest. Dear sarfaraz this should not be the treatment to a GOLD MEMBER LIKE ME.

                    Worst Experience ever

                    Customer Service is a Joke for these guys. Due to a mis-communication with the agent- There is a 36 hour difference between my flight landing in India and the one that goes to my hometown. This is clearly a huge mistake so I needed to change the dates on my domestic flight and they say to me that the Airlines does not permit that. I called the Airlines (Jet Airways) and they advised that there are no such restrictions from them. I spend $...

                    This company is just giving false hopes..i advice everyone to scrutinize your itinery before going on to any trip as the employees arent much informed and this people will just keep confusing u till the end. I was on a trip to bali and they made it worse by shifting flight dates and other programs without informing me at all.i would request all to choose this agency wisely.

                      Makemytrip employee handling my booking provided me with departure date of 29th april though it was 28th april. He also used to reply to my mails too late and not to the point. He never told me about the right requirements of the VISA. And he never even told me that it was getting really late for VISA forms to fill or how to fill. And at last he did not give me any flight tickets or VISA even after departure date and now he is not replying. Is this how a customer is handled by makemytrip.com... I want a refund or at least another trip in exchange...

                        Hi,

                        I booked an air ticket from delhi to chennai on 11 june, 2014 with the booking ID IN1406B0S068260. Since I was not able to proceed with my transaction from the main page, a make my trip official called me and sent me a mail giving me the booking ID and telling me to do the transaction through the website's easypay page under the My bookings tab. Later after the transaction, the ticket was not generated and money had been debited from my account. Till date, there is no refund. I have been calling the customer care of makemytrip for the last 4-5 days ..every time i get their false assurance that they will get back within 6 hours..and forget 6 hours..i havent got any call for the last 6 days inspite of continuous inquiry ..

                        TRANSACTION was carried out through SBI netbanking for an amount of INR 12076 with the booking ID IN1406B0S068260..Please help me out ..

                          I have booked pakage from Makemytrip.com on June 13th and send our final payments on 17th June, after our payments they said will give us final confirmation voucher on 20th June first time then second time on 22nd evening, third time on 23rd morning...but till evening they didnt send any documents. THEY CUT our phone several time and never respond us properly. I think MakeMytrip is the the very worst service in terms of response in India. I dont recommend anybody to take service from Makemytrip.com ...THUMBS DOWN :(

                            Despite hanging onto the phone several times over the past 48 hours, the human machines, aka customer support agents have not been able to answer a simple question. How much do I have to pay to cancel the return leg of my trip and book a fresh one from Bangalore to Chennai. The reason for their inability to answer is that the booking was made from the US. In this day and age of the internet, does that seem like a valid reason not to answer this simple query? The journey date is tomorrow and I am still waiting on their promise to call me back. If only they honour their word! Time these guys change their name to Breakmytrip.com! I know for sure that I booked with these guys for the last time in my life.

                              I am writing this mail to express deep dissatisfaction with the recent holiday package by MakeMyTrip. This was one of the worst holidays I ever had. The team at MMT has been the worst travel organizers and I would never ever come back to this team in my life. We had multiple instances of bad experiences on the trip. • On Day-1, the cab which was scheduled to arrive at 7:30 AM, did not report till 9:30 AM even after multiple calls to the vendor who was very rude. • On the same day, we were informed that we could not travel to Lachen/Lachung by the vendor while all other guests in our hotels had confirmed trips. The next morning, we were communicated the same by the driver as well. However, when I walked down to the tourist office and called the vendor after confirming that the permits were being issues and travel was happening, he changed his stand and then sent a cab. This was totally unacceptable. • On Day-2, on reaching Lachen, we found there was no booking for us, the hotel was closed for repair and the owner said that they had no partnership with MMT. Moreover, this was a hotel with a tariff of Rs. 600 per night. How on Earth can MMT offer me such hotels in a 3-star package? I stood there calling your pathetic team for an hour but there was no help. It was freezing there in Lachen at below 10 degrees, I got cold and my family had a terrible day. We had to book our own hotel that night. I don't understand what kind of service MMT provides where the voucher said confirmed but we had to pay out of our pocket for a different hotel? • On Day-3, we reached Lachung, where the hotel was again pathetic. They had no room service and the food they served had flies/insects. • On all other days, we had problems with either the cab or the hotel. We kept paying out of our pocket to the driver because on multiple occasions they mentioned some or the other key tourist place as not being included in our package. We would never know because neither your team nor the vendor shared the list of places to be covered.

                                dear sir
                                i have given my booking to your representative Ms Shilpa Goel for my trip to Greece and turkey and my booking no IN1406B0S021320. After confirmation .
                                We have transferred the amount Rs292000 against the booking and visa.
                                We have given the list of visa documents and the same were submitted to you representative.
                                Further asked the documents so that hotel booking & visa formalities were also submitted on 17 &18 of June to your executive Mr Umesh Singh in your office at gorgon.
                                In the evening his reply was that he can not get visa for us, it was verbally.
                                And my documents were send back to me at my adress .
                                when i asked for the payment to be reversed to me they asked for deduction for hotel booking for RS 30000.00.
                                i asked for the voucher for booking and cancellation so i can approve .
                                it was on19th june.
                                till to day i have not received any mail or satisfactory answer for it.
                                sir when the hotels were not booked for us which was confirmed by mr umesh on 17th june then how come cancellation comes in picture.
                                since last 4 days no one responds from your office nither shilpa who took booking nor umesh who was working for visa.
                                it is surprised as company like yours deals with customers in such iresponsible manner then i do not want to say further.
                                we are your regular customers and if we get such response is a surprised to me.
                                may be i am a small customer but a small customer is equally important for organisation.
                                request pl look in the matter and get me refund of RS 292000.

                                  Make My Trip: Deficiency in Services I would like to share some of my unlimited memories We 4 ( Vinay Dixit along with son Varun Dixit & Friend Vishal Manot with his Son Yash Manot) booked a Thailand Trip through Make My Trip Booking ID IN1303B25550 Tour Code MT3004 We boarded the Thai flight TG314 from Kolkata to Bangkok on 30th April 2013 and landed at around 6.10 AM and after coming out of the airport, we met Miss Nina, who told us that we need to wait till 10 am since another couple would be coming down from Mumbai flight at 9 Am. We told her that it was mentioned that the pickup was at 8AM; she refused to change and made us wait till 10. We were given an itinerary for MT3004-B with P.N.R No: R[protected] on the ITC BANGKOK CO LTD 50/980 Moo 9 Bangpood, Pakkret, Nonthaburi 11120 Tel[protected] email [protected]@itcbangkok.com Finally 7 o[censored]s from Kolkata and two from Mumbai were transferred to Pattaya. The driver dropped us in front of hotel, kept our baggage out of the van and drove off without even being courteous enough to help us take it in. We checked in at 11.45 am at ALL SEASONS PATTAYA to find out we could not check-in till 2PM, we had to spend time in lobby for 2 hrs. There was no one to guide us or meet us. They asked a deposit of 1000 baht per room, to which we were willing to deposit 100 US Dollar but they refused. Finally we had to get it exchanged from outside and deposited in hotel. The hotel as per the make my trip itinerary was supposed to be 3 stars or equivalent, but it was not. We were in for a shock- the hotel is located in a narrow by lane- much away from any of the main tourist areas. The room did not have a tea Coffee maker and when I asked front desk I was informed that this facility is not available. The luggage boy kept on asking for the tip. Hotel did not even have the basic facilities making our stay and the entire trip more unpleasant and unbearable. We waited at the hotel for the pickup as mentioned at 5 pm for ALCAZAR SHOW but there was no one to pick us up, we could not call the local contact since we were not carrying the local sim, we left hotel at 530 and bought a local sim to call them up but by the time we were back the van had picked up Mr & Mrs Bhattacharjee at 545 for the Alcazar show and we were shown as No Show. We were asked to be ready by 730 for dinner, the pick-up van arrived at 8 along with a person called KP in a motorcycle who got us dropped at the dinner place, Mumbai Masti, on reaching the restaurant we found ourselves once again in trouble since three halls were occupied with dinner and we didnt knew where to have ours. We called up KP and made him talk to the manager/owner and finally had the dinner which was a very lousy one. After coming out we could not find the van and there after called up KP who asked us to take a local transport to reach hotel and the amount of 200 Baht would be reimbursed next day morning. We went to bed at 10 Pm and when on bed my friend Vishal found the body itching, stood up and found the bed having BED Bugs all over called up the reception that responded after an hour and showed them the Bed Bugs to which they immediately shifted us from the 714 room to 806. As a result we could not have a proper sleep. The Next day the pick-up van driver called us up in our room phone at 7.45 and asked us to be down by 8 or else he would leave. We somehow managed to get ourselves down without freshening up and found that the driver was going away we ran and managed ourselves to be in without having breakfast the driver was very rude and ruthless. He lacked in basic courtesy. He was not ready to listen to us; he only told us or did what was told him to by the travel agent. In a hurry we forgot to pick up shorts, towels etc for the coral tour, ending up with no activities. We had tried to call KP but he did not pick up the phone it kept on ringing at last we had to call Make My Trip Mr Sanjit Hazarika (Kolkata office, Senior Executive  Sales.) to inform him the kind of facilities we were getting, he passed on the line to some madam to whom once again we had to narrate the complete story at our cost, she said she would get back to us within 15 minutes with a solution which she didnt as expected. I informed my brother in Kolkata and he called them up and he was asked to shoot them a mail, which he did on 1st May 2013. Thereafter we were picked up for the ALCAZER SHOW by the ruthless driver and reached there to find Mr Jack the local agent who got us the cheap tickets for the show. After the show at 7.15 we were sent for dinner and once again there was no pick up van after the dinner, we called KP and had to wait for half an hour for the van. He was avoiding us simply because he had to pay us 200baht, he did not care to give us 200 baht, and we had to ask for it as if we were begging. He was the one to tell us the day before to take a taxi and he would pay us the fare. After the above instances we were all down at the lobby at 8.15 AM on the 3rd day, we had to wait till 9.45 AM for the pickup van to arrive. It seems as if time for us is not precious. If we are late by 5-10 minutes then the driver will leave us but if the driver is late then we will have to cooperate with him. Finally we left Pattaya with a bitter taste and on the way to Bangkok hotel they took us to gems and jewellery and WAT PHO where we met Ms Nina and Mr Tyron wearing the Make my Trip Jersey. We told him about our bad experience in Pattaya, and about the mail received from Anit Sarkar stating that Already advised the Tour Manager over there to take special care for the rest of the trip Request has been sent to provide better room to clients in Bangkok. Even then No special care was provided to us. The Hotel Howard Square Boutique was again a normal cheap hotel with no stars and far away from the Market place /Main town, Pratunam/MBK/Suan Lum etc the driver as usual left us outside the hotel. We were picked up from hotel for Dinner and the Van person took us to Asian Delight restaurant, as we picked up plates the owner/ manager came and asked us about the trip we were from after knowing he said that they do not have any booking for us. It was a mockery o[censored]s since every other person in the restaurant looked at us. The Driver spoke to someone and he took us to another hotel, Hotel Rasoi and immediately left us after dropping. Within 10 minutes Mrs Shyamali Bhattacharjee receives a message stating that we were not in Rasoi and the Driver has thus left us. I called up Tyron made him talk with the manager of the restaurant and informed him that we are already there he said that the van would reach by 9.30PM, Mr Uday Agarwal waited outside the hotel for the van while we had the dinner and drinks in Rasoi and paid for the Drinks. We called up Tyron to know about our pick up, he said that the driver waited for us for half an hour and left and now we need to go on our own. We all 7 people were in a swoop; neither were we carrying the hotel address nor the amount, while the local cabs could not understand the place Hotel Howard Square. We were around 15 mms away from the hotel in a foreign country and it seemed as if we are lost. Uday Agarwal, Mr & Mrs Bhattacharya and me along with my son tried to tell Tryon that no van was there but he was so adamant that at last we had to call up the tourist police. After receiving a call from them Tyron called up and informed us that the Rasoi people will be arranging the cab to send us back. On talking to my brother he informed me that Make My Trip (Mr Anit Sarkar) had given us a complimentary Safari World & Marine Park tour for tomorrow and to get in touch with the local agent. The local agent Mr Tyron refused saying that they do not have any such information. Mr Bhattarcharjee and Uday Agarwal was so much moved that they asked us to accompany them to lodge a complaint to Jaraounkung 101 RD, WATPRAYAKAI Police station Bangkok. We reached hotel to find that the cooling of room very poor with no fans, we lodged a complaint but nothing was done. We along with the kids were completely tired and somehow managed to sleep. Next, 4th Day we left for sightseeing & marketing and at around 11 Mr Tyron called up to let us know the complimentary vouchers he was having for 4 o[censored]s. He met us in Indira market and handed the same and included uday too since he was with us. But since half of the day had passed by and the next day we were to leave for Kolkata we were given Madame Tussauds and Siam Ocean world vouchers. In the night Mr Tyron was present at Rasoi Restaurant and waited for us and had us dropped in to our hotel. Fifth day we visited the above 2 places along with Mr Uday and Bhattacharjee and felt very bad since Mr And Mrs Bhattacharjee kept waiting outside. We reached hotel to find the Airport Van waiting outside, since we had bought TV the driver asked us to pay 100 Baht/TV. We called up Tyron but he said that yes we need to pay for it but we were not told anything as such nor anything related to this was mentioned in the itinerary or any other document given to us. Overall, the agent, drivers were rude, ruthless, disrespectful to our entire group and not at all understanding plus the local agents there were only interested in filling their pockets by trying to sell us local sim cards, changing currency and vouchers for safari world etc. etc. We had to shell out extra amount from our pocket and see the places. Being in a foreign country I think every moment was precious, time shouldnt be wasted but because of the drivers and agents a lot of worthy time was wasted. The so called Indian Food offered there was equivalent to a langar service in a gurudwara. You state in your package Indian meals at Indian restaurant. However go with the notion that these restaurants are like a big hall where buffet meals of sub-average quality is kept. We preferred having food at our cost instead of having meals provided by you. We had lunch in Pattaya which was exceptionally well cooked, and same we did in Bangkok. But according to your agents the Indian meals provided were at the best restaurants of the city. They simply want to save money by providing food at cheap places. According to me Meals can be very easily skipped as they are a sheer wastage of our limited time and are not worth eating. We would be happier eating a burger. Things were un-organized, there was plenty of miscommunication, agents went missing, and hence the entire tour could be summarized as a complete disaster. Make my trip people talk very sweetly to trap us in the deal, once they get payment, make my trip" does even bother to care and respond to their customers. Worst after payment service I have seen in my life. Their vendors in Thailand are some low class thugs running tours and travels locally, their service level is so bad, even if monkeys were given a chance would provide better service than their local vendors. They shout at you as though they are doing us a charity act, given a chance they will get physical also. If you cannot hire proper trained guides, you should not conduct the tour. As your commercials say 100% satisfaction or money back I would seriously like you to return the money. & compensate my loss. Add to it the harassment which I have been subjected to because of such inefficient and bad service and this has turned out to be a nightmarish experience. It says make my trip  memories unlimited yes, I have got unlimited bad and unforgettable memories. The trip was not even half its value. I trusted a company, who proclaims to be the best, but the experience was horrible. I simply wasted my money and time by booking the tour by MAKE MY TRIP. I WOULD NEVER EVER INVEST MY MONEY INTO MAKE MY TRIP PACKAGES AND WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND MAKE MY TRIP TO MY FRIENDS AND ACQUAINTANCES. Looking towards a positive approach Vinay Dixit

                                    I had purchased E-Ticket from Makemy trip.com, which is attached. It was for my son who was travelling abroad for the first time from Delhi.
                                    DELHI –SINGAPORE- JAKARTA- 26TH May 2014
                                    JAKARTA-SINGAPORE-DELHI – 21st and 22nd June 2014
                                    Since there is no direct flight between India and Indonesia, it has to be a change over.
                                    His onward journey was smooth. However, it was a nightmare at the very beginning of return journey.
                                    The ticket states that he will travel by Jet Airways 9W-4106, flight operarted by Jet Airways from Jakarta to Singapore and by 9W-19 from Singapore to Delhi.
                                    Actually, it is a code sharing arrangement between Jet and Garuda Indonesia. Since, the corresponding Garuda Flight number was not mentioned in the ticket, Garuda counters at Jakarta Airport refused to honour the reservation. They would not even check the corresponding flight manifest to see the name of the passenger.
                                    After running around for nearly one hour, I could get hold of a senior Garuda Executive who was kind enough to listen to the problem and helped in getting the boarding pass just less than 30 minutes to departure. There was one more lady passenger in the same predicament.
                                    All the tension in a foreign airport was due to carelessness /mischief of Makemytrip. They are mentioning the Garuda flight number in the onward journey part whereas in the return flight part it is missing. This was not only in the ticket I had purchased, it was the same story in the ticket of the other lady passenger from Mumbai.
                                    I want to know what is the motive behind this mischief by Makemytrip.
                                    It is audacious to state that 9W-4106 operated by Jet Airways when Jet doesnot fly to Indonesia.

                                      I booked a bus ticket for Lucknow to Delhi, the travel date of journey being 15th of May, 2014. When I reached the boarding point, the ticket was cancelled ( without any prior intimation) because of which I missed an important meeting the very next day. Since then till today I.e upto 21st June, 2014, I've called them for 6 times asking for a refund and every time I call them the response that I get is "will revert you back in 24 hours" and I do not get any response further.

                                      Does it take such a reputed company to refund INR 1300 for a cancellation??
