For my ticket booking id nn[protected] a convenience charge of rs. 1300 is charged.

I noticed this after paying for the ticket. The normal convenience charge is around 200-300 for each passenger. I don't understand how come its double the amount on make my trip. Its simply ripping off the customers.

You show ticket amount of 75000 and then charge 1300 convenience charge and it goes to 77, 000. Clear trip jet airways & eaze my trip have better booking deals then you with just 600 convenience charge and final amount amounting to 76, 000.

I don't understand what is the logic of charging so much convenience charge for these tickets in particular.

I am never going to book any thickets form make my trip again. As its is so misleading and has unreasonable high convenience charges. Its best to stick to eaze my trip or clear trip.

It was a very bad experience to say the least.

    Make my trip trip adviser are cheaters.
    They do not have seance to talk to the customers, we missed our flight and they do not have supported and guided us, we were helpless and seeking their support but they switched off her phone and after some time get my number placed in auto rejection.

    I would strongly recommend to not to take package from Make My Trip.

      I had booked a ticket from Ahmedabad to Toronto and cancelled it. I received the confirmation of cancellation and confirmation of refund. The email stated that they have initiated the refund on 22nd February 2016. I have not received the amount till date. I have contacted them so many times. Even escalated the complaint to the management level. I was dealing with Kajal Devi last week and she promised me to get back to me by Monday. I have asked them if they have any update for my refund as it is 4 months now. The amount is not small. It is 30909 INR. I am not getting response from make my trip and I am still waiting for my money to be refunded to me after 4 months.

        I have booked delhi - mumbai and vice versa flights from mmt on may 17, 2016. I have been charged twice for single ticket and payment was successful (As confirmed by axis bank over mail). Mmt has sms me 2 reference numbers as well i. E. Nf[protected]p01 (Payment failed as confirmed by mmt over sms) and nf[protected]p2 which was successful. I request you to kindly look in matter. I have already complained in customer care of axis bank and mmt along with nodal officer of axis bank. Kindly help me in this financial fraud.

          I had booked a family vacation package to kashmir with makemytrip - booking id is : in1601b8s270362 - from 14th may to 21st may 2016.
          I faced following issues.
          1. First day pick up - 0n 14th may 2016, from katra railway staton was not done as per the itinerary. I was left stranded in the katra railway station with family and i had to take my own cab to check-in to hotel and thereafter to get dropped at the helipad for the vaishnodevi darshan. I tried reaching tollfree and all numbers that was available with me, not able to reach anyone and response was poor. I lost around rs.1000 for this, more than money it is the agony and waste of time where the entire family had to skip lunch to catch the helicopter on time for darshan due to this.
          2. Last day of travel the itinerary given to me by mmt was as follows.

          Spicejet
          Sg - 127
          Departure srinagar (Sxr) sat, 21 may 2016 14:15 hrs
          Arrival delhi (Del) sat, 21 may 2016 17:10 hrs

          But when i was trying to do web checkin for the same on 20th may evening, i found that this flight has been rescheduled (Delayed) by 1:50 minutes to 4:05 p. M ist, which was impacting my connecting flight from del-blr with indigo.

          I tried contacting mmt again, no use at all, no proper response, so i contacted spice jet directly to see if i can take an earlier spicejet flight.
          I then understood that spicejet had indicated via mail formally to mmt on 18th april itself on this flight getting rescheduled and mmt had goofed up not intimating me on this.

          Spice jet asked rs38k for my rescheduling of the flight, and i was shocked on how to reach del next day.
          I then had to book another fresh tickets with indigo and spend 20k more to align my flight from sxr-del to myt del-blr flight later in the day.

          Then after 20 to 30 calls to mmt, i was able to connect up with one mr. August of flight booking dept, and he apologized for both the goofups and promised me cancellation of the spice jet flight and refund of whatever would be as per flight company rules on cancellation.

          Till now i have not heard anything on if this si done and no response.

          I want an immediate response/resolution on the following:
          1. Why should i pay the extra 20k for booking new ticket, when the goo[censored]p was done my mmt and for no fault of mine...
          2. I want complete refund of this 20k back along with the rs.1000 that i had to pay for the cab from katra railway station, which is again goo[censored]p of mmt.

          There is no way on escalation mechanism/contacts wi nnt website for registering complaint and be rest assured of a response.

          Hope this will be seen by mmt management and responded to.. With urgency.

          I am pretty disappointed with service of mmt and will never recommend to anyone if my problem is not resolved properly.

            I got an email from Make my trip on May 13, 2016 regarding a holiday package for For Bali 7 days at Rs. 39, 900 ( discounted price) . I enquired on the same day saying that I am interested, please send me more details. I got an automated email from them saying that the team is working on the same.

            After repeated follow ups I still havnt received the said reply. Turns out there is no such package that offers a Bali holiday for Rs. 39, 900 .

            Thereby Make my trip is indulging in false and misleading advertisement which is an unethical practice.

            Strict action needs to be taken against them .

            Still no response, this company is into the business of deceiving customers!

            I'm facing another cheating and harassment case from one of my existing holiday package.

            even once you finalise your booking and pay the initial amount, they keep increasing the package price by saying flights have increased, new tax from government etc. All these things are not disclosed at the time of giving package price and details. And then they do not refund your initial amount even if you cancel 2 -3 months in advance.

            One such inefficient executive from make my trip is Vibha Hegde.

            Think twice before booking any holiday package, unless you want to lose your money and be harassed and deceived

              MAKEMYTRIP is wonderful in it's financial business where customers enjoyed proper service of MMT helpful and thankful to them. But now a days no discounts or coupons are entertaining. Main problem is with software engineers server side responsive engineers are not concentrating well on MMT website slow in response. May be IPL is disturbing them. No, from many months i am facing it may be t20 world cup. Sometimes it may take days to open MMT website. Busy server of MMT unable to open it due to hitting many customers at same time end users are really hesitate with this slow website my ACT fibernet speed is so well to handle speed but every website is opening instantly but not MMT website. It's not my personal intention i just tested it as enduser it's many times fail to open even in mobile app's. Please MMT concentrate your Business otherwise you will stand behind some other applications. MMT is totally depend on it's life under software engineer's. MMT you are the best. But please make your website well responsive and it's damn slow and worst some times to open website before booking your ticket's. Ticket buyers won't have time to wait for your slow website's. Your good decisions made MMT.

                I am really really disappointed by the service of make my trip. If they think that customers are fool let me tell them that they are really going on a wrong way make my trip. I have booked my tickets for my journey to varanasi yesterday via maheshwaram travels which was sheduled by 9 pm, the booking id is nu[protected].                 Please note, my id : in1604b1s458089 tour package booked for malaysia & singapore and journey date 22 may 2016.
                Our passports were with the make my trip visa agent and he promised to deliver it at the airport, on reaching airport we could not locate him neither of his phone found working, we had to return back to a hotel. Our passports are still with the visa agent.
                We want all our money to be refunded as well as our passports as soon as possible. Or else we are going to lodge a complaint in the police station.
                Fault is totally on account of make my trip agency. We even asked the visa agent to courier to our place our passports but he said time is less and afraid courier will get delay.

                  Dear sir/madam,
                  It is very disgusting that till date "make my trip india" could not mail me the correct&complete invoice for the air journey to be undertaken in indigo flight on 22-05-16&27-05-16. I had booked my air tickets on[protected]Booking id-nf[protected] for ranchi to delhi & delhi to jammu, the journey date being 22-05-16 and jammu to delhi on 27-05-16 in indigo flight&delhi to ranchi on 27-05-16 in go air flight for which payment of rs.25460.00 was made through sbi net banking on 12-05-16. The same day i received mail that the portion of journey i. E. From delhi to ranchi is not confirmed and finally the amount rs.3996.00 has been refunded.


                  On 13-05-16 i booked again my air ticket (Booking id-nf[protected] for delhi to ranchi in go air flight, the journey date being 27-05-16 for which payment of rs.4108.00 was made through sbi net banking. One of the employees of"make my trip india" mr. Atul rai has mailed the invoice to me where in the amount mentioned is rs.17468.00 which is not correct and secondly there is no mention of place where the journey is to be undertaken. After deducting rs.3996.00 from rs.25460.00 the balance amount comes to rs.21464.00. If the invoice figure of rs.17468.00 is correct, then rs.3996.00 more is required to be refunded to me. You are requested to take immediate necessary action in the matter.

                    Dear sir,

                    I booked a domestic flight air ticket (Raipur to Del and back) with MakeMyTrip.com on dated 27th April. I had received confirmation mail with air ticket enclosed with PNR numberF7P8QP and booking ID: NF[protected].

                    On the day of journey (8th May, 2016), when I reached Raipur airport to take the Indigo 6E-204 flight for Delhi, I was told by the Indigo staff at the airport that the PNR number does not exist and there is no ticket on your name.

                    On calling customer service of Make my trip, they verified the booking and found that the booking is canceled by mistake from their part.

                    As only 1 hour was left for the departure, she(customer service of Make my trip) told us that she can’t book the ticket and asked us to book a fresh ticket at the airport itself and save the E-ticket and invoice document for reimburse the amount and send the same through the customer support link.The fare I have paid for fresh ticket was 31, 920.00 INR.


                    To get reimburse of the said amount we had to follow up with Make my Trip continuously for 10 days and narrating the whole story each time. Finally, they agreed to pay the amount of the previous ticket back and the difference of the amount between new ticket and old ticket.On 18.05.2016 I got reimburse.

                    This was a terrible experience with Make my trip and I want the compensation for the mental suffering I experienced all these days. We were supposed to visit places in Delhi but no program was materialized due to regular follow up with Make my trip for hours on telephone.

                    I am a senior citizen and also a patient of Asthma if could have happened wrong than who would be responsible.

                    Therefore, I want to lodge a complaint against Make my trip

                    With this experience, I should say that it is a lesson learnt for the next time that never to book any air ticket from Make my trip rather booking with the airline directly.

                      Dear Sir,
                      I need your help in the following matter:
                      Complaint: Refusal by MakeMyTrip to refund Unauthorised charges levied online by Make MyTrip software error for change of date for Booking Id NH[protected]. Details are as follows:

                      1. On 18th December 2015, because of my son’s car accident (fortunately he escaped unhurt) I made online changes for change of date (not cancellation) for two hotel bookings made through them at Ganga Kinare Hotel, Rishikesh for 19th and 20th of December, 2015. Due to software error, MakeMy Trip levied unauthorised charges online which I did not realise at the time because of the stress I was undergoing.
                      2. Later I represented to them and am happy to inform that excess unauthorised charges of Rs 4966/-were refunded to me for Hotel Booking ID NH[protected] where the date of booking of was changed from 19th December, 2015 to 25th March, 2016.
                      3. BUT for another online change of date made a few minutes later on the same day, for Booking Id NH[protected] for change of date from 20th December, 2015 to 26th March, 2016 again excess unauthorised charges were made, representation was given for refund, but REFUND WAS REFUSED.
                      It is inexplicable when the 2 cases are similar, when both bookings were modified online on the same day within a few minutes of each other, why refund should be paid in one case and not the other ?
                      This is what I have been repeatedly writing to Mr Pratik Thakar of MakeMy Trip but he avoids the question and refuses the refund.
                      MakeMyTrip cannot contradict itself and it is only fair that refund charges of Rs 4966/-should be paid to me for Hotel Booking Id NH[protected] also.
                      It is requested that the Indian Consumer Complaints Forum may kindly take up this complaint and make MakeMy Trip see reason.

                        We have had an experience with mmt holiday earlier and a pleasant one.

                        This time we planned to visit himachal the same account executive was contacted for the service. Payal. [protected]@makemytrip.In

                        On receiving the quote of rs. 145, 000, we did some research and found a
                        Comparative on booking/hotel about rs. 105-115. We asked her to see if she
                        Could work something out and try and get the price closed to that.

                        As first i got an excuse that mmt was a map plan and i was comparing to cp plan, agreed i'll pay your more for that, (Note, this is not mentioned in her offer) then she revised the original quote by 10k and sends us saying that the prices have shot up.

                        Which when we have checked and sent print screens for comparison to her as well as have a cop have remained same at the mmt website which was the cheaters as well as oberoi as well as booking site.

                        This is a clear indication of mistrust. I have agreed to pay mmt more than the estimated quote of the co ordination service, but to make false price increase. I don't think this suits a company of your stature.

                        And, the most disturbing part is this is being done with your returning customers.

                        Request if you could look into it and oblige.

                          I have booked a hotel in velankanni but after making the payment due to network problem the booking got cancelled and amount got deducted from my account.

                          I received a notification saying it will be refunded within 14 days but its been nearly 30 days still i have not received the amount.

                            Booking id - nh[protected]. I booked a room in cynosure boutique suites, cubbon road, bangalore for 18-19th may, 2016. I wanted to cancel the booking. I called the customer care atleast 40 times over 24 hours and couldn't get through as apparently they face 'high call density' all the time, maybe because everyone has to file a complain against them.

                            The online complaint form thing does not work either. Tried posting a complaint and service request 6-7 times but received an error message repeatedly.

                            I lost my money. I am disgusted with the customer service of make my trip that boasts of brilliant customer care.

                            I will be taking strict, formal, legal action against this unprofessional and cheap company. I want my money back. Someone needs to tell these companies to stop taking advantage of consumers.

                              My brother had a medical emergency and was required to be operated immediately at hinduja hospital mumbai. Therefore on 14th may, i tried to book 3 flight tickets from bhopal to mumbai for travelling on 16th may as the date of operation was fixed for 17th may. Through mmt app, when i applied, i was asked to pay rs. 12, 312. Just before payment a message flashed that fares have increased and i have to therefore pay rs. 13, 637, which too i agreed and proceeded with the payment and an amount of rs. 13, 037 (Taking balance from my mmt wallet) was debited to my hdfc net banking account. Even after successful payment i got a message that mmt is not able to process my request and therefore money shall be refunded in due course. I panicked and searched for call center number of mmt, to my utter surprise nowhere on app the same is mentioned and with great difficulty i got one number from other sources. Even on that number, there is no provision indicating communication with any executive, i guessed and pressed 9 number and after numerous efforts and wasting half an hour connected to executing, who monotonously told me that he understands my difficulty but cannot help as the payment was held up at getaway (Which i corrected him as gateway due to increased fare) and therefore it will be refunded, when i requested to connect me to his higher authority, he hold me for more than 15 minutes telling that his senior is busy. Finally when connected to senior, he too started singing same song. He refused to help me even after my telling him that by accepting money mmt has entered into a valid legal contract with me and therefore legally bound to provide services to me, but he refused.Interestingly, the tickets for the same flight were being displayed at the earlier reduced rates on mmt app. I am surprised what type of transaction this was. Later on, i came to know from many people that this is common phenomena with mmt and for many transactions, either once paid money is held up or they will take money twice and refund after several days.In some cases they will either not refund at all even after so many representations like they charged me twice for a hotel booking at ujjain under reference no. Nh[protected] and never returned second time charged money. I have an apprehension that some type of scandal is going on at mmt and appropriate authority shall deeply investigate it. Mmt is using substantial free money from innocent clients by duping them in above manner. I intend to move a legal action for committing such frauds, which has been proved in two cases with me.

                              We are sorry to read about the issue, In reference to your complaint regarding refund and amount debited twice. Please note that we have already processed the refund of R 96 in your wallet account and INR 264/- in your bank's account on 16th May16.

                              Also please note that the payment comes to us through a payment gateway, so there could b a technical glitch from PG or from your bank's side also. There could be different reasons.

                              Hence we request you to check with your bank for the refund and do let us know once the refund received by you.

                                In reference to your complaint, we have validated your case with our concerned department and found that on 14-May-16 an amount of Inr 9440/- was charged against a failed transaction but the booking did not get confirmed. Refund of Inr 100/- was processed on the same day in customer's Payback account but due to an automation error refund of balance amount of Inr 9440/- did not get processed. As checked the balance refund has also been processed on 30-May-16 in customer's bank account. The same should now be reflecting in your account. We thank you for contacting us.

                                  Let me start by saying that this is the worst company to deal with, and i believe i did the biggest mistake by booking my tickets through them. I had booked tickets for last year and due to death in the family, i had to cancel my trip. Everybody refunded my expense (Hotel, other united flight), but make my trip was not only didn't care but also refused to make anything easier for me.
                                  When i called them to rebook, it took me 1 hour every time to get to them and every time they would disconnect the call or tell me that they will call me, and i would never get any call! I was able to connect one time after 15 days of trying and they said the fare difference is 1800 dollars!
                                  I was getting a new ticket for same route for 1000 dollars, so i decided to buy that, and now i am trying to rebook my ticket, but 5 times they have told me that they will call me back as they are not able to look at the fares, and i never get any call back.

                                  Customer service reps are not only rude but also extremely unhelpful. Tears well up in my eyes when i have to think about dealing with mmt. If i could warn everyone from top of a roof then i would to not book anything through this company. It is so much easier to book directly from airline.

                                  Stay away guys and i wish i could get some of my money back!

                                    We had planned to visit bhutan and travel from 29/12/2015 to 4/1/2016 through makemytrip company.
                                    We went to kolkata airport to catch our flight to bhutan (Paro pbh) on 29/12/2015. And for the identity we had our pan card with us. Also the soft copies of other documents like passport and voting card in our mobiles.
                                    But the bhutan authority at the airport did not approve our pan cards. They did not accept our soft copies also. We and other passengers with us in our group requested a lot but they refused to accept. Because of all this, we had to cancel visiting bhutan and make a return journey to pune. It caused a lot of mental and physical trouble.
