Hi,
I had an appointment fixed with Dr. Shankar Kumar for 12:20 pm on the 20th April The appointment was for a video consultation and I had already paid the the charges of Rs 750/-.
However there was no link shared, no consultation provided and no body from the hospital bothered to even give a call back after repeated calls and online chat sessions.
Request you to please refund the amount as there was NO consultation provided.

    Negligence of Doctors

    My hospital no 4324008. Myself Rituparna Mukherjee. I admitted in Manipal Hospital Whitefield branch on 14/04/21 for taken sample for biopsy and released on 15/04/21. My surgery done by Dr Manjunath Haridas.
    Biopsy was suggested by Dr Sheetal. And she clearly written in her prescription that sample taken for 3 nos test
    1) Histopathology
    2) Genxpart
    3) Mycrobactorial culture.

    But when I go to collect...

    After paying for video consultation fees, I did not get the link for the consultation. I booked the Dr's appointment for 26th Apr, 11:20 and 11:40 AM (for Samrat Das and Shanta Das), but I didn;t receive the link for the consultation. Would request to refund the amount paid as consultation fees at the earliest. I have attached the bank statement for the reference.

      My father is in the hospital since 3 months, 1 month in ICU and then shifted to 8th floor JD room. First month in HD room was a good experience. Since a month, the schedule for nurses have been changed and now we don't have any nurse who were attending my father from the very beginning. The present nurses are not upto the mark. They are not listening to whatever we ask and it's a nightmare to leave mother alone for night. Last night a nurse back answered my mother. I don't think that this is the way we should be treated in such a reputed hospital. Where we have paid a fortune for father.

        I had taken my spouse for an emergency out patient treatment to the emergency and accident centre at Manipal Hospital, Old Airport Road, Bangalore.

        My spouse was attended to quickly and we are satisfied wuth the treatment.

        However, I was shocked and disappointed to observe that a number of staff of various categories attending to patients in the accident and emergency unit flouted the covid protocol. This included a doctor, three nurses and four other staff.

        These people had exposed their nose and mouth by lowering their masks around their chin and in the case of two attendants who were moving between A and E and the respiratory problems section opposite to it had their masks draped around their neck.

        All the while there were at least 3 to 4 patients in A and E. One lady attendant never put her mask up for over half an hour and one of the persons accompanying the patients had to ask her to pull it up.
        It was shocking to see a doctoron duty draping his mask around his chin and talking to a patient.

        While the staff do sterling work and most of them follow protocol, a handful people like the ones above can harm the patients and also bring down the reputation if the hospital.

        I would be grateful if this issue is addressed asa matter of priority so that patients feel safe and secure about getting treatment at this hospital.

            Today (13 Apr 2021) I called Manipal Hospital, HAL Airport Road around 11.30 am and requested to connect Neuro Dept. My wife, 68 years age, is under treatment by Dr Veena Vedartham. I needed to get doctor's ok to take my wife for Covid vaccine just to ensure that there are no adverse reactions of the ongoing medicine and the vaccine. Like a perfect bureaucratic centre, the lady on phone asked me to come to the hospital, fill an application, which will be submitted to Dr Veena and she will reply after studying my wife's case and that I must pay fee. Wow, in my many decades of experience with MH, I never had encountered this ridiculous bureaucracy and a thoughtless receptionist. I told her that this was the time of the new pandemic wave and I am an old man of 74 years and a cancer survivor still under recovery which any sensible person would understand before forcing me to come to the hospital. In any case, just to ask the doctor to know if my wife can get vaccine, while she is on Tab Levigress, was all that was required to know from the doctor. I was explaining to this receptionist my helplessness when she hung the phone. Well, that was not Manipal that I have known since its inception. This receptionist woman is totally unfit to be employed at a respectable hospital like MH who surely has put a black spot on MH's reputation. Her arrogant, inconsiderate, disrespectful behavior especially towards a man of 74 years and unprofessional behaviour must be condemned and the hospital management must summon her to re-educate her as to what the hospital stands for and what a nonsense she had created by asking the patient to come to hospital (under above conditions and purpose) for a long bureaucratic procedure just to get ok from the doctor so that her patient could take vaccine. She must be removed from such public facing responsibilities not only in the interest of the patients but also in the hospital's own interest as well. I condemn her misbehavior and the unprofessional culture of dropping the call of a patient which under is known to be an unacceptably bad behaviour across the globe.

              I called Manipal Hospital reception on 6th April and booked an appointment for 13th of April with Mr Vijay KR Rao. The booking was made through OPD. Today when I was ready for a visit and called for a confirmation, the attendant of the reception simply said it's a holiday and your booking is not registered. I can still see the appointment confirmation message but the attendant says, it might have got cancelled. I am a lupus patient with nephritis. I needed the appointment urgently. Based on this appointment I have further course of action. I really don't understand, how someone can simply cancel the appointment without asking the patient.

                My hospital no is : MH[protected]. My request is very simple: I have done a blood test on 31st March 2021 and I want the invoice to be sent to my mail id. It has been 10 days and even after multiple follow ups, I still haven’t recieved the invoice for the payment that I have made already. Kindly send it ASAP.

                  Dear sir,
                  Hospital no MH[protected] Praveen.T Date 17/02/2021 to 20/02/2021. Underwent knee Patela surgery on 18Feb. 19thand 20th for 2 PC's of Diapers hospital charged me for 02 Qty ie Rs 2120. When asked while getting discharged they said it's returned in pharmacy. In the bill I don't see the refund for the same.
                  Kindly look into this and process for refund.

                    Fixed on line consultation with Dr Deepak Dubey for 1/4/21.Recd link for payment.Asked to pay Rs 900 which I paid through Icici bank.Bank has debited the amount but Manipal Hospital says not rec'd. This happened on 3/3/21 also when asked to pay 1100, link expires 20 minutes. Which was paid using SBI net banking . Amount debited by SBI.Manipal says not rec'd.paid next time and it asked Rs 850/ which is the right amount.
                    Suspect some fraud is going on.pl enquire and take proper action to avoid harassment and loss to patients.

                      Sir, I went on your billing counter for Corona test on 26/03/2021 at about 12.50 pm. I asked the test rate for same day Result Report. The counter sister asked me to deposit Rs.2600/-and respond to that you will get it within 6 to 8 hours but I was surprised not to receive any report by next day Morning. Being disappointed, I contacted over land line no [protected] for making complain, the attending one transfer the call to lab room. The asked my email and then send it on my mailing address.
                      Now, when the Hospital couldn't provide it's services on time for which I paid extra Rs.1600/- should be refunded to me immediately.
                      I will also comment that it is an act of cheating the customer/patient for extra charge with poor service and created a bad immage in my mind.
                      So, you please arrange to refund my extra money immediately.

                        Such a poor & worst service. The receptionist are least bordered to respond to calls & if by any chance they receives the call then they will just ask the query & put the call on hold. I faced this lot many times when I called urology receptionist today

                          He is a pensioner ( no.933835 ) He is retired from central govt services .
                          he is covered under CGHS for any ailment.He is 88 yr old
                          He had never been charged anywhere but your hospital has charged him Rs. 4639 on discharge.
                          Kindly check above n refund the amount immediately to avoid any further

                              I brought my 78 year old father to the hospital due to an emergency and instead of pulling up his records and looking at his history, they kept on quizzing me for the same information over and over. The ambulance people refused to bring the stretcher up one flight of stairs stating that the service elevator was small. The wheel didn't have an arm rest. This is pathetic..!

                              I have not been able to speak to the hospital manager or get assistance even after multiple requests.

                                This is regarding patient id I[protected], wherein billing was of 48651. patient got admitted due to high BP and they have generated bill of amounted 48651 with 12182 o[censored]ncovered bill which they have recovered from my security deposits.

                                at first stage I am holding policy with MAX bhupa which is cashless and they have taken security deposit of 30000.

                                when asked for deductible charges bill they denied to provide the same and they have given detailed bill.

                                kindly get it sorted asap as same type of claim i have already processed for my mother 's case wherein claim was of2 lacs plus nothing i have paid from my pocket.

                                  Billing related issues

                                  Manipal hospital is overcharging for my post surgery process. Post surgery process is of 15 minutes as per doctor but they want patient to pay for their full day admission process which is approx 2k and safety and infection charges which is 3.5k and MRD charges which is 1.6k apart from normal surgery cost which is 7.5k.
                                  Except surgery cost everything is self paid. After having an insurance there is no point of getting the benefit....

                                  This is Dr. Roberts. Today I brought my wife for Orthopaedic consultation. I found that all seats at the patients waiting area was occupied. There was no social distancing. Patient's attenders were sitting, while my wife with a knee injury had to stand for 15 minutes before she got a seat to sit.
                                  Please make a rule so that patients can while attendees can stand if it is crowded.

                                    Dear Manipal,

                                    Im on for your customer since 3 year's, my wife and daughter was admitted 2 time's in your hospitals and was good behavior from your team and doctors previously.

                                    Unfortunately bad situation happen on last 3 week's which is on 7th, my wife having ENT problem and was attend by Dr Muthu kumar, as per Dr she need to admit in dare care due to small surgery on ear's. I was inform by Dr Muthu on Manipal procedure and deposit payment which is totally rm420. Covid test rm120 and rm300 for security purpose and will refund back after discharge. We went to payment counter and i repeated same question to your cashier girl, she was answer what dr muthu explain too. On same night we went to emergency at 10.30 for covid test. We was attend by 1 nurse payment made by debit card rm420. I have ask on refund and answer was will refund rm300 after discharge. We was waiting more than an hour and when ask with security guards he said have emergency case and only 2 doctors are around and attend on the patient.
                                    It was MANIPAL HOSPITAL AND NOT GOVERNMENT HOSPITAL WE HAVE TO WAIT AN HOUR.
                                    Dr was come out for covid test, there was 2 people to do sweb test, my wife was second person. PLEASE NOTE THIS POINT (Dr come out with full covid cover with glove and mask, sweb test was taken with 2 people and not changing after use for 1st person)

                                    On next day morning 8th Jan we went to admition counter, 1 of indian lady named Madam kamalam attend to my wife, form given to ask signature, no explain given during that time, explain on refund rm120 covid test will refund if insurance approve and if not balance rm300 will refund after discharge. Everything done as said.

                                    Discharge on same day after 4pm, no bills given ask to wait 2 day's. On monday 11th Jan i have called to manipal asking about my refund and was inform will refund in account within 2 day's time, and i was ask again n again on refund money. Answered rm 300 will be refund. After 2 day's on 13th wed i called back to manipal, i was inform by your account department my refund is rm180 only. I was shocked and question what happen on balance rm120. Named was anusha explaining rm120 deduct for PPI chargers. When ask what was PPI she said doctor usage equipment which is glove mask and covid cover dress. I was question why we as a customer we need to pay for doctor usage. Your hospital should provide to your doctors. I was damn angry and inform to the girl please ask your higher officer give me a call back regarding this.

                                    On next day i was receive calls from your admition counter speak by mdm kamalam, she was strongly claiming that she have explain everything before my wife signing on papers. Come on guys, we are not small kids to call and argue on this things all. We was cheated and staff careless why not informing earlier or before sign on papers. I have called 3 times to your customer care attend by name anis but no return called comes from your manipal hospitals.

                                    After the day receive call from HOD name Julie terrible rude talking to my wife, Julie was saying we already explain everything and you already sign on papers, We cannot do anything if you want to complaint please proceed. When my wife shouted she said don't shout and no need to talk just cut the conversation. I called to customer care again and again speak to miss anis, I have complaint on HOD Julie very rude to my wife and anis was told will bring this issue to upper level. Already past 1 week no calls from manipal hospital. My wife follow up with Dr Muthu on 22nd Jan, we are not going and decided no more visit for manipal hospitals.

                                    Dear Manipal hospitals,
                                    Where was your customer service gone??
                                    This is the way communicate to customers??
                                    Very rude???
                                    As HOD no responsible at all???
                                    Where is your hospital standards??

                                    Your admition HoD and account department not admit on staff fault but putting on customers head. Irresponsible team in both department's.
