Hi

I am holding my Car insurance with National Insurance for the past 3 years. This was given by Maruthi Insurance in colabration with National insurance, from the dealer from which I brought the CAR.

Every year two times, 3 months before of expiry he use to call and get it renewed.

But this time either I did not receive from car dealer or from the Insurance agency about the renewal.

I tryed my self to renew on line in National insurance., and I was not able to do so. When I checked with customer care, I was told that, as it is dealer link, I can not renew online. Either I have to go to any dealer or to National Insurance office.

So I went to dealer and I paid the amount. Well a week in advance before of expiry.

But the dealer forgot to renew the policy and he says that it is not dealer's mistake, and it is mistake of Maruthi Insurance, and I have to pay the full amount again, and I am going to loose the No Claim bonus, and get a policy break .

    My car insurance was due for renewal. On insistence from my car dealer, I signed up Maruti Insurance.

    Next thing I know, Maruti Insurance started continuously calling me on my land-line and mobile.

    I was busy in meetings and repeated calls were causing unnecessary harassment. If someone doesn't take calls, it means the person IS BUSY. However, Maruti Insurance executives do not understand that - they kept on calling continuously. After 15th continuous missed call, I stepped out of my meeting, picked up the phone and rebuked them on my mobile (and also told them to cancel my insurance application out of irritation), then they started calling on land-line and misbehaved with my family members! Shameful and this harassment was certainly not what I signed up for when I decided to buy a policy from Maruti Insurance.

    My number is registered on DND - my point is can they keep calling me even after I have told them to cancel my application. And what gives them the right to misbehave with my family members who are not even aware of the background.

      Insurance — Delay in insurance claim settlement

      Can sombody help me if there is delay in claim settlement from insurance company side, where to approach?

      We have submitted FIR, FR & all other relevent documents related to claim of our theft vehicle & getting very poor response from Insurance company.

HAS DEDUCTED THE NO CLAIM BONUS AMOUNT WHEN I GO TO THE CO.FOR RENEWAL OF THE POLICY WHILE THERE IS NOT ANY CLAIM PAID/SETTLED BY THE CO.           I renewed my insurance policy through the website marutiinsurance.com. I got a confirmation mail and the amount of premium is deducted from my account. Also I got a hard copy of my policy certificate through post. My policy number is MI[protected]. Recently I submitted my policy for claim and the staff replayed me as my policy is not verified. They refused to get me the claim. When i tried to complaint through the website, it is also down. So please do the necessary for it.

          I have insured my car through the dealer with IFFCO Tokio. However, I am not able to view my insurance details in he website of iffo-tokio. maruti insurance site is also down.

            My Maruti Insurance was expiring on 09-Jan-2011. So I asked Maruti Insurance guys to renewal. They visited on the very next day to collect cheque. I had given cheque dated 21-Dec-2010 on 15-Dec-2010. My cheque got cleard on the same day 21-Dec-2010. Hoeever, they committed me that I will receive my policy in 7 days of existing policy expiration. Its today 15-Feb-2011, still I have not received my policy. I am calling again and again on [protected]/94/97 and 46404465 numbers. everytime new person speaks and gives me excuss thhat will send today, tomorrow, it was not prepared like that. I dont understand how come policy was not prepared and dispatched to be even after encashing cheque 2 months before. Its a straight away financial crime. Please let me know what should I do. Can I file a complient againse mental harrashment or cheating?

                On (9/4/2010) my car was accident; i took my car to Balaji maruti service station. my car was fully ensured, a surveyor came from Iffco Tokiyo (S K Aggarwal )and he declare the car as total loss and offer only Rs.1,90,00 for this due to some adverse circumstances we accept his offer but still the check of Rs. 1,90,000 not received , Now not a single letter or call came from company, personally we tries to contact at Head office Delhi of Iffco Tokiyo and we get a letter from there in which company ask for submission of original R.C. and Original Policy Documents But at same time that letter have incorrect policy No. and correct owner name & Vehicle Number. We are confused to see that, Maruti Insurance Agency Services says that it’s a matter of iffco tokiyo, please guide us, Now we are thinking that we are cheated by your company.                 Its draud comapny dude...be aware next time...They are in insurance business but they are not willing to pay when times comes...I am fighting with them from last 2 years.

                  I got my car insurance renewed from maruti insurance through its dealer Chittosho Motor , Mohali,Punjab ON 20.01.2011. I Deposited a cash amount of Rs.8188/- for the same reciept no.INS.-EXE RECEIPT-798 to Mr. Deepak.However till date the policy not been issued to me.Policy expires on the midnight of January 22,2011.I am following with company representative for the handover of policy every time he responded sir i am coming but till date not received policy.The dealer is not cooperating and delaying the issuance of policy.Pls. do the needful.

                  I had received phone calls during August from FAIR DEAL CARS PVT. LTD, 485A, Main G.T Road, Jhilmil, Shahdara, Delhi - 110095 for renewal of my car policy which is due on 13.09.09. On 18.08.09 I had given cheque for the premium amount which dated 26.08.09. My account had debited on 29.08.09. But till day
                  they had issued Cover Note or Policy to me. Today (13.09.09) is my policy due. When I contacted there is no response at the same their staffs behaving arrogantly. Now how I will go out or to office since I don't have policy renewed. Where I have to contact and what I have to do? Please..
                  I agree. The insurance policies of Maruti cars (National Insurance Comapany Ltd.) are not being delivered in time. Staff has very rough and casual attitude once the cheque is received and banked. I am facing similar situation.

                    However, the policy document bearing r having wrong registration number UA12A5949
                    Now they are refusing to reimburse my claim and I am chasing them like anything during my working hours.
                    I am sure that there is a mistake from KTL Motor's end and due to the same I am facing lot of difficulty

                      Maruti being such a big name in Indian auto mobile industry but they are not open to take feedback. I have escalated to their CRM team, Mr Ashit (Regional Manager) & Mr Pankaj Narula (Head - Service/Ops) but no serious action has been taken.

                      I am feeling cheated by one of your MASS : Auto tech Engineers, sector 3, Dwarka. Car no. AS14 A 1455 was given for accident repair against insurance taken from Maruti (National insurance). It was told to us by Mr Bharti (Works Manager) that transaction with be cashless and no amount shall be paid by us.

                      Today they have charged us 7,074/- against the repair stating the amount will come to us directly from insurance company.

                      On questioning him, he was so bloody rude. This is not the service we expect for Maruti or their associates. I need an answer on following points otherwise I will forced to go on Blogs/internet and ensure updating false promises made by Maruti while selling insurance stating it is a cashless transaction.

                      Ø Why were we misguided by Maruti at the time of selling of Insurance?
                      Ø Why were we misguided by MASS?
                      Ø Who has given Mr Bharti right to speak to us so rudely (This will create bad name for Maruti)

                      Till date I have not got my money, not sure whom should I approach now. If someone can help, please help

                        I had purchased an used car of maruti suzuki swift make in april-10 from automotive manufacturer's Ltd.'s True Value Show Room at kamptee Road nagpur. After three months I got endorsement copy of my ICICI-Lombard Gen Insurance Policy Document in my favour. After few months I had registered an accident claim. The claim was passed but the claim surveyor replied me that claim payment is not processed due to endorsement fee is not received from maruti insurance.
                        Please guide me in this favour.

                          i M.satyanarayana reddy has done on line renewal of alto insurance policy www.marutiinsurance.com. i have not receive policy note since 2 months. i received message from marutiinsurance that my renewal policy no. MI[protected]

                          marutiinsurance — Non renewal of insurance Policy

                          Despite of chasing for last 03 days with Pandit Auto Mobile Yamuna Nagar tele no.[protected] and mobile no.[protected] but they informed me that net work system is not working still there is same problem and policy no. 70799760 expired mid night of[protected]. Please do the needful under advise to me for renewal os the same.

                          Myself Rajib Banerjee, owner of maruti alto lxi car, got my insurance policy renewed through jalan distributors kolkata for the 2nd time this year. Not having the insurance no as of now with me. My car no WB02x 0069, paid the policy premium through cheque drawn on axis bank, dalhousie branch, kolkata in the month of October, if not mistaken. the policy expires in the month of december. The renewed policy docs nor the cover note has reached me so far. I am not able to take my car out, lost the contact details of the agent. I received a call from the agent, verifying the address of my residence to send the renewed policy, say about 10 days back but till today nothing has reached me.

                            My swift Vdi model met with an accident before 3 month vehicle no. UP 85 Q 7800. I had a word with company members what can be happened with this they told me to make a call to someone in insurance company. my car policy no. is 90202338. One member from insurance company came and survey my car named P.K Agrawal, he surveyed and took pictures, And he gave orders to company to repair the car, later when company charged near about 1,70,000, now insurance company is passing only Rs.95,000 thousand. I just want to know that how much is the amount should be passed.However they have all the necessary documents.

                            Please revert ASAP so that i can get the amount.

                              I have a Maruti Swift VXI (DL 2CAH 8244), July 2008 model, bought from Competent Motors - Moti Nagar.
                              For my third year insurance renewal I was contacted by Insurance division of Competent Moti Nagar in June 2010, we agreed for the renewal and cover note for the same was provided # 22367 dated 24-June-2010. Renewal premium was paid by cheque of Rs 8014/- dated[protected] Cheque # 526470 (HDFC).
                              Problem starts now - Cheque was dishonoured by bank due to unauthorised alterations which didn't happen at my end ... for sure. we got this information from our account statement and not from Competent - Moti Nagar. On being contacted they had no clue about it. my previous insurance expired on 27- July -2010.
                              Now
                              a) if i look for insurance from some other agent they ask for survey fees as there is a gap in expiry and renewal plus
                              b) i'll have to pay cheque bouncing charges to the bank
                              c) My car is uninsured since 27 July

                              All this happened because i trusted Competent - Moti Nagar Insurance division to get their basics right and looks like i'll to shell out around 1000/- bucks more towards survey charges and cheque return charges.

                              Can anyone in Maruti Insurance/ Competent help mein sorting this out .... or i look for insurance from some where else ???

                                Myself Praveen Kumar I have renew the policy online payment was made online by using HDFC debit card on dated 24 June 2010 the policy no genreated by system is MI[protected]. at the time of print policy ,printable formet not genreated. i have loged the complaint on helpline numbers but on till date i am not getting policy .

                                My Maruti Zen Estilo car Regn. no. UP32CF0765 was insured vide policy no. 4802245 for the period 07.11.2008- 06.11.2009. I paid premium for its renewal in Maruti Show Room of M/s A-One Motors, Alambagh, Lucknow. Till date I have not recived the new Policy Certificate.
                                I have paid challan twice to local traffic police for not having the Car Insurance. When I contacted / reminded Maruti Show Room for Insurance Policy, I was being assured that it takes time & will come automatically at my address.
                                I feel it is a gross negligence on part of National Insurance Co.Ltd. as well as Maruti Show Room.
                                Kindly look in to the matter and arrange to send my Insurance Policy ( Original or Duplicate) at my address. Please acknowledge receipt of this mail & reply on my email address - [protected]@bharatpetroleum.in.

                                  I had paid Insurance amount to insurance section of Sai Service of Lower Parel on 12.06.2010. I was told that monday Inspector will come to Inspect my car to allow Insurance Cover. I had requested them to inform me before deputing inspector for inspecting my car as location of car is uncertain some times i may take car to my office or itb will remain at residence. Even then the inspector was deputed and visited to my house where my car was not available inspection.

                                  Now I am pursued to take Insurance of other companys i.e The new India Insurance co. which has niot settled my earlier claims nor cooperated by providing me necessary references for denying the claims in earlier years.

                                    Sir,

                                    I own a maruti swift RJ14 CD 2339 and got the insurance policy renewed by Maruti Insurance in march 2010 with cashless advantage.

                                    I met with an accident on 4/5/10 and went to the dealer(M/S Vipul Motors) on 5/5/10. I did all the formalities of the claim procedure.

                                    By evening I recieved a phone call from the surveyor which really made me felt that i have done a big mistake by opting for maruti insurance for my vechile. I was really embarrassed to have maruti insurance as my policy.

                                    It seemed as if I have to know before the accident how much my car wil get damaged. When I asked him about the fender damage he told me about all the leaglities of the insurance companies and made sure that i should never ever opt again for this insurance poilcy and told me that it cannot be done whereas it was damaged in the accident. I was remembering the face of the guy who had done my policy and had made various claims of hassleless and ease in case of claims settlement.
                                    I was feeling cheated.

                                    It was never expected such a erratic behaviour from a reputed and no.1 company of cars i.e. Maruti in india. I had faith on maruti which was shattered by this behaviour.

                                    Is there anyone to listen to our complaints .????

                                    dear sir,

                                    i have bought a car from batra auto which is insured by icici lombard . due to some reason the registration of my delayed . an accident happened with me on 19 may 2010 . i went to batra to subbmit my car for repair & the suryey has finish his duties as well he was saying that i can not claim the damage money because my car is not registered at the time of accident. no body is ready to help me in this case . icici surveyor was saying that we will not give the claim to you . you can go every where whether it is court or maruti also.

                                    please look this matter seriously and help me in this case .

                                      i got a mauti alto car insured by maruti insurance through its dealer M/s gulzar motors situated at ludhiana. My car was insured in feb 2009 but till date i have not received my policy yet due to that my policy status is BREAK UP POLICY
                                      its only their negligence that i am lodging this complaint
                                      kindly resolve at the earliest
                                      as today when i asked them to fax a copy of my policy there revert is that their fax machine is not ok and i hav to visit them personally to collect the same

                                      My Maruti 800 Due car Regn. no. KL 11 AC 6935 was insured for the period from 2010-201I.I paid the premium for its renewal in Maruti Show Room of M/s INDUS MOTORS, CALICUT. Till date I have not recived the new Policy Certificate.

                                        I got my car insured through Maruti Naraina on[protected]. The policy was effective from 22.02.2009 to 21.02.2010. The payment towards premium was made by cheque which was got encashed by Maruti in February, 2009 itself. In February, 2010 when I thought for renewal of policy on line, it was surprised to see that my policy is cancelled. I enquired the grounds of cancellation of policy from Maruti, they are unable to reply. On this type of attitude, no body should get the Insurance from Maruti. It is not known from which date this insurance is cancelled. It seems Maruti has no responsibility, but they are only making money.
