This is regarding my Swift car registration number RJ14 CC 0945 which I had purchased from K.P. Automotives.
I have got its service done many a times with the same complaint that i or anybody else who gets into the car receives an electric shock while opening or closing the door.

Everytime the car is serviced, the problem persists and when I ask the respective heads that the problem is still there. I am answered that they cannot repair this problem, in such a case if Maruti service stations cannot fetch the problem out of my car then where should I go or should I stop using the car because in such case we have to get fully alert before opening / closing the car and the comfort seems to be nowhere.

Even when someone else gets into the car everytime i cannot mention that be careful you will recieve the shock or something like that.

I want to know what shold I do in such a case.

    Sir,
    I have been trying have my Ritz Lxi (Bakers Chocolate) in time. Loan amount 280, 000 has been disbursed and an adv booking has been given to Bimal Auto. It has been 13 days since i booked the car. And I need to wait another 20 days or more. I AM PLANING TO GO FOR HUNDAI AS THER IS NO AVAILABILITY.

    KINDLY TAKE THE APPROPRITE ACTION AS I AM PAYING THE INTEREST TO HDFC BANK.

      Actually i had written a mail to Maruti.

      How is that your dealer is not ready to offer warranty on parts fitted by them. If i buy a spolier they say we cannot gurantee the paint quality. They say bubbles may come after painting ( They have done this twice). They are not doing any good will by returning back the money. They have wasted my time. When i fitted the accessories they never told me all this.

      Also regarding door moulding they fell off on the road. I cannot drive my car to office with two door mouldings missing. And do you expect me to keep the failed items in my car.

      Let me make one thing very clear if cannot support for a part they should not sell it. Who will pay me for the visits i have made to Sai service for 5 - 6 times in 1 month.

      And it is better they dont ise words like Good will. Also i feel dealers should keep only MGA approved accessories.

      Anyways this is the last Maruti product i have purchased in my life. Thanks for your poor service and GOOD WILL.

      Also FYI the vibration from the side doors still does exist and also the rear seat lock keeps coming out. I dont have time to come to rectify this to the service centre.

        Dear Manager at Maruti Suzuki National/Circle/Zonal Offices.
        I purchased a maruti zen estilo vxi UP 70 AV 1927 from Amitdeep Motors, Allahabad in april last year. The front left power window was almost jam while the time of delivery. I was assured that this problem will be resolved same day by sending a service engineer at my place. Sending someone is a far away case, the problem is not yet resolved even after I have visited the service center for more then 10 times for this problem. I had the 4th paid service before 15-20 days and after that my average has reduced from 18 Km to 14 Km in highway journey. There is a noise problem when the accelerator is pressed but the service engineers in amitdeep motors are unable to rectify the problem. While driving, it feels as if there is some problem with the injector because it feels as if slight brakes are applied while driving all the time. The pick up is too bad and the car vibrates miserably on a slight low speed.
        Kindly help me out.

        Dear Sir / Madam

        I am from Bhavnagar Gujarat. My problem is related with choice of colour of Maruti S. Zen Estilo LXi. I plan to purchase this model car in next month but in your authorized show room in this city only Red & white colour is available. Dealer told me production of this car now presently has been stopped. We can not manage other colours.
        Can you provide my choice of colour ie. Sliver silky or gold siliky etc. Pl guide

          The undersigned has received a ‘feed-back’ letter from you in the month of Mar’2009 which I will be mailing you soon.



          I am sorry to bring this fact into your kind notice that letter has been held up by me till date due to the extremely poor services rendered by your dealer M/S KTL Ltd., Lucknow



          Here I would like to mention that I am a very old customer of M/S MARUTI UDYOG LTD. This is my third car. I normally exchange my maruti car once in five years.



          I had been running from pillar to post among the staff of M/S KTL to have my vehicles problem rectified at their service-Centre which occurred due to their own negligence but each time I was charged and problems in my car persist continuously.



          When I approached to your Regional Office at Lucknow, I was directed to go to M/S ANAND MOTORS, CHINHAT, Lucknow . Accordingly I visited them and I personally appreciate that all my engine problems were rectified in a day by them for which M/S KTL kept on running me for approximately two months.



          PROBLEMS:

          Ø There was noise in my front Left Strut. When I lodged complaint

          with M/S KTL, they charged me for the ‘bush-kit’ and labor for this strut job vide Bill No. RC08002317 dated 01.02.2009 but did not replace it despite this part was well covered under warranty period. Mr. Sharad (The Service-Advisor) told me that this part is not covered under warranty. STRUT NOISE IS STILL PERSISTING

          Ø Some noise occurred in my engine just after servicing. When lodged complaint, they kept on running me. I visited them ¾ times in this regard. Finally I was blamed by Mr. Sharad that this noise is nothing but my psychology only. ( later this abnormal noise was rectified by M/S ANAND MOTORS)



          You are, therefore, requested to look into this matter and take necessary action against M/S KTL who are defaming MARUTI’s name and harassing Maruti-Car Owners.



          Subsequently you are also requested to have my money refunded (including the amount to be compensated which I paid to M/S ANAND MOTORS).



          An early action is awaited.

            I purchased A maruti LXI in MAR09 from BTRA Auto Mobiles Mathura Road Faridabad Haryana

            At the time of deleivery Itself The Tyre front Left was punchered before handelling Over Keys
            and I live in Green Fields 2.5 Km from Dealar showroom right tyre rear got punchered bothis is due to failing the valve as per Dealar mechenic it some times haapen that Old Stockes of Tyre and Tubes creates such problems. Anyways It had been rectified after strong folow Up with sales person who dosn't Inform anything about vehicle before deleivery.
            The most worst part is in case of RC wich had been promised by sales person that he will provide in thirty days is not been provided yet although after first service on 19/5/09. again promissed that it will be provided in comming week now it has been 15 days total 45 days after purchasing no information and now the sales person is not picking Up the form
            In a feedback call from Maruti cusomer care customer executive disconected the phone when asked to make a complaint against Dealar of improper treatment with the customer

            Maruti Suzuki a brand name need to do something for a better customer satisfaction after deleivery services

            Alto Lxi — Customer dissatisfaction

            Dear sir/madam

            iam sundar and i bought a new alto car reg #TN 02 w 1633 on feb 2006 and till now i have driven only 7000 kilometers and in the recent floods on Nov 22 my vehicle got drowned and i gave my flooded vehicle to nearby service center maruthi named popular services in saligrammam, chennai, india on 24.nov.2008, but till now my vehicle was not serviced in a good condition. On one fine day i got a call stating that my car was serviced and can be taken. Mr. Roshan was the first person to call me on behalf of my car and i went to get back my car. I was shocked to see that my car was not being serviced at all. Seats were very wet and my mat was misplaced and instead one worn out old mat was placed and i fixed lights on the base but they were broked during lifting my vehicle and head lamps were not foccusing properly, cranck sound was heared on my stearing and was tight, wheels were noisy when moving in a slow speed, pickup was very low, my pioneer set was out of service and right side door got a dent made by them and scratches made by them was horrible ( till now only one dent was made by me and no scratches was done by me during these 2 + years) but they didnt except this at all.

            I spoke with the manager reg this and he said it will be rectified and on one day i got a call that the tyre sound was made due to the reason that it was having a problem in the thread so i have to apply for the jk tyre company so i did and i paid Rs.324 on[protected] and got a new tyre. Then the tubes which were broken by them they accepted and deducted the price in the bill. They also excepted the scratches and dents made by them and rectified them.

            But their service advisor after roshan Mr. keshav rao was attending my vehicle then i got a cranck sound on the stearing but he said it was due to the reason that it was oiled if i drove it for few km then it will become normal and there is also a noise in the front fan he said that it will also come down in a few days. I trusted him and took my vehicle back on 24th december. Then i went out with my parents for a ride then i noticed that the stearing was not properly fixed i was in a high way. When the stearing was placed in a straight condition the vehicle was goind towards the left and noise of the fan increased and also lights were not focussing its deviating towards the left extremely.

            Again on 29th dec i went back to complain Mr. Keshav rao said to me that the stearing column should be changed and also the fan as the coil was worn out. He promised me that it will come within a couple of days and asked me to come on 02 jan 2009 i did but no stock was the answer from him. Then i went on 12 jan 2009and waited from morning 9 till eve 6 for my vehicle to be returned. Now Mr. Mani was taking care of my vehicle. Their manager Mr Balaji promised that it will be done within a couple of hours but it took many hours but ended in vein.

            Till now the problem was not yet solved. I went to the service station more than 25 times but no result till date so i request you to take necessary action in this matter regarding.
            They are pesturising me and testing my patience.


            I kindly request you sir/madam to take severe action. Please inform me weather u ll take action atleast becos iam wexed hearing false promises from them. I heared ull take action hence i mailed please do the needfull in this matter regarding.

            The manager and the team mates are producing bills which makes me to get heart attack till now they gave me a bill of nearing 75000 both insurance and my depreciation coverings. But i dont trust them weather all were fixed in a brand new parts???

            Maruti Suzuki Alto Lxi — car fell and broke by service station

            My name is v.m.govindarajan, Iam a gazetted oficer of Railways. I have given my new car ( ALTO LXi, TN 03 AF 6952) for second service to the maruti suzuki dealer of Annanagar, Chennai Branch called M/s.Popular Vehicles and Services Ltd., 93/1, Arcot Road, Virugam bakkam, Chenai-92 on 09.04.09 AN. nEXT DAY, they throwed a bomb shell over the phone that my car was fallen down fromthe 3 metre high diped lift to the floor and damaged severely. When I approached shri. Senthil of M/s.Popular, Ch-92, Service MAnager, is not prepared give me in any copy of the accident report happened within their campus. Moreover, HE has not committed to prepare any minutes of meeting discussed among us also. He has reported the incident after 12 HOurs passed. NO responsible higher officer in charge attended me in view of this severe damage of my brand new car just 6 month old and just 1136 km drove. I demanded them that it needcomplete replacemnt with a new car with whatever I have provided all additaional features to my car. Chasis No: MA3EYD [protected], eNGINE nO: F 8 DN 1243967 bought on 23.10.09.I need a remedy and compensation for my mental agony.

              Dear Mr. Kumar,
              I am prof. R. Gangaprasad (former member of consumer redressal forum, Kollam, Kerala).The pully & crank lock (full set) of my Baleno car ( reg.no. KL 23-4675, chasis no. MA3EEJ9 IS 00133422, engine no. G 16 BBN 527534, purchased from Sitaraman& Co. Trissur, Kerala, on 18/01/07) has damaged due to manufacturing defect. The full set including shaft has to be replaced now as reported by your authorised dealer POPULAR VEHICLES & SERVICES, KOLLAM, KERALAM. I have been informed that repairs cannot be done free of cost. My car has just elapsed 2 years in this January since purchased and completed only 18629 km of distance. Our warranty has just been expired but still the car has not completed 20000 km. of running. I request u to get the parts (pully, crank lock & shaft ie. the full set) replaced free of cost.
              I hope your good self may not view this case only as legal basis but on merit and justice . I have one maruti-800 for which no claim is placed either with maruti or with the insurer for the last 10 years of its purchase.
              So I request you to be good enough to consider my request and issue necessary direction to your authorized dealer POPULAR VEHICLES & SERVICES, KOLLAM, KERALA to replace the full set of pully, etc. free of cost.

                SIR/MADAM,

                I CONTACTED MARUTI DEALER FOR TRUE VALUE "BERKELEY AUTO" AT PANCHKULA FOR PURCHASE OF WAGON R AVAILABLE AT THEIR WEB SITE NO.HR03G 1515 PRICED AT Rs. 210000/-.ACCORDINGLY I COMPLETED THE FORMALITIES WITH MY BANKERS.
                I WAS SHOCKED WHEN AT THE LAST MOMENT THE SALES HEAD REFUSED TO HONOUR THE PRICE COMMITTED THROUGH THEIR WEB SITE.
                THEY ARE ASKING FOR Rs. 245000/- FOR THE SAME.

                  Dear all

                  I have a brand new maruthi swift desire ( karnataka bangalore )and from the day one onwards the vehicle have a problem with gear box. the third gear moves to the neutral . the gear lever moves to neutral almost an inch. more over when we touch the the gear lever in the third gear we can feel that the gear lever is touching the some gear wheels constantly and looks like it is hitting the lever continuously. While driving faster, if we use the engine breaks by engaging the third gear, if your hand is nudges the lever it comes back to neutral which I w=feel is very dangerous.
                  During the 1000 km service we complained no action was taken. then with constant complaints the mandovi motors have told that they will send some experts to check. nothing happened . finally we have given the vehicle to mandovi to rectify this at about 4500 kilometers run. on saturday 18th april. we are informed that vehicle is ready. when i inspected the problem still persists.. the company claims that most of their vehicles are like that and they are not ready to accept it as a problem.
                  they have also told that I can test any vehicle and see for my self that the all of them are made like that.
                  but to my delight i was right, the vehicle i have driven was much older but it never have any problem which i was referring . third gear was as good as any other gear.

                  I left the vehicle in the workshop of mandovi motors bangalore. they have in turn called the maruthi engineer and i also have spoken to the engineer mr vasanth kumar patel. he says that he has taken this with the company and will get the spares to change.
                  nothing has happened even after 9 days. I am without a vehicle and i am taking a taxi and doing my work . they dont even have the curtsy to tell me what is happening
                  what should i do

                  Hi Pramod,

                  I am using a Swift VDi which is about 15 months old. My car too have the same problem. I have taken my car to the Sagar Auto and they have kept pending stating they are awaiting more technical expertise from the Maruti Company.

                  I feel Maruti has kepts its customer in dark, since when I checked online majority of the Swifts Deisel car which had run on an avg of 35k have the same problem.

                  Maruti is aware of this issue but are not accepting it.

                  DId you get you car rectified finally. I guess this problem occurs for every 35k. Gear Box synchronization goes bad which has to be fixed every 35k.

                    Sub.: Inconvenience due to Misdealings of your Dealer (Sai Service Station, Pune)

                    Sir,
                    Our family is a loyal customer of ‘Maruti’ since the last 15-years. My family bought a Maruti Van in 1994 and then, a Wagon-R in 2004. Both these vehicles served us pretty well and we are satisfied with their performances. Now, I am sorry, that some unfortunate circumstances, led me to take the following matter with you this time.

                    1. I have booked for an ‘A-Star’ vehicle on 4th. April, 2009 with Sai Service Station- Pune, after exchanging our Wagon-R. The initial ‘spot valuation’ for our Wagon-R (well maintained, 2004 Model-single user, 40000KM running) was given as Rs.1, 60, 000/- which was subsequently increased to 1, 70, 000/- and then finalized at 1, 75, 000/-.

                    2. There were no Special Offers for ‘A-Star’ at the time of the above deal and subsequent booking. But, the company (MARUTI SUZIKI) has announced an exchange bonus of Rs.12, 000/- as well as free accessories worth Rs.7, 500/- after a few days of the above deal.

                    3. However, during the delivery of my vehicle, the ‘Special Offers’ announced by the company was adjusted with in the pre-finalized offer of the Rs.1, 75, 000/- of my Wagon-R, arguing that the valuation of the vehicle was done high. (Pl. note, just 2-days after fixing the deal with Sai Service, we got an offer of Rs.1, 85, 0000 for the same vehicle from one of the external dealers, and we had to tell them as the deal is already fixed, nothing could be done).

                    4. Thus in effect, I was not given the benefit of the company offer, to my ‘A-Star’ vehicle. The manipulated adjustment of the ‘Special Offers’ announced by the company, within the pre-fixed amount is definitely a breach on the original agreement, modified suitably to the benefit of only the dealer and in a way it is cheating the customer.

                    5. During the process, though I opted for the ‘Maruti’ insurance cover to my new vehicle, even after waiting for 3-days, the same could not be materialized and hence finally I had to arrange for the insurance from another agent, from the open market. Because of this mess-up, the RTO Registration of my vehicle got delayed for more than 5-days, and finally got it only on 2nd. May evening, though the vehicle was delivered on 27th. April.

                    6. Further, without any pre-intimation, I have been billed for the dealer’s internal ‘Extended Warranty’ option, which is highly unjustified and improper.

                    7. I was not informed of the formality of pre-requirement of 36-Nos. of signed cheques, prior to the disbursement of my loan, though the financing was arranged by the dealer only. Hence, I had only 14-cheques ready with me when all other documents were ready, and this turned out as a nightmare as I had to proceed to New Delhi, the same day for a weeks official duty. This has caused a lot of tension and inconvenience through out my stay at Delhi, as I had no other way but to leave station, without solving it.

                    8. And ironically, the dealer has also tried to impound my new vehicle for the delay in getting the 36 Nos. of signed cheques, though the default has happened from their end, and not from my side. Had this happened, there would have been no option left for me, but to approach the consumer court or police, as both my vehicles (my old one as well as the new one) would have been under the custody of the dealer then, leaving my aged and unhealthy parents handicapped for any emergency(my father is a heart patient and my mother is suffering from acute arthritis).

                    One cannot expect such misdeeds from a professional and probably the oldest ‘Maruti’ dealer of Pune, such as SAI SERVICE.

                    Therefore, I request you to kindly take up the matter so that at least future customers should not get trapped in such deals. And I also request your attention to the matter by which I have been deprived of the benefits of the ‘Special Offers’ announced by the company, for which as a customer I am also eligible.

                    One appreciable good thing happened from the dealer’s side is, that they have delivered my vehicle at my residence, on the pre-scheduled auspicious day, i.e. on the 27th April (‘akshaya thritiya’ day, which is considered in our state of ‘Maharashtra’ as one of the most auspicious day), though I have not insisted for it as only 14 Nos. of my cheques were ready that time. However, till yesterday, the 2nd. May, the vehicle remained unusable, due to lack of RTO-Registration.

                    Finally, I would like to mention here, that I have gone to ‘SAI SERVICE’ and opted for the ‘Maruti A-Star’ vehicle this time only because of the suggestions given by our very old family friend, Mr.Dasgupta who is working there. Otherwise, I had decided and was certain to go for an ‘i-10’this time, though I had no ill feelings against ‘Maruti’.

                    kindly refer to the No. POV-17/4270-71 Dated: 22.06.2009. in this context it is submitted that the Vehicle (Gypsy Eng. No. G13BBN 452259 AND cHASIS nO. MA 5EGF41S[protected] has developed defects in fuel guage, temperature guage, and four bye four shaft (universal). we approached jamkash vehilce leads at least six times but they never responeded to our complaint. kindly intervene in the matter and guide us in this behalf that where we can rectify these defects.

                        Hello I, Gaurav Sahni bought the Car on 27th march 2009, its just 45 days gone to purchase car Swift Vxi model and i am facing problem in the a.c from last 30 days. I bought this car from DD Motors Mayapuri, New delhi. in the first service i told to the service manager that a.c is not working/cooling properly and some noise is coming in blower and the blower speed is very low then they repair, after 3-4 days i was facing same problem then i complaint to service manager that its not working again and then they repair and now i am facing this problem again after 10 days. I dont know what is happening in a.c and even DD motors, mayapuri service is very poor and they dont have experienced service engineers if they had, otherwise i was not facing the problem. I have request to you to replace my a.c because its not cooling properly and not working properly even with blower speed is very low because within a 45 days of purchasing a car i am facing this problem 3rd time. I have a request to you to replace a.c other wise i have to complaint to consumer court for not giving me the service properly and not changing the part also.

                        Maruti Udyog — car air conditioning not functioning

                        Dear Sir

                        I hope this complaint will be attended to atleast.

                        I had registered the same complaint some 8 days prior.

                        I have purchased a wagon R on 23.06.2008 from your dealer at Mapusa Goa.(Chowgule Industries Pvt. Ltd.)

                        After the purchase now its more than 1 month & also the 1st servicing is done.

                        the problem was communicated to their sales person on 3rd day of the purchase i.e 26.06.2008.

                        It was assured that it will be solved in the 1st servicing.

                        But, now still the problem persists

                        the problem is mal functioning of air conditioning.
                        the left hand side vent for the ac on the non-driver side is not blowing air at all. there seems to be some leakage as some smoke from outside can be smelled inside while the ac is on.
                        there is no effective cooling compared to other wagonR I saw in your showroom and same was shown to them. ie. ur chowgule service person.

                        it was cleared to me thaT THESE THINGS ARE NOT IN THEIR HANDS AND THEY [censored] HELP IT.

                          Subject-Regarding my complaint for A-star mileage rally

                          This is to bring to your notice that a car mileage rally for A-star was organized in lucknow on 17-05-09 by Maruti suzuki India ltd and i also participated in it being a proud owner of A-star vehicle no UP32 CS 2260.The distance to be travelled was approx 40 kms for a pre defined route in Lucknow city.
                          To my surprise when the results were announced the first prize(LG LCD) went to gentleman for giving mileage of 41.36 kms per litre. Second and third for mileage of 36 and 33 kms respectively.
                          My query is if the car can give this kind of mileage then why the company is not claiming it in its promotional campaigns and advertisements and if it is unrealistic then how it was publicly announced.
                          Issue is not winning or loosing .The issue is my loyalty with the name Maruti suzuki and its credibility.
                          I request you to find the mileage truth at you end

                          @Mistra These rallies were made under standard conditions. But it reiterates the fact that A-star is most efficient car in its class as ARAI claims. I'm an owner of and it returns super mileage ... i love a-star..i'm ready to answer your queries from owner point of view
                          A-Star is not giving average more than 13-14 Km. in any condition & now it is also being informed by there service centers to owners of these cars, most of the A-Star cars are reaching service centers & dealers for average/ vibration problems, when I purchased A-Star Vxi during starting a beep sound was being listen but after a week this sound is absent when i contacted Service station they told us that no such provision is provided in A-Star Vxi.they are also confirming that this car will not give more than 14Km/ Lt on highway.
                          @arvind - i am the proud owner of A-star LXI. Miliage is good with more than 21KM/ Lt.
                          Only concern is with AC, as it reduces pickup specially on highways.

                            That today[protected] after driving the 331km the engine was defected to drive the car and I went to Max Autos to exmine the problem.The mechanic Balkar Singh and others checked the car and disturbed the carborater, petrol nozels in the last I will say except the engine.                             love this little car despite its 3 recalls! Driver’s door airbag fault, gear lever change and now difficulty changing gears. I called my garage as the warranty was almost up to advise of the issue that had been bugging me for some time only to be advised that my car chassi number shows on the "AFFECTED" list, but no recall letter...thanks Suzuki!! Tones of space inside for a deceptively small car however, I’m not the one driving when it comes to shopping trips, if I’m lucky I can get 4 full bags of shopping in the boot! It’s a good job this car comes with back seats!! I’ve had nothing but bad luck with this car but it’s all been purely cosmetic...and down to other people! despite the numerous spray jobs and an alloy refurb I still love my swift. I wouldn’t recommend this car for families, it’s got space but its more height than overall space. ONE MASSIVE SEASONAL FLAW this car is horrible in snow, it could get stuck in an inch of slush. There’s barely any weight in the front so I find having a shovel and deflating my tyres always comes in handy.

                              I Sidharth Sharma S/o Yoginder Sharma R/o Khanna has purchased a new Maruti Swift (VDI) through Gulzar Motors Ludhiana On 1st March 2009. From first day onwards car has some problems given as...

                              1. Fuel Pump Noise
                              2. Clutch plate & Pressure plates.
                              3. Full car noise (Door and back dickey)

                              After requesting to Gulzar motor for three times they have changed fuel pump and clutch plate but even though car have same problems. I request Gulzar motor again but they have not bothered at all.
                              I have not registered it and have not installed any accessories in it. I humbly request you to replace this car and give me a new one. At present I have Skoda Laura(car) and Ford Endeavour (SUV) cars but till yet I have not face any single problem. Please accept my request, Otherwise I have to go media or consumer court or some other source to solve my problems. For your convince details are given bellow.

                              Maruti Swift VDI — spare part unavailable

                              sir,
                              i pardeep sharma fom shimla having my tour n travel business bought a new swift vdi from goel motors shimla h.p. one months back and unfortunately problem occured in the said vechile and after talking at dealer end the spare part which they told me was unavailable, and due to this im suffering a great loss in my business and if no immediate service will be provided to me i'll be going in consumer forum for relaxation and the said vechile is at competent motors mandi from 13.08.08 till this date.

                              Please note that we at Ipca Laboratories have about 15 Maruti Vehicles but when we approach Patel Motors for repair of these Maruti Cars then we find that most of the spare parts are not available for the last one month such as :

                              1. Side view mirror of Maruti Esteem.
                              2. Hose pipe of Maruti Esteem.
                              3. Various spare parts of Maruti Swift.

                              Please intervene in the matter as if your dealers will not provide the required service then we will be forced to complain to the consumer forum.

                                I have a MARUTI ALTO Lxi which was given 4 times at BATRA AUTO COMPANY ( faridabad) for some sensor problem as its RPM fluctuates abnormaly while driving with A/C switched ON. My car is under warranty and i have been told by many mechanics that it has some sensor problem. But MARUTI is not bothered to change this part under warranty as it is a manufacturing defect.

                                I am really amazed to see this kind of response and its truely not acceptable. Its been 4th time, my car is there in MARUTI service station / workshop.

                                Maruti Udyog Ltd./ Alto Lxi — Poor after sales service

                                I have purchased Alto Lxi from ALFA AUTOMOBILES, Faridabad in June 2007.After 1st service, i have been facing problem with this car related to suspension,noises etc. I have send my car to Batra Auto company , Faridabad 3 to 4 times for the same complaint but it has not been resolved till date .Maruti should understand that customer time is also valuable. If they dont have skilled engineers then they should not support after sales service .

UP80AW-2097 WAS MET WITH AN ACCIDENT AT GURGAON ON 13TH JAN, 2009 AND WAS TAKEN TO MARUTI AUTHORISED DEALER M/S PASCO AUTOMOBILES ( GURGAON) ON 15TH JAN, 2009 WHERE I HANDED OVER ALL THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR THE CLAIM. MY CAR WAS INSURED WITH NATIONAL INSURANCE CO. LTD. THROUGH MARUTI INSURANCE UNDER CASHLESS REPAIRS SCHEME VIDE POLICY NO. 3540726 DT. 12 FEB., 2008 FOR THE PERIOD 26 FEB, 2008 TO 25 FEB, 2009 ISSUED BY MARUTI AUTHORISED DEALER M/S MADHUSUDAN MOTORS PVT LTD, AGRA. MY CAR WAS READY AFTER NECESSARY REPAIRS VIDE THEIR JOB NO. 0172449 AND INVOICE/CAS MEMO NO. 123219 DT 30 JAN, 2009 FOR RS 20872/-.                                   Maruti Suzuki — Non Delivery - Pasco Motors

                                  We had booked Maruti Suzuki Dzire VXI Colour Silky silver from Pasco Motors, Gurgaon (Dealer Code 9506) with booking number 99. The Booking was done in mid of February 2009. We paid the initial booking amount as we wanted the vehicle in Beginning of April and we were assured that we would be delivered vehicle much before committed dateline.

                                  We received a call from Pasco Motors in March end and we were asked to deposit the complete amount as delivery was expected in next 1-2 days. It is almost 14 days since we deposited the complete amount and yet we have not been delivered the car.

                                  We have tried to speak to all in Pasco Motors from Mr. Madan Lal to Mr. Pankaj and explained the requirement of delivery before thursday, the 16th April, 2009, being the date of our function but they are still not committing any date.

                                  I find the attitude of the Dealer being dishonest and untrustful in their approach where deceivingly they have collected the full payment and now citing non-delivery of vehicle from the Company as the reason for non-delivery.

                                  I fail to understand how they had committed the date when it was beyond their control and why they had collected the full payment for delivery when they had not received the vehicle. I call upon the Dealer/ Company to arrange delivery by tomorrow.

                                  dear sir i m facing so many problem with your athorized dealer prem moters sikar road vki jaipur.
                                  from the first day they are not on there comitments. i m facing the follwing problems:-

                                  1 deley in dilivery of car on first day as per the mahurat. i was informed them about the time. fully amount was already deposited by me earliyer.

                                  2 there was so many scrates on the car on the time of dilivery. they comitted me that at the time of first service thay will remove that.

                                  3. deley in returning the offer amount by requsting more than one month.

                                  4 when i m giving that car for first service they deley that for five days n still they are unable to deliver that car,

                                  many other things are also ther which are unable to explain by text.

                                  5 misbehaving by the GM Service.

                                  with all this i need the fruitfull reply from your side in today itself other wise i m going to file a cosumer case against the prem moters.

                                    I have purchased ' SWIFT DZire ' just one month back. I noticed rough paint surface on both sides of car, bellow the doors a bottom line of car body i.e. from front wheel to rare wheel. The surface, it look like either there is air pockets under the paint layer or there are big lums of paint drops setteled on the surface. Could I know why this finish is such ? Is there any reasons behind it ? If so at what benifites, or its simply a quality negligence ? I would like to know that.

                                    Hope your early attention to the matter and your reciprocation to satisfy my issue. Thanks.

                                      Hi,

                                      This is to bring to your notice that Swift Desire (Ldi) was purchased for which delivery was obtained from Modern Auto mobiles on May 06, 2009 .

                                      The car was running locally for 7th and 8th of May, 2009. But on May 09, 2009 while we were going to Karnal after crossing Ambala Cant. we experienced a smell coming from
                                      the AC vents in the car .

                                      Since a tanker was in front of the car it was thought that the tanker moving in front might have been spilling some diesel which was resulting in the pungent smell.
                                      But even after over taking the Tanker the smell continued and we thereafter we closed the blower + AC and immediately that the fuel tanker indicator in the dashboard was
                                      also showing sudden fall.

                                      Apprehending some problem the car was parked in the adjoining Petrol Pump Dhillon service station before Chaupal restaurant .And after stopping the car smoke was seen coming from the bonnet and after opening the bonnet it was seen that the smoke was all around in the Engine area and lot of diesel had flown which could be the line marked below the car on the road.

                                      After talking to the service station people I was asked to call some mechanic whose number was displayed at the service station itself and Mr.Radhe Sham was contacted over mobile[protected] at 0935 AM of May 09, 2009 and he was asked to rush to the spot and he was informed that the ignition key the diesel was seen oozing out from the engine top that is the portion covered with some black plastic.

                                      After about some 10 mins the mechanic came and after opening the above mentioned plastic cover, and it was noticed that the lock provided in the return nozzle had came out which had resulted into the fuel (diesel) discharge from this area .The entire portion beneath the plastic cover was seen dipped in diesel and it took lot of time to remove the diesel by inserting the cloth and then squeezing the cloth time and again.The later part of getting it dried by powering water showers and thereafter with air blower and running the vehicle for sometime before moving the vehicle .In this transaction I almost lost the half tank of diesel which was about 15-20 liters and more than one and half hour besides going through the trauma and shocking experience .

                                      I had a great confidence in MARUTI having Japanese expertise and background and pioneer in motor vehicles, but the incident which has happened after only 2 days of delivery of the car when for the 1st time 5th gear of the car was used .I have seen lot of stickers having been pasted on different parts of the car of having 'tested', 'inspected' and 'ok' but it appears that this has been done on paper otherwise how could a new vehicle can give such a trouble and I had to postpone of movie to late in the night and as a result I had to come in the evening that is in day light .

                                      As I have seen from this incident its quite clear that the manufacturing staff had done unpardonable act and have played mischief before giving clearance and I am really shocked and I am not sure how the confidence can be restored especially when I am out of town.Had the vehicle run for another few mins it could have caught fire and hence endangering lives of the passengers in the car .I expect a detailed soul searching from Maruti Udyog's and a remedial action be informed to me in writting or email .In case timely action is not taken to get the defect removed besides I owe an assurance from your company the vehicle will be free from such defects in future and for which you are free to inspect the vehicle through your technicians (experts) to find out why such an incident had happened at all in the first place .

                                      I will be constrained to make a complaint with media as well as consumer forum in case remedial action and guarantee is not assured within reasonable time .

                                      I will also like to know what are the company and sellers liablities in events like these.

                                      maruti/ swift deisel — car noise problem

                                      dear sir ,
                                      hello,
                                      as we discussed on phone i want to explain you that i have bought a swift diesel vdi app 6 month back from stan auto.
                                      i am facing lot of problem of service from stan auto regarding this vechile.
                                      as got done paid service of my car from stan auto i assk them to change the horn as it is not working proper they say they have no stock &the electraican repair the horn & it blow like the two wheeler instaed of car.they even not have the gear oil refilling injectior in workshop & thery refill the gear oil with 100 gms oil keep to be used for oiling & its take 1 hour extra you know well that no body have toime to waste for the others fault.
                                      from last few days i have the problem of whistling in my car as when we press the acceletor & on 06/03 i go to workshop & give test ride of my car to expert & show him the problem & fix the appointment of 07/03 morning.
                                      on 07/03 morning they start training on my car from 10.30 am & finish at 3.30 pm without the 000000000000000000000000000000000000 result after asking that they have no part in stock which they wanbt to change or test as they have doubt on terbo/vacum pipe or etc after long argument they cal;l you & give me your no.
                                      kindly tell me why they trained there staff on our cars instaed of there own? & waisting time of customers .
                                      kindly advise who will bear the loss of my dsay waste including the cosy of driver etc?
                                      kindly arrange the proper engineer to trace fault & also advise the stan auto to arrange car for me when ever next time they want to remove this fault in my car.
                                      i think stan auto has no right to do servicing of swift diesel car as they have no experince staff for it as if they do like this may be they spoil the trusted bname of the swift car & maruti in market shortly.

                                      As I was starnded on the high way also as the smoke from the car was beyond control, I had to rush for the nearest repair
                                      center who details I here . Calling for a Maruti service center was beyond logic as it would have taken enough time to cause
                                      serious damage to the car .

                                      This is shear piece of negligence on your part and is beyond my limits of tolerance .
                                      If you think that I am only a customer, then I am sorry to say that the reason why other companies in India like Hyundai are eating up your market is all because of there professionalism where I don't have to beg them for a explanation.

                                      Courts in India are very strict when it comes to inherent/manufacturing defects of new cars. The Consumer Courts are directing the Car manufacturers to refund the entire purchase amount to consumers. Always remember, when a defective car is bought or when the Car manufacturer is providing poor service to the consumer, you can file a complaint to the consumer court of the area where the Company is situated.

                                      I had a great confidence in MARUTI having Japanese expertise and background and pioneer in motor vehicles, but the incident which has happened after only 2 days of delivery of the car when for the 1st time 5th gear of the car was used .I have seen lot of stickers having been pasted on different parts of the car of having 'tested', 'inspected' and 'ok' but it appears that this has been done on paper otherwise how could a new vehicle can give such a trouble

                                      I lived in jaipur and purchased car from sangha automobile(pratap nagar sector 5) swift desire(ldi) after one month we were driving car and sudenly a fuse was automatically destroyed then i call to sangha they said that we are sending a machanic and he comes and make it correct.Then after some days our swift desire (ldi)was running while i noticed that while in speed braker there is a noise in car in dashboard and right side gate i want to ask why this problem is being there in car as it is new not an old one i am not been satisfy with swift desire (ldi)kindly tell whwt to do i am very sad to say that i think swift desire is exellent all my hopes are broken !!!

                                      I wish to apprise you that I have a swift VDI which is only a month old and done less than 2000kms, my car is also having similar problem that there is a funny noise emanating from the general area of the dashboard, front right hand side something like a click where there isclashing of either some loose part or metal this happens when the car approaches a speed breaker or pothole I took the car to Kankariya Motors Ahmednagar and was told that this is a common problem in all swift dzires and you would have to leave the car for 9-10 days, they will strip the car and repair some joint in the dashboard and windscreen area which has come off due to unknown reasons, funny for a car which is not even a month old and has been driven with utmost care, my trust of the brand maruti has taken a beating, can any one advise what is this noise and what is the best way to get it repaired without having to strip my brand new car

                                      Problem in new Maruti SWIFT Desire(VXI)

                                      This is to bring to your notice that Maruti SWIFT Desire(VXI) was purchased on March 03, 2010 for which delivery was obtained from Sparsh Automobiles,
                                      Raipur(C.G.)

                                      From day one their is some problem in clutch as I face difficulty in changing first gear and reverse gear. When I have inform to the showroom people about this
                                      problem, they said that it is minor problem and will be adjusted in first servicing. Within 20 days and 600 kms of running, clutch plate damaged. Showroom people
                                      are saying that it is because of driving mistake so cannot be covered under guarantee. I have been driving cars since 1980 and never faced such problem, so
                                      their must be manufacturing error in the clutch and so it must cover under guarantee. I am not satisfied with the PDI done by Sparsh Automobiles as central locking
                                      siren and security siren was not working since starting and while asking about the same I had been told by sales person that central locking siren doesn't comes as
                                      company fitted(attached) in said car. Further I found that "siren was attached by company itself but not working". If that is the case how they can say that PDI was
                                      done properly.

                                      Maruti Car — Harassment by dealer

                                      Dear MSL, sales division,

                                      I had purchased a Maruti Alto during the month of Oct-10 for my son from T R Swahney, Sahibabad. despite all the complaints RC of the vehicle had not been provided. payment for which was made in advance.

                                      there is no reponse from the dealer. No paper had been given to us. Car met with an accident and is not being released from the authorised service dealer for want of RC.

                                      will anyone please listen and take this call.

                                      suzuki company is best company in the world. maruti is on of the fraud company inthe world. maruti suzuki swift is a good car.but maruti swift is a local car maruti suzuki swift has suzuki engine. maruti swift has local engine. there are two types of swift car. first is maruti suzuki swift that is original car . this swift car has suzukiengine. there is inprint suzuki name on the engine. buy second is maruti swift, that is local car. this car has no suzuki engine. that is local or fake engine.there is no inprint suzuki name on the engine. if you have any dought please check your car engine.if your car engine suzuki, that is original. you ask your dealer they also tell above said. maruti suzuki swift engine is import from japan. maruti swift engine is make from scrap material. maruti collect the scrap material from other car company like tata, fiat and they are making local engine. so dear friends don, t buy maruti swift. please buy maruti suzuki swift. please chech car engine is it suzuki engine or local or fake engine.

                                        rusting in the car body WITHIN 6 MONTHS

                                        i HAD BOUGHT A MARUTI SWIFT CAR NO- WB02W 8449 ON 24 TH NOVEMBER 2006. THE REGISTRATION NO . OF THE CAR IS WBO2 W8449 . I SAW THE RUSTING OF THE BODY OF THE CAR WITHIN 6 MONTHS OF THE DATE OF PURCHASE. AND MADE MY FIRST COMPLAIN OF THE RUSTING ON 25/5/2007 AT MOHAN MOTORS THEIR DEALERS. BUT HOWEVER NO ACTION WAS TAKEN. TILL DATE I HAVE MADE MANY COMPLAINTS BUT NO ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN BY THE COMPANY. AND THEY SAY THAT THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE...
