I bought a indigo flight ticket delhi to gauhati and return through makemytrip. Makemytrip booking id -an[protected]
Name: mercy john, airline pnr refkhk
Date of travel: mon, 04 april 2016

The ticket clearly shows that the baggage allowance is 20kg but at the airport indigo informs me it is a mistake made by makemytrip that the baggage allowance is only 15kgs. After arguments and explanations with the manager at indigo airlines, i had to pay for excess baggage fare for 3 kgs, rs [protected]@ rs250 per kg.

Since the mistake is from makemy trip, i would like a refund of the amount.

    I have booked an air ticket to Ahmadabad for my friend in January 2016. the details of booking are as follows:- Date of travel - 07.04.2016, Booking ID - NF[protected]. The charges debited to bank account is Rs 4809/-. Due some reason my friend said to cancel the air ticket and i cancelled on 20.03.2016 and recd a msg that they have recd cancellation request for make my trip booking ID NF[protected]. The request has been submitted and a refund of Rs 2809 will be processed within 5 working days. Its been more than 20 days I have not recd the refund amount and its not reflecting in my bank account.
    Kindly revert back on this and help us to get back the refund amount at the earliest.

    In reference to your complaint, we have validated your case with our concerned department and found that on 20-Mar-16 passenger has done cancellation of his booking and on the same day refund of Inr 2809/- has been processed from our end on automation. We have received a refund reference number#[protected] from Payment gateway against the refund transaction. If in case refund is still not reflecting in your account we request you to please share your bank statement since date of transaction to till date so that we can validate this with your bank.

      I have booked Andaman tour with booking ID IN1510B5S245441 from retail store at bund garden Pune. Ruby Siddiqui who is travel assistance at makemytrip bund garden retail store, committed to provide invoice post said journey.


      I would like to get travel certificate with airline fair for my LTA claim. Please do needful.

        Sir,
        Took a flight +hotel booking at 3.30 pm, the hotel booking says 2 pm of the same day as check in time and check out the next day 12 pm..While the flight is at 8.30 pm of the same day to reach the hotel...

        This is unethical and the customer care just hangs the phone and gets away.The most unethical aspect of make my trip of day light robbery...

        One mr.Anoop hung the phone and the other miss.Shatabdi speaks all sugar coated but doesnt do the required thing.

        One insisting they go confused.Pathetic and the most horrendous response ..If makemy trip founders have anything called "values" given by their parents ..Please do some ethical business...

          We had exchanged multiple phone calls with a customer attendant at makemytrip and finally asked her to give us the final amount to be paid for the spanish delight tour so that we could go ahead and make the payment and secure our bookings.

          However the very next day, as we did not receive a response from the attendant by the name himanshi goradia, we called her multiple times after which she finally took our call and told us that the package is sold out.

          We were entirely relying on makemytrip for all our bookings as a result of which we are now getting much higher rates everywhere.

          Extremely disappointed with this kind o[censored]nprofessionalism on the part of your staff, given you are a service based industry.

              According to mmt refer and earn offer you get 1000 inr if you refer a friend and they install the app and additional 800 inr when they make their first booking.
              I have referred 2 friends and they further made booming and they got cashback for that but i did not get any. I called the customer care and they are behaving rudely and not responding to my query.
              One customer service personnel said i had 2750/- cashback in my wallet but as my internet is slow it's not showing on my computer and told me to refresh the page and check. The customer care personnel are very bad at their duty and rude. Why put an offer when you dont provide it.

                Make my trtip has advertised they give one free hotel night after 4 completed bookings and 2 free hotel nights after 8 completed bookings. When i finished 8 completed bookings they initially did not give vouchers for free hotel nights. When i called many times, finally when they gave voucher codes they did not work.
                Beware of make my trip. They do not deliver their promises.

                  I booked my ticket from chittoor to hyderabad on 13.04.2016 at 1:03pm in makemytrip .com with my syndicatebank dr card my rs2000/- were debited to my account and my tickets were not confirmed . I got a message that my tickets are canceeled and amount will be returned in 7 days or next billing whichever is later.

                  If these people will do like this how can i do my journey if they will debit and wont return my amount

                    This is regarding booking id in1508b4s438682i have booked an international holiday package to dubai through "makemytrip" on 10-sep-2015, where i am entitled for 10, 000rs cash back within 24 days citi bank and 5000rs voucherit's now 6 months completed but still i haven't receive my cashback which is supposed to be rs 10, 000rsi have raised this issue with customer delight team, and called more than thousand times and mail also they are neither responding to my mails nor attending my calls giving proper information, although before going for the payment i personally confirmed about cashback offer and voucher offer sevral times from makemytrip ms disha walia who booked my package make me sure about this cash back offer and i got the assurance that whatever is mentioned in the mail makemytrip is entitle to give that no need to worry about that. I have all emails and call records as proof by heri did the payment as directed by the travel expert who was taking care of this package and apply the deal code.But now the kind of issue i am facing and the stress which has been created becuase of the attitude and ignorance of makemytrip it not at all accepted at all.This is unnecessarily creating mental pressure and every time i think of, where to reach out to get the solution.Till date i haven't receive my cashback.Nobody is responding this was not expected from big brand campany makemytrip for such a normal amount as per trip experience it was a bitter experience total altogether different experience things which were promised did not happen (Wifi -room category) felted totally cheated still have email communications records. please see to this matter sincerely and give justice kindly resolve my issue on urgent bases.Regardsnavneet kaur

                      This mail is in reference height of mismanagement and in professionalism to the attached booking done in which we have suffered tremendous mental trauma and wastage of money because of bad behaviour from mr. Hira lal bhojwani and your customer services where in i had booked two hotel in hotel him queen for the 25th march 2016 to 27th march 2016 and when we reached to hotel hotel staff straightway rejected that no booking was made and we were made to wait for more than 4 hours wasting my complete day which we have planned for my personal outing.

                      Few conversation recorded by me has also been attached for your ready reference hope this much will be suffice for the verification.

                      My infant kid also suffer a lot because of this.

                      When we contacted your customer care we were assigned with your manager or executive whosoever it may be to sort out the issue and we called nearly about 20-30 times but he never came up to neither neither called us as promised there after we were in mercy of the hotel owner who is good person and helped us in getting hotel that night but we paid twice the amount and my day got wasted and inspite of knowing fact that we were with infant child your customer care executives straightway rejected our call.

                      Kindly reimburse my money to me and i am going to sue you as this is totally inhuman not accepted behaviour shown by makemytrip who spoiled my trip to dharamshala.

                      I made multiple payments and no-one was listening to us even hotel staff was behaving bad excluding the owner who helped us to get the hotel at escalated rate but yes he helped.

                      Hope to get the revert soon in two days else i am filing case in consumer court and looking have good or bad consequences to such irresponsible makemytrip team.

                        This is a simple case of cheating by makemytrip. First these guys have charged me 699 inr against my booking as convenience charges.That is relatively quite high if i compare with other service providers, instead i would have personally visited any travel agency and booked my ticket.

                        After a rigorous followup they refunded me 50 inr. But if i wouldn't followed up with these guys i might be cheated by paying 699 inr instead 649 inr (What these guys have confirmed me are the convenience charges for online booking service).This is not all about money but the way these guys are cheating peoples.

                        This is only the one case with me, i don't know how many people these guys are fooling by playing this trick.As people might not have time to followup.

                        This is just an awareness message for people as i know they are not going to take any action in this regards :)

                          I had booked a Chandigarh - Shimla - Manali package from MakeMyTrip website, with customizations done. However, after the booking, I never got an itinerary, even after repeated calls to their call centre. Every time I called, the agents gave some disjoint information and never took the ownership. Yatra and other travel sites are so much more friendly and transparent to the customer. MakeMyTrip is best avoided.

                            We went to the hotel last night (12/2/16) but the hotel was below acceptable conditions. The rooms smell bad and they were dirty. There was even a 20 cm hole on the wall of one bathroom. We moved to another hotel. The receptionist agreed on a full refund and told us to contact makemytrip.com . So we did, we got a response 1 month later that it is too late to ask for refund, we told them that hotelier agreed to refund and that we never stayed in that hotel but never got our money back.
                            Stay away from makemytrip.com they are filthy liars and scammers.

                              Hi,
                              I would like to bring your attention towards make my trip(Makemytrip.com),
                              At the time of booking the flight ticket yesterday on 9th april 2016, it was noticed that the fare of spicejet (Sg-488) was refundable. After booking the ticket i changed my travel plan and cancelled the ticket. The money that was refunded to me was 399 rupees only from 5280 rupees. I had a talk with spicejet customer care and they told me that they have cut the cancellation charge of 2500 rupees and have refunded all the rest of amount to makemytrip.com.
                              Wen i called make my trip they answered me rudely and said that money was not refunded by spicejet and they have only 399 rupees to refund.
                              Wen i asked them what's the problem then the guy rahul answered in a rude way and said that they will not refund the money as it was non refundable. When i said i have kept the screenshort of the flight details then he said give us 48hrs we will see. Till now no confirmation msg has been received.
                              Hope this complaint of mine will bring focus to ward's the fraud and cheap profit making activity of make my trip.

                                I have planned a trip to manali via your portal. My booking id is :- nl[protected]. I just want to change my existing hotel to "solang valley resort". My travel expert is telling me to wait for couple of hours and it has been almost two days and there is no reply from your side.Extremely dissapointed with your service. I am having reservation over planning my future trips through your portal. Kindly look into these matter urgently....

                                I booked connecting Indigo flights from Kozhikode to Lucknow with a halt in Mumbai on 28 March 2016 and date of journey was 3 April 2016. After the booking was made, I found out that they have made booking on two flights and hence provided me two PNR s which are as follows: MDJ6MN for Kozhikode to Mumbai & NY6IQJ from Mumbai to Lucknow. I was carrying a lot of luggage (52 kgs) with me and was traveling alone, but because I had two PNR s and that means two different tickets, I had to collect my luggage at the Mumbai airport and pay for extra luggage twice, once while boarding plane in Kozhikode and again while boarding in Mumbai. Hence in total I had to pay Rs, 11, 000 for my luggage, which could have been just half of the amount had, they booked it on one PNR, which generally happens when we book connecting flight.

                                  I booked the hotel ibis style mangga dua jakarta and i got confirmed email and hotel voucher that my booking has been confirmed. After one day i got email from your staff mr. Rajan yogee that makemytrip couldn't conformed my booking and they want to give me the another alternative hotel. But i don;t want that hotel. I want the same hotel and don't want to change it.
                                  I already confirmation number and hotel voucher if you don't give me the same hotel.

                                    Hi,

                                    I had thought over writing this complaint mail several over the past 10 days time, eventually I end of drafting this email after having lost all hopes in getting things resolved from your end.

                                    I had initially contacted MakeMyTrip regards this particular package to Sri Lanka on 12th March and had got a quote to which I had a few clarifications for which I did send an email on the 13th March. For which I did not receive any response until 15th March, I got things clarified and confirmed the package at a price of Rs. 70, 000 after the discounts (offers on credit card, special discount, cash backs, etc.). Once I had confirmed this package and was waiting for further formalities, you rep (my point of contact - Neha Rana) contacts me and lets me know that the package is no more available at the price which I had just confirmed a few hours ago because you guys or the hotel people or whosoever have changed the pricing and it would now cost me Rs. 76.662. Now make a note I had to bear this additional amount just because there was a delay in response from your end or else I could have got this package at 70k.

                                    Anyhow since the dates I had planned were almost near I didn't want to waste much time over an argument and went ahead and confirmed the booking. On 15th March, in the evening Neha gives me a call stating I should make 50% of the payment the same day or else would not be able to get the package at the confirmed price and so I do make the payment late at night. She had requested me to provide the names and passport copies of the passengers, to which I did mention I would send out the passport copies the first thing next morning and provided her the names of the passengers. The very next morning I send her the passport copies and later requested her to provide me with the flight tickets and hotel booking vouchers so that I could have details of the same with me. I requested for flight tickets so that I could make my arrangements for being available at Chennai from where the package commences. At this point of time your rep states the confirmation and booking would only be available 3-4 days prior to departure and no info can be provided before that. Then there was no further communication until 21st March where your rep asks for the remainder of the 50% payment, which I do.

                                    Now once the 100% payment has been made and when I'm waiting to receive my flight tickets, hotel vouchers and cab vouchers; on 26th March I receive a call from one of your reps (Alok Kumar) stating that the names are not identical to the details on the passport and I need to pay another Rs.6000 to have this corrected and travel. I was completely stuck at that point with no words to comment on this; when I had provided the passport copies why should there be any point of having that mistake. To this question of mine, the answer I received was the ticket was booked on the same day I had made the 1st 50% of the payment; i.e.; 15th March with the info I had provided wherein the last name for the second name where initials (in the passport the last name was the initials expanded; i.e.; instead of V.S it was Vishwambaran Sheeba on the passport). In the first place, your rep never informed that the details were for flight ticket booking neither did she inform the concerned team to wait for the next day to make the flight bookings once the passport copies would be received. Keeping this aside, at least when I did request for the copies of the flight ticket your rep could have stated this mistake which they never did until 100% of payment was made; when enquired about this I was given a very unsatisfactory reply; i.e.; your people were communicating with the airlines people to have this issue sorted out for more than 10 days. This reason is truly not acceptable, however I eventually made the payment so that at least I could make the travel possible after going through all this mess-ups and goof-ups that you guys created for me to make this trip a memorable one.

                                    I ended up making an additional payment of Rs. 5000 to have names corrected for both passengers as suggested by your rep (Alok Kumar). When the payment was made I had requested Alok to forward a copy of the confirmation mail so that this time I’m aware that there are no mistakes and have issue corrected immediately with no further delay. The fun part is when I did receive the amended air tickets the issue had been just with the 2nd passengers name which was corrected and the 1st passengers name was unchanged ( I had mentioned about this to your reps that the 1st passenger’s name requires no change but the rep insisted that they could go ahead with no change if I would take care of responsibility incase of any issues to avoid further chaos I agreed to the rep). When I raised this concern with your rep (Neha Rana), she had informed that she would check with team and incase name change is not required would get back to me with an update and would refund Rs. 2, 500 (the payment made for name correction of the 1st passenger). Since then I have not heard back from any of your reps.

                                    I tried contacting the phone numbers I’ve been provided but have not been able to get any sort of assistance. So at this point I’m completely disappointed, frustrated and very very very unhappy at the service I received. The reason I did turn to MakeMyTrip was because of my previous great experiences I had with trip organized via MakeMyTrip wherein I had a point of contact who did take care of all necessary bookings from day one of contact until the trip was completed and answered to all my queries with no delay.

                                    At this point of time, I’ve arrived at a conclusion that is incase I do not receive the confirmation flight tickets and all necessary vouchers I would need for this travel by end of day I would not like to proceed any further with MakeMyTrip arranging this travel and would like to get a 100% refund on the amount I have paid (Rs. 81, 662.00).

                                    I expect to receive a response for this particular email of mine ASAP.

                                    How do you say the concern has been resolved when the concern had never been addressed by anyone from your team. I've been waiting all this while for someone to respond from your end.

                                    I would not want this case closed untill I get a reply from your team for all the inconvinience I had to go through.

                                    I've made up my mind never to approach your team for any other booking of mine

                                      Hi Team,

                                      I booked a flight ticket (Ref NO-NF[protected] from Bangalore to Delhi on 18 March 2015.
                                      I cancelled it on 14 March.Amount which should i received will be approx Rs 2400.But i get only 374 and rest money they in put their wallet and saying its term and conditions.I need proper solution for this type fraud activities.
