I had booked a tkt for 10 Jan BA 138 BOM - LHR, BA 285 LHR- SFO through make my trip before booking i had asked the travel agent name MR. Navi Hussain are the pax travelling to USA on tourist visa, travel agent said yes and he booked my tkt on 26th december . then after some days i had got message from BA that covid test is required before travelling so for confirmation of procedure i had called make my trip travel agent that time some other staff name shamshad told me that we are not accepting the booking for usa tourist visa who has booked your tkt i told navi hussain has booked for me then i had spoken with navi hussain but he told me that he is booking the tkt for same airline that is british airways and pax are travelling to usa on tourist visa . then on 10 jan when i reached the airport the airline staff told me that make my trip agent has booked wrong tkt for me and they have done cheating with you and they are fraud as per airline . now it was very important for me to travel to usa as my sister is not keeping well and it was a emergency situation i had to reach, from that day till now the travel agent has not arrange a tkt or refund for me as it was not my mistake it was staff error and blunder . make my trip should give me refund as its 5 days from now and i am still not reached at my destination . i had asked for manager to talk to me and i have also send an email still i haven't received any reply from their side . why if staff has done mistake why should pax suffer . make my trip should give me my refund why are they holding my refund they should arrange through their staff if staff has done mistake and give wrong information to the pax .
i am attaching tkt which was displayed on the time of booking on make my trip website which clearly states that they are accepting pax for usa tourist visa .

    I am Anand Kapadia. Makemytrip MMTBLACK user. I have made more than 3 International holiday bookings and number of domestic bookings with MAKE MY TRIP. due to covid 19 my booking of booking id NH[protected]amount 5755 INR). and NF[protected](AMOUNT 4709 INR) TOTAL 10464/- were cancelled. Money was returned in my MMT wallet by Makemy trip. but the actual amount credited was 12209 by MMT to wallet, though the wallet only showed 10464/-???They have made and option to transfer the amount to my original payment mode which was credit card. Upon doing so, I received email from MMT confirming the refund to my credit card. immediately i got an another email saying that since the booking was more than 6 month old I need to re submit my bank / credit card details. A link shared by MMT for submitting details is not working. The amount of 10464/- is debited from MMT wallet and not credited to my card and now the link for submitting details also does not work. Upon calling their executives, tantrums are thrown that this is a different department and I should have used the MYRA CHAT or call somewhere or email. But, none of their options work. I have also tried to use their query form but it is only for the list of booking shown in my trips section of MMT in my account. irony is that they have erased the cacncelled booking from MR trips section for which the refund was credited to wallet. UPON A LOT OF REQUEST TO THEIR CUTOMER EXECUTIVE DESCRIBING ALL THESE DIFFICULTIES SHE MADE A PROMISE THAT I WOULD GET A CALL BACK FROM mmt EXECUTIVE BUT NO RESPONSE HAS BEEN RECEIVED. It is poor for a customer to like keep begging for a refund in such a scenario... If I would not have transferred the amount to my credit card at least my money or a balance could have been stayed in wallet which I could have used later. But, the option to transfer was given by MMT and for the same reason I did transfer. And Now, No money in either wallet or in card.??? isnt it cheating ?I have attached the screenshots of messages received for refunds, resubmitting the bank details etc.

      Flight was cancelled by airlines, after that received confirmation mail from make my trip with the deduction detail as below

      Greetings from MakeMyTrip!

      This is with reference to your request regarding refund through web form for Booking ID NN[protected].

      As discussed we regret to inform that Etihad not permitting full refund. You can keep ticket open and re book by 30th Sep'20 and travel till 31st Oct'21 with applicable fare difference if any.

      The cancellation charges = INR 4000 + 720 + 300 + 649 + 849 = INR 6518.

      As per above deduction in total 19000+, refund to be paid to me 13000+

        I have booked and cancelled two hotels in 1 week before still i didn't get my refund. Timeline given by make my trip was also exceeded .

          As per travel agent my concerns are not solved yet, they have promised me some solutions before 24 - 48 hours they might give but still they i am waiting for their reply . now it is almost 96 hours from the day when i have received the email when i am calling make my trip Mr. Navi Hussain is not reachable he is not taking calls even after i am dropping email to his official e-mail id . i have requested for a senior or a manager to take my concerns but still no one has seen my concerns . i was going on emergency basis but still my concerns are not solved . i would like some head to get into the issue and solve my issue so that i reach at my destination. it was staff error because of that Pax is suffering and no one is solving my issues .

            Hi there,
            It's been more than 60 days for the refund request. And I am still suffering to get the refund from Make my trip.

            Scenario of issue: I booked a flight on MakemyTrip and I cancelled then I got the refund of Rs.4, 745 in MMT wallet then I requested to move the amount in my bank account through original payment mode on 8th Nov 2020 but still didn't get the refund.

            When first time I contacted service desk, I was said to wait for 12 days.

            2nd time service desk said refund has been initiated please contact with your bank.

            3rd time service desk said to wait for another 5 days.

            4th time I was said payment is failed and asked to give other bank details and I gave.

            5th time I was said team is working on it and wait for 5 more days. And I did.

            6th time: They said to provide other bank details again and I gave.

            7th time: They said transaction is initiated on 8th Nov so provide bank statement and I did.

            8th time: They said issue has been escalated so wait for 5 more days and i did. This was the last complain No.[protected] with MMT.

            I don't know what is wrong with MMT guys they only want to close the ticket without solving the issue and every time they come up with new excuse. they are like harassing the customers.

            I got the resolution.
            MakeMyTrip India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
            I there is some kind of fraud going on with MMT. It is highly unlikely that you get your refund. Even I was waiting for 40 days. Only twice they contacted me, still I haven't received any refund.

            I have received Rs. 1300 less amount in my wallet after GO Air sent an email of total amount to be refunded is 10, 790/- This is purely harassment. There is no way to contact MMT customer care service to speak about thi. Only there idiotic chatbots are there.

                I was booked by travel agent Mr. Navi Husain for Bom LHR, LHR SFO . i was denied boarding from BA 138 LHR, they have given me information that travel agent has booked wrong ticket and he is given you wrong information . the travel agent has cheated you as per airline . at that time travel agency was not working i had suffered a lot and could not contact them at late night, but after next day they have not removed any solutions for me just blaming airline and airline and blaming travel agent . from 2 days from now i have not got the solutions, they have not arranged the ticket for and its very urgent for me to reach at my destination. today the travel agent was not taking the calls and i have spoke to his collogues they told he is not on the shift . they after 7 pm he called with no solution as he told that he will give a solution, but he is telling me to buy the ticket, even if he has done the mistake of giving me the wrong ticket . why will i buy if he has done a mistake and he has put me in a trouble, i just want my refund back or the next available flight whichever is earlier as i have to reach my destination, as my family member needs me and its an emergency then also make my trip is playing with the pax . they are not serious with the pax as its very important for me to meet my family member, what mistake their staff has done they should rectify and give refund or next available flight to the pax, why pax should suffer because of your silly mistake .till now the concern should have solved and i should have reached my destination .

                  I'm unable to use 'Credit Shell' amount for a booking done through MakeMyTrip on the Spicejet airlines.

                  The flight date was[protected]
                  Booking ID : NF[protected]
                  PNR No : XITW8R-8G-657 and 658

                  But the flight was canceled due to COVID19. eTicket is attached.

                  I opted for the 'credit shell' option. Spicejet is showing the refund amount (Rs 20223) on their site.

                  But when I'm trying to book a flight from the Spicejet site availing the 'credit shell', it's asking me to contact the source of booking (MakeMyTrip).

                  I have been trying to re-book the ticket through Makemytrip but it won't book at all. Also, reached the makemytrip customer care through call and email without any result. I'm extremely frustrated with the makemytrip response.

                  I will make sure not use MakeMyTrip for any of my future trip if this issue is not resolved ASAP.

                    i could not see this booking status in MYTRIPS and they are not updating my status, their phones are not reachable and no agents are responding, its been 6 months now, am struggling to get the details

                      Hello team,

                      Thanks for your email and support. It's been 10 days since you credited refund to Makemytrip but the issue io am facing is I am not able to contact their customer service, ( i just contacted once after your email that I should talk to travel agency regarding the refund.) After that, on 7th Jan their customer executive created a ticket for a refund and it's still being processed and nothing is credited to my Makemytrip wallet( travel agency from where I booked flights).

                      Now I want a suggestion from your team, how can I file a complaint regarding the travel agency to repay as I am not able to talk to the customer support only the computer speaks and then call disconnected.

                      Check screenshots for the refund ticket created by their support team. I am having only this from mmt.
                      The second screenshot is the email that I have received from Indigo airlines that they have processed the refund to the travel agency on 30th od Dec. 2020.

                      Now it's about 11 days but nothing credited to my bank or MMT wallet and moreover, they haven't responded to the emails that I sent on [protected]@makemytrip.com and I am also not able to talk the customer support on their number. Just the computer speaks and then call gets disconnected.

                        I made a booking with MMT for the flights from montreal (YUL) to Delhi (DEL) the flight were in two segments (4 flights) YUL - YYZ (toronto), YYZ - DEL, DEL - YYZ and YYZ - YUL. However the time of the YUL - YYZ and YYZ - YUL flights were changed by the airline. Here the MMT failed to keep my booking for those two flights.

                        As per the booking I received the message that the time of the flight was changed so I reached the airport early. At the airport the airline checked my PNR and said that there is no such booking for YUL-YYZ and YYZ-YUL but the YYZ-DEL and DEL-YYZ booking was present. So I ended up buying a new ticket for YUL-YYZ with a much higher price. On the makemytrip app and website the segment YUL-YYZ had disappeared. I raised a request with MMT for the refund. The MMT agent contacted me and mentioned that the cancellation was from airline and I need to complete the remaining segment of travel to raise the refund request. Then they closed the ticket without my confirmation. So I opened a new ticket after completing the DEL-YYZ segment.

                        I can provide proofs for all the parts I listed above. I have screenshots where the booking has been made for Montreal - Delhi on makemytrip but the YUL-YYZ segment with air canada is not showing up. I also have the email from the earlier ticket where the MMT agent confirmed that the booking was cancelled by the airline. I can also show my new ticket issue email that confirms that I was at the airport well before the flight time.

                        The MMT agent contacted me to inform that the for the first flight I was "no show" and the second flight is not refundable. This is clearly wrong information.

                              UPI payment made but booking process not completed

                              I tried to book four round trip tickets on MakeMyTrip. Even though Rs. 48, 617 was deducted, the booking process was not completed. I DIDN'T RECEIVE tickets. Several attempts to contact customer care executive from MakeMyTrip failed.

                              I had booked the tkt through your travel agent Mr. Navi Hussain he had booked the flight to BOM -LHR, LHR - SFO . i had asked him before booking are the pax travelling on tourist visa to USA he said yes on that basis tkt was booked . then after somedays due to new covid strain in the UK . i had once again called and asked him is there any other rules that Pax can't travel due to new strain anything like that he told no such rules you can travel on tourist visa . then today i was denied boarding they are not allowing tourist visas through UK and Europe sectors . i was not informed . i want my refund back . As i had not travel today by the airline .

                                I booked a ticket for to and from Singapore through make my trip for 18th April 2020 Flight through GoAir. Due to lockdown, flight got cancelled and airline did not give any option to go for cancellation at that time. They told that I can re-book for same sector within a year. Now when i called them, they allowed me to claim full refund and told that amount will be refunded to travel agency. Now I am not able to contact Make my trip through any way as its not showing any booking from my account. Its chatbot is saying that there is no such booking existing and customer care no also is not talking as they claim to have no such booking from my registered booking. I am not sure what shall i do, there is no call back option nor support ticket option

                                  I have booked a to and fro (twoway) ticket from Hyderabad to Kochi and back on 31.12.19 for travel on 14.04.21 and back on 21.04.21 from MMTRIP web site. Due to kovid 19 all flights cancelled and airlines were not operating any flights during april19 and I was not able to travel.As per MMTRIP advise I have directly contacted the airlines and INDIGO airlines has cancelled ticket and given full amount of Rs.3210/- to MMTRIP.MMTRIP has inturn given me a refund of Rs.2291/- only on 10.07.20. GOAIR has agreed refund on 02.01.21after cancelling ticket and has refunded Rs.2746/- to MMTRIP.
                                  However MMTRIP has not refunded to me the money and even after many trials to contact/mails sent MMTRIP was not able to connect/contact and unable to even contact in any manner.
                                  Booking E TICKET Number of GO AIR is BFY6HB and MMTRIP BOOKING ID is NF[protected]( eticket no.of INDIGO AIRLINE was RK7F9T) both tickets booking ID is only one.(Tax invoice No [protected] dated 31.12.2019).Please kindly refund me Rs.2746/- as sent by GOAIR Airlines.

                                    Mumbai - Istanbul flight : PNR GKHEGT
                                    I had Rs. 9600 approx in credit shell balance which is suddenly changed to 0 as soon as I tried to make a booking

                                    Credit shells issued by Indigo for flights booked through MMT which were subsequently cancelled and the credit shell balance is not visible on MMT

                                    PNR YHVZXF - Rs. 7930
                                    PNR LPQM4E - Rs. 11206

                                    I am not able to utilise either of these credit shells for my bookings. There is no customer care number to reach out to and this is extremely agitating.

                                      E-Gift Card Issued without PIN - Cannot Use, Cannot Reach MMT

                                      Address: MakeMyTrip India Pvt. Ltd., DLF Building No. 5 Tower B DLF Cyber City, DLF Phase 2 Sector 25, Gurugram, Haryana 122002

                                      EGift card for Rs.23000/- was issued by MMT with 1 Year validity as a refund for cancellation of international holiday trip by MMT due to COVID situation. However, the corresponding PIN has not been issued/ informed. In the T&C instructions have been given to contact the seller. But all access communication lines are closed to contact MMT on the issue. They are sending customer care link that does not have any information or process for escalating...
