Sub : Harrassment & Unsatisfactory Services of M/S Harison Automobiles at Panipat, Haryana
Dear Sir,
It is a matter of great concern that recently I have approached the authorized dealers of Maruti M/S Harison Automoblies, Panipat for purchasing a new Wagon ( R ) VXI.

On dated, vide bill no. VSL08001209 dated 28.01.09, I purchased this car, but during dealings, I have experienced the following hardships & grievances with the dealer which I definitely want to share with you so that you can take appropriate action in the matter.

Needless to mention here that before purchasing this car from M/S Harison Automobiles, I was repeatedly told my colleagues /friends ( M/S National Fertilizers Ltd.) that the services of this dealer is not upto the mark & suggested me to get my car purchased from Karnal (From my native place) which is only 30 Kms from Panipat.)

But being a PSU’s employee of NFL ( Group A Company of Central Govt.) at Panipat, I opted to purchase it from this dealer but now I feel that I have committed a mistake & also feel cheated .

The following are the facts of the case :-

1. For getting delivery of the vehicle, I was to wait for abnormal time of 6 hours when all the papers like, DD no. 1100803 dated 28.01.09 & a cheque was deposited with them on dated 24.01.09.

2. At the time of delivery, an additional Rs. 500.00 was asked on the plea that I am not covered under Corporate discount of Rs. 3000.00 & only Rs. 2500.00 can be allowed.

3. Through an advertisement in local a paper, it was made clear that PSU employees will get a discount of Rs. 3000.00 whereas during transaction this was not passed on to me so far in spite of repeated requests.

4 A lengthy discussions was deliberated & at a later stage Mrs Manvi given me in writing that in lieu of this they will provide a discount of Rs. 500.00 on any accessions.

5 On dated 02.03.09, when I contacted Miss Manvi on phone, against the balance discount of Rs. 500.00, it was replied that I can get either on Body Polish, Tyre Polish & Dash board Polish & this can be collected by me on 03.03.09 at any time.

6 But, today when I approached, it was replied by Miss Manvi that Mr. Bali ( Sales representative) has given the instructions that Rs. 500.00 can be availed in shape of purchasing a new Music system only which naturally a harassment of a customer & a another way of cheating .

7 From this whole episode, I have observed that the main person who has generated such type of grievances is Mr. Parul Bali ( Sales representative) who during dealing/transaction also not provided a normal salesman ship & given misleading information & backed out every time to the offered commitments & since these were not provided in writing therefore I don’t want to elaborate it here.

I am not bothered for an amount of Rs. 500.00 but you will appreciate that not disclosing such misleading facts & improper dealings to the appropriate form will definitely encourage the act of bad elements.

In view the above circumstances, I am confident that you will take an early appropriate action in the matter under intimation to me

Dear Sir,
It is a matter of great concern that recently I have approached the authorized dealers of Maruti M/S Harison Automoblies, Panipat for purchasing a new Wagon ( R ) VXI.

On dated, vide bill no. VSL08001209 dated 28.01.09, I purchased this car, but during dealings, I have experienced the following hardships & grievances with the dealer which I definitely want to share with you so that you can take appropriate action in the matter.

dear sir,
i have purchased maruti van so maney complaied not a single person are soul my problem so i request never purchased maruti any car maruti compney talking in pper customer satisfection.my self purched maruti van at kataria ahmedabad my cell number[protected].

I had purchased a Zen Estilo which got accidented within 1 year on 2 aug 2009. Still on date the vehicle is lying at the roof of Sparsh Automobile raipur saying that they have not recieved the workorder from IFFKO TOKYO to repair the vehicle whereas at the time of selling they said that if we take maruti insurance we should not bother for an serveyor and claims and our vehicle would be repaired cashless. The vehicle was purchased from Ganpati Motors bhilai and after such long period when contacted the GM of Ganpati notors Mr. Moses, he spoke in such ruthless and un cooperative manner that I have decided to promote not to get there vehicle from these kind of dealers. The attitude is totally wrong.

    I received a call from Maruti Suzuki head office regarding winning of coupan of 12000 rs in Zen Estilo Slogan contest on Sunday 22nd Feb 09. There representative said that this coupan will be mailed on my postal address. I have yet not received the coupon, I had already contacted to anytime maruti service ([protected]) but they dont have the information. I called up the my dealer as well as Maruti any time service both of them told me to contact regional office.


    Regional Office contacts in Pune, unfortunately this is of no use.

    I have called thrice on numbers ([protected]/38/39 ) and have not received any update.

    1. The relevant person was on leave.

    2. The person was present but was not having an update on this; he confirmed that he will get back with an update on the same day---NO UPDATE.

    3. The concerned person is in meeting and will give a call back --- NO UPDATE

    4. The concerned person (Bharat Mone) not availaible with whom I had spoken earlier with a commitment to call back. - NO UPDATE.
    Also wasted my time calling any time Maruti service

    Almost 3 weeks have passed after the first call...

    I just wan to inform if you dont have to give them why do you call and update customer abt the win.

    Please improve on your customer service which is the most worst ...

    BAD SERVICE BY MARUTI AND ITS AUTHORISED DEALER — WARRANTY NOT HONOURED

    I HAVE PURCHASED A MARUTI ALTO FROM ITS AUTHORISED DEALER MITHRA AGENCIES, HYDERABAD AND ALSO AVAILED EXTENDED WARRANTY BY PAYING THE SPECIFIED AMOUNT.
    I GOT MY VEHICLE SERVICED AT THEIR WORKSHOP AND THEY HAVE RAISED INVOICE NO.BR08000044 DATED 7.9.2008 UNDER WHICH I WAS ASKED TO PAY RS.1378 WHICH WILL BE REFUNDED ONCE THEY GET CONFIRMATION FROM MARUTI. IT IS MORE THAN 3 MONTHS THEY NOT REFUNDED THE AMOUNT NOR REPLIED TO MY EMAIL.
    i bought one swift on 30/01/09,
    No dealer call received for follow up about the cars performance
    No Maruti follow up about my experience on purchase
    No Service follow up for any kind of service support now if you call this a Customer satisfaction winning 9 times in arow manufacturing company i call it a shame to purchase 2nd time.

    We purchase SX 4 Vehicle from your authorized dealer M/s. Kataria Automoibles Ltd., Surat. On 07/11/2007 vide D.O. No. 01789. From the beginning there was a 3rd Gear noise & vibration problem. It has been informed to your dealer on telephone as well as personally. As per there instruction we run the same vehicle up to 1000 Kilometers and given for service on 07/12/2007 vide Job Card no. JC[protected]. The dealer has service the vehicle subject to
    1. Gear RH LATCH ESSY. Replace direct vendor warranty
    2. 3rd Gear noise work pending for Gear shifter cable Assy. NA.

    This has been mention in the Invoice No. BC 07006975 dated 09/12/07. After servicing also noise and vibration problem was not clear though we have paid bill amount of Rs.820/- on 09/12/2007

    Again on 14/12/07 we have given the car for service Job Card No. JC 07007133 on 14/12/07 & the car was delivered on 19/12/07 vide cash memo no. BC 07007296.

    On running the car on the road problem was not appeared to be solved and we have instructed Kataria Automobiles on telephone but they have not taken care of our complained. On 14/12/2007 we have already sent Email to Maruti Udyog Ltd. Delhi, and mention our complaint regarding noise & vibration problem in 3rd Gear. But we have not any reply from Maruti Udyog Ltd. or authorized dealer. We have repeatedly sent Email to Maruti Udyog ltd. on 16/12/07, 18/12/2007 & 21/01/2008, but mo response from both that is company and dealer. Due to this continues problem and expecting anticipatory removal of our complain we wait for passing our car with RTO Surat at last on 05/03/2008 our car was registered with RTO Surat. All this phenomenal is aware of by your dealer but has not taken any step for removal of deficiency in 3rd Gear problem. On dt.[protected] we have given a car to your dealer & have given a cash memo No. 89 in which memo also Gear Lever . Replaced in under warranty mention in remark column.

    Again we have given the vehicle for repairing with our problem mentioning 3rd Gear Vibration on Gear Lever. The vehicle was delivered to us on 12/04/2008 and it was mention in pick memo.

    1. Engine mounting replace
    2. Front both drive shaft replace
    3. Gear Lever Assy Complete Touch Though we have taken delivery from Kataria on 12/04/2008 . the same problem again come out while running on the road and was informed to your dealer on telephone Due to this problem we are feed up and tried and at last we wrote a letter by Registred AD Letter on 24/04/2008 asking them to furnished us a certificate that this problem is due to manufacturing defect which is not repairable. But Kataria Automobiles Ltd. has not replied to us and shown as inability and negligence in providing customer service. Simultaneously we have also given a legal notice to our lawyer on 26/04/2008. And in respose to this notice there lawyer had replied in uncleared manner. Hence at last we filed a case consumer forum court at Surat on dt. 18/06/2008


    After filing suit also we observed that your company is failed furnished reply to our complaint in time and after a period of 6 to 8 months left. The company blames us by showing the warranty card . We also regret that your dealer has till date not submitted any reply in consumer Court. Meanwhile we have taken following services from your authorized dealer

    Inspite of giving car for services to different authorized dealer but no fruitfull result received and none of your dealer is ready to give us technical defect certificate till date.

    Our main problem is 3rd Gear Vibration and noise which is not solver by authorized dealer and inspite of our Email to the company, the compny has not taken keen interest for solving the problem, hence our demand is to pay the cost of vehicle with occurred expense and with interest till date from the date of purchased. The company should also pay compensation for mental harassment and also pay a business loss.

    We astonished that such a internationally reputed company like Maruti Udyog under collaboration of Suzuki of Japan is not taking smallest care of the customer who purchased a car on reputation of Maruti.

    The delivery date is mentioned on 19.05.2009 in my receipt by your dealer. My husband is working abroad as a chief engineer and was supposed to gift me a car before joining ship on 20.05.2009. He failed to gift me the car in time as your dealer failed to honour his written commitment to deliver the car on 19.05.2009. Due to the above reasons I have to hire a car from 20.05.2009 till your dealer will deliver the car. Now as of today I do not have my car and also my husband's job is at stake as the company is not allowing my husband to join ship before six months due to his failure in joining the ship on two occasions for the same reason, As your dealer further commited to deliver the car on 21.05.2009, hence my husband failed to join the ship on extended time given by the company. He has received letter from the company that his position on board has been replaced by another chief engineer and he will join his next ship not before six month.

    I sincerely request you to compensate me my livelihood in totality, as my husband will be loosing $49, 200.00 US Dollars as salary and also the car hiring charges, due to your failure in written commitment to deliver the car in time. If you fail to compensate me in totality, than i will be forced to take appropriate legal action as per law of the land laid down by Republic of India.

    Complaint1: Non-delivery of Swift Dezire in spite of advance full money
    Complaint2: No response till now in spite of the submission of Complaint on April 20, 2009 in Complaint Board.


    Applicant booked Swift Dezire on 5th April 2009 at your Radha Govind Dealership, Muzaffarnagar, U.P. The concerned person at that Dealership are Mr. Malik and Mr. Vinay Tyagi. Mr. Malik booked the Car after receiving Rs. 10000 as an advance. On the issued bill and Quotation the applicant persued loan from SBI, MZN which was further sanctioned. Mr. Malik ensured that the Car would be delivered with in next fifteen days. After the expiry of fifteen days applicant inquired for the status of car for which Mr. Malik replied that the same has not been arranged till date. Applicant then requested him to arrange the same before 23rd April to able him to present as a gift to his son. Mr. Malik said that due to the personal dispute Showroom is not running properly so he would not be able to say the exact date of delivery. Applicant also complaint Mr. Vinay Tyagi (Dealer) for which he replied that Car may be delivered by 3rd of may. We then again contacted to Mr. Malik, for which he replied that he is no more with Maruti Dealership and has joined Honda Dealership.

    Applicant then contacted Mr. Vinay Tyagi through phone and sent him a message. Mr. Tyagi asked to contact the GM-Sales, Maruti with contact No. [protected]. We sent a message to the GM of sales on the same number on 1st May 2009 but we didn’t receive any response from his side.

    After no repose of the complaint, applicant then contacted Regional office New Delhi[protected]. There Applicant spoke with Ms. Prem Lata who after listening the complaint suggested to speak with Mr. Amit, Maruti, Deharadun with Contact No.[protected]. We called him and were trying to convey him our Complaint
    after sending previous complaint G M Mr Kaushik contect applicant on 13th may and ensure delevery up to 18th may and also say deposit full amount of car . On beliving G M applicant deposite full money by S B I banker checque no 412462 dated[protected] after taking loan from S B I but till date no response applicant send many sms and telephone all are ZERO
    we send two complaint to you but no action GOD knows Phereps I am on fault that I booked SWIFT CAR and faith with G M and deposite entire amount
    after booking SWIFT I am so tense I can not explain this is due to the the negligence of DEALEAR staff MARUTI WHO DO NOT TAKE PROPER CARE my complaint

    LAST SATURDAY I WENT TO SEE NEW CAR RITZ AT HIRA AUTOS RAJSBAHA ROAD.BUT IT WAS A VERY BAD EXPERIANCE THAT NO ONE ATTENDED US I MYSELF OPENED THE CAR BOUNET.BACK .etc.NO ONE WAS THEIR TO TELL THE COFIGARATION OF THE CAR.WE WERE THEIR ABOUT 15 MINS BUT NO ONE ASKED US WHY YOU ARE HERE.ALL THE STAFF WERE MOVING HERE AND THEIR AS IF THEY HAVE NO INTEREST IN THEIR WORK AS IF IT IS THE ONLY ONE AGENCY IN PATIALA.WHEN WE WERE COMING OUTSIDE I ASKED A BROCHER OF THE CAR THEN A PERSON CAME AND HE WROTE MY ADDRESS AND MY NO.MY FATHER AND MY REALETIVE FELT VERY BAD.SO. WE WENT TO THE MAHINDRA SANDEEP MOTERS THEY ATTENDED US VERY WELL AND WE PURCHASED LOGAN FROM THEIR.SO.KINDLY SEE THROUGH THIS THING AS TODAY WE CAME WITHOUT ATTENDED HOW MANY MORE CUSTOMERS YOU WILL LOOSE

    Sub: Problem in the Gear Box.

    Dear Sir,
    This is to bring to your kind notice that I purchased Maruti Swift Car with registration number DL 9C S0667 from Maruti Authorized dealer Magic Auto, Dwarka, New Delhi vide their Invoice number dated 19.09.2007. The first problem in the gear box occurred in February 2009, while we were coming from Aligarh. The car brought to Delhi was sent to magic auto for repair. They assured us that this problem will not reoccur, but as we were out with our family on 25th May, 2009, there was a breakdown again in Greater Noida and we had to drive the car in the single 3rd Gear till Lajpat Nagar. The complaint was made to the service helpline. The mechanic repaired it temporarily for sending it to the workshop. The workshop people told us that they do not take the guarantee for the reoccurring of the above problems. We had to go out on vacation to Mussoorie but we did not take this car fearing that there could be a breakdown on the way. I have been told by some mechanic that this is a manufacturing defect and is irreparable unless a major replacement of parts is made. It’s always a risk to take the car on a long drive.
    I therefore, lodge a complaint for the replacement of the vehicle or the complete replacement of the parts. For your ready reference I am hereby attaching the Bill for the repair of the above said problem from the authorized “Magic Auto workshop”.

    Sub: - Regarding Low Mileage and Low pick up problem of my Wagon R Lxi Duo.

    Dear Sir,
    I have taken Wagon R Lxi Duo on August, 2007, because I love a lot. From the 2nd day onwards I am facing Low Mileage of 7-7.5km per liter of L.P.G with AC. But they mentioned 12-12.5km per liter.
    For rectification of the above problem I visited so many showrooms.

    But still it’s not rectified. The showrooms visited are below.

    1. Mithra Service Center- Moosapet [so many times]

    2. Mithra Service Center -Vijayawada [so many times]

    3. Mithra Service Center - R.T.C. ‘X’ Roads [so many times]

    Out of 2 years from purchasing near about 8 months my vehicle is completely in the showroom only.

    We already gave the notice to Maruthi Head Office and Mithra Agencies, Mehidipatnam.

    When I am purchasing of vehicle you’re mentioned that 12km per liter in city limits. But here I am asking 10km per liter (minimum).

    I want to know whether the problem will be ‘rectified’ or ‘not’.

    If it is rectified we feel good. If ‘not’ what will be the further assistance from your side. Finally what can I do for above problem?

    I feel shy to visit your’s showroom repeatedly. I want a permanent solution for this. But I waxed completely.

    Note:-
    1) We are gave complaint to 24 Hr Customer Care center. But they also didn’t responded.

    2) We are also met with Mr. Narendra Kumar so many times. But he also not responded positively.

    Maruti Udyog Limited — Worst after sale service i ever got.

    I Ankur Gupta purchased Swift Dzire (VXI) in January 2009. Till June it was going OK but after that a noise started to come from the front of car. Last or third service of my car done by KAP Automobile Ghaziabad. They diagnose this noise as a steering noise and worked accordingly. But after this situation become really annoying for me because steering became so hard and it’s difficult to take city drive.



    Actions taken by me in regard are as follows.

    a) I have given three personal visit to get rid of this problem but unfortunately didn’t. Initially they were saying that steering assembly will get replaced but now they are denying.

    b) Mr. Bhupesh (TSM) of Maruti udyog ltd. Here for Ghaziabad met me and given me commitment to replace it but now he is also denying. And above all he has promised me that my car will get checked by R&D team of Maruti but after that he didn’t taken any follow-up. He promised me that my car will get checked at Rohan Noida but it didn’t.

    c) I have lodged this complaint on customer care, they have given me complaint id ([protected]) and after that same story happened, there is no follow-up.



    Now, this is really irritating for me because after spending 5.5 lakhs on a car I am getting this type of treatment from MARUTI UDYOG LIMITED. I heard about maruti that they are best in after sales services but now I am in a really bad bad impression of maruti. No body showing his interest to solve my problem.



    Mr Bhupesh who representing maruti has left very bad impression of maruti udyog.

    I have a Swift VDI purchased in Feb 2008 from Popular Automobiles, Cochin, and I am utilising the services of Indus Motors, Kakkanad, Cochin for repairs/servicing, as it is closer to my work-place.

    While I am happy with the car, and I am reasonably pleased with the services rendered by Indus Motors, Kakkanad, I must record my disappointment that Indus does not seem to hold adequate spares in stock.

    The car key was not going in fully into the ignition, and even though the steering lock was released, the key would not turn. I have been told that I need to replace the "key cylinder", and that I will have to wait 10 DAYS, as Indus does not hold stocks, and they have to wait till a spare is sent from Gurgaon.

    Isn't it mandatory for your dealers to be holding adequate stocks of all spares? How is it that NONE of your service centres in Cochin (Popular Automobiles, Indus Motors, & Sai Service) hold spares of this item in stock? Even if the item in question is something that is rarely (if ever) required, shouldn't at least one piece be available with at least one of your dealers?

    And aren't there Regional Offices in South India where Maruti dealers can rush to for urgent stocks of critical spares? Why is South India treated like a poor country cousin by Maruti?

    I will be stuck without a car for 10 days, and my office is 33 kms away from my house. Even if the cost of repairs may be covered by the extended warranty that I have taken, can you imagine how much money I will be spending on Taxi - fares every day?

    All because Maruti does not insist that their dealers hold adequate stocks of spares.

    My Maruti Alto UP 32 CQ 3975, was sent for repair & Maintainence on O8. 11.09 to Alliance Automobiles Udyan Marg ;Lucknow . Every day I havebeen enquiring about it on telephone with a reply of it will be done today.However the day has not come till now. Which has caused great discomfort, agony, distrust about your sector Please take necessary action.
    Few days back, I got my car washed through Vipul Motors, Noida. The after-result of the service was - I need to get my car reserviced from another dealer on an urgent basis. The floor of the car (inside the car and inside the boot tank) was having enough water for me to take a bath - and this was when I found this after 2 days. Had I seen that after some more days, my boot would need a complete replacement as already rust started growing. Really speaking, Vipul Motors dont seems to be aware of customer satisfaction and they dont know how to take care of your car.     I had been a proud owner of Maruti Swift for 15 days which was bought in the year 2007, April. It was just after 15 days that the car had developed problems and the “Authorised Distributor ” here in case “Jalan Distributor” started showing true colours... Selling of the car is over now it is owner’s baby and they are doing a favour by servicing the car. The car had several problems which I personally had to solve with the help of local technicians. Innumerable phone calls to the Toll free numbers ..but all in vain...
    Latest scenario: I often have to push the car in the middle of the road as my car has a starting problem... The Jalan Distributor service station has stated “ this is a common problem and you need to change your battery .“ I am shocked ... although they could not detect any problems with the battery but also could not rectify the “start” problem.
    I have also received several calls from some online numbers of Maruti and they have very sweetly said that “ We will definitely ask the technical team to get back” . But till date I have not received any such call. So I guess I am having no other options other than pushing the Swift Car slowly in busy roads and a live advertisement of Customer Satisfaction and Excellence as claimed by the company.

    I want some information that, iam a physically handicapped want to buy a car which can be driven by me. i came to know that maruti 800 with AT was specially manufectured for the PH. now i want to know that maruti 800 AT can be modified now on order or not because my budget is 2-3 lakhs so ple. do needful.
    I have Wagon R LXI ( MH 14 AV 2670) purchased in the month of Nov 2007, On 15/12/2009 i had given my car for servicing at Sai Service station pughewadi Pune & got my car serviced with servicing charges of 6000 Rs/ with replacement of oil of gear box, engine oil etc & also the AC filter. Vehicle was delivered on 15/12/2009 But again on 15/01/2010 i observed that AC is not working at all & again i called back the service station, they confirmed that no gas ia available in the system & it has to be refilled and the charges that were levied was 2500Rs, . My Concern is why the problem was not highlited during my initial servicing dated 15/12/2009? Secondly AC of my car was funtioning normally before the servicing Why this problem abruptly, I find that the AC filter has been replaced & leakage might have occured during fitment of Filter . i am feeling decieved by Sai service station & even I have taken extended warranty of 2 years. Request your help & the bill shows AC servicing charges as 2300 Rs & rest is seal replacement.
    I have given my WagonR car for II free servicing to Arya cars, nagpur, Maharashtra .one of the dealer of Maruti cars .Before going for servicing I have taken an appointment . I entered at their premaices at10 o clock in morning and personaly told them that I have to go out of nagpur after servicing so can it be possible for u to deilverd my vehicle little early, They said ok but it take 3 to for hours. I am siting over their for my vehicle and I got my vehicle after 6 hours (that is at 4.30 in the evening ) This is a pure harasment from ARYA Car (My mistake is that I request them to give delivery little EARLY - "in their dictionary its means LATE"
    Apart from that the problem for which I have given my vehicle is still not repaired at the time of vehicle delivery.(6 hours of servicing )

    In net I have searched for maruti customer care mail id . but their is nothing, the no. which was mention no one is picking it .

    Service network of maruti is very bad, I am using maruti from last 10 years, but now I suggest people and my friend go for some other company whose after sales service is good (like Hundai, Tata) After all we are spending our own money.

    I got my Maruti Wagon R UP 14 AL 5358 servised on 05/02/2010 from [B]ST Track Auto Care Limited, A- 31, Sector 63, Noida[/B]. It was a Paid Service. According to theirchecks and limitations they did the servicing. I am surprised to say that myvehicle has not even run for 25, 000 Km and clutch bearing, clutch release, clutch cover and bearing cable have been changed/ replaced.

    I am afraid these charges should not be levied from me because my vehicle has not even moved for 50, 000 Km from the date of purchase. I feel if the clutch and accessories havr reached up to the condition of replacement, then it is a quality problem on company's part and I should be returned with the charges which have been levied from me vide Cash Memo No. BC 09006245 and Job Card No.JC 09006557 dated 05/02/2010.



    Please look into the matter before it takes the shape of litigation in Consumer Court.

During warranty period my vehicle was sent to M/s Pratham to attend the problems but till date the same was not sorted out and i have knocking problem when cylinder capacity comes from 3/4 to 1/2 (which i notice through indicator in the dash board). Now M/s Pratham wants Rs. 2000/- for replacement of Kit. You are requested to look into the problem and rectify the same free of cost as the problem is from the manufacturer end.

    I had purchased Maruti Alto in July 2008 from Pagaria Auto Aurangabad (M.S.) at the time of delivery, I was given free insurance. I also purchased Sony VCD Player from Dealer which was fitted at dealer before deliver. I was told that every thing is covered in the insurance. Unfortunately in Dec 2008, my car tape was stolen from car (police complaint lodged). In this connection, I tried to contact dealer but dealer responded in negative attitude. I also made correspondence with Maruti Udyog Gurgaon but till date I have not got any satisfactory answer. In this theft, I lost around 10000 car tape.

    i have maruti swift vxi. i purchased it on april 2008 from M/s magic auto dwarka new delhi. i regularly serviced my car from maruti service centre regularly. at 31/10/2008 my car was unfourntly accident and for repairing i have repaired it fro M/s vipul motors pvt ltd., malviya nagar indestrial area, jaipur. they replaced radiator due to demage in it. after it when i was driving my vehicle i found that its temp. gets very high regulrly withins 25-30 km running. when i discused this matter with vipul motors they told me that on the time of setting radiator fan they attached its wire wrongly by this fan will be working on opposite side by this reason my car is heating . after some time i noticed that radiator of my car is not properly working & engine vibration & noise of engine is very high. after many time of calling to vipul motors they changed raditor again on 30/11/2009. but after this my car is not working smoothly, i called vipul motor again on 19/01/2010 . they repaired car gaskit, o ring, radiator assy, throttle body cleaning. every time they changed coolent for radiator & they want to charge me for coolent and other repairing. if there is any problem due to there parts or their mechinical team wrong wroking, why i should pay, them on request by me there gm waived off these charges. but now sill there is problem and on complaint to vipul motors they change some parts of radiator on 05/02/2010. but problem not solved yet. now i complaint again on 08/04/2010 to vipul motor and they chang collent & cap of radiator again and want to charge it by me, kindly explain why i should pay tese charges when problem of there mechinical team or their parts. on the time of payment Mr. ravi mathur who was incharge of vipul motor for 09/04/2010, he harradem me very much for these charges. now mr. My point is, Is there someone who looks into such harassment to customers? What the message does MUL wants to give to the general people with regard to customer care in such a competitive market.

    On 31/03/10 I was delivered Wagon R VXI after payment in full from Berkeley's Automoblies, Industrial Area Phase II, Chandigarh. Although I applied for additional discount under my wife's teaching certificate, the dealer took the discount money claiming that if it is reimbursed it will be informed to me and money credited into my A/c.
    It's been over three months and I have not received the money nor my wife's certificate copy. Should I wait for some time or go to the consumer court for the necessary legal action againt the Dealer?

    I have purchased a brand new swift DzireLX1 on dated 05/02/10(delivery date) from hindustan agency, bokaro (dealers code-B501).it has a rear suspension problem from the beginning.Rear suspension does not support the specified load.clearance between the body and the road becomes minimum when we apply load (say 55kg approx and three person on the rear seat) less than the specified load capacity.
    it has also a scratch mark on the front windscreen at the time of delivery. i complained so many times((dated 08/03/10&02/06/10) to our dealer Hindustan Agency(B501) but they didn't take any necessary action and told me that other customer's have also same problem. so, go and complained to marutisuzuki.
    i have invested my money on marutisuzuki for my satisfaction but i seems that i was wrong and caused great discomfort because no one is giving response to me.PLEASE TAKE SOME NECESSARY ACTION AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.(send me your contacts also).

    When I asked one of the showroon SM for Swift Vehicle sir I want One Swift VDI for the next month first week He said that there are no vehicle But one of my frined got the Vehile who came at next minute of my visit to the show room in two days I asked him how he said for the premium amont of 25k After a week i got a call He is Team leader he asked me that sir U R looking for some swift vehicle is that sure i said yes then he said that sir we have one car swift vdi s.silver But u r intrested in sunlight copper i can arrange u from other show room it will be premium about 30k R U intrested
    I really shocked When one of my friends cousin was cheated he booked a vehicle in one show room with 50, 000 rupees in that 25k is about premium and 25k is for booking that T/L is given him a Dummy receipt of 25k from his show room and promised him that he arrange him a vehicle in 4 days but he didnt when my friend asked him rudely that r u giving the me the vehicle r not he said sir I m sorry the matter is actually I had given Ur booking to one of my friend who working in other show room But he is not in contact with me from yesterday he promised me that he is giving the vehicle today But he frod me please forgive me sir wait for two more days so that i make sure How ever i will give U the vehicle.     my vehicle was got accident, agency says its a matter of total loss.they are charging the amount of 2 % on there estimate value.i think its not a fare dealing.my vehicle is covering cashless insurance with a company royal sundaram so i only knows the depriaciation amount in plastic part i will pay with a compulsary clause but i m not wanna to pay 2% in estimate cose..i already suffer a lossin my car which was not more then a 6 months. so tell me is it any provison in mul to pay 2%in the estimate cost.reply me soon.

    I was also surprise that maruti is provinding that kind of worst services, am also fasing lot many problems form service peace.
    I had booked for one new Maruti Ertiga LXI viz Popular vehicles, cochin - delaer code 2701 on 17.04.2013. I took delivery on 02.05.2013. But when I recd RC book from RTO on 17th May 2013, I'm surprised to note that Month of manufacture is shown as May 2012. i.e. I had been delivered oneyear old vehicle against purchase of new vehicle. When I contacted the dealer they said customer have no choice but to accept the available vehicle with them. Is this the Consumer Right norms available for customers who purchase on good faith from recognised dealership?

      I am working as a Deputy Engineer in Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority since last more than 23 years. I had purchased wagaonR LX1 Petrol in the year 2008 february from star motor in New mumbai, the first two services were arranged by the star motors only. for third free servicing i gave my car to Topgear Automobiles in the month of January 2009(authorsed service station of Maruti Udyog Ltd) as the owner stays in our locality. but when the servicing was done they gave me bill Rs. 5646/- in which they added all the things which comes in free servicing (copy of the bill dated 1-1-2009 attached h/w) and when once i was driving my car then i observed that brakes are working then i immediately informed to the top gear automobiles, then they informed that they will have to check the brake and for that they gave me another bill of Rs.778/- (bill copy attached). and once my car was hit by an autorikshaw then they gave me bill of Rs.8652/- without going for insurance and again when his mechanic was parking the car he could not park the car properly in my building compound, then i tried to park it, then it was hit to the main gate of the building. then his mechanic informed me that i am responsible for the incident and he took away the car told that insurance claim will be made. but without informing me he repaired the car and brought the same and gave me the bill of rs.5084/- (bill copy attached) and want me to pay this bill otherwise his mechanic is threatening me with dire consequences. i told the owner's brother each time you people are not insisting for insurance and repairing and insisting for payment and i am being a salaried person cannot offer to pay rs. 20, 000/- in one month. what is the benefit of making insurance. please take action so that they do not cheat the people (who do not have knowledge about the insurance and repairs) again and again.

      Maruti car innurance — Cheating

      We had bought Maruti Wagonar in July - 2007. The car was covered under Maruti royal inssurance. At the renewal time i.e after one year, the representative of maruti came to us for renewal of the inssurance.
      The person was too rude to speak. When the authorities were informed they favour their repersentative.

      Kiran motors had renew the inssurance without giving any benefits which they are providing to their relatives. They had pass over our benefits to their own relatives.

      I met with an accident on 21st immediately I informed the accident breakdown service at Sitaram Motors. There was no injury to anybody However some damages in leftside doorwindow and bumber and window in left side of the vehicle. They took the vehicle to their workshop. Today is the 10th day. They never informed me the spare parts to be replaced or repaired either oral or in writing. Even when the vehicle is inspited by the personnel of Sitaram they never estimated the work cost. However, today they in formed me about replacement of parts which was not damaged. The process of settling the Insurance claim and repairs are not transparant.

      I take this opportunity to inform you that I am Maruthi customer since last 15 years in Mumbai and 4 Years in Kerala.

      We purchase SX 4 Vehicle from your authorized dealer M/s. Kataria Automoibles Ltd., Surat. On 07/11/2007 vide D.O. No. 01789. From the beginning there was a 3rd Gear noise & vibration problem. It has been informed to your dealer on telephone as well as personally. As per there instruction we run the same vehicle up to 1000 Kilometers and given for service on 07/12/2007 vide Job Card no. JC[protected]. The dealer has service the vehicle subject to
      1. Gear RH LATCH ESSY. Replace direct vendor warranty
      2. 3rd Gear noise work pending for Gear shifter cable Assy. NA.

      This has been mention in the Invoice No. BC 07006975 dated 09/12/07. After servicing also noise and vibration problem was not clear though we have paid bill amount of Rs.820/- on 09/12/2007

      Again on 14/12/07 we have given the car for service Job Card No. JC 07007133 on 14/12/07 & the car was delivered on 19/12/07 vide cash memo no. BC 07007296.

      On running the car on the road problem was not appeared to be solved and we have instructed Kataria Automobiles on telephone but they have not taken care of our complained. On 14/12/2007 we have already sent Email to Maruti Udyog Ltd. Delhi, and mention our complaint regarding noise & vibration problem in 3rd Gear. But we have not any reply from Maruti Udyog Ltd. or authorized dealer. We have repeatedly sent Email to Maruti Udyog ltd. on 16/12/07, 18/12/2007 & 21/01/2008, but mo response from both that is company and dealer. Due to this continues problem and expecting anticipatory removal of our complain we wait for passing our car with RTO Surat at last on 05/03/2008 our car was registered with RTO Surat. All this phenomenal is aware of by your dealer but has not taken any step for removal of deficiency in 3rd Gear problem. On dt.[protected] we have given a car to your dealer & have given a cash memo No. 89 in which memo also Gear Lever . Replaced in under warranty mention in remark column.

      Again we have given the vehicle for repairing with our problem mentioning 3rd Gear Vibration on Gear Lever. The vehicle was delivered to us on 12/04/2008 and it was mention in pick memo.

      1. Engine mounting replace
      2. Front both drive shaft replace
      3. Gear Lever Assy Complete Touch Though we have taken delivery from Kataria on 12/04/2008 . the same problem again come out while running on the road and was informed to your dealer on telephone Due to this problem we are feed up and tried and at last we wrote a letter by Registred AD Letter on 24/04/2008 asking them to furnished us a certificate that this problem is due to manufacturing defect which is not repairable. But Kataria Automobiles Ltd. has not replied to us and shown as inability and negligence in providing customer service. Simultaneously we have also given a legal notice to our lawyer on 26/04/2008. And in respose to this notice there lawyer had replied in uncleared manner. Hence at last we filed a case consumer forum court at Surat on dt. 18/06/2008


      After filing suit also we observed that your company is failed furnished reply to our complaint in time and after a period of 6 to 8 months left. The company blames us by showing the warranty card . We also regret that your dealer has till date not submitted any reply in consumer Court. Meanwhile we have taken following services from your authorized dealer

      Inspite of giving car for services to different authorized dealer but no fruitfull result received and none of your dealer is ready to give us technical defect certificate till date.

      Our main problem is 3rd Gear Vibration and noise which is not solver by authorized dealer and inspite of our Email to the company, the compny has not taken keen interest for solving the problem, hence our demand is to pay the cost of vehicle with occurred expense and with interest till date from the date of purchased. The company should also pay compensation for mental harassment and also pay a business loss.

      We astonished that such a internationally reputed company like Maruti Udyog under collaboration of Suzuki of Japan is not taking smallest care of the customer who purchased a car on reputation of Maruti.

After 10 days when I received my car from Apra Motors, It was supposed from my side that the functioning of the car is good and going to smooth but it is been very huge dissapointment from APRA MOTORS behalf that their mechanical Work is not satisfactory and after 10 days my car is not running smooth as I Had Supposed.           Maruti 800 (car) — non payment of insurance claim

          My friend Mr. Krishn Kumar bought a Maruti 800 bearing regn no DL-2C-AA-3426 and it was insured and policy was issued by NATIONAL INSURANCE COMPANY LIMITED vide Policy no 360901/31/06/[protected]. Atleast 13 months ago final police report for theft claim has been submitted at branch Office 617 A-620, Somdutt chamber-II, 9, Bhikaji cama place, New delhi-60 of national Insurance company limited but till date the cliam is pending. The ground that they are showing is that claim is not maintenable.

          with a small accident we took our maruti swift car na MH-02-AL-8829 to authorised service center of maruti udyog, SPECTRA MOTORS LTD, Ramachandralane extn., Kanchpada, Malad west MUMBAI 400064, on 28thjune 2008, on inspection, service advisers of Spectra it was disided to claim cost form insurence compayM/s.Royal sundaram alliance insurence company ltd., since the RT.side miror, rear rt.door, and back bumpar has been badly damaged, it is to be repaced new. the time given for the work, by the person concerned was 4 to 5 days. after 5th day when we contacted Spectra people started giving excuses one or other, on requesting daily on 18th july2008 they coled us to take delivery of our car, it was shoked to see our car such bad conditin that broken side mirror, which they have not replaced, insted of replacing rear rt.door, they badly repaired and painted, same was done with the bumpar this all thing to make M/s Spectra Motors, took 22 days hence we want to register complaints with Maruti Udyog to take necessary action, do the needfull to rectify the damege done to us.
          sir, i have a swift car with no.DL4C AA 3874 which met with an accident on 9-9-2009 near nanital and i got it repaired at balaji service station at rudraper(uttarenchal).the repair was nt up to the mark so i need the details of the claim passed by maruti national insurance.Its my kind request plzz send me the details ASAP, infact i m very much thankful to you if you send it to me on my email by tomorrow.

            Description of problem
            This is the first experience of my MARUTI car purchase as somebody says that "first impression
            is the last impression" but with maruti we have got the BAD impression I don’t know what to tell
            but in nutshell we have got waganR PHOBIA.
            I have purchased WaganR on 7th Dec 2008 after that I found some starting
            problem in the car on 9th December 2008, self starter enable to start the car (self start motor did
            not rotate and producing some sound called “tuck” every time I gave self). Then
            I called the sales person (Mr. DAS) of competent motors, Shivaji road Delhi from where we have
            purchased car they came and checked the car and asked us to take it to service centre but we
            argued and said them to take it by you, finally they agreed and tow the car for repair and repaired
            it. Problem described by service centre was ‘the self start burnt and we replaced it’ but I don’t
            kwon whether they really did this or just did some repair to sort this problem. Solution took two
            days and car repaired on 12th.
            After that I again encountered with the same problem on 16th December 2008 and again called
            the same person now they asked us to tow the car to the service centre. Now we were helpless
            and try to pull the car but failed. Then tried it with ‘dhakka’ and failed, after the three or four
            attempts, I tried it with self start it started now and we took it to the service centre they checked
            the car thoroughly and said it has some loose connection of battery and ground of starter. They
            repaired it and car starts working fine. We got our car repaired car on 20th December 2008.
            After that on 28th of December 2008 we were on long trip to Mathura
            from Delhi we parked our car outside the hotel and in the morning when we tried to start it
            chocked and not taking self “The same problem described early happened again this time also”.
            We confused and helpless and tried to start car moving it (Dhakka) it started after 3-4 attempt,
            once it started with force but now it start taking self fine as it was in normal condition.
            By seeing this I decide to complain into your office so that some is there
            to listen our problem and I called them Maruti helpline (Ph. [protected]) on 31st December
            2008 (Complaint no is ‘[protected]’), after waiting 4-5 days there were NO reply, I decided to
            call again and I called them again on the same no. for asking about the complaint. They were
            answer less and said ‘we will forward the complaint again’ and forward the complaint again and
            asked me to call to regional office for the status of call and I did the same and called the regional
            office (Delhi regional office No.[protected]. I have got the reply from regional office that “we
            don’t listen complaint did to helpline no. [protected]. We only listen complaint which did to
            region office I got angry but calm down and again registered the complaint to the regional office
            on 9th January 2009 (Complaint no.[protected] and name of person attended the call Tanveet.
            On 31st December 2008 my first service is due and got done it by the same service centre
            Competent Motors so that no other person touch the car and Competent Motors got excuse for
            that.
            After 2 days on 11th January 2009 car again choked with the same
            problem and this time we called Maruti Road help lines service as we stuck between the way to
            rohini from Uttam Nagar (My residence). Service engineer took 1.15 hour to come and repaired
            the car by saying that ‘ relay connection are loose’ and suggested us to take the car to the service
            centre for the repair of car’s relay and next day we visited service centre and got tighten the
            Relays and came home. This time they did repaired outside the service centre and NO job card is
            opened for this, so there is no proof for this but surely Road help line people having this proof as
            they not down all the visits in there dairy.
            After this 24th January 2009 again got the same problem. I really
            frustrated with the most reliable Maruti Car. We don’t know what to do and what the exact
            problem then called Maruti helpline and got the car repaired. He did nothing except some general
            check and car start working fine as before. [I wrote a mail on 24th January to you regarding
            the car problem and narrated whole story (Copy of mail attached) in mail and till the date
            29th January NO reply] I again confused and not able to diagnose a problem. He suggests us to
            take it to DD Motors Pera ghari but didn’t take car there as fighting for the solution is with
            competent motors. I took the car to competent motors and narrated the whole story again (which
            is they already know) and behaving like that they know nothing. I shouted ‘How many times this
            problem will occur and how much will you take’, for this he (Pradeep Sharma a ‘service
            manager’) answered ‘this problem will occur and we will repair it but don’t know how much
            time it will take’ whenever problem comes come to us will repair it, but I asked how many times
            the same problem will occur don’t you have any permanent solution for this as the car is NEW
            there should not be such a problem but he said come to us we will solve the problem. I don’t
            know how much time it will take. I have requested them for checking car thoroughly with the
            experienced service engineer and on 24th January they did general check up and on 27th they did
            some ‘FLYWHEEL’ repair (which should not be a problem in the new car).
            Again I encountered with the same problem on 1st February 2009. We
            again took the car to the service centre (competent Motors) on 2nd February 2009. I left the car
            for almost 2 weeks they thoroughly checked the car and replaced following as mentioned in Job
            sheet ( MOTOR ASSY Starting, Harness assy no. 5, Starting Motor(self) assy R&R, Ignition
            Switch assy R&R, Wiring no.5/Eng Wiring Harness R&R)
            On 15th I again encountered with the same problem and I talked to Mr. Menon
            (service Head in Competent Motors) regarding this and they again asked to took the vehicle next
            day I called regional office where I talked to Mr Shidarth and told the whole story and they also
            asked to took the vehicle to the competent motors but I didn’t thinks the problem solution lies in
            taking vehicle again and again to the service centre. I refused to took the vehicle as I had some
            urgent work. I manage to start the vehicle by ‘Dhakka’.
            Yesterday (2nd March) the problem again occur Now car is parked at my residence with the
            problem and I have talked to everybody but waiting and waiting.

            I agree that customer service of maruti these days is pathetic and even I am facing a lot of problem with my 4 months old ALTO LXI. no one listens to us at maruti and I think we should file a case against Maruti in consumer court.
            I also agree with the complaint as i also find maruti people not give any customer service. i have swift dzire vxi and also want to file case against maruti but dontknow the hthe procedure. i am from ghaziabad.

              Dear Sir,

              this in refrence to the poor service recived from your Dealer cum service center Pankaj Motors Moga, I had an ALTO CAR, on MY Mothers Name- Pushpa Singal, Car Number - PB04K 3739. We had an accident on 13th of Feb 2009 near Moga. So we have Given the Car to Nearer Service center M/S Pankaj Motors. for the repair work

              but after that the quality of the repair & the dealing was so poor that i can't not expalin you, please note the things we have faced
              1) Windows were changed brand new, but if you see thier alighnment in Not proper
              2) Painting doen is so poor that at some protion the old Paint is visible below the second coating
              3) There was high amount of sound Whcih was coming from the shocker ( though they have Attended after three days
              4) They have stolen the petrol from the CAR
              5) still high amount os Sound is coming from the silencer, on asking they are telling there is problme in mesh of silencer it has broken, then why the same was not calimed or repair,
              6) They have stolen the Plastic covers of the CAR
              7) its centeral locking siren is not working, now even after the accident the same was working

              on talking about the same to the owner, he satrted shouting at me and come togehter with his employees, at that moment i was feeling that they will beat me up.

              it was a ruthless experince, still i am not satisfied with the service, please lookinto the matter, this kind of service i can get from the local mechanic then what is the use of getting in touch with the MAruti

                Dear Sir,
                i have purchased one maruti alto car on 21.11.2008 from Dealer T.R.Sawhaney Motors Pvt Ltd, Phase-1, Badli, Delhi(Dealer Code - 0819) .My Car Registration no. is DL 5C D7959.Its been more than three months i have not got my RC from the dealer.When i followed Up with my dealer i came to know that i have some dues in my account of Rs 1202/-.

                I purchased this vehicle on cash & i have the Dealer invoice No. 5761 dt 21.11.2008.As per invoice i have paid full money & also no due shown on invoice & same was communicated to the dealer.Now even after one month of follow up from dealer, this issue still not resolved & i am unable to drive my car.

                Now please resolve this issue immediately & deliver my RC immediately.

                i have purchased i10 car from modi hyundai thane, the car was delivered to me on 1st feb 2009.i got my car registration no as MH05 AJ 6954, But after 3 months i have not got my RC Book. i had purchased the car from MODI HYUNDAI Thane through laxmi motors dealer from ulhasnagar. even after several follow up with the dealer i am unable to get the RC BOOK.The dealer has taken the total money from me.i want criminal case to be filed again MODI HYUNDAI THANE and LAXMI MOTORS ULHASNAGAR.
                i have purchased ALTO LXIcar from RNS MOTOR -HOSUR ROAD, BANGALORE, the car was delivered to me on 19/04/08.i got my car registration no as KA 51P 1867, But after 3 months i have not got SOME PROBLEM WITH BURNING SMELL FROM ENGINE SIDE& reverce gear change problem, DURING THE CHEC-UP IT HAS BEEN TOLD THIS SMELL IS DUE TO CLUTCH, they had made some repair work, but from that time to till today I am facing the problem with smell and reverse gear changing problem. I have so far run only 4500 kms, as i used my office car .

                Now every time they had done some small repair work and telling me it will become o.k, but still it is not o.k . I had registerd so many time this complain by mail to Maruti, now let me know how it can be rectified . Now RNS people is not listening .

                  no proper services from simran motors Auto (India) P Ltd .

                  I lata motwani have purchased a maruti swift desire from simran motors,
                  panvel in the month of april 2008 but till today I have not got the smart card which they should had given within 15 to 30 days of purchase .

                  I have gone there for so many times for the card but they have not given me the card nor they are giving me any proper information.Maruti Udhyog Ltd & Govt. has to take a strict action against the dealer.

                  Kindly Look in the matter and advice further action.

                    I have purchased Swift Dzire VXI Petrol on[protected] from OneUP motors pvt. Ltd. Lucknow. Dealer suggested me to get my Rims replaced by Alloy wheels which will cost nearly Rs 19000/-.I consented and they replaced my Four Rims by alloy wheels. I had asked why stepney was not changed with alloy rim, they told me that only set of four alloy wheels are provided by Maruti company. On enquiry with other dealer I came to knew that Maruti provides a set of Five alloy wheels not of Four as was told by the said Dealer.This is cheating a with the cutomer. I request Maruti Udyog Ltd. to stop such type of cheating by Dealers with their cutomers.

                    Dear Sir/Madam,

                    We have booked Maruti Suzuki Zen Estilo LXI (B.Red) on 10.08.2009 from Dewars Garage Ltd. [ 83/1, Topsia Road (S), Kolkata – 700046 ].They were unable to deliver B.Red of Zen Estilo. So we have purchased the car from Mohan Motor Udyag. Till date Dewars Garage Ltd has not refunded the advance of Rs 30000.00 vide cheque No : 364360 of HDFC bank . They have received the same through receipt No : V/04442/09-10. This is a matter of great concern.We have contacted Mr. Prasanjit Chatterjee (Sales executive) several times regarding this matter. Till date Dewars Garage Ltd has not refunded the amount.

                    Hope you will do the needful at the earliest

                      I have purchased a Wagon-R LXI from Khivraj Motors, Chennai on16.03.07. From the day1, there was problem in gear meshing particularly in 4 and 5th gears and also during running with AC on in 1 position, heavy jerking in specified speeds in 2 and 3 rd gear. The problem was intimated to khivraj Motors during free service and every time they intimate that it has been attended to. But the problem still persists. All of my friends who are experts in driving says that Maruti dealers always say like that during free service they will not attend but after warranty and during paid service they will give a list of spares to be changed. My vehicle number is TN 22 AV 1351 and so far only 4547 Kms is run. I am completely fed up with the vehicle. I have tested with many experienced Drivers who confirmed the problem is persisting. Now I am not interested to send the vehicle to the dealer who may charge for the no mistake of mine.
                      I am bringing this message to the knowledge of particularly Dr.K.Kumar, Advisor (Engineering) and Shri Pankaj Narula, Chief General Manager(Service), Maruti Udyog Limited, Gurgaon-122 015
                      for immediate arrangements for rectification of manufacturing defects and advise the concerned to rectify the faults free of cost as the vehicle was not run even 5000 Kms in 2 years.

Now I decided that In future, I will never trust on Maruti and its services.And always suggest to others to never trust for Maruti Brand. Because they fooling Inncocent people and selling out their old manufactured car at same price of new car. Its absolutely unfair practice by maruti. Its a totally irritated deal.                         I would like to draw your attention toward the worst response and non availabilty of
                        required car in your showroom. Actually I had booked for maruti SX4 ZXi (latest 2009 Manufactured) model in silky silver colour from maruti showroom "MOTORCRAFT SALES PVT. LTD., SAHIBABAD, Ghaziabad, U.P". I already paid him the booking amount of 1, 80, 000/- for SX4 Zxi 2009 model as on 11 feb 2009. Every formality has been completed in this regard.

                        Its very disappointing that the available all model at this showroom, in SX4 ZXi are of year 2008 manufactured except one model which is Black in colour (2009 feb. manufactured). From last 15 days I am waiting for required 2009 model.But sorry to say that I can't wait more due to non availability of required car. If you are unable to deliver the new SX4 ZXi latest B9 or 2009 manufactured model in silky silver colour upto last 26 feb 2009 then I would like to switch over for New HONDA City
                        i-Vtec model from Prime Honda Showroom, Ansal Plaza, Ghaziabad which is near to my house and ready to deliver their car soon.

                        As the loyal customer of maruti, I wrote this problem to you. So please provide me the required car last upto 26 feb.or refund my booking amount otherwise I will opt for New Honda City from Prime honda, Ghaziabad. I hope you will take necessary action.

                          Sir,

                          1. On 26-12-06, I had approached Maruti Suzuki showroom addressed at M/s. Magic Auto, Palam Dabri Road, Dwarka, New Delhi - 110 045 for purchasing a Maruti Wagon-R car. The Sales personnel at this showroom offered to me lucrative “yearend discount schemes”. It was promised that the discount scheme was a “combo pack” offer made by the together by the manufacturer, the dealer as well as the loan finance company.

                          2. The discount offered by the sales team lead by Shailender Thakur etc. among other was as under :

                          (i) EMI of Rs.6, 168/- @ 10.90%
                          (ii) Finance discount – 3 months EMI i.e Rs.18, 564/- (total EMI schedule is 57 instead of 60)

                          (iii) Cash discount of Rs. around 22, 000/-

                          3. Upon the assurances and promises and believing them to be true I duly convinced about the pricing and discount policy and thus agreed to book a Wagon-R (Lxi) car and paid an amount of Rs.75, 000/- vide cheque bearing No.152854 & 1898544 all dated 26-12-06. The car was promised to be delivered within 3 days but the car was actually delivered after much delay on 14th. Jan 07 and that too after making frequent visits to the showroom.

                          4.That, to my utter shock & disbelieve when I visited the offices of ICICI Bank car loan deptt. (car finaced through ICICI bank as advised by the sales person), I was refused any finance discount as promised by the dealer and instead I was informed that the loan was financed @ 11.47% instead of 10.90% as promised by the sales personnel at the showroom.
                          5. I was further told that the ICICI bank letters used by the Car agent was forged and fabricated which means my total EMI schedule is 60 months and not 57 months . The dealer was indulging such illegal activities of making false commitments based on forged and fabricated documents of ICICI bank.

                          6. Thereafter, I was constantly approaching the dealer, to redress my genuine grievances and in this regard personally met all concerned and also wrote several e-mails but his office responded by saying that the sales person had already left the job and hence they shall not be able to help.

                          7. However, The Dealer failed to realise that the assurances were given by his Car Agency –Magic Auto and was in writing (by giving fake EMI Scheduler) and hence the dealer was vicariously liable to honour the commitment made by his sales personnel because any assurance given by his sales personnel could not been without his tacit approval.

                          7. In view of the facts and circumstances as detailed above, it is clear beyond any iota of doubt that such activities were being carried out with impunity and was within the knowledge and active connivance of top management of car agency and as such tantamount to “cheating” and breach of trust.

                          8. That, being the authorized agency of MARUTI SUZUKI were duty bound to protect the interest of clients, but instead cheated upon by giving fake statement.

                          I, therefore finally call upon you all, that kindly address my grievence by asking the dealer to remit an amount of Rs.18, 564/- ( Eighteen Thousand Five Hundred Sixty Four Rupees Only) which is assured by the sales person by giving fake EMI schedule.

                            Subject: Dissatisfaction with my Swift issues & dealer’s service around them

                            Dear Mr. Narula,

                            Wish you and the entire Maruti staff a very Happy and Successful New Year!

                            I own a Swift VXI 2006 model car and I have had some of my best moments shared with this car as this happens to be my fist car. Prior to buying Swfit VXI, I have driven multiple cars (owned by my people) and was always proud of the value Marti delivered as a brand to its customers. The major reason to choose Swift over other brands was its technical strengths and overall promise of the brand value projected by Maruti as an organization.

                            My car dealer is: R.K.S Motors, Somajiguda, Hyderabad.

                            After I purchased the car, initially I had no issues and I was very happy with it. I drove the car at prescribed speeds for the 1000 KM limit, which I completed in a matter of 20 days. Right after this, I noticed a problem with the A/C. There was a strange smell from AC (a mix of chalk-piece, spirit and old damp dirty cloth kind of smell) when I accelerated the car at 1st, 2nd or 3rd gears. I took it straight to the dealer for repair and explained the issue, for which they said they cleaned the air filter and A/c blower parts and the problem is fixed.

                            To my surprise, the problem was far from fixed; I could observe the same smell from A/C right at the time of driving my car home from the service workshop. Then started a saga of follow-ups and check-ups with the dealer which continued through the 1st till 3rd service and is continuing till date after 2+ years of owning this car. The A/C smell problem is not resolved so far and I gave up surrendering to the technical incompetency of the staff working at this dealer location.

                            Just before my 3rd paid servicing, I noticed another problem, a strange sound coming from my brakes area especially front wheels whenever I applied the breaks. I informed this to be a problem and the technical representative said they will look into it. During the delivery of my car after 3rd service, he said the problem is fixed, which was true for a period of 2 weeks, only to return back. Again my saga of follow-ups and multiple check-ups with the service center started but right till this moment, my break noise issue is not resolved! This is only an addition to my existing A/C smell issue which remained unresolved for 2+ years now.

                            The break noise issue was first diagnosed as breaks cleanup problem, next it was diagnosed as metal touching the break problem, next it was diagnosed as the differential problem and I was asked to take less sharper turns with the vehicle (contradicting what you show as Swift’s USP in the advertisements) which I adhered to and now, it is diagnosed as just a problem! This time, I am afraid if this problem turns out to be life threatening by way of break-failure at some point of time and I simply cannot surrender to the technical incompetency for such a potentially big problem.

                            I see these two problems as an eloquent testimony of the technical incapability of the staff working at my dealer location. This has not only costed me my time and energy but have bought a lot of heart-burn towards overall Maruti’s service setup.

                            I believed Swift to be a safe and dependable car (which it was till it got these irresolvable issues) but me and many others like me would not be able to afford their time and money for the multiple visits to compensate for the technical inability of employed personnel at the service center. Especially with the potential situation of my 2nd problem around noises coming from applying breaks, I see it no less than life-threatening which has negatively impacted my confidence in the safety and dependability of the car.

                            I have great respect and pride in Maruti as an Indian organization which has played a great role in improving the overall standards of life for Indian car customer and is continuing its efforts to do so. But with issue like the ones I have with my car, not getting fixed on multiple painful visits, it is disheartening to note the state of your service setup which is again advertised as the USP for Maruti as a brand.

                            I believe one cannot own a product like a car without a strong technical service support. Due to this, I am now planning to sell my Swift VXI to buy another brand car. Initially I wanted to upgrade my Swift to an SX4 but I see very weak chance of that happening especially with competitor brands like Honda (Honda City to be specific).

                            For all the loyalty I had for Maruti and the love I had for my Swift car, I am taking out this time out from my busy schedule to write to you my heartfelt feedback. I seriously suggest you to look into the lack of technical knowledge of the staff at this dealer’s location and plan for upgrading it at the earliest.

                            I am myself a manager for software development in a reputed organization and I understand the importance of customer feedback to improve my products and services. I hope you also give the same significance and importance to a customer feedback and will take steps for improvement of your services to your customers.

                            Please let me know what do you want me to do with these 2 problems in my Swift car! I would love to hear from you before I take any further steps away from Maruti as a brand and a reputed Indian organization.

                            Subject: Problems with the Swift -VDI delivered to on 4 April 09

                            Dear Mr. Narula,

                            I own a Swift VDI model car and I have had some of my best moments shared with this car as this happens to be my III vehicle and changed from Santro to Swift. Prior to buying Swift VDI, I have driven many cars that are with me plus from my friends. The major reason to choose Swift over other brands was (1) many people use it (2) good looking (3) diesel with good mileage and some technical facts with this vehicle. But unfortunately from very first day I am facing problems like-

                            (1) III gear slips for fraction: this problem is very much irritating and I am not happy with this because not a single vehicle on road is having such problem. This I have observed on very first day i.e. on 4 April 09 itself. I have shown to dealer Automotive, Aurangabad on 6-9 April 09 and on checking of my vehicle no one is ready to accept the fact and every one is saying that it is not a problem at all. For my confirmation I have checked 4 other swift VDI from show room and 2 from friends and most of the VDIs did not have this problem. I have given a written complaint to Automotive, Aurangabad but till the date no response from the dealer. Basically problem with the engineers who have checked is that they are not accepting the fact and not trying to understand what actually I mean to say.
                            I am expecting first free servicing on 3rd May and if my problem is not solved or taken seriously then I will not be keeping mum because I have spent almost Rs 6 lakhs for this vehicle. I have sent you the one hard copy of the format (from Owners manual) duly filled with the detailed information and the same problem. I am expecting early action in this regards.

                            (2) Irritable vibratory sound- it is like vibration of some parts from all side within the vehicle. This gives me an impression that my vehicle is very old may of 2-3 years.

                            (3) Vehicle Stops on the road: all of sudden some times vehicle stops and I have to use the ignition. This again a dangerous and may cause an accident.

                            Please let me know what you want me to do with these 3 problems in my Swift car! I am expecting immediate action from your end and only that will stops me moving further.

                            I am the customer of Maruti and I owned Swift diesel VDI ( MH31-CR 0851)since 15 months with my run of about 20000 km. During my second paid service at Maruti authorized servicing centre –Automotive at Nagpur, I found some irregularity regarding the service which I received at automotive.

                            I have following grienences about maruti authorized automotive service station.


                            1. I have given the vehicle for accident claim .They have done painting work which was not done properly . There are patches of the paint at dainting painting site which looks like an ardinary painting.I informed them about this, still they are giving me appointment for same .i already wasted 15 days for getting appointment.
                            2. I asked them for watch repair which They forgot and when I informed them about same, they gave me this excuse that oil damages the watch. If any time the engineer tries to repair the watch why didn’t they inform me about the watch while the vehicle is in service centre?
                            3. If I had taken initial appointment why they took three hours for making job card ?.

                            Its not the complaint but treat this as priority and quick response.

                            Maruti Suzuki / Swift VXi — Poor servicing

                            Dear Sir/ Madam,
                            I owned a Maruti Swift Vxi car for 1 and half years, i was very happy with the performance of the car, i serviced my car on time on APRA Automobiles at Gurgaon.

                            But in the starting of may 10, i got my car serviced for its first paid service, a lot of works were done by the dealer (i.e. apra automobiles, manesar, gurgaon). But the performace of my car is very bad after this servicing, pick has beed reduced, i dont know why? sometimes i feel that i am driving any 1000 cc car instead of my favourite swift.also car was very dirty from inside after servicing, the hands with grease seems to be whiped with the interior of the car.
                            Also a small sound of vibration start coming from the backside of the car after servicing.

                            I request you to kindly look into the matter.

                              My car WB02Z 8327 met with an accident on 06.11.2008 at National Highway under Police Station Rajgunj, Near Dhanbad. The accident was major and the car could not be braught to Kolkata. (I stay in Kolkata). The car had to be handed over to reliable industries at Dhanbad (Maruti authorised workshop) for repairs.
                              The estimate given by them was for Rupees 150000/- Approx but when the car was delivered to us on 28.12.2008 the bill was for only Rs. 67000/-. Apparently everything was fine but after a few days problem started occuring in the car. Body started making sounds, car started puuling to the left side, suspension which was supposed to have been changed started making sound. when we talked to reliable industried about this they said to bring the car to Dhanbad and leave it there for check ups and that we have to pay for the repair costs. when we lodged a complaint over phone to Maruti Udyog, we were given a complaint Number ([protected]) and were told that we will be contacted by some one from Maruti or Reliable but till date nothing has happened.The tyres of the car are getting damaged fast due to this fault.

                              Since Dhanbad is 4 hours away from Kolkata can Maruti Udyog arrange for the car to be repaired here and since I havew already paid for all the work done shouldn't the work be done free of cost?

                                I given my car Maruti Baleno No. MH12DE7971 for service to Sai Service, Phugewadi, Pune on friday 20th Feb.09.

                                After servicing bill was submitted for Rs.11486/- And when I checked for power Window operations I found back seats both power windows are not functioning. Also no audio sound is available on music system.

                                When contacted to Mr. Sanjiv([protected]), his comments are we have not done anything to music system and power window. Similar complaints I raised for poor service from same dealer last year too. After lot of assurance I gave my car to this service station but again same story.

                                Pl. help, how to resolve this and to whom should I contact.

                                  Hope you are fine. I am a Maruti Suzuki customer from last 11 years. I own 3 cars of your company.

                                  Actually I had purchased Wagon R LXi on the name of Mrs. Muktaben K. Virani from Kataria Automobiles Ltd, Ahmedabad. As per the talks with sales representative of Kataria Automobiles Ltd Mr. Hasmukh Gohil on 22/12/2006, he offered me the discount of rupees 35, 000/- on Wagon R LXi E3 White. I have attached the page on which he had given me in written the offer which shows the Price of Wagon R LXi + R.T.O + Insurance + 1st advance Installment, discount of rupees 35000/- and file charge.

                                  So After the talks with Mr. Hasmukh Gohil, I was satisfied with his offer and I booked my car on the spot by paying Rs. 5000/- cash on 22/12/2006. I paid the remaining amount of the car Rs. 57, 065 by cheque no. 147323 on 29/12/2006, which included R.T.O. Tax, Insurance, 1st Advance Installment (EMI) and paid Rs. 1660 in cash as file charge. I decided to go for loan of Rs. 3, 00, 000/-. So I submitted all the necessary documents regarding loan of Rs. 3, 00, 000/-. But after many days I was not informed regarding my loan approval status. I was sent all my documents back on 12th January 2007 and was informed by Mr. Hasmukh Gohil that we can’t do your loan, so you kindly loan your car yourself and give me D.D. At that time I questioned him that why I was not informed for those many days and whenever I dialed him regarding the loan status, he said that it will be sanctioned within 2 or 3 days etc.

                                  After this, I sanctioned the loan from S.B.S Bank within 3 days and gave D.D (no. 311086) of Rs. 3, 12, 159 in favour of Kataria Automobiles Ltd. Because of norms and regulations of S.B.S, they gave me D.D of Rs. 3, 12, 159/- which included Insurance also. But actually I have to give D.D. of Rs. 3, 00, 000/- only. At the time of delivery, I asked for the amount which I had to take back from Kataria Automobiles which was Rs. 12, 159/- of the D.D as I paid extra above the loan amount, Rs. 9500/- of advance EMI as I paid it to bank and Rs. 1660/- of File charge which totals the sum of Rs. 23, 319/-.

                                  I have all document with me including offer given by Hasmukh Gohil to me...
                                  When I got the Invoice, I found that the Basic amount of car, R.T.O and Insurance is totally different as compared to the amount paid by me. Please see the attached copy in detail .

                                  According to the Invoices which I receive, I should get back more money, which I paid more than the Invoice amount and I should also get back Rs. 23, 319 which I paid extra on the offer letter. But after continuously making many calls, I got a cheque of Rs. 7658/- on 22/1/2007.

                                  I complained many times regarding this but I got answer that in a week we will give you the remaining amount. But till today I have not received any rupees from Kataria Automobiles Ltd. I have sent this copy on 16th March - '07 to kataria motors as well as to Regional Office, (West - III), Iscon Mall, Satellite Road, Ahmedabad.

                                  So here is my request to put forward my complain and help me to get me my the remaining amount with Interest. I have been sending mails for last 2 years regarding same but i didnt get any reply...

                                  So kindly reply me as soon as possible. Waiting for your positive reply.

                                      I may not be one of the proud owners of Maruti Swift. My vehicle no is PY 01 AE 2054. I had an accident May 2008. After that I gave it for repairing it in Vasanthi Automobiles in Pondicherry. As I am not tied up with Maruti Insurance Vasanthi asked for some payment. Initially I paid Rs. 30, 000/- but they did not even touched the vehicle. They were convincing me stating that parts have not come from maruti. Every time it was next week. Again they asked for payment and I paid Rs. 100000/- on 11/12/2008 and I also told them that I will pay again once they start the work. But still the same promises are made to me that still parts not received from maruti. For some parts if it takes 9 months. I have wasted my 9 months behind following this

                                        I have recently purchased a Maruthi car taking loan from SBI after doing extensive research and analysis based on the information provided by Maruthi Udyog Ltd. In the website, www.maruti.co.in its declared that there will not be any processing fee from SBI for taking vehicle loan for buying Maruthi car from any authorised dealer.

                                        I have purchased car from the approved agency ‘My Car’ Bhopal. But when I approached with the printed copy of the finance obtained from the website, SBI declined to waive off the processing fee. A copy of the information is attached herewith for your kind information. To get the loan sanctioned at earliest, I gave a cheque(No. 352404, SBI, Bhopal) towards the processing fee(0.5 percent of loan amount). The exact processing amount is Rs.1130 of Rs.2, 26, 000(loan amount).

                                        In this regards, I have sent emails many time at [protected]@maruti.co.in. Mr. Dilip Patnaik informed me during telephonic discussion on 4th Jan’09 that the processing fee can be refunded from our side in reference to the email. The last email communication of reference no HT20081230_[protected] received from Mr. Dilip Patnaik on 10th Jan 2009.

                                        I am seeking your kind attention to the matter.

                                        Kindly do the necessary steps to refund the processing fee collected by SBI, which is a violation o[censored]ser information provided in the website.

                                        Dear Sir/Madam, I have bought a new car wagon-R in January 2009, Model of 2009, bought it from Bright4wheels, ring road Lucknow. The day it was purchased, the very next day I asked the authorities that the LEFT FRONT DOOR of the vehicle produces the Knocking-Voice, the DRIVING SEAT also produces lot of noises & the wiper blades also does not work properly. the G.M (general manager) of the show-room said that all the problems will be taken care of on the First servicing of the car. But I couldn't receive any changes to my car. What should I do now ? Please give some tips.

                                        my above mentioned car picked up by your company rep on 7th March 2009 at 10.30am as per instructions of Ms Manju, cOMPETENT, GAZIPUR, i was assured to get return the vechicle on same day but i never had any info till evening.I releasized at 6pm and tried to contact on the numbers but no reply, which has given at lot trouble to me, kindly look into the matter urgently.

AND THEN THEY HAVE ISSUE THE CAR LOAN FROM AXIS BANK AND KNOW KATARIA REPLY IN A NEW RAAGA THAT EXECUTIVE NAME ALPESH WORKING IN KATARIA HAS NOT SUBMIT THE DOCUMENT REGARDING NOC. ONE CAN UNDERSTAND WITHOUT RC BOOK IT IS NOT LEGALY POSSIBLE TO DRIVE A CAR SPECIALLY WHEN ONE HAVE MOVE OUT OF STATE. TODAY I AM FACING THE CONDITION IS THAT, THAT I HAVE TO HIGHER / RENT A CAR FROM TRAVELL AGENT THIS ALL DRAMA IS GOING ON FROM THE VERY FIRST DAY OF MY PURCHASE DAY I THINK KNOW THIS CAR IS JUST A SHOWCASE FOR ME,

                                        PLS CONSIDAR THIS FEW LINES OF EPASTILE IN FEVERABLE ACTION.

                                        and also write his unsatisfatory worked he have taken payment from insurance and not tuch the problam also take payment from me and change the my cars orignal bonut when i complained to works manager he told me that i will call u . neither i received any call from works manager nor by u any message. my problem as it is. see the matter on your label.
