Sir/Madam,

I had purchased a new Swift LXI on November 18th 2011 and found brake issue in it after one week when it moving using half clutch to front or reverse. The issue is getting in some situations when taking reverse or taking forward in a heavy traffic using half clutch and applying brake, the brake got stuck and vehicle continuous moving. I have informed this at that time itself and the dealer changed brake booster and brake pad, but issue not get resolved. Again I have complained and they forwarded the complaint to Maruti. Maruti TSM in Cochin checked the vehicle and they are not accepting the issue and advised to use hand brake on those situations. More than 10 experts from Indus and Maruti checked my vehicle and no solution provided yet. Now I am not getting any responses from them.
This is really irritating for me because after spending 5 lakhs for a car and getting these type of experience and treatment from Maruti & Indus since the brake is the major secure thing in a vehicle.

Maruti Suzuki — Brake Issue

This finds reference to a Maruti Suzuki Swift ZXi model purchased in February 2009. Since the beginning I have been complaining on breaking issue at every service. My car has run 20000 kms during this period and have raised this issue every time. I have been given the assurance every time that the issue is resolved but it keeps coming back 2- 3 days after the service.



The reason I am raising this issue here is because the break slips during sudden breaking and does not stop as desired. This can lead to grievous accident in case it is not set right.

What we should do is press the brakes fully first and then press the clutch fully. I tried it and it worked.”
I am also facing the same problem (Brakes gets hard at slow speed and turnings) in my Maruti Swift VXI, since purchased in Dec 2011. Raised this issue several times to Guindy service center and also directly spoke with Mr.Narayanan, TSM, Chennai. But he simply said, it is not a problem, but a system. He called this system as 'Anti Slagging system'. He said, It can't be rectified and if you don't like this system, you can sell the car and buy a Diesel version. I don't know what to do. I have met several small accidents so for. Now I am not using my car and waiting for Maruti to take appropriate action to rectify this issue.

      i had booked my vehicle (MARUTI SWIFT DZIRE ZXI) ON 13 MARCH 2012.I WAS ASSURED THE DELIVERY IN 2 MONTHS I.E 13 MAY 2012.ON VERBAL CONFIRMATION ON 11 APRIL FROM KULDEEP MOTORS ETAWAH,I WIHDREW CONVEYANCE ADVANCE FROM MY COMPANY (GAIL INDIA LTD) AND THE LOAN WAS GRANTED TO ME ON 16TH APRIL 2012. WITH A CONDITION TO SETTLE IT IN 1 MONTH OTHERWISE INCURRING HUGE PENALTY .

      THIS IS TO BRING TO YOUR NOTICE DAT TILL DATE I HAVE NOT RECIEVED MY VEHICLE AND HAVE PAID A PENALTY OF RS 1 LAKH DUE TO SUCH .

      Maruti suzuki Ltd. — Not delivering car in time

      Dear Sir,

      I have booked for Maruti Swift VXI on 7th of JULY 2007 by 10,000.00 RS. After five month pass away they were telling you have to give more money for advance otherwise we will not provide you car.Although I have given another amount of 50,000 in the month of NOV-07 But this time they are tell you have to take different car as the model is not available now.
      Now on the circumtance , I will like to inform that after giving 60,000/- and waiting for seven months and almost thousands of phone calls still I am not getting my car.
      I have talked with the deler representative and they are still tyring to take more money from me.

      Maruti suzuki Ltd. — Not solving repeated same complaint

      I got my Maruti-800 serviced from Kataria Automobiles, S.G. Highway, Ahmedabad before three months back. On the same day of getting the car serviced, the car was used to stopped immediately when the speed was reduced.I immediately called Mr. Dilip ZALA, the supervisor, who attended my car. He advised me to call immergency service. On callin the emergency service, I was advisewd to get the car more fulled. On the same day I feeded more fuel but the problem was not solved. I again called imergency service, they promised to come to my residence to solve the problem next day. But no one ws turned up irrespective of my frequentr call. After one week I took my car to the service station, Mr. Dilip Zala reported me that the carbutor wants to be sreviced and gave me an estimate of further Rs.1700 of expense. . On my argument of the repeated calls to him and emergency service and yet not solving the complain since the service of the car,he managed to increase RPM of the car. But from the next day the same problem repeated. Again I complained the supervisor and advised to contact imergency service. The emergency service van came twice but did not solve the problem and advised to take the car to service station. To day when I was going for service station, the cell got completely burnt besause of repeated starting of the car as it was frequently stopped. How I solve my problm ?

      Suzuki — Not delivery on Time

      My name is Manas Arora.Actually i had booked a sujuki access 125cc scooter before one month At Tej motors in amritsar.Showroom maneger told me to take the scooter in one week .Now at today i have not get any phonecall regarding scooter deleivery from showroom manager. kindly you suggest me to what step should i have taken on Showroom Maneger.My phone munber is [protected].I will wait for ur reply.

        On 23rd April 2012, I was travelling to my home town with my family and relations (Brother in law and Sister) who came on vacation for a week i.e. to Hyderabad from Nagpur by my car Maruti Suzuki Wagon R Duo with Registration No. MH 31 CR 5493 which I bought from M/s. Automotive Motors Limited in the year 2008. On this day, I met with an accident around 0945 AM at Shedgaon i.e. 65 Km. from Nagpur on NH 7.
        Suddenly, my vehicle took left turn on its own when I was on the straight road of good Highway standards without any bumpiness and my vehicle was on left side of the road nearer to the shoulders of the highway road and I was maintaining the speed of 60 to 70 Kmph and I tried to apply break and take right turn then the vehicle fell to the right side i.e. already vehicle was on kaccha and stopped by hitting the heap of cow dung which is used as manure for fields.

        In this, my wife got her pelvic bone fractured along with head injury and advised to take bed rest for 40 days after 10 days stay at the corporate hospital and relations i.e. my brother-in-law and Sister got hurt on the head, wrist and shoulders and were in the hospital for 5 days in the corporate hospital and advised to take rest for 3-4 weeks. Luckily, my children ( 6yrs and 2yrs) and me escaped with minor injuries and still we are struggling with lot of body pains and muscle pains even till date, as per doctor it will take another 3-4 weeks and we too stayed in hospital for 3 days.
        After this incident, I informed M/s. Automotive Motors Maruti Show room person to pick up the vehicle from the accident site and they arranged the crane to move the vehicle to body shop, in the mean time I told the M/s. Automotive Motors Maruti Works Manager to investigate in this regard as I felt this is not the accident by human error, any obstruction or anybody hit me behind or I did not hit anybody in the front. He said, he will do but till date he did not do any preliminary investigation. As per few experts’ analysis and me, it is said to be a mechanical problem with the vehicle. I really did not get any help from the dealer M/s. Automotive Motors Limited in this regard to help me out from the situation by forwarding my request to you to investigate and do the need full, which I feel your company does not have any such policy derived as on date. By this, it is clearly understood that, your dealers are more interested in Sales but not in after sales services.
        As soon as the crane tried to lift the vehicle from the accident site, the vehicle’s rear right wheel got detached from the vehicle’s body. I could not pursue with M/s. Automotive Motors as all our family members (including me) are in hospital for the above said period.
        We, our family members are totally sick even today as we are suffering from body pains, unable to do our normal day to day work and sleep flatly because of pain. As my parents are old i.e. 75 yrs and 65 yrs who stay in our home town and I am staying alone in this city, as I am on transferable job, hope you understand the saga through which I am going. We have to engage the maid for cooking, look after my children and nurse to look after us.
        For all this, I have to shall out the money like water, in today’s world nobody does service free of cost and I am in total financial crunch for unknown reason. In addition to these, my brother in law and me has to be on leave for almost 20 days each, this is another financial burden which we have faced.
        I would like to know the reasons for the accident in detail and also need clarification in the following points:
        1. How the rear right wheel got detached from the body with this accident without hitting any object or vehicle. (Fig.1) and see the wheel axle too.
        2. How the axle supporter did bend with this speed impact that in the gravel/cow dung. (see Fig.2)
        3. How the wheel drum broken(see Fig. 3)
        4. Why the body did break and bend. (see Fig. 4)
        5. Lot more questions rise in this if you see the pictures clearly (see photographs attached).
        The loss incurred to me is incomparable in all fronts i.e. health wise, mental stress, financial wise, etc. Keeping all this in mind, compensate me accordingly and replace the vehicle with the new one, as the vehicle is having multiple technical problems which have no reasons to explain (see the photographs attached of vehicle and family members discharged from hospital and get the Police Punchanama Copy from your dealer).
        In addition to all this, I am the pride owner of Maruti Suzuki for the past 10 years as we own Maruti Zen D in the home town and still it is in good condition in all the aspects even after running 80,000 kms without any hiccups.
        I would like to get clear and detailed report of investigation and the reasons at the earliest. The trauma we are experiencing, no one should experience in the future.
        Hope to get the detailed investigation report along with the compensation and replacement of the new vehicle.

          Hi,

          I purchased Suzuki Access 125 on 5th Jan 2011. I'm residing H.NO-10 Sawan Vihar(Behind B.D Mill) Ambala Cantt. My vehicle no is HR01AB-6340. Problem I'm getting is my vehicle get stopped whenever I slow down its race. I asked my nearby agency Nikunz motors to check this problem. After getting service it works fine for every 5 days maximum but thereafter it starts give this problem again. More than 15 times, I went to agency to make it repair. But they didn't find any good solution and still am facing this issue with my vehicle.

          I'm gonna print this article in newspaper and also suggest people to never buy this vehicle. Because after getting many services still my vehicle is giving same problem from last 6 months.

            Greetings!!

            I have bought Maruti Wagon R from True Value Shop ( Magic Auto ) Dwarka. Since the purchase of car it was not working properly sometimes it stops moving and sometimes its CNG is not working my car is still under warranty till 24th May 2012.

            Now Iam very fed up with my car after repeatedly request with dealer they are not doing much more regarding the same.

            Pls guide me what to do now ?

              Dear Sir,

              Myself taken a suzuki access 125 from manikandan motors cochin on 04/08/2011 - Frame no MB8CF4CAGB8314289 and Engine no F[protected].

              Done services with thiruvalla suzuki (pathanam thitta district kerala).

              On first service itself complained about Key sytem failure and informed will replace on availability.

              Upon frequent complaints they replaced key sets on 23/3/12, During replacing keys mechanic reported that the front body cover is fully damaged inside and all screw ports are broken.they said the ports are broken and even 3 screw ports are not available. Informed me that it was transit damage or pdi damage.

              On the same time i contacted Manikandan motors and informed complaint. they insisted to bring vehicle to their dealer point.

              On the same time, I stopped servicing my vehicle and went to Manikandan motors cochin to inform about the complaint.

              There I was ill treated and they send me to their service center to for complaint.

              I had contacted Mr Rajesh / Tossy at their service center and given complaint.

              They didnt give any record for complaint and insisted to surrender vehicle their and on availability only they will replace.Since front cover is not available i didnot left vehicle there and given 2 nos [protected]/ 2535080/81 and informed will contact back after 1 week.

              I had done a complaint to suzuki motors on their website regarding @ complaint no 559695.

              Till date i didnot received any calls from dealer/ manufacturer regarding my complaint and my vehicle running with damaged parts.

              Request advice to do the needful for taking legal actions aganist this Scooter company or replace my defective parts. .

                  I have decided to replace the both shock absorbers for my Baleno in the month of December. On Dec 24th, I have bought the shock absorbers from RM Motors - ECIL X roads - A maruti certified part supplier. I have purchased the shocks and have replaced them with old ones

                  After 3 + Months, I went for recheck of my car and one of shocks found to be defective with full of oil leakage. I went to RM Motors and they say they can maximum give 25% discount on new shock and wont refund me any money.

                  PLease tell me what should I do.

                    Booked one car Swift VDI with Modern Automobiles, Ambala.

                    The purchase is through CSD and the entire payment has been paid through draft to CSD.

                    The LOS issued by CSD has been handed over to Modern Automobiles, Ambala. The delear is demanding handling charges of Rs 2000.

                    However, the price paid to CSD includes the handling charges of Rs 2700.

                    Kindly clarify, is any payment need to be paid to local delear on account of handling charges which is already paid.

                        I booked Swift Dezire Diesel Vdi. your one of the chennai dealer of Indus Moters Kattupakkam Branch on Feb 15 th. That time your peoples committed test drive fesilities with in 2 to 3 weeks to me. But still now i didnt get test drive.

                        Last 2 weeks i asked for test drive, but your peoples told me, Diesel vechile Test drive not available in show room. only petrol vechile only available in show room. How can i know the perform of diesel vechile. i cant understand your peoples thinking.

                        Same time i asked that petrol vechile for test drive. Still now i didnt get.

                        Also my waiting period 75 days from my booking date. Days are going on. Still now i didnt get any response from your side. everyday i am calling your peoples but no response.


                        Note: last 9 years its my fourth Maruti vechile. every 2 years i am changing my vechile

I had been fitted a CNG kit from a government authorized dealer and registered with haryana government in Registration certificate and insurance. i found a problem in my car stairing. and went to the pasko dealer and got the warranty for my cars stairing but now i have got another problem in my car that it is going over heating. i gone to the dealer Mr Dager (Manager Workshop) told me that they can not give the warranty because of CNG fitment from outside but i said that i registered from haryana government and before that i taken the warranty of my cars stairing. but they are not taking any intrust in that metter and harassment me .that is very big problem. i had given them three lack foury thousand for that car and they are not giveing me the warranty for that. i have 1year 3 month warrent left. but thay can not help me to do my car fit.

                            maruti suzuki a star lxi — not providing good service

                            yesterday when i went at service centre of maruti suzuki in okhala in new delhi at apra auto mobile for my a-star lxi service. i went there around 1'o clock for its 3rd service. nobody was there to attend me and when i saw that nobody is coming to attend me than i went to manager room for complaint but even there she didnt show any attention towards our complaint so i wana complaint about all the staff there for there improper attention and aboout there poor service

                              respected sir,
                              i own a car maruti suzuki zen-1998 modal. vehicle is registered in kerala. i paid tax upto 1999, then i paid life time tax in karanataka without changing the registration.In RC book they, wrote" karnataka lifetime tax is paid, no noc provided". now i want to change the ownership to other person. my tax is valid upto 2015. i cunsulted kerala RTO , According to them , i have to pay the tax there also with penalty. please help me to solve this issue. please note i paid karnataka tax because i got transfer for my job from kerala to karnataka.

                                  This is regarding my Maruti Swift LDI UP16 AD 2524, which i bought from Rohan Motors (Noida) a year ago.
                                  My vehicle is insured from National Insurance which got renewed recently in the last month.Due to a severe accident my car got severely damaged and i gave it in Rohan Motors Body Shop.The manager promised to give me the car in a weeks time,but its been two weeks i havn`t got my car yet,neither i got informed.When i went to the Body Shop i found my vehicle in a very pathetic condition as none of the work was complete and there was a complete mismatch in colour of body and changed parts.When asked the concerned person showed a very casual attitude with a very rude and unpleasant behaviour.
                                  Kindly do the needful.

                                  These guys are completely useless, I gave my car for repair on 18th April 2012 (Rohan motors body shop NOIDA), We I got my car back, memory card & CD from music system was stolen. When I checked with Service Adviser he said he can't do anything about it. This is really very annoying. Can anyone tell where to submit strong complaint against there guys.

                                  I agree with Mr. HP Singh these guys in Rohan Motors are quite blunt and rude in behavior and more interested in selling service product more.They do not want to give ear to customer problem. Avoid going for service to Rohan Motors Noida. On counter argument they try to pacify customer by calling TSM( MR. Gagan) who says same thing as said by Rohan Motors.

                                      I bought suzuki access 125 scooter from Classic Omega showroom at Thrissur in Kerala State. Service period is going on. I told the showroom-service section about my vehicle's starting complaint. Deliberately both of the sections ie; kick start and button are not working. They sent assistants twice into my house. But after their repair it again collapses. In the case of service they are friendly in the beginning but after some days they are not behaving in a favourable manner. And in the case of this showroom in Poonkunnam,Thrissur,Kerala- not much facilities for good service. Dears, please inform them to behave in a good manner to the customers and make awailable facilities for service. They are only profit oriented. If this countinues your product may lost it's mileage in our area. Please take necessery actions...

                                        Iam Babu.P.K from Anchal,Kollam,Kerala.I have purchased an Alto k10 Vxi from HERCULEES MARUTHI,ANCHAL,KOLLAM,KERALA head officed at Trivandrum,Kerala hearing the coloured words of an EXECUTIVE named MAHESH.The onroad price said to me was Rs.342556.51/-.My old vehicle 2003 model Omni has been exchanged.When I enquired about exchange price of my old omni they said that they would give me Rs.75000/- as value and Rs10000/- as exchange bonus,total Rs.85000/-.Seeing it a good price for my Omni I exchanged my Omni instead of Alto k10 Vxi.Then i gave a DD of Rs.259000/- from Dhanalekshmi Bank Punalur Branch.According to this an amount of Rs.1443.49/- should be returned to me.


                                        When I asked for registering the vehicle they asked to pay Rs.17000/- to get the vehicle registered.I complainted to Maruthi Customer care on 07/04/2012.In the afternnon an official named Harish from Herculees Maruthi Trivandrum called me and prommised me to comprimise the problem to my side.And also in my Temporary Permit the adress is Shylaja,Aswathi,Thazhamel,Pathanapuram and in my Insuarance it as Shylaja,Karthic Traders,Anchal.This also made me a great loss of can't using the vehicle.Through an email they have sent me Apology Letter.

                                        Seeing no progress in my complaint,I filed a pettition aganist Herculees Staff who have cheated me.In the Police Station also Herculees staff showed their Influance to get the favour in their side.So kindly make a solution for me to register the vehicle.
