Dear sir,
On 3 may, 2016 i have booked with you 12 flight tickets from delhi to mumbai dated 1 june 2016, air india ai 349, 03:50 hrs. On 03 may, 2016 for rs.41, 043/-, which booking id's number are id for 10 tickets no.Nf[protected] and id for 2 tickets no. Nf[protected] and the said amount deposited by me on same day and accepted by your company and confirmed the said 12 flight tickets booking, your company also send 12 flight tickets booking confirmation mail to me on my e mail.
On 5 may 2016 your company have send one e mail on my e mail account on or about 10:13 am stating that "my above booking id for 10 tickets no.Nf[protected] is unable to confirm for due to some technical error at airline end". Which is surprisingly to me, because your earlier e mail is stating that the said booking is confirmed by your company. After receiving this e mail i contact your customer care center and complaint about above matter to them that without my permission you have not cancelled my booking of 10 flight tickets, then they replied to me that "your 10 flight tickets are cancelled and we are not booking / confirming your flight tickets and avoiding on or some other pretext and said we are asking to higher authority about my complaint.” but, neither your employee asked the higher authority nor given any feedback to me. I again tried and tried to contact your customer care center, again they avoiding on or some other pretext. Lastly i told your customer care center that you have not cancelled my confirmed 10 flight tickets without my prior permission or permission and your employee replied me that “we have not binded for taking any permission from you for cancellation of 10 flight tickets and we have right to cancel any custmer’s, flight ticket and it is not necessary to take customer’s permission for cancellation of flight ticket.” your customer care center didn’t talked and treated to me as customer, but as so so.
Today i have received another e-mail from your company that the amount of rs.31, 523/-, which is less than amount accepted by your company for 10 flight tickets, is refund to me as early as possible and the 10 flight tickets are cancelled by your company without my permission.
I will not want to your refund amount, you shall make confirm the my 10 flight tickets within 24 hours.

    An international trip to dubai was booked for susham khanna and rekha sethi(Sister)

    On 23rd april, sushma khanna one of the passenger in the booking id got a brain attack and got paralysis. The same day emergency document received from the hospital was forwarded to sahil patyal, rep from mmt who did the visa for us.

    Since 23rd i have been following up on emails everyday on refund with no response.

    The entire case history and supporting docs of the medical condition were also forwarded within 3 days.

    I don't understand why such a big company like mmt is not responding and refunding our money and on top of that is mentally torturing by making us follow up on emails and phone calls . Its a shame on mmt disturbing the family who is going through so much already.

    If you a little dignity and some human element, don't make me follow up again and process the refund today.

    I need my refund processed asap.

      I made a blunder of booking air tickets through makemytrip.com online from chandigarh to varanasi via delhi on 29dec2015. While browsing details and the suitable timings for flights, i booked the air tickets vide booking no-nf[protected]. Game played by the person on desk at gurgaon got unfolded right from the time i started looking for flights. I was indicated the cost of tickets for me and my wife travelling by jet connect from chandigarh to delhi and from delhi to varanasi by jet airways on 26 feb16 and on return journey on 01 mar16 by spicejet flt from varanasi to delhi and by jet connect to chandigarh as rs 14956/= only. When i asked for booking the flights then i was asked to add rs 800.00 as the convenience charges.
      Thus a total of rs 15756/=was paid by me on the internet.
      Main game played on me was known on getting the e-tickets wherein three flights ie jet connect and jet airways had booked us with 15 kgs of check in baggage as generally is for domestic flts but on return journey from varanasi by spicejet flt our reservation was done in economy class with hand baggage only.
      I immediately got on the consumer services of the makemytrip website and lodged a complaint about this trick played on the innocent customers. How does one think of carrying 15 kgs of check in baggage for three sections of the journey and drops the suitcases
      On the return journey?
      I also got communication from spicejet people that we had confirmed tkts from varanasi to delhi with hand baggage only and had to pay additional amount of rs 800/= in case check in baggage was to be authorised. I made a number of calls to the people of makemytrip.com and requested for help since this game of cheating by luring the customers was done by them. I remember my talking to mr hitesh sachdeva, supposedly a supervisor in the travel agency at gurgaon who expressed that i have to pay additional amount to the spicejet for the check in baggage.
      Unfortunately my wife fell ill and was advised by the doctor to avoid travelling in the middle of feb 16. I therefore cancelled the tickets on 17 feb 16and requested for the refund. To my horror i got the reply that the tickets had been cancelled and i would get a refund of rs 80.00 only. I thereafter spoke to mr deepak., mr madur and miss aradhana who confirmed that the their early communication was wrong and that i would be getting rs 4660/=as the refund. Ultimately i got rs 4008/=after a no of number of calls made. The travel agency gave no details of deduction made.
      My representation is that makemytrip people lure the customers as the did with me by indicating low priced tkts and then play tricks like booking passengers with hand baggage only in between the travel sectors. On cancellation of tickets almost 9 days prior to commencement of journey, they refused to refund the money without any legitimate reasons.
      I would request for the unrefunded amount of rs11748/= primarily because of luring by indicating low fares initially and later adding rs 800.00 as the convenience charges and rs 800.00 to be etc to spicejet on account of their booking us only with hand baggage only.
      I do expect the travel agency to investigate the issue and take strict action against persons getting involved in luring and cheating the customers. I want to get my unrefunded amount of rs 11748/. The company also needs to be penalised heavily and compensation paid for causing harassment and mental torture.

      and my MakeMyTrip Booking ID- NF[protected]. Kindly solve the issue and refund me the amount. i had booked the tickets before 29th June 2015. its been more than 8 months.

        I purchased a business class ticket from an agent at Make My Trip and he quoted me a price after booking the itinerary. After paying the agreed amount, he called me and told me that one of the flights in the itinerary was not available in business class and helped me find another flight after which he told me that I had to pay an additional Rs 38, 038 which I paid. I then find out from the airline website that the price was at least Rs 45, 000 less than what I paid and I have been trying to get them to send me a detailed invoice for the ticket. They do not want to be truthful that they charged me around Rs 45, 000 service fee for the ticket. When asked for a supervisor they would not transfer my call and my calls have not been resulted in any resolution.

          Reference id:[[protected]] for ticket raised.

          I made a payment from mobikwik wallet. Payment got succeeded from mobikwik end but failed from makemytrip end.

          After raising complaint, i provided mobikwik wallet details too but didn't got any positive response. On calling each time they ask the time for 72 hrs and sometimes 5 days.

          I wrote till manager level but no response from them too. One time one of the senior person called me but after that she too become unresponsive.

            Dear team,

            Basically what happen was, i booked hotels through makemytrip app . Bookings date was 31st march 2016, 01st april 2016 and 2nd april 2016.
            As per the terms and conditions, the cashback has to be received by 21 days. But i received the cashback only for one booking (Ie) 01 apr 2016 - sukmantra resort - nh[protected].

            So when i enquired about this to customer care, they initially replied me stating that no bookings found. Then i send the booking ids to them. Replied me back saying, "cashback cannot be processed".

            This makes me frustrating. If i haven't applied the code, how come i receive the cashback for one hotel booking out of three. I am 200% pretty sure that i applied the code during booking . The cash back not received for the booking ids are nh[protected] the sea horse resort - 31 mar 2016 & nh[protected] the belmonte by ace - 02 apr 2016.

            Kindly request to take this as a formal complaint against make my trip. Because this situation shouldn't happen to any one in future. Giving false promise and cheating the people.

              Make My Trip Customer Support called me at around 18:00 hrs today 4th May 2016 in response to my refund request made more than 3 weeks ago.

              When I asked a Mr. Kailash (name of caller from Make My Trip) to transfer me to his Supervisor he put me on hold and its now 19:23 and I am still on hold recording the call.

              I guess Make My Trip don't care about their phone bills.

                Hi

                I am writing this because when i cancel my ticket i got the mail from your makemyTrip that the refundable amount is Rs 7552.But after cancelling the ticket i got another amount which is Rs 1028.

                I also complaint it on MakemyTrip but there reply was not satisfied i have all the proof's they send me while cancelling that the refund amount must be Rs. 7552.

                Can You please take necessary action.

                I booked flight from make my trip.those were providing cashback of 1200 using appfest promo code on sbi credit card.the option to get cashback in sbicard was no working so i selected option to get cashback in wallet.
                the cashback which is given in wallet is useless.i can use only 200 rupees of cashback and this this cashback will expire in july

                  I had booked a ticket to Vienna and Budapest by Lufthansa airline using Make my trip. My ticket mentions cancellation charges as )+649 (Airline + make my trip charges). Due to unavoidable circumstances I had to cancel my booking. Upon cancellation the Make my trip staff told me that there will be cancellation charges of 18000+. When I asked them the ticket says only 649 as the charge, they said they cannot do anything about it

                    A month ago I booked a room while travelling in Italy which was not not successful even though I had a successful booking voucher.
                    Was told my make my trip advisor virali shah that make the payment as much as hotel asks and we will refund you the entire amount you paid online as well as the difference amount.
                    It was on 7th april'2016 and today it is 3rd may'2016 and after so much of regular mailing and coordination there hasn't been any refund yet.and no reply to my mails from make my trip as well.

                      Issues:
                      Unprofessional behavior by your sales staff causing financial loss.
                      Breach of trust of a loyal customer.
                      Intent to create situations leading to financial loss.
                      Non-performance of duties entrusted by brand in the staff.
                      Mental harassment to customer.

                      Forgive me but i'm sure you never create "makemytrip" to cause distress to its customers. I would like to write reviews abou this issue to guard millions of customers who would be facing such issues but would not have time and guts to write about it and must be feeling cheated at every step.

                      Case:
                      13th april: requested for hk & maldives package -amit andheri east office
                      15th april: after promising reply same day no revert, after multiple follow ups reply comes sorry ma'am i was hospitalized.
                      (Process glitch: if a person is unwell who should take over the ongoing jobs)
                      18th april : recieved details from him (Tat to revert effecing prices 5 days)
                      Replied to him immediately for hk to be confirmed and he need to find out the customization we wanted and revert back.
                      26th april : he confirmed he will revert with all queries but since then no response, no reply, no hadnover to anyone else in the team.
                      29th april: as there was no response after multiple follow ups from the person escallated to baljeet his supervisor
                      2nd april : baljeet reverts sorry we cannot offer you the package discussed and the dates as the package is totally sold out"
                      May i hell ask the manangement as a customer is it my fault that i should bear the loss for the unthical, unprofessional behavior of your employee?

                      Today your mananger gautam, mentions that tour costs have gone up? Is this my fault as a customer for the job not done by your staff???
                      I've what's app messages to prove how much i chased amit and what kidn fo follow ups were done before he totally absconded?
                      Is makemytrip trying to make fool out of people.
                      Being a media person i would really like to understand if this is a modus operandi to ensure customer ends up paying higher and is in the end forced to; what is the point of having alia and ranvir as brand ambassadors, untimately we customers will have to talk good about you to ensure your nps score is high.
                      This clearly falls under cheating and breach of customer trust.

                      I would certainly like to highlight this on social media with my strict reviews and atttach all conversations with your employee and follow ups done on mails and messages.

                      But, taking a step back and asking the management is this how you wish to build your brand in this tough competitivve environment ?? Is this really your "brand promise", the business will only grow if customers are happy in last one year this is the 3rd time i'm giving bsuiness to your portal, am i not a customer somebody should take care of?

                      Why is makemytrip managers failing to keep their promise and price quoted, due to your absconding employee, should the customer be bearing the brunt and losses isn't this
                      "cheating the trust of customers"???

                      I feel extremely bad for all the experience i'm having today and i look forward to hear from the management on a viable solution if you care for your customers, who are the reason for your existence.

                        Sir, i booked tickets for a conference in brussels from calcutta to brussels from 1st april to 7th april .Due to the blast in airport of brussels and as the airport was closed we couldnt reach there the agent returned the flight fare but he is not refunding the hotel fees i have paid him. Its very natural if the airport is closed we cannot reach the hotel neither can we reach our conference so why will i be harred every day by that agent telling me that he mailed the hotel and the hotel didnt reply neither the hotel is repling in his call. Its very simply a cheating. For this if i dont find a solution by mail or by call i ll have to move my way to consumers forum because i dont see any other option. I cant afford to loose 30k for just a fraud reason. Please help me

                          The room was not up to 10.00 pm

                          When they offered room, it was very pathathatic condition, so i moved out and stayed other hotel @my cost.

                          When I contacted they put me on hold one to two hour and not resolved.

                          please I request you all never book thru this company

                            I have booked a ticket from ahmedabad to goa & return via make my trip on 17 april 2016. As per the schedule i have booked 4 tickets for 21 may 2016 from ahmedabad to goa. On the return journey i.E. Goa to ahmedabad, instead of booking for 25 may 2016, by mistake i have booked for 25 june 2016. At the time of booking, the ticket shows refundable.

                            As per cancellation policy of make my trip, the cancellation charges are 2250 + 300 for cancellation between 4 hours to 7 days. I have cancelled the ticket for return journey within 2 hours on same day, however the company has reimburse me only rs. 1, 932/- and has levy the charges of rs.10, 200/- as cancellation charges. You are also requested to let me know where can i escalate the matter, if i will not get the suitable reply.

                            Here it is worth mentioning that my collogue has booked the same flight ticket via goibibo and he has also cancelled the ticket, but he got the full amount refund.

                            Further, in reference to your complaint, we have validated your case at our end and found that passenger had cancelled Goa to Ahmedabad return flight booking for all four passenger and the airline cancellation charges were Inr 2250 per passenger. So, airline has provided us a refund of Inr 2892/- after deducting their cancellation charges. Form our end we had initially processed a refund of Inr 1932/- after deducting MakeMyTrip charges. Now, please be advised that as a onetime service gesture we have processed more refund of Inr 2860/- from our end by waiving off our charges, the same should now be reflecting in your account.

                              I have requested for a travel ticket to jakarta from chennai starting on 19May2016 and returning on 24May2016and have got it booked it through MMT (using online chat with user Ajeet Singh).

                              The return flight at jakarta on 24May 2016 is at evening 20.30 reaching KUL at 23.30 the connecting flight date should be next date i.e. 25 May 2016 morning 06.30, however i find it on 24May2016 06.30

                                  Dear Sir,

                                  I had tried to book flight tickets from Mumbai to Madurai on 18/04/16 for my parents in the event of my grandmother getting expired. On completion of transaction, I had got a failure confirmation suggesting the transaction did not go through and I will be rewarded with 100 points at the end of re-submitting the transaction. Since there was an urgency and I was not sure on re-attempting with MakeMyTrip, I had to go for ClearTrip.com where the transaction went through successfully . Ticket attached.

                                  After some time I got an email & SMS from MakeMyTrip.com saying the failed transaction has gone through(NF[protected]. I had immediately called MakeMyTrip explaining what the issue was(Reference ID:[[protected]] ) and they need to cancel the tickets rightfully without any cancellation charges. Had to spend nearly 1 hour speaking to Kumar Rohit & Mohammed Ziauddin who had the audacity to keep me on hold for 20mins twice just to listen to my complaint. First of all the officers are not at all competent and do not have the mannerisms to speak to a customer and secondly they were unsure of what they were talking changing statements every now and then. With no solution or reasonable answer, I had to cancel the tickets booked through ClearTrip.com resulting in a loss of 13k (INR Thirteen Thousand)

                                  Am sure many people would have gone through the turmoil and would have noticed MakeMyTrip comfortably changing prices when someone checks in for a particular flight. This is completely unethical and not sure whether this has been raised with the regulatories.

                                  I need MakeMyTrip to pay for the losses incurred and need an apology for adding to the trouble of we losing our grandmother.

                                    Travel date : 16th april - 22nd april

                                    Let me share the worst experience which i had with makemytrip.
                                    I had booked 2 packages for thailand through makemytrip the booking id for the same was in1601b8s218873 and in1601b8s218933. I received all the service confirmation vouchers, hotel booking vouchers and air tickets. The bookings were made by mr. Iftekhar alam.
                                    Upon boarding the plane, we noticed that the food mentioned in our preference was vegetarian food. No one from makemytrip even cared to ask us our preference. That was the first strike which we got.
                                    We reached bangkok, done with the visa process and called the travel agent who was supposed to pick us up from the airport and drop to the hotel. The representative of the travel agent informed us that our services were cancelled. That was the second blow given to us. We called all the numbers mentioned in the service voucher, most of them were not in use, and other were uncooperative. The only information which we could after landing at the airport the services are cancelled and we should call makemytrip. The makemytrip travel agent was unsupportive (Khun pair). She just informed that the services were cancelled and didn’t even give us the local contact numbers. She was rude, arrogant and highly uncooperative. She was not ready to share any other information or any solution for our situation.
                                    We then started calling india (Isd) but the numbers that makemytrip gives for ground support are unable to be contacted internationally. Basically when you are travelling internationally you won’t get any support from makemytrip ground staff and the booking staff won’t know anything what is happening. Somehow i manage to get in touch with the team lead of mr. Iftekhar alam. He was very sweet and he just used to say that the ground staff will get in touch with us. He was not of any help to us.
                                    We approximately called them around 25 time but all was waste of time and money (Isd calling). Hence, we decided to go to pattaya on our own as there was no clarity what would happen. We took a private vehicle and went to pattaya and checked into the hotel.
                                    We repeatedly followup but without any reply from makemytrip. After 2 days mr. Tyron irani contacted and apologies.
                                    This was the most pathetic experience we have. We were in between nowhere by booking with makemytrip.

                                      Not at all reliable . Where the hell do i go whom do i complain feel helpless. The agent which i was given whose name is Anisha Thakur is not even responding even after calling her ten times . Worst experience ever never book a holiday from here . They just dont care.

                                      If you respect your customer kindly contact me and resolve my concerns .


                                      Ill give you a screenshot of when i contacted the customer care the time they put me on hold 20 freaking mins . I will seriously take action against you guys if you dont resolve my concerns.
