The entire tour was extremely badly handled. I am giving below the issues which we have faced.

1) we missed the' night of the creatures' show on the 23rd thanks to to the poor planning of the tour manager-mr ajay desai, who was more interested in dinner than the show.

2) on the 25th, we were not taken for the city orientation tour at all. We were shown the fountain of wealth from the bus! There was no suntec city tour, merlion walk, orchard road tour at all! Even at sentosa we missed the 4d magix show as well as we were not taken for the monorail ride! This was all mentioned in the brochure!

3) on the 26th enroute to kuala lumpur from singapore, during the tour of malacca we were not taken to the cheng hoon teng temple citing reasons that the bus cannot go there! This was again mentioned in the brochure!!

4) on the 27th when we were supposed to go to sunway lagoon we reached there at 9.45. However due to the miscoomunication between the tour manager and the local guide we were able to get in only at 11 am. We lost a good 1 hour over there.

5) same day we were supposed to go for the famous 'saloma' cultural show in kl. From morning we were told that there are special tables booked for us and it is a great show. Our expectations were built up and come evening we were told that the saloma show is packed to capacity and we are upgrading you to a '5 star' show. We were then taken to some different hotel which was also hosting some cultural and this was being passed of as similar to 'saloma'. This was the limit and all o[censored]s just walked out and demanded an explanation. They spoke to someone in india and then it was decided to take us to the 'original' saloma show today. There was also a tough time arranging for dinner for all o[censored]s.

6) again the next day morning we were ready at 9 as per the time for the kl city tour but unfortunately the local guide did not turn up till 9.30, when it was decided that we will go shopping first. As usual we had to rush thru the entire sightseeing.

I took up the matter with kesari & sent a mail md & their guest services manager. Only after considerable followups did they reply after 19 days they sent a mail stating that they will reimburse rs 3400 & are also giving guest vouchers of rs 4000. They had also told me that they would give me a point by point explanation. However this was never mentioned in the mail. I have been asking for an explanation for the past 2 weeks, & have sent 9 reminders asking them to revert on how they arrived at the calculation. They did not even bother to apologise for the same till date. I have been asking for an appointment for 2 weeks. However they have not giving me any appointment till date.

They also sent the cash & vouchers to my house and surprsingly also sent a indemnity form for my signature. This mentioned that i was settling the issue with what refund they were giving. I refused to take the same.

At the end of this i feel completely cheated and let down. Our hard earned money has not been able to get the returns what we expected. Whatever is mentioned in the brochure and what is communicated is completely different from what actually happens on tour.

Who is responsible for me and my family not getting what we paid for?

They have admitted their mistake otherwise the would not have sent the mail for refund. However the amount is too less for the inconvenience & hardship & mental agony we have faced.

I have now decided to pursue the matter legally.

    I had some 4000 rs in my wallet which i wanted to of course utilize. i was trying to do the same on my recent domestic flight booking where in i got to know that i can use only 5% of the wallet amt in d transaction. can u pl help me understand the stupid logic behind this. i m really irritated with such pathetic service

      After many calls, complaints we didn't get any revert from mmt team.
      I have faced a lots of problem during my stay and also checked out within 1 hr from the hotel in bharatpur, hotel was in very bad condition. I have also mentioned this when i called to support but till date there is no any revert.

        Dear sir/madam.
        I am pankaj sinha, a loyal customer of makemytrip since 4years.
        This time i am facing a problem of the refund, as i have paid 80000/-extra amount to mmt, because since last moment some deposited cq was not cleared of my group of 15 person for thailand trip on 29th june to 3rd of july. Ms vandana from pune mmt has called me and said that you can pay the final amount and take the vouchers for journey, and if cqs cleared then will refund back at earliest.
        I am contacting the pune team including madhur, allwyn, vandana but my work of refund is not happening since 10 days or more.

        Moreover while going through the pass book and icici bank, it is clear that our cq was cleared before our journey but the account dept has not informed to pune mmt team, now after clearance and my proof of clearance by passbook and transaction id shows that payment are in the mmt.. Transaction id — s25189695

        Hence my request to you that pl revert back and settle my account.

          We booked for 2 days but we checked out after 1 day only. it was really horrible experience. further compensation should be provided by make my trip y i need to ask sonika. i booked through make my trip.

          We were not allowed to check in even half n hour before but we had bookings for 2 days, hotel guy kept on knocking doors around 9 am in morning. very much irritating. a towel was asked, which they gave was similar which we give to beggars. i have photos, i[censored] want i can click and send it. toilet leakage was there, only a small single table fan in room. how can you expect a small fan for all
          People staying on upbead. rooms are very small micro size. wifi facility was not working, when asked it was not connecting, hotel guy is saying join another net which was some free, he is saying open windows and connect. this is not expected. worst service. i need compensation otherwise i will write to consumer court for sure. i have all pics of hotels and service they provided.

              actualy durring tour i have suffered a lot ... and it was started from ahmedabad airport they have canceled my wife's ticket without my permission that they paid to me before 15 days but they confirm me 10000 cashback in one week now it has been 5 weeks and there is no response from his side and he is still ignoring me i dont know why i have booked trip with his trust of 10000 cashback in make my trip account i thik he has cheated me and i dont want to be cheated and i am making awareness in consumer complaint and as well as in that honorable company make my trip here in that image you can find their confirmation

                If we do booking by using makemytrip there is no option for cancellation and there is no option for cancellation. rtc bus was better in those days atleast they were paying on cancellation 50% 40% 70% of amount on small amount.

                Yesterday i did reservation of hyderabad to bangalore e ticket reservation by using makemytrip app and indigo airlines they won't entertain even one rupee cash back return.

                It's really big disappointment if we cancel our ticket.

                It will go under sadqah. makemytrip is big company.indigo is even big company of airlines they won't give single rupee it's really baseless. this tax that tax swach bharat tax all taxes we have to pay for air bus reservation. if we want to cancel makemytrip will tell us to call indigo.indigo will tell us to call makemytrip this fraud big companies big fraud. please control this cheat looting public money on the name of company rules and policies. take some action by indian government.

                  Hi all,

                  I have booked a hotel from make my trip for 2 nights in mussoorie. i have selected 3 star category & paid rs 7597/- for 2 nights, unfortunately i had a pathetic experience of my life. i was promised neat & clean rooms as per hotel guarantee policy of make my trip but i got worst experience of my life.
                  Rooms were dirty & the star category of the hotel was not more than 1. i have attached the rooms pics & requested make my trip to honor hg policy, however they simply denied & was unprofessional.in short my grievance is this, i have paid rs 7597 to mmt and requested a super delux room, however lower room category was offered to me as rooms were not available & now they are not helping me out. they have done a scam as they have taken money from me & not given me promised services, please help in getting my money back

                      This is my complaint against Makem trip and it's hotel cancellation policy. On 20th of June, I booked Alankritha resorts, Hyderabad and within an hour's time I cancelled my booking. I called up the customer care and they promised me a refund . I kept calling Makeup trip almost every day from 21st June till yesterday and every day a new customer care executive took the call and I explained the issue to everybody and I was assured a refund. The amount charged for the resort was 4646 rs and I was given a discount of 130 rs while booking. Yesterday, after long wait on the phone call, I got to know that only 130 rs was refunded and the remaining amount 4516 will not be refunded.
                      All this while I was assured that my money will be refunded and today I get to know the money will not be refunded because of some unclear and complex cancellation policy.

                      I need help here and I file this complaint against this website for cheating me on cancellation. The booking was cancelled within minutes and still they say cancellation policy does not allow them to refund my money.

                      This is a very big fraud company and I request immediate attention on this.

                          Hello.
                          I mustafa have been taken a ticket on date 9.7.16 from guwahaty to silchar arhans tour travel bus seat no 5. Through mmtrip, when i arrived ticket counter then bus operator told me, ur bus cancelled u hv no seat and not refund money but it's false and fake, they have didn't help me, so make my trip is fake and chit, unbelievable site. Mmtrip didn't help me and not pick up call and not refund money. My bus pnr no shd9pss 6.30 on bus starting time. So dear all don't make ticket from make my trip.

                            Please refer the above booking id, which we received on 7th july 2016 when we booked the ticket from bangalore to phuket on sat 9, july 2016 and phuket to bangalore 15, july 2016 through makemytrip india pvt ltd.

                            Note:
                            When we arrived at kempegowda internation airport, bangalore with the print out of booking confirmation which we received from make my trip (Mmt), we were totally shocked to hear that there is no reservation. As a responsible company mmt should have informed us if any problem in issuing the ticket. Immediately we contacted mmt, but unfortunately no was no proper response from mmt and we have to return back home. Because of mmt mistake we had suffered huge loss in terms of financial as well as personal as we had family gathering for 1 week and we already had hotel booking in phuket. Now it is the duty of mmt to compensate the loss atleast 70% of the booking amount. It was a total nightmare for my family, mmt should have made some other arrangements to accommodate 4 members. But nothing was done. Horribal experience with mmt. Irresponsible behavior regarding customer's concern

                            We had also received sms alert for the payment received from mmt as soon as the payment from transferred from my hdfc credit card account as soon as the payment was deducted from our credit card account.

                            Also refer the discussion with mr. Avik pal, ref no.[protected]. Kindly arrange for the full refund of booking amount rs. 1, 10, 040.00 immediately.

                            Hope mmt will understand our situation, and compensate the loss.

                              Makemytrip never refunds money when we cancel a ticket thru airlines. Although airlines deposit back to Makemytrip within 3days. However Makemytrp cancellation procedure is until we initiate cancellation in makemy trip bookings they will not refund the amount. Who is going to pay interest for this? I have cancelled number of tickets and now I don't see those bookings in Makemytrip website.

                              How can they form these kind of procedure, where makemytrip will hold millions of refunded amount from Airlines but will not be deposited automatically to consumer, until they come and seek.

                              I am sure, makemytrip must be looting millions of rupees like this. Its very simple procedure, when airlines refund money they must be sending instruction with Airline PNR. Makemytrip does have this information, what is the complexity in this to refund customer account immediately.

                              Can you please take immediate action on this?

                              Unfortunately I am not aware of the tickets that I cancelled in the past. My makemytrip account is registered with [protected]@yahoo.com email id. Makemytrip must have all bookings that I made and the money they received for the cancellation too.

                                  I cancelled mine and my wife kanika maloo ticket on 25th june at 1:25 am & 1:35 am for the flight delhi to leh at 6:40 am. i have the cancellation request confirmation mail from make my trip too for the same. i should be eligible for the remaining amount after deduction of cancellation charges of 2225.
                                  But i got only taxes because of no show as per airline go air. that's mean make my trip does not inform go air regarding the cancellation.

                                  Go air have confirmed me that they did not get any cancellation request from make my trip. this is the technical issue at make my trip side because of which i did not get the remaining amount after cancellation charges. i know i made the cancellation request with reason airline delayed which is true for the connecting 1st flight of indigo after which i wont be able to catch the 2nd flight goair. but by mentioning that reason does not mean that my airline ticket of goair wont be get cancelled.

                                  Now make my trip should refund me back the eligible amount what i deserve.

                                    For the booking reference nn[protected] and nn[protected], i am following up since 3 months (april, may june and now running july).

                                    For these booking reference i have cancelled my ticket but till now i have not received refund yet. as per my conversation with makemytrip money is already credited to mmt account (from airasia) but mmt is not refunding to me.

                                      Misleading/incorrect information was provided by assistant sales manager of mmt, mr. ravi thakur, during booking of tours.

                                      We (two ladies) have booked a group tour to sri lanka in march of this year. on reaching there, there was no sign of a group tour. the only two members of the so called group were two o[censored]s. there was no response to a number of e-mails sent in this regard until the matter was referred to higher authorities. however, no indication of apologies or accepting the error.

                                      I made the mistake of booking another group tour for myself to kashmir through ravi thakur. i was told that there would be 30-40 persons in the group – travelling and sight seeing would be as a group and hotels would be different for different packages. when i reached srinagar, i came to know that i was the only person for the package/itinerary given to me as a group tour. i was alone during the entire trip. clarifications given by ravi thakur made no sense at all. i asked the management of mmt “does it make sense to leave a single lady alone for travelling and sight seeing in kashmir.”
                                      In my opinion, people should at least think twice before booking a tour with mmt. they are least bothered after receiving payment. moreover, if a person holding managerial position has no knowledge about the trips, what we can expect from junior staff of mmt.
                                      I would want as many people as possible to learn from mistakes made by me.
