My name is Rahul Aggarwal and I havebooked a trip to Goa from make my trip with reference Id IN1501B7S012138 on07th January 2015. Initially while booking it was told by agent (Jishan Khan) that airport transfers will not be provided toyou its better to take a taxi for resort after reaching there, But after fewdays of booking he told that sir as you are a valuable customer therefore wewill provide a complimentary pick and drop from airport. Before leaving Delhi I confirmed at 11:45am on 23rd January 2015both from the agent and resort officials that whether a taxi will be providedon my arrival they said yes we have a booked a swift desire and the taxi numberand driver number will be text to you as soon as you will arrive in Goa. On arriving the airport what I found that no one cameto pick me and on calling the resort they simply denied that no suchcommunication was made by our executive. On urge of completion of my trip I again asked the agent that thedrop will be provided or not he again said yes but the officials of the resortstrictly refused to do so and I again paid 1200 to reach to airport. I wantsome strict action should be taken against the make my trip and resort officialsas I have the conversation details and also the taxi receipts.

    Dear Sir, MakeMy Trip will only taking care of new bookings only.They are not interested in booking cancellation. I booked my air tickets in spicejet.Spicejet cancelled his flight and inform me.So I request to spicejet to return my full fare.They agreed on written communication.Parally I also informed to makemytrip but there response in very poor.They replied after 7 days after so many reminders and also they deducted more than half of full fare without knowing anything.I already cancelled my air ticket with spicejet.       I have booked Airline Ticket from makemytrip on 11 Jan and Journey date was 12 Jan. My Booked Ticket ID is NF[protected] and that ticket cost was 13283 rs. I have canceled those ticket on 11 Jan 9:00 P.M (approx). At the time of cancellation the ticket, It was flash on screen, 1750 rs will deduct from your account and remaining will credited within 3-5 working days. On 12 Jan, I got 283 rs refund amount from makemytrip. I called to executive, After listing all the above mention matter, He told, you will get remaining amount within 3-4 working days. After 2 days, Again I called to his executive, But answer was same "Vikash sure you will get 11080 rs after deducting the cancellation charges". I am waiting till today to get my money refund. In between I got call from make my trip, She was telling that you have selected wrong reason while cancellation of ticket. So you mark as no show by airlines. But as per Instruction, whatever he has mention on the back of ticket, I followed and cancel my ticket. I had conversation with 10 executive but each and every one was telling that you will get remaining amount. Please help...

        We have planned a family holiday to Munnar where we have booked three rooms on 21/01/2015, on makemytrip.com (makemytrip complaint Reference ID:[[protected]]), with the travel plan dated 24/01/2015 and we have received E Mail confirmation for hotel Poopada Resort in Munnar. We have arranged for our traveling accordingly with 6 people and 2 infants from Bangalore on 23rd Night by hiring a car through Book Cab.com. What was horrifying when we reached the resort we have been told that there is no such booking in our name and we have been asked to consult make my trip executives for further queries. We with two infants and 6 tired people started calling make my trip executives, asking, requesting rather pleading to let us know about our rooms but every time some new executive have spoken to us and asking for sometime to get the issues heard and resolved. It has taken from 1pm to 4.30, but our problem was not attended hence unresolved. Every time we are being told that we are looking for an alternate which was never been told to us.The last time we have spoken to one executive named Pooja, with a commitment to get back to us in 10 minutes after speaking to the MD of Poopada which is still not been made. At last we have no option left we have started our search for a location to stay which finally ends at a very high cost . In our search of hotel we have wasted our one precious day resulting in extending our stay at Munnar at one more day, hence we have to pay double the cost to our cab service provider. Such type of indifference towards there customers from so called esteemed service provider like make my trip is unpardonable and uncalled for. Would request for the earliest redressel of my issue which includes the refund of my booking amount and the extra amount i have to incur due to the services of make my trip.

          Makemytrip is like a faceless organisation which very conveniently is shrugging away its responsibility. The values that Makemytrip speaks of is Customer Centricity, Integrity, Accountability, Excellence and Respect for People. I think you should revisit these values and remove them or at least accept that the values are just a gimmick. I have called up your customer care 15 times in last 2 days, raised 11 service requests/tickets, escalated couple of them to second level and couple of them to third level, still I do not have an explanation/empathy forget about any resolution. I do not know legally where I stand and you guys will have some convenient way of making me pay for your mistakes and yet be legally right. But nonetheless I will ensure that I make as many people as possible aware of you are doing with customers. Details of my experience with Makemytrip is given below Booking ID: NN[protected] I had booked my tickets from Mumbai to Dubai and back with this Booking ID. I changed my dates of travel from 2/02/15 to 18/02/15 and return dates from 8/02/15 to 28/02/15 on 25th January, 2015 around midnight. The concerned call centre executive who had handled my call was Mr. Amarpreet Singh with mail id Amanpreet.[protected]@makemytrip.com. He said that the change in fare along with all applicable taxes is Rs.7480/- and guided me through the make payment link and we made the necessary payments and transaction showed as successful. Following which he told me that I would receive an e-mail with the changed ticket details with next 6 hours. After 36 hours and several phones calls I have still had not received my changed ticket. Then your executive Ms. Ruma on 26th January, 2015 tells us that there has been an error in the calculation of the changed amount and now I have to pay more. I was very upset with this entire thing and asked her to put in on to a manager. She told me that I will receive a call back from her upline in next 4 hours. As expected I did not receive any call in 4 hours so I again called up around 6:30 PM on 26th January, 2015 and then the executive told me that I have pay an amount of Rs. 17000/- odd more to receive the ticket. I was speechless and very upset. After a lot of argument and discussion she put me on to the floor supervisor named Mr. Jatin Kumar and he very conveniently kept telling me that I need to pay the balance amount to receive the ticket. He told me that such mistakes happen once in a while and I was flabbergasted with his casual approach. Finally after lot of heated argument he said he will revert in 24 hours which I am very doubtful will happen.             I had booked a package tour from Make Mytrip with booking ID - IN1412B6S075723 and service voucher no - NH[protected]. This package tour included hotel, houseboat and sight seeing places at Cochin. I did not get the same hotel as they mentioned on the voucher and the hotel which i got was below par level. Also, per itinerary driver did not take us to all the places mentioned on the voucher. Upon contacting makemytrip did not get proper response. I have been asking someone to call me but haven't received any response. Here is the reference no[protected] for escalation.

              I had booked my domestic flight from Tuticorin-Chennai through Makemytrip.com on 8th October'14. Upon receiving a call from the airlines that the flight was rescheduled we were forced to cancel the tickets as the new timings was not suitable for the connecting flight(from Chennai-Mumbai). Prior cancelling the tickets we were assured full refund as the same was due to the airlines fault. After all the enquiry the tickets were cancelled on 22nd December'14. I had received a refund of 25% of the amount on 22nd Dec'14 ever since i have been calling the Makemytrip customer care religiously every day. Always ended up hearing that my call will be elevated to the concerned department, will received refund in 4 days etc. Its more than 1 months since i have cancelled the tickets and i have still not received the refund. Please help me...i am tired of waiting for the refund and the being put on hold at the customer care toll free number.

              t's been more than a month and my refund has not been done. The case has been escalated to Management Level via Make my Tri portal, but waste of time. I have written an email to Geeta Eral on her personal email id as well, waiting for her to at least respond to my email and give a date when the refunds shall be done.


              Other Concerns.
              1. False commitments from customer care.

              2. On being persistent with them to commit on some time lines, they hung up the phone and you have to again go though the long call center queue to find another bunch.
              3. I have escalated the complaint to management. No body has responded in the middle management till now. it took me few week to climb up the ladder .. Again to hear nothing.
              4. Most pathetic customer service agents i have encountered in my life.

                We booked a package trip with flight and hotel for 15.01.2015 to 17.01.2015 from Chennai to Hyderabad with a "good" but not to expensive hotel.
                Booking mistake: flights where booked for 14.01.
                No sorry, no excuse, no changing from their side, we had to change the booking with Indigo. After hours on the telephone they accepted to promise, they would refund the costs, from that day on no more message, no information, nothing.
                Arrival at the hotel: the nice looking place, on their pictures nice looking, was smelly, dirty, bathroom was not cleaned for years, used bed sheets, nothing was like the pictures makemytrip was showing.
                Again hours on the telephone, again no help, no excuse, not even a "sorry" on the telephone.
                Again they promised to refund money, again we never heard anything from them, again no money arrived on our account.

                  i had booked tickets correctly, paid for them and saw the confirmation details after payment on the last page. then i get a msg from the airlines giving me different dates of tickets booked !! i immediately called and emailed you but have not received a response yet even after 3 days. the dates booked were departure 10th april-12th april return but tickets given were departure 22nd february-12th april !!! this is just a way to get extra cancellation and date chage charges. never ever going to use makemytrip.

                    This is a sheer negligence and I will go for a legal action against it, I have been trying your customer support number for past 2 hrs and and there is no response from the IVR except holding the line.

                    I will go for a legal action and show the importance of customer.

                      I used the Hotel + Flight combo booking for my trip to delhi. My actual travel dates are from 16th to 18th of February. When the payment was done, my confirmation shows that i am flying on February 15 and returning on February 17 and my hotels are booked from February 16th to February 18th. I have been trying to call on the hotline since a week now and have not been helped at all. In fact, i was told that I made a mistake in booking the flight. How is that possible when you enter the dates just once while booking a hotel and flight combo and the hotel reservation dates are right and the flight dates are messed up. It was my birthday on January 20 and i spend 4 hours trying to get through the right person and get a solution to my problem. Everytime the line was transferred to "Concerned Department" which was not answered for 5 times in 2 days. I was told i would receive a call from technical department today, but I did not get any call. I try to reach to the extension of the people whom i spoke to, their extensions do not exist as per the message. I was asked to send an email and would receive a response in 24 hours, it has been 48 hours and no response. Makemytrip.com claims of having a 24 hour service hotline and I still have not received any solution cause the people who could help have left the office by the time i call them as i live in U.S.A. and have a time difference. I have emailed to [protected]@makemytrip.com, but there was no reply from them. Now I am thinking is this a scam? Tremendous amount of inconvenience and trauma has been caused because of your customer service and service in general.

I am unable to search on the site by putting my Booking ID & Contact number. Please send the etickets again via email ASAP. The numbers given on the site are all busy for last 8-10 hrs through high call volumes may be you should increase the size of your contact center as well. Good luck!!!                           I have booked a flight for 7am after booking it turned out to be booked at 7pm by make my trip systems.

                          I have cancelled the flights the next day which was on November 21, 2014. Still waiting for the refund and spoken to more than 10 people and running from pillar to post.

                            I cancelled my tickets on 1st dec 2014 and till now they have not refunded my money back . Amount around Rs. 7000/- . My flights PNR nos. are : 1. E6MYMZ 2. O5142P I contacted spicejet airlines people and they replied me back with the mail that they have processed complete refund for the flight cancellation, and makemytrip people are not refunding my money back giving the excuse that spicejet has not refunded back the money. Please find the screenshots of the reply from spicejet regarding the refund. As an intermediary there duty is to refund back the money, not hold customers money with them . Please try to solve this complaint asap. Thanks

                              Dear sir/Madam, On monday[protected] midnight 11.30 i have booked tickets for round trip from chennai to Delhi. I tried to contact customer care of making changes on the date, but couldn't for the entire night. I even tried on sending mails but response. I booked for the refundable tickets and spicejet guys made it as non refundable ticket as there is no response from makemytrip.com. I would like to get my entire amount including the cancellation charges, since i was not in a position to cancel the ticket itself on that day and also i thought of changing the date of schedule which i was unable to do it due to worst ever service provided by you guys on the concerned date. Because of you guys the amount which was debited from my account has been reflected in my credit card statement and extra amount i need to pay to my bank due to your lack of response. So please provide my entire amount back to my credit card. Else please provide me the confirmation that you are accepting the cancellation charges so that I can apply from my Bank.                                 I was modifying my round trip booking date, on 18 Dec 14 ID-NF[protected] from 02 Jan 2015- 04 Feb 2015 to 02 Jan15- 04 Jan 15 and paid the amount of Rs 14751/- against it but due to some technical problem of makemytrip.com the date change did not occur and my money was showing as extra credit, so you promised me to refund the amount of Rs 14751/- on 18 Dec 14 but till now I have not received my refund or any other conformation I tried to call you number of times but every time i get respond that please wait 8 days, 6 days, 3 days working days. I have also lodged many complaint to escalated it to step 4 also but still theres no respond.                                   I had cancelled my to and fro flight - NF[protected] as onward flight was cancelled by AirAsia on 27th Dec. It has been more than 20 days and they have still not refunded my money. I have escalated my issue with customer care thrice and on Makemytrip website. The customer care keeps saying that wait for 4 more days, we have forwarded your case to concerned team.Customer care Executive said that they are not allowed to transfer call to anyone in Makemytrip office and could not give any details about how we can escalate this or to whom we can talk to about this. This is nothing short of harassment. I would like to know if there is any recourse (legal or otherwise) to get the refund from Makemytrip in case they do not return it by themselves.                                     Below are my Booking Details tickets was booked through Make My Trip, As on 16 Dec my Flight SG-232, PNR M7M7HJ, which was Schedule for 16 Dec, 11:35 hrs got delayed for more than 5+ Hrs and later got canceled, I got my ticket cancelled on Varanasi Spice jet Counter after a receiving a verbal assurance by Counter Staff that I am going to get my full refund of Rs. 3766. (Counter staff didn’t gave any written doc after Cancellation) But after Checking with MakeMyTrip I was informed that only Rs. 1588 is being processed by SpiceJet as refund. which is still awaited from MakeMyTrip. Then for the balance refund Rs.1888 I contacted Spicejet and after follow up they confirmed me on mail for the balance amount has been sent to MakeMyTrip. But after a trail of calls and emails to makemytrip i did'nt received a single penny from them.. Please help!!

                                      I booked a ticket through Make my trip and the ticket was cancelled by the airline(Spice Jet) due to non - operational. Spice jet informed me that since the ticket was booked through Make My Trip, so the amount has been refunded to the them & they would refund it back to me. I got a message dated - 23.Jan.2015 from Make my trip that the amount has been reversed to my bank account, however that didn't happen. I made several calls to them but all in vain. I have still not received my refund.

                                      With reference to all the REFERENCE ID's mentioned below, I didn't received my refund till date, all I got is the reference ID.

                                      I booked the ticket on 22nd January 2015 from Chennai to Hyderabad and Hyderabad to Indore. I cancelled the tickets in last week of February but still the amount has not been refunded.

                                      Despite of continuous reminder and phone calls the refund has not been processed. Almost 2 months has been passed but no action has been taken by your team.

                                      This is the last gentle reminder from my side. If still the amount will not be processed within a couple of days I'll knock the doors of Consumer Forum regarding this.

                                        I had specifically told the guy handling our booking that we wanted a luxury holiday with hotels in the city center. When we arrived in Udaipur our hotel was 30 minutes away from the city center in an industrial area with construction going all around the hotel. When we called to complaint they said they will get back to us and i havent heard from then since then. Its been 4 weeks now. This isnt it, we had a confirmed 5 star hotel reservation in jodhpur. The hotel was 120 km away from the city center, so we would have to travel 5 hours round trip to go to the city center, that isnt it, the hotel was on the highway between jodhpur and jailselmer. There is more, when we checked into the hotel it didnt look like a 5 star so i checked with the reception, they confirmed that its a 3 star resort. How can they cheat us like this? I have all the documents with me. I have already written a complaint online but no response yet. We had to rebook all the hotels ourselves and as it was over christmas new year time we had to pay 4 times the price. I need an email id or an contact detail of someone who can take action against mmt and the people involved who have cheated us.

                                        1. My trip was being handled by
                                        Jay Parekh via email and via phone. When we were discussing our trip details I
                                        had specifically and repeatedly told Jay that I want a luxury holiday with only
                                        4 to 5 star hotels and that the hotels have to be in the city center coz
                                        my husband is Swiss and he would like to explore the city in the evenings,
                                        specially restaurants and shopping places. He assure me that everything is
                                        taken care of and if I have any queried during my trip I can call him or anyone
                                        of his supervisors, he gave me 4 numbers.

                                        2. Till the date we made the payment
                                        everything was fine, jay would reply to my emails immediately. As soon as we
                                        made the payment he wouldn’t reply to me as promptly as earlier. I had to send
                                        him 3 emails to get a reply from him. I wanted him to arrange an airport pickup
                                        from the airport, which he refused coz its not possible. Then I called him and
                                        asked him as to why is it so difficult to arrange an airport pickup when I am
                                        ready to pay, he said he will arrange it and that he would send me a
                                        confirmation. I waited for a confirmation till the morning we were to fly but
                                        didn’t receive any. So I called one of his supervisor and he said he will get
                                        back to me, he didn’t. When we landed there was no car waiting for us. When I
                                        checked with the hotel they said they had no information about the airport
                                        pickup.

                                        3. The first hotel was Hotel Le Seasons
                                        Delhi, when we checked in they didn’t have our room so they upgraded us. The
                                        bed sheets had stains, the toilets were dirty, the sink and the tap had dried
                                        water marks all over them. There was a bucket and a mug for showering and the
                                        tap in the bathroom was leaking so the bathroom was full of water. As we were
                                        on for around 5 hours in that hotel we didn’t say anything. The next two hotels
                                        were ok, but again not in the city center so we mostly stayed in the hotel in
                                        the evenings.

                                        4. In Udaipur we were given The Cambay
                                        hotel, this is when things really got worse. The hotel was 30-40 minutes away
                                        from the city center in an industrial area with construction going around the
                                        hotel. While checking in I asked the reception if we could do anything around
                                        here his exact words were ‘ this is an industrial area, you cant do anything
                                        here’. We checked in the room, the bed sheets again had stains, the bathroom
                                        had used soap, the toilet again was dirty, there were no towels in the room,
                                        the curtain rail was broken and the windows were full of dust bcoz of the
                                        construction. We just couldn’t live in that hotel, that would have been a waste
                                        of our trip to Udaipur. I immediately called up the 4 numbers from Jay’s
                                        supervisors, couldn’t get thru anyone, after trying again and again I got
                                        thru Arpit. I explained to him the situation and said that he should organize
                                        another hotel for us, he said he cant take this decision and that I should wait
                                        for 2 hours and he will try his best to find a solution. We didn’t hear again
                                        from him, when I tried to call him back he didn’t answer neither any of the
                                        other numbers Jay had given us. We checked out immediately. This hotel was so
                                        far away from the city center that we had to pay Rs. 900 for a cab for a one
                                        way trip. This was on 23rd December, we started searching for a
                                        hotel on our own. As it was Christmas eve all the hotels were booked,
                                        eventually we had to book in Fateh Prakash Palace and had to pay around Rs.
                                        75, 000 for 3 nights, which we could have gotten it cheaper if it wasn’t a last
                                        minute reservation. The hotel is Mount Abu was also ok, but not what we had
                                        expected.

                                        5. The hotel in Jodhpur is a 5 star
                                        hotel as per the itinerary. The hotel was 110 km away from the city center, so
                                        If we had to go to the city center we would have to travel 5 hours. To add to
                                        this, the hotel was on the highway, and Jay had given us 2 nights in that
                                        hotel, and that’s not it, when we checked in the hotel didn’t look like a 5
                                        star so I checked with the reception, they said it’s a 3 star resort. We were
                                        so mad and felt cheated, how can he do this to us, and what were we suppose to
                                        do in the resort on the highway that too for two days. That hotel is more of a
                                        stop over place for travelers. This really ruined it for us. We didn’t want to
                                        take a chance of the remaining of our trip being ruined. That is when we booked
                                        all the remaining hotels in the itenary by ourselves, and as it was holiday
                                        season and last minute, we had to pay way more than what we would pay if we
                                        would have booked in advance, but we had not choice coz after being cheated so
                                        bad we didn’t know what awaits us.

                                        6. The only place we couldn’t find a
                                        hotel was in Jaisalmer coz it was 30th December so all the hotels
                                        were booked for new years eve, so we were forced to go to the Prince Of Dunes
                                        Camping. Consideration our past hotels experiences we were dreading going there
                                        but we had no choice as we couldn’t find any other hotel. We had booked a
                                        Deluxe Swiss Tent, when we were brought to the room it firstly wasn’t a tent
                                        and secondly was so basic with just one bed and a table, the room was so dull
                                        and there was no proper lighting, the ceiling had a cloth hanging deco thing,
                                        which was torn and it had old water marks on it. We went into the toilet, there
                                        was no hot water( which I had specifically asked Jay to check and he assured us
                                        that it had all the luxury of a hotel), the basin was leaking, the bathroom was
                                        full of water coz the bucket in the bathroom was broken. The drain on the floor
                                        had hair and dirt from the previous guests. We couldn’t stand there for another
                                        minute. We checked out of the hotel, we had no hotel reservation no where to go
                                        but we just couldn’t imagine spending the night in that camp, it was that bad.
                                        Eventually we had to drive 5 hours at night from Jaiselmer to Jodhpur and stay
                                        in that highway resort.

                                        7. This has been my experience dealing
                                        with makemytrip. The whole year we look forward to our holidays, and people
                                        like Jay ruined it for us only because he wants to make money, he doesn’t
                                        realize the trouble and inconvenience he put us thru, not to forget all the
                                        extra money we had to pay. I had filled in the online
                                        complaint form on 23rd December and
                                        I haven’t got any reply or heard from anyone. Surprisingly when I came back to
                                        Zurich and checked the status of the complaint said resolved, and I had neither
                                        heard from anyone nor did I get any msg or email.

                                        This is my complaint in details.
