We booked a package trip with flight and hotel for 15.01.2015 to 17.01.2015 from Chennai to Hyderabad with a "good" but not to expensive hotel.
Booking mistake: flights where booked for 14.01.
No sorry, no excuse, no changing from their side, we had to change the booking with Indigo. After hours on the telephone they accepted to promise, they would refund the costs, from that day on no more message, no information, nothing.
Arrival at the hotel: the nice looking place, on their pictures nice looking, was smelly, dirty, bathroom was not cleaned for years, used bed sheets, nothing was like the pictures makemytrip was showing.
Again hours on the telephone, again no help, no excuse, not even a "sorry" on the telephone.
Again they promised to refund money, again we never heard anything from them, again no money arrived on our account.
t's been more than a month and my refund has not been done. The case has been escalated to Management Level via Make my Tri portal, but waste of time. I have written an email to Geeta Eral on her personal email id as well, waiting for her to at least respond to my email and give a date when the refunds shall be done.
Other Concerns.
1. False commitments from customer care.
2. On being persistent with them to commit on some time lines, they hung up the phone and you have to again go though the long call center queue to find another bunch.
3. I have escalated the complaint to management. No body has responded in the middle management till now. it took me few week to climb up the ladder .. Again to hear nothing.
4. Most pathetic customer service agents i have encountered in my life.
I request, the management to look into this matter and give my money back. I
