Dr. Girish at Manipal is totally incompetent doctor. For the past 10 years had taken mom to Manipal for coughing. As usual, Dr. Girish always gave antibiotics but never took X ray or referred to a pulmonologist. And for 10 years Dr. Girish was always more focused in teaching some junior doctors than diagnosing patients properly. This time the coughing was not going aways and my mother was coughing dry for upto 15 minutes continuously. My mother insisted on a Chest X Ray but again Dr. Girish concluded that lungs are clear and its not required. Unconvinced, my mother went to emergency and told the duty doctor that she wants to get a chest x ray done even if Dr. Girish doesn't think so. The duty doctor agreed and did a chest x ray. In less than 24 hours we discovered that there was a huge white impression (mass) on the left upper lung. After that we went to Fortis and confirmed that it was Lung Cancer. Then went to HCG for staging and discovered thats its in the 4th final stage where the cancer has spread to other parts of the body and organs. Mom had no option but 3 rounds of Chemo. We did a biopsy at Apollo and the lab confirmed that EGFR is positive and will respond to Gefitinib 150 mg tablets which mom took for 1 year before discovering that liver is getting damaged. Then we switched over to Apollo and Erlotinib 150 mg with no damage to liver. Mom used to be a Yoga teacher for 40 years and its hard to see her lose all her strength but its been 3 years and she's surviving. I hate Manipal so much, I hope an earthquake swallows them whole.
What action you took against Manipal Hospitals? They are bleddy ####### absorbing their own university pass-outs at a lesser salary.

Even, I am suffering.

    Radiology department works with single technician and Ultra sound machine which is lot of inconvenience to patients.Time slot was not properly followed.
    No tissues are being given to clean our body after the Ultra sound which is a big concern.Reports are not being sent on time. CD was given and it did not work. Report was supposed to be sent on 27/1/17 evening but till now i have not received it.When enquired i was informed that the report is still not ready.
    This is really disheartening. The brand of Manipal is tarnished here and giving more trouble for the patient.
    I would strongly recommend the management to train the people and recruit more staffs and procure more machine.
    The waiting room for the patents members is pathetic condition as bedbugs make the members life hell as well as it has chances of reaching till patients.
    I have discharge my father at 13th march 2017 evening and the billing is done through insurance and the amount of about 40k must be refund by the hospital as we pay initially on admision. If i ask check there is no proper response .

      I am 5+ months pregnant with complications and I have been consulting my doctor there right from the day of my pregnancy.I called up today on advice of my doctor to take appointment for scan for a particular doctor and I was asked about my pregnancy details very harshly.But I tried to made them understand the Edd may not match due to some reason she hanged the call abruptly.Requested to take strict action against anyone here who behaves so badly without understanding the concern of the patient.
      I too faced similar harsh treatment. They made my pregnant wife crying... I was shocked by the words used by the Dr.Manonmani in Malleshwaram Manipal hospital.

        Subject: Complaint against mishandling of blood sample and miscalculation in charging the lab tests

        Hi Sir/Madam,

        This is with respect to a blood test that I was asked to take by Dr. Hemant K Kalyan against Episode No. [protected] on 21st Dec 2016. As I made my way to giving the blood sample on 22.12.2016, a short highted healthy lady greeted me at the laboratory and took my blood sample. What happened then just shocked me. She ran to the counter taking my blood samples which is undesirable and without providing me the aid(sanitized cotton) post collecting my blood sample.

        To add to my distress, Mr. Nagarjuna G(cashier of the Billing Counter 22.12.2016 at 1.35 pm) at the billing counter miscalculated for my tests. Initially he charged me with Rs. 4120.00/-(Card Payment)(Rs.3490 for me +Rs.630.00 for my husband Ujjwal Kr. Ghosh-MH[protected] Later after one hour Mr. Nagarjuna G kept me sign a refund slip and told to pay additional Rs. 180.00/- needs for ESR test. It was due to his negligence. That lady again asked us to deposit blood for tests. This cannot be treated as a responsible behaviour from the staffs of such a reputed hospital. I am anaemic and you might understand providing so many tubes of blood in consecutive days is not an easy job for me.
        This harassment then was not end . The next day on 23.12.2016, when my husband Mr. Ujjwal Kr. Ghosh, Hosp. No. MH[protected] went to collect the previous day's Blood Report asked by Dr. A.K.Roy, the report was not made due to the same billing fault. Again that day repeatedly Blood was taken to him.

        I request you to take some disciplinary action against the cashier Mr. Nagarjuna and the lady collecting my blood sample(name unknown but she was short heighted and healthy) for showing such careless attitude.

          Kmc - jyoti - mangalore.
          Please don't admit just by room rent. They charge exorbitantly especially if it is covered under insurance.
          After several visits (Treatment of my dad), these were my conclusions:
          1. Doctors are good and understand patient's condition.
          2. Admit only if you have more money and don't know what to do with your money.
          3. Their sky rocketing charges will make even a normal ok person's bp to shoot up and go mad.
          4. If you're not aware about the treatment, they will swindle even more money.
          5. They ll charge as if the hospital is located in los angeles.
          6. First thing they ll ask is how much the insurance policy cover.
          7. Next they ll decide to how much extent the patient can be swindled.
          8. Just for taking antibiotic iv injection along with continuous oxygen (2 days), cost was whopping 50, 0000. (He was not in icu also).
          9. As an add on, they will only add other doctors to your list, so that you ll have one more doctor to visit / follow up.
          10. Last but not the least better to be devoid of diseases and let not others suffer.

            I want to share my worst life time experience and it is with Manipal hospital, Bangalore (Old Airport Road).
            I am 28 years old and found to be completely fit and healthy with no running medications. I went to OPD of Manipal Hospital on 18th Aug night 9.00 pm for continuous vomiting. I was suffering from vomiting that day with severe acidity and that happened due to eating outside food. We went to OPD, the doctors over there started treating me, put saline. That time, my BP was very low and that was due to dehydration as I was vomiting since morning. But, they took that issue so unusual and started doing lot of tests as ECG, Echo, sonography, blood tests etc. One of the doctor is saying its abnormal pregnancy and other is coming and saying its some infection stomach. No one knows what to do? They are putting injections, drips, everywhere on my body. It was going on uptill 3.00 am. Then they took me for CT scan and finally they decided that I need close monitoring and admitted me in Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
            We are unable to get, what they are doing and I was normal and was in all senses and telling them continuously that I am fine. But, they were making their own stories and telling me that I am not fine. At 4.00 am, they admitted me in ICU. And till then, they were unable to stop me acidity and vomiting. I told the ICU doctor to give me medicine for vomiting and then they gave me. And then they told me to put on ventilator. Ventilator???? As if I am dying. A young girl who is feeling perfectly fine and suddenly someone is saying that u need ventilator…Its ridiculous. I refused to do that but they insisted me to do for 3hours. I did it.
            In morning, I was perfectly fine. My vomiting stopped. Then again in morning cardiologists’ team came, they did Echo, ECG again and reported that there is some heart infection. Then other team came, and told, it might be Dengue. And they told to do MRI. And, I was continuously telling doctors that its food poisoning as I ate outside food but they were not ready to listen me. But, I refused. And, I was keep asking my nurse about the reports. All were normal. All blood tests were normal.
            We realized that they are just making money from us. Then in evening, we decided to get discharge. Then attendant doctor refused to discharge me. But my husband and I was adamant to give me discharge. Doctor told my husband that anything can happen to me, its on your own risk you are moving out. He wanted to frighten us. But, we refused and we told them to discharge, And I told nurse to call doctor to see me and give some medicines or prescription, but doctor refused to come. I have not seen such doctor with no heart and no courtesy for his patients. He didn’t come to meet me and prescribe me any medicines rather he told you are absolutely fine and you don’t need anything. If I didnt need anything then why he kept me in ICU??
            And, then I visited other physician and she gave me just 2 medicines and I was perfectly fine. But, because of so many injections, drips I felt more weak and recovered from that weakness in 15 days.
            This was totally nightmare for me and my family. Horrible experience. I will never enter in that hospital again. They just ask in beginning that you are having insurance and if they know this, they start treating you with unwanted tests and medicines and just charge you high and earn money. They charged with Rs 95, 000/- for just one day. The bill detailed charges for 3 times echo and 3 time secg. In one day they are doing 3 times same test and charging again and again. I Have not seen such treatment. They are looting people and playing with their body.
            I believed that doctors are god but this hospital proved me wrong.

              Sub: request to start dialysis on time.
              By the following letter of complaint, we all (Dialysis patients) like to express our unsatisfaction with improper schedules followed in dialysis opd ward. We undersign on behalf of all patients.
              Please find the following issues:
              A) delay in start and closing.
              B) bp not checked in regular intervals.
              C) no duty doctors in the dialysis opd ward after 6pm.
              D) nursing staff is insufficient.
              E) wheel chair persons not sufficient, delay in shifting.
              F) most of the time the patient lifts is used by other departments; lift operators are rude in behavior.
              We prefer that this regrettable incident is settled in friendly manner. But we propose a meeting with concern department to fix everything in a civilized manner. Henceforth we all (Dialysis patients) look forward to hearing from u a positive response.

                I am highly disappointed with the kind of customer support provided by manipal hospital. Have been calling up and spoke to multiple people from the hospital since last 1 hour.
                They are not even able to provide me the doctor registration number. Some of the so called customer care "executives" don't even understand what a doctor registration number is!! On asking for registration number/code, they redirect the call to appointments team which has no clue of the detail i am asking about.
                Its shameful how trying to get a simple doctor registration number is such a waste of time and money, causing frustation to the patients.

                  I had gone to inquire regarding the watson report and how it could help a cancer patient. I was asked to meet Dr Somashekar. Just to meet him i was asked to pay charges of Rs 950. And the doctor did not even meet me, i was referred to another doctorwho said that the watson report had limited modules and was not useful in the case of the patient i was representing. I want my consultation and registrations refunded .
                  After currency ban, RBI has instructed all the bank to accept 500 and 1000 Rs to facilitate the medical requirement. However manipal group hospital never allowed these note. Is this hospital is bigger than RBI??

                    I had heard a lot about Manipal Hospital Old Airport Road Bangalore. Since I moved to Bangalore few months back I needed to take my mother for her fresh consultation and treatment .
                    Here starts my frustrating story of dealing with these "reputed" doctors and the staff...
                    I had booked appointment online with a doctor at Manipal Hospital for consulation .
                    On the day of the appointment I started up early with my ageing mother who is very weak physically . The travel distance is around 17km one side.

                    When I checked in at the hospital, I was bluntly told without any ettiquettes of "Sorry", that the concerned doctor is NOT available today .I was dissappointed as my time and energy along with the stress of travelling were put to no effort.

                    I went home and took appointment for the same doctor for after a week .

                    This time when I reached with my mother, guess what, I was told that doctor will not be coming to hospital today!

                    At this point I was furious and was leaving the hospital stating that I would NEVER come back to such an in -efficint hospital..

                    There are many other things I suffered here like :

                    1. 1.5 hrs of wait time to collect four medicines from the hospital Pharmacy.
                    2. Inefficient and incompetent majority of the doctors I consulted. They dont even look properly to the reports before providing there useless advice . Most of the stuff I already know and they insist on several tests all the time with hardly any suggestions .
                    Zero health improvement . This was after I consulted 3 different doctors at the same hospital.

                    3. The attitude of the management staff is super impolite, rude and not all encouraging. Doctors are treated as some senior government officials and instead of doctor paying respect to his patients the reverse is expected !

                      I have given an blood test for fh and lsh in manipal ankur hospital Salem for rs 650, the same blood test I took in manipal main hospital salem : 1380rs . 100% difference in price . I have approached my lawyer to raise the consumer complaints against your hosptial. If I don't get proper answer from your side for your change in price difference .I will go ahead with next step for forgery complaints. I have all the bill details with me ..

                        I had poor eyesight both Left and right, which was Minus 6.7 and Minus 7.5 respectively. I paid Rs 28, 100 to Manipal Hospital got my Patient ID 1987617 in Old Madras Road, Bangalore to undergo the LASIK Laser eye operation. Laser eye surgery is a very technical operation and requires years of training to learn how to perform the surgery I trusted and went to this reputed hospital. While operating on 13th Jan 2016, my right eye was done and then when the doctor the equipment did the flap from my cornea stopped. All the technicians went in a jiffy and were not talking to me, when I asked them. To make matters worse I was asked to wait for 2.5months to wait and which made things worse I had to undergo severe headaches, depression and felt so frustrated due to the huge variation in visibility as I had a 9 to 5job where I have to work in front of the system.

                        With these hospital management being reported, they were delaying in getting the new equipment, which I am not sure is new or repaired, I believe the equipment’s are overused and have poor maintenance due to which this event had occurred.

                        I would request to send this hospital a notice on this case which were unheeded and are only here to mint money and even charged for every check up and tests I had to do by taking parking charges as well.

                        Like me, I would not want anyone to undergo such a mental and physical harassment with poor maintenance of medical equipment where if gone wrong I would have required minimum of 6 to 9months to recover the power and get wrong focus if the laser would have started to change the focal length.

                        P.S. No grievance against the doctor as she is absolutely trusts worthy. It’s the maintenance team. So please do not file anything against her.

                          Looking for refund as early as possible, as it is delay for more than 2weeks after the 3 months travel for the procedures as well, where i dont have anyone explaining why it took so long as 3 months to do it.

                          Here, in the faqs it states not support system over call and how come i have dr. Jyoti calling me stating she is a doctor from manipal and trying to provide incorrect information that she is the head of the department of medical services and also she has spoken with 5 doctors and nobody can understand the issue

                          Mhb/cr/feb/cb_391240 : case still on, nobody is sorting it out and i still have pain and want to go and get it treated, please make sure this is addresses soon by not delaying and ignoring it or washing it off

                          Full scans are available in the manipal hospital hal road apart from me having it. Before i started the procedure the scan was taken and when i came back with pain with my teeths they took a full scan

                          Also provided the email trail case number : mhb/cr/feb/cb_391240, if required can forward the email as well.


                          Clear descriptions:

                          1.

                          ​​left side down second last tooth:
                          Doc's work :-
                          (A) just removed previous filling(Cleaned and filled by my previous doc)
                          (B) filled only once
                          (C) reduced the size of the teeth so that the filling is touching the gums

                          Doc's error:
                          (A)

                          ​​reducing the tooth so that the filling ​touching the gums ​falls off soon
                          (B) ​​providing crown as the only suggestion​/option​
                          (C) ​​gum is hanging out one side of the teeth due to the reduction of the teeth one side
                          Note: i had to provide options and ask whether i can work with refilling etc.

                          ​however still crown was the only option forced on me​
                          Has it been done purposely so that i go for a crown and spend

                          ​an additional ​rs.15, 500 in manipal​ for a crown​, because it was clear it would have worked with filling until your doc reduced the tooth size
                          (Scan will show the tooth size reduction)
                          ​note: dr. Shanti priya, stated that root canal is not required as it is not touching the nerve​
                          My additional expenses due to doc's error:
                          (A) getting other options which will cost me for a cap or other options up to 15, 500


                          2.

                          ​​left side down three last teeth:root canal tooth
                          Doc's work:
                          (A) 3 times fillings
                          (B) 3 times temp tooth cement filling

                          Doc's error:

                          (A) with so many fillings i still have pain on one side of the tooth
                          (B) the decay was cleaned by my previous doc(Scan to show that), why so many visits and fillings
                          (C) every time the cap was placed i have informed about the pain
                          (D) cap fallen off, but still pain on the original tooth still exists, same side as the cap
                          (E) gums were bleeding after the cap fell off and i have deep marks on the gums

                          ​note: i would like to know why so many fillings and setting, when it was already cleaned by my previous doc​
                          ​​​​my additional expenses due to doc's error:
                          (A) i have pay another doc now to get this treated currently on pain killer to reduce the pain and i have been as well
                          3.

                          ​​ left side upper 2 teeths: which is stated as root canal by dr.Shanti priya
                          Doc's work:
                          (A) removed previous filling(Cleaned and just a little decay near the nerve was left by previous doc)
                          (B) filled only once only one tooth
                          Note: same day went to ask after the filling

                          ​ was done​ why only one is filled was told by sharon that it was just one tooth since the doc was in a meeting
                          (C) after a week of this, filled the teeth next to that when asked
                          (D) provided floss and crown as an option to cover the gap later on
                          Doc's error:
                          (A) not removing the little remaining decay and filled the toot
                          (B) not filling the tooth next to it when he removed off the previous filling
                          (C) i had to get back the next appointment to ask for the filling and stated about the pain and food getting stuck between the 2 teeths where the

                          ​​actual decay problem existed and wasn't treated well
                          (D) only option provided was floss and later to cover the gap if food gets struck he provided crown as the option
                          ​​note: i had to provide options to cover the gap which was not the crown, silver fillings etc
                          (E) not filling the next tooth and leaving a gap to make sure food gets stuck which i didn't have earlier when the previous doc had done
                          ​​my additional expenses due to doc's error:
                          (A) if pain persist need a root canal​ which will cost rs.2000 for root canal and for the tooth form rs.7000 to 15000

                          4. Left side upper last tooth:

                          Doc's assistant's work:
                          (A) cleaned one dot decay and filled that dot

                          Note: pain, sensitivity on this teeth from the moment it is done, revisited as an emergency visit where the full mouth scan was done however havent been told anything about that

                          ((A))the filling is transparent that i can notice one dot remaining or infection(Brown dot) on that tooth

                          ((B)) going through pain and sensitivity when i drink water also, though the full body chills have reduced

                          ​my additional expenses due to doc's error:
                          (A) need to get it cleaned properly and get a refilling done which will cost me rs.600-800


                          My visits was circa 3 months and i have spend rs.[protected] for the visits which have remind me of only pain now.

                          Manipal to pay back for the docs mishaps:

                          1. ​left side down second last tooth:
                          (A) to get gum removed for 1 teeth charged are rs.1000
                          (B) because of reducing the size of the teeth wanting the filling to fall off, i need to get an outlay or cap fitted in future costing me from 5000 or 7000 to 15000

                          2. ​left side down three last teeth:root canal tooth : 15, 500 + 3, 500 (Manipal charged stating re-root canal though the decay was anyways removed by previous doc)

                          3. ​ left side upper 2 teeths: which is stated as root canal by dr.Shanti priya : 850 + 850 (Charged by manipal regardless of small and big filling). Doc's mishap charged i will be charged outside is[protected] for root canal + cap charged ranging from[protected]For metal free)

                          4. Left side upper last tooth: 850 charged me for one dot, only when i went asked for one dot you are charging, it was refunded, if i need to get a refill will be charged


                          ​so i am looking at all the refunds manipal doc has caused :

                          I am not including the consultation charges i paid. Because of the mistakes committed by your doctor ( ali), i need spend again for another doctor now, dont believe i trusted manipal and came all the way from such a distance trusting a doc.
                          Very bad service, scaring on top of that to get the procedures done and that too only to get a cap is the only solution and to add to that when stated about the pain said no decay and when visited on emergency pain to another doctor got to know it has turned to a root canal when it wasnt supposed to.

                          To add to all this mishaps i have to spent more than 40, 000 for another external doctor to get all this treated and the case is still hanging with my PAIN still one and no one is sorting it out and making the payments.

                            Manipal Hospital Airport Road, has been our family hospital for more than 10 years
                            and we even suggested many people but they failed this time.Some five months back,
                            my dad experienced leg swelling(one leg alone), consulted with diabetes and endocriologist,
                            he took some tests and reffered to internal medicine and vascular surgeon
                            then he took some tests and said there's nothing wrong in report and again refered to
                            neprology and urology dept, Again they took some tests and said nothing.
                            From their to Ortho dept and got nothing.By this time some three months passed and
                            now he experienced abdomen swelling, then we went to gastrointestinology and to cardiology, said its normal and prescribed some medicine, took for a month then problem worsned
                            then he removed 2 litre of some intestinal fluid and prescribed medicine.
                            After 2 days again started severe abdomen pain,
                            this time we went to Manipal Hospital Salem and they found severe liver damage
                            then we rushed to Global Hospital Chennai and you know what the doctor said,
                            he said if we had brought him atleast one month back,
                            we could have avoided the liver transplant surgery.
                            I'm totally loss of words, i dont know what to say,
                            we had believed in them and they cheated us in return.

                              Complanant is the patient of panipal hospitals for a year in airpirt road branch
                              My observations are as follows:
                              1.Consulted to deptt. Like neurology, internal medicines, eyes, cardiology, medical check ups, dentals of airpirt road since tge hospital is nearer ti my residence.
                              In all the deptt. Doctors paramount duty are to get some tests done at the hospital first by the visiting patients, generate some income first of the hospital before the doctors prescribe /advises .

                              2. Hospital is now doing their business first than offering satisfactory customers service.

                              3. Patients coming from west bengal villages/ towns are suffering most by way of expenses.
                              They are coming here seeking immediate remedy but with the cost of huge expenses wrongfully and unconsciously that hospital is dragging out from the patients in the name of tests.
                              4. Thus is a cosmopolitant hospital but cosmopolitan environment is absent at this hospital.Desk female / male staffs are 99 percent kannara/ telegu speaking even they are not proficients in english / hindi. Desk staff are caring most who can converse with her languages. Most female staffs behaviour are rude and carelessness.Staffs are there at the hosputal to call names of patients one after another but most of my visiting deptt. They were absent and did not care to stand by and calling names of next patients.

                              5. Lady attendents are not available with lady patients with the doctors compulsarily.

                              Kindly look into these grievances.

                                  This is not a complaint this is our tears where Dr. Nagraj palankars one mistake leaded us to see our father's death. They say he s specialised but he didn't had a sense to do a CT scan before taking my father to OT but they say they tried their best, he alone is responsible for my father's death, tomorrow definitely he will have same situation to face. There's no forgiveness for their deeds like this. Because doctors are not God.they truly took us for a ride

                                    I consulted dr shaila bhattacharya for my 8 year old child last week . I regret the choice . She is so rude and horrible and did not listen to what i was trying to explain about my child she interrupts rudely to say get some 2 pages of all kinds of tests done and when i asked if all the tests like echo, lipid profile hormone etc are required since my child only had persisent cough and she asked me to go back and get treatment elsewhere. after writing tests seh told me to come and meet her in her private clinic at indiranagar...!! I dont live in bangalore and cannot keep visiting multiple times to get a small issue resolved. I finally went to a pediatrician nearby my cousins house. Stay away from this rude ignorant and horrible doctor

                                    My wife Ayesha Begum resident of Dubai took my daughter Afiyah Wasim to Dr. shaila B on Wed 17/04 at 11:20AM in Manipal Hospital, HAL Old airport road, Bangalore

                                    Dr. Shaila miss treated my wife during the visit, she harassed her by yelling at her. Please note my wife was operated in same Manipal just 1week before and she was not able to stand for a long time and the doctor was commenting" If you have come from Mysore, roam around and go back, why u people come to hospital" "meet me in my clinic and take the address from my assistant outside the room ", Doctor didnt even saw the patient nor listen to the patient problem and just wrote list of blood tests to be done.

                                    This treatment of Doctor Shaila is not acceptable and she doesnt have any courtesy to deal with the patient.

                                    I want the doctor to apologize for her misbehavior and not to repeat this with other patients.
                                    The above comments are so exactly true. Experienced the same. She is not deserved as a doctor that too for kids.

                                      My relative who has been admitted into the Manipal Hospital for Cough and not yet being discharged is going tremendous mental pain due to some unethical behavior by Dr Manjunath and Staff. Unnecessary charges like CT scan and other doctors visit for a simple cough one has to choke out 3 Lakh rupees and there is still no remedy for the cough my relative is undergoing. A doctor comes in and wants the head to be examined and one wonders what is relation between a cough to head. Next day the charges are 50, 000 Rupees. They bring medicines worth 16000 rupees and remove them same day in the evening and one has to cough up the amount the following day. What is going on. I have decided to take an advocate and fight against the hospital and its staff. They just put the patient into ICU and the following day one has to cough up 50, 000 rupees. Please stop this atrocity.

                                        Dear All, I wanted to share my bad experience with Dr. Girish Rai and Manipal Hospital. My 3.5 yrd old kid had undergone a foreign body surgey with him by given anesthesia and during the middle of thesurgery they found lungs were not having proper breathing hence they wanted a sign that we should take responsible for whatever and we all shocked without doing Pre anesthisia test/Breathing test they had given anesthisia to my kid. A month later again a bleeding on his nasal where his foriegn body got removed and this time GIRISH RAI asked us to take scan(RS.4600) and after seeing the report that he wants to do an surgery again for 3.5yr(back to Back within 2monthswith anesthesia) and he wants him to admit immediately. We requestED for two days time as my wife was approaching her second baby delivery date so after getting assistance form the family will do a surgery. Meantime, We consulted with 5 best ENT doctors in Bangalore & other country as well showing the report that Is this an emergency to go for an surgery or not. All the doctors said that NO NEED OF SURGERY AGAIN FOR AN 3.5YR OLD KID AND DONT WAST YOUR TIME/MONEY like..We all happy to hear at the same time got extreme angry at Dr.Girish Rai and Manipal Hospital Management. They run the hospital to run achieve their tagert(money) withou humanity and Few dooctors like Girish Rai helping them. As a COMMON PEOPLE WE WANT A BEST HOSPITAL/DOCTORS TO TREAT OUR PROBLEMS BUT THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE TO LOOT MONEY FROM US...SHAME ON GIRISH RAI & MANIPAL HOSPITAL(DOMLUR) Regards, Jay
                                        Shame to MCI, the Medical council of India who are controlling the supply of doctors in our country starved of doctors. If they increase the seats in MBBS then there will be more doctors and prices will come down and patients can take many opinions.

                                        This is the solution for stopping money minded doctors. Increase their supply.
                                        My brother had a by pass surgery in Narayana hospital where the services were very good.However he chose Manipal hospital for leg amputation due to diabetic wound festering.For one week he had to go for change of bandages and dressing of the leg prior to operation.The staff at the plastic surgey department is so rude.Every day they make him wait one hour from the appointment time for change of bandage.He cant even sit for long on the wheel chair, but they dont care.Also after the bandage and dressing is done, nobody comes for atleast half an hour to push his wheel chair to the ground floor as only the helper workers are allowed to do this job.And this poor guy with diabetics and heart condition has to wait patiently till someone takes notice of him and takes him downstairs.Besides the wheel chair pushing guys take tips from patients' relatives.Why the hospital does not make it a policy to be strict in these matters i dont know.Openly the lady at the reception of the plastic surgery dept is rude to patients and the senior doctors simply dont notice.Are we not paying lakhs for our treatment?Do they even understand what mental and phsical agony the patient and their relatives undergo?Why are they so coldhearted and indifferent?
