I had cancelled my to and fro flight - NF[protected] as onward flight was cancelled by AirAsia on 27th Dec. It has been more than 20 days and they have still not refunded my money. I have escalated my issue with customer care thrice and on Makemytrip website. The customer care keeps saying that wait for 4 more days, we have forwarded your case to concerned team.Customer care Executive said that they are not allowed to transfer call to anyone in Makemytrip office and could not give any details about how we can escalate this or to whom we can talk to about this. This is nothing short of harassment. I would like to know if there is any recourse (legal or otherwise) to get the refund from Makemytrip in case they do not return it by themselves.     Below are my Booking Details tickets was booked through Make My Trip, As on 16 Dec my Flight SG-232, PNR M7M7HJ, which was Schedule for 16 Dec, 11:35 hrs got delayed for more than 5+ Hrs and later got canceled, I got my ticket cancelled on Varanasi Spice jet Counter after a receiving a verbal assurance by Counter Staff that I am going to get my full refund of Rs. 3766. (Counter staff didn’t gave any written doc after Cancellation) But after Checking with MakeMyTrip I was informed that only Rs. 1588 is being processed by SpiceJet as refund. which is still awaited from MakeMyTrip. Then for the balance refund Rs.1888 I contacted Spicejet and after follow up they confirmed me on mail for the balance amount has been sent to MakeMyTrip. But after a trail of calls and emails to makemytrip i did'nt received a single penny from them.. Please help!!

      I booked a ticket through Make my trip and the ticket was cancelled by the airline(Spice Jet) due to non - operational. Spice jet informed me that since the ticket was booked through Make My Trip, so the amount has been refunded to the them & they would refund it back to me. I got a message dated - 23.Jan.2015 from Make my trip that the amount has been reversed to my bank account, however that didn't happen. I made several calls to them but all in vain. I have still not received my refund.

      With reference to all the REFERENCE ID's mentioned below, I didn't received my refund till date, all I got is the reference ID.

      I booked the ticket on 22nd January 2015 from Chennai to Hyderabad and Hyderabad to Indore. I cancelled the tickets in last week of February but still the amount has not been refunded.

      Despite of continuous reminder and phone calls the refund has not been processed. Almost 2 months has been passed but no action has been taken by your team.

      This is the last gentle reminder from my side. If still the amount will not be processed within a couple of days I'll knock the doors of Consumer Forum regarding this.

        I had specifically told the guy handling our booking that we wanted a luxury holiday with hotels in the city center. When we arrived in Udaipur our hotel was 30 minutes away from the city center in an industrial area with construction going all around the hotel. When we called to complaint they said they will get back to us and i havent heard from then since then. Its been 4 weeks now. This isnt it, we had a confirmed 5 star hotel reservation in jodhpur. The hotel was 120 km away from the city center, so we would have to travel 5 hours round trip to go to the city center, that isnt it, the hotel was on the highway between jodhpur and jailselmer. There is more, when we checked into the hotel it didnt look like a 5 star so i checked with the reception, they confirmed that its a 3 star resort. How can they cheat us like this? I have all the documents with me. I have already written a complaint online but no response yet. We had to rebook all the hotels ourselves and as it was over christmas new year time we had to pay 4 times the price. I need an email id or an contact detail of someone who can take action against mmt and the people involved who have cheated us.

        1. My trip was being handled by
        Jay Parekh via email and via phone. When we were discussing our trip details I
        had specifically and repeatedly told Jay that I want a luxury holiday with only
        4 to 5 star hotels and that the hotels have to be in the city center coz
        my husband is Swiss and he would like to explore the city in the evenings,
        specially restaurants and shopping places. He assure me that everything is
        taken care of and if I have any queried during my trip I can call him or anyone
        of his supervisors, he gave me 4 numbers.

        2. Till the date we made the payment
        everything was fine, jay would reply to my emails immediately. As soon as we
        made the payment he wouldn’t reply to me as promptly as earlier. I had to send
        him 3 emails to get a reply from him. I wanted him to arrange an airport pickup
        from the airport, which he refused coz its not possible. Then I called him and
        asked him as to why is it so difficult to arrange an airport pickup when I am
        ready to pay, he said he will arrange it and that he would send me a
        confirmation. I waited for a confirmation till the morning we were to fly but
        didn’t receive any. So I called one of his supervisor and he said he will get
        back to me, he didn’t. When we landed there was no car waiting for us. When I
        checked with the hotel they said they had no information about the airport
        pickup.

        3. The first hotel was Hotel Le Seasons
        Delhi, when we checked in they didn’t have our room so they upgraded us. The
        bed sheets had stains, the toilets were dirty, the sink and the tap had dried
        water marks all over them. There was a bucket and a mug for showering and the
        tap in the bathroom was leaking so the bathroom was full of water. As we were
        on for around 5 hours in that hotel we didn’t say anything. The next two hotels
        were ok, but again not in the city center so we mostly stayed in the hotel in
        the evenings.

        4. In Udaipur we were given The Cambay
        hotel, this is when things really got worse. The hotel was 30-40 minutes away
        from the city center in an industrial area with construction going around the
        hotel. While checking in I asked the reception if we could do anything around
        here his exact words were ‘ this is an industrial area, you cant do anything
        here’. We checked in the room, the bed sheets again had stains, the bathroom
        had used soap, the toilet again was dirty, there were no towels in the room,
        the curtain rail was broken and the windows were full of dust bcoz of the
        construction. We just couldn’t live in that hotel, that would have been a waste
        of our trip to Udaipur. I immediately called up the 4 numbers from Jay’s
        supervisors, couldn’t get thru anyone, after trying again and again I got
        thru Arpit. I explained to him the situation and said that he should organize
        another hotel for us, he said he cant take this decision and that I should wait
        for 2 hours and he will try his best to find a solution. We didn’t hear again
        from him, when I tried to call him back he didn’t answer neither any of the
        other numbers Jay had given us. We checked out immediately. This hotel was so
        far away from the city center that we had to pay Rs. 900 for a cab for a one
        way trip. This was on 23rd December, we started searching for a
        hotel on our own. As it was Christmas eve all the hotels were booked,
        eventually we had to book in Fateh Prakash Palace and had to pay around Rs.
        75, 000 for 3 nights, which we could have gotten it cheaper if it wasn’t a last
        minute reservation. The hotel is Mount Abu was also ok, but not what we had
        expected.

        5. The hotel in Jodhpur is a 5 star
        hotel as per the itinerary. The hotel was 110 km away from the city center, so
        If we had to go to the city center we would have to travel 5 hours. To add to
        this, the hotel was on the highway, and Jay had given us 2 nights in that
        hotel, and that’s not it, when we checked in the hotel didn’t look like a 5
        star so I checked with the reception, they said it’s a 3 star resort. We were
        so mad and felt cheated, how can he do this to us, and what were we suppose to
        do in the resort on the highway that too for two days. That hotel is more of a
        stop over place for travelers. This really ruined it for us. We didn’t want to
        take a chance of the remaining of our trip being ruined. That is when we booked
        all the remaining hotels in the itenary by ourselves, and as it was holiday
        season and last minute, we had to pay way more than what we would pay if we
        would have booked in advance, but we had not choice coz after being cheated so
        bad we didn’t know what awaits us.

        6. The only place we couldn’t find a
        hotel was in Jaisalmer coz it was 30th December so all the hotels
        were booked for new years eve, so we were forced to go to the Prince Of Dunes
        Camping. Consideration our past hotels experiences we were dreading going there
        but we had no choice as we couldn’t find any other hotel. We had booked a
        Deluxe Swiss Tent, when we were brought to the room it firstly wasn’t a tent
        and secondly was so basic with just one bed and a table, the room was so dull
        and there was no proper lighting, the ceiling had a cloth hanging deco thing,
        which was torn and it had old water marks on it. We went into the toilet, there
        was no hot water( which I had specifically asked Jay to check and he assured us
        that it had all the luxury of a hotel), the basin was leaking, the bathroom was
        full of water coz the bucket in the bathroom was broken. The drain on the floor
        had hair and dirt from the previous guests. We couldn’t stand there for another
        minute. We checked out of the hotel, we had no hotel reservation no where to go
        but we just couldn’t imagine spending the night in that camp, it was that bad.
        Eventually we had to drive 5 hours at night from Jaiselmer to Jodhpur and stay
        in that highway resort.

        7. This has been my experience dealing
        with makemytrip. The whole year we look forward to our holidays, and people
        like Jay ruined it for us only because he wants to make money, he doesn’t
        realize the trouble and inconvenience he put us thru, not to forget all the
        extra money we had to pay. I had filled in the online
        complaint form on 23rd December and
        I haven’t got any reply or heard from anyone. Surprisingly when I came back to
        Zurich and checked the status of the complaint said resolved, and I had neither
        heard from anyone nor did I get any msg or email.

        This is my complaint in details.

          Refund Credited Partially Rs. 9892 instead of Full Amount Rs. 28926 for Cancelled Flight. I purchased three Bangalore to Chandigarh Return Flight ticket from MakeMytrip which was a Spicejet Flight both way pertaining two different PNR numbers (1 for two passengers and one for 1 passenger). After receiving an cancellation intimation of onward flight from Spicjet I cancelled both the PNRs directly from Spicejet customer care as I could not reach MakeMytrip even once in 7 days even after raising repeated complaints and the alternate flight provided by Spicejet was not working with me and I had to cancell the complete journey. Then I intimated the same in Makemytrip website on 16th December 2014. I received the partial refund of Rs. 9892 instead of Full Amount Rs. 28926. Since then it's almost 20 days I'm wrting repeated mails to MakeMytrip as well as Spicejet without any resolution till today. MakeMytrip is responding saying they are unable to credit the balance amount for one PNR for which MakeMytrip has not received the refund yet. Spicejet's response is if the ticket is baught from agent, I should receive the refund from agent only. There is not no terms & conditions in my ticket purchased from MakeMyTrip regarding this refund policy at all. Also I bought the ticket from MakeMyTrip and hence I need the refund immediately from MakeMyTrip only and I really do not care about their process of getting refund. MakeMyTrip is doing a travel business without even taking the responsibility of such situations.               I Had booked a Bust which was shown under the category of Volvo. But after booking the Bus Type changed to AC Sleeper. That was tolerable. But upon the arrival of th ebus, I found out that the Bus was not only in the worst of the condition - The AC wasnt doing its job and the condition of the bus in general was appalling. I was charged 2100 for Bus journey from Ahmedabad to Jodhpur. As a result of this, I tried contacting Makemy trip multiple times but they never cared to reply to me properly.

                Refund not credited into my account since 29 NOV 2014 Booking ID: NF[protected] PNR VCGD9K was cancelled on 29 Nov 14 at 11.30 AM but no refund was instead till today After so many conversation pleas help me in this regard

                  I book flight from bangalore to hyderabad on 26th nov 2014 and cancelled it before specified time. When i called customer care they told me like i will get 3700+ as refund amount. After few days when i called them back again they told like i did not attend flight and will get only 1100+ amount. Today is[protected] and still my money is not been credited back. Meanwhile when i tried to contact customer care waited for hours hours and 1 week continuously nobody pick my call. Only few days back they pick my call, after telling reference number they said like their systems not working please call me after some time, after 2 days i called them again after telling complaint number they repeated same like their systems are not working. I told him "IF YOU DONT RESOLVE MY COMPLAINT NOW EVERYDAY 20-30 TIMES I WILL CLICK ON YOUR GOOGLE ADDS" the next moment he asked me to wait for a moment and after some time he told like within 6 hours i will get callback and told that his systems started woking now :), today is 5th day nobody called me. i guess "book flight ticket online" keyword will cost him 100-200/- per click. Till the time he refund my money back i will click on his google ads atleast 20-30 times per day from different systems and different browsers that too cleaning cache regularly to avoid google click bot. my booking reference number is: NF[protected]. This is the best way to slap him

                    Dear Sir, Below is my case ; I belong to low income group ;its my hard earn money I have been following up with make my trip since 13 th dec to return my money ; its has been more than a month, they are harassing me & not responding to any mails Following are highlights of the case ; 1. It was medical emergency for which I was travelling ; spice jet was non considerate & did not let me fly or accommodate me in any other flight even after pleading them at the airport & it was harassing ; this is how they treat a passenger in need !!! 2. Spice jet had cancelled flight ## SG 401 Mumbai ( BOM ) to Vishakhapatnam ( VTZ ) on 13th Dec 2014 ; Neither spice jet nor Make my trip had not informed thru any msg or mail ; a night before when I had called up airport their official had confirmed flight was on time 2 .Post follow up I had mail from spice jet on processed full refund ... but Make my trip had sent me invoice copy where I was still charged cancellation fee of Rs 2566/- ??? If air line has refunded full amount to make my trip ...why is MAKE MY TRIPN charging customer being a third party ... what role Make my trip plays in all this 3. My entire trip was cancelled due to spice jet's non operation flight issue ... then why shall i pay return trip cancellation fee of Rs 2566 /- ; the same was confirmed with your supervisor 4. For This when i called up Make my trip Customer care person Mr . Sushant, he disconnected the call without proper understanding of issue ; Is this how you treat your customer's ; I have been following with you guys with numerous mail for the refund for last 35 days !!! 5. I Have written 18 mails since last one & half months, there has been no response Please help me!!! I belong to a low income group I need my hard earned money

                      i havent got refund for my cancelled flight since one month the cancellation reference number is IN1412R6S176866. the make my trip booking id is NF[protected]. I had booked my tickets for Rs 17, 499.00 and it means a lot of money to me. As i had to spend more money because of the delayed flight from spice jet and also that i had not got this money, i am facing an financial breakdown. also my repeated complaints at make my trip is falling in deaf ears witout any repl or status update.

                      For me also same thing is happening, Do one thing daily 10 -20 times click on his google ads for keyword (book flight ticket online) so he will be charged 100-200/- per click. Inform to him the same thing so he will come to your way.

                        dear sir, On 31 Dec '14, 16:55 Hrs I booked a ticket for Bangalore to pune departing on sunday11th and my Booking ID: NF[protected]. later i had a change of plan and decided to cancel the ticket.On while cancelling makemytrip.com recommended two options one is refunding amount to mywallet and other to my bank account and it also said refunding to mywallet is an instant process and i will receive my money soon and so I clicked the option of refunding money to mywallet but its been 2weeks from the date of cancellation and i still had not received any refund from makemytrip.com and there is no proper reply from the customer care...plz look after my complaint ..I have provided photo proof along with this complaint for verification and plz plz do the needful. regards Subin Mathew

                          booking id NN[protected] booking email : [protected]@gmail.com name : vivek madhusudanan contact number : [protected] I missed the jet airways flight from kochi to dubai on 15/01/2015 even after getting the boarding pass, stating the reason that the airline did not received visa message from dubai.I booked the ticket throughmakemytrip.com on december 17, 2014 and at the time of booking, i have updated my visa informations.It was not my fault for this and i called the customer care requesting for the date change and they told me to waut for 48hrs.I still didnt get any response from them and i called them again and this time they told to wait for 2 minutes for checking it with the airline.after waiting for more than 5 minutes, the call was disconnected by them.The customer service is worst and my complaint is escalated to the management level, but still there is no response. i request for a quick response and provide me the date change as i am going for visit visa, i am losing my days.                           I made a mistake while Booking ID -NF[protected] on MakeMyTrip.com, I had to book return flight for 25th May DEL to LKO & return on 22nd July Lko to Del for 2 passengers, through JetAirways. By mistake I chose the date as 24th May 2015 from DEL to LKO which was supposed to be for 25 May. This return ticket was booked on 18th Feb.I contacted MakeMyTrip.com call center on 19th after 10 hrs of booking the ticket's informing about my mistake & do the necessary changes. They are asking for INR 3500 (Airline Rs.1500+ Rs. 250(make my trip)) to make these changes as a penalty. Where is one ways flight charges is just Rs 3300.

                          MakeMyTrip.com call center rep stated that they can not make the changes without penalty however I can contact airways to see if they can do the changes with out penalty.
                          JetAirways says that you have booking the ticket with MakeMy Trip & they can make the changes.
                          You had ZERO penalty if you cancel date changes within 24 hrs If you had booked the tickets through us. The price for the tickets with them is also the same.
                          Booked flight is after 3 months, all I am requesting is to see if my case can be presented to Jet airways & they can accommodate the request.

                          I have paid 7, 374+ 700 (Convenience fee): Total of Rs 8, 074. Hence if for any changes with in 24 hr I am paying Rs 3500 one way (& Rs 7000 if I am making changes both ways). If I cancel the ticket, As a penalty, I am loosing INR 7200 & also losing on the convenience fee of 700, means total of Rs 7900. Where in cost of ticket is just 7, 374.

                            This is regarding the booking id NF[protected] & I booked 9 tickets of spice jet airlines dated Thu 25th Dec '14 from Amritsar to Srinagar & same 9 return tickets from Srinagar to Amritsar dated Tue 30th Dec '14. In total I paid Rs 40, 353 to makemytrip using HDFC Bank Credit Card. After a few days I got a sms from spice jet airlines that flight has been cancelled due to non operational issues. I called spice jet & asked regarding the issue of cancelled flights. Theyconfirmed that they have cancelled by tickets & refund has already been sent to makemytrip in the month of december. But makemytrip is saying that they have not received the money & they are not refunding my money for last 1 month. I have tried to call their customer care at least 8-10 times. Every time they put the call on hold for 10-15 mins & they have no answer regarding the refund. I am here attaching the screen shot of the confirmation message from spice jet that they have already sent the money to the agency (makemytrip) & even they have mentioned the agency account number where they have set the money.                                 I had a bad experience booking a ticket for a 2 day stay on Make my Trip. However my trip was excellent as the hotel was very good. Im very upset to see that MMT has edited my review which I have submitted on the portal. The request for a review was sent by Make my trip to my email and I genuinely filled the same. I was surprised to see that they have edited the same. They have removed the words/sentences which talks about my bad experience on the portal booking the ticket and the conversations I had with the customer service agent. IF YOU CANT POST A REVIEW GIVEN BY A CUSTOMER, THEN WHY ASK FOR IT ??!!! I am now a firm belieiver that these reviews on portals like these cant be 100% accurate as they are riggged by these companies. WHAT A SHAME !!! :(

                                  I have purchased two return tickets of Delhi Leh of coming September from this so called popular site on 27 Dec. 2014. Next day they informed me that due to card blocking this transaction was not approved and without any reason they cancelled my ticket and informed me that almost whole amount which was more than 8 thousands were charged for cancellation and spending about 8.5 thousand rupees only 262 Rs.were told to refund me. Today after more than two and half week when i contact their CC they informed me that we will refund your whole amount.. Now my concerns are.. Why they cancelled my ticket if they already booked my ticket and received whole amount to be paid. Why didn't they inform me that what reason for cancellation was there.. If I have not asked for cancellation of tickets than why were they charging the cancellation charges from me earlier.. After charging Rs 500 on every transaction.. Why are they doing such nonsense acts.. I am totally frustrated and will see them in the court very soon.

Where as amount was debited from my account.. Today after almost after 3 weeks when i contacted the CC of MMT. They informed me that due to timing gap.. the ticket were cancelled.. and full ampount will be refunded soon.. This is so disgusting from so called famous company that.. 1. They do not inform me for so long that where my amount is.. and sent me the statement of cancellation as Rs. 262 to be refunded. where as they received Rs. 8460. 2. If once the amount was received by them.. How can ticket be cancelled. 3. They even need not to inform me why this was happened. Spice Jet has confirmed that the entire refund has been credited to you while you mention that it is kept on hold. Dont be beating around the bush and it is not correct to trade and retain others money if you have received the refund which is given to understand by spice jet.                                       i book a My International Flight Ticket with online MakeMyTrip.com Booking id NN[protected] and Flight is Air Seychelles Schedule on 03 Feb 2015 to 01 March 2015 Return ticket from Dar Es Salaam to Mumbai and Mumbai to Dar Es Salaam

                                      i am successfully on board travel at Dar es Salaam to Mumbai on 03 Feb 2015 but i miss my flight on 01 march 2015 from Mumbai to Dar Es Salaam
                                      and that day i was complaint on Make My Trip for rescheduling my Travel and that time they ignor me for the same and tell me wait for 72 hours but after many days there is no any action no any reply i again and again call to make my trip customer care but always they told me like that please wait for 72 hours and then after 20 days i visit the Make my trip office for the solution but also they told me we can&#039;t help you should call to customer care.

                                      my all days delay everyday i faced the new problem and everyday i miss my work and job and my salary my reputation at job is very bad
                                      and then i told to customer car you do it or just tell me yes or no again they refuse me and don&#039;t give any answer and then i decide to book another ticket and just go
                                      this make my trip guys make me fool and cheat me and play with my time and emotion and wasted my time, money, everything

                                      after all things they told me this ticket is non-refundable but we can refund to which is Service tax and other tax so it will be approximately 8000 to 10000 give us time to talk with airline
                                      again and again i call customer care but don&#039;t get any result from Make My Trip
                                      i am frustrated with this guys to getting my problem solve out
                                      and now from the 20 april 2015 they told me like that

                                        I have booked spice jet ticket from Visakhapatnam to Hyderabad on 15th Dec 2015 and Spice jet cancelled the flight. I called spice jet and asked them to process the refund and they confirmed that the refund is processed after 2 weeks and provided the transaction numbers for the same. However as I booked the tickets through makemytrip.com website I contacted them and they initiated the refund. Even after 1 month they have not credited the cancellation amount and keep on insisting that Spice jet is yet to provide the refund charge to them and once they provided we will credit the same. I have looped spice jet authorities in the communication with makemytrip and attached the spice jet executive written confirmation that the refund is sent to makemytrip with the transaction numbers. However even till date makemytrip says we did not receive the refund and this is pending for hundreds of spice jet customers and they are working with spice jet airline authority on the refund. I would like to know the next steps. I am extremely dissatisfied with the makemytrip authorities and spice jet authorities as they are making the customer to wait for months and not providing refund amount.
