I was not given any discount in spite of mentioning in the bill that discount is available.

    On 29th May 2021 Manipal hospital (Old airport branch) did vaccination drive for IDBI Bank employees and it's relatives at Mission road zonal office where I also got my vaccination done, since my company is reimbursing vaccination cost so I requested Alwin thampi senior Business Development Manager in corporate section (responsible for manipal hospital) said we will not give you invoice also told me to Contact IDBI for invoice
    When manipal hospital has done vaccination drive, how can IDBI Bank issue Invoice ??

      Post my visit to the doctor I stopped at the nurse station and asked her if there was payment due and she checked and said no. I asked her if she was saude and she checked again, and said no.

      Post that I received a call from Dr. Sravya, stating that she’s been informed that I am not making the payment, when I shared with her what happened she was polite and said, don’t worry, clear it on your next visit.

      Post that I have visited the hospital, three times. I had post surgery appointment with Dr. Sita Rajan, I have met Dr. Sad for patient Rajat Sarki, my mobile is on his profile and then with Dr. Radhika as well.

      1) why was I not asked to clear the payment in any of these visits
      2) the hospital staff started calling and messaging my husband for the payments, why?
      3) the staff shared the attached screenshots with the doctor on the patient profile.

      Twice your hospital how had broken the confidentiality for a patient, for 3000 wherein the patient has a payment history with your hospital for 3 years plus now.

      This is a serious and legal issue. Whilst one can understand closing of books and recovery, the staff needs to be trained on what can and cannot be shared this casually. It’s a serious breach of trust.

      I would like to take up this matter seriously and I expect a proper response on the matter

        My mom was hospitalized here last month for kidney infection, overall experience at hospital was still good. But while following up with doctor it has become such a pain. As most of the doctors are taking online consultation, we had booked the same. Just for taking an appointment I had to call 2-3 hours continuously n when it gets connected they'll just put you on hold and will be gossiping between themselves or keep transferring it to different departments.
        Also to request for billing copies for online consultations I had been calling them for 3 days now with no solution, either line will be on hold or they will say they sent mail which is never received or again transfer to different department.

          I booked Video consultancy at Nephrology Departmen for Dr. Rabishankar B, on 3rd May, and paid 900 rupees. They given date for consultancy on 5t May 2021. But there was no comunication from hospital. On 6th May I asked the refund amount of 900 rupees but one month over, I call 100 time to Manipal Hospital, but still didn't received amount.

            Dear sir/mam.
            I karma topden bhutia as my patient is in level 9 ...he was shifted to level 8 form level 9icu beacause he was maintaining well..we got information from level 9 guard...but suddenly at night my patient was shifted at icu level 9 because he was not maintaining oxygenlevel in level 8...the information was not given to patient visitor about that., I think that they should inform to the patients party or family...so I kindly request you to look after that matter...

              Hi Manipal,
              I wanted to Thank Manipal hospital to treat my father in a very careless manner and ended up that he is no more with us. My father was admitted in Manipal on April 10th around 8.00PM for cardiac issue with reference from Namakkal. At home he reported just a heart burn and he came to hospital to check the acidity. He was not down and had any breathing difficulty till he reach the Manipal Hospital and even after the surgery.We were informed by the hospital(Dr. Bharathithasan R
              ) that he was having 4 blocks in his heart and he need to have a stent after Angio for 1 block on the same day within 2hrs of time. We are still not getting answer that if the doctor did health check of the patient heart before undergoing surgery whether his is fit enough for the surgery. The next day morning April 11th 12’o clock we came to know that there was a tear in his heart (VSR) and immediately suggested us to shift him to Narayana Heath Care for further procedure after looting 3.12L from us. When we moved from the hospital, we had only a sheet of prescription about the patient and his reports altogether three sheets with us for Narayana hospital. Looks like he had a blood in his stool which was not mentioned anywhere in the three sheets. After we admitted him in Narayana, we tried our best to save him but he is no more with us.
              Question: If the doctor know that patient is in critical condition why not he sent us directly to Narayana?
              Question: Doctor is telling now in the call that his heart was rotten, so Manipal is accepting surgery procedure after knowing the heart is rotten?
              Question: So, the doctor send us to Narayana to treat the rotten heart? why the same was not mentioned in the prescription?
              Question: Why blood in stool was not mentioned in the prescription?
              Question: We called the doctor to understand few questions, why he was not having patience to explain on what exactly happened to my father?
              Question: If a doctor come to know that patient is no more and know the relations emotions, why can’t he have patience to explain instead disconnecting the call with intimating?
              Question: Is this the way all the Manipal Doctors are treating the patient?
              Question: Manipal looted 3.12L of amount for 18hrs of inpatient stay, is this the same happening for all the patience who believe Manipal hospital?
              Before all these I wanted to explain more about my father,
              He is a farm owner and till the same day he reach to hospital, he completed all his work in the farm and came to hospital. How a rotten heart person can do all the farm work?
              We are still not able to digest that he is no more with us and we are not having any answer to my mother’s question?
              Can I conclude that Manipal is not recommended even for a casual checkup?

              I got a call from the customer care acknowledging the above compliant, saying that, management saw the compliant and they will reach me back after enquiring with the respective doctor. But till now no one reached me to discuss further. I totally lost the faith not only on the doctors also on the hospitals management.

                  I have booked video consultation with Manipal Jayanagar on 24th April with Dr. Meena Muthaiah.
                  Consultation happened, doctor told hospital will send me the prescription. But till date I have not received the prescription so I request for the refund of my consultation charges paid or send me the prescription in next two days.

                  Since 24th April, I have called multiple times customer care, but I only get a call back from Manipal Jayananagar saying that I will get the prescription but never got.

                    Please provide me the name of the vaccine given on 10th April as a first dose.
                    I was vaccinated my first dose of Covid vaccine on 10th April but it was not updated on the portal by hospital staff.
                    I have not received any msg also.
                    There is no response from the hospital nursing staff on phone. I visited hospital to find out the name of the vaccine but hospital staff were unable to to respond.
                    Kindly suggest me how to take the second dose without knowing the name of the vaccine of first dose

                      As me and my dad had just come to Manipal hospital Itpl for the cardiac test as they said they don't accept ICICI insurance and I wasn't having the amount what they where charging was extremely higher I said please give discharge to my dad I will take to other hospital they where trying to convince me that situation is critical anyhow don't go out to other hospital but still I wasn't listening to them wanted to have discharge they started the treatment without asking our permission and said to pay bill which was really unbearable please kindly help us never thought Manipal being so good brand having name fame can cheat us in this way

                        Dear team, I would like to escalate that my brother did this Rt-PCR test on 30th April, at Manipal Goa. we r waiting for report from 5days .we r calling manipal hospital nobody is responding. Today we checked online it's say not authorized. We had paid 1400 for the test. How can there be so much negligence from your end. Unless we have the report how do we start with treatment. Doctor r asking for reports. Kindly looking into it .my brother registeration number is RH0730267.kindly provide us with a solution.

                            Hi,
                            I had an appointment fixed with Dr. Shankar Kumar for 12:20 pm on the 20th April The appointment was for a video consultation and I had already paid the the charges of Rs 750/-.
                            However there was no link shared, no consultation provided and no body from the hospital bothered to even give a call back after repeated calls and online chat sessions.
                            Request you to please refund the amount as there was NO consultation provided.

                              After paying for video consultation fees, I did not get the link for the consultation. I booked the Dr's appointment for 26th Apr, 11:20 and 11:40 AM (for Samrat Das and Shanta Das), but I didn;t receive the link for the consultation. Would request to refund the amount paid as consultation fees at the earliest. I have attached the bank statement for the reference.

                                My father is in the hospital since 3 months, 1 month in ICU and then shifted to 8th floor JD room. First month in HD room was a good experience. Since a month, the schedule for nurses have been changed and now we don't have any nurse who were attending my father from the very beginning. The present nurses are not upto the mark. They are not listening to whatever we ask and it's a nightmare to leave mother alone for night. Last night a nurse back answered my mother. I don't think that this is the way we should be treated in such a reputed hospital. Where we have paid a fortune for father.

                                  I had taken my spouse for an emergency out patient treatment to the emergency and accident centre at Manipal Hospital, Old Airport Road, Bangalore.

                                  My spouse was attended to quickly and we are satisfied wuth the treatment.

                                  However, I was shocked and disappointed to observe that a number of staff of various categories attending to patients in the accident and emergency unit flouted the covid protocol. This included a doctor, three nurses and four other staff.

                                  These people had exposed their nose and mouth by lowering their masks around their chin and in the case of two attendants who were moving between A and E and the respiratory problems section opposite to it had their masks draped around their neck.

                                  All the while there were at least 3 to 4 patients in A and E. One lady attendant never put her mask up for over half an hour and one of the persons accompanying the patients had to ask her to pull it up.
                                  It was shocking to see a doctoron duty draping his mask around his chin and talking to a patient.

                                  While the staff do sterling work and most of them follow protocol, a handful people like the ones above can harm the patients and also bring down the reputation if the hospital.

                                  I would be grateful if this issue is addressed asa matter of priority so that patients feel safe and secure about getting treatment at this hospital.

                                      Today (13 Apr 2021) I called Manipal Hospital, HAL Airport Road around 11.30 am and requested to connect Neuro Dept. My wife, 68 years age, is under treatment by Dr Veena Vedartham. I needed to get doctor's ok to take my wife for Covid vaccine just to ensure that there are no adverse reactions of the ongoing medicine and the vaccine. Like a perfect bureaucratic centre, the lady on phone asked me to come to the hospital, fill an application, which will be submitted to Dr Veena and she will reply after studying my wife's case and that I must pay fee. Wow, in my many decades of experience with MH, I never had encountered this ridiculous bureaucracy and a thoughtless receptionist. I told her that this was the time of the new pandemic wave and I am an old man of 74 years and a cancer survivor still under recovery which any sensible person would understand before forcing me to come to the hospital. In any case, just to ask the doctor to know if my wife can get vaccine, while she is on Tab Levigress, was all that was required to know from the doctor. I was explaining to this receptionist my helplessness when she hung the phone. Well, that was not Manipal that I have known since its inception. This receptionist woman is totally unfit to be employed at a respectable hospital like MH who surely has put a black spot on MH's reputation. Her arrogant, inconsiderate, disrespectful behavior especially towards a man of 74 years and unprofessional behaviour must be condemned and the hospital management must summon her to re-educate her as to what the hospital stands for and what a nonsense she had created by asking the patient to come to hospital (under above conditions and purpose) for a long bureaucratic procedure just to get ok from the doctor so that her patient could take vaccine. She must be removed from such public facing responsibilities not only in the interest of the patients but also in the hospital's own interest as well. I condemn her misbehavior and the unprofessional culture of dropping the call of a patient which under is known to be an unacceptably bad behaviour across the globe.

                                        I called Manipal Hospital reception on 6th April and booked an appointment for 13th of April with Mr Vijay KR Rao. The booking was made through OPD. Today when I was ready for a visit and called for a confirmation, the attendant of the reception simply said it's a holiday and your booking is not registered. I can still see the appointment confirmation message but the attendant says, it might have got cancelled. I am a lupus patient with nephritis. I needed the appointment urgently. Based on this appointment I have further course of action. I really don't understand, how someone can simply cancel the appointment without asking the patient.
