I was cancelled booking of 1 passenger out of 3 on 06/06/2016 and refund amount of rs. 500/- credited to my wallet account. I am trying to withdraw the said amount from my wallet but unable to transfer to my bank account. I have tried so many times and also i have contacted to customer care 10-15 times about the same. But nobody giving proper help.

Can you tell me why the refund amount not transferring to my bank account? This is not a bonus amount. It is a booking cancellation amount.

I request you to look into to the matter & arrange to transfer the refund amount from my wallet account.

    Hotel manickam grand at chennai unsealed water bottle, fraud hotel, bad rooms, mmt showing different pictures, they providing different stinking room, very bad construction. Please refund my money which i paid for this pathetic hotel, and mmt also please click recent pictures of this hotel, you showing us good room bt it's not at all. Old construction.

      Dear Sir, We, me and my wife are regular traveler and use to travel in India and abroad through package tours or by alone. At the same time are are loyal customer of MMT and associated with MMT from 7 years. Recently we have booked a package from a famous travel agency Make My Trip to Leh and Ladakh. We have booked this packed on the month of 24th May 2016 and paid full amount on 11 Jun 2016. On 18 Jun 2016 I come to know that my wife has conceived and doctor advised us not to travel specially in hilly region. I called immediately on 18th Jun and informed about the issue and asked for change of travel location or refund. Initially they have not replied but after continuous follow up they have replied but they are not ready to refund anything. They told they do not have any policy of refund in case of any Pregnancy Emergencies. But the fact is till now they have not provided us any air ticket confirmation or any hotel confirmation. As per them they can provide only 2 days prior to travel. So my questions are:
      1. Even-though i have informed about the refund on 18th Jun 2016 why MMT is not considering 15 days prior cancellation.
      2. AS this is genuine emergency case, i have paid full amount 11 Jun, where as i come to know about pregnancy on 18th Jun why MMT is not considering the case of refund.
      3. I requested for alternate locations also, as Ladakh is hilly region and high chances of miscarriage of pregnancy. But no one of MMT is ready to listen.
      4. I am a loyal customer and future also want to associate with MMT but still they are overhearing customer voice.

        I had cancelled this booking on 8th of June'2016 and have not heard back from Make My Trip till date. Three times I've called them to ask the status and every time what I hear is that it will take 36 hours / 72 Hours and the like. They have not given me a concrete information till date.

        Turn around time to refund the money is of 6 days of which 3 days are taken by MMT and 3 by the Bank to refund but its been much more than that in this case and still no information on status of refund.

        If that's the kind and level of service that's being provided than a disclaimer should also be added to the website that POOR SERVICE GUARANTEED.

        I am not sure on where to follow and whom to escalate this matter because MMT doesn't seems to be bothered about the issue and the dissatisfied customers. There should be an authority placed to look into such issues so that matters like these can be highlighted and Company like MMT can have a control on what's happening inside. Such was not expected. I should definitely socialize the issue and should refrain all my known and acquainted ones from using this Website for any of the service looking at the experience.

          Ref. Booking id in1606b3s848717, please find below the chain of events:
          1. Package to leh booked through mmt executive sushank sharma and advance payment made. Post payment of advance, we found that the package had a total lesser than what was shared as the room was on triple sharing basis. We ran from pillar to post to resolve this small issue. Sushank sharma appointed his deputies and seniors to pacify us and then after much deliberation it was changed to two rooms, one on single sharing and other on double sharing with revised total.
          2. Full payment was made by us as soon as we got the revised payment link. Please note all this time we were promised a decent hotel by the name of ladakh himalayan retreat.
          4. Three days before the departure date, we get no information on our tickets and zero communication from mmt team.
          5. Two days before departure i. E. Yesterday, i call up and then again after much deliberation, we received our travel details but this time the hotel was changed to a lousy b&b/inn by the name of wisdom retreat.
          I have personally talked to sushank sharma today and have given an ultimatum to him that either we should be refunded the full amount paid to mmt and nothing more because the fault is of mmt which hired ridiculously stupid and lousy fellows like mr sharma and led to this situation or
          We will be very happy to atleast get the hotel stay in which it was earlier promised.

          Please treat this as a very humble request else i will be forced to approach the law to bring justice to our case. Let me know the solution asap.

          Also, i tried twice to lodge a complaint at mmt website but i got a sorry as usual from mmt then also. I now sincerely believe mmt should replace their brand tagline as just sorry for the inconvenience.

          Also, everything is recorded in emails so no worries about that.

            Received a message from MMT on 21.05.2016 "Cashback of Rs 1200 for Makemytrip booking ID NF[protected] with RRN No.[protected] has been processed."

            It was a round trip flight from Ahmedabad to chennai on 04.06.2016 and return on 19.06.2016.

            But, no cashback received as on today.

            There has been no further communication from Makemytrip on this issue after 21.05.16. I would like to know the status of the cashback. Whom to approach?

              Hi,

              Ref: nf[protected]

              I have booked a ticket (Travel date 1 july 2016) and payment was deducted but i did not received the ticket.

              Once the payment was made to mmt, i have then planned the entire trip involving costs around 25, 000.

              After sometime i receive the msg that my amount will be refunded.

              I don't need the refund, i need the tickettt... It is not my fault that you were unable to provide the tickets even after deducting the amount.

                I tried to book flight ticket on 2.6.16, but transaction was unsuccessful but my account debited. Later i successfully booked for same travel plan. I enquired customer care for refund, each time i will get a new answer. Surprisingly today i was informed that amount already revert back on 2.6.16 only and instructed to check my bank account. Their website never works for lodging complaints. Please resolve the issue at earliest.

                  Please refer my complaint dated may 24 2016 to your belapur office to mr. Zaid patankar

                  I had booked your tour in february for my travel from may 14th to may 21st. From your belapur office representative mr. Zaid patankar.

                  1) on 14th i had travelled to chandigarh and assembled at pinjore gardens
                  For my pick up at 2.00 pm. But your guide came only at 4.30 pm alongwith
                  The bus from delhi and the bus left only at 5.30 pm. All the other
                  Tourist got a pick up from delhi airport or chandigarh airport and a few of
                  Them too were on customised tour just like me, but i had to make my own
                  Arrangement from chandigarh airport to pinjore gardens which cost me around
                  Rs.900.00. I paid a total cost of rs.46, 000/- for my tour but the other
                  Tourist in the group paid not more than 38, 000.00. You are therefore
                  Requested to refund me the amount of rs.900.00 i paid for my travel from
                  Chandigarh airport to pinjore garden.

                  2) hotel himdev at shimla was not at all upto the mark. It seems it is a
                  Grade 1 hotel. It was not clean, the carpet was smelling. The food was so
                  Bad, that all o[censored]s had a stomach upset. Believe me all o[censored]s. How do you
                  Expect us to enjoy our holiday with a stomach upset. The next day of our
                  Tay my family had to eat biscuits and fruits only.

                  3) the hotel at manali was excellent - food as well as stay - too good.

                  4) at manali we visited the rohtang pass.In your itineary it was
                  Clearly mentioned that the dress and boots were paid by you and had to be
                  Returned. But your guide mr. Shadab, refused to pay for it saying that he
                  Was not told by make my trip.In fact in everybody"s itineary it was
                  Mentioned that the dress and boots will be paid by you. I paid a total of
                  Rs.300/- each for the dress and rs.50/- for the boot, which means i paid
                  Rs.1.050.00 for 3 passengers. Mr. Shahdab told us all to take a refund from
                  Make my trip. You are therefore requested to refund me the amount of
                  Rs.1, 050.00 paid by me.

                  5) your itineary mentioned one water bottle per person per day, but the
                  First day no water was provided. Next day after asking mr. Sahadab several
                  Times he provided water bottle. As a result many a times, we had to buy our
                  Own water.

                  6) for my site seeing in delhi, one day earlier the car provider called me
                  Up in the evening and said that he will only drop me to delhi, and i have
                  To arrange my own siteseeing. You can imagine my fear and annoyance when i
                  Am in a new place and i have just half a day for site seeing, and telling
                  Me at the last minute to may my own arrangement. Is this expected from a
                  Reputed travel agency like yours. I then had to make number of calls to
                  Your office. Even the name and place of the hotel where i was supposed to
                  Tay in delhi was not provided to me and the car provider kept asking me
                  Where i am supposed to be dropped. I had asked your office to atleast send
                  Me a mail as to where i was supposed to stay, but i didnt receive any mail
                  From your end.

                  7) the hotel at delhi - hotel hill palace was again a 2 star hotel. The
                  Room was so small that when a 3rd bed was put there was no place to walk.
                  The bed covers seem used. The a/c was not functioning properly. The food
                  Provided was only veg.

                  I am very much dis-satisfied with the tour provided by you. I have always
                  Been travelling by ramakrishna tours and travels and have never faced any
                  Problem. Everything was so clearly mentioned and was very satisfied with
                  Their services. Since i heard from my colleagues in the office that make
                  My trip is very good, i wanted to give it a try, but sorry to say this is
                  The worst experience i have faced. I will never advise any of my friends
                  To travel through make my trip. You will receive the same feedback from
                  The other travellers in our group.

                  I have made numerous calls to zaid, but there is no positive reply from him, he keeps saying that he has not received reply from your office.

                  The least i expect from you is to refund atleast what i have paid extra.

                  Please refer my complaint dated May 24 2016 to your Belapur office to Mr.Zaid Patankar

                    I have booked a room for 2 adults in Harmony sentimental hotel Shimla on 13th June through make my trip with booking id NH[protected] for check in on 18th June & make my trip people confirmed the booking, but when I was reached there on 18th june hotel manager said no booking is confirmed on my name, then I started approaching make my trip people at 9:00pm & after so many calls, team provided me a hotel named Shimla view which was 5 kms far from the previous one, which was terrible n full of insects, but as it was already 12:00 am so I don't have other options, I took photos also which I will share.
                    And make my trip people send a voucher to my mail I'd in which it was written that total 4200 rs you are going to pay to that hotel, when I checked that hotels terrif I found its actually 1800 rs room against 4200 rs which was mentioned by them. And next day also when I was checking out from hotel Shimla view he was asking me money cause he didn't received any confirmation voucher from make my trip side so again 1 hrs chat started with them.
                    I just surprised by chain of frauds they made with me.
                    My one day leave cost around 4000 rs, my cars diesel cost around 5000 n my total trip cost around 20000 rs all spoiled by them.

                      This is in regards to booking id in1603b0s268787. Which was making in the name of mr. Mohan lal mittal on 07.04.16 for 12.04.16 through "make my trip, in this connection, we paid the amount rs.6151/- but, we get the invoice with rs. 4077/- only,

                      For correcting invoice, we request to make my trip executive so many time and write a mail to them but, nobody takes it on urgent basis. They all give false assurance.
                      But, still not getting the proper response and corrective invoice, you are requested kindly provide the invoice with rs. 6151/- otherwise they will responsible for refunding the difference between 6151/- & 4077.

                      Please take it on the priority basis. Because it is already getting a delay.

                        We booked a hotel at shimla with booking id-nh[protected] on 13th june but when we reached hotel at 8:30pm hotelier refused that they dont have booking but we have recieved a confirmation frm mmt they put us on hold till 12:30am till night with our family members on the shimla roads. They just upset us mentally as well as physically then at 12:30am they book a hotel which was having incects in room and bed was so dirty that we were not able to sleep all night. I m going to register a complaint against mmt on consumer forum. They just ruined our trip

                        This is nothing new from MMT.
                        In December last year we travelled from Muscat to the Golden Triangle. Flight arrived in Delhi at 3:30 am.
                        Reached Hotel before 5:30 am only to be told that check-in time was after 2:00 PM.
                        We ended up spending six hours in the Lobby in the Freezing cold. It was below 5 degrees !!
                        The Driver arranged by MMT for the entire trip was of no assistance either.. he suggested we make use of the time by doing some "Sight Seeing "
                        Trying to get hold of MMT customer service was impossible too.
                        and If you are reading this beware of the " Request a call back" they will not put down the phone until the booking is complete...
                        And try getting back to them for clarity :(((

If in case refund is still not reflecting, request you to please share your bank statement in PDF format since 25-May-16 to till date. We will validate this with your bank at our end.

                            Cancellation charge

                            I was booking bus ticket from kalyan to pune for morning time, but by mistake I booked for evening. Later I cancelled and make my trip deducted 60% amount.
                            Again I booked ticket for morning time and
                            after 1 hrs I received call from make my trip that bus has been cancelled and you will get refund.
                            This is very unfair, when I cancelled ticket they deducted 60% amount and when they cancelled bus no panelty on them.

                            I am Iqbal Akhter. I made two different room bookings at hotel Milan International through MMT on 29-05-16 foe 31-01-16. One for myself and one for mt friend and guest who was arriving from another city.
                            Rooms were not as explained on MMT website. Baisc fcilities were missing which were promised on the MMT website. Hotel denied to answer for our demand and asked us to talk to MMT. We went in to the rooms saw the conditions (Broken wall plasters, broken electrical boards, no charging points for mobile and laptops, missing iron board, missing iron machine, missing refrigerator, no complementary water) and we decided not to stay and came back to the counter and left the counter before 01:00 pm.
                            I demanded from MMT to refund my booking amounts fro the two rooms and remove hotel Milan International from their registration as this hotel is a fraud.

                              As committed, there is no action taken place yet.

                              Also wants to share my exprience with the make my trip was not good.

                              In the begining of the tour, when we reached the srilanka airport, there is no person standing out for pick up and no call from that person anytime. We waited there for 30 min at airport also. After facing so many difficulties we managed to contact that person.

                              Next most important problem faced was regarding the food, as already informed about as we are the pure vegeterian. Even we did not get any variety in veg category in any of the hotel.

                              Location of the hotel is not appropriate. There is no such place and no market to visit nearby.

                              The sight seeings points are very less covered. One day exclusively waste for journey from kandy to bentota.

                              Due to unfavorable weather we did not cover so many places properly which was mentioned in package. Overall package charged was not up to the mark with the tour expected. For any further clarification related to tour, contact the person of apple holidays. We request you to refund the atleast 30% of the package amount in our Bank account.

                              Kindly do the action on urgent basis.

                                I, made a hotel booking through make my trip mobile app with booking id nh[protected].

                                I have amended my check in date from 14th of june 2016 to 19th of june 2016. The amendment was done by suprio halder, customer care executive of mmt. I also received the amended voucher for the same which i have forwarded along with this email.
                                Now i would like to cancel this booking as due to unexpected personal difficulties, i am unable to proceed with my stay on the date of booking.

                                In this regard i have been talking to at least three of your customer care executives from 16th of june 2016, including yourself.In spite of putting my call on hold for more than 30 minutes to check the details, i was not provided the support to do the cancellation which was the actual reason why i made the call to mmt.

                                1. My amended voucher clearly states that i can do the cancellation with full refund before 48 hrs of check in time.

                                2. The cancellation policy holds good for full refund till 48 hrs of the check in time, and as per the email it is before 12pm of 17th june 2016.

                                3. No where in the email, it is mentioned that i cannot cancel an amended booking or i was not told by the customer care executive who amended my booking date that such a rule exists. If any such a rule exists, either in my mmt app or in the amended email confirmation voucher i should have been informed.

                                4. You were saying its an auto generated email, but every email sent from mmt is auto generated after we book or amend it with clear instructions regarding booking details, payment and cancellation policy. We take the mail received as the confirmation.In my case then i believe i am eligible for free cancellation with full refund for my booking.

                                5. I believe as a customer of mmt, this email should be acknowledged understanding the genuine nature of the problem and give me the right to get a full refund for the cancellation and refunded to my wallet.

                                6. I have thoroughly read the cancellation policy in the email sent to me, also the cancellation policy in the website and no where there is any information to the customer stating that amended booking cannot be cancelled.In all means, and by abiding all the terms and conditions stated by mmt, i am eligible for full refund with free cancellation.

                                  I am a victim/sufferer of makemytrip.com (Mmt). I tried booking my flight on mmt's web portal on june 13, 2016 late evening.
                                  Flight sector (Bangalore and delhi), initially due to some technical problems i was not able to proceed with the bookings but within few minutes i was able to book the flights.
                                  Post completion of booking i saw the summary of flight details on their portal and there was a issue with the dates, as i correctly remember i entered the correct dates i. E. (Bangalore to delhi (Aug 11) and delhi to bangalore (Aug 29); paid rs6910/-)
                                  But in the summary it was reversed (Bangalore to delhi (29th aug) and delhi to bangalore (11th aug).

                                  I immediately within 5 mins called up mmt's customer executive and requested them for support in this matter and told about the incident.
                                  They told me that it has happened because i entered wrong dates while booking and nothing can be done about this from their end, only air vistara (Carrier) can help me out.

                                  Now my call was transfered to air vistara, when i spoke with them they told me as my ticket hasn't been generated yet their are possible solution to this problem with the help of mmt and amadeus (Mediator for carrier and mmt).

                                  I again called back to mmt service center for support, this time they simply refused to co-operate, though i tried explaining the problem along with the solution, but they told this is my fault
                                  And only was is to cancel the tickets or go for a date change.

                                  I requested the executives to forward my call to their manager but no one was available at that time to support; requested them to arrange a call with their supervisor at the earliest.

                                  And while i was talking to customer executives my ticket got generated. So, whatever chances i had got worse. Mmt executive told me better would be for me to go for a date change at the earliest as flight charges increase with each passing day.

                                  Fyi, any cancellation or date change done on mmt leads to heavy charges, roughly 60% of initial bookings.

                                  Well, i followed on that and tried for date change on their portal again there was some technical issues while changing the dates but this time reverified my bookings 3 to 4 times before proceeding to transactions.
                                  Now my flight booking dates were changed successfully in the summary post payments (Rs2223 and rs.2301 respectively).

                                  Next day, i received my flight tickets.

                                  Real pain started now, i was shocked to see that on the ticket delhi to bangalore fight details were correct (Delhi to bangalore - aug 29) with correct carrier (During date change i changed flight carrier as well - airasia for round trip) but
                                  For bangalore to delhi their were no change it was the same date and same carrier.

                                  I immediately called up mmt customer service and told them to check what went wrong, to my shock they told tickets are correct, that is what i had booked on their web portal. I request them to arrange a call with their supervisor
                                  After this incident i realised that their is for sure some problem with mmt's web portal and due to which i had to pay rs.4524/- extra for date change.

                                  Roughly around second half of june 14 i recieved a call from mmt senior executive, i again told him about this whole painful incident.
                                  He also came back to me and told that booking is correct from their end and details recieved by me are same as which i entered in their website.
                                  After telling him about date change and payment of rs.2223/- i received same ticket as before then
                                  He took his time and came back told me that "their was a techinical issue with their website, due to which my bangalore to delhi ticket was not booked".

                                  Meaning: their was some technical fault in their portal because of which i had to pay up again and still i hadn't received a correct flight bookings.

                                  After lots of discussion, he told me new tickets are available for 11th aug bangalore to delhi but fare has gone up and i will have to make more payment roughly around 1500/- to get new tickets.
                                  I simply refused as this time they accepted the mistake and i was not going to go through same financial loss as before, i received a confirmation that i will receive the tickets within 6 hours; nothing recieved even after 12 hours.

                                  I called up again to makemytrip.com customer service had to go through same explaining process all over again, still they were not convinced, requested them for verification of my previous conversations after all that they told me
                                  Again their was a mistake at their end in sending mail to their other booking team, in which they has mentioned some two timings for the flight thus created confusion.

                                  Next thing i was doing was explaining about the financial difference and requesting to book my flight at the earliest.

                                  Atlast i recieved booking details with correct dates, but again their was same carrier i. E. Air vistara though while date change i booked for airasia and even on phone also i requested for airasia but no one followed.

                                  Requested for a refund of my rs.4524/- but they refused as they are still not agreeing that for my first booking their was some technical problem.


                                  Long story short:
                                  1. Makemytrip.com website/tool had technical fault, thus initial bookings went wrong, they didn't accept it.
                                  2. Date changed booking went wrong, had to pay extra; initially here as well refused to accept their fault but later accepted that their was some techincal issue with their website.
                                  3. After struggling for 3 days received correct tickets, which again didn't had my requested carrier but now i didn't have any more strength fight over that.

                                  I was a regular makemytrip.com customer but now i will never ever book any flight / hotel / trip from their website.

                                  I just want my refund for rs.4524/- ; though the mental torture i went through was a greater loss.

                                    I have a concern on the flight timings because in given flight times package is not for 6 N 7Days. It's eventually becoming 6 night 5 days ‎ tour

                                    The flight timing from Delhi is 2:40PM and arrival at Paro at 5:40PM and then further travel to Thimphu by 9 PM, means days is gone. Where as as per the package 18th th travel date is assigned for Thimphu stay..what will one can do except go for sleep.. from Paro flight time is 7:30 AM in morning that means I have to reach at Airport by 5 AM and for that I need to check out by 4 AM it means 24th June is not at all in our hand. Where as in 7 day start from 18 to 24th June. It's cheating to customer because I have been provided the hotel and Flight details after 100 % payement. If this could have explained earlier I would have not taken this package.

                                      I booked 4 rooms of "Hotel Sunshine" in Chail from your app.On reaching Chail all the way from Delhi on 21st at the hotel we were told by the hotel that they have only three rooms and cannot do anything about it.we were placed on numerous calls with MakeMytrip Custome care and Hotel owner and finally after a lot of discussions and request from hotel management we agreed to manage with three rooms provided we get refund on one room.

                                      We have called your customer care several times and every time we were told that your amount will get refunded in 7 working days and the refund amount comes to Rs2030.

                                      Finally after 20 odd days, when i wrote on Facebook, they initiated my refund but just of Rs101. Really that pissed me off as i paid 4899 for two rooms and if one room is cancelled i am entitled to get 2499 Rs.
