You booked a flight for four o[censored]s to jamaica kingston booking in1609b6s1867952 stating that there wont be visa required for the given flight
But one of the passenger was not allowed to board the flight from mumbai airport and now i need the refund of the same from your company or resedule of the booking for tara prasad teli. Its not a small amount im sure you will agree to this as its a hard earned money and please next time check before you do this to anyone i am really upset with such people who dont have proper information and eork for such huge companies
Also our curacao to kingston flight got cancelled and no one is there to look after it we are sitting in the airport since last 7hrs and now we come to know that next flight is after 3 days i am going to ask people not to book tickets from make my trip because there job is to collect money from people and not give any service.
If you are not going to look into this matter i have to take a big step against your company.

    This is regarding reference number[protected] Opened on Aug 29th 2016 for the refund of four tickets from Kochi to Sharjah. I have cancelled flights booked for my family members after talking to makemytrip customer care team and booked a different airline to Duabi as it was a better option for us. Tickets costed me 67000 INR and after the cancellation charges I was supposed to get 51000 INR as per the cancellation policy page. I was told refund would be processed within few working days but later that day I got another call from makemytrip customer care team that the ticket can’t be refunded as the airline doesn’t allow that but I can book a future flight in same airline but would be given only half the amount I spent for the tickets. This was not the information I was given by makemytrip customer care team when I called them for cancellation and I was promised a refund to bank account. I had to call the customer care team again and report this and they raised a call trace request against the first associate who promised me a refund and I have sent them the screenshot of refund confirmation page when I cancelled the tickets. As I didn’t get a call back from customer care team, I called them again after three days and they admitted the fault from their customer care executive but gave me only option of half refund. I didn’t agree for that and escalated the case to the next level which didn’t help and the ticket now lies with top level escalation team of makemytrip- Kajal Devi from makemytrip customer delight team. When a ticket gets escalated to the top level in any company, you get a proper response to your mails. But my experience was worst. Mss. Kajal called me two days after the ticket got assigned to her and said an investigation is being carried out and I would get a response in 48 working hours but there was no response for many days and I kept on calling the makemytrip customer care team but they wash their hand saying they can’t touch the ticket as it now lies with top level management and promise me they mail them and I will get a call back from customer delight team member. After sending many mails, Mss. Kajal called me on Sep 21st and said they have almost made a decision for refund promised in cancellation page and I would get a positive news on next Monday(which was 26th sep). But after that there was no calls or mails from Kajal or any of their team members. I have called customer few time even after that and after I called them last time on last Thursday (6th October) and informed I am going to move legally, I got a call back from customer care supervisor and requested for 48 hour more but same story again.
    I was forced to post this story in social media by makemytrip customer delight team as I felt like they have been tricking me all these days. It’s been close to two months I did the cancellation and there is no refund for tickets yet.

      Hey,
      I had booked two airline tickets from delhi to kochi and back for dates 19th october'16 and 23 october '16 respectively on 28th august '16 for 26220/-
      I had to cancel the same tickets because of change in travel plans.. On 4th october.. I opened makemytrip website for cancellation... The amount shown to me after cancellation was 25558/-... I thought to 672/- are being charged as penalty... I simply cancelled the flight... I have the screenshot of same... Next day, i get an email about refund in which only 2926/- are being processed for refund... I mailed the makemytrip team... There team called me... I registered my query... I was told... My issue would be resolved in 24hrs... But... It is almost in 48hrs... No response to my mails...

        I had book my tickets through hdfc credit card on 31/07/2016 telephonically through your call centre and the booking person was maninder, i was offered rs. 8000/- (4000*2) cash back for using hdfc credit card.

        2. in1607b4s1340657 in the name of sumeet khanna
        As i was not able to see any amount in my account wallet, i had sent mail to maninder twice but there was no response. then i made call to your customer care, gurpreet was the person i spoke with on friday 07/10/2016, he confirmed that by mistake email has been wrongly entered, so he said that, he has raised a complaint and gave me complaint reference no. 161007/054635 and said that my problem will be sorted out by saturday (08/10/2016) definitely. but to my surprise i did not receive any call or mail or solution for the same.
        Hope concern person will look into the matter urgently and i will receive the said amount to my, make my trip wallet immediately.

          This is to tell you that I had booked my hotel room at Fab Hotel Anjuna Beach for my visit to Goa from the[protected] to[protected].

          Please let your bosses be aware I am totally disgusted with your service and listing of poor mediocre hotel the pictures shown on the website and when you visit the place is totally different.

          The place stinks( Fab Hotel - Anjuna Beach) of ALCOHAL AND WEED, there was HUMAN [censored] ON THE ENTRANCE OF THE RECEPTION... TOTALLY DIRTY AND DISGUSTING.. I HAVE TAKEN PICTURE OF THE PLACE JUST TO PUT IT ON THE SOCIAL MEDIA.

          After speaking to many of your Agents, namely Danish, Amit and a Prateeksha with number of calls to Make My Trip we were shifted to calangute to Hotel La Flamingo.
          Since we were too shocked and tired to react and hence took up what you offered in place of Anjuna beach Fab hotel we checked in at la flamingo jut a note to tell you the hotel still not ready and fully functional as work and paint job are still going on we have to change rooms due to constant noise as workers working all day.

          The best part is that we paid 9063 for 3 days of stay in the Anjuna beach Resort however when we were shifted we were put at La Flamingo where room charges were 463 per day on discount at your website.

          I have taken screen shots of your website with the details to prove the same and we had told this to Amit your customer service Agent who promised to get back to us about refund of the rest of my money.

          You cannot cheat me like this... Let your bosses know that I want my REFUND

You can book directly on airline website because i[censored] cancel booking the full refund will be directly credited in ur bank a/c in a week. And i[censored] book ticket from make my trip and cancel booking, the airline will credit money to make my trip a/c and they charge heavy cancellation fee and will return some amount in your bank a/c.               I wànted to book a flight ticket through net banking pnb.As there was extra charge for insurance and something else which I did not want to bear, I cancelled the transaction through net net banking and did not enter my transaction password before backing out of netbanking pnb site.yet my account was debited for rs 4565. The second time I transacted successfully using my debit card and was debited the same amount again but this time I recieved my ticket as well. Who is to blame? PNB or makemytrip. Please penalise companies that make fraudulent transactions

                I bought an air ticket for me and my wife for travelling from banglore to trivandrum and the scheduled departure was on september 15, 2016. Payment was made using my credit card. But a few days before the scheduled departure, i received an sms from makemy trip advising me to cancel the booking and do another booking. As i had to visit my parents urgently, i cancelled the booking and made another booking for me and my wife. They promised to refund the money for the first booking with in a week. Now it is more than 4 weeks since i cancelled the first booking. I made many follow ups with makemy trip for the refund. Each time they promised the refund soon. Till now the money is not refunded. Names of passengers are vipul mathew and nikita ann cheriyan.
                I request you to kindly take necessary steps.

                Company has not taken any step so far. I have reminded them many times before I lodge the complaint with consumer complaints. It is almost two months since I cancelled the ticket as per their advice.

                Subject Line: Not Providing Refund For A Cancel lation And Lying

                Nature of Complaint: Hi,
                I purchased 2 air tickets each for flights to and from Trivandrum using Makemytrip.com on the 26th Of July 2016. On the 12th of Aug-2016, I got the following mail stating that Air Pegasus was cancelling many of their flights, of which my flights were also affected.(Mail text pasted below):

                This email is in regards to your booking on Air Pegasus.

                Kindly note that Air Pegasus has cancelled many of its flights indefinitely for some internal issues currently unknown to us. Under these circumstances, we are accepting request for cancellation of flights with full refund.
                However the refund will be processed once we hear from the airlines and the refund is credited to us. We are in constant touch with the airline and will keep you posted on the progress. The same information is available on Airline website- http://airpegasus.in/terms-of-carriage.php"

                On seeing this mail, I contacted Makemytrip to have my tickets cancelled. Please refer Attachments 1 and 2(These are 2 halves of the same page). I was initially told that post cancellation, refund would take 7-10 business days. After waiting for the stated time period and on seeing that the refund was not credited, i contacted Makemytrip Customer Care to know the status of the refund. They then said the refund would reach me by September Mid 2016. September mid then became September end 2016 and later October first week 2016. I still have not received my refund. I was/am feeling agonised by the fact that Makemytrip was just giving me later dates with no sense of desire to have my paid amount returned. I, on my last call with Makemytrip asked why we customers should be made to suffer this indefinite wait when our money was paid to Makemytrip. If they(makemytrip) were so confident of receiving the refund from Air Pegusus, why could Makemytrip not pay us and then take the refund from Air Pegusus as and when they returned it. My entire understanding of the current situation changed after I called Air Pegusus a few minutes ago to ask them in person when the amount would be returned.

                The Air Pegasus representative who talked to me mentioned that no refund request came from Makemytrip all this while for my PNR number(YBXJ8V). He asked me whether he could proceed with the cancellation, to which I said yes. Please refer attachment #3. In this attachment, please refer the box titled "Payment Summary". You will see a cancellation on 5th Oct 2016. This proves the sheer callousness of Makemytrip towards me. Why did they not want to return my money all this while and put me through so much mental torture?

                I sincerely hope that you would be able to help me out in this situation by ensuring that Makemytrip atleast returns the entire amount of Rs8022 paid to them.

As of now MMT has not got the refund from Air Pegasus's and we are following up with the airline.                   Package booked by mr shiv nageem parmar, refund request raised by - mr. Robinson jha.

                  I have raised a request of cancellation of my trip on september 22nd 2016 and i have got my money refund yet. I have called more than 20 times and the customer support says that they will check and call back but no call, even tried reaching robinson and shiv but no result.

                  This is very annoying and as a customer i would never like to use make my trip for any of my travel.

                  I will be filing a legal case against your company by eod if my money is not refunded to my account by 10/07/2016- 7th october 2016.

                  Either it should be prioritize and my money should be refunded back.

                  Your costumer support executives are horrible they don't know to behave, you are harassing the costumers.

                  Its our money in which u are paid your business would haven't be survived without costumer.

                    Hi I have booked an air pegasus flight through make my trip web site on 06th Jul, 2016 from Bangalore to Goa (Round journey). Goa to Bangalore flight was Air pegasus with flight no. OP-162 and pnr no. GMDNCQ.
                    Received couple of mail stating that Air pegagus cancelling their flights and said flight might get cancelled due to their inter policies. One the day of journey (13-Aug-2016) got call from number +91 [protected] at 11:00AM informing flight has been cancelled.
                    I supposed to get full refund of Rs4901/- but as on date it has not been settled yet. I have called several times to make my trip customer care and every time got new date for refund as they haven't received the amount from the airlines. Air pegasus customer care people are least bother to answer the call.
                    It’s been 90 days and no proper response from make my trip. Kindly help me.

                      I am getting the same hotel - shivsagar farm house located at mahabaleshwar at same date from 20 the nov to 25 nov 2016 at a very cheaper rate than booked with make mytrip. My hotel booking for above is nh[protected] for 5 night 1 room (Super deluxe room). I have booked the hotel for rs.7475/- and now i am getting it for rs 4838/-only from goibibo.

                        I have very bad experience of booking tickets with you. As per below confirmation I have booked 2 ticket through you on 11/8/16 at Sameera Travels for Borivali to Kolhapur for dt 3/9/2016.

                        On Journey date 3/9/2016 I called Bus operator on mobile no. provided by you to confirm timing and that time bus operator told that madam this bus has been cancelled and we inform all passenger and return money also. I never received phone or email neither from Sameera travels or Make my Trip regarding cancellation I argue with him, but he told and neither ready to take my call also. I forward SMS received from you at 7.30 pm for journey wishes also.

                        Just imagin what whould happen with me and my son at last minute operator told for cancellation. I request for alternate arrangement also but he denied for that.

                        Due to Ganpati festival all travels are packed, S.T. buses are packed, I am in lot of tension standing at NAtional park till 11 o clock at neight.
                        I make so many calls to travels but not o[censored]se. Ultimately at 12 o clock with private car with other passenger ready to take upto Kolhapur at Rs 2000/- each.

                        Request to refund my money Rs. 4000/- for travelling & phone calls Rs. 200/ totalling to Rs 4200/- earliest at my account which caused because of you.

                          There was an offer that I will not be charged now but I can pay at the hotel directly. I made booking for the same and got an email confirming the same. Yet few hours after the booking, they charged me for the full amount.

                          I contacted customer care and they are not being helpful. Please assist.

                            I booked a flight from Bangalore to Trivandrum through Makemytrip. The air carrier was Air Pegasus. The onward journey date was August 13th 2016. The ticket was booked on 6th July 2016. The operations of Air Pegasus was cancelled within couple of weeks on booking the tickets. Makemytrip cancelled our tickets to Trivandrum and asked us to make other other arrangements. Makemytrip assured us that the entire amount will be refunded within 1 week. It has been more than 45 days since the ticket was cancelled and we are yet to receive our money. Everytime we call makemytrip, their response is that they have not received refund from Air Pegasus and they can refund us the money only when they receive money from the Airline. However Air Pegasus informed us that they have made partial refund to Makemytrip, but Makemytrip is denying this claim. We would like to request both Makemytrip and Air Pegasus to initiate the refund process and give us back the amount.

                            The current issue is not isolated to you but to many others who booked to fly on Air Pegasus through not only MakeMyTrip but other agencies including airline’s own website.

                            When you make a booking, the fare amount is transferred to the airline. When a flight is cancelled or when a passenger decides to cancel, the due amount is received back from the airline which we refund back to the Customer.

                            At this juncture, the airline has not refunded the due amount back to us. I hope you will at least appreciate that we don’t run the airline. The situation of Air Pegasus is well known to all of us. What I can assure you is that MakeMyTrip is not holding your money and never will. The moment we get this back from the airline we will start the refund process. I also assure you once again that the issue is faced by all flyers regardless of where and who they booked their ticket from.

                            We are constantly asking the airline. We will begin refund the moment airline directs us to do so.

                              I had made a booking with id nh[protected] and nh[protected] on make my trip website. On booking site there was stated that "no penalty on cancellation" till the second day before check in. Meanwhile i had a social problem and cancelled the booking. On cancellation they forfieted my whole amount and stated that it was non refundable price which is given in policy. My question is if it is non refundable why it is given on site in big letter that "no penalty on cancellation"
                              They are making customer fool as who reads cancellation policy if they stated "no penalty on cancellation" in big letter on select room page.
                              They make customer fool and on cancellation gives nothing and on calling customer care number they deny to refund and tell to send screen shot what pathetic behaviour. They change their policy at any time.

No refund has been processed from our end as according to the Hotel cancellation policy the booking is non-refundable which is also mentioned on the Hotel voucher sent to customer. Also, in regards to your concern that, we have mentioned on our website that there would be not be any penalty if cancellation done one day prior to check-in. Please be advised that we were running this scheme earlier and this has been closed now. This was applicable for the booking made till 31-May-16. So, we regret to inform you that no refund could be possible on these bookings. If you have any screen shot of the same at the time of booking, request you to please share so that we can validate the same with our relevant team. We thank you for contacting us.

                                I have experience very unprofessional and unplanned behavior from the reps as bookings were not confirmed by them with local tour companies and I had to go through a lot of grief an discomfort during my trip because of the mistakes made by Make My Trip reps, would never recommend anyone to use your service. Also will now make sure to post this entire mail as review for Make My Trip.
                                This trip was a present by me to my husband and because of you guys it became a nightmare.

                                Issues Faced :

                                1) To start off with I was given wrong Airways name for which my flight from Mumbai to Bangkok, attached E-ticket. I was told by Rep flight is for Thai Airways whereas the flight was for Jet Airways.
                                2) When I landed at the Phuket Airport I was made to wait for 3hrs and 45mins for drop to Hotel as the person our drop was clubbed with they had a flight delay. ( reached at 10:30am and left airport at 2:15pm)
                                3) I had Tiger Kingdom booked for the first day for which I had paid extra, because of this drop delay from MMT, the company which had booked cancelled our booking with no refund as the Tiger Kingdom tour was planned for 11:30 am which MMT NEVER informed us about and is no where mentioned in the Voucher provided to us. Voucher attached for reference.
                                Nishant Kumar Singh who was my point of contact told me I will be refunded the money but this never happened.
                                4) On 7th June we were supposed to catch a flight from Phuket to Bangkok and we had a Private Car hotel Transport to Airport booked. We never got the Private Car a shared transport came 30 mins early and when we asked them to wait they left. Later when I checked the voucher I got from Make My Trip it was for a different company all together. When I called the POC they said that Make My Trip never confirmed the booking so the car will not be sent. I had to finally book a private Car myself and pay for it from my pocket as Nishant did not answer my calls at that time and never even called back after multiple msgs he and he told me that the money will be refunded which never happened. Voucher attached for reference.
                                5) While discussion with the Shared transport company because we did not know that they have come to pick us up in error and we were trying to check why our private car was not there the driver and the other couple in the car waiting started screaming and created a huge embarrassment scene which is not what we expected or wanted when we have come to enjoy our trip.
                                6) Once I came back from my trip I tried reaching Nishant multiple times he never answered my call, also he msgd and told me he has requested for refund and will get back to me. Today it has been almost 4 months and he has stopped answering my call and msgs.

                                Nishant who has been fooling me and not replying to my msgs anymore, I hope some action is taken against him as he kept telling me his mother is not well because of which I did not put a bad review or escalate until now expecting he will have the decency to revert back which he never did.

                                Also before my trip I had escalated as once I had booked the trip I did not get any information back from Kajal and has to put a complaint and followup by multiple times just for these vouchers to be shared to me.

When i have complained then they refunded 2425/- and claiming that i have not paid that much as it is showing in the system. They simply making it 50% lesser than their system. Make my trips customer services are pathetic and they are treating customers rudely. Also they are asking me to share my credit card statement...

                                  I booked hotel misty heights, nanital from 23-24 june 2016 on 23 june at 3 pm from make my trip vide booking id no nh[protected].
                                  At the time of booking hotel address was shown on portal is thandi sarak, mall road nanital.
                                  We reached nainital late in the evening and start searching hotel then some body informed us the hotel is 15 km away from mall road and advise us in the late hours not to go because the weather is not good.
                                  We also trying to contact hotel reception at numbers given in the voucher but not get any response.
                                  Finally we book another hotel at mall road and make a request for full refund to make my triip team but till today we did not get any response from make my trip.
                                  When we contact make my trip they accept their fault but not refund any single peny

                                  at the time of booking i select Naini Lake in location and slect this hotel but this hotel is accutaly 12-15 km from the naini lake

                                    I booked my flight on MMT app few days back with booking ID NF[protected] and when the transaction was complete, my itinerary showed booking of different flight on the same day but different timings late at night which I didn't chose.. I immediately tried to modify which asked for rescheduling charges. Game over. Just because of the erroneous application, you need to pay more if you want to again rebook the flight which you want. I also booked hotel before I booked the flight. I explained simple logic that why would a person book late night flight and waste day of the trip when he has booked the hotel for the same day noon check in that too from the same app. But after all explanations, MMT staff is absolutely uncooperative and they didn't help me in their own mistake and it has cost a loss of a day in my trip and waste of money.. This is the 3rd time bad experience for me from MMT. But this time, it was heights. My trip is during early November and I'm looking forward for the positive response. If I don't get it, I would neither use MMT nor recommend to others, in fact will write worst reviews for MMT.

                                    Though very late and after escalating complaints again and again till the management department came in, finally makemytrip helped me and resolved my issue. They communicated with me on phone. Though initially, response was poor and I had to keep on escalating the complaint, at the end, Mr. Pranab Deka from management department helped me and rescheduled my flight. Though I gave him an option to make my stay free of cost for a day if they can't resolve my complaint(which could cost them lesser than rescheduling flight), he took care of my comfort in the trip, and chose to reschedule flight (which cost them much more than the previous option) just to avoid any discomfort during the trip. I really appreciate that. Truly a customer caring response by makemytrip. Only thing which I didn't like was a great delay in response. Every customer might not have this much time before their trip. I thank makemytrip for this. And I would definitely recommend it to everyone after the response I received.
